Life and Death, a Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Story
In the streets of Candleheld, a city of Shyish, marched the four clawed legs of Thavara. The vampire, formerly of the Avengorii Dynasty, paused in front of a green realmgate. This gate lead to the other half of the twin city, the half within the lush forest of Ghyan. She planned to enter the gate and travel to the Realm of Life, but nervousness froze her place. The green glow washed over her thin, light blue lower body. Her blood red wings hid her clawed fingers playing with a woven dagger, a gift from the one she wished to talk to.
Thankfully for her, the one Thavara wished to talk to walked through the realmgate first.
“Ahh, Zyn.” She said, faking confidence and trying to use her wings to hide her wagging tail. “Just the wych I wanted to see. What brings a child of life into the realm of the dead?”
Zyndras, a sylvaneth branchwych, stood in the glow of the gate. A scythe sat on her light brown shoulder while bugs skittered through the red leaves decorating her head. “I could say the same of you.” She answered, her voice raspy.
“How many times do I have to remind you that I’m undead?” Thavara laughed.
“You know what I mean.”
“I joke. Still as stiff as the tree you live in, aren’t you?”
“Still trying not to eat everyone you meet?” Zyndras shot back, her still face failing her attempt at comedy.
With a hearty laugh, Thavara plucked a worm out of Zyndras’s foliage. “You supply me with enough meat.” She said, throwing the insect into the air and catching it her mouth. “What to talk in the normal spot?”
The two warriors meandered past the strange looks of Candleheld's residents towards an old, abandoned dock. This dock was partially destroyed during an ogor pirate invasion. While the invasion was dealt with long ago, a small gnoblar tribe that traveled with the brutes had infested the area and keep people from repairing the broken trade port. A new dock was built a hundred meters down the beach.
Thavara’s fangs dug deep into a lone gnoblar’s neck while Zyndras poked at a piece of washed up driftwood. A flower sprouted from the wood.
“So… what’ve been up to seen we last talked?” The vampire asked, trying to avoid what she wanted to say.
“I was,” Zyndras sighed, keeping her eyes on the sprouting flower. “I was visited by Mother Alarielle.”
“Oh! That’s great!” Thavara smiled. “I wish Alarielle was my god. She’s so much nicer than Nagash.”
“She is.” The sylvaneth sadly creaked.
“What’s wrong Zyn?”
She sighed. “Mother Alarielle asked me to become a Soulbound.”
The statement struck Thavara like a stake through the heart. Becoming a Soulbound meant one thing. Death. Permanent death. No resurrection. No rebirth. Nothing. A soul lost forever.
Thavara knew the danger of becoming a Soulbound, especially for a sylvaneth like Zyn. Her plant pal and her kin lived for their cycles of death and rebirth. If she agreed to this request from her goddess, her entire "bloodline" ends right here.
"Y-you said no, right?"
Zyn didn't answer her.
“Right?”
"You wouldn't say no to your god."
"I wouldn't say no to Nagash because he'd rip out my bones and build a new servant!" Thavara yelled, throwing the dead gnoblar to the ground. "Alarielle gives you a choice. YOU CAN SAY NO!"
"I can't!" Zyn shot back. "No sylvaneth can say no to our Goddess!" She lowered her voice with a sigh. "Death can't refuse their god. Life won't."
The two stood in silence. The blood of the greenskin drip towards the piece of driftwood, watering the red flower growing out of it.
"I'm sorry." Thavara squeaked. "I don't have many people I can call a friend. I-I'll miss you..."
"So will I." Zyn said, taking a step closer to the vampire. "But you will always be a member of my Glade."
Thavara wrapped her clawed arms around the branchwych, lifting her into the air and causing her to drop her scythe. "I'll keep an eye open for you here." She smiled, pressing her forehead against Zyn's. "You Glade will be safe with me."
"I trust you will."
The vampire laughed as she dropped her sylvaneth friend. "So what does your god want you to do?"
"Those I am bounded to and I are tasked with preventing Drycha and her Outcast from attacking the free cities of Ghyran. Candleheld included."
Unnoticed by the two, the flower roots buried into the sand of the beach, the blood feeding the burgeoning plant. This will not be the last time this flower will taste blood. Mere months later, Zyndras would stare down at the blooming, blood red flower, fed by the blood of Thavara.
Thavara never told Zyndras that she became a Soulbound herself.

"...I believed it would have been best if you had a place as my Bishop, compared to Lord Nero."
Rias's voice is carefully neutral, and Mikazuki supposes she can't fault her for such thoughts, Akeno would certainly be able to give her more personable lessons in Magic than anyone Nero could find, it doesn't take away from the awkwardness that premates the air between them though, wouldn't have done much in the end, she'd probably have resented Rias if she had won.
"He let them call you 'Useless Magician'," Kojimaru clarified from where he had taken charge of styling Akeno's hair, he was sat behind the Queen and was making a valiant effort at a crown braid, "you don't let family be called 'Useless' by people who should know better."
