Her name is Emmalia-Dove Blair Kingstone, a powerful meta-human forged in chaos. Once a brilliant scientist on Earth-2, her life was forever altered the night the particle accelerator exploded. Bathed in dark matter, she emerged with the ability to generate and unleash devastating electrical surges from her hands.

That night in her lab, alongside two fellow scientists, she was the only one truly changed. The blast sent her hurtling through a wall, and when they rushed to help, an uncontrollable surge of lightning erupted from her, electrocuting them instantly. Something inside her snapped—fear, guilt, power—it all mixed into a single, overwhelming instinct: to run.

It was then that she crossed paths with Hunter Zolomon—the serial killer the world would soon know as Zoom. But before he became the monster Central City feared, he found her. And she became the first meta under his rule, his weapon in the war to bring the city to its knees.

Professor Zoom Character Design

It's been a while since I had an itch to redesign that fast rat of a man.

And I definitely blame @nopes--and--dreams's art for my main source of inspiration.

The description

This is the description for my Zoom fic.

Hunter Zolomon-once the fearsome speedster known as Zoom-has found redemption and a new purpose as a hero alongside Team Flash on Earth-1. But when a devastating new meta threatens to tear Central City apart, Hunter realizes there's only one person who can help them stop the destruction: Emmalia-Dove, the former villain known as Voltage.

Once his right hand in chaos, Emmalia escaped Zoom's rule and left her life as a meta behind, choosing instead to return to her first passion-science. She swore she'd never use her powers again. But when Team Flash arrives on Earth-2, desperate for her help, she's forced to confront the past she thought she'd buried.

Reluctantly, Emmalia agrees to return to Earth-1, stepping back into the fight she walked away from. As she and Hunter work together to take down the rising threat, old sparks reignite between them-rekindling the dangerous, complicated connection they once shared. But with everything on the line, can they embrace who they've become, or will the ghosts of their pasts consume them once more?

This time, redemption isn't just about saving the city-it's about saving each other.
