QUICK LITTLE UPDATE BEFORE I FORGET!! BUT!! I LEAVE FOR COLLEGE IN ONE WEEK!!

this is important because i will be doing a couple of things before the new year. one big thing is a NEW INBOX! i will wipe every ask i have left over once im done with replying to asks. which means, i will reply to as MANY asks as i can while i work & pack my things.

second thing is NEW SCHEDULE!! classes are set and im gonna try to land a part-time job but i will be somewhat busy with classes as i will make that my main focus. BUT! my queue will start back up when i officially start college on the 8th of January!

it's gonna be a new start and its hopefully gonna be MUCH better than last year. i promise nobody is gonna be left behind in my replies or asks nor will i dip anytime soon, but im slowly figuring shit out and will be doing replies as often as i did for this year.

anyways i love yall and hopefully we'll kickstart 2025 to a much smoother and exciting start. :)

This week had been awful. Back to back missions where his own ass had been trampled, both in sleep and energy. Why did this week after the Christmas season kick him in the ground the most?

Though, to his surprise, he was met with a wonderful Christmas treat - a getaway trip into the woods with a rented winter cabin, personally owned. A week trip of peace and quiet, away from the kids and the Doc. For one full weekend. Was he dreaming?

" ... don't tell me this is your way of spoiling me," he said, smirking. "I hope this isn't your way of turning me on. You're making this too easy. A week with peace from the kids ... it's almost like you're reading my mind of what I wanted.

It came from her homemade cup of hot chocolate. Whipped cream had been poured in a perfect circle, and her lips had been coated in the stuff that took up more than half of her mug. For a moment, she paused, surprised that he had taken the chance to wipe it clean off of his lips.

" ... you need to ask!" She chuckled with pink flushing her face, gently bumping his arm with her hand. "I like my hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream, and you need to ask for my can. The least you could do is kiss it off!"

"This place is so crowded ... " was all the owlette could muster from her throat, tucking herself into her own outfit. For the first time, her father allowed her to attend this winter party (under occasional watch via grimoire), and it was something exuberating to attend. Parties in the living world was an odd concept to her, but after her attempt to find the stars previously ... it had caught her tongue.

The dress that she had picked out for this popular winter party was still in all black, but illuminated in a darker, mute shade of purple. A scarf was draped around her neck, occasionally shrinking into it to hide her face. The warmth and the crowded feeling gave her an awful sense of claustrophobia, looking to hide on the sidelines while people passed by. And, like clockwork, she found one like her hiding on the side with her.

" ... sorry, am I in your space?" She muttered, blinking upon realization that someone was next to her to where she ran. "This place is ... too hot. I probably should take this scarf off ... "

Charity's first job was a newspaper girl! she learned how to ride a bike as a teenager and made it her first job at the orphanage she stayed at to make money for herself. it wasn't much, but she loved going outside.

it also made her love the want to ride a bike outside, and did it nearly daily.

Sayori would be one who would consider themselves "more outgoing", but in reality, she's very introverted. she's extremely cheerful and always wanting to make people happy, but she does not do social gatherings as much. they stress her out, mainly, and she enjoys staying at home instead.

John is in a similar situation, but he always believed to be introverted with how often he's home and away from people, he's also somewhat extroverted. talking to people comes easy to him, and he enjoys social gatherings. he wouldn't call himself extroverted, but he simply likes the company of people.

Charity is also in the same situation, but she always believed for the longest time that she was an introverted person. she never liked the kids in her orphanage, and always felt that for years. but surprisingly, she loves socializing. it's the way she recharges after a lot of things, and is an easy polar opposite to her father.

Krieg is (surprisingly) one of the many that likes the taste of cilantro and doesn't think it tastes like soap. he's not like most psychos and actually has pretty solid refined taste when it comes to food and drink. he doesn't mind it all the time, and it's something he considers "okay" for taste.

Maya actually hasn't tried cilantro before and would be in the 20% that thinks it tastes like soap. she had a very controlled taste in foods because of the Order and was never introduced to it. she probably never will, unfortunately.

Yasmin HAS tried cilantro, but she HATES the taste. she is apart of the 20% that tastes soap instead. she also likes fancy dishes, but never wants cilantro. ever. hates the taste.

she loves both! because of her enhanced tastebuds, she loves more of the smell than the taste, and spice really enhances the dopamine she feels. with sweet foods, it's just as much, but more comforting. she wouldn't exactly mix both together, but she loves them separately for different occasions.

when it comes to spicy & sweet foods, she likes both. she has a more refined taste due to what her father used to order for meals, but also likes simple snacks. but between the two? she'd like a mix of two for the tangy feeling.

she doesn't like leaning towards either or (JUST spicy or sweet is too much), and she'll literally mix them together.

for Power? yeah. she never properly sleeps like a human being and sleeps at random periods of the day. her naps can last to the minimal of 20-30 minutes OR a couple of hours. she can be awake in the earliest morning or super late at night. she is terrible with sleep, and doesn't think she needs to sleep "normally".

this also applies to responding in texts or just talking in general. sleep affects her form, and she's insanely stubborn about it and refuses to accept that sleep has consequences on how she'll act the next day.

Taroumaru eagerly grins with a happy bark, pawing the other in return. A new friend! He must get to know them! Quickly, he pans over to his toy - a bouncy ball. He picked it up in his mouth and brought it to the other dog, placing it on the ground for them to play with.
