that part in the zed comic where they're about to go after akali and shen is all like she was my favorite student very she's like a daughter to me and when zed says he understands shen is immediately no you don't
i think about that a lot... because zed most certainly does understand. he has a student he loves as if he was his son. said student has put himself in danger with rash decisions, despite being very capable of looking after himself.
constantly thinking about how people, even shen who was his boyfriend closest friend, are so dismissive of the idea he actually genuinely cares for anyone. thinking about zed being equally disbelieving when it comes to anyone caring about him.
#it's the way he tells kayn 'well you could've really betrayed me' and kayn is shocked and all 'master zed i would never'#but it isn't about not trusting kayn!!!!#it's about not expecting anyone to be entirely loyal to him.#it's about not expecting anyone to care for him irrevocably.#crying#he just like me fr#» out of character — ⌜main sup irl.⌟#» character study — ⌜the shadows have enlightened me.⌟

"How many times are you going to ask me about joining this little... club--" Yasuo leans against a nearby tree trunk, eyeing the assassin with a quirked brow. This was maybe the third time this month he's been hounded about it...
Kayn, of course, is perched on the bough of a tree, toes gripping the bark and knees bent, his braid hanging below his makeshift seat, the blade of his scythe like an underline for his entire form. "The Shadow Order is not a club," he says, peeved at the choice of words, like it's just a gathering of kids playing pretend. "And you would do well to mind your tongue, lest you get on my Master's bad side."
Though, that's the issue, isn't it? Zed keeps tabs on Yasuo despite the sarcasm and vitriol he gets in return, and Kayn can't figure out what draws his Master to this particular man. Sure, Kayn has heard tales of his prowess with a sword, but every time he investigates himself, all he finds is a man who smells like liquor and appears to offer little more than rude retorts.
No, he's not quite sure of the appeal. But if Master Zed wants him in the Order, Kayn's happy to do the dirty work. "I'll ask until you see reason, wanderer. I'd think that someone such as yourself would understand the importance of our mission."

Hey! Is it alright if I ask for aftercare hcs for the league bois for fem reader??? (Thresh, zed,Kayn Aatrox maybe?)
Also I love your stories plz keep up the good work, I read them after some ranked matches sometimes.
✦–Aftercare headcanons.✦ (NSFW)
✦How do they care about you (or not /jk) after sex.
✧ prompt: ✧ aftercare headcanons preceded with some sex scenes.
✧ champions: ✧ Aatrox, the Darkin Blade; Kayn, the Shadow Reaper; Thresh, the Chain Warden; Zed, the Master of Shadows.
✧ reader: ✧ female.
✧ author’s note: ✧ I’m not dead, although I am not promising anything - totally not staying here for long. I might just reappear sometime and then vanish again. But I’m reading all your request and thinking of them, promise. Don’t ever stop sending them <3.
masterlist
✦Aatrox, the Darkin Blade.
The World Ender is not a person to be underestimated in any circumstances. He is the antonym of the word “gentle”, both on the battlefield and privately. And there is no exception for you, his fucktoy. You are a mere human; of course someone - or something - as powerful as the Darkin would not have mercy for you. After fucking you disdainfully, listening to your woeful cries and moans, which were making the experience even better, Aatrox usually leaves you to take care of himself. But before vanishing, in an act of pity, he seldom leaves you with something - something only from him, a kind of gift. Like a souvenir: a burn, a claw mark or a cut. And that’s his “aftercare” - making you remember him. What’s even more rare - him letting you rest beside him a bit, absorbing the heat that beams from his inner rage. The World Ender is indeed warm, but only physically; he wouldn’t let you bond with him, as he has to continue with his purpose - to destroy everything.
✦Kayn, the Shadow Reaper.
Surprisingly, Kayn is a very talkative person during sex. And totally a loud one. This man has no shame, especially when it comes to begging you to ride his face or to get the chance to burry his nose and lips in your vagina. The successor of the Shadow Order is eager, although he tires quickly - his youth prevents him from going on for multiple rounds with you. But Kayn doesn’t mind you using him for your own pleasure and this always ends up with him beneath you, panting from overstimulation yet grinning at you widely. Because of that - that he doesn’t mind being the bottom - it isn’t rare when you are the one to tenderly kiss him after making him cum multiple times. You whisper sweet, praising words into Kayn’s ear, while his numb hands slide on your body, circling around his favourite parts of it. And it’s not like the Shadow Reaper can’t do aftercare or be the dominant one - of ourse not. He tends to be clumsy, but in the end - responsible for sure; whenever he finishes with enough strenght, he gladly carries you into a bathtub, joining you in the warm waters. But, in the end… He just enjoys you pampering him.
✦Thresh, the Chain Warden.
Every time you get intimate with the infmaous, greedy and definitely ominous keeper of the Shadow Isles, it involves chains. Of course it does. He is not the perilous Chain Warden for no reason. Every time he puts his clawed, metal-chased hands on you, slowly making himself comfortable on your tantalizing body, you end up chained to a wall or a bed, left at his mercy to toy with you. But whenever you are the one to initiate sex, both of you eventually find yourselves bounded to each other, metaphorically and physically. Either way Thresh’s stamina and durability are way higher than yours - thanks to the magical alterations he has overcome - so after making you cum and pleasing himself inside of you, he is less tired than you. Thanks to that, the Chain Warden is always the one to take care of you. He always starts with removing all the ropes or chains, gently and conscientiously, and treating the bruises that they left. He lets you rest and not even lift a finger, because he takes care of everything. But Thresh certainly takes his time with it, cleaning and wipping off every sticky liquid that might have end up between your legs. After all, he is a caring lover, making sure that aftercare is nothing of your concern; Thresh takes pleasure from having control in his own hands. And whenever you act possessive during foreplay, pretending like you try to reject him or turn off, he gladly chains you to a bed, only to leave you like this for hours.
✦Zed, the Master of Shadows.
Oh, how your Master enjoys taking you from behind. Having your ass bouncing before him, balls deep and with the chance of pulling your hair, just to hear your rapid moans. Zed doesn’t let you rest; he is a busy man and he often acts like there was no time left during sex - ever moment and every second he could be summoned for another emergency. That’s why his thrusts are always so desperate, aggresive, relentless. The Master of Shadows acknowledges that after sex you must be tired - he also is, although he would not admit that - that’s why he cleans himself right out, only to return and firlmy massage your back. It is kind of a characteristic trair of him - giving you a relaxing massages after sex, still covetously looking at your ass, probably thinking about the next time he will get the chance to fuck it without mercy. If you could read his mind, you would certainly think of Zed as overzelaous when it comes to fucking you, despite his age. And sometimes it actually comes out of him: while giving you the usual massage, your Master can’t stop himself; ignoring his own exhaustion, he enter you from the back once again, only to hear your surprised mewl. He lives for that sound. And he will fuck you as long as you squirm, moan and pant. Aftercare with Master Zed is almost as challenging as accompaning him on the battlefield.

Chimera Constantine breakdown, refs & nods mega-post
Welcome to the master post of behind the scenes for the Chimera Constantine comics. In the style of the Sons of Mars ones I made, this post archives our research and process. So here we go! This will be a mix of showing references and personal anecdotes for how we cobbled this project together.
