Uz svesrdnu pomoć Bojovnika Ivice Bajta i njegovog istraživačkog tima, došli smo do imena članova grupe - druga Mladena Plazibata. Tko je dotični Plazibat? Bivši član SDP-a koji je 2003. godine prešao u HNS. Predsjednik udruge "Svi smo mi protiv" i član grupe "SA SDP - om za bolju Hrvatsku". Na FB ima dva profila ali pošto je "soroševac", može raditi  što hoće! Ništa ne bi bilo čudno, da se iz navedenih skupina ne regrutiraju jugo-doušnici, koji se poslije pridružuju Domoljubnim grupama na FBi PRIJAVLJUJU svakoga za koga zaključe da je "opasan". You can hear the artwork on 17th June from 7 pm to 9 pm, and on 18th June 2019 from 2 pm to 6 pm, and on 19th June by appointment only via medikidsart@gmail.com

The sound coming from the fridge is part of Ana's sound archive. Some of you put your memories on the shelves, some fill fridge with food, and Ana  fills the fridge with her sound memories and presents those memories in Art 836 / G Gallery. One of those memories is the noise of a pc cooler.

PC Cool/err, musical composition by Ana Horvat, 2019 Most of the time, what’s considered experimental music derives from serious, sustained play: with genre, with form, with tempo and attention, and even with reality. They came from experimental veterans who have been straining against convention for decades, and they came from young artists starting to cultivate their voice. But all of them, whether they adopt the vernacular of harsh, guttural noise or delicate, synthesized ecosystems, offer reprieve from the repetition of mundane life. One of the such young artists is composer Ana Horvat, who is at the same time experimental and acclectic and furthermore regonizable in her creation, no matter how contradictory that could sound . Ana manages to carve out pockets of time where the rules and limitations of the broader world didn’t bear down quite so harshly. The compositional material of Ana's creations  is not restricted to the inclusion of sonorities derived from musical instruments or voices, nor to elements traditionally thought of as "musical" (melody, harmony, rhythm, metre and so on). The form of electroacoustic music which Ana draws with her sounds is unexpected and unpredicted, and at the same time so "musical". Ana, using innovative acosmatic techniques, merges the sounds from her sound archive and gives us PC Cool/err composition for joyfull listening.

Listen to the sound of a fridge full of sound!

Ana Horvat graduated from the Electronic Composition at the Zagreb Academy of Music (Zlatko Tanodi) and studied composition with Marko Ružđak and Srđan Dedić. The composer has a special interest in joining different areas of art, and for this very reason he often works in collectives and tandem with other artists, robotics, multimedials, IT professionals as well as DIY and DIWO enthusiasts. In April this year, Ana presented a project for children, smartphones and similar gadgets, "Mob music for kids", at the 30th Zagreb Biennale in Zagreb.

2019 series of exhibitions in Art 836/G Gallery is organized by CSDVU, and supported by AKC Medika, hacklab01 and City of Zagreb.

Zvuk koji dopire iz frižidera dio je Anine zvučne arhive. Neki svoje uspomene stavljaju na police, neki pune frižider hranom, a Ana fridge puni svojim zvučnim uspomenama i te uspomene prezentira u Galeriji Art 836/G. Jedna od tih uspomena je i šum pc coolera.

PC Cool/err, glazbena kompozicija Ane Horvat, 2019 Najčešće, ono što se smatra eksperimentalnom glazbom nastaje ozbiljnim, redovnim radom: sa žanrom, sa formom, sa tempom i pažnjom te čak i sa stvarnošću.  Eksperimentalnu glazbu stvaraju  veterani koji se bore protiv konvencija desetljećima, a isto tako dolazi i od mladih umjetnika koji počinju kultivirati svoj zvuk. Ali svi oni, bilo da usvajaju vernakularnost oštrih, guturalnih šumova ili delikatnih, sintetiziranih ekosistema, nude odmak od repeticije svakodnevnog života. Jedna od takvih mladih umjetnica skladateljica  Ana Horvat, koja je istodobno eksperimentalna i eklektična te prepoznatljiva u svom stvaranja, koliko god to zvučalo kontradiktorno. Ona uspijeva  izdubiti male komadiće vremena koje pravila i ograničenosti šireg svijeta ne pokoravaju svojom grubošću.  Materijal Anine kompozicije nije ograničen na uključivanje zvukova dobivenih muzičkim instrumentima ili glasovima, niti  na elemente koji se tradicionalnom smatraju "muzičkim" (melodija, harmonija, ritam, tempo, itd.) Forma elektroakustične glazbe  koju Ana ocrtava svojim zvukovima je začudna, nepredvidljiva, a opet tako "muzikalna". Ana, koristeći inovativne akusmatične tehnike, spaja zvukove iz svoje zvučne arhive te nam daje na slušanje  PC Cool/err skladbu.

