Going through victory road in bw2 rn (both delightful in its winding length and a slog all at once) and so the game’s not technically over plot wise, we’ve gotten past the main plasma part so the real story’s just about done and I’m trying to find ways to merge my hcs with it to make it more compelling…. Nate (who goes by his middle name of ailbhe) in my ‘verse (which is mostly based on my adoring following of a semi-nuzlocke comic someone was doing on deviantart and never finished… TT-TT) comes across as a very mild mannered young man, very friendly; very battle competent, very thorough. takes his losses with grace. (tbh isn't this a common characterization tho........ whatever)

I started out my playthrough w the vague notion that while Nate is, on paper, going on his pokemon journey because he’s good at battling and enjoys it, he has the primary objective of figuring out What The Hell Happened To Gwyn (Hilda), the cousin he very much looked up to; he's using the excuse of adventuring to retrace her footsteps, and the goal of becoming champion-class to be able to access otherwise restricted routes and resources. (I’m almost glad in a way bw2’s plot was so bare, gives me opportunity to Go Ham (Chiquita Dave) in the sandbox of canon). I’m… not sure if I still want to go by that angle tho. I think his mom and aunt (gwyn’s mom) were very shaken by gwyn going missing, understandably, and I’d think it’s the kind of thing that would make his mom very worried about him on his journey, to the point where she’s both very excited for him to get out there but terrified something like that would happen to him, so he’d promise to stay out of trouble and focus on battling, which should’ve been easy bc team plasma’s been officially disbanded for years…. but it’s a promise he can’t keep. tying into the trend of people projecting both truth and ideals onto him as a kyurem mirror, he also struggles in that gray area for a bit; to search for gwyn or not, and whether he wants to find her, or find out what happened to her (colress poses this particular dilemma when Nate talks about the two goals interchangeably).

Another reason I think why he does what he does and gets so involved in the plasma plot despite his own promises and the danger (Hugh’s subplot notwithstanding) is that he has an encounter with zekrom before gwyn goes missing, and while I don’t mean to write every object or creature of power as some vaguely eldritch subject, zekrom and reshiram existing as someone’s literal embodiments of the desire for ideals/truth makes their presence at least a little intense, especially if you haven’t had any exposure to that level of power before. anyways what happens is gwyn goes home after beating N and ghetsis and hangs there for a while after the craziness of bw, and at some point Nate and his mom come over to visit! and Nate is told hushedly and sternly not to go near the paddock behind the barn or whatever. and he says yes of course auntie But it’s entirely possible he forgets (or his curiosity gets the better of him) and he’s wandering around the farm property at nightfall and he wanders back to that paddock and it takes him a little bit to start to understand what he’s seeing. at first it looks like just a pile of black, which isn’t normal for the the paddocks, but then it starts moving, in shapes he doesn’t understand; but then they become wings, and a tail, and then a neck and a head and eyes like red embers are looking at him, seeing him, and as the blood is rushing in his ears and at some point every hair stood up on his body and he can taste the static on his tongue he understands who he’s looking at and why he wasn’t supposed to be back here. and then zekrom looks away and curls back up to resume its nap, bc Nate is so small compared to it both physically and in purpose, and even if he was enough to be regarded with anything beyond disdainful apathy he has sort of gwyn smell like her den mother, so that means they’re kin its human’s kin are extended the grace of neutrality, and as it resumes its sleep the electricity in the air fades but Nate’s still breathing like he run a mile and it’s still hard to hear the sound of the trees rustling, but then gwyn is there and her hand is on his shoulder and she’s guiding him back around the barn, and reality snaps back in to place at some point but he’s forever a changed man bc one does not simply have an encounter with one of the legendary dragons and feel unshaken by it (unless you’re like N, in which being able to understand pokemon makes the initial weirdness easier to handle; or not, in which case N is just that weird) (or like ghetsis, who’s got enough layers of delusion going on that it doesn’t bother him too too much)

But Yeah. It’s the kind of thing one stays up late thinking about, staring at the wall at 3 in the morning, feeling slightly disconnected from everything else. Kind of guy who seems normal on the surface but inside has something deeply wrong with him except not something wrong with him he's just had an encounter with a living god-spirit-thing that has changed him in some small but irrevocably important way that he can ignore 99% of the time but when that 1% hits.

ive never realized how difficult it is to especially find shiny-based items before now, but i did my best! your package has a bit more items than usual, mostly because there are a few alt items.

first off the keychains; the one i originally found that i like more - the more expensive one - was actually for hisuian zorua, i didnt't realize that until i had already linked everything. so i added an alt keychain plush that's just a unovian zorua head, both are linked for you to choose which you liked better, as i wasn't sure if you were okay with hisuain versions of items.

there are two pins, the zekrom/reshiram interlocking pins - they need to be bought seperately, or, 2 pins seperately paid for - and a shiny charm pin that i thought was charming - no pun intended.

i added a shiny zorua sticker and a keychain with N and a zorua as well.

as i wasn't sure if your N had zekrom or reshiram, ive added links to both plushes for you to choose between.

your bonus item is an N amigurumi keychain, because they always look so cute to me ( i see the basil/sunny OMORI ones all the time ^^ ).

