Hey, it's me again with "What if Riot cared?" And I have a suggestion for a character that Riot seems to forget. Now, TLDR of Syndra's lore is that "Everyone in my life has other treated me like shit or actively tried to make my magic weaker, so fuck you all, I'm tearing a castle out of the ground and flying away."

Now, one of Syndra's things is that her magic is powered by her negative emotions, and given that when she cut loose the spirit of Ionia had to step in to stop her, she's got a lot.

Anyway, I'll cut to the chase. Karma is an ancient Ionian spirit whose entire powers are seemingly based around balance, trained restraint and inner peace. I think there's a parallel there, something about restrained calm versus unleashed negativity. I don't know, am I making any sense?

jk but yes, you do make sense. And its incredible how much attention Riot puts to Ionia yet sleeps on things like these, overall because both champions arent that popular.

Being quite honest and throwing a random opinion, i think Karma would've done better as sentinel of light, and Syndra as the ruined one, just to exploit more all you just said. It would make it sensical, and it would explore more and make shine brighter those exact qualities, Karma trying to empower balance and spirituality with calmness and light, as Syndra destroys everything being corrupted by wanting even more power and provoking mayhem.

Do you have any other ships aside from the ones usually in your comics and main universe that you like? As if only with the main group? I am curious to know your opinion

I-I mean…yeah! I do…of course I do..!

The main group accumulates MOST of the ships I have including others champions. I guess Kayn is the biggest victim of that, his character is very versatile and fun to throw him into many situations.

But if you curious to know about lesser known LOL pairings I like that doesn’t include them, I have:

M/F: Jinx x Ekko, Ez x Lux, Sona x Jhin, Sona x Hwei, Syndra x Zed, Teemo x Tristana

it's shen x zed, adding the disclaimer i absolutely do not see their relationship as familial at all; childhood best friends, certainly, but not adoptive brothers (i could write an essay about how i don't think that's what it comes across even in the comic and how they were not really raised as siblings despite what kusho represents to both of them but that's!! not what i should be talking about so i'll leave it here). of course, i'm absolutely still wiling to write it as a purely platonic relationship.

honestly other than that i'm always always open to exploring things rp can result in unexpected but really fun pairings so!! it's not at all the only thing i'd be willing to write.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

i don't really have a problem with big age gaps as long as the two characters are adults and met as adults.

hmmm it really depends on the content? honestly i just prefer to be on the safe side and tag things as nsfw even when it's mostly suggestive?

more or less. i need to feel comfortable with the other writer and there's gotta be chemistry/make sense for my muse. but i'm also very open to plotting romantic relationships rather than just going with the flow, especially if we're friends, so like? not that selective? i'll be very honest i think romance is SO much fun to explore in writing, i love shipping idc i'm cringe but i'm free

hmmmmm lesseee..... i'm? honestly? not sure? zed is difficult. i think karma could have interesting potential. i know syndra is a fan favorite, and i can kinda see it even if, well, it's not my favorite (i think they deserve to be frens instead tbh....). funny that i listed two women when i've spent days arguing for 'zed big gay' but ajfaisudfhasiuf i really don't actually have other ships so i'm just. trying to give an answer here i guess

not necessarily, although openly suggesting you're interested in shipping is actually nice for me because even when i can see it i'm often like oh i don't wanna come across as pushing for that even if it makes sense for how this interaction is going so like. asking is not necessary, it can happen naturally, but i am 100% fine with someone asking as long as they're also fine with the possibility i'll say no, and talking about it actually makes me far less anxious

I would love to see headcanons for Zed x Syndra, please! They are my absolute favorite ship, a lot of new lore has come out for them. Thank you!

Aawww thanks for requesting them! They’re one of my favorite league shippings, I didn’t know they posted more lore for them, thanks for the heads up!

Ok, imagine a couple with trusting issues at first? It’s they, Zed is emotionally unstable with strong emotions and Syndra refuses to be controlled or manipulated by any person, took them a while to set down and just understand they can rely on each other without betrayal involved. 

Zed is a bit more serious and would not show much affection but Syndra knows him better, especially when he goes hiding his embarrassed face with his mas. 

She’d always hug him from behind, chuckling gently as she kisses her shoulder, cheek, and whispering sweet things until the shadow master just relaxes and start to show some affection back as gently rub circles on her hands, picking and kissing it as well. 

Believe it or not but they’d bicker about cuddling, about who would be the big and little spoon, Syndra usually is big because Zed finds it adorable her feeling all-powerful. 

Zed will surprise kiss Syndra with his shadow sometimes, double kisses can happen between other things as well.