Koneko managed a noise of agreement from beside her, seemingly more engrossed in her Kanji workbook than the actual conversation, but she had, at least, kept half an ear on them.
"Koji-kun," Akeno admonished patiently, but there wasn't any real heat to it, no warning, just fondness, "Mikazuki-chan has already explained her own stance on her epithet, there's no need to criticize."

ayo i wanna know more about Feyre's peerage how did he come to get them all homie
I am vibrating in my seat for the fact that I've finally have a reason to expand on this without writing each Peerage members introduction!
Buckle up, because I'm going to RAMBLE!
First things first!
Who was Feyre's first Peerage member? Most might default to his Queen, Zyndra, if only for the fact that, by logical conclusion, that he's the most powerful member of his Peerage, (and absolutely feral when it comes to his safety, but that's a Queen perquisite, Akeno damn near cooked someone to death in this AU for the fact that they threatened to expose Tsubaki and Mikazuki's status to their relatives), and thus must have been actively scouted, right?
No.
Fuck no, in fact the thing that kicks off the Oriax Peerage AU is that Feyre's Queen piece, as opposed to 'canon' I suppose, is Mutated, and Zyndra existence as a servant of the Oriax family is what indirectly pretty much what saves Feyre and his brother, Aurum, from death.
Anyway, moving forward, Feyre's first official Peerage member is, in fact, Mikazuki!
So, expanding on her backstory.
Mikazuki, before she became a Devil, was the Heiress to the Kushihashi Clan before Seiryuu was chosen by the Azure Dragon. However, in life, she was very sickly and frail, thus she was labeled 'Useless' pretty early on, and that was only compounded by the fact that the Azure Dragon rejected her, (although, I have a scene in mind concerning a confrontation between these two at a later date), so she was regulated to the fianceè of the future Clan Heir, if they were a male, and or be married off to Byakko, the Shinra heir, if the future heir was female.
[Seiryuu was chosen by the Azure Dragon shortly before everything went to shit and Mikazuki ended up as Feyre's Bishop. So they've met a few times, and Seiryuu definitely recognizes her by the time they meet again during the political meetings with the Youkai factions, but the, uh, romance aspect of their relationship only really took with Seiryuu who immediately liked the idea of taking care of his future wife, and it did help that she was cute and very nice.
Mikazuki's engagement gift was, for future reference, a fully decked out wardrobe and jewelry set. A showing of Seiryuu's ability to provide for her.]
As it goes, Feyre inherited the Oriax gift of prophecy, and thus knew that she would be taken hostage, and that she would be killed, however, as a eight year old Devil child, he went to his parents with this revelation and quietly asked if he could be taken to the place he saw in his vision last. They get there... A little late, thus requiring Feyre to reassurect her with his Bishop piece.
After that is Zyndra, who, at that point... Well wasn't Zyndra just yet, instead he was simply Kunshullok, as he was named by his dragon father, (who kind of left for milk and never came back, not that his mother was much better), and well... He kinda just followed Mikazuki home one evening a few months later, clinging to her shirt as he looked at her like she hung the moon and stars.
...and then proceeded to try and straight up maim Feyre when the older boy went in for a hug. Which, honestly, is kind of tame in response to touching someone a Dragon has explicitly claimed as their's without their explicit permission.
The incident that inducted Zyndra into the Peerage was the direct result of someone else trying to lay claim to Zyndra by force, Feyre had been perfectly willing to simply have Zyndra exist as his friend, as vitriolic as the relationship was at the same time, and provide for him as Mikazuki's chosen lover.
...this did NOT sit well with Karna Amon. Who, after hearing of the Dragon-Demigod that was floating around the Oriax lands, unclaimed as a Peerage member, and Feyre's course of action, decided that if the Oriax weren't going to put the boy to use, then he would.
What happened afterwards is... Well, it ended with Zyndra deciding to give up using his true name on public, as Karna had access to the first syllable and was making his life hell over it, (Dragons have some weird name mechanics going on in this AU), and ultimately decided to become Feyre's Queen as protection. This was completely on his own merit, and Feyre even tried to disuade him from it, but ultimately caved when Zyn was damn near sniped by Karna's Knight.
Thankfully, they were about even in power levels around this time, Zyn's SC was still sealed, and, you know, he was a a child.
[Rias was responsible for Zyndra's last name, she thought it was creative, Zyndra just thinks being named after a plant is better than nothing.]
After this came Murayama [Ayaka]. Who, in this AU is half-devil half-human, and a a servant of the Oriax family, but ultimately served Feyre's aunt Zilver until he requested her services as a pawn.
How they actually met... Well...
So, Ayaka herself has never put much stalk in the differences between nobility and common Devils, much less 'half-breeds', like herself. To Ayaka, blood is blood, it's messy, it's red, and at best, in the long run, it just paints a target on your back.
