Erza Scarlet: Hogwarts AU

Erza Scarlet is a Pureblood witch that was born on the 7th of April 1971 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1982, being sorted into Gryffindor house.

She has a Fir wand with a Phoenix Feather core.

She has a non-corporeal patronus.

Her favorite subject is Defense Against the Dark Arts and her least favorite subject is History of Magic.

She was one of the Gryffindor Prefects of her year.

Erza is a very strict person, often criticizing the bad behavior and habits of the other members of Gryffindor house, causing most of them to apologize, fearing that they might invoke her wrath. She is also very impatient, disliking people who don't answer her questions quickly enough. This, coupled with her own tragic childhood, caused many of her classmates to avoid her due to her social awkwardness. However, she has a great sense of justice and pride in being a member of Gryffindor house.

According to Lucy, in the letter she wrote for her mother, Erza is "cool and beautiful, warm and full of passion", while to Zeref Dragneel, Erza is strong, cool and a little scary but relied on by everyone, even so she can be really girly and liked sweet things and cute clothes. Jellal, when he had lost his memories, remembering nothing but the name "Erza", said her name was "full of kindness, brightness and warmth".

Erza describes herself as someone who was always crying, since she wasn't able to protect those dear to her. Several examples are when Rob tried to shield her from destruction, and when Jellal was captured because he saved her and was put under the Imperius Curse by "Zeref". Also, Erza has stated that she feels uncomfortable and insecure when she's not having her wand within reach. However, when Erza encounters Ikaruga, she overcomes her fear and defeats her without her magic.

Despite her reserved personality and mostly dressing in her school uniform, Erza has been shown to have very little modesty and an unusual view on the concept in general. Many of her casual outfits are skimpy, revealing and feminine, and when out of her school uniform she has an affinity for sexy and revealing clothing. Finally, Erza seems to have no problem with men (or at least the males in Gryffindor house) seeing her naked. She felt no discomfort stating her desire to shower with Natsu and Gray or the fact that she used to shower with them when they were younger. When they were in the Prefects' Bathroom, when she learned that the boys may have been peeping on her and the other girls, she wanted to invite them to bathe with them, much to Wendy's shock and Lucy's strong objection. Lucy has also stated that Erza has a habit of climbing into her bed in their shared room during the Quidditch World Cup.

It was shown that Erza can't hold her liquor. While drunk, she acts very aggressive towards others, as shown by her behavior towards her fellow Gryffindors. She also seems to have a problem recognizing people when drunk.

My problem with fanservice in Anime always comes down to tone. Usually on a scene by scene basis but even then, indiviudual titles are a bit... frustrating. I wouldn’t get into some kinky shit like Maken-Ki for any deep plot when the, erm, character designs and... scenarios are what I’m here for. Saucy if problematic beach episodes are to be expected.

Though we’d be hear all day if we applied the age issue to the whole matter.

But then you get other series that seem more invested in the story and characters yet have a smattering of smut with little care for tone. At times, one can point to a overall Manga magazine editor or studio head that was prioritizing what readers would come for vs. letting the author just tell their tale.

Other times like with Hiro Mashima’s various works, the author’s clearly shameless of sharing what turns them on with things straight from DeviantArt. Some of this is a lot more egrigious in side chapters which show the case in relaxed situations to get all silly and sleazy.

Yet you also get aspects like general character designs and situation in the main story arcs with input made by the author’s boner. Ultear faces Zeref while squating so the camera can get a good angle of her ass. Flare Corona cries upon returning home... with an underneath shot of her boobs sticking out.

Those moments got me like Professor Oak. Time and place, man.

RWBY is far from any of this and is amazing since one would think that a male majority writing team even back then would try to emphasis Yang’s... boobs.

Sorry to bring up discourse but the beach episode shit is so insane and makes me so mad. I hate that the concept of "main characters have a fun day at the beach" has been turned into this gross sexualized thing. Like, I would love an episode where RWBY gets to have fun on a beach and build sandcastles and take turns tossing Weiss into the ocean. But because we can't have nice things that'll never happen, because people insist on being creeps. It's so stupid also because beaches aren't actually very sexy. Juvia worked for Spriggan while Gray worked for Fairy Tail, two rival gangs. The bad blood ran deep between the groups resulting in several deadly feuds. Spriggan is run by Zeref and Fairy Tail by Natsu. The pair were brothers, not that that mattered to either of them.

Juvia and Gray met while she worked small gigs, going anywhere she was requested. The first time they had sex, Gray solely slept with her to work out his frustrations. Neither intended it to last more than one time. The next time they meet, it is by chance while visiting a club. Both were very intoxicated and full of lust; they used each other again as an outlet. This happened on several more occasions, but as time went on, their visits with each other lasted longer. It started as boring pillow talk, but eventually, they both found themselves opening up to each other. They didn't know they were from enemy gangs at first, but when they found out, they settled on a "won't ask, won't tell" agreement - not wanting to ruin what they developed.