Ana Horvat diplomirala je elektroničku kompoziciju na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu (Zlatko Tanodi), a kompoziciju je studirala i s Markom Ruždjakom te Srđanom Dedićem. Skladateljica ima poseban interes za spajanje različitih područja umjetnosti te upravo iz tog razloga vrlo često djeluje u kolektivima i tandemima s drugim umjetnicima, robotičarima, multimedijalcima, informatičarima, kao i DIY and DIWO entuzijastima. Ana je u travnju ove godine na 30. muzičkom biennalu Zagreb predstavila i projekt za djecu, pametne telefone i slične gadgete, “Mob music for kids”.

HRVATSKI FILMOVI ANIMAFESTA 2018

U programu 28. Svjetskog festivala animiranog filma – Animafest Zagreb 2018. mnoštvo je novih i klasičnih filmova hrvatske kinematografije koji pokazuju kako je domaća animacijska scena i dalje globalno relevantna te podjednako snažna u svim svojim autorskim generacijama. ​Prije svega, hrvatski film prisutan je u najprestižnijem Velikom natjecanju kratkometražnog filma s 3 vrhunska rada. Komedija začinjena erotikom i ljetnim bojama koja zahvaća duh malog mediteranskog grada, Biciklisti Veljka Popovića i više su doli posveta legendarnom Vasku Lipovcu. Nakon metafizičkog SF-a Planemo, Popović ponovno uspijeva iznenaditi ne samo tehnikom, već i raskošnim nizanjem erotskih asocijacija u ovom filmu živih boja i duha rađenog u koprodukciji s francuskim Arteom. Jelena Oroz već je svojim prvim autorskim filmom nastalim izvan obrazovne institucije Dva na dva izborila Veliko natjecanje, što ne čudi kada se zna da je još diplomskim Vučje igre ovladala najvećim animacijskim pozornicama. Ostvaren daljnjom razradom idiosinkrazijske 2D tehnike iz Vučjih igara, Dva na dva je poetsko, otkačeno i meditativno senzorno iskustvo metamorfoze i maženja koje kroz zečje, biljne, prehrambene i tjelesne motive progovara o odnosima, dualnostima i intimnom međuprostoru, izazivajući i snažne sinestezijske reakcije. Multimedijalni umjetnik, performer i umjetnički aktivist, autor nagrađivanog filma Spomenik, Igor Grubić u animiranom filmu Kako se kalio čelik odražava pak svoj postojani interes za propast jednog utopijskog projekta i radničkih prava, ali nudi i intimnu priču o međugeneracijskim odnosima. Ostvaren minimalističkom 2D tehnikom nemalo nalik klasicima francusko-beneluške škole u crtanju i sjenčanju, ali apliciranom i na dokumentarne snimke privlačnog osvjetljenja i off-zvuka, film Kako se kalio čelik pripovijeda o posjetu oca i sina razrušenoj tvornici. Na animaciji filma radili su i Marko Meštrović i David Lovrić. Autori dvaju hrvatskih filmova koji se natječu u također međunarodnoj konkurenciji Natjecanja studentskog filma su Katarina Jukić (Paranoja paranoje) i Marko Belić (Flimflam), oboje sa zagrebačke Akademije likovnih umjetnosti, koje osim alme mater povezuje i zanimljiva slučajnost da su oboje 2015. godine sudjelovali u izradi studentske špice Animafesta. Flimflam je priča o susretu dvije jedinke na imaginarnom otoku izvan vremena i prostora, pa se isprva nadaje kao film o samoći, o važnosti komunikacije te je na trenutke čak i vrlo duhovit, s kratkim prelaskom u geg. Nakon toga otkriva se, međutim, kao film o posesivnosti te potom, usprkos svojoj izmještenosti