Remember that Cupid song that was trending a while back?
Yeah I just wanna say it has NOTHING to do with any ships (the amount of ship edits was crazy) it is instead aro (could also be ace but I mainly saw aromantic)
i don't know but yeah that sounds like oblivious allos

fragile things
"wen ning is a knife" - a wen ning playlist about violence, personhood, and autonomy.
Rain in Soho - the Mountain Goats
No town more barren than our town
No haven safer than the one they tore down
No greater love than to lay my life down for a friend
No sweeter pleasure than to see the credits clear through to the end
Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) - Florence + The Machine
This is a gift, it comes with a price
Who is the lamb, and who is the knife?
Munich - Editors
People are fragile things, you should know by now
You'll speak when you're spoken to
Haemoglobin - Placebo
How'd I ever end up here?
Must be through some lack of kindness
Zombie - The Cranberries
When the violence causes silence
We must be mistaken
Cross Your Fingers - Laura Marling
Oh, I jump into your grave and die
And on my word you'll give up your whole life for me
And you'll be reborn, bigger and stronger and less alive
The Killing Type - Amanda Palmer
But I would kill to make you feel
I don't mean kill someone for real
I couldn't do that, it is wrong
But I could say it in a song
She's Lost Control - Joy Division
And a voice that told her when and where to act
She said, "I've lost control again"
Me, I'm Not - Nine Inch Nails
I feel it coming apart
Well, at least I tried
Rose - A Perfect Circle
So no longer will I lay down
Play dead, play this
Kneel down
Gun-shy, martyr, pitiful
Alive Again - Marianas Trench
I walk around like I'm alive again
But I know it's just not the same
Big Bird - AJJ
And I'm afraid of the mob mentality
That makes otherwise normal people go blind
Placebo Effect- Siouxsie and the Banshees
With your empty containers
Another corpse ornaments your waiting room
A placebo effect reversed
Blind Dumb Deaf - The Cocteau Twins
[lyrics aren't important. just vibes]
Creature Song - The Mountain Goats
I remember the burning in my body
And the buzzing in my head
And yeah, I do remember your voice
Smoothing over my only choice
On The Wire - Sisters of Mercy
I don't sleep
So I don't dream
So I don't wake up frightened
Disorder - Joy Division
I've got the spirit, lose the feeling
Let it out somehow
Square Hammer - Ghost
Hammering the nails
Into a sacred coffin
You call on me for powers clandestine
Sowing Season (Yeah) - Brand New
Time to get the seeds into the cold ground
It takes a while to grow anything.

As we approach spooky season I am begging and pleading with people to look up Actual Irish Pronunciation for Irish words.
We have some brilliant (free!) (online!) resources out there. Please.
There's the online version of one of the biggest English to Irish dictionaries (with pronunciations): focloir.ie
There's the online version of one of the biggest Irish to English dictionaries (and English to Irish, and Irish to Irish, and a grammar tool that conjugates verbs for you, and a grammar tool that'll combine nouns and adjectives for you, and pronunciations): teanglann.ie
What was one of my favourite sites to recommend for learners is abair.ie as you can put in a word or phrase or sentence and have the site say it back to you using a library of phonemes from native speakers. But they've since started using AI to smooth it out and while it's clearer to listen to based on my two checks, and you can switch back to basic synthesis, AI is the default unless you go into advanced.
And I am sure that there are more! Those are just the 3 that are the most accessible and that I used the most in uni (and in the case of the dictionaries, still continue to use along with tearma.ie and the GAY DICTIONARY An Foclóir Aiteach (at the time of writing the November 2022 edition is the newest)
But Irish is not English. Please please please stop applying English phonetics to Irish.
Sincerely, someone who just got side swiped by hearing "toodtewah-ha dedannan" for Tuatha Dé Danann. Which admittedly is new from the usual sam-haine but please.

also in terms of the bolas playlist it's fascinating to me that the songs added by each person have a slight tendency to represent a consistent aspect of bolas
like
the songs added by slime are their chaos
the songs added by philza are their rebellion
the songs added by cellbit are their rage
the songs added by baghera are their anguish
it's so fucking FASCINATING TO ME but i don't know enough music theory to elaborate lmfao this is Vibes Only
(mouse's songs i can't boil down to an easy noun which is why they aren't mentioned lmao anyway they go hard asf)
(also i went on the longest fucking unhinged elaboration in the tags lmfao i almost didn't have enough tags left to tag "long tags" at the end
(i could have even gone on longer in terms of where their characters were at entering purgatory [philza: cage for a cage; cellbit: fed worker murders; baghera: her past as a federation experiment; slime: turning into a code because of the code pretending to be his daughter] but i ran out of space and also time it's 4AM AAAAA)

All That's Left follows two journalists and their friends in post-apocalyptic United States as they travel from the fallen east coast megalopolis Opportunity back to Los Angeles, crossing through a harsh wasteland overrun with zombies— only to find out that there is a lot more life left than what the protected cities want them to believe. On their journey they meet dozens of people living their lives as peaceful as possible away from military forces, corporations, and corrupt governments; and they learn that the same mutated ghouls that took down Opportunity are spreading rapidly through the country, destroying everything in their path.
Will this finally be the end of the world as we know it?

10 Fave Werewolf Songs 🌙
Going to start posting some species songlists on here! Feel free to request in my askbox (anon is enabled) or the notes. Song title link leads to Spotify.
10. Werewolf by Motionless in White. Because a lot of the later songs are a little calmer, I had to add in some rock! This fully encompasses werewolf rage & hunting instincts at their core.
9. I Was A Teenage Werewolf by The Cramps. This is on every werewolf playlist ever but who am I to break tradition? As a teenage werewolf myself, it's still a good song.
8. Wolf by AlicebanD. I'll admit this one is mostly here by name but it's so frantic and high energy and sounds like going utterly insane and I love it.
7. Werewolf Baby! by Rob Zombie. If I could actually transform into a wolfman this is what would be playing as a rampage through the woods. Rob Zombie never misses.
6. Werewolf by Cat Power. A beautiful and atmospheric human x werewolf song about isolation and secrecy.
5. Werewolfe by Scary Bitches. I think you just have to experience this one for yourself.
4. Lavender Moon by Haroula Rose. I'm not sure what lo-fi werewolf music would sound like, but I'm going to say this is the closest thing.
3. The Killing Moon by Echo & the Bunnymen. I have really fond memories of listening to this song waiting to board a ferry to Ireland on my way to visit family. It's also my go-to song for staring longingly at the moon and stars (and one of my maladaptive daydreaming songs).
2. Hunter's Moon by Ghost. It's my favourite ghost song and it has moon in the name! No but on a serious note his voice has the perfect wolfy growl and the lyrics somewhat reference werewolf amnesia. I'm a sucker for songs that tell a story... especially about revenge! I also associate it with one of my blorbos so...
1. Werewolf Heart by Dead Man's Bones. Dead Man's Bones is my favourite band of all time so it had to be #1 on this list. This song and the entire album it comes from is a masterpiece in gothic music. I encourage everyone to check this one out!
Honourable Mention: Give That Wolf A Banana by Subwoolfer. This link leads to Youtube because you simply have to see the performance! How could I ever make a werewolf songlist and leave this beautiful creation out?
Anyway that's all for now! I'm sure I'll make a follow-up, my spotify is riddled with werewolf music. Let me know if you like any of these!

aside from it being literally a jewish song by a jewish artist, Hallelujah being covered and presented as a christmas song is also just...? really fucking weird?? obviously it's not about christmas but it's also not even about god in a way you could construe as having anything to do with christmas or jesus even if you squint????
