Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"its much stronger than the last medication...thats what the doc told me"
minho announced, telling you word for word what the doctor had prescribed him. he had just stepped back inside after visiting the doctor for his monthly checkup. it was time for a newer improved medication.
"but its effect is immediate. it'll get rid of my sudden fatigue and zoning out"
he took his shoes off, placing it down on the shoe rack.
"and what else?" you asked, hopping around him.
"i have to take two tablets once every month. the yellow one has to be taken before the blue one." minho said, taking his beanie and jacket off. he stretched his arms, dangling the packet infront of your face.
"any side effects?"
"he described it like how you get your period every month for 4 to 8 days, ill get something similar. instead of bleeding, ovulating and all, i'll get some kind of heat."
"heat...as in?"
the kinda heat you knew was the one you had read in abo fanfictions.
well those were...intense. if it were anything like that you weren't prepared.
"my sex drive will increase drastically in the first 24 hours and may persist for the next 48 hours...so basically ill be really fucking horny"
he admitted, sitting down next to you. he leaned his head on your shoulder. so that meant his body would be adjusting. trying to go back to his normal self.
"but he did mention that with every month that side effect will gradually become less. but the first dose is always pretty bad to handle."
"it kicks in about 2 hours after i take it. so i think ill have it tomorrow morning."
"yeah, i am a bit worried though"
how could you not be?
"i doubt it'll be that bad. if it takes away that hunger i feel then i don't mind being horny 24/7"  he joked but you didn't find it that funny.
.
.
"minho..." your voice faded out. "your pant.." he looked down at his pants. there was a wet patch on his crotch. he placed his cup of coffee down.
"fuck i just showered"
you couldn't help but let your eyes trail down his body. he was hard. and his neck was a shade of dark pink. It had only been an hour and the symptoms were already showing up.
minho disappeared into the room for what seemed like hours. you peeked into the room, mouth dropping open.
he was a complete wreck.
stroking his length at an inhumane pace. choked out moans leaving him. his eyes were shut and his head thrown back against the chair.
stepping inside, you creeped up on him. he didn't notice. that was until you dropped down on your knees infront of him. hands holding his knees in place.
"go away"b minho hissed out. you ignored him, swatting his hand off his dick.
"what are you doi-...aahhh" you took his entire length into your mouth. moaning at the taste of his precum. his fingers tangled into your hair, thrusting up. you gagged at how deep he went.
"i warned you." he gritted out and then you knew you couldn't back out. not like you even wanted to.
.
"min-" you were cut off by his hand.
"i'm going to fuck you right now"
"right here" vhe announced.
bending you over the kitchen counter. you gasped as he pushed into you in one swift motion. he was still hard and leaking. his cum seeped out of you.
your eyes rolling back, at the feeling of it dripping down the insides of your thighs.
"keep it all inside"
you clenched, trying to not let it run down your thighs. but he was so far deep inside your cunt, you couldn't think.
"fill you up. m' gonna breed you. make you take all of me"
"pathetic."
you couldn't help but cry from the overstimulation.
minho never spoke so much during sex. you were used to silence. it was mostly him groaning.
so hearing him say such filthy things made you submit to him completely. made you more compliant. you let him use you. fuck you. breed you. deepthroat you. anywhere. anytime during the day.
"whats wrong? my pretty dick in your slutty little pussy rendered you speechless?"
his fingers pushed your head down, against the ice cold counter. forcing you to stand on your tippy toes, your legs began to shake.
"gonna eat you ah- mark you u-up and show everyone you're mine. all mine."
minho let out in a breathy voice, nipping at your exposed skin. his teeth digging into you just hard enough to leave bruises.  running his tongue over your sensitive skin, to ease the soreness.
"aahhh-nng" you whined, spit rolling off the side of your mouth and onto the counter. you closed your eyes, focusing on him.
him railing you. his other hand intertwined with yours. his hot breath against your back. his thick muscular thighs caging you in. his high pitched moans. his silent praises as you took him so well.
so eagerly. so sweetly.
you were going to cum again for the fourth time. and minho had cum only once. or more like he couldn't cum any faster until he had tired himself out.
now you had finally understood why the doctor had said that.
maybe this was a good thing. he was the most alive he had ever been.

Chapter 3
Tumblr media
He remembered it like it was yesterday. It was her or him... He made a choice... It was his best friend or her...
"Channie. Let's get through this together eh?"
Chan sat up in fear as he remembered the machete that had stabbed the ground centimeters away from his neck.
Chan covered his face and exhaled slowly before rolling out of bed, he grabbed his gun and walked outside, as he exited the car that led into the hideout he raised a brow as he saw you sitting on a pile of rubble.
"Y/N?" He tilted his head at you.
You looked at him and shrugged. "Needed some fresh air. You?"
"Couldn't sleep." He shrugged and climbed up the pile in a few large steps.
You had a bottle in your hand and he took it from you. "Someone has alcohol." he gasped.
"You act as if you don't." You rolled your eyes.
"See but mine isn't just for nothing." he took a swig and handed the bottle back to you.
"Oh?" You raised a brow.
"It's... uhh... Motivation." He gave you a small sheepish smile.
It wasn't an expression you'd expected to see on Chan.
"Minho's better." You stared at the exit of the tunnel.
"Can't let you leave-"
"Because you know where our hideout is." You gave Chan a side eye. "I don't intend on leaving thanks. This is the most stable place me and Hwa have gotten since..."
Chan turned to you, "Since what?"
"Since the apocalypse began." You said looking at your alcohol.
Chan hummed. "In the beginning, it was just me Jisung and..." Chan's face fell momentarily. "You don't have to leave."
You patted his shoulder and said, "Don't intend on doing so for a long while..." You slid off the pile and went back to the car. "You coming?"
"Gonna stay here for a bit..." Chan said.
"Mmk." You waved, "Don't get some random disease, I prefer sleeping." Then you entered the car and slid down.
Chan rolled his eyes and stared at the tunnel... "Eunbi..."
"SEUNGMIN!" Hyunjin and Changbin sang in unison as they burst out of Hyunjin's room.
Seungmin cringed. "Please be quiet..."
Hyunjin slapped paper on the table where Seungmin sat and crossed his arms. "I think I've got it figured out now!"
Seungmin looked at him. "What?"
You looked from where you stood with Jisung and Yongbok in the kitchen. "What are you guys screaming about?"
"Y/N!" Changbin put his arm around you. "Imagine, a working plane."
"Now how the fuc-" You started.
"THINK ABOUT IT!" Changbin shook you.
"I'm thinking it's impossible." Chan's voice came from the hall as he walked out, rubbing sleep from his eyes with a very angry expression. "You wanna know what else I'm thinking Changbin?"
Changbin laughed nervously, "What?"
Chan walked up to him and the rest of the boys scattered.
You stood there in confusion until Chan hooked his elbow around Changbin's head and dragged him, screwing his knuckles into the poor, shorter man's head.
You laughed as Chan gave Changin a noogie.
"I think it's too early to be shouting." Chan huffed releasing the whining Changbin.
"IT'S 1 P.M!" Changbin shouted, rubbing his head as the other members laughed.
Chan turned to Changbin's accomplice. Hyunjin stood straight, going silent.
"We're going out later." Chan said.
"What for?" Minho asked.
Seonghwa came out from the hall and sighed. "Hyunjin wants to use the plane he saw last time he went out."
"What for?" You asked this time.
"There was a lot of junk planes where I saw it. If we can get that plane working..."
"It'll appear on someone's radar.." Jeongin's eyes widened from where he fiddling with a computer motherboard.
"SOOO.. WE MIGHT FIND OTHER PEOPLE?!" Yongbok jumped.
"Trustworthy people." Chan shrugged. "If the plane flies... We might be able to get to them too."
Yongbok jumped up, "LET'S GO NOW!"
Chan turned to Yongbok slowly. "Later."
"Why?!"
Chan walked towards Yongbok who ran away.
"JISUNG PROTECT ME!"
"I'm going to sleep." Chan started walking back to his room.
"You don't want to eat?" You looked at him.
He inhaled deeply, "I'll eat later."
Seonghwa leaned over to you. "Give me his portion."
"AH!" Chan huffed, exasperated, sitting beside Seungmin.
You smiled and looked back at your business in the kitchen.
You packed enough food to last the group two days, just in case. It was you, Seonghwa, Chan, and Hyunjin, going to identify the plane Hyunjin had seen.
Chan drove carefully through the city.
"The plane is in the red zone." Hyunjin said, looking back at you and Seonghwa.
"All this for a plane we don't even know can fly or not.." Seonghwa sighed.
"It'll be fine." You huffed. "We just look at the plane's parts and go."
Chan looked at you in the rearview mirror. "If you see an infected-"
"Don't engage, get away quietly." You and Hyunjin made a face.
Chan rolled his eyes.
As you drove through what used to be Seoul you saw a few infected running after the car but giving up after a while. You watched as city turned into industrial area and Chan turned off the road, onto concrete, the car shook a little and Seonghwa sucked in a breath. Hyunjin snickered.
Chan stopped in front of a big building and you made a face, the sun was almost setting. "We eat then we start looking, quicker we get this over with, quicker we can go home."
You all agreed and you handed each of them some food.
After you finished eating, and went to the back of the building, Chan helping you and Hyunjin jump the fence. There was a wide open field with rundown planes.
Hyunjin sprinted to the plane he had told you about and jumped around, "Isn't she a beauty?!"
Seonghwa rolled his eyes. "It's a plane."
"But it could fly..." Hyunjin said, walking over to Chan. "Chan-"
"Look it over, find the radar-" Chan started but was cut off by sharp laugh.
"This plane, this junkyard, that building belong to my people."
You looked towards the voice, and Seonghwa stepped in front of you.
"Y/N!" A man with dark hair and a bruise on his cheek smiled at you from where he stood on the plane's wing..
"San." Seonghwa stared at him.
Chan looked at you before turning to the man. "Who are you?"
"Y/N's friend." San smiled and jumped down. "Seonghwa's too.."
"Why are you here-" You tried to move past Seonghwa but he held you back.