pokazuje i snažan osjećaj povijesnosti. Flimflam je nezaobilazan i zbog svoje vizualne posebnosti s tragovima SF ikonografije, "stripovski" razlomljenog kadriranja kretanja i sposobnosti da slavnu skladbu Vlahe Paljetka preoblikuje u zlokobni znak vremena. Paranoja paranoje također je grafički vrlo kreativna i zabavna vizualizacija studentskog straha pred obavezama. Koloraturno upečatljiv, sa sugestijom stare škole reduciranog crteža u figurativnom prikazu, film je ustvari tek još jedan dokaz u prilog tvrdnji kako hrvatski studenti animacije idu u korak sa svjetskim trendovima – ovakve teme, naime, proteklih smo godine mogli vidjeti u portfelju prestižnih britanskih i američkih animacijskih škola. U Natjecanju filmova za djecu, ponovno međunarodnoj konkurenciji, prikazuju se novi film iz serije Noć u muzeju (Vrlo mokra noć u muzeju) glasovitog ilustratora, strip-autora i redatelja Milana Trenca prema čijoj je istoimenoj slikovnici snimljen igrani američki film, kao i novi radovi produktivnih autora ove vrste animiranog filma Ivane Guljašević (Krila za krokodila) i Denisa Alentija (Nutz). Naposljetku, Miran Miošić, afirmirani montažer, redatelj i profesor igranog i dokumentarnog filma, predstavlja svoj novi animirani film Bijela vrana. Među filmovima Hrvatskog natjecanja pored već spomenutih dominiraju animirano-eksperimentalni radovi, među kojima valja izdvojiti Trip vrlo uspješnog autora srednje generacije Marka Meštrovića, koji se samoodređuje kao film ceste; Monte Adrion Vuka Jevremovića koji se crtežom, fotografijom i računalom animacijski poigrava motivom Biokova; te stop-animacijski Prošlost raste Dee Jagić, koja u prostoriji nadrealističkih karakteristika koristi subjektivni kadar za ontološko promišljanje. Eksperimentalne su i Perforacije Slobodana Tomića - svojevrsni hipnotički mehanički omnibus koji tematizira krhkost civilizacije i otuđenje kroz prikaze razgrađene arhitekture i ponovljivo kretanje figura. Samo plivanje Darka Vidačkovića, također dobro poznatog ljubiteljima rodnih presjecišta animacije i eksperimentale, rukom je crtani minimalistički filozofski SF geometrijskih oblika koji sintetskom glazbom snažno priziva neka ranija razdoblja, a stazama SF ikonografije i nadrealizma krenuo je i Branko Farac, još jedan majstor eksperimentalnog filma i apstraktnog slikarstva, u Technementu – ovoga puta narativnom i figurativnom djelu, ali s alegorijskim potencijalom govora o općim temama kontrole i moći. Smelly Feet Dog i Die Zoone iz umjetničkog kolektiva Trash Will Smash svoj multimedijski portfelj s korijenima u street artu proširili su monokromatskim, hard-boiled animiranim filmom Vizita. Dino Krpan se u svom filmu Malleus Day zaputio pak u 17. stoljeće i napravio mračno-bajkovitu priču o progonu vještica, odnosno o provincijskoj zaostalosti, vjerskom fundamentalizmu, ljubavi i pravdi u upečatljivoj računalnoj crno-bijeloj tehnici. Naposljetku Bobo Andreja Rehaka fantazijska je, računalnom animacijom i ritmičnom glazbom pogonjena začudna priča o patuljastom dječaku koji na kiši odjednom počinje rasti sve do svemirskih razmjera. Taj će se film, kao i obiteljski Crvena jabučica Ane Horvat koji afirmativno, kroz dječju perspektivu progovara o usvajanju, zacijelo