This agreement wouldn't last; however, after one night together, Juvia cried, saying she could no longer see Gray anymore. Although starting low in the organization, Zeref began to take notice of Juvia. He didn't want her to work small gigs anymore and made her one of his central girls so she could be closer to him. Still allowing Juvia to visit clients, she and Gray were able to continue to meet this way. Of course, he'd have to pay, which always made Juvia feel disgusted with herself. He never had to pay for their previous times together; since she was working gigs, she got paid by the event owner and just worked. Now sex between her and Gray was directly transactional, but he ensured her he didn't care and was happy they could still have these moments.

Always just moments, Zeref's reign was too powerful, and they knew that they could never actually be together, so in those moments, the world no longer existed and belonged to just the two of them.

Gray always hated Zeref, he was a part of Fairy Tail, after all, but after meeting Juvia, he wanted nothing more than to skin him alive. Thoughts of them together plagued his mind when she wasn't with him. Zeref did not deserve Juvia.

He roughly pulled her hands from their spots on him, pinning them above her head as he crashed his lips on her. She gasped at his change of pace, and Gray used this opportunity to push his tongue into her mouth. Feeling the warm muscle against hers, they both battled for dominance.

Juvia whined with need as her warm center ached; she lifted her body to meet his trying to create contact. She could feel his member stiffen and grow hard against her leg, showing Juvia that he wanted her.

She was still worn from their time together earlier, and she hoped their time together would be soft and gentle. She wanted Gray to make love to her, but Juvia knew that would not be the case when recognizing his motions.

Gray pulled himself away from her, causing her to miss his contact. His hands grasped her waist, tugging her down from her slopped spot on the bed and turning her face down in one fluid movement. Their times together were fleeting, never long, and never drawn out, but tonight Gray felt something in him begin to snap. Like he had something to prove.

Gray settled behind her, raising her hips to align her center with his painfully hard member. He entered in one fluid motion, barely giving Juvia time to adjust to his size before pulling out, only to slam back into her. She couldn't hold back her loud moans as he continued fucking her with such great force.

The room was filled with the sound of skin slapping, Gray's animalistic grunts, and Juvia's breathy cries. She shoved her face into the pillow below her to muffle her noise, but she felt Gray's body lean over hers, and his hand tangled its way into her messy locks. He grabbed a fist full of her blue hair, pulling her up as he harshly spoke into her ear.

"Let me hear you," His thrust became quicker, giving Juvia no choice but to oblige. She lifted herself on her hands, trying to get some control over Gray's resolve.

"Who do you belong to?" Gray asked, clenched through his teeth. But, of course, they both knew the answer to this. They both knew she was Zeref's. No matter how much they both wish it weren't the case, they knew it was Zeref's bed she'd end the night with, but right here, right now, Juvia only wanted to indulge in the false bittersweet fantasy.

"Juvia is Gray-sama's." Lies. Painful lies. "Juvia belongs to Gray-sama," She cried, his pounding only became rougher, and she was starting to lose herself. His hands snaked over her body, one circling her clit at a rapid pace while the other fumbled her breast, roughly pinching and pulling at her nipples.

"You're mine. Only mine." His tone sounded as if he was trying to convince her along with himself.

Juvia tried to speak, but she fumbled her words as Gray continued to pleasure her body in ways only he knew how. "Juvia is only yours."

When Gray felt her start clenching tighter around him and left out a loud moan, he knew he wouldn't last much longer, but his resolve to get Juvia over the edge first was stronger.

He fastened his pace, paying attention to the soft pink bundle of nerves between her thighs. Juvia's arms gave out from under her, but Gray's grasp on her waist kept her lower body up. The change in angle allowed Gray to hit deeper into her than previously, and Juvia knew she couldn't handle more of this. Her hands reached behind her to Gray's thighs needing more contact with him; as his fingers worked faster on her clit she clawed her nails into him, whimpering at his sinful acts.

"Gray-sama" Hearing his name from her lips in her sultry tone was enough for him to slip the last bit of control he was holding on to. The feeling overwhelmed his body as he felt like he had fallen into a pit of ecstasy.

Feeling her lover release inside her, Juvia also let herself reach her peak; waves of pleasure flowed through her as her core throbbed.

She was the first to collapse, and Gray carefully pulled himself out of her and fell into the open space beside her. She felt their warm mixture begin to spill out of her, but Juvia was too tired to make any move to clean herself. She never worried about Gray cuming in her. After all, she was one of Zeref's girls, and being one of Zeref's girls meant your body belonged to him whenever he needed you, no exceptions and no liabilities. Falling pregnant would put the girls out of work, hindering his business, so Zeref had all his girls sterilized.

Luckily, Gray still had their rag from their time earlier and took care of her. Gray softened and curled into Juvia's side despite his previous relentless behavior. His arms wrapped around her as he pulled her closer to kiss her forehead.

His warmth, his love, these are the things that made it hard for Juvia to leave, but she knew she had already been out for too long. Zeref would surely question her when she returned, but he would possibly send men out to find her if she were out any longer. No one kept Zeref's things from him, especially not his favorite things.