"I should ask you that question." San huffed, walking towards you. "Hongjoong's been looking for you for a while-"
Chan put his arm between San and you, glaring at the man. "You stay away from my people." His eyes narrowed.
"Your people??" San looked shocked, he cocked his head towards you, "Y/N is with us."
Chan reached to his side for his gun. "Who is us-"
"Go ahead Y/N. Who are we?" San looked at you, tilting his head.
Chan slowly turned to look at you.
"If there is anyone who is one of my people..." San pulled out his gun just as Chan did.
Chan pointed his at San's temple. "Prove it. Women are really rare around here... Y/N is with me."
San pointed the gun at Seonghwa.
Hyunjin stood ready to pull out his gun.
"I have to say the odds aren't in your favor." Chan said softly as he cocked his gun. "I don't think it's safe for you to try."
San's eyes narrowed. "Yeah. You're right."
Suddenly a pick-up truck swerved around Hyunjin and Chan grabbed you and Seonghwa, pulling you out of its way just as the back door opened and a man with a pretty face, dark hair and green highlights reached for his hand.
San grabbed it and the pretty man locked eyes with you.
A man with a sharp jaw, short black hair and big eyes looked at you as he turned the wheel swerving around again and driving out of the junk yard.
You cringed at the size of the hole their car blew into the fence.
Chan looked at you, his expression blank. "Explain."
"It's not what you think-" Seonghwa tried to step between you two.
Chan glared at him. "What am I supposed to think?!"
"Chan-" Hyunjin reached for him.
"Who are you?" Chan shouted at you.
You cringed. "Let me-"
"It's not her fault." Seonghwa interrupted you.
"Oh?" Chan whipped to face him. "It's yours then?"
"Bang Chan you know that's not it-" Seonghwa said, clearly getting frustrated.
"What do I know about you to really? For all I know you could have set us up!"
"I would NEVER!" You snapped.
"What am I supposed to believe about you!?" He retorted. "You robbed me when we met, you act a fool with the guys and now this!"
You stared at him. "Don't believe me then."
"Fine."
"Fine!"
Seonghwa grabbed you. "We don't need thi-"
You pulled away from him and stormed back to the car.
Seonghwa glared at Chan for a moment before going after you.
Hyunjin looked at Chan, "They probably have their own reasons. You should know that.."
Chan bit his lip. That guy couldn't have been serious. And who the hell was Hongjoong...

LOST - CHAPTER SIX
PREVIOUS CHAPTER

It didn’t take a lot to panic Felix nowadays, with everything going on, but he never thought he would be panicking over the sight of water bottles.
“What’s the matter?” Minho’s voice was groggy and filled with the want for sleep.
“We don’t have much water left and I’m not drinking from the tap,” Felix tried to keep his voice down, as not to worry the hybrid currently sleeping for the first time in a couple of days.
“I would suggest the water back at my workplace but I’m not even sure that’s safe to drink,” Minho paused, “I don’t know how long water can sit there and be safe,” he added with a pout forming.
“I’d use the internet but that’s down,” Felix rubbed at his forehead and sat down on the kitchen floor, feeling defeated.
A small smile returning when Pepie padded over to him and rested at his side to give Felix some comfort; which it did.
“Do we go for a supply run?” Minho suggested, joining Felix on the floor, head smacking against the lower cabinets, “We just went out for one; we’re exhausted,” he hesitated for a second before putting an arm around Felix’s shoulders, “we have enough for a couple of days,”
Felix sighed and ran his fingers through Pepie’s soft fur, “yeah, I guess,” he chewed his bottom lip and closed his eyes, “I’m so fucking tired,”
The expletive made Minho snort with laughter; quickly covering is mouth when he heard the hybrid on the sofa stir a bit.
“Me too,” the older man closed his eyes too and let Felix rest his head on his shoulder.
-------------------------------------------
“Snap!”
The sound of a hand slamming down on a table echoed around the small apartment as the three friends bonded over a game of snap, the hybrid taking the most recent win and accepting her prize of a couple of squares of the Dairy Milk chocolate bar they had found on their recent supply run.
“You have animal reflexes!” Minho whined and pouted despite himself making her giggle at the sight.
“Such a sore loser, Hyung,” Felix playfully shoved the older man to the side, letting out an oddly high-pitched cry as Minho pounced on him with a cocky eyebrow raised.
“Pinned ya again,” clearly mocking Nala from The Lion King, Felix rolled his eyes with a small smile on his handsome face, “wait, that makes you Simba,” Minho paused, “you’re not nearly cool enough to be Simba,” he added teasingly and the hybrid watching nearly choked on the chocolate she was currently enjoying.
“I’m totally cool enough to be Simba,” Felix argued back crossing his arms across his chest.
“You realise this means that you two have to get married now, right?” the woman across the table to them was smirking suggestively at them and it caused an immediate flush to brush over the two men as they quickly sat up.
“Does this make you Zazu?” Minho asked with a chuckle, very entertained by the appropriate gasp of surprise on her face.
“I happen to love that funky little bird,” she replied with a bright smile, canines on show; catching Felix’s eyes; a light dusting of pink returning to his cheeks, “I miss watching movies,” she added with a loud sigh, shoulders falling with a pout on her lips.
The electricity had almost completely wiped a couple of days ago, causing them all to panic quite a bit as they had practically been giving themselves what little of their old lives they had, back.
The only thing still running were the lights in the building as they were the only things hooked up to the emergency backup in case of a power outage or natural disaster.
“And my games,” she added looking woefully at her giant collection of games that decorated the many shelves both under and beside the television.
“I think I miss just the action of browsing through websites,” Felix chuckled as he gladly accepted a chunk of chocolate that the hybrid had kindly decided to share more of.
“Getting updates on things,” Minho paused for a bit as if debating with himself if he should even finish his sentence, “like friends,” he flickered his eyes to Felix who was now fiddling with a loose strand on his jumper, “is something I miss; even the dumb updates that Han and Changbin used to post up,”
This made Felix laugh, making the hybrid smile warmly again.
“The anime updates and gym updates,” Felix shook his head, and this made her sit up a little straighter with interest.
“Who...who liked anime?” she asked shyly.
“Hannie,” Minho replied fondly with a tone that he had greeted Felix with when they were reunited, “he loves the stuff,”
“Me too!” the hybrid blushed darkly at how quickly the words left her, simply excited by the prospect of somebody finally understanding her love for the animation world.
“We all do, to an extent, but Han goes to conventions with Chan Hyung in full cosplay,” Felix grinned as he saw how her mouth hung open and her eyes glittered as if he was talking about an anime deity.
“Much more fun than the gym, anyways,” Minho muttered with a shake of his head, clearly thinking about Changbin, “the number of times I saw Changbin doing suggestive stretches, is too many times,”
All three of them fell into a quiet rumble of chuckles, a small moment of calmness, the background of the apartment filled with the loud snores of Pepie and the scurrying of Harvey kicking his bedding around the small area they had set up, once again.
--
“Look after your brother,” she whispered as she cupped Pepie’s face and gently stroked his cheeks, her fingers then gently running over Harvey’s back.
“I will,” Pepie chuffed and then whimpered, “please be safe; don’t forget about us,”
Her heart ached as it just reminded her that he and Harvey had essentially said goodbye to their mum and dad the morning of the outbreak, only to then be left alone as the owners clearly met a horrible fate.
“We’ll come back, I promise,” she pet his head, “I’ve put your water and food in that corner and this is where you go to the toilet,” she pointed out the places as she prepared herself to shut them both in her bedroom, an extra layer of protection.
“I’ll be a good boy!” Pepie let out an ‘Uff!’ and nosed at Harvey; making the rabbit flinch in surprise and he stomped his foot on the ground.
“You two are always good boys,” she added before gently waving at them, switching a battery powered lamp on for them and then shutting the door with a loud sigh.
Exhaustion and worry for the travelling they were going to do for the next couple of days, hung heavy on her shoulders and her stomach twisted up in knots at the thought of not being able to keep her promise to Pepie and Harvey.
“You ready?” she looked up at Minho, who was leaning against the wall, strong arms crossing over his chest.
“Uh,” she cleared her throat, “yeah, just anxious...as usual,” she rubbed the back of her neck before tutting as she felt her hairband rub against her skin, reminding her that she wanted to keep her hair far away from both her face and prying rotting hands.
“There,” she waved her head from side to side to make sure it was tight enough, flushing a bit when she spotted Minho carefully watching her every move, “what?”
“Your ears,” Minho smiled a bit, more to himself than her, “cute,” he added quietly and turned on his heel to help Felix move the furniture away from the front door.
“Oh,” she squeaked, tugging on her ear out of shyness; shaking her head soon after and rushing to help them as well.
--
She had quickly concluded that owning a baton that had been modified by Minho to have barbed wire on it, was a brilliant investment.
Despite the baton still being covered in small fleshy pus, strands of hair and jellied substances that she’d rather not think about, she was able to take zombies down a little faster than usual and it made her feel just slightly more confident in her ability to defend not only herself, but Felix and Minho as well.
Said men were currently searching the abandoned cars along the side of the road; peeking in through the window in case one of the undead happened to be in there.
Her eyes caught dried blood that seemed to have been seeping from the boot of the car; she had an awful feeling that somebody had had to trap a zombie in there as she could hear quiet mumblings and light, weak scratches.
“Felix,” she whispered, gently tugging at his long fingers, “be careful,” she then pointed at the car he and Minho were currently crouched next to, “zombie in the boot,” she added when he gave her a confused look.
She watched Minho step lightly towards the back of the car and then knocked on the boot once, before promptly jumping backwards when a gargled growl came from inside.
“You sure it’s a zombie, not just a trapped animal?” Minho asked slightly worried that they were mistaken.
“It’s a zombie,” she tapped the side of her nose, “they smell dead, like everyone else,” she then bent forwards to check under the car that she was about to approach, just in case a zombie was under there.
“Oh,” at the startled tone of Minho’s voice, she and Felix spun around in their places, “it’s a zombie,” he then cringed a bit when he pointed out the large intestine that was dangling out the side of the closed boot; it had been severed in half and Minho was now looking at the bottom half of the body of whoever was in the boot.