dopasti i mlađim gledateljima. Središnji tematski program Animafesta 2018. posvećen je žanru horora, kojim su se zanimali i autori Zagrebačke škole crtanog filma svih generacija, pa izbor domaćih uspješnica žanra u segmentu „Hrvatski bestijarij“ uključuje radove u rasponu od legendi poput Vladimira Jutriše i Aleksandra Marksa (Muha), Pavla Štaltera i Branka Ranitovića (Maska crvene smrti) te Zlatka Boureka (Mačka), preko još aktivnih klasika poput Joška Marušića (Riblje oko) i Zlatka Pavlinića (Kugina kuća), do trenutnih perjanica hrvatske animacije Marka Meštrovića i Davora Međurečana (Silencijum) te Simona Bogojevića Naratha (Levijatan). A tko voli Zagrebačku školu neće zaobići ni tradicionalnu selekciju klasika u izboru Borivoja Dovnikovića – Borde, ovoga puta iz 1970. godine. Pogledajte još jednom filmove autora kao što su Milan Blažeković (Čovjek koji je morao pjevati), Zlatko Bourek (Školovanje), Ante Zaninović (Ornitologija), Dušan Vukotić (Ars Gratia Artis), Nedeljko Dragić (Susjedi), Aleksandar Marks i Vladimir Jutriša (Pčelica je rođena). Ovaj iznimno bogat presjek klasičnih hrvatskih animiranih filmova upotpunit će i 3 djela iz serije Profesor Baltazar kojoj ovogodišnji Animafest obilježava 50. godišnjicu (Maestro koko, Leteći Fabijan, Vjetrovita priča). Filmovi se mogu vidjeti u Ljetnom kinu Gradec u sklopu Animacikla, u nedjelju 3. lipnja od 19 do 22 te u subotu 9. lipnja od 11 sati u Kinoteci, nakon predstave Profesor Baltazar – Put oko svijeta. Hrvatske koprodukcije i dobitnice Animafestovog Grand prixa i Nagrade publike Noćna ptica Špele Čadež i Ježeva kuća Eve Cvijanović bit će prikazane na Animafest Open Airu, na Ribnjaku u subotu 2. lipnja od 21:30, a Ježeva kuća i istoga dana od 11 sati u kulturnim centrima Travno i Dubrava te od 20 sati na otvorenom u Centru za kulturu i informacije Maksimir. ​Naposljetku, na posebnoj projekciji, u subotu 9. lipnja u kinu Tuškanac (20 sati), Animafestova publika moći će ekskluzivno vidjeti i dugometražni animirano-dokumentarni film Anje Kofmel Chris the Swiss, još jednu hrvatsku koprodukciju koja je ove godine igrala i u Cannesu u programu Tjedan kritike. ​28. Svjetski festival animiranog filma – Animafest Zagreb 2018. održava se od 4. do 9. lipnja u kinima Europa, Tuškanac i Kinoteka te na brojnim drugim gradskim lokacijama. Filmski program čini 400 filmova iz više od 44 svjetske zemlje, a uz prestižna natjecanja u kojima sudjeluju oskarovci i zvijezde globalne animacijske scene, tu su i središnji tematski program posvećen hororu u animaciji, multimedijalna proslava 50. obljetnice serije Profesor Baltazar, retrospektivni programi posvećeni svjetskim i hrvatskim klasicima te baltičkim kinematografijama, open airovi i animacikliranje, izložbe i radionice te program za profesionalce Animafest PRO, kao i bogat Program za djecu i mlade. Croatia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 23 times since making its debut at the 1993 contest. Between 1993 and 2011, the Croatian entrant was selected at the Dora pop festival, an event organised by the national public broadcaster Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT). Croatia's best result in the contest is fourth-place finishes in 1996 and 1999.