I'll be repeating some things I've mentioned across blog posts because I like having all this info in one place.
So! There's a lot of ways to go about re-interpretation and re-imagining a story, and one of my techniques is to not get overly attached to research. While it's good to be informed about a character, sometimes knowing every little thing about them can make one hesitant to innovate and try something different with them. So I'm purposely mindful about how much material I research.
But how does something like that work when the character in question has only 2-3 total appearances, one arc, and a quick revisit several years later? We play twin telephone.
For this project, Cin read the Hellblazer Golden Boy arc and vaguely retold it to Jes, who would then write a story based on assumptions and half-remembered memories of the story. Letting personal experience, influences and bias fill the blanks. We're inspired by how Naoki Urusawa wrote Pluto based on his mis-remembered memories of reading Astro Boy. Also when I was a kid I used to look at book covers and summaries and make up a story based on the limited information I was given. It's fun for me. Part of why I love obscure characters so much is that the lack of content about them lets the reader fill in the blanks about their lives and try telling new stories about them that aren't constrained by a saturated canon.
The original Golden Boy arc written by Jamie Delano (#39-40) is about John Constantine coming to the realization that he strangled his twin in the womb. After taking some 'shrooms, John...manifests into another reality, it's very surreal. There, John meets his twin from a universe where John had died, and his brother gets to live. The twin (taking on the name John Constantine, we'll call him Golden Mage to keep it simple) is John's opposite in every better way. They decide to merge their souls to restore...the universe. You kind of had to be there.
John's twin returns many issues later (#249) to wrap up a different arc, there he and the story are written by Andy Diggle.
The first panel of our full comic references the tarot cards John gets from his reading with Zed.
This panel is a direct reference to this scene where John sees his own shadow on a curtain after his reading with Zed. I like the imagery of this arc, even when the dialogue describing twins is really cringe. We changed it to a mirror to reinforce the mirror imagery throughout the comic. Speaking of which...!
Through Jes' reworking of the story, mirrors were streamlined to be the main way alternate universes were portrayed in the story. They'd be the main motif that paralleled the twins too. In issue #249 of Hellblazer, John uses the mirror to confront his twin who resides within himself after their soul-merge years ago.
The line "He's so beautiful, he frightens me." is spoken by a doctor witnessing the Golden Boy's birth in his universe. We repurposed it to be John's dialogue for when he's describing the man he sees in the mirror.
John's twin uses a sacrifice involving these candles to summon his sickly twin. Jes repurposed the use of candles to a magic salt circle that contains spirits like the Golden Boy (he's nicknamed "Goldie" in our take).
The Golden Boy! Even though he died in the womb, he's portrayed as a boy. Probably because a floating fetus wasn't what they were going for. We wanted to give him a distinct look that foreshadows how much he would grow his hair out. I like that his mouth isn't visible! We use the shape of his eyes and posing to get across how he's feeling. It gives him a vacant-toddler-stare I find really endearing.
We made some minor adjustments to the Golden Mage's design. Initially, we followed his canonical pulled back long hair. But since he was a challenging character to emote when we had one less arm to work with, we decided to part his hair so that it could carry how he's feeling. I like when I can get it to cover a part of his face for intense moments! If it was animated, it would 100% be expressive Ghibli hair.
Our main goal for Golden Mage's characterization is to make him feel like his own person. In the original arc, he's less of a sibling and more of an au of John Constantine himself. He doesn't get his own name. Despite gloating about having a better and more fulfilling love life than John, he also shared the exact same love interests John does. Being a twin is less about a family story and more a vehicle to talk about self hatred and potential here. Which isn't fair to the individuality of the characters!
(note, this is not how the panels look in the og comic, I've rearranged them so that they display on this post better)
So we characterized the Golden Mage to still have his canon charisma (albeit with the dialogue toned way down from his original appearance), but to have a thinly veiled temper under all that bravado to foil his con-man trickster brother. The Golden Mage was vaguely described as not being particularly attached to the love he receives. Golden Mage is also dismissive of his womb twin's death, saying it's something he shouldn't grieve since he never really knew him. We reinterpreted these lines as him being in denial over his brother's death, thinking himself as above his own feelings of grief.
Also as a tiny note, we kept the Golden Mage's name ambiguous to keep with the vibe of the original comic, but in my mind I headcanon his full name to be Marigold "Goldie" Constantine. The yellow flower is culturally associated with prosperity, but also grief and jealousy. It's perfect for him! So we made references to the flower in the cover and first panels of the comic. I also headcanon that as a kid he called John Constantine's ghost "Johnny".
My influences for how this whole beginning meeting scene is staged and played out is E.M Carroll's When I Arrived At The Castle. The "animated" panels of Golden Mage looking back at John and breaking through the mirror is a direct call back to the keyhole sequence in that comic! The premise of daydreaming about how your life could have been and not realizing that you're staring at an alternate universe is loosely inspired by Junji Ito's Hellstar Remina. I really like the concept of staring into the unknown and then something sentient staring back from that. "What if our day dreams are just other realities we're dreaming of" kind of deal. I don't see that sort of thing in the saturation of multiverse stories these days.
Next reference is the Dead Boy's Heart! While I like that this story's its own thing, I was surprised it wasn't linked to John's dead brother in any way. It felt thematically relevant, so we brought it over as a device to trap Goldie while the brothers merge souls.
Twins can be positioned in a bunch of ways in the womb. I think canonically, John and Golden Mage were positioned like they are in the cover for Hellblazer #39, ideal for strangling I guess! We changed it to echo the motion of yin and yang. I do think the inclusion of yin and yang is a little cringey in the original comic even though I get what it's going for (balance and all that, it's just kind of simplistic to the philosophy). But I do like it as a way to echo card imagery we established in this comic. We combined the imagery of the tarot cards featured in the Golden Boy arc and King/Queen/Joker playing cards. So it felt right to bring back that whole upside down twins in the womb thing. Special fact, this is how my twin and I were vibing in the womb.
The scene where the twins hit Ctrl + E to merge layers! It's a pretty iconic pose! I like how their heads peaked out of the panels so I brought it back for our comic too. In our version, the twins fail to merge their souls entirely. In the revisit to the Golden Boy character in the comics in issue #249, it's revealed that the merging "failed" in some way, trapping the Golden Mage within John's soul.
For John's ghost counterpart from Golden Mage's universe we took Dave McKean's portrayal of him very literally haha. I know he doesn't literally have one eye, but we thought it gave him a really distinct look for us to stylize. We decided to keep the ghost kids consistent with no mouth and vacant pupil-less stares. We gave ghost kid!John a sort of bedsheet ghost form to contrast against Goldie.
Speaking of one eye! That's another motif we decided to emphasize throughout the comic. It's not in the source material at all, but we liked it as a way to both hint at chimerism and visualize how the two brothers serve as incomplete halves of each other. Special fact! Heterochromia can show up in chimera twins. Of course in the case of identical twins like the Constantines, their chimerism isn't as detectable since they have identical sets of DNA. But! It's still fun to stylize in a supernatural way. For our take we show the glowing golden eye as the soul of the Golden Boy manifesting in his brother. I like to think that John takes advantage of how undetectable his chimerism is to have an upper hand in any soul-related deals he makes.