“Lovely,” he muttered.
--
It was as if her body shrivelled several times smaller when her eyes investigated the dark train tunnel before them.
The sense of foreboding washing over all three of them as they shuffled closer subconsciously.
“Are you sure this is the direction your friends might be?” she asked flicking the torchlight around to try and see if anything was lurking in the darkness.
“It’s the direction that Changbin-hyung and Hyunjin-hyung are,” Felix replied and gently ran his thumb over her soft ears to try and settle her anxiety, “you can stay here with Pepie and Harvey if you’re really that nervous, I don’t want to pressure you into coming with us,” he was faintly aware of Minho watching him as he pressed his forehead to the hybrid.
“No, no” she pouted a little, “I want to come with you; I’d lose my mind with worry that something had happened to either one of you,” she mumbled shyly and felt a soft flush reach her face when Felix smiled before placing a kiss on her forehead.
“I’d be fine,” Minho shrugged his shoulders as he twirled his bat around with a relaxed grace that both she and Felix were jealous of, “dunno about him though,” he eyed Felix with a teasing grin as the wind picked up outside of the train station, the breeze dancing across them.
Rolling his eyes with a puff of laughter, Felix motioned for them to follow him into the darkness.
“Careful of the maintenance doorways,” Minho whispered and then jiggled his torchlight towards one said doorway, “don’t want to have to save you guys again,”
“Awfully smug today,” Felix remarked with a playful sigh.
“I have reason to be,” Minho turned to face his younger friend, carefully walking backwards just so he could shine the light at Felix’s eyes; making him yelp and shield his eyes.
A shiver went up her back at the sound of him yelping as it echoed all around them and she stopped walking to focus her hearing.
“I hate this,” she whispered as she searched herself; finally figuring out how to use her bra strap to hold the torch forwards; keeping her hands free.
“Stay close and you will be okay,” Minho replied with a very deadpan tone, his eyes squinting as he turned to investigate the darkness behind them, clearly checking their six.
“Quiet!” Felix hissed and held his hand up in the air to emphasize his words, his feline-like eyes wide as he scanned the area in front of him; reaching behind to carefully change the direction of the torchlight.
“Oh,” she held her breath to stop herself from blushing as his fingers grazed across her skin.
“What is it?” Minho whispered and crouched down with Felix as the younger man slowly moved forward.
“You can’t hear that noise?” Felix frowned as he looked back at his friends, who were now sharing a confused expression, “even you?” he watched her shake her head.
“There’s something in that room,” Felix turned his entire body towards the room in question and it was only the that she picked up on the shuffling, scratching noise that he was going on about.
“It sounds like a zombie,” Minho stood up straight and spun his bat around with his long fingers, stretching a bit, “stay here,” he was already on his way up the small stairs, hand yanking the door open, and she cringed at the sound of a bat crushing down into something soft, crunchy and most disgustingly of all, wet.
“You might want to see this,” Minho’s out of breath voice echoed slightly.
“Are you okay?” she dashed up the stairs before Felic could even stand and she was immediately on guard, teeth baring in what was supposed to be a threatening growl, but Minho found it quite adorable.
“I’m fine but I really don’t like the look of whatever the fuck that is,”
She could sense his nerves as he used his bat to point at a large mass of something in on of the corners.
“I might be sick,” Felix warned them as his face scrunched up at the sight of expanding flesh bubbles, that then popped audibly, moans and scratching sounds coming from somewhere inside of the mass.
“That’s the noise,” he added, and the hybrid had to quickly steady him as he suddenly jumped backwards with a strange noise leaving him.
“There’s a fucking face in there,”
Pulling the torch from her bra strap, she focused the light on where he was pointing and quickly felt the air go cold around her as a dead face, but moving, was pushing against the thin sheet of skin; teeth snapping shut every now and then.
“Oh my god,” she felt her tail fall and hit the back of her leg, “there’s more than one face,” she watched Minho move forwards.
“Why are bubbles around?” he asked quietly, and this made Felix tilt his head in equal curiosity.
“They smell,” the hybrid brought her shirt up to her nose, “they smell so rancid,” she tightened her hands to try and block the scent.
“It’s a meat...sack,” Minho frowned at his choice of words and slightly poked the place where four faces were now crowding, possibly trying to get to him, “there’s liquid in there,”
“Hyung, don’t get too close!” Felix warned with his hands immediately grabbing his friend and pulling him back as he caught the action of a hand pushing against the skin as well, “they are trying to get to us,” Felix concluded and shared a worried glance with them.
“We should go,” she urged before jumping at the sound of ripping; the room suddenly having a floor covered with water close to that of sewage, teeth riding the water as the heads they had seen came rolling out.
More skeleton than zombie.
It was then that she couldn’t care less about being quiet in the tunnels.
“We should fucking GO!”

Yessir 🫡🫡🫡
Hyunjin held tightly to your hand, dragging you behind him as you followed the other 7 boys to a chain-link fence. The hoard behind you followed your group at a steady pace.
You had just finished fighting off a few zombies that had taken you by surprise, there had only been five but even trying to be as quiet as you could, the sounds of the scuffle drew the hoard’s attention.
You felt the heat of the sun beating down on your shoulders, causing the hand Hyunjin gripped to grow slick with sweat. You wanted to blame the stinging in your eyes on the heat as well, say you had overheated so much that sweat had fallen into them.
But you had never been a good liar.
The wrist attached to the hand Hyunjin held throbbed, the torn and bleeding skin was hidden by your jacket sleeve but you felt its presence nonetheless. You didn't know how to tell the boys, but you weren't sure you would've had the time anyway. It happened so fast and then you were running for your lives.
“C’mon, baby, almost there!” Hyunjin called back to you, you were breathing hard and you felt a small fear in your heart that maybe the virus was spreading faster because your blood was pumping through your veins so quickly.
You reached the fence, Chan had given Jeongin and Felix a boost before climbing to the top of the fence and waiting to lift his members up and over, one by one. Seungmin and Changbin dropped to the ground on the other side of the fence, retrieving the backpacks they had tossed over it. Minho neglected to take his off, simply twisting his body away from the fence so his bag wouldn't catch on it.
You quickly shrugged yours off as Jisung scrambled up the fence, landing on one knee with a hiss of pain.
“C’mon, c’mon, c’mon.” Chan muttered, reaching impatiently for your hand. You evaded it to toss your bag up at him. You didn't know what to do, you could feel your head start to pound, your blood starting to boil in your very veins. Your limbs started to feel heavier by the minute, your eyes burned and you couldn't blame it on sweat this time. You moved to the other side of Hyunjin and started to climb alongside him.
Chan, seeing that neither of you needed help swung his leg over and jumped to the ground a few seconds before Hyunjin did. They each grabbed their bags, tightening and buckling the straps and preparing to run again.
“Y/n, come on!” Hyunjin spun back around at Jisung’s frantic call. He turned to see you, right at the top of the fence, not having moved to swing your leg over. Your gaze was focused on him though he noticed a haze in your usually sharp eyes.
You had a white knuckle grip on the fence, your legs were trembling and each heaving breath you took was raspy. Sweat trickled down your face, and you looked pained.
“Baby, c’mon. Let's go, just climb over sweetheart.” Hyunjin coaxed, trying to stay calm even as the hoard stumbled closer. You didn't move.
“Y/n—“ Minho had started to snap, stepping forward alongside Hyunjin. You seemed to snap out of your trance, your eyes cleared slightly and—
You released the fence, dropping back to the ground on the other side. Hyunjin darted forward amidst the panicked cries of the others even as you backed away. He struggled to undo the buckles on his bag, his eyes fixed on you.
You stumbled back and away.
“Y/n, what are you doing?!” Jisung cried, his voice rising in pitch. Chan began climbing the fence again, backpack be damned, he wasn’t leaving one of his own behind. But he jerked to halt at the top, shocked to see you holding up your previously unmarred wrist.
“Go. I’ll only slow you down.” You whispered, they barely heard you over the growing sound of the hoard.
A perfect half-circle of teeth stood out in the light, it was ugly and bleeding sluggishly. Felix broke into sobs, Seungmin held a wide-eyed Minho back from moving. Chan’s heart had fallen to his stomach. How? When?
Changbin had let out curse after curse, fingers gripping the fence tightly. Jeongin and Jisung were silent in their horror. And Hyunjin—
His fingers were trembling as he continued to struggle with his bag straps.
“Y/n, you get your ass over this damned fence before I come get you myself.” He demanded, his voice nearly a whimper. He refused to look at your wrist. If he looked then that would make it real. And if it were real… then he would lose you. So he refused. To look.
The hoard was growing closer and nobody was moving. Nobody was moving to save you, not even yourself. Your feet were planted firmly even as your shoulders had started to slump with the weight of the sickness crawling through you. You had dropped your wrist, almost as if it were too heavy to hold up anymore. Why wasn’t anyone moving?
Hyunjin had started climbing. His backpack hung half-hazardly from his shoulders, his chest was heaving with held back sobs as he made it halfway up.
It seemed his movement had spurred the others into action as well. They began working together seamlessly even with eyes blurred by tears. They collected your bag, securing it and pulling out their weapons, preparing to die for you if need be.
You couldn’t have that. You stumbled back further, almost losing your balance. The boys stopped moving, switching their tactics. The closer they got to you the further away you would move.
“Please, please just come back to the fence, Y/n.” Chan said, holding onto Hyunjin even as the younger tried to struggle away and go get you.
“You won’t slow us down, we’ll carry you if we have to, y/n/n.” Jisung sobbed, holding up his cricket bat. Their hopeful, tearful eyes would’ve pulled at your heartstrings if you could concentrate on them. His words encouraged the others, they began calling to you, hoping to get through to you.
You shook your head, stumbling away from them, moving further from their safety and closer towards the monstrous creatures that would pull you apart limb from limb for the slightest taste of flesh.
“Y/n— y/n!” Changbin called, trying to catch your straying attention.
“Baby, please!” Hyunjin nearly screamed, veins in his throat bulging as he struggled against his Hyung. You shuffled away, your head drooping as you dragged yourself further and further from him.
