Creatures In The Dark ||| Closed RP

Otabek Altin was accompanied by his best friend and job partner, Jean-Jacques Leroy, on a particularly fishy smelling job. They’d received a call from someone requesting to meet up in an abandoned warehouse just outside of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. Otabek had a bad feeling about this meeting as soon as the abandoned warehouse was mentioned. Something just didn’t feel right. But good luck telling his partner that.

“C’mon Beks! What’s the worst that could happen?” Jean-Jacques spouted off before he cut out the engine.

Otabek just rolled his eyes. No clue at all what could happen, we only hunt fucking monsters! But, of course he didn’t say that aloud. They had seen probably every bit of anything from mere common nightmares and horror films. Only... nightmares and horror films made things look like Wonderland compared to the real deal.

They got out of Jean’s jet black 1987 Chevy Citation and moved to the trunk to grab a few weapons... just in case it really was a trap. Never could be too careful.

All of the usual building entrances were boarded off