This stylized heterochromia is inspired by @ratblazer 's Constantine design! I made a subtle nod to it with young punk John's make up echoing the scar in her design too.
For John's dynamic with Goldie the Golden Boy, we built the conflict of the story around making him doubt his attachment to his dead brother. There's a line of dialogue in the revisited Golden Boy arc about John needing to "let go", so we repurposed it into the Golden Mage assuring him that his attachments make him weak.
Even though the Golden Boy doesn't show up nearly as much as I think he should in canon, John has been shown to be really sentimental about him. John wants to be the Golden Boy's friend because he's so beautiful John mistook him for Jesus as a kid. Canonically, the Golden Boy ghost rejects John's friendship, likely still not over the whole strangulation in the womb thing. It still breaks John's heart though, he's a sobbing mess about being owned by a dead kid.
We changed this whole dynamic! The twin murder in the womb felt very X-men Xavier vs Cassandra Nova, and it's hard to get behind babies having that much motivation before they're even born. In our version, Goldie is a vanishing twin absorbed by John, the sickly twin. Infants being accidentally strangled by umbilical cords does occur in reality. However, we changed their origin to being that of Vanishing Twin syndrome because it was more specific for the ideas we were going for.
I feel this crucial change is more in tune with the overall themes of Hellblazer. John always cheats death at a cost. People are constantly sacrificed for John's continued survival. But the Golden Boy's case would be special, because he sacrificed himself out of love before he even knew what it means to love. Unlike the other ghosts that haunt John Constantine, Goldie isn't resentful of John. I think it makes more sense for the Golden Boy to be attached to John because he's all the Golden Boy's ever known. As a chimera twin, John is like a horcrux holding his brother's soul in his body. This reaffirms survivor's guilt to be something John experiences since his birth.
Canonically, although the Golden Mage initially feels sorry for the ghost of John that haunts him, he rejects John as well. John's ghost in canon is like a nuisance that keeps bothering Golden Mage. There's an instance mentioned of Golden Mage trying to recreate his murder in the womb? It's cryptically written. But Golden Mage does keep using the phrase "banished" to describe his brother.
We took this and made it so that he performed an exorcism on himself to remove his supernatural chimera-bond to John's ghost. The Golden Boy arc is pretty unique when compared with how saturated multiverse stories are nowadays since it doesn't share the science fiction sensibilities. Grief comes up a lot in multiverse stuff, in these stories characters use parallel universes to save a loved one as they're bargaining with their loss. For our take, we wanted a character to use the alternate universes to hurt and lash out at the loved one they're grieving. I pulled influence from Everything Everywhere All At Once's concept of a self destructive character on a search for the one familial connection who could understand what they're feeling.
References! The first panel is a nod to issue #36 where John is sleeping with Marj. We changed her to Kit. The second panel is a direct callback to issue #67, an iconic visual for his break up angst era.
Trivia; this page was added at the last minute! I needed something to bridge the birthday cupcake page and the final panel of Golden Mage's breakdown, so I linked them through candles! In this weird case, I reference my own work! This is a callback to Birthdays, a short comic we made for John Constantine's canonical birthday. It sets the premise for his relationship with Goldie based on the habits and experiences of survivor twins. The pages referencing this comic are meant to re-establish that John shares meals with his twin.
I wanted this page to feel like John's lighting an incense for his dead brother, and to contrast it with the snuffed out candles from Golden Mage's flashback. The candle has a yellow and blue intertwined spiral pattern that calls back to the color of John and Golden mage's dialogue boxes and speech bubbles, along with how twisted they look when they merged. Implying that in this universe, they're together in some way. I really wish I did this intentionally but it was by complete coincidence of making the cupcake pink and balancing it out with pastel primaries. But I sure can acknowledge how cool it looks symbolically okay???
The dialogue here is a nod to John's monologue in issue #19 where John is comforting Simon Hughes. It's re-contextualized a bit to be about sharing grief together in our comic.
This is a really goofy one but- since Golden Mage is supposed to be the fully realized potential of John, we thought that he would have a successful career as a musician and singer where John didn't. I don't think Golden Mage would be a punk singer though, he probably does something he'd consider more elevated.
BUT-! In the 30th Anniversary edition of Hellblazer, Sting (the guy John's appearance is based on) wrote an introduction for the edition while roleplaying as the Golden Boy. Which is nuts. The Anniversary edition basically canonized Sting as being a Constantine variant in our universe with the soul of Golden Boy. Sting, as Golden Boy, describes himself as a musician and singer too. Absolutely bonkers for Sting to throw me a bone this late in the game since no one's touched this character in ages.
Another E.M Carroll influenced panel sequence. This is from the digital comic Out of Skin.
So that brings us to the end of the comic! We've had the ideas for this comic cooking for some time, and it's people's continued interest in our takes on these characters that gave us the chance to finally bring the story together.
I'm very fascinated by the Golden Boy story, not because it's particularly strong compared to other stories in Hellblazer's run, but because its intriguing premise is bogged down by its surreal take on typical Evil Twin tropes. og Hellblazer's strength was always in its raw humanity. John Constantine's character countered the sensational spectacle of his superhero contemporaries. He may be able to outwit a vampire but he's can't fight back against being brutalized by the police. In one of his most iconic arcs, he finds out he has cancer- not because of any supernatural shenanigans, but because he literally smokes too much. In another arc, John's long time girlfriend breaks up with him, and he lashes out by saying the cruelest things to her. When he hears that his abusive dad is murdered, John still cries about it.
I think the Golden Boy arc and the retcon that followed his brief return actively undermines what makes Hellblazer special. Suddenly John's having X-Men-level evil twin escapades in the womb. Suddenly, merging with his twin will help save the universe. Suddenly, it's not smoking that caused John to have cancer! It was actually because he merged with his twin and his twin became the cancer from inside him! Suddenly it wasn't a moment of lashing out that caused John to say all those cruel things to his ex upon their break up, that was actually the Golden Boy controlling him from within, so you see it's not really his fault! Also what followed the break up was extra devastating because of the Golden Boy, somehow.
Often I hear in fandom that when you change a character too much from their canon counterpart it's basically "just an oc" at that point, but in the case of characters who get to be re-imagined and passed through many creative teams, I think that kind of mindset is deeply limiting for transformative work. The line I draw between "just an oc" and an interpretation is if the changes involved engage with their source material in any way or if they're just superficial. Big changes and 180 flips can work because they still respond to the history of said character. It's why we see that kind of thing in canon a lot. These characters are inherently built to be passed through many hands in meaningful ways to varying degrees of success. So I hope that by showing all this process that goes behind big changes to a canon character, people better understand what can go into transformative creativity.
Our thesis for this re-imagining is to take what makes Hellblazer special and re-examine the arc that we felt undermined that. Despite the grief John has for many characters in his cast, mourning isn't brought up at all in the Golden Boy arc. It's dismissed by the characters in narration, and the Golden Mage himself isn't even recognized as a sibling by the narrative, no matter how many times John calls him "bro".