Pokesona/OC Post

Just going making a write up of info/lore about my own ocs since I keep trying to keep track of this in a discord server with Primal and I need to like ORGANIZE THIS. Two characters will be discussed here, Lee Marie, the real Pokesona, and then we’ve got Yolanda who is just an OC who I put into every story because it’s funny.

Lee Marie:

Originally I made her as a Rymesona/Detective Pikachu verse, but I’ve adjusted her story to be more around the games and just because I am in LOVE with N from BW.

Current lore is that she was born in Unova, but her family moved to Sinnoh when she was young. She began a Pokemon journey at age 10 like most kids, with Chimchar as her starter. She failed early on at the Elite Four and lost heart, abandoning her journey and returning home and starting a “normal” life. She hid her depression overtime by throwing herself into studying to become a fashion designer, and became a young celebrity before she was twenty. She always longed to go back to adventuring though, and one day her old team reminded her of this and she decided to go back to Unova to restart her life. She’s a celebrity though so she dyes her hair/dons a disguise while on her adventure, and from there she basically takes the place of the protagonist in BW1, getting involved in the Team Plasma plot. N connects to her because he sees that she “truly understands/can communicate with your Pokemon” (since they called her out of her depression). She obtains Zekrom, and after N’s farewell,

After obtaining Zekrom and N’s farewell, she leaves Unova to travel to another region to continue her journey, which makes her absent for the events of BW2. N’s trouble of trying to locate the player from BW1 is continued with Lee Marie since she was “disguised” in Unova and so tabloids were always like “Sinnoh Designer who went missing spotted in Unova?” and N is just like “WHO IS THIS PERSON”.

Her original Sinnoh team was: Chimchar, Croagunk, Dustox, and Roselia

When she starts over in Unova, she brings her Chimchar/Monferno, Dustox, and catches Audino and Mareep/Flaafy. By the end of her Unova journey, she has Infernape, Audino, Ampharos, Volcarona, Solrock & Lunatone, and then Zekrom she can call upon when needed.

After becoming a designer:

Return to Unova (Meant to resemble Hilda, since i always kinned Hilda when I was like 8 and the game came out LOL)

After Unova she goes to Kalos, where she meets my friend Primal’s sona, who is collecting the Zygrade cells. They become rivals and mainly all that’s been discussed is that Lee would KICK HER ASS because Primal’s sona is a steel type trainer while I have fire types.

Lee starts Kalos with Volcarona, Infernape, Audino and Ampharos, and ends it with Gallade, Vivillon, and Milotic. (Her Pokemon are all rather fashionable ones or beautiful to match her image). Lee and her rival travel together to the next few regions, in Alola she catches Muk and Tsareena, and then in Galar she catches Snom/Frosmoth, Centiskorch, and Gyarados. (Her teams starts to move towards bug types since she discovers that’s her favorite type).

Eventually we reach Paldea, where she enrolls in Uva Academy so she can participate in the Treasure Hunt, and that’s how we get back to game accurate story lore. She brings Vivillon, Centiskorch, Frosmoth, Ampharos, and Tsareena to Paldea, and catches Ceruledge, Azumaril, Girafaiai, and a Mabosstiff.

Yolanda:

As mentioned in previous posts, Yolanda is just an OC who is basically my evil sona who I can’t help but insert into stories because it’s funny to me. In the Pokemon universe, she’s Lee’s cousin from Paldea who is enrolled in Uva as well. She’s jealous of Lee’s fame and the fact that she threw it away, and not so subtly copies Lee in appearance and a few of her Pokemon, although she has trouble evolving them.

Like Lee, Yolanda focuses on Pokemon’s appearance, although much more CONSCIOUSLY she picks her teammates based on how they look aesthetically.

She caught a Steenee because she wanted a Tsareena like Lee, but has failed to get it to evolve, and the two are constantly arguing (because I think the image of cute little Steenee turned into a bitch yelling at her trainer is funny). She has more ghost/fairy types, so she also has a Gothorita/Gothielle, Tinkaton, Misdreavous, Kirlia, and Frillish/Jellicent.

Yolanda exists in this universe mainly because she is is pursuing a lot of the adult male characters LOL. One idea I’ve thought of is after Lee beats Larry, Yolanda appears at the Treasure Eatery the next day and startles him by her similar appearance, but explains who she is and they have a one night stand, but Yolanda keeps pursuing him and eventually catches feelings. (Don’t worry she gets happiness eventually despite being the worst)

Rayquaza: and WHAT is, human

Sean: well... we aren't entirely... sure...

Rayquaza: are you telling me you called me here just for a problem you have no clue about? Give me one reason I shouldn't devour you right now.

Sean: well the situation is very complex, and some kind of dimensional spacial manipulation is going on, and one of the people in danger is one of Arceus' chosen it seems.

Rayquaza: and why should I care about any of the lords previous chosen, and yes, i can sense her on a spacial plane, I am not the current Prime of my species, I am not one of the gods, so i do not care about their meddlings, or their stupid precious humans they seem so chummy with. You may have helped me that day, but it was still a human that was the cause of that mess, you've even taken in of that hunters pokemon, for what reason, I don't care. I do not care about paying off old debts. I do not care about what ever is creating the bizarre events in this hole in the ground. And I most definitely don't care about the safety of some stupid, pathetic, and weak Huma- WHAT, NO-
