@yxllowcoat asked for a sora!
Sora was out in the woods walking through as they were travelling to the nearest town, Orion talking off in their ear like he usually did when they were alone - it would still look like Sora was talking to thin air to anyone else. The both of them were in the middle of a heated argument when they both felt something off in the air.
So much that they actually stopped arguing, the two of them looked in the direction that this feeling was coming from. It actually felt familiar to them both in a way; similar to when they hopped between one place to another here. But this felt different like it wasn't just on this plane of existence.
So of course Sora is leading the charge carefully to approach and investigate what is going on now. Curiosity has gotten the better of them.

@yxllowcoat liked for a starter .
the runaway kid recognises one set of the approaching footsteps ; they're careless and hurried , with no need to consider pacing more carefully through this wretched place . nomes are a part of the maw , and therefore not in any real danger if they're caught scurrying around ... but somebody accompanies the little creature that steps far more softly , apprehensively , and the boy stills as he awaits their arrival .
" hello ... ? " he calls out softly , so as not to alert anything more hostile that might be lurking . the vent lifts up , and the nome skitters out - then turns to seven , gesturing at the opening meaningfully . " what'd you find - ? " he murmurs , pacing just a little closer , before speaking again . " hey ... is somebody there ? it's okay - you can come out . i won't hurt you . "

@yxllowcoat = plotted.
yui turns her flashlight's beam toward where she'd heard movement a moment prior. if it's a spirit, there's a chance they'd be stunned by light. if not that, she could at least see what would be charging her. however, she finds neither of those things. instead, the light catches yellow rubber.
...another kid?
"uh... hello." yui shuffles closer, standing on her tip toes to see what the other kid could possibly be scavenging for in the trash. "what are you doin'?"

@yxllowcoat (continued from x)
The giant owl landed on top of Six, pressing his talon on her neck and the other wrapping around her legs...
But suddenly his expression changed, and suddenly she was lifted up in the air, and the owl stared right in her eyes.
And then... he began to laugh at something.
"Hoohohohohoho!!"

❝ [ receiver finds sender covered in blood ] ❞ - @yxllowcoat
During the long time she spent on the Maw, the Lady had spent an extensive amount of time witnessing some of the most outlandish things one could possibly think of. She's seen worse in the outside world, admittedly, even if her memories of it are vague: what happens on the Maw is but a fragment of the depravity staining the mainland. It was like a mist, laying softly on humanity's eyes - but not her own. Never her own.
However, one of the things that seemed to stick consistently across all civilization both on and off the Maw is violence. Unbridled, unexplainable violence. It seems that a stable of the human nature was to gravitate towards it almost subconsciously. The Lady's hands are not clean themselves, that she has to recognise; one has to do what they must to survive.
The way she saw it was, by her own admission, rather simple: you can either run from violence, or engage in it. And one can only keep running for so long before getting caught.
She presumes this is what must have happened to... her.
The child standing at the end of the corridor is small and frail, much like many others. The madame can hear her breaths, no matter how soft they are. And her presence - her soul, flickers with a rather annoying insistence to it. It was hard to ignore once it was made known, really. The woman's eyes trail over her shining raincoat, stained by the bad odor of blood. Its shades mix with the yellow fabric in a rather fascinating way.
The Madame doesn't speak yet. She limits herself to studying the little intruder.
PROMPTS.

@yxllowcoat | horror/rpg starter call
looking back, maybe it was a bad idea to go out of their shelter abruptly without explanation. looking back, it would be obvious that six likely noticed. evidently, she had followed him—mono hears footfalls, knowing it’s her by the cautious and quiet way she walks.
he feels guilty; he shouldn’t have rushed off so abruptly, but… mono had lost his bag. he had lost what paper thin respite he had. he needed to hide his face. instinctively, mono uses his hands to do so. he still doesn’t turn to face six, barely peeking through his fingers to search for a head cover in this small junk pile.
“s-sorry if i made you worry,” he apologizes with a genuine tone despite his shyness, “didn’t mean to. jus’… don’t look at me. i need to get another paper bag…”