So, when the woman she calls mother, her protector, the person she looks up to and hopes to one day emulate, is ridiculed for the fact that her kindness, her gentle nature, is not what a Devil is meant to be, disgraced for the fact that she claims a halfbreed as her daughter...
Well, she snaps.
She tells the people, children, really that they're absolutely hopeless if they think that having a kind heart makes someone weak and useless. Idiots, if they think her powerless for the fact that her father was a human.
And then there's Feyre, awkward and lanky, just learning how to truly navigate the viper pit they call the Courts of Hell, and absolutely enraptured by this girl who refuses to back down.
[Does he fall in love at first sight? Eh... Not exactly, he's more intrigued, and they only start dating when they've spent more than a decade helping oversee Kuoh.]
So, he makes the offer, and Murayama shoots him down. Hard.
It's only through an odd sort of courting, a bouquet of yellow spider lillies, and something resembling an intervention on Feyre's behalf, courtesy of an exasperated Mikazuki and a frustrated Zyndra, that Ayaka finally joins Feyre's Peerage.
Now, in no particular order...
Momo simply joins Feyre's Peerage for the fact that she feels far more... relaxed under his 'guardianship', as Feyre is far more lax in how his servants go about their lives, and fully expects most of his Peerage to scatter to the four winds once he takes over as the head of the Oriax Family.
[Well, he knows Salem and Ayaka will stick around, but the former is mainly because Salem is kind of a war criminal by then, and Ayaka will be Lady Oriax and helping him run the lands.]
So, before the beginning of hers, Rias, Sona, and Feyre's first year at Kuoh Academy, High School division anyway, she requests to have her Evil Piece transferred to his Peerage.
Honestly its... Not all that climatic, and Momo prefers it that way.
Kurama Akio and Hasegawa Yuuki are bi-paternal twins, which makes them half-siblings. The official story is that Akio and Yuuki joined Feyre's Peerage as a peace offering on behalf of the original Clan that happened to own Kuoh.
...in reality?
No one wanted to deal with the hellspawn that was the result of an empath, a necromancer, and a pyrotechnic's coupling any longer than absolutely necessary.
Feyre was the one to recieve them on the grounds that the Clans local seer, who had cared for the twins in their elder brother, Shinobu's, absence, took one look at Rias and Sona and quite plainly told them that they were not ready for the clusterfuck that would come with the Japanese Vampire clans coming down on their asses.
[They're used to having the backing of their siblings and their families influence, not only do their siblings not matter in this situation, as the Japanese Vampire clans have their own 'Super Devils', their families mean absolutely NOTHING to the Japanese Vampire Clans.
Feyre is used to dealing with minimal backing, thinking on his feet, and not only are several of his relatives considered outcasts by Devil Society, people tend to immediately assume the worst of him due to Acier and Aurum's shortcomings.
There's also the fact the he's completely okay with deffering to Yuuki and Akio on this, allowing them to act where they need to, and offering silent support and advice when needed, where as Rias would simply completely pull them back and do the absolute bare minimum of interaction with the Japanese Vampire clans, which wouldn't fly whatsoever, as, Reincarnated Devil or not, Akio and Yuuki are kind of Shinobu's only link to sane, rational, thought, and Shinobu's kind of a tiny God to the JVC.
Meanwhile, Sona would likely dismiss them outright, mostly due to their age, Yuuki and Akio are the youngest members of the Oriax Peerage at the beginning of Canon, both being thirteen, and try to take charge from the start.]
They rather gracefully bowed out after that.
Anyway, yeah, Yuuki and Akio are sort of an alternative to a Political Marriage on Sona and Feyre's behalf.
Yuuki is actually far more bitter over this than Akio, the latter of which is just... Kinda resigned, (and yes, Feyre, Sona, and Rias were largely responsible for a pair of murderous Vampiric toddlers for quite a bit, this, however, does not translate to romantic attraction, as they essentially all see each other as relatively close cousins... Again, it's an ethics thing).
[Gasper, Koneko, Akio, and Yuuki are very much all still considered as overachieving toddlers by the time of canon, the aging mechanics are being figured out as I type, I swear, but they're all still freakishly young by their respective species standards.]
Tachibana Minato.... well, that's a bit complicated. I'm pretty sure I've made a throw-away line about Minato having a Sacred Gear, Tarot Of Fortune, once.
...it's not really a throwaway line.
Tarot Of Fortune: Cards Of Fate, has caused Minato no end of grief, frustration, and fear. It's no Longinus, but that doesn't dispute it's shear versatility. Depending on the Tarot Card Minato 'assigns' to himself, he gains that Cards predetermined ability, some of them are pretty straightforward, The Strength, for instance, increases his, well, strength. Some are more abstract.
The Fool, for one, is understanding of another's Journey, the Fortune is pure, unadulterated, luck. So on and so forth.
(Yes, yes, I know, I know, there was a Godsdamned reason I named this motherfucker Minato. Fake name aside.)
[And yes, there's a abstract sort of Social Link/Confidant thing going on with him, it's kind of why he likes keeping to himself, it's kind of ruined relationships with him.
...three guesses as to who the Hermit is, and the first two don't count.]
Moving forward, how Feyre and Minato meet is actually a bit sad, he's the only person in Feyre's Peerage to feel as though he's trapped by the fact that he has no where else to go but into the protection that being a Peerage's Knight brings him.
(This sets him at odds with Urisha, who kind of... just wishes it happened sooner.)
So, after a particularly rough week, Minato lets Fortune practically lead him around for about a solid month, just... Drifting, from moment to moment, quietly, until... he kind of stumbles into a particularly disgruntled Salem Arianne on a food run.
[Salem is kind on the bus of 'Adopt Them All'. And her main motivation to gaining her own Peerage is kinda along the lines of... well, being the exact opposite of her backstory.]
And Salem, seeing this lost, half-starved, and distinctly dead-eyed, grabs him by the elbow, and proceeds to drag him to Feyre and say that she's taking care of him from now on, fuck whatever opinions he might have.
Feyre's okay with this, he's a bit befuddled, but it works, (it should be noted he has no idea who the hell this blond haired guy is, but he's not one to question Salem and her... Salem-ness), it makes his friend happy, and a boy gets a home.
Six weeks after this incident, Minato approaches Feyre of his own merit, and quietly asks to be his Knight.
A bit of back and forth is had, and Feyre agrees, thus, Minato joins the Peerage!
[It should be noted that, after Uri becomes his Rook, and final Peerage member, she and Minato get into a fistfight sometime after they're introduced.
This does not end in Minato's favor.]
Minato then asks to discard his old name, and this is where Feyre calls Rias and asks for help. And then... Tachibana Minato!
(It should be noted that she also chose Zyndra's name from a spinner wheel of first and last names.
In story he was almost Ozymandis Nightshade, meta-wise, it was either Sol Aster or Zymdra/Zyndru/Zale Venus.)
Uri... is more than a bit complicated.
She's meant to be a foil to Vali, of sorts anyway, where he was born with a powerful Sacred Gear, talent, and lucked into getting Azazel's love and support, (not that the Fallen or Half-Devil would ever admit that, but nonetheless, it's the truth), Urisha is the product of a one-night-stand between her mother, Alara, a Hellborn Witch, and Evectus Mammon, and, has, essentially, spent her entire life fighting for a chance to be left the fuck alone.
Evectus Mammon never considered her worth keeping around, (at least the Lucifer family sees Vali as useful, if to dangerous to approach at this point, Uri doesn't even have that much), and Alara pretty much washed her hands of anything resembling fondness when it came to do with Urisha the moment it got through her skull that Evectus thought she was completely batshit and wanted nothing to do with her, much less their disappointment of a daughter.
[The first time someone calls her 'Uri' instead of Urisha, in such a fond tone that even she can't tell if they're mocking her or not, she takes a long look at her and her mother's relationship.]
She wasn't born with prodigious talent with Magic, she learned all her tricks through trial and error, blood, sweat, and tears, terror and a need to survive. She didn't have access to a Longinus, much less any Sacred Gear, she didn't even inherit the ability of the fucking Mammon family, or any Devil abilities really, just a knock off Empathy ability, (which, she will learn to put to use eventually, via Akio's inability to leave a dead horse alone), and with the amount of stock Devil Society puts in Blood Relations a potential traitor for a father made her more of a liability then an asset.
So, what does a Half-Human Half-Devil do to survive in the Underworld where absolutely no one, not even her own mother, is on her side?
Adapt, stay out of sight, and do some really shady shit to make it through the day.
Uri joining Feyre's Peerage, which is in the Three's second year at Kuoh Academy High School, is the ending note to an attack on Kuoh by Fowler Paimon, who hires on Uri after manipulating her feelings for him and putting her to work for him over a misconceived notion that, if she does this, she might be able to get someone, anyone to give a damn about her existence.
['With hope so fragile, so quiet and scared, that it's already long shattered. The pieces digging into her soft hear like fiberglass, hurting, aching, Urisha doesn't want to take his hand.
She doesn't, but his hand is still held out, and his smile is so heartbreakingly gentle, so sincere, that Urisha can't help but grab onto it, with both of her hands, and squeeze, stumbling forward with wide eyes.
And, for the first time that she can really remember, someone catches her, pressing her close to their chest, arms wound tight, as though afraid she'd disappear, lips against her temple.
Urisha buries her nose in the crook of his neck, shoulders shaking as the first sob begins to make it's way out of her throat.
It's the first moment of the rest of her life, a new beginning, but, for the first hour or so, it feels so unbelievably unbearable that all Uri can bring herself to do is cry.']