Survivor twin grief over dead womb twins especially is a real thing that's often dismissed because in the words of canon Golden Mage himself "I couldn't mourn for those I'd never known". This is not true to the experience of twins. They play with and remember each other from spending 9 months growing in a tight space together. So when one of them doesn't make it out with the other, that survivor feels a grief they can't comprehend. It can manifest in unresolved trauma, commitment issues, and survivor's guilt. All things that feel so relevant to the themes of John Constantine's character. I think that by integrating the real lived experiences of survivor twins, the Golden Boy arc could've been one the most human and personal parts of the original Hellblazer run. It's could've been a story that helped a community of people so rarely validated in their grief feel seen.

Shadow Line AU
An AU based on Shadow Line from Ressha Sentai ToQger, especially Emperor Zed Actually it's basically only him
Ingo and Emmet are emperors of darkness and the head of Shadow Line. Their prime objective was extending their territory of darkness, making stations of their Shadow Line
But one day, they find a sparkling light shining in darkness. So sparkly that it stole their heart. Since then, they started prefering light over darkness. They stopped extending darkness and went out to find the sparkles
More context of AU
Ingo and Emmet's current objective is to find more sparkles
They like physical sparkles(basically shining lights or so) too, but they like non-physical sparkles more. These include positive emotions like joy, passion, friendship, and more
They love pokemon battles because doing so makes the opponent trainer release those non-physical sparkles. They love observing it
They made the battle subway because of that; to have battles and observe sparkles more
Since they are entities of darkness, Ingo and Emmet can't stand under the sun for more than 10 minutes. Light makes them weak
That's another reason why they made the battle subway; to avoid sunlight
They learned most common knowledge through Elesa
Their outfit is based on the sygna suit from Pokemon Masters EX, with some elements of Shadow Line and Emperor Zed
Let's hope they don't drift to the idea of stealing sparkles from other people

A/N: Have y'all heard 'Paranoia' yet? It's very good! I've been keeping it on repeat. Since the release of the song, I decided to post something LoL related. The motivation came back quite rapidly. I hope that y'all enjoy.
Pairing: Shieda Kayn x Reader
Summary: Kayn has grown sick and tired of having to protect you, Zed's child, and denies enjoying his job as a bodyguard.
CW: None
You walked through the path, ignoring the bodies that laid on it. Kayn didn’t fail to see the small smile on your face as he lowered his weapon. None of them had put up enough of a fight. “You seem to enjoy this,” he said. You remained quiet as you turned to look at him. That permanent smile was something that he wanted to wipe off your face. But he supposed that Zed’s orders hadn’t included that. It was just “get (Y/N) to the location safely and back.”
“It’s an easy job.” Sure, it was. It would be easy if he had sent anyone but you. You were a bane to his existence at every turn. Kayn couldn’t simply do as he pleased with you at his side. Yoru safety took priority over everything else.
“What do you mean?” you innocently asked him. His eyes trailed down to the dagger that hung from your hip. It wasn’t purely decoration. His Master hadn’t randomly gifted you a dagger. He knew that you could use it and that you could use it well. Yet, you always left it hanging by your side whenever Kayn traveled with you.
“You pretend to be weak,” he said. “(Y/N) is a weakling,” muttered Rhaast. Kayn’s eye twitched. Now wasn’t the time for the weapon to choose and talk. He wasn’t in the mood to deal with Rhaast being a nuisance.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you said calmly as you turned around to keep walking. Kayn picked up the pace to walk next to you. “I don’t fight, Kayn. You do. It’s really as simple as that. Do you really want little ol’ me getting hurt when I can barely swing a dagger? What would my father say?” Your words made his jaw clench. You loved playing the ‘father’ card with him.
“I’m sure that you’d never let something get that far,” he answered. In a real situation that called for it, he believed that you could do some damage with the dagger.
“You’re right, I suppose,” you said. He felt an ounce of satisfaction to hear you admit that you were smarter than you let on. “But I guess that I’d just ask you to deal with it since I never go anywhere without you trailing behind me.” The satisfaction died as quickly as it came and your smile was as wide as ever.
“What if I left you on your own when you went on missions?” he asked. He wondered if you ever considered how easy it would be to just abandon you. If you knew how he could just slip into the shadows and leave you to fend for yourself. He’d considered it more heavily today considering how you’d been pushing his buttons all day. You hadn’t lifted a single finger at all. Even as you nearly got hurt, you’d simply stepped to the side and let him create all the carnage. You were entirely at his mercy at all times because of the act you put on. The smile on your face faded and once more, his satisfaction returned. You slowed down a little as you thought.
“Oh, then I wouldn’t be able to go anywhere,” you answered. Kayn would never admit it, but the answer filled him with gratification. You were reliant on him. You needed him to be able to travel and do things on ‘your own’. Without him, Zed would never let you leave. You then shrugged and the smile returned. “For a while, at least. I suppose I’d have to ask Father to find someone else to guard me.” Though you said it so sweetly, he knew that your words were honest to an extent. You were willing to do anything to annoy him.
“You wouldn’t,” he said. You looked at him. The malice in your smile was new. He could see the idea becoming more real by the minute.
“Who says, Kayn? I’m sure that if I said that I needed a new bodyguard, a whole line would form of other men that have been waiting for the day that you choose to leave this post and replace you,” you taunted. He could already see the line of men just waiting to pounce on the chance of spending time with you. He was aware that so many of them were counting on the day that he’d given up on escorting you. The thought was revolting. “Besides, I don’t know why you act like you don’t enjoy this.”
“You’re annoying, (Y/N).” He hated that you were right. He did enjoy it to a degree. Every time that the two of you went anywhere, there was a high chance that you’d encounter some form of danger that let him swing his weapon around. You gave him free reign in that matter and look at him, complaining about it.
“There’s no need to hide, Kayn. I know that you love my helplessness in battle. You love being able to swing around that talking weapon of yours,” you said.
“I don’t enjoy it,” he said. He had to salvage some degree of dignity.
“Too bad,” you said. “You’ve always been my favorite bodyguard. But if you truly hate this job so much, I’ll ask Father to find someone new to travel with me.” Kayn stopped walking, but you kept going. Your audacity knew no bounds to the extent of feeling so sure to threaten him with something like that. To prevent you from walking away, Kayn grabbed your arm and pulled you towards him. Both of your faces were so close that your noses could touch.
“Do you really think your threats scare me?” he asked. “You need me more than you think. Anyone else would leave you in constant danger. I’m the only bodyguard worth having.” He got more frustrated. Did you not realize what he was capable of? He was better than the others. Zed would never give the job to anyone else. You seemed so pleased with his words that he realized that he’d fallen into your trap.
“So you do admit to enjoying this job,” you said. He abruptly let go of you. “I always knew you did, Kayn.”
You kept walking ahead and left him behind as he mulled over your words. How was it that you always got the upperhand over him?“Maybe if you worried less about your favorite,” said Rhaast. “We’d get more done.”
“Shut up, Rhaast,” he said.

base verse zed is kayn's dad for all intents and purposes even if they don't call each other that but modern verse zed is his actual dad officially the boy was adopted and i also think modern verse zed is a lot better at that and communicating and making sure kayn knows he's loved and that his dad is proud of him and having fun together and grounding him sometimes when he's being a pest but you know a lot more openly affectionate than base verse i think

Just saw ur lovely request are open once again, but I want to see some headcanons between zed and maynard when you- a former mercenary that left the war- comes back to check on the team- only to be terrified and creeped out by the surroundings.