There’s another child nearby, Six knew; she could hear the giggling of a small girl somewhere…
Slowly advancing towards the graveyard, she looked nervously around, lighter in hand-
…and then she noticed Molly.
A sharp gasp left the nine-year-old, and she froze in shock.
Wait, why was a kid this young out here…?
@yxllowcoat
Why? Well, that was an easy answer! For catching frogs, of course! The tot couldn't resist em! Seemed she was quite adept at it, too! Frogs loved dark wet places, and the tombstones of those now passed was the perfect place to look. It was she was used to , after all! Molly cranes her head around upon hearing the other. Strange.. she was usually all alone out here. The tot stops in her tracks, taking cover behind a rather large headstone, the only visible thing being her delicate little pigtails peeking over the edge.

Starter Call || @yxllowcoat
Brewing within the wet underbelly of the maw, something stirs and never stops its eternal song. For mucus-bred maggots linger in the wet soil they have made. To inky darkness that pupates the nest of worms that find themselves in the Maw.
For whatever reason, human life somehow finds a way. In the deep dark, for one little girl, busy in her nothing-life. Doodling on the cold metal floor.
It's her home now, after all, how can she ever leave? Its inevitable to dream of escape—or the prospect of it. Lingering here is better than being served à la carte.

@yxllowcoat liked for a starter .
mono gazes up at the structure looming over them . judging by the haphazard hole cut into the steel of the chainlink fence , the boy finds himself idly wondering if this is really the kind of place they should be breaking into . evidently , desire to escape has existed - and been acted upon .
but there's no choice . no way to duck around it , what with the surrounding streets in utter disarray with rubble piled high from collapsed buildings .
it's not as if there's anything to turn back to , either . there's nothing for them in this dreadful world ... except the gentle , tugging lull of a signal's call that beckons him , somewhere far ahead . he must press forward . find out what's calling him .
the school looks formidable . grey , bleak , unforgiving . his eyes wander around the playground , then timidly back to six .
" ... i wonder if there are other kids here . "

“…that never should have happened.”
@yxllowcoat to Mono about The Drop :,)
"it was my fault" prompts = accepting.
"it shouldn't have." mono quietly responds, nails digging into his palms. he stares her down with hidden reflective gray eyes. she... can admit that, at least. why does it hurt so much? it's been forever. or maybe it hasn't. he's all but lost his sense of time since getting out of that tower.
"so... why did you do it?"

The child reaches slowly out with a hand to touch Roxy’s paw, curious and wondering if the wolf animatronic would react at all.
Perhaps Six was being foolish, so brave…
But she wanted to test this thing’s sentience.
@yxllowcoat
(Hey, this is @bluestar-of-thunderclan, from one of my sideblogs! :D)
UNPROMPTED ASKS - Always Accepting!
"Don't touch my paw," it growled, eyes glancing down. "I'm not a toy."
The animatronic did, in fact, react to the cat's paw touching hers. She was aware of the critters that made their home in the Pizzaplex from time to time. It wasn't uncommon to find a few pets residing in the kitchen or in the underground pipes. But in her room? Where she was practicing and admiring herself in the mirror?
"Where did you come from? I thought the ventilation system was shut for this reason!" She growled.

@yxllowcoat || starter call.
a shadow lengthens and twists rapidly into a black and white mirror-image of the girl, quietly manifesting behind her. a clawed hand suddenly grabs six’s shoulder, the other grasping her arm; nix’s touch is cold, but her grasp is also shaking.
“don’t go this way,” the shadow breathes, barely audible, “i know it looks clear, but you need to find another route.”

Vayu nodded, and paused. He thought about kneeling down, meeting the child at eye level. Instead, he took a seat next to her.
He would have happily let the silence sit between them, and he certainly wouldn't speak first. Sure, he had questions -- what was this kid doing out here? Where was her home, her family? He might ask those questions. Later, though.
Generally, he preferred to keep his hands busy. The silence was gently, gently interrupted by the blade of his knife digging into the skin of an apple in his palm. He stopped, glanced Six's way, and then focused back on the apple.
With a rough slice across, he took half (well, a bit more than half, since it included the core) of the apple, and reached over to hand it to Six.