So, when Fowler betrays her, and Feyre offers up an alliance, she thinks nothing of it, when he offers her protection, when he offers the Rook piece, she... Doesn't jump.
She stumbles.
She awkwardly accepts.
And... Going from unwanted to irreplaceable...?
It's a bit overwhelming.
[There's a viable AU where Uri ends up as Rias's Queen by the way, .]
As, I mentioned before, Katase [Yui] is the spur of the moment Reassurection, during her first day of her second year of Junior High, she gets involved in an accident that results in her death.
Expanding on this however, it ends up being a Supernatural based one instead of a mundane one, it involves a fight between Zyn and another Queen, the latter of which went Stray, (for a good reason to, doesn't justify the eating of small children though).
Fortunately however, Feyre is able to bring her back with one of his Pawns, and thus does the whole spiel, as, she's the only other one besides Hikari, (and even then, Hikari follows Wiccan traditions), who doesn't have a lead in to the Supernatural side of things, and she's Shinto by trade, so she's not exactly knowledgable about the Evangelist factions to begin with.
Afterwards, she becomes the groups secondary voice of reasons just after Ayaka, and the human based moral compass.
Yamashita was actually being scouted for Rias's Peerage before she unwittingly blew up a new apartment complex when she inadvertently awoke to her Sacred Gear, at which point, Sona considered her a liability, Rias was under the impression that she would have to seal the girl away like Gasper, and Minato already digging through rubble to get the girl out and to his Master.
She ultimately lost one of her eyes, but was largely okay.
To say she bounced when she found out that she wasn't crazy is a bit of an understatement.
Alongside Urisha, she's kind of the Oriax Peerage's collective younger sister.
Salem and Hydra came into Feyre's care around the same time, literally a week apart, with Salem being the one who pretty much demanded he turn her into his Pawn, and hounding him for six months before he finally agreed and caved to her demands. Salem was, is, an Arachne, a dying species of Spider Demon that has been pretty much hunted for their abilities for centuries.
Hydra was simply a ward who went through the old 'courting' practices of when Devil's took on other Supernatural Wards. They're also not a Hydra, but a demigod of Hecate, and very much involved with their extended family.
[They're shorter because I don't have their Backstories completely figured out beyond the fact that Hydra comes from a big family, and that Salem has some shades of the 'Promised Neverland' going on in her backstory.]
Annelise is a medium who grew up frail and sickly, and only traveled to Japan with her father for the fact that she was likely to end up marrying the son of one of her father's business partners, (she and Felix... Don't get along well), and ended up meeting Abe Kiyome instead, and revealing her talents to her.
What ensued was a very... Strange deal on Kiyome and Elise's end, where the latter would stay and study in Japan while making connections in Kuoh that her father would be able to put to use later in life.
She ended up in Feyre's Peerage on Kiyome's insistence after she spent several weeks in the hospital with a bad case of Pneumonia, as she was scared that her friend would die sooner rather than later, and Elise chose Feyre after hearing a conversation that painted Rias and Sona in a rather bad light at the time, (Rias referred to her Peerage as her possessions, especially Koneko, and Sona made a comment that highlighted her upbringing where she pretty much dismissed her entire Peerage's opinion on a certain matter, I'm not saying they're bad people, just that they have their bad habits), thus she kinda dove for the opportunity that got her away from them.
Yvel is the second son of one of Lord Beleth's Harem members, and serves as the reality check to Issei when it comes to how most Devil's actually view Harems as a whole. As in, while it's accepted, and even encouraged, the way most people will see it, Rias is the legal wife, one he may not even actually like all that much in the long run, and the rest are simply conquests, a testament to his power, and that they don't actually expect him to love and care for them as he does.
It's actually a couple of plot points, the first is where Lord Phenex recounts his blessing from Rhea Phenex and Esma Paimon when he comes to the conclusion that Rhea will not end up as his first, and only, legal wife, as, one, he believes it's a slight to his daughters honor, and he does love about his children, and because it pretty much discounts any deals they made over the marriage itself.
The second involves Issei learning about Kell, Maven, and Esall Gremory, Rias and Sirzechs half-siblings, who, while cared and provided for, have absolute no contact with their Heiress and the acting Lucifer, much less Grayfia and Millicas.
[It's canon that Zeoticus has a harem, he's been alive for millenia, I refuse to believe Rias and Sirzechs don't have at least one half-sibling running around.
Lord Phenex has one wife, and four children, with Ravel and her siblings being relatively close, so I don't think the age gap is horrendous. Something has to fucking take in five millenia, Jesus Christ.
By this, Sirzechs and Rias have a pair of older sisters who Zeoticus sired on a human Magician and show up from time to time.
This is not on Venelana's head either, Zeoticus just... Simply doesn't love his Harem members, he cares for them yes, in a roundabout way, but he feels no paternal connection to their children.]
The third and final involves Venessa Kamiris, who is believed to be useless as a bride prospect, and is typically viewed to end up as someone's forgotten Harem member, so when she ends up as a first, and only, wife to Nacht Zepar, things... Kind of spiral?