And upon exploring inside- you find yourself to get lost upon the building..and when you saw a resemblance of your old teammate; engineer you couldn't help but be relieved..in a hurry you went over to him- and began to ramble and talk to him in worry..however you noticed something was off by the way he acts..he doesn't seem to know you..he seems surprised.. and when you call him dell- he even chuckles as if he finds it funny..
He offers you to go somewhere else- saying it's not safe- being lost and naive- you follow- making him actually lead you deeper inside.
You used to work here- why did this place suddenly became complex for you to wander around?
But then suddenly an another engineer appears and you panicked, raising your only weapon up towards them, but the engineer beside you stops you- taking the gun away from you.
You became confused- telling him there's an enemy right in front of you and he just laughs. You hear the supposed enemy engineer ask who you are- calling the engineer you first met- maynard and you became more confused and panicked as you realizes that this guy wasn't the same engineer you worked with.. and well.. this rambling could go even further with them trapping you inside the conagher slaughter house.
I 100% forgot you wanted this "headcanons" style, and drafted the entire oneshot before I Realized. I hope that's alright with you! Thank you so much for the request, I really hope you enjoy.

"The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved." (Jeremiah 8:20)
"Even blood washes out, or you can fill your mouth with things that hide the taste." Sophie MacKintosh, Excerpt from "Cursed Bread"
You thought you knew your way around this place; you'd been around these parts plenty of times before. Sure, some years had passed, but that didn't explain how utterly lost you felt wandering Dustbowl. You ditched the war ages ago to find your own way in life, and you were content with that. It wasn't until recently that you decided you wanted to catch up with your closest friend from your time serving, Dell.
As a Sniper, you didn't interact much with the Engineer, but it wasn't your time on the battlefield you remembered fondly. It was his warmth and kindness at the end of the day, how excited you would get meeting up with him and the rest of the team for breakfast every day, despite knowing the grim work in store for you later in the day, and all the other moments of levity during such a dark time in your life. He was a good man, much too good to be stuck fighting the war.
The flashlight's beam did little to cut through the intense darkness overhead, and you could tell rain was due any minute now. You expected navigation would be tricky, but this was absolutely futile. The longer you wandered, the more your brain fog intensified, making you feel like a small child lost in the dark looking for their mother, jumping at shadows and fearing the sound of wind whipping overhead was the voices of ghosts.
Mindlessly, you fiddled with the strap securing your rifle to your body. Passing by a reflective window, you did a double take, catching your reflection. Looking down, you realized you were in your old Sniper's uniform. You could've sworn you came here dressed in civilian clothes when you departed, but frustratingly, you couldn't remember for sure.
In the distance, thunder rumbled, the storm was closing in, and you needed to find your way to proper shelter. Feeling a light rain against your face, you picked up the pace, trying to find any signs of life nearby, and to your immense relief, after rounding what felt like the hundredth nondescript dark corner, you spotted a light on, and could just make out the blurry details of Dell's old workshop. Running closer, you smiled, seeing the silhouette of someone inside tinkering away. It just had to be Dell!
As you sped closer and got a better look at the workshop, annoyed slightly by the fogged glass obscuring your vision keeping you from seeing inside, but you were too excited to see him again to care much.
Knocking on the door, you yelled, "Dell, open up!"
Watching a silhouette draw closer to the door, you were confused as he stalled for a moment, "Dell, will you let me in! It's freezing out here!"
The door creaked open, and Dell stood stiffly, without hesitating; you wrapped both arms around him, hugging as close as you could, almost sobbing with happiness after finally finding a familiar face around here.
"It's good to see you again! I missed you so much!"
Awkwardly, he patted your back and returned the hug before pulling away, staring at you with an almost blank look. "Sniper?"
Forcing a smile, you tried to ignore how uneasy he was acting, "C'mon Dell, it's me- we fought together for years. Don't tell me you've forgotten already?"
With an odd look on his face, he nodded, a strange smile spread across his face, "Course I remember ya, that's right- it's me, your ol' buddy Dell. It's been a while since I saw your face- whatcha doin' 'round here?"
He was acting weird, but it had been so long since he'd seen you face to face, and you didn't want to say anything. As he let you inside, you couldn't ignore the mess around the workshop. Dell could get buried in his work more than anyone you knew, but he was never so sloppy before. Beer cans littered tables, cigarettes piled over in ashtrays, and countless grease stains streaked across the tables and walls. You had to force yourself to keep from recoiling at the smell of stale air and debris. Seeing your old comrade out of uniform was odd, even if he still dawned the hard hat and goggles. Did he get taller after the war? You wondered but didn't want to ask out loud.
He noticed your staring, even if you were too meek to say anything definitive. With a hearty laugh, he pulled you into a crushing bear hug, "Good to see ya again, partner. It's been awful quiet 'round these parts lately."
You wanted to pull up a chair and catch up, but you couldn't forget the nightmarish terrain you crossed to get here. Pushing away from the hug, biting your lower lip nervously, you spoke, "Dell, I think something's up. We gotta get out of here."
Dell didn't seem to notice how bleak things were outside his shop. "This ol' place? I've been living under this roof since day one… It ain't been that long since you ditched the war." He gave you a cheeky smile, "Don't tell me you've already forgotten this place."
He was right. Objectively, you were fighting in the war just a few years ago, and there was no reason for you to have already forgotten so much. It didn't make any sense. Too insecure about the bizarre amnesia and brain fog to confess to either, you didn't respond, watching Dell cautiously nodding. Dell sighed, "I'm a might busy now, but I can walk with you for a while; I reckon I can take one night off. Help ya outta here an' all."
Stepping away a bit, you expected Dell to lead you back outside, but to your surprise, he drew further into the workshop, bringing you to the door attaching the shop to the rest of the warehouse. He opened the door, holding it open for you as you paced onward. It didn't make sense to you that this could be the way out, but Dell was your friend, and you trusted him. And it wasn't like you had any better ideas.
The two of you shuffled forward in a slightly awkward silence, you couldn't ignore how different everything looked from how you remembered it. How could everything have fallen into disrepair so fast? Windows were shattered, and walls were fractured by massive cracks, it was like the place had been abandoned for at least a decade. Things were run down, broken, and you tried not to consider the possibility you'd somehow stumbled onto enemy territory. You reasoned it was only a matter of time before you saw something you remembered, and if it were the enemy base, surely you'd have gotten yourself shot by now.
Dell broke the silence, "You came all this way to see me. You still talkin' with the others? Any idea how they're holdin' up?"
He sounded so disinterested; it was hard to imagine someone like him hadn't kept up with the others back home, if there was one person to be "a friend to all", it was Dell."I'm not so sure, actually. It's been getting quieter and quieter on their end… I just- I uh, really wanted to come and see you before you went silent too…"
Dell looked over his shoulder to smile at you, but this was an expression you'd never seen from him before. "Well, aren't you just the sweetest thing." Something was seriously off with him, but you couldn't put your finger on it.