“NO! No no no nononononooooooo-“ Hyunjin’s scream had broken off into a moan as he struggled to drag himself to you, he would’ve fallen had it not been for their leader who watched with parted lips and wet eyes as you sunk into the waiting arms of the hoard. They watched you disappear as clawing hands and grinding teeth overwhelmed you.
“Let me go, hyung - you have to- y/n, baby-“ Hyunjin choked and sobbed, his hands uselessly outstretched, the only hands reaching back were those of the undead, those taken by the same disease you had only just succumbed to. The others were shocked, silent and gaunt with grief.
It was with a heavy heart that Minho climbed up and helped pull Hyunjin down, even as the younger gripped at the fence and sobbed your name.
“Y/n, please just come back.” He keened, even as Changbin gripped him under the arms and dragged him away.

This is a Zombie Apocalypse AU. I've been watching a lot of Zombie shows and got a lot of inspiration because of it. These Zombies will be more similar with the Walking Dead ones, however, they will have a more walking pace, the hearing for them would be a lot more muffled, and their vision would be very foggy. They'd mostly all travel in groups of 2-3 and it would be very hard to actually find a big cluster. The way you would be infected by these Zombies would be from being bitten like any classic Zombie run down.
Sypnosis: You, a single survivor from a group that had been long gone, runs into a group of 8 men, basically your saviors. What will happen when they take you along on their journey? What will they have in store for you?
Genre - Angst, Romance, Fluff, Smut(MINORS DNI!!)
Warnings: This story will contain violence, topics of sex, mentions of death, mentions of smoking and alcohol, blood, gore, depression, mentions of attempted suicide and so on. If you are not comfortable with these said topics please do not read this story.
Introduction
Chapter one: Saviors? Chapter two: Healing
Chapter three: Shit Faced and Lightweight

Part Two: "Cure of Infection": A BTS x SKZ Crossover Zombie Apocalypse Story
Tumblr media
=
The scenario:  Post apocalyptic AU.  Zombie Apocalyse AU.
A BTS x SKZ Crossover Event
WARNING WARNING: SPOILERS IN THE RECAP! IF YOU HAVEN"T READ CHAPTER ONE FIND IT HERE
Chapter Recap:  Felix and the mc were on their way back from a raid that went sideways and Felix was bitten not once but twice.   They are battling the clock to save him before he turns.  All looks lost when none other that Taehyung appears and offers them sanctuary.  However, trouble stirs and the mc is forced to seperate from Felix and Taehyung.   Does Felix make it?   Is Taehyung true to his word?  Will the mc be able to make it back to Felix and the others?
=
Hoseok stood, arms crossed, brows furrowed and eyes hard as he took in the scene in front of him.
Taehyung had arrived back … after having told no one that he was even gone.
He loved the man, really he did.
And he understood the desire for a stroll outside.
But those days were in the past.
Someone needed to know where you were at all times and you didn't need to go out alone.
And to make matters worse, he'd returned with a drifter … who'd been bitten.
Hoseok, having long since accepted the reality… was prepared to put the kid out of his misery.
Only for Taehyung to shoot into a blind panic raving about a woman and a separation of cells and a cure.
Truthfully, if Namjoon's curiosity hadn't gotten the best of him… Hoseok would've already put the poor young man out of his misery and been done with it.
However, Namjoon had stepped in.
"Hoseok-ah… let's just see what happens.  We have a containment area … just in case.   Let's just see where this goes.  If it's true and this woman shows… I mean, if she's right… then who knows what this could mean?"
And while it ground against every nerve and instinct Hoseok had…. he had always been a sucker for that wonder in Namjoon's eyes.
Joon was the leader, technically, but Hoseok was the disciplinarian and everyone knew it.
Joon was the face and the voice and Hoseok was the follow through.
Which usually made it all the more jarring because Hoseok was so naturally charismatic.
He was a natural at letting you see what he wanted you to see right up until the very end.
Chameleon, actor… whatever you wanted to call it.
But he had one huge weakness… and that was Namjoon and that childlike wonder he got in his eyes when he wanted to learn something.
If Hoseok was Superman, Namjoon was his kryptonite.
That being said… he didn't like this… at all.
It was far too risky.
Felix, the young man, had been bitten twice and while Taehyung insisted he watched this 'mystery woman' pull the virus cells out of him… he had his doubts.
At Taehyung's insistence, he had been given the medicine found in the backpack in thirty minutes intervals.
Now the question of a blood transfusion hung in the air.
Hoseok wasn't having it.
"Absolutely not." he had snapped.
"But hyung… she said…." Taehyung pleaded. "He lost so much blood.  He's got to."
"We don't even know this kid!" Hoseok shouted.
It had caused an unholy fight amongst himself, Taehyung, Namjoon and Jin.
It was the kid that spoke up.
"I understand your doubts.  I get it.   You can't trust anyone anymore."  Felix said.   "Don't worry about it.  Noona said she's coming.  And maybe I can build my blood back up."
"And that's another thing." Hoseok barked.  "Yet another stranger that we don't know.  She conveniently splits and you come in here with an infected person. Taehyung, what is wrong with you?!"
"If she hadn't then there is a really good possibility that I wouldn't even be here!" Taehyung snapped.
"You would be fine if you'd stayed the fuck inside like you're supposed to!" Hoseok roared.
"I can't live in a box for the rest of my life!  If wanting to feel the sunshine on my face every once in a while is a sin then Satan himself can claim me.   At least Hell would be a change of scenery!" Taehyung screamed.
The both of them were staring at the other with hard eyes and heaving chests.
Seokjin was the first to collect Hoseok, pulling him away to cool down while Namjoon went to soothe Taehyung.
Seokjin would bring Hoseok back down to reality and Namjoon, though impossibly curious of the possibilities, would help bring some clarity to Taehyung.
"I couldn't just…" Taehyung whispered. "Hyung doesn't understand…"
Namjoon sighed, placing his hand on Taehyung's shoulder, "He does, Tae.  He's just scared is all.  You know him.  He's just trying to keep everyone safe.  There are others here we have to think about."
"But… what if… what if it's a cure?"
"It is."
The pair of them looked to the young man currently laying on the bed in the isolation room.
Felix sat up a bit more.
He looked a bit worse for wear but there was no doubt that he hadn't been overtaken by the virus.
"A cure?" Namjoon asked.
Felix nodded, "Noona won't talk about it but I know it's true.  My hyung, Minho, he was bitten and she did with him what she did with me today.  But I think it took a lot longer."
"This is fascinating but I don't know that it's classified as a cure.  It's more like catching a cut before infection can set it."  Namjoon reasoned. "Still, I had no idea that it was even something that could be done… but it's not exactly a cure."
"It is though." Felix said.  "I wasn't finished talking."
Redness creeped up Namjoon's neck, "Sorry."
"It's ok." Felix said.  "Another member of our group, Hyunjin, he got separated from us for a while.   We feared the worse and had those fears confirmed one day while we were out scavenging.  He'd completely turned. But he's family and no matter what we've been told… none of us could just put him down like that."
Taehyung's chest tightened with this knowledge and his mind wandered to a certain someone currently locked away in another isolation chamber.
Felix continued, "We managed to get him back and we put a muzzle on him so he couldn't bite.   Noona knew she could pull the virus cells out because she'd done it with Minho.  But it was different.  Minho had a fresh bite and Hyunjin had clearly been turned for a while. She had to figure out a way to get the cells out and good blood back in."
"I don't understand." Namjoon said.
"I think I do." Taehyung said before looking at Namjoon. "That's what she was talking about.   A blood transfusion."
Felix nodded, "She pumped cells out of Hyunjin until he was barely there at all.   They're not dead, you see.  But their bodies are locked in a different state.  And depending how strong they are mentally…. they could still be aware.   Noona pulled cells out of Hyunjin until he looked like a raisin and then we all took turns giving him blood transfusions.   She'd extract and inject until no virus was left and all that remained was blood."
"Oh my god." Namjoon whispered.  "This it is."
"It doesn't always work though." Felix said.
"What do you mean?" Taehyung said, the flicker of hope in his chest almost dying as quickly as it had grown.
"It all depends on the person." Felix said, struggling a little to sit up.  "She's tried before on others.   Hyunjin says he felt like he still had his mind but no control of his body.  Like he was being controlled and it was a fight every day.  He said it was like a devil was on his shoulder whispering to him to give in and making him do things he didn't want to.  He said knowing that we were alive and fighting for him gave him hope and something to hold on.  He says that when Noona started the treatment it was awful and extremely painful…but it gave him the strength he needed not to give in."
Taehyung gasped, tears springing to his eyes, as he thought of the wide dark eyes and full lips, the sweet smile and warm hugs.
The person who he loved with all his heart…. locked away in his own mind.
"The others.." Felix started.  "Noona thinks it's because she's not good enough but Hyunjin says he thinks it's because they had already given up hope or perhaps there were prior injuries that were too great.  A girl, Sulli, she came completely back to herself but then she died on the table.   Another, Hara… she was restored but unfortunately she took her life that night.   Changbin-hyung says that she confided in him that she'd lost everyone… and didn't want to continue without them.  She did it before we could even try to stop her. But there was one other.  Her name is Jisoo.  She was bitten and restored.  We saw her not long ago.  She said that she had reunited with her friends, Rose, Lisa and Jennie."
Taehyung sniffled, "Why did you say you couldn't go back earlier? In the street.  You said you'd been bitten.  If you knew this was possible then why did you say that?"
A dark look crossed the young man's freckled features, "I didn't exactly have control.  I never realized what Hyunjin mean when he said it was like your body was being controlled.  I felt like it was drifting in and out and my mind was hazy.  I spoke but I didn't have control at times.  At others I did.  That's why when I had the chance, I told Noona I wanted to go with you. I just wanted to make it home.  If we made it home, I knew she could save me.  Because I know it's possible and that she won't give up… and that is all the strength I need to fight it before it overtakes me."
He was quiet for a moment and tears filled his eyes.
"But it's been hours… and she still hasn't come.  I - I'm scared that they might've…" he broke off into a sob, his emotions getting the better of him.
"We'll find the woman."
The three of them jumped at the voice at the door.
