These are the last pages of the accordion zine that I made for Coin Operated Press' International Zine Month: Folds and Bindings Challenge! Fun fact: when this zine is folded out in it's entirety, it stands taller than me!

I took a lot of influence from my penchant for maximalism in interior design, and I also drew on my partner's love for green, and our mutual enjoyment of plants and comfort. I love the vision that comes from this zine and I also really enjoyed including text in a different way in this zine!

aside from coolors i really love adobe color!! it has color palette generator [triads, monochrome, complementary, etc.], accessibility tools, palettes+gradients extractors, and color palettes inspired by trends within diff industries.

we all know and love them: photopea [photoshop but free and on a browser?!] and canva [no introduction needed im sure]

upscale the resolution / quality of pics it says anime but it works really well with most stuff like video game screenshots [gets rid of hard edges/pixels]

House Colours (2/3)

I made this zine for Coin Operated Press' International Zine Month: Folds and Bindings Challenge last month, for the 'Accordion Fold' prompt! This is one of my favourites that I have made for the challenge :D

I had been collecting pictures and things from magazines and newspapers I had read when the content reminded me of an abstract idea of home that I think of as a comfort mechanism. I knew that I wanted to do something with the things that I had gathered, and then I had the idea to use them to make a vision board type of zine! The inspiration is the kind of home that I would like to have with my partner <3