You were so unsettled you didn't know how to respond, keeping your head down and hands mindlessly fumbling with your gun strap, trying to hold onto the hope this would all be over soon.
"To get outta here, we're gonna cross someone who don't take kindly to trespassers. But hold my hand, and I promise I'll getcha through." He extended his un-gloved hand for you to take, a kind gesture, but not one you were too thrilled to accept.
Raising an eyebrow, you responded, "If it's just one guy, I think I can defend myself just fine." As you spoke, you tapped the tip of the rifle strapped to your back with your fingernail.
Dell looked like he was trying to stifle a laugh, "Buddy, don't wanna do that, trust me. Ya ain't gonna win a quick draw against him." Once again, he extended his hand palm-up for you to take, which you reluctantly accepted. To your slight relief, Dell's hands were at least as warm as you remembered. It wasn't much, but you found it comforting.
You were thankful Dell didn't try to rush. Matching your feeble pace and walking close enough beside, you could almost feel his hip pressed against your own. "Is it Spy? Is he still around?"
Dell snickered, "Nope."
You continued walking by his side for a while without saying anything. Listening to the sound of your own footsteps against the creaking floor, trying to ignore the other noises of the house. The rain pattering against the windows, which rattled in the wind. Even creepier, you couldn't ignore the unidentifiable sounds from below the floorboards, sounding almost like someone moaning in pain. You could've sworn you could hear whispers coming from behind the dark corners, but you knew there was no way anyone else was around. Inner reason told you it was just your mind playing tricks on you, but you couldn't help but whip your head toward the voices to catch someone there, but no one ever was.
If Dell could hear the moans of pain or the hushed voices, he didn't say anything. As you walked, he ran his thumb in soft, slow circles against the back of your hand to try and comfort you. He hummed a little under his breath as though trying to minimize the creepiness of the place.
When you were about to ask how much longer until you found a way out, Dell stopped at another door. Remarkably sturdy looking and well-maintained compared to the shabbiness of the rest of the house. Given how heavy and industrial it appeared, it hardly resembled a door, looking more like the entrance to a bank vault. "This is it. He's right in 'ere. Don't let him scare ya. He's all bark and no bite… Sort of."
You were too tense to ask precisely what he meant by that, giving him a single nod in response, pressing your lips together into a hard line, tightening your grip against his hand. Stealing your resolve with a deep breath, you had no idea what lay in wait behind the door, but you were ready to tackle it head-on if it meant getting out. Pulling a tarnished silver key from his top pocket, Dell unlatched the door, stealing a quick glance your way before pushing the heavy door open.
You weren't ready to see what was behind that door, let alone confront him. The sight of another Engineer covered in fresh blood, chunks of carnage clinging to his overalls, and cleaning his tools, which were just as drenched in gore as he was, made you lock up with fear. The smell of carnage and motor oil almost made you wretch, and it took all your strength to keep from covering your eyes or screaming.
Two Engineers at the same base was confusing enough, but seeing one of them drenched in blood off the battlefield made you even more horrified. They both looked so much like Dell, but you knew with a sinking realization neither of these men were the Engie you knew and cared for. The other Engineer looked up at his twin, only then noticing he wasn't alone. "Who the hell is that?"
He shot up from his seat, ready to dart in your direction. Instinctively, you drew your weapon and were prepared to aim at the other Engineer. Your hands shook badly, and you knew you'd miss him if you tried to fire, even at such a close range.
Before you could even raise the crosshairs to your eye, you felt a heavy hand on your shoulder, pulling you protectively closer to his body, effortlessly yanking you from your weak stance, speaking in a louder but not quite aggressive voice. "Hey, easy there- don't do anything stupid now. We're just here to talk."
You weren't sure if he was talking to you or the other Engineer, but thankfully, he stopped where he was, keeping one hand planted on the gun attached to his belt. "Don't do anything stupid? Maynard! What the hell are you doin' bringin' someone up here!?"
Confusion slowly began to dwarf your fear. Keeping a tight hold on your gun, you lowered it a little more, whispering under your breath, glancing at the man beside you out of the corner of your eye, "Maynard?"
Despite the hostile situation, he grinned and winked, "Charmed to make your acquaintance, partner."
The other Engineer was far less amused. "Maynard, answer me! You got a hell of a lotta explainin' to do, brother!" It was too dark to see his face, as though you could even really see him under the hard hat and glasses, but his voice was more than enough to make you go stunned and silent.
All rational was gone. You could only think about getting out of this awful place. You tried to turn on your heel and break from Maynard's grip, but he was even stronger than he looked, keeping you effortlessly pinned in place.
A pair of bulky arms hugged you from behind, wrapping around your belly, pulling you securely against a chest broader than you remembered Dell's being. You felt the hairs on the back of your neck prickle as you were forced to fully realize how close the stranger was and how far away from safety you were.
Sure, you were scared before, but Dell was your best friend, and you'd follow him anywhere, but this wasn't Dell, and now you were in the clutches of something much more nefarious than you had expected.
Leaning close to whisper in your ear, you heard the stranger speak, "You weren't runnin' away on me now, were you? You wouldn't leave me all alone in here, would ya, darlin'? And here I thought we were getting along so well." His hug from behind tightened noticeably as he hissed that last part into your ear, crushing the air from your lungs. Your eyes widened, watching the other Engineer stalking closer. He looked so much like Dell, but you knew this wasn't him, the similarities making him all the more terrifying. The other Engineer didn't once take his hand from his gun, but at least he wasn't yelling anymore. "The hell are you doing here? Just who the hell-"
Maynard raised one hand to silence the other Engineer, who complied through grit teeth, and you could only imagine the enraged look on his face under his goggles.
"Relax, Zed, this one is harmless-"
Zed fumed, "Don't tell me to relax, you lazy bastard! You bring a surprise visitor this deep into the house with a gun pointed at my head! And you want me to relax!?"
You paled, listening to Zed confirm what you'd feared all along. You weren't being led the way out. You were following blindly even deeper into enemy territory, brought all the way into his den without even trying to fight back. You couldn't even call it your old base anymore. Where you stood now was his turf. Any pathetic, fleeting hope of escaping this bizarre place vanished the instant the words left Zed's mouth. Tears of hopelessness stung your eyes, threatening to spill as you heard Maynard's deep, unsettling laughter rumbling behind you. Too scared to move much on your own, you managed to buck forward suddenly, wriggling free as his arm detached from around you, forcing you to support yourself with shaking knees, holding your rifle to your chest with white knuckles, breathing rapidly.
Maynard took a half-step away and smiled reassuringly before extending a hand your way. In a faux-soothing voice, though with a note of condescension, as though he were speaking to a small child, "You heard the man. Hand it over."
The mere sight of Zed standing close by, staring you down with complete vitriol, made you hesitate. Your situation was hopeless; anyone could see that trying to hold onto your gun would likely give you more trouble than anything else, but still, you were too scared out of your mind to think clearly.
Seconds passed like hours as Maynard stared at you with that creepy smile, "Don'tcha want this all over with? Just hand me the gun, buddy. That's all ya gotta do." You looked back between Zed and Maynard like a hunted animal.