Croatia first reached the top ten in 1995, when Magazin & Lidija Horvat-Dunjko finished sixth. This would be the first of six top ten results in seven years. Maja Blagdan was fourth in 1996, Danijela Martinović (who had previously participated as a member of Magazin) was fifth in 1998, Doris Dragović (who finished 11th for Yugoslavia in 1986) was fourth in 1999, Goran Karan was ninth in 2000, and Vanna was tenth in 2001. Since then, Croatia has failed to reach the top ten.

Since the introduction of the semi-final round in 2004, Croatia has failed to reach the final on five occasions, including four years in succession from 2010 to 2013. Croatia then withdrew from the contest in 2014 and 2015. On its return Croatia reached the final in both 2016 and 2017.

HRT, the Croatian national broadcaster announced that Franka Batelić will fly to Lisbon next May and will represent Croatia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with the song 'Crazy'.

The broadcaster held an internal selection to determine their country's representative. The song is composed by Branimir Mihaljević, who also was responsible for the music of Croatia's 2010 entry, Lako je sve by Femminem. The lyrics were written by Franka Batelić. The song will be presented today in the radio programme Drugi dio dana. There Franka will talk about her participation and the song together with HRT's Music Editor Zlatko Turkalj Turki.  

About Franka

Franka Batelić was born 1992 in Rijeka, Croatia. She rose to fame in her native country when she won in 2007 the season of Showtime, a TV show similar to Pop Idol. She also competed in the Croatian Eurovision national selection Dora in 2009 and 2010, but without success. In December 2009, Franka won Ples sa zvijezdama, the Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars with her dance partner Ištvan Varga. In 2011 she was featured in the songs On Fire and Run, with who she had also success outside of Croatia. After a break from music she came back at the end of 2017 and released her song S tobom what became a commercial success in Croatia.   Franka is very excited about going to lisbon:

"When I was two years old, I was standing in front of our tv set, holding a remote control instead of a microphone, singing the lyrics of Tony Cetinski's, Nek' ti bude ljubav sva from the Eurovision 1994. That girl never stopped dreaming. And now the dream is coming true! I will present Croatian Radio and Television and the Republic of Croatia to Eurovision. I would like to thank the Croatian Radio Television for their invitation and expressed confidence. My team and I are aware of the responsibilities that this presentation brings, we are ready for the challenge and we will do our very best to represent Croatia in the best possible way in Portugal in May."    

Franka Batelić will preform her song Crazy in second half of the First Semi-Final on 8th of May at the Altice Arena in Lisbon.

Croatia in Eurovision

Croatia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 and has participated 23 times since then. Last year the country was represented by Jacques Houdek with the song My Friend, who finished 12th in the final in Kiev.  

The 1990 Eurovision Song Contest was held in Zagreb following Yugoslavia's win in 1989.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will be the 63rd edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It will take place for the first time in Portugal following the country's first victory at the 2017 contest in Kiev, Ukraine with the song "Amar pelos dois", performed by Salvador Sobral. The contest will be held at the Altice Arena in Lisbon and will consist of two semi-finals on 8 and 10 May and a final on 12 May 2018. The three live shows will be hosted by Filomena Cautela, Sílvia Alberto, Daniela Ruah and Catarina Furtado.

On 8 January 2018, RTP and EBU announced that the contest would be hosted for the first time by four female presenters, consisting of RTP hosts Sílvia Alberto, Filomena Cautela and Catarina Furtado, together with actress Daniela Ruah. It will be the first time since 2015 that the contest does not feature a male presenter, and the second consecutive year that the presenters are all the same gender.

Visual design

The twelve supplemental emblems for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

The theme for the contest, All Aboard!, was unveiled on 7 November 2017 in a press conference held at the Lisbon Oceanarium. Its visual design features oceanic motifs that allude to Lisbon and Portugal's location on the Atlantic coast and to the country's seafaring history. Alongside the main emblem, which depicts a stylised seashell, twelve supplemental emblems were designed to symbolise different aspects of a marine ecosystem. The contest's Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand remarked that the theme and logos "resonate with Lisbon’s history and underscore Eurovision's core values, including diversity, very well. The Ocean connects all of us and its variety can provide good inspiration for each of the (...) participating broadcasters that we look forward to seeing in Lisbon next May.

Forty-three countries will participate in the contest, equalling the record of the 2008 and 2011 editions. Russia will return after their absence from the previous edition, and for the first time since 2011, no country will be withdrawing from the contest.
