Tavern Scene is coming back baby
this Saturday JUN 1st 2024
a dnd game played on Tumbler where the PC's actions are determined by the masses
oh wait that's what @tavern-scene does...
(shameless plug I chose you)
Hey, this is a solid idea! Looks like the blog you mentioned has gone on a hiatus, but if anyone out there wants to start a new campaign of some kind, letting the polls decide an adventurer's fate? Could be a cool trend to set!
Idea: let tumblr control a familiar in your campaign - whether you're a player or GM, it can be fun to have a little mischievous critter to keep track of! Each week, you can update the masses on where the familiar is, and let them decide its broad goals.

one last boost
I have received no applications
witch available through the discord
I'm so sorry y'all I just couldn't figure out anything for the story so I once again
This Blog Was an experiment
Here are my takeaways from this campaign
Again with consistency: it's hard enough for regular DND groups to get together to play and you'd assume this was easier but since I don't see your reactions it's still difficult to have the motivation
Sample size... Both good and bad: a small sample size means that one vote really matters but it also means that there's no as many people enjoying this game which is disappointing but understandable
Story: I failed... I didn't really have a story to tell and we all suffered because of it. So over the next month I will be recruiting you all to help write a text based adventure game that I can then modify for play here on Tumblr

SO I'VE MADE A DECISION
it starts with
I made a Discord server for those who want it. I know this group is small but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't exist.
the other part of the decision
Polls don't really work for this. so I'm asking for two (2) players to send an application (in the discord) in so that we can play and produce a fun & entertaining game. you will still affect the game at the end of the session there will be a poll and that is where you get to make decisions
the decisions could be things I as DM have to do, things the PC will do, or both
I know this wasn't exactly what you signed up for but it's what's happening rn... I might change my mind again
OH HEARS THE DISCORD
I'm so sorry y'all I just couldn't figure out anything for the story so I once again

I had fun! Thank you for trying this format. It was really accessible for me and very low intimidation. I think I got to participate in like 95% of them which is like a big win for me personally. I feel bolder and braver for the experience <3, bless xoxo
Thank you
After next week I'll start writing