"C'mon now, Don't make me take it from you," Maynard warned, sounding a little too excited to enforce his own threat. Swallowing the lump in your throat, with unsteady hands, you complied, turning over your only means of defense to the stranger. Your sniper rifle was more than a gun. It was an extension of yourself, and handing it away felt like a severe betrayal.
Without a second thought, the Texan smiled, accepting your weapon into his own hands, holding the thing carefully in his hands, and seeming to admire the firearm before smashing it into the cement wall beside him. The sound of metal against cement rang out like a gunshot, making you yelp, watching your precious gun get smashed to pieces.
Maynard took a few more good swings against the wall before dropping the battered rifle to the ground, giving it a steel-toed stomp for good measure, beaming at the sound of metal breaking apart and shattering beneath his foot.
Maynard looked at Zed with an almost chipper smile, "See, gun's gone now. I told ya that one's harness, didn't I?" Unable to look away, you stared down at your poor gun, not even flinching as Maynard slung an arm around your shoulders, pulling you back into his chest.
Zed appeared unphased by the brutal display, nodding at the sight of the broken weapon, at last moving his hand from his holster, crossing his arms over his chest. "I see. But I wanna know why you brought a hostage all the way up here. I know we got more than enough room in the bunkers-"
Maynard interrupted, squeezing you a little tighter, "Not a hostage. A guest, this one's an old friend of Dell's." Turning his head to face you, uncomfortably close, Maynard asked, "Dell ever mentioned he had brothers to ya before?"
You winced hearing his name. You didn't want to upset your captors more than they were, but you honestly had no idea what was happening, so you shook your head.
Maynard sighed, "Looks like our baby brother didn't spend much time missin' the folks back home. Typical youngest sibling', he thinks just cuz he's the golden child, he can leave the rest of us behind."
You were almost too scared to ask; you just had to know. "Dell is still alive… Isn't he?"
Maynard frowned, "Well, he ain't come our way in a long time. But I know he's out there. He'll be back soon… An' I know you'll be good an' help welcome him home, won'tcha?" While he spoke, his fingers began to drum over your shoulder, playing with the fabric of your shirt between his fingertips. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Zed watching you like a hawk, not moving from his position several paces away, likely still ready to blow your head off at a moment's notice.
Trying your hardest not to let him see how his touch made you shudder, you mumbled, "How long? How much longer till he's back?"
Maynard sighed, shrugging, "Well, tough to say for sure. We've been waitin' on a visit for ages now, but ya never know with him."
Your face fell, and your head dropped forward, not wanting to give Maynard the satisfaction of seeing you cry. Ruffling the top of your head with his gloved hand, he muttered, "Hey now, don't cry, it won't be so bad. We'll keep you nice and safe. I always did like a little company around here."
Maynard looked past you to talk to Zed, "Just give us a few. I'll get 'em settled in and be back to work."
Zed huffed but didn't say anything to stop his brother, allowing him to walk past where he stood to the hallways connecting personal quarters to the den. As he passed the threshold out of the den, Maynard laughed a little to himself, "Yeah, sorry 'bout him. He's always a lil' cranky 'round strangers."
If that was Zed being cranky, you didn't want to know what he looked like when he was really pissed. It wasn't long until Maynard stopped at another doorway at the end of the hall, which creaked harshly when pushed open.
So this was where he was leading you all along, his bedroom. Somewhere so deep in the heart of the house, you didn't have a prayer of finding your own way out. You let Maynard lead you to his bed. He sat you down on the blanket, drinking in the scared look on your face with great satisfaction.
"I gotta take care of a few more things, but I want ya to stay here; keep the bed nice and warm for me. I'll be back before ya know it."
You didn't say anything, too disgusted to even look him in the eye, but you could hear him chuckling at your adorable stubbornness, "What's the matter, partner? Got nothing to say?"
Still refusing to look at him, you mumbled. "You were never going to take me home. You lied to me."
Using his human hand, Maynard brushed the side of your cheek with the pad of his thumb, curling his other hand beneath your chin to tilt your head up to look at him.
"I promised to get you outta the workshop. I never promised to take ya home. But hey, it's gonna be ok, darlin', Don'tcha see? You are home now."
Biting your lower lip to keep from sobbing, you could feel your face trembling to keep the tears in, "This can't be real. This has gotta be a dream…"
Maynard leaned down to kiss your head, muttering, "Ya really think this is all some dream, huh? That's cute. Go on and hold onto that hope while ya can. Ya ain't gonna have much hope left after I've had my way with ya."

this isn't a request but i keep thinking of (regular, not heartsteel) kayn introducing s/o reader to zed, reader saying "oh yeah i can introduce you to my master too!"
kayn gets confused bc?? his partner has a master that hasn't been mentioned until now? and then he goes to meet reader's master and it's the Least expected champ ever. absolute silly guy. i was thinking veigar (standing on the table while he shovel talks kayn) but the longer i think about it the more characters i think of. ivern (especially funny if reader is edgy and brooding), bard, etc
anyway i really love your writing! just had a funny Thought and needed to share it with somebody hhvgxkgxgjxjv
[[ I SAW THIS AND IMMEDIATELY HAD TO ANSWER THIS WITH MY LITTLE SCENARIOS IN MY HEAD. ITS TOO CUTE]]
Zed lovingly welcoming you after seeing how you changed Kayn for the better, making him more responsible, making him even more determined and headstrong, how you now make him a better leader because he's finally thinking about the consequences of his actions affecting the people around him. And then when you think, hey, maybe my master will love him too so you bring him to see them.
Veigar LOVING THE DARK EVIL DARKIN TAINTED BF YOU BRING. Bragging about how devious you are for bagging someone from the Shadow Order. Chastising Kayn, telling him about all the evil he will throw at him if he hurts you. Kayn flexing about how he is strong and can take care of you and wouldn't mind popping in to help Veigar's nefarious plans. Dark sorcery wasn't too far off from the Shadow Arts, he's curious. Or like you say IVERN? And Kayn has to awkwardly sit there as he listens to Ivern go on and on about the wonders of nature and sanctity of life. But Ivern is a friend to all, so he accepts Kayn and his unique affliction too, you can hear Rhaast screaming bloody murder. AND BARD!!!! Kayn does a double take, looking at you and your master confused. Where did you even find a being like this? The meeps are crowding around him and Rhaast has lost it. Kayn frozen as he doesn't know how he should act to impress someone(?) like that.
Or if you just bring him to the most amazing Master of all. You hold up Teemo.

masterlist
✦Zed, the Master of Shadows.
Zed can do both: if you enjoy degrading, he will call you a slut or a bitch, but if you prefer soft petnames, something more subtle and fragile, he can call you his little shadow.
He isn’t really talkative, especially in bed. The Master of Shadows usually keeps on his mask of a stoic, ruthless person, silent and deadly. He lets out some heavy grunts of frustration thought.
But your apperance makes him feel different. Complitely different.
He can be a real dirt talker when desired. Whispering in your ear sweet promises of the things he is going to do to you, when you sit obediently on his lap.
You are going to melt in his hands from his voice only anyway.
As for him, he doesn't need you speaking to him during sex. Zed enjoys your cries and moans, there is no need for rushed words.
But he has one weakness, that he would never admit outloudly.
