I really went down a rabbit hole and started writing a supernatural zombie apocalypse au. Its set in the canon universe but has a LOT of canon divergence going on. And it has destiel with a looong enemies to friends to lovers story. And medic cas!!

Would - hypothetically - someone be interested in something like this? Am I the only one??

Watching s7e3 “The Girl Next Door” (2011) during my SPN rewatch where a young Amy Pond (monster du jour) says: “Sam, you are a freak. But so was, I don't know, Jimi Hendrix and... Picasso. So am I. All the coolest people are freaks.”

And it made me realize why Jonathan’s speech to Will in Stranger Things in s2e1 “MADMAX” (2017) about how being a freak is the best and how “nobody normal ever accomplished anything meaningful” sounded so familiar.

Anyways. I love this message from these shows.

Something about dean's reaction later szns to sam's death being robotic almost lifeless acceptance coined with backbreaking grief suppressed in a looming determination to "come back for sam" both in red meat and exodus dean promises sam to come back for him and both times it's his unstated declaration he'll finish whatever is at hand and will go back to him, kill himself and die beside him. So dig two graves cuz when you die swear i'll be leaving by your side type of thing