Hoseok, had been lingering, silently and discreetly listening to the story.
"Hyung!" Taehyung gasped.
Hoseok walked to both Namjoon and Taehyung, placing a hand on the younger's shoulder.
"Taehyungie… I'll find her.  If she can do it… we will try everything we can to bring Jiminie back."

Part 2
"Let me see the files on the exact rhythmic movement again," I said to my coworker who handed over the file.
I sighed looking through the file and typing away at my computer what I thought about the information in the file that I might have missed. I must've been sitting for at least 7 hours. I was part of a classified operation working with a potential new disease found in a recently deceased person. It was new but nothing to worry about, just seemed as though the body was still processing death. I looked at another file looking at the reports of the breathing pattern of the person that was once alive.
"I wish I wasn't picked for this," my coworker said. "The pay isn't worth the stress"
"I think this is just the body still trying to die, he died two months ago and nothing has happened," one of my coworkers said. "I don't get why they suddenly had us research something like this, the breathing pattern of death went through as it should."
"I know but everything we submit gets sent back wanting more information" Another spoke. The bickering against this project was bigger than any other I've seen. "We can't find everything with just these files."
"Complaining isn't going to help" One snapped being in a place with each other for too long is driving some people crazy. "You're giving me a headache"
"I'm heading to get some coffee" I announced standing up and grabbing my keys and purse. "I'll be back"
"Hurry up so we can get this project done I'm sick of it," One of my coworkers said typing away annoyed.
"I know I will I'll bring back some for everyone," I said taking my lab coat off and walking out the door. "Finally some fresh air"
I decided to walk to the Coffee Shop instead of driving considering how long I've been sitting. I looked around the city for the coffee shop still getting used to the environment I was transferred to. I found the shop and walked inside. There was a small line which was fine with me, the more time I could have to myself. I looked around the shop observing people and their movements hoping it might possibly help our case. Once it was my turn I ordered the drinks and paid. I stood waiting for the coffee sighing at the fact that I had to carry 6 drinks back with me. The lady smiled and gave me the tray filled with coffee cups. I thanked her and went back to the lab I was working at.
"Niragi better not bitch on me this time about coffee," I said to myself rolling my eyes.
I came upon the lab groaning at the remembrance of what I had to go back and do. I rounded the corner and saw that the doors were covered by a protective steel cover. I approached the entrance and placed down the coffee annoyed and confused about what was going on. I tried calling one of my coworkers which brought me exactly to voicemail. I groaned banging at the door hoping they'll hear which I highly doubt. I tried calling the actual workstation which didn't work either.
"What the hell is happening" I muttered pissed off at the prank they were pulling on me.
Maybe it was karma for doing the same to another coworker. It wasn't professional and put our jobs on the line but being stuck for two months in a laboratory it gave everyone a small kick out of it. I tried calling again to be sent to voice mail again.
"Guys I'm going to throw your coffee away if you don't let me in now" I threatened as the voicemail ended looking at the security camera.
I tapped my foot looking at the barrier waiting for it to rise hoping the threat worked. I stared at the door for 2 minutes, obviously, they aren't going to let me in anytime soon. I sat on the ground next to the door annoyed at my coworker's antics. I grabbed my coffee thinking about why they aren't opening up the door. There's no way something happened when there are only files and a locked-up dead body that couldn't go anywhere considering the room it was in. I took a sip and looked around just now noticing the empty parking lot the only car being mine. I quickly stood up now thinking that something did happen. I walked to my car forgetting about the coffee. Once I entered my car I opened my phone that started beeping I looked down raising an eyebrow.
I stared at my phone in disbelief. Fear and confusion were evident on my face. The message kept replaying and I still sat there not knowing what to do. It all made sense now. The laboratory was shut down and everyone fled to see their loved ones. I quickly went to call my parents but the phone wouldn't dial. I looked at my phone and saw the service was down. I panicked texting and calling, but nothing went through.
"No no no no" I repeated trying over and over again. "The landline phones, they might work."
I hit the gas and sped to my temporary apartment. I got stuck by traffic ahead of me. I tried backing out but was blocked by someone pulling behind me. There was nowhere for me to drive.
"Damn it" I yelled getting out of the car with my belongings.
I started to run to my apartment which luckily wasn't too far away. I looked around still running and seeing what the news was talking about. I covered my mouth seeing the man get eaten across the street. I tried running faster and eventually made it to the building. I ran inside the apartment and slammed the door shut locking it immediately. I put down my stuff and grabbed the home phone. I called my parents but they didn't pick up each and every time I tried to call.
"Fuck" I yelled throwing the phone across the room making it break my breathing still trying to catch itself from running.
"You have 3 voicemails"
I looked over at the voicemail station where the phone charges and pressed the play button.
"Voicemail 1 Hey honey, we just wanted to check in and see if your okay, we know we can't get to you right now but make sure to stay safe okay? We love you"
"Voicemail 2 Y/n we are packing the van to come get you. Your sister is still at school so it will be delayed a bit just stay where you are okay? We love you"
"Voicemail 3 your father just got attacked I'm going to take him to the hospital you be safe and wait okay? We love you so much don't ever forget that. What's that? What- ahh"
"You have no more voicemails"
"No this can't be happening," I said tears trailing down my cheeks as I slid down the wall. "This isn't real this is just a bad dream"
I started to cry my mother's last words repeating in my head. The fear in her voice made everything worse. I cried on the floor for 15 minutes until I felt the ground shaking. I got up and looked out the window. Helicopters started to drop bombs in the street and gunfire went off. I grabbed my keys faster than lightning and made a run for the door hearing the helicopters come closer. I ran down the stairs my throat burning from my heavy breathing. I ran as fast as I could away from the city to avoid getting bombed. I looked behind me and saw a metal ball drop down on a building. I looked forward and kept running making sure not to look back. I slowed down when I thought I was far enough I laid on the ground out of breath looking at the sky that started to get covered by smoke. I sat up and watched the city burn

zombie!minho pt 3
-contains mature themes
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"stop" minho let out, carefully pushing you away. "im feeling a little out of control"
you pouted, looking at all the marks you had left on his collarbone, all the way down to his chest.
"you shouldve taken your meds on time then" minho sighed, faking an annoyed expression. It was quite obvious he was affected by your tricks.
minho looked divine. the marks or lovebites how he would call it littered his body in an artistic way.
pretty reddish blue bruises against his pale grey skin. however the natural lively colour of his body would eventually get restored once his meds kick in. You had approximately 45 minutes to have your fun.
"you're my canvas"
he gagged, trying to pull his shirt back done. you clicked your tongue.
"im not done"
minho sighed yet again, but he didn't stop you.
"shit im shutting off...run out and lock the door if i lose it" minho grumbled, laying back down on the couch.
he had kept mentioning that. saying that if he ever lost control on his body, to run away and leave him. it scared you. if he turned completely, you could end up turning into one as well. you shook the fear away...now being a little cautious.
it was silent then.
you could hear yourself breathing and the faint sound of his heart beating. it was slow yet steady.
He lifted his head slowly, eyes completely foggy and white, his lips chapped and the expression on his face was fixed.
Lifeless.
that was until you pressed down on his bulge. nipping against the insides of his thighs. mouthing at his covered crotch.
you moved down lower, just above his bellybutton. you kissed the skin before trailing down lower. he spread his legs without much thought, to which you laughed.
standing up, you sat down on his lap. he groaned, putting his hands on your waist. for a brief second, you got scared. His grip on your waist was firm, a little too firm.
"Ow you're cold" you whispered under your breath not expecting him to bother.
he grunted, eyebrows furrowing.
huh?
you watched his cold hand slip inside your pants with ease. you whimpered, clutching his shoulders at the icy feeling of his fingers against your heat. you throbbed as his fingers pushed against your cunt with just the right pressure.
"minho-" you were about to complain, moaning when three fingers entered you in one swift motion. your hand went flying down to hold his wrist. he took hold of both of your wrists, keeping them down with a single hand.
you were wet enough yet the stretch was bearable. his fingers moving inside of you with precision. you rested your head on his shoulder, breathing down on him. he pressed his head against yours.
And the you knew.
minho was still there within. he was there and you were safe.
minho loves when you're vocal and noisy. unable to hold in your voice when he's treating you so well. it also makes him know he's doing a good job.
when he can't speak, he renders you speechless...loving how there is no talking, just moans.
the thing was, minho was not sweet and patient in this state. he was brutal, taking whatever he wanted from you. Of course he made sure you were okay but he would do whatever he wanted. never letting you take charge. not that you did most of the time. In this state, he has you keening for him. being extrememly submissive. and vocal.
"shit you're taking my fingers so well"
you looked up in surprise, his eyes were back and he was starting to look a bit more...alive. he retracted his hand, pushing the three fingers in his mouth. he groaned.
"you always taste good. and im the only one who has the honour of eating you" he seemed proud. he pulled you by the base of your neck, your lips crashing together.
"will you let me take care of you?" he asked between breaths. you answered by grinding down on him.

You refused to look up from your lap, scared that you would lose your fragile composure.
“It happened a little over three weeks ago,” you began, already feeling the sting of tears at the back of your eyes. “I wasn’t alone in the beginning. I was with four other people. My two brothers, Noah and Ethan, and their girlfriends, Emma and Grace.
We were trying to make our way north. Ethan had heard a rumor that the dead don’t like the cold. We had set up our camp for the night in the woods at the edge of the city. It was the middle of the night and it was my turn to take watch.” You paused to suck in a shaky breath, pressing the heels of your hands into your eyes.
“I fell asleep. I woke up to screaming. A group of, like, ten men ambushed us. One of them slit Noah’s throat and fed him to a zombie they had on a leash. Four of them crushed Ethan’s head with their boots and shotguns. Me, Emma, and Grace were clinging to each other. The men surrounded us, talking about bringing us back to their camp so they could have some fun.” You spat at the memory.
“Three of the men moved to grab us while the others gathered our stuff for themselves. All of a sudden, Grace screamed and threw herself into the men. She told me and Emma to run. I was frozen, but Emma pulled me up and dragged me toward a thicker area of trees. Someone shot her in the leg. She pushed me forward, begging me to keep running. The last thing I saw was their pet zombie ripping into her neck.