Call him Master, as his official title states, from time to time. And watch him tensing from your subtle tease.
Moan Master Zed and he will be yours for a while. Hopeless and lost in your innocent being that admits his supremacy, so alluring.
✦Thresh, the Chain Warden.
This sadistic demon would probably call you something simillar to his own property. It is a well known fact how controlling he is, as he treats the petty souls of those who lost them to him like pathetic objects.
Therefore, a pathetic little soul would work too.
But on the other hand, Thresh doesn’t want you to adress him at all.
He wants you to be all chained up in a convoluted position, with something in your mouth so you can't mutter a single word.
The only sounds he demands are the cries of yours, either of pleasure or from pain that is caused by his tortures.
So no talking back. No calling him. Only painful screams and your chained body under him, fetching and gorgeous, yet moving away from the touch of his cold claws.
His plaything.
✦Kayn, the Shadow Reaper.
Starting with what he would love to hear from you pretty mouth…
Please, call him a good boy.
Call him handsome. Call him yours and yours only.
But call him a good boy. And he will become a hopeless mess under your body.
It makes him feel appreciated and adored by you, the person his soul crawls for. When you take care of him, when you are so gentle…
Oh, it is impossible for him to not call you mommy. If you enjoy it, of course.
He would mutter the sweet name out of his breath, while you ride him.
✦Talon, the Blade’s Shadow.
Some would call him eternal silent, maybe even grumpy. But he is just not used to a genuine company of a caring human being.
Every segment of his body was made for killing, his devotion - the job of an assassin.
But he is capable of love - the fire kind, full of sacred desire that ends his continency that had been made to prevent him from wandering off from the path of a killer. Greedy and possessive, where he wants your body under his own to claim you whole, mark as his, force you to stay by his side.
Under the cover of a private room, he becomes a tease. Talon finds your whimpers adorable whenever he whisper a husky good girl into your ear.
On the other side, you hear him saying ’my name doesn’t matter’ in different situations, official or not, definitely too many times. So you make sure to moan his name in the moments of pleasure, when you bury your face in the pillow of your bed, feeling the sensation building up in your core, hearing the obscene sounds of melting bodies.
And it touches his weak spot. To have his name on your lips, cherished, adored.
✦Shen, the Eye of Twilight.
He is a gentleman, a sweetheart and the most respectful man you know - he would never dare to degrade you in any possible situation.
Therefore Shen is more eager to call you ma’am or love, or with the relationship ongoing - just a simple my gorgeous wife.
When it comes to petnames, he is a simple man - he desires a sweet and adoring confession, like handsome or just his own name. It always sounds heavenly when it comes as a hot whisper of pleasure from your mouth.

About your bandit trio...
I'd love to hear more if you have any or want to! I love madcom aus and ocs so much, they are the coolest.
Thanks! <333
Sorry for the late response!! I saw this late the other night but I was already tired and now I'm writing this later LOL
SO! I'm glad you asked! I'm a bit of a perfectionist so sadly I don't have something I drew that I like enough to show yet, but I can give the current lore summary instead to make up for it!
The Whole Gang
Douglas, Duffus, and Duncan. Much of what they do is really jokey, but in regards to the entire AU, it isn't supposed to overshadow the overarching theme of the story. It follows these bandits in their struggle for survival as they become pawns for a bigger story behind the scenes, their lives rewritten and their fate manipulated on the fly by an outside power.
Douglas
The eldest and shortest of the group, Douglas used to be much like the average cannibalistic and violent bandit living in the Outskirts -- that was, until, he met Duffus. Since then, Douglas changed his lifestyle drastically, retiring to a more peaceful way of life with Duffus in the Hovel far from where many other bandits live. He's still rather eccentric, but he's grown much more friendly and even dropped his cannibalistic diet to make Duffus happy. He trusts Duffus with his life and quite literally has several times before
Douglas often gets ahead of himself and drones on and on when retelling any story on his mind, which usually annoys everyone but Duffus. He gets lost in thought, often relying on Duffus to help him. Despite this, he's still intelligent, as he's able to navigate through tough situations if age or madness doesn't catch him first. He just wants to spend the rest of his life peacefully with his only companion in these wastes, as he's given up on a better future long ago. He's content with what he has.
(a doodle of Douglas and Duffus' current designs)
Duffus
Though Duffus is a G03LM bandit by affiliation, he's not a bandit brute. Unlike them, Duffus has maintained his friendly and polite demeanor even after everything life throws at him. Duffus was a servant in Nexus City before the outbreak, serving as a butler for his abusive masters. As such, zeds were the least of their problems when much of the masters' fleet of G03LMs revolted against them to take advantage of the chaos. Duffus, however, was unable to bring himself to join their revolt, and as such, Duffus was persistently bullied by the G03LM survivors even when years had passed and they had evolved into bandit brutes.
Douglas would find his battered corpse deep in the city during one of his rare supply runs, and he would go on to resuscitate him. Since then, Duffus has become Douglas' shadow, following him wherever he goes and ensuring his safety. Duffus didn't immediately become loyal to him the moment he was brought back from death, rather, their current relationship was a result of years of trust built over time and their strong bond shows it. Duffus doesn't speak often and usually tries to blend in with the background, an unusually stealthy skill he gained over years of solitude. By the time you hear him, it's too late.
Duncan
The newest addition to the bandit group is Duncan, a survivor who spent almost his entire life within the confines of the residential sector. Duncan is taller and much younger than Douglas (though Duffus beats him out on both). Duncan is a motorhead, having spent many years before and after the outbreak obtaining a motorcycle and repairing it with the hope that he could ride out far away one day and get the freedom he so craves. In the present day, he's finally ready to head out, but after an encounter with the MERC on the way out of the city, he escaped with his life at the cost of totally trashing his bike, forcing him to seek refuge with the bandit pair in the Hovel.
Unlike most survivors, who preferred to live up high and away from the dangers below, Duncan spent most of his time down there with the zeds and other threats using his street smarts to make it out alive. His method of survival involves being hard-headed and selfish, threatening and intimidating others to get what he needs, which unfortunately ends up seeping into his relationship with the Hovel bandits he met. They often clash especially since Duncan doesn't want to stay with them longer than he needs to, leading to him often stranding the duo in danger. Still, Duncan is the most experienced in combat of the three, giving the trio a much-needed man skilled with firearms. And, sometimes, just sometimes, he allows himself to be vulnerable and humble for once.
Mr. M
Mr. M is an enigmatic figure who pops up from time to time in their story. He's seemingly nothing more than a sentient zed merchant (though that in itself is still strange), but over time, the bandit trio learns more about the true nature of Mr. M as he's shown to potentially be a higher power of sorts, though his true identity is ambiguous. He starts as a source of rare goodies for the trio so as long as they accept to run his "errands". Eventually, these contracts mutate into something that the trio is unable to decline as they're forced to commit to more dangerous missions and learn more things they were never supposed to know. Mr. M is deeply knowledgeable about the hidden mechanics of Nevada, and he uses that to his advantage as his manipulations of reality begin to upset certain parties...
And yeah, that's it so far! A lot of this is still early in writing and design so don't be surprised if something changes, but this is the gist of it! ^_^