As opposed to Issei, who loves all of his Harem members equally, and plans to, quite literally, marry them all, making all of them his wives.
Anyway, due to his status, Yvel was treated horribly by Lady Beleth, so when he got a chance to get away from the household he did, and took up the offer in which Feurenhad spread about another Pawn had been freed.
Lastly, Sasaki Yukito... Well he showed up.
Okay, so, to expand, Yukito is rather prodigious with Memory based spells, so, in an effort to gain 'Political Sanctuary' he made it seem as though he was simply a Magician with magical talent that Feyre Had recruited into his Peerage at some point.
He did, eventually, come clean and admit to his lies, and officially joined the Peerage though.
...and that's the Oriax Peerage!
Sorry if it didn't really make any sense, but I hoped you liked my rambling.
Thanks for asking this question, I, uh, as you can see, really liked answering it.

Weird shit I do in my off time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I do Picrews, like, dozens and dozens of them.
Enjoy these.
Hikari created an animal feature spell about two months before canon, and decided to do a prank video where everyone just showed up to a meeting with Sona with them, (Koneko decided to opt for a lizard tail, oddly enough), to confuse the shit out of her. So that's Elise and Yvel on camera about to go off screen to get thw scolding of their lives.
Mikazuki x Zyndra Hogwarts AU, Mika as the temperament Slytherin failure, and Zyn as the hesitant Gryffindor prodigy.
Mikazuki and Feyre, picture taken seconds after Feyre had his hair burnt off by a wayward spell. Mikazuki is pretending she did nothing wrong, and succeeding. The picture is being held by Tatsuki, Zyn, Yui, and Mika's daughter, as she shows it off to the Seiryuutei siblings, (who's parents resolutely burned every embarrassing picture they could get their hands on), with smugness.

Seventh Pawn - Annelise Cornelia Birsha Anathasia von Aldebrand (Elise) [Named for the fact that, once reincarnated, she tells Feyre to give her any name he wishes, so long as it's not overly complicated. He took that as a slight, although, in most settings, she's just... Elise.]
Eigth Pawn - Yvel Beleth

"...what's your favorite genre?"
Wantanabe turns to look at him like he's grown a second head, and, rather pointedly, poked his arm with the history textbook, as if to check if he was solid, real even, which, fair, Issei supposed that was the tamest reaction someone would have after you accused them of amassing a secret harem under the noses of the student body.
"Is this your an idea of an apology? Planning to take me out?" There's no accusations behind the words, no disgust or fear, not even resignment, and Wantanabe sounds the furthest from scandalized as one could probably get, if anything, he's genuinely curious.
Issei bites down the instinctive urge to shout out a loud denial, to flinch back and show palable disgust, and, instead, he shrugs, wetting his lips a bit before speaking, "Yeah, sort of, I guess, you're apart of the Newspaper Club, right? Is there, like, a book signing in town you wanna check out? I'd be willing to pay."
Wantanabe's mouth contorts into a weird half-smile-half-frown, and... Pokes him with the history textbook again. It almost startles a laugh out of him, if he was being completely honest with himself.
"Not particularly," he replied, after seemingly mulling it over for a few moments, "I wouldn't mind hanging out at the mall though, this weekend? Mika and Yui-chan have something to take care of out of town, and Okabe-senpai has a family thing then, so I'm pretty much free."
"Saturday?" Issei blatantly ignores the whispering behind them, the obvious glares, the low hisses and swooning.
"Saturday, yeah. Meet you in front of that bakery on the west end of the Entertainment district? The one with the bagels?" And then, Wantanabe gives a genuine smile, a little sharp around the edges, (and are those fangs?), but it practically lights up his whole face, and Issei suddenly finds him questioning why he didn't try to make it happen sooner.
[Months later, Issei will question if this offer of friendship was a way to butter him up for a chance at being apart of Feyre Oriax's peerage.]
(Months later, he won't really care, as he sees Uri's silent peace offering decorating his desk. The same way he wont care when Minato, Kiba, and Zyndra all join up to physically lift him off his feet for a bruising hug.
Things like that tend to matter a little less when you're caught up with getting to know people your determined to call family.)
