It was almost closing time in the pizzaplex, the closing message just finished playing. Ballora was active as ever, if the soft chimes from the bells that decorate her skirt and shoes were a clear indication. Instead of going to her green room, she purposefully made a detour to the parts and services. He should still be here, right? She hoped she didn’t miss him leaving.

“Jon,” the animatronic called out quietly, her accent thick and noticeable. “You’re still here.” She stood in the doorway, eyes open and casted a soft purple glow.

Unlike that of his sister, Derren's own fashion sense leans more into the style of wear offered by his own field gear. It runs closest to Light Academia— though he may not be the most studious type, he's all for the comfortable and refined aesthetic that it presents, especially when he's off work in the Prongs Building.

He finds himself most at ease in clothing that's loose and easy on the eyes in color. In fact, he's well-enough used to wearing coats and articles with long sleeves, especially turtlenecks, whenever the seasons get cooler.

Johanna's eyes were fluttered shut, melting at the warm feeling of Jonathans strong hands cupping her face. His hands, so broad and calloused from their heavy use in his work, were always so sweet, so tender. Hands that broke or made things so many things, always with a purpose. It was hard to describe the sense of safety and care his hands offered with words. But she hoped he always knew how she felt.

All of them do, in one way or another; since I'm too lazy to make a flow chart, here's the next best thing:

ANIMATRONIC SQUAD 1 (Toy Freddy, Foxy, Glamrock Freddy, Chica)

Star animatronics like those mentioned above will be sweet and caring towards the kids, but iffy around adults. In the case of Toy Freddy, a mix of facial recognition errors and haunting makes him wary of any adult. Foxy and Chica express anger and murderous intent towards adults for similar reasons. Glamrock Freddy is a bit of an outlier here, but only because he expresses either neutrality or fear towards the adults around him; the latter is only directed at staff because of a number of threats made to decommission him.

ANIMATRONIC SQUAD 2 (Withered Freddy, Nightmare Freddy, Prototype Freddy)

Most Freddy's animatronics are programmed, in some way or another, to care about and protect the kids. These animatronics are no exception, BUT they will often frighten the kids they try to entertain. They have varying levels of aggression towards adults; Withered Freddy CAN be a menace towards staff, but almost exclusively during the night. If given the option, Nightmare Freddy would choose to torment an adult (especially those related to the crying child). If provided the knowledge that Fazbear Entertainment scrapped him, Prototype Freddy would have reason to terrorize the adults around him.

ANIMATRONIC SQUAD 3 (Circus Baby, Funtime Freddy)

The Funtimes are an interesting case. Circus Baby will gladly entertain children and express joy when she's on the stage, but still has little regret when she captures them. The one adult that should inspire mistrust in her is the only one she DOES trust. Nobody else, child or adult (Elizabeth and William aside), are worthy of trust from her.

Funtime Freddy has a similar "no regrets" mentality and is fascinated with death. He's giddy to share this information and existential dread with the children he captures. That said, Freddy is very much against William Afton and the staff at Afton Robotics. Trap a bear for years and he's bound to hold a grudge.

ANIMATRONIC OUTLIERS (Balloon Boy, Music Man, RWQFSFASXC, Shadow Freddy, Grimm Foxy, Fredbear, Mr. Hippo, Tag-Along Freddy)

Being a kid himself, Balloon Boy should theoretically be best friends with the children around him; given that most children get a laugh out of tormenting him, though, BB prefers animatronic company over any human.

Music Man is just there to vibe. He thinks it's funny to annoy both children AND adults. There is no escape from his cymbals.

RWQFSFASXC and Shadow Freddy are total opposites. Shadow Freddy goes out of his way to repeat history and torment the animatronics (as well as the children within them), but RWQFSFASXC is there to help comfort and free the children's spirits. Both are either neutral towards adults or view them as obstacles. If you aren't with them, you're against them.

Grimm Foxy doesn't discriminate; children and adults can both play VR titles. Grimm Foxy will torment both equally. The only exception is his animatronic verse, in which his spooky aesthetics are just decoration. His ill-will is also focused directly on the adults, but some of the kids he interacts with might be traumatized by the stories he tells.

Fredbear and Mr. Hippo are both neutral towards adults, at least until they either get possessed or are puppeteered by Cassidy in UCN.

Tag-Along Freddy is a toy meant to bond with and keep an eye on children. As a toy who needs to communicate with adults, he obviously doesn't have any malice for them.

(i'm just focusing on The Bots here, since they are the muses that this question applies to most. also being a multimuse with an ever-expanding list of muses is hard, thanks brain dfskjfkjs)

The red head rests his hand on the side of his face, fingers slightly nudging his glasses up, and his elbow on his desk. Henry was rather fine with the employees speaking freely and he felt like he made that policy well known.

He hoped the bear would know that reference. Jonathan didn't feel like feeling too old today. (Fun fact, that commercial first aired in the 80s, which is perfect for this franchise lol)

"I do not wanna think about iiiiit." He's being silly with that huff as he continues immediately with quoting the commercial owl. "One-- Two-- Three!" AND HE CHOMPS.

💙Shimmering into view along the shadows that edged the entrance of the room, the willowy minx stepped out with a shift of the bag she held from one hand to another as she gave the space a curious glance around. Her sleek willowy frame surprisingly covered with her beloved black faux fur coat engulfing her down to her thighs, and her black suede platform boots covering her the rest of the way down to her toes; having prepared for the chilly evening just in case it decided to drop even more that night. Madilin also thought that it might help ease any worries the sweet engineer might have about his team mates potentially seeing her around, by wearing nothing in blue except for the beret in her hair and the blue sapphire heart she wore around her neck.

Inside was a doll of the Marionette. It wasn't plump and soft like the main cast, but then, neither was the real deal. It was old, clearly, but almost in mint condition.

"I don't know if these things ever got past the design phase, but I felt you would appreciate it for what it is," he said. "Happy birthday, Charlie."

" oh -- oh my gosh. thank you... " she takes the doll gently and looks it over, front to back. she's amazed to be holding this right now, having never seen a doll of the marionette before... ever actually.

Emelie was reading. Or trying to. Key word: try. She squinted, brought the book up close, even tilted the book as if that would magically fix the words on the page. It didn’t. In fact it made it worse.

she sighed heavily and nearly threw the book in frustration when she spotted her best friend. He didn’t seem busy..so she went over to him.

The Heavy Marksman soon crossed her synthetic arms in playful defense, tipping her head up with a cocky grin, letting the sunlight's glare dance on her lenses. A short sigh marked her concession— Jonathan's direction may have been clear and true, just as a seasoned Engineer was to their blueprints... but Karen was trained well enough with rifles.

"Beyond that, none of the squarest shots I've dealt to most any bot have been as on the mark as your words, hon. How about this, then: if there's any place we haven't been, where you've wanted to go and take me... or anything you've wanted to do with me, but never had the chance to...

I'd say now's your time to show me just what that meticulous mind could come up with. Just for me..."

Karen tilted her head to him, her brows arching to enunciate the offer, her smile widening yet still. Returning fire was no problem for her at all... especially not here, nor with Johnny.

"So. What'll it be~?"

Staying the Night: Johnny had too much to drink, so he's staying over.

"Ooookay lad, yer gonna have ta stay here. Ye shoulda knoo betta than ta keep up wit' me" Sorcha helped Johnny steady himself. Of course, she goaded him into a competitive drinking pace so it was on her, not that it bothered her. She liked the company.