"Juvia has to leave soon," Juvia spoke, breaking the silence.

"Just a little longer." He replied, tightening his arms around her.

This was always the hard part. The part they couldn't avoid no matter how many times they emotionally and mentally prepared for it.

"You know Juvia can't. Juvia already stayed longer than she should have." Juvia tried to reason.

Letting out a reluctant sigh, Gray released her from his grasp, and she moved off the bed slowly. She could feel his eyes bore holes into her back as she slipped her clothes back on and grabbed the remainder of her things.

Before making her way to the door, Juvia walked over to Gray's side of the bed and sat beside him. She moved his distressed hair from his face and caressed his cheek, leaning down to kiss him passionately, not too fast, but not too slow. Just enough to express her love.

Gray's hand caught the back of her head, deepening the kiss but still allowing her to have control. After a few seconds, Juvia pulled back and pressed her forehead against his. "Until next time, my dear Gray-sama."

"Until next time," Gray repeated, stealing one last kiss before Juvia left her spot beside him and left through the door, leaving the ghost of her presence behind.

It hadn't even been a few minutes since Juvia walked through the door that she was being summoned to Zeref's personal quarters. She had no doubt she'd receive a punishment tonight, being over an hour late, and she knew better than to keep him waiting.

Juvia announced herself and knocked on his door before allowing herself in. She twisted the knob, closing the door quietly and locking it behind her as she did every night.

The darkroom is illuminated by the moon's bright light from the open balcony doors. Zeref leaned against the railing, looking out into the sky; if she didn't know all he was capable of, she would have thought that he looked so peaceful.

Juvia moved to the spot next to him and stood beside him silently without saying a word. She didn't say anything when he moved behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, and rested his chin on her shoulder.

"You're late" knowing he wasn't just stating a fact but instead giving her a chance to explain herself, she spoke up.

"Juvia was with a client." She reached in her pocket to pull out the cash she received from Gray. Like always, Zeref took the money and handled her back a small percentage.

He released his arms from around her and turned her to face him. His finger lifted her head so she could meet his gaze.

"Ah yes, your client" Zeref spoke the last word with venom, and Juvia tried beside her not to let her composure waiver. "It seems like this client has been taking a lot of your time lately."

"Just loyal, Juvia supposes." Juvia tried to reason. She felt her back press metal rails as he put his arms on the sides of her, caging her in. The taller man leaned closer to her, so they were face to face, a sign of intimidation, no doubt.

He studied her face for a bit before leaning down and taking her lips on his own. Juvia kissed back, gripping the front of his shirt, not giving any reasons to upset him.

After a while, he released her and looked at her angrily. "You still smell like him." He spat, pushing her to the side away from him.

"Juvia has not had the chance to get clean." Zeref hummed in disapproval and looked back to the sky.

"You know Juvia," He began to speak without looking at her. "You remind me a lot of a star. Do you know why?"

"Juvia can not say she does."

"Because you are just one amongst many, it is easy to lose you in a crowd and get overlooked, but it's hard to look away once you are found. You shine bright and make others perplexed and amazed at your beauty - but just like a star, you will eventually fade. Your once blinding light will burn out into the dark abbess of nothingness with no story or legacy left behind."

Zeref grasped Juvia's forearm roughly and pulled her to him until they were nose to nose; his brows narrowed, and his mouth frowned. His grip bruised her as every second passed. "You are far too bright to burn out now, and in all honesty, I can't say I am ready to let you go." His other hand clasped her cheek; his soft touch would have made the moment feel nurturing if not for his painful vise hold on her arm. "But you will do well remembering your place, do you understand?"

Juvia nodded, but his grip only got tighter at her lack of words. "Juvia understands." She whimpered in pain. Due to his sadistic nature, Zeref enjoyed Juvia's sounds of distress and the little noises she let out. He tightened his hold more, his nails seeping into her skin, drawing another sound from her lips.

Satisfied, he released her and watched as she raised her arm to her chest as she tried to avoid his gaze. He stared at her with a smile, his pants starting to feel tight.

"Go shower, and never come to me smelling like another man. Next time I won't be as forgiving."

"Juvia understands. She will make it quick, Zeref-san." He continued to stare at her with disapproval until she noticed her mistake and corrected herself. "Sorry, Zeref-sama."

He smiled and patted her head. "Good girl, now hurry back."

Nodding at his last words, Juvia rushed off with her uneasiness following her.

It wasn't until he kneeled before Her Grace to receive his pardon that the reality of Zeref's defeat truly began to sink in. He should've felt relief. He should've felt some sense of accomplishment; some sense of redemption.

He didn't. He felt conflicted. Directionless. Like he was standing at a dead end, trying to figure out how to continue forward without going back.

All this time spent fighting, all this time seeking to protect, dispelling shadows, opening wounds; all this time, yet he felt no different that day than the day before it. Deep down, he knew why. It would never matter how many times he'd been forgiven. He would never feel any different until he learned to forgive himself.

In the wake of Fiore's collective victory, he felt a new kind of defeat. All this time, the one thing he neglected to do was heal.