#High School DXD#Highschool DXD#High School DXD Oriax Peerage#Oriax Peerage#High School DXD Zyndra Mandrake#High School DXD Hyoudou Issei#It should be noted that Sona and Feyre give Rias so much shit over not using and Alias.#And in turn Feyre gives Sona shit for not even attempting to change her first name.#Wantanabe Ryuunosuke is Zyn's alias. The offical story is that his moms russian.#In this story. Akeno doesn't go by Himejima on school files.#Because the principal clans have RESOURCES and they will very much cause a war to protect their pride.#On file and around school she's Tokunaga because she thought it was too good a joke to pass up.#Zyn is pretty much responsible for Issei when it comes to the more... delicate nusances of Devil Society.#Or rather how to keep yourself from physically kidnapping your found family and moving to a secluded island to live out your days in peace.#It should be mentioned this is a prevalent problem in Queen's as a whole. They're kinda slated to be mother hens.#Tsubaki is the Education Mama. Akeno is the BAMF. And Zyn is feral enough to tell Sirzechs to shove it.#It's much less prevalent in Diodora's Queen. But the moment she realizes that her bitch of a master can be taken down a peg? Ooh...#Guess who powerlevels to the point that she physically holds the man at knifepoint as he transfers his pieces to her.#Anyway. Issei and Zyn are friends!#I think I'm going to expand on why exactly Issei's so damn bitter over Zyn's relationship with both Yui and Mika at some point.#It's not obvious here mostly due to the fact that Issei is actively trying to think about other things.#Akeno Tsubaki and Mikazuki bond over shitty relatives.

Again, no self control...
Although, I can say that this is a very different obsession!
I've recently gotten sucked back into High School DxD, and it's lore, (stop side eyeing me, it's the truth!), has always been rather fascinating, so, like the idiot I am, I decided to insert a third Peerage into Kuoh who, I can confirm, only has three OC's at the moment!
First off, of course, are the introduction of the canon characters.
The two pawns of the Peerage, at the moment anyway, (I'm still gathering together a mixture of OC's, and maybe canon for the rest), are Murayama (Ayaka) and Katase (Yui)!
By that, the third canon character is Hanakai Momo, by virtue of a requested exchange on her behalf shortly before Issei gets killed by Raynare and is resurrected by Rias.
Why did I choose these characters?
Why because they never become important beyond superficial personality traits, (i.e. hatred of perverts, and a relatively kind disposition), positions within school, (Kendo Club members, and apart of the student council/one of Sona's Bishop's), and Goddamnitt I am not an all encompassing well of ideas!
Plus it gives a concrete connection to Sona, and a reason to keep an eye on Issei if for no other reason than to make sure he and his friends don't go farther than just looking.
The OC's by comparison, are a bit more complex.
The King of the Oriax Peerage, is Feyre Oriax, (known as Okabe Kin on school records and to others beyond the Devil's and several humans in the know), the only heir to the Oriax Family, and known member of said Family beyond his younger twins sisters, (Acier and Argent Oraix), his father, (Aeris Oraix), and the woman who gave birth to him, (Ferro Oraix, Aeris's maternal cousin, and thankfully deceased, she was a very... Stringent supporter of the Old Satan faction), and the twins mother and the woman he considers his mother, (Luvenis Phenex).
He heads the Newspaper Club as it's president, and is known as only accepting... Incredibly weird individuals, or Momo, and is currently scouting Kiryuu Aika, and a first year by the name of Takagawa Hikari, (the latter if which possessing an unknown Sacred Gear).
The second OC is Feyre's first Bishop, and overall servant, Kobashigawa Mikazuki, originally the Heiress to a well known clan of magic practitioners, she was stripped of her title when, after being labeled 'Useless' for her lack of Magical Talent, (and her parents deaths), and falling deathly sick in her youth, [which may, or may not, be the result of her grandmother trying to get rid of competition for her favored grandchild, Takuma], and was kept in a hospital for several days only to be captured and used as a hostage by a passing Stray Devil...
That fell through pretty quickly, realizing that she had no one willing to pay ransom, or consider her life. Period. So they slit her throat, and threw her at the nearest Devil Child in order to traumatize them.
Lucky for her, that passing Devil Child happened to be Feyre, and was on his way back from discussing whether or not his cousin Ravel, (of sorts, I suppose), would be willing to become his Bishop.
Cue panicky eight year old hovering over the corpse of a six year old, and... Some helpful encouragement by way of... Lady Phenex telling him to seize the moment, and boom! Mikazuki is now the Bishop of the Oriax peerage. And undergoing therapy.
The last, but not least, is the Queen of Oraix Peerage, (and reluctant tutor), Zyndra Mandrake, [Wantanabe Ryuunosuke around Kuoh], a Descendant of the Dragon currently sealed away in the Sacred Gear known simply as 'Libelle', which he currently possesses.
Found starving in an alleyway a year or so after her Resurrection, Mikazuki took him under her wing, and brought him back to Oraix residence, where, in a completely unprovoked manner, (he had been all smiles up until Feyre tried to hug Mikazuki), he tried to tear out Feyre's jugular.
The ensuing fist fight, to this day, still makes Mikazuki want to punch them.
I'm still working on the bit where Zyn agreed to be Feyre's Queen, which was when they were both eleven, Mikazuki was nine, so far, I know it involves drowning.
...anyway, that's the Oriax peerage so far. Hope you liked them!

