The one thing I’m still most devastated about (besides losing him) is the freedom, happiness and love that they did not get to have. They have had to live so much of the last 14 year in silence, in secret. They have to had lie about who they were with, what they were doing. They have to put up with disgusting allegations that are lies being said about them. All just so they can continue being in love with each other. And because of that their love never ever weakened for each other. Their love for each other as each others partner just grew stronger. And in death Zayn loves Liam more than ever. Oh how I wish it could have been different for him, for them. Oh how I wish Zayn didn’t have to lose his husband in this kind of away. They met at McDonald’s and their lives were instantly forever changed. They were made to meet each other and made to fall in love because Zayn was the only person that was the one for Liam and Liam was the only person that was the one for Zayn. In every single lifetime they were made to find each other. So as devastating as it is that they didn’t get the ending they deserved in this lifetime they will meet each other and fall in love again with each other in the next lifetime. Hopefully in that lifetime they’re free to be who they want to be and free to love each other unconditionally😢❤️💛

Is it really over?

So… is it really over? I’ve been asking myself that question a lot lately. Liam’s passing has left a mark on me that will never truly fade. I know this stab at my heart will take years, maybe even a lifetime, to heal. I tried to gather my thoughts and find a little comfort by writing the following down, and I hope you’ll find some comfort in it too.

🩷 The boys may no longer make music together, but does that mean the impact they made on us is gone? Of course not. The connection we have with their music and the memories we made will always be part of the “story of our lives.” Instead of seeing it as the end, let’s think of it as moving into a new era. We’ve grown, the boys have grown, and our love for them has grown in new ways too.

🩷 Yes, it’s true that the years won’t come back, but we can revisit them anytime through their music and memories.

🩷 We can immerse ourselves in the nostalgia without guilt. Maybe we’ll rewatch This Is Us, scroll through Tumblr pages, watch their video diaries, fan edits, or interviews.

🩷 One Direction wasn’t just another boy band, they were a feeling. They shaped an entire generation without even realizing it, while the boys were just having fun. In many ways, they taught us how to laugh, dream, and connect with a community. That energy is larger than life and still lives in us.

🩷 We can always celebrate their anniversaries. The boys’ birthdays, their X Factor debut, album releases, and in doing so, we’ll always feel how big a part of our lives they still are.

🩷 We can treat the boys’ solo careers as a new chapter in their One Direction story. Their voices and essence are still present in each of their solo projects. The boys are living happy lives, still living the dream they worked so hard for, and we’re happy for them with all our hearts.

🩷 This fandom will always be a part of us. The joy, hope, and excitement we felt as Directioners shaped who we are today, and that part of us is never gone, it never will be.

🩷 Not everyone gets to experience something as powerful as being part of a fandom like this. We’ve been part of something magical, and we’ll always wear it as a badge of honor, a kind of talisman of comfort, joy, warmth, and hope.

🩷 Yes, we love the boys, and yes, they were a huge part of our lives. But we have to remember that life goes on and we have to participate in it, finding new joys and interests. Our love for them doesn’t have to fade just because life moves on.

🩷 In our own little ways, we can make this world a better place, maybe for just one person, making their day slightly better than it could have been. Just like how Liam always tried to. Even the “little things,” small acts of kindness, can honor Liam’s legacy.

🩷 We can create art, write poetry, blogs, poetry, we can journal about how much One Direction meant to us growing up and how Liam’s passing has stirred these emotions.

🩷 Embracing our fangirl or fanboy side unapologetically is another way to honor them. We can dive back into our passionate ways of fangirling while connecting with other Directioners in spaces like this. Without judgment, we can share how we feel in these little 1D communities. We can even contribute to fan projects to deepen our connection with this wholesome fandom.

🩷 Personally, I wrote a letter to Liam in my journal, talking about how much I love him. I even confessed how guilty I felt for not following his solo career as closely as I could have. I’ll always carry Liam’s memory with me.

🩷 Instead of “holding on to heartbreak,” we can hold on to hope. Maybe the boys will reunite someday, but even if they don’t, we need to remember that, every time we listen to their songs, relive old memories, or talk to another Directioner, they really ARE reunited, in our eternally Directioner hearts. 💙💚❤️💛🤍

Oh, anon! When I read Zayn's tribute for Liam, I- The regret in his words that he didn't make up with him before he died, I can't imagine how much the thought of it must be haunting him. I really don't care who pushed who against the wall, or butted heads. There's a love there that none of us will ever understand.

'I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you'd hear me.' 'Can't explain to you what I'd give to just give you a hug one last time and say goodbye to you properly and tell you that I loved and respected you dearly.' Those minor arguments must have seemed so miniscule in the grand scheme of things. When we take someone's presence in our life for granted, there's a lot we don't say, or we don't do. Doesn't mean we love them any less. It's just so heartbreaking that they had so much love for each other and didn't get to make it known. I can't imagine a bigger tragedy than this, honestly.

Zayn was always labelled as a bad boy, with tattoos and piercings and a cigarette behind his ear. I don't want to go into the reason behind this *cough cough* racism *cough cough.* It's so clear it's just a farce. This guy, who reads poetry, paints, and cries because he couldn't save his chicken. Mr. Malik has always been a softie at heart and the person who brought it out the most in him was Liam. With Louis, he could be all Bus 1 and sharp tongues and I -don't -give- a -shit, but with Liam- right from the start, he has been the warmest. All hugs, warm smiles and 'Leeyum'. Like Liam was the most adorable thing he had ever seen, which I don't blame him for. They were always cuddling and nuzzling each other. It was clear they meant a lot to each other. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Right next to you, Leeyum.

I, for one, hoped so desperately that someday we might have Zayn and Liam collab on a song- can you imagine? The notes they would hit together. Anyway, it's too late now and that's just so devastating to say.

Sending lots of love to Zayn, hope he is able to grieve in peace. My heart breaks for him. Ziam will always remain my golden boys.

I can't believe that it's already been a week without my favorite 1D member!

Hello?! All I want to do is wake up from this bad dream called a nightmare and know that Liam is still here. But I can't because this is real. I can't even accept the fact that he's gone!!

Like I've always said, It wasn't his to go yet, and he was still too young to leave.

This talented and amazing man, still had so many years including watching his kiddo grow up. And as time would’ve gone on death should've waited until it was actually Liam's time to go (but even then it still would’ve been heartbreaking and devastating either way) but no this soon.

Liam once said back in 2013, "It seems to me that when I die these words will be written on my stone".

Rest in heavenly Paradise Angel. The boys and everyone all miss you and love you so much. Fly high angel.

Hii. I’m 24 and I’ve been doing rp since 2016. I took a break in 2022. My main role is Niall and I’m playing with a Zayn already.

We’re looking for at least 3 more people to join our rp! You could be Harry, Louis, Liam, or any other male celebrity you prefer! I want us to get to know each other and our personalized 1D characters, and let friendships, relationships, and everything else happen naturally.

I don’t have any restrictions or rules because there weren’t any in my old group. Nothing was off limits, which made it more fun. I just want you to be yourself and bring your character to life. Of course, if there are things you’re uncomfortable with, please let me know.

I’d like to roleplay with other young adults. I prefer +20

I write in script-form, not literary-form.

I use correct grammar and spelling.

Storyline/Theme:

Everything my character has gone through will remain in the story. Starting fresh would make me sad because I worked hard on Niall’s growth. Basically, we’re human beings living in the real world. We could be famous or average. We do not have to know each other or be in a band.