I’ve been alone since then. I’ve been in a pretty hazy state of mind, I don’t know how I wasn’t killed. Before Yeosang found me, I was wandering around the shops for anything useful. I turned a corner and saw the herd a block away. One of them must have smelled me, cus they started sprinting toward me. I was going to let them kill me, I was tired and so, so lonely. But in my mind I heard Emma and Grace yelling for me to run, to survive, and I ran on instinct. That’s when Yeosang grabbed me.” You finally lifted your gaze to the men sitting across from you. They looked back at you with a mix of sadness and understanding.
“I’m sorry. We’ve lost people, too, but I can’t imagine how you must have felt seeing your family taken so cruelly,” Chris sighed, trying to offer some comfort with a kind look in his eyes. You sniffled and swiped at the traitorous tear that escaped.
“It was my fault. If I hadn’t fallen asleep, I would have seen them coming. They’d probably be alive right now. It should have been–”
“Don’t.” Hongjoong interrupted, speaking for the first time since you met him. “Don’t you dare say it should’ve been you. What’s done is done, the past can’t be changed. Mourn them. But you can’t give up. If you die, their memory dies too. Then they’re truly gone.” His words cut into you deep and you couldn’t hold back your sobs any longer. You hunched in on yourself, burying your face in your hands.
“You can stay with us.” Chan’s voice was closer now. You felt hands on your knees, and looked up to see him crouching in front of you. Your body sagged in relief as Chan ran his thumbs in soothing circles on the tops of your thighs.
“Minho told us that you’re an ‘almost doctor.’” Hongjoong stated with air quotes after you calmed down. “What does that mean?” Chan moved to sit beside his co-leader again.
“I was in my last semester of medical school. I was in my residency and getting ready for commencement. I was going to be an emergency room physician, and already had a job lined up.” The leaders shared a look of approval.
“We need to get our inventory more organized. Minho is trying to do it all himself and won’t admit he needs help. Can you try to get him to split the responsibility?” Chris asked. “We obviously won’t need medical attention all the time, so inventory can be your secondary job.”
“I’ll try, but I can’t make any promises,” you agreed. They told you where you could find Minho, so you headed toward what used to be the office’s break room. You made a pit-stop at the maintenance room to pick up your backpack and peeped in the break room. As promised, Minho was sifting through the group’s resources.
“What do you want?” Minho didn’t even look up at you to ask. You stepped fully into the room.
“Chris asked me to help with inventory. I figured I could take over for the medical supplies.”
“You figured wrong, I can handle it,” he denied. You bristled at his cold tone and marched over to stand directly in front of him, arms crossed over your chest.
“I don’t want to argue with you, Minho. I know you don’t trust me, but Chris and Hongjoong agreed to let me stay. If I’m going to help, I need to know what medical supplies you have,” you asserted. Minho finally looked up at you with a scowl. When you looked closely at his face, he was pale and clammy with prominent dark circles.
“I don’t need help,” he snapped at you.
“You’re tired, I can see it.” Minho’s eyes narrowed while yours softened. “You look pale, a little clammy, and you have horrible dark circles under your eyes. You’re taking on too much at once and you’re going to burn out if you don’t let someone take some of the responsibility.”  You could see his inner conflict in his eyes.
“What do you have in mind?” He asked hesitantly. You smiled gently and pulled one of the chairs over to sit in front of him.
“Split everything into categories, and have one person in charge of each category. I would say we split it into medical supplies, food and drinks, miscellaneous items, and weapons,” you suggested. Minho tapped his fingers on his chin, considering your words. Slowly, he nodded.
“That’s… not a bad idea,” he admitted.
“Thanks, I think. Obviously I would take over the medical supplies, but you know this group better than I do right now. Who would you want to put in charge of the other categories?” The room fell to silence while Minho mulled over his decision. You didn’t want to pressure him, so you busied yourself with finding notebooks to catalog everything. This turned out to be a very easy task. The former office building had an abundance of extra notebooks, pens, markers, and various other stationary supplies. You brought four notebooks and a marker back to your seat. On the cover of the first notebook, you wrote “Medical Supplies” and your name underneath.
“I want to do the food and drinks. Jongho should do the miscellaneous, and Changbin and San should split the weapons, one in charge of guns and the other silent weapons.” As Minho spoke, you wrote the category and group member name on the front covers of each notebook, grabbing one more for both weapon categories.
“Okay, let’s go let them know. I still don’t know everyone’s names, though.” You stacked your notebooks, hooked pens onto the spirals, and tucked the marker into your pocket.
“I’ll introduce you.” Minho led you out of the break room. He went through each room, pointing out what it was used for and telling you the names of anyone inside. Jongho was the quiet guy from the rooftop and he readily agreed to his new role. You handed him the notebook and pen and he immediately left to get everything written down. You had met almost everyone, with the final two being the appointed weapons masters.
“Changbin, San, I have an offer for you,” Minho called out as he pushed open the door to the maintenance room. These two were the obvious muscle of the group. Both of them were absolutely jacked.
“What’s up?” The shorter of the two furrowed his eyebrows, looking warily between you and Minho.
“I want you two to take charge of our weapons catalog. Who wants to take guns and who wants silent weapons?” The way he phrased it made this more like a demand rather than an offer.
“Oh! I’m glad you’re finally letting us help, man. I don’t mind either way. You have a preference, San?” You could finally put the final names to their respective faces.
“I can take the silent weapons.” You added San’s name to the silent weapons notebook and handed it to him, doing the same for Changbin and the gun notebook. They, too, got to work cataloging the group’s weapons. You and Minho returned to the break room, joining Jongho to work in silence. Jongho had moved the miscellaneous supplies to one of the long tables along the wall of the break room. He was breaking the supplies into subcategories while Minho got the food organized in the cabinets.
“Is there another room I can bring the medical supplies to? I don’t want to have to treat wounds in the same place we eat.” Minho nodded and showed you to one of the empty offices. It was just big enough to fit a desk, office chair, and a hip-height cabinet. The desk and cabinet were both, thankfully, empty. You wheeled the office chair back to the break room and began piling up the medical supplies.
“Wow, you guys have a lot of good stuff here,” you remarked. “What, did you raid a hospital before you settled down?”
“Yes,” Minho and Jongho answered at the same time.
“Oh!” You decided against asking any more questions. It took two trips to get all of the supplies to your new office. You put most of the supplies in the cabinet, delighted that there were shelves for more storage space. You kept most of the over the counter medications on top of the cabinet so the group would have easy access to them. You left a note reading ‘let Y/N know if you take any meds!’ taped to the wall above the cabinet. You decided that the desk would serve as your exam table. You were so engrossed in your work that you didn’t hear Felix come in.
“Wow, you actually got this looking like a doctor’s office.” You yelped, dropping your pen and swinging around to glare at the Aussie from your spot on the floor. He cackled behind his hand, leaning against the doorway.
“Felix! Don’t sneak up on me!”
“Holy shit, sorry, but you jumped like a foot off the ground,” he teased while clutching his stomach. You rolled your eyes.
“Alright, alright! It’s not that funny. What did you need?” You huffed and changed the subject.
“Dinner’s ready. We’ve been shouting for you for a couple minutes now,” he explained.
“Oh, shit, sorry.” You quickly stood and followed Felix to the break room. Minho was dishing out small portions of rice topped with a slice of spam.
“Finally! Chan won’t let us start eating until everyone gets their plate,” Jisung complained. You muttered an apology, more focused on the food. You’ve only had a granola bar today, and that was right after you woke up. Minho handed you a plate and you had to force yourself to eat it slowly.
“I saw the new inventory notebooks. Good job, guys,” Chris praised.
“I like how you divided the supplies up. It makes things a lot easier to find.” Hongjoong agreed. You perked up at the praise, pleased that you were earning your place in the group.
“Who’s going on the run tomorrow?” Seonghwa chimed in, looking at the group’s leaders.
“Hyunjin, San, Wooyoung, and Seungmin. It should be a quick one, there and back within a few hours,” Chan answered. “They’re gonna head out after breakfast.” The rest of the evening went by in a blur. After dinner, you finished up your inventory list then joined everyone else in a large waiting room-looking area of the building. Thin blankets were strewn across the carpeted floor.
You sat against the wall, pulling your knees up to your chest and resting your chin on them. Yeosang quietly removed himself from Jisung’s crushing hug to sit beside you. The group split into various cuddle piles but still included everyone in conversation. You stayed quiet for the most part, opting to listen to the others talk. You chimed in every now and then, and answered their questions about medical school and your home state. One by one, the group members succumbed to sleep. Mingi stayed up on first watch, looking out of a nearly invisible slit in the wood planks.
Falling asleep sitting up would leave your neck sore in the morning, but your contentment and feeling of safety being surrounded by others made it worth the discomfort.

Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Jeongin had fallen asleep, leaning against the window, Seonghwa and Chan were having a very aggressive staring contest in the mirror, Felix on the other hand smiled at you.
"So y/n," Felix said, "What did you do before the apocalypse?"
You shrugged, "I was just starting medical school."
"So you might know how to help Minho."
You nodded. "What's wrong with him?"
"he's been really sleepy and he kept saying he had a headache then it got worse... and his neck got stiff... then he got the fever and he started feeling weak-"
"Meningitis?" Seonghwa asked, finally looking away from Chan.
"Maybe..." You said quietly.
"What do we do?" Chan said looking at you in the rearview mirror.
"I have to see when I get there." You made a face at him.
He sucked in a breath, "Fine."
You smiled slightly and began asking Felix about his life before the apocalypse. You found out from him that Chan liked singing.
"Chan used to sing every day... even the stupid jingles on TV-"
"That's enough." Chan said, squeezing the wheel.
Felix went quiet.
Chan turned into a tunnel and stopped the car.
Seonghwa looked around. "Where are we?"
"Home." Felix said and shook Jeongin awake.
"Yongbokkie, help me open the gate." Chan said as he got out of the car.
You got out and walked around the back of the car to Chan's side, Seonghwa looked up and down the tunnel before grabbing you and hissing in you ear. "I don't trust this place."