Note
do they all relatively get along within the oriax peerage and also. u mentioned that rias and sona have bad habits ( true ) so what kind does feyre have? i got a lil lost through the post but i found my way by the time i got to the end
The Peerage members definitely have their personal favorites amongst one another, what with several paired up romantically, I'll get a full relationship chart out at some point, when I've got the time.
But the major factor here is, mostly, that everyone is on relatively friendly terms with Feyre at the time of canon, excluding Urisha, who's still very... New to the whole 'Friendship' thing.
Feyre tries to keep these relationships up as best he can, and he tries to treat all of his Peerage members equally, but if pressed, he will freely admit he's closest to Zyndra, Ayaka, and Mikazuki. This is actually something I did kind of pick up from canon, as it's pretty obvious that this is the general rule for anyone smart enough to pick up on social cues.
Treat the servants nicely, and you might not end up brutally murdered during the inevitable revolution.
[Sona's far more left in morals on this then Rias and Feyre, the latter two genuinely saw their Peerages as their chosen family from day one, Sona treated Tsubaki like a human being because it was practical. If she was free from the burns of sociality, the first few years of Tsubaki's life as her servant would have been very lonely, and very boring. That isn't to say she doesn't care about her, she just has much less human reservations over her friends.]
(By that, an interesting tidbit about Diodora in this is that despite his relationship with the rest of his Peerage being relatively decent here, he would very much sacrifice one half over the other, and he does hold Ariell, Mirai, and Shirou to a higher standard to the rest of them.
So yeah, Diodora has a Dysfunctional Family thing going on with those three. Mirai is the father for reference. And he's NBD!Rei levels of strange. He's also the youngest member of the Peerage by leaps and bounds, Shirou is half-Youkai via his father so he's much older than the eighteen he appears to be.)
At the start of canon, Uri is actually closest with Koneko over her fellow Peerage members and Master.
The couples in the Peerage are actually pretty clear cut.
Ayaka and Feyre are actively courting one another, and plan to marry once shortly after Ayaka graduates so that her claim to title of Lady Oriax can remain unchallenged. Feyre is simply uninterested in anyone other than Ayaka, romantically at least, and Ayaka does not have the temperament to manage a harem she herself is not romantically invested in.
Yui, Mikazuki, and Zyndra are all equally devoted to one another, and are currently trying to coax a hesitant Minato into the fold, (featuring wingmen Hyoudou Issei, Toujou Koneko, and a confused Utsushimi Ikuo. Seriously, this situation could be a fic unto itself).
Yuuki and Akio have, for the most part, devoted their lives to protecting each other, and their chosen family. Neither have children by the time the Issei/Vali's children start fucking with the timeline, so it's kind of irrelevant.
Kiyome, Yvel, and Elise are dancing around each other like some demented Dramady Opera.
Finally, Momo retains her canon attraction to Saji, although she does have a bit less patience with him this go around. Uri entertains a crush on both her and Feyre for quite sometime as well, although Feyre's tends to trail towards the fact that she can recognize the fact that he's, objectively speaking, physically attractive.
The rest are largely undecided.
------------------------------------------------
Feyre's flaws.
To start off, a shared trait that his entire family tends to indulge in is, well, outplaying themselves. The Oriax family is nose deep in Underworld and foreign politics, and the thing about the Oriax family of the last two generations is that they've made a habit of making moves that tend to... Spiral.
The last, notable, Gambit Pile-Up nearly ended with Feyre being labeled as a illegitimate heir of Zepar, (and Venessa Kamiris's missing half-brother, which has, essentially, scarred the poor girl, Hadrian's parting action to his sister was to set her bed on fucking fire), a near accusation of grand treason on the behalf of Lady Luvenis Oriax, and Feyre's older brother, Aurum, being the secret mastermind behind an incident involving a societal ball with the Greek Pantheon and a spiked punch bowl.
Anyway, yeah... Feyre has something of a complexity problem when it comes to politics involving his family.
Secondly, Feyre has a very static view of relationships.
He's incredibly trusting, and while this can be a boon in certain situations, such as the recruitment of Urisha and Minato, it's also largely a weakness of his. The situation with Yukito could have gone very south very quickly if he had been a little more inclined to secure his political standing, (A.K.A. find a way to permanently replace Feyre himself)
And by static, I mean Feyre was largely raised by a father who thought that his incredibly abusive family members were perfectly normal members of society, and thus encouraged a near suicidal level of forgiveness in Feyre to the point that Urisha could outright try to kill him, go rogue al-la Sasuke, and become an unreputant Monster and Feyre would still be her main ally.
The boy has very leniant boundaries, and it's rather sad.
[Also, Uri is going to do some shit but she's not going rogue.]
By that, via growing into his own boundaries I suppose those he sees as enemies from the get-go have no chance of redemption.
(Diodora has gotten away with quite a bit of murder concerning Feyre.)
Ayaka isn't aware of how bad this aspect of his just yet, but she's going to host a collective intervention once she does.
...er, I hoped that answered your question?
