RE: a post from a while back about twitch's reflection,,BUT. what if their reflection wasn't technically Twitch's reflection at all

what if it was the reflection of who their body was before the cage gardens,,it looks like her, except something is so, so wrong. it's all bedraggled, it staggers around like a corpse, it's barely sentient & can't speak. it's falling to pieces, and inside it's still made out of red honey hive

it was slowly killed alongside the person it was originally a reflection of, and as her memories & sense of self were taken, her reflection wasted away too. once she was a hollow shell, parabola reflected that. but now her body is Twitch, but the reflection,,,isn't. it's still empty. it doesn't do anything except mindlessy shamble around, because it doesn't know what to do

so it follows twitch, as much as it can. it knows this is the body it's supposed to be attached to, but that's all it knows. it tries to mimic them sometimes. but twitch hates it. it's harmless, as far as they know, but it absolutely terrifies them

watching world war z is wild because i literally could not care less about any of the human stuff goimg on but the zombies are SPECTACULAR. a solid example of running zombies. so i spend half the movie either skipping through it or on my phone. there should be like a bechdel test for zombie movies but instead of pretending its about lesbians i want to pretend its about the zombies and not... whatever this is. IF YOU ASK ME the book having a journalist as the main character working to figure out what all happened works sooooo much better than the movie interpretations bootboy, but then again, what ISNT better than a bootboy?