"Then sleep outside." Chan spat before going to a pile of melted metal and a rusted car.
He shifted the metal and after a few hard pulls, Felix got the car door to open. You saw a flashing light and stared at curiously as it turned green before Felix entered the car. Jeongin followed close behind. You stared at the dark inside of the car curiously.
"Go." Chan said. "It's not dangerous."
You made a face. "It looks dangerous."
Chan let go of the door and it closed, "Look, if we didn't need you to fix Minho you and your friend wouldn't be here. I don't like killing other people. You know where we stay. I either kill you here. Or you join us and get the fuck inside."
Seonghwa stepped between you and Chan, looking down at him, "Try and kill her."
Chan sucked in a breath turning around before reaching for something. The car door opened from the inside and someone stared at you. He had thin cat like eyes and long black hair, and plush lips.
"What's going on?" He stepped fully out of the car and looked from you and Seonghwa to Chan. "Who are these people?"
"They can help Minho." Chan said, "Since I'm so threatening talk to the face of our operations." He rolled his eyes and opened the car door before entering.
The man looked at you and Seonghwa, "When was the last time you showered." He waved his hand in front of his nose. "I'm Hyunjin. If I get this right I must know Chan so well. He scared you, you don't want to enter. But if you don't enter, he has to kill you."
You nodded.
Seonghwa huffed. "Look-"
"N-no I get it. It was the same way when I found these guys. But I promise, it's safe here." He smiled gently and opened the door.
You looked at Seonghwa who started shaking his head but you threw you bag in before entering yourself.
You slid past the seats realizing the car was slanted, and stumbled into a dark tunnel you saw a light at the end of the tunnel and followed it to a big well lit room, natural light poured in from a window in the ceiling.
"There she is." Felix smiled, "Guys, this is y/n. y/n, this is Jisung," he motioned to a man with dark hair and chubby chipmunk like cheeks, "Changbin," A muscular man with a scar on his face, "Seungmin," A boy with light brown hair and a calm face, "and Minho is probably sleeping."
You looked around their base, it was a wide area, probably formally used for tunnel maintenance. To the right was a living like area with a couch and table with trinkets decorating shelves several passages led somewhere, to the back was two passages, to the left was a big kitchen with a gas cooker and fridge.
Your brows furrowed. "You have power."
"Always." Felix smiled, "Perks of having two geniuses around," he motioned to Hyunjin and Seungmin. "If Hyunjin imagines it, Seungmin and find someway to throw it together."
You nodded, motioning to the two doors to the back.
Changbin perked up, "We aren't allowed back there. Even if Chan and I built this place together, I can't see what's to the right door. As for the left," He looked at Seonghwa, "We'll see when we trust you."
Seonghwa pursed his lips.
Jisung smiled at you slightly. "It's been so long since we had a girl here... alive anyway. I feel under dressed."
You laugh lightly and shrug, "Don't worry about it, I can't say I'm much better."
Jisung laughed slightly, "We have a shower, can't say if Hyunjin and Seungmin have figured out hot water yet but you can give it a try."
"Speaking of which," Felix grabbed your hand and dragged you down a hall to the right and down the left of a split in the hall before opening a door. "You can stay here." He looked at Seonghwa. "I can find you guys a bigger bed if you nee-"
"I'll sleep alone thanks." Seonghwa rolled his eyes.
You laughed and threw your bag onto the bed, looking around the small space. Unlike the other places you had stayed with Seonghwa and the outside, despite the heat, here it was cool. You sat on the bed and smiled at how soft it was, you looked at the small dresser for your clothes and hummed.
Felix poked his head in after a few minutes. "I can show you to the shower," he held out a towel.
You stood and took it, opening the door and following him out into the hall. The shower room was a very small space with carefully put together piping and tile flooring with a rubber mat.
Felix smiled and handed you soap and a wash cloth, "Uh, I don't know what else you girls use to bathe so... consult Hyunjin if you need anything extra."
You laughed. "This is enough, thanks."
"Okie dokie." Felix nodded, "As Sungie warned, the hot water might not always work so... good luck." He smiled sweetly and closed the door.
After questioning yourself in the shower about how you survived so long without warm water you finished your shower and allowed Seonghwa his turn.
You were sorting through your bag, looking at what you had and what you could put where when Changbin threw your door open.
"Minho is awake." His eyes were worried.
You stared at Minho, he was a very pretty man, about Chan's age, with small lips and observant eyes.
"Who is that?" he asked the moment you entered the room.
"She's going to help." Hyunjin said, looking at you.
"Help me how? She a doctor or something?" Minho sat up.
"You could say that." Chan exhaled slowly.
"Lay back." You said.
Minho stared at you for a moment before laying back.
You felt his head, "Hyunjin." You looked at him, "Get me my bag, it's on my bed."
Hyunjin ran off to get it.
"Relax, I'm going to test you for something." You put Minho's arms on his abdomen and took his pillow from under his head.
Chan stared at you with narrowed eyes as Hyunjin returned, Seonghwa following him, "I don't want that Pomeranian in here-"
"Chan who are these people?" Minho tried to sit up but you pushed him back down with a glare.
"Who are you calling a Pomeranian?" Seonghwa said, walking across the room.
Minho pushed you off and held his head as he sat up. "Stay away from Chan-"
Chan got in Seonghwa's face and then you lost it.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP! BOTH OF YOU!"
Seonghwa and Chan stared at you.
"Out." You said quietly.
"You can't order me around-" Chan started.
"Channie." Minho looked at him. "Go..."
Chan sucked in a breath and left.
Seonghwa looked at you before walking out after Chan.
You got Minho to take the acetaminophen from your bag and had him lie back again. You lifted his head and watched his lower half.
You sucked in a breath as his knees bent slightly.
"Hyunjin." You said quietly.
"Yeah?" He looked at you.
"How long has Minho been sick?"
"A little less than a week.."
"He's got meningitis..."
"Is it bad?" Hyunjin's face fell.
"I think he'll live if he's made it this far. We just have to keep the fever down." You sighed softly. "make sure you wash your hands."
You ended up watching Minho most of the late afternoon into the evening and even in the night to keep his fever down, switching every now and then with Hyunjin. Living with the boys you noticed how rare it was for Chan to be around and about the hideout.
"Does Chan always stay away from you guys?" You asked Jeongin one day.
"No, not really." Jeongin said, "You're just not out when he's out."
You nodded to yourself, determining based on those words, Chan must be active at night, compared to the other member who were loud and rowdy in the day.
You were watching Minho, checking his temperature quickly before leaving to get water. It was dark out, from what you could see through the window in the center room. You got a bottle of water and looked around. How lucky did you have to be... You hadn't died in the initial wave... You found Seonghwa...you found Chan... You could drink water peacefully.
The sound of steps made you look up, Chan stood in the hall looking at you.
You looked back at him.
"Minho okay?" he asked as he grabbed a bottle from the top shelf above the stove. Alcohol.
"He's fine." You said sipping your water.
Chan poured himself a cup of the alcohol and looked at you. "Never thought you'd actually do it." he said before drinking.
"What?" You looked at him.
"When we left we were sure Minho would die before we got back," He said quietly, staring into his cup. "I owe it to you," He looked at you. "Thank you."
"I've been here a whole two days and this is the first thing you say to me." You laugh lightly.
"Wasn't like you were available to talk." He huffed.
"Well, Chan, you're welcome." You shrugged and finished your water, pushing away from the counter, you walked to the hall. "And... for everything," You motioned to the room. "For letting us stay, thank you..."

CHAPTER SEVEN
It was only as the torchlight flashed around the tunnel, that she noticed that there were in fact, multiple sacks of the undead sticking to the walls with thick greenish-brown liquid oozing from underneath them.
The liquid seemingly corrosive as she could see the skin falling from the bodies as they clawed at the skin-seal they were in.
She weaved and dodged around them, trying to ignore how much she wanted to throw up before skidding to halt when she heard both Minho and Felix suddenly start to scream in panic.
She hadn’t even realised how fast she had been, how far she was ahead of them.
“Don’t let go of me!” Felix’s deep voice cracked as he gripped tightly onto Minho’s hand, who was currently trying to keep his feet on the ground as a thick, long tentacle had shot out from a growth on the ceiling.
Her eyes wide, she rushed back to them, vision focused on the sharp teeth surrounding the base of the tentacle.
Looking around for something to break the tentacle with, she noticed that both Minho’s bat and Felix’s frying pan were scattered on the floor.
“I got you; I’m not letting go!” Minho shouted, tears now threatening to fall as he could feel both his grip slipping and his body rising.
“Hyung,” Felix whimpered, “I don’t want to die,” his eyes met hers and he felt like crying even more when she took a few steps back; in turn making Minho yell in annoyance.
“Help me!” he screamed before he suddenly found himself falling to the ground as his grip finally gave way, “Yongbok!” he watched as Felix was yanked upwards.
Felix felt like everything had suddenly gone into slow motion as he watched Minho get smaller as he was pulled higher.
And then, suddenly.
He was falling back down to the ground as the sickening sound of flesh ripping danced across the walls, the screams from the growth soon following.
Minho just about had enough time to steady himself enough to catch Felix, although it wasn’t graceful, he had his friend in his arms and for once, Minho allowed himself to just hold his friend and cry.
Felix held him tightly, sharing the tears as he searched for the hybrid.
The sound of throwing up allowed his blurry sight to finally spot her, a thick chunk of blackish green was spat out onto the ground; followed by more vomiting.
The sudden realising hit Felix like a truck.
“What did you do?!” he pushed himself away from Minho and ran over to her, hands quickly holding her face as he checked it over, “please tell me you didn’t use your mouth to cut that thing?”
She gave him an exhausted watery smile, her lips still stained with clotted blood.
“You were going to die,” she then looked a little to the left, where Minho was now standing with a look of thunder on his handsome face, hand white as he gripped both recovered weapons.
“You are a fucking idiot,” he snapped, and Felix turned to him with a frown.
“Hyung, stop,” he didn’t want an argument to start up in the tunnel when they were still surrounded by creatures.
Minho rolled his eyes in annoyance before roughly grabbing near the back of her neck and forcing her mouth to open so he could pour bottled water in it.
“Spit,” he said firmly, eyes practically burning like the sun as he tried to control his anger and panic.
She obeyed and cuddled into herself when she spotted all the gunk that came with the water and spit.
“Congratulations, Spots,” Minho replied sarcastically, “you have no idea whether or not if you have infected yourself,”
They had finally found a small, abandoned house just outside the exit to the tunnel and quickly made the decision to lay low for the night, although they were still able to hear the creatures screaming and moaning in the tunnel.
She felt awkward as she stayed in the corner with her legs to her chest, eyes occasionally flitting to Minho and Felix as a wave of shame washed over her.
Had she put them in danger? What else could she have done, there wasn’t anything else to cut that thing down!
“You need to apologise,” Felix huffed and nudged Minho with his elbow, “you know there wasn’t anything else she could do,” he added and rubbed at his stomach where the ache of being held by the creature was still lingering.
“Are you okay?” Minho asked with a deadpan expression, ignoring Felix’s words.
“Hyung,” Felix sighed and sat on top of the bag he had brought with a loud and exhausted thump, “look at her,” he was now scanning over his friend as her head hung low, her dalmatian ears swaying a bit as she shivered.
“She could be infected,” Minho slammed his hand against the wall, “I’m just being realistic, Yongbok,” he could see her out the corner of his eye lifting her head in shock at the noise, “it’s not like I want her to be infected, but she could be and that is something that you should be worried about!” he stared directly into her eyes as he spoke to Felix and she felt her heart still when she saw how concerned he was.
For her.
“She saved my life,” Felix replied and then moved to sit by her side, his hand quickly moving to pet the top of her head, noting that her tail was gently tapping against the hardwood floor.
Minho stood still for a moment as he watched the two of them huddle together before he silently moved over to them and laid down by their feet, his back to them.
Felix smiled slightly, knowing that his friend was worried for the hybrid but had no idea how to show that without being harsh and angry.
Though they were a lot quieter than usual, she couldn’t help but inwardly gush at how different the countryside was compared to where they lived.
“This place must have been so pretty with the fruit markets,” she sighed, and her ears pulled back on her head sadly, “loads of hybrids live in the countryside so it would have been so cool if I had been able to meet others,”
Felix’s thin fingers gently ran through her hair and tickled her ears.
“This is where Hyunjin Hyung used to film his dancing,” he chuckled as they had now come to a complete stop.
“He dances?”
“Like a superstar,” Felix grinned when he saw her ears wiggle in interest, “Minho Hyung taught him most of…well everything that he knows,”
At the mention of the other man, she diverted her eyes back to the empty market area, still a little afraid to even meet his gaze which was now boring in to the back of her head.
“C’mon, we need to keep moving,” Minho muttered and nodded his head forward, clearly knowing where they were going.
Felix wiggled his fingers at her waiting for her own hand, inviting her.
“Gimme those little hands,” he teased and started to silently giggle when she arched her eyebrow at him.
“Says you!”
*
Minho led them to the nearest gym, crouching behind a bench with the other two quickly following.
“Changbin’s gym,” he pointed out and Felix hummed in recognition, “they are really trying to get in there,” he frowned as zombies continued to claw at the glass, some already having broken through and slamming against a door in the back.
Bending forwards a bit, she smelt the air to try and see if she could detect what they were after.
An overwhelming feeling of nausea suddenly hit her, and she quickly cupped her hands around her mouth to try and stop herself from throwing up, the back of her skull feeling heavy.
“Drink,”
She flinched as cold plastic was gently pushed to her cheek, and she turned to see Minho next to her holding a bottle of water; eyes still trained on the small horde before them.
“Thanks,” she took a small swig of water and shook her head to try and get rid of the fog building up, “here,” she held the bottle back for him to take but he shook his head.
“I’m not sharing with you,” he explained coldly, and Felix shared a sympathetic look with her as she quietly put the bottle in her own bag.
“Hyung,” Felix hissed and elbowed him again, “stop,”
“There’s somebody alive in there,” she gasped and almost stood up in surprise before she caught herself, “they are scared but they are alive,” she closed her eyes to focus more, fully aware of both men staring at her.
One, no…two scared people?
I smell so many hybrid zombies, so many rodent hybrids.
Her eyes opened and peered over the bench with worry.
“Most of the zombies are rodent hybrids,” she explained as her vision zeroed in on a rat hybrid with torn ear and a rotting tail, green gunk leaking from a gaping wound on his upper thigh, “so they shouldn’t be overly strong to deal with but there are possibly two people stuck in there,” she turned to Felix and frowned a bit when she saw a flicker of hope appear on his face.
“It could be Changbin Hyung,” he whispered as he gripped his frying pan, practically bouncing on the flats of his feet.
Minho paused for a moment and then finally made eye contact with her, his harsh brown eyes causing her to both cower and blush under the intensity.
“If Yongbok and I get the hordes attention, you need to go and get to the back,” he seemed to have already made up his mind as he stood up and shook his bat around, “get going,” he ordered and then nodded to Felix who shared a worried glance with the hybrid.
“Be safe,” she whispered and quickly grabbed his face so she could kiss his forehead, her hands then grabbed Minho’s wrist, “you too,” she was staring at the floor, worried she would see disgust from her touch.
Minho stared down at her before sighing loudly and patting the top of her head quickly.
“Wait till they follow us and then go to the office room,” he recounted, “please wait for us to get back here before you leave,” he rolled his eyes as he saw Felix beaming at his words.
“Okay,”
She whimpered when all contact with both left her; watching in panic when they started yelling, snatching the attention away from the door in the gym.
They ran towards the boys, and she held back a scream of terror as one of the rodents reached for Felix, but the man quickly swung his frying pan down onto the hybrids head.
Minho grabbed Felix’s arm and practically launched the younger man in front of him as they began to run away.
“GO!” he yelled over his shoulder.
She sprinted towards the gym, jumping over the counter and flinching at the loud noise of the computer falling to the floor.
“Open up!” she knocked on the door with worry as she scanned around her once again, “please, I’m here to help you, please!” she begged, still nothing, but she could faintly pick up on whispers in the room.
She then yelled out the only other thing she could think of to let them know she was harmless.
“Ch-Changbin!”
Her stomach twisted in knots as she was surrounded by silence.
The door then slowly opened revealing a rather muscular man with sharp but kind eyes peering through the small opening.
“How do you know my name?” he asked, and she got a little distracted by a taller figure standing behind him, watching her with interest.
“My friend has been looking for you,” she explained, “Felix,” she quickly added knowing that his name along carried a lot of weight going by how Minho had reacted to the younger man.
“Felix?” the man from behind Changbin moved closer and she couldn’t help but notice how handsome all of Felix’s friends were; it was incredibly intimidating, “as in Yongbok?”
“As in Yongbok,” she felt odd calling him that but to see how their faces light up with smiles, made her feel as if she was helping; giving them hope, “he and Minho distracted the crowd around this door…so they’re…not here but they told me to wait for them to get back so we can all be in one group,” she knew she was stumbling over her words and she couldn’t stop her tail from wagging as her hybrid side was finding a lot of comfort in Changbin’s sheer presence.
“You should get in here then,” Changbin pushed the door and stepped aside to let her in; reminding her of staying in a room with Minho, “how do you know them?” he asked, shutting the door once she was safely inside.
“I live with Felix, and I was saved by Minho,” she smiled as she mentioned them and in turn, it made Changbin beam at her.
“So, you’re the hybrid he keeps texting me about,” the taller man chuckled, “you’re a dalmatian right?” he asked, sitting on the office chair.
She blushed and nodded.
“Hyunjin, you’re making her nervous,” Changbin laughed as he continued to watch her face get progressively redder, “but you are just as cute as Felix said,” he then paused with a thoughtful gaze, “is it offensive to ask if I can pet your ears?”
She couldn’t help the giggle that left her.
“It’s not offensive and yeah, just don’t tug at them,” she mumbled and chewed onto her bottom lip when Changbin gently pet at her ears; her tail still going crazy much to Hyunjin’s delight.
“If we find Seungmin, he is going to love you,” Hyunjin chuckled, his eyes widening as she suddenly turned and faced the corner, hands on her stomach.
“Are you okay?” Changbin attempted to get close to her again, but she quickly held up a hand.
“I just feel a little unwell,”
Her stomach was now twisting in a way that is did before being sick and the pressure on the back of her skull was back, making it difficult for her vision to focus.
“Hyung, do you have water?” Hyunjin’s voice was muffled as the two men searched through the bags that gym goers had left there, clearly in a panic.
“I have a few protein shakes,” Changbin ignored the ‘of course you do’ from Hyunjin and approached the hybrid currently breathing heavily.
“Here,”
His voice was so soft and she made the effort to look at him in thanks but waved her hand once more.
“I…I have water in my bag,”
Changbin nodded and made the decision to get the water for her.
“Such a gentleman,” Hyunjin threw Changbin a genuine smile when their eyes met.
Gulping down the rest of the water in the bottle, she then managed to refocus her vision and the pressure in both her throat and head, relaxed a bit.
“Sorry,”
“If you’re not feeling well, then you aren’t feeling well,” Hyunjin shrugged and then his lanky limbs got out of the chair, “don’t apologise,”
She finally turned around and nodded at him with a shy smile, slightly stunned at how close both were to her.
“Thanks,”
Changbin opened his mouth to reply but all three of them were then shocked by the rapid knocking on the door.
“Open up!”
Changbin nearly pulled the door off its hinges as he came face to face with both Minho, who looked exhausted and Felix, whose eyes were already watering as he gazed at his friends.
She quickly moved out of the way as Changbin pulled the two other men into what looked like, a bone-crushing hug.
Hyunjin couldn’t help but let out a yelp when Changbin turned and pulled him into the group hug.
“Of course we’d find you in the gym,” Minho muttered, hiding a smile as the hybrid watched his hands practically claw at the back of Changbin’s shirt as if he was just trying to hug him tighter.
Through all the happiness that was happening before her, she couldn’t help but focus more on the bubbling that was going on in her stomach.
She felt sick. Very sick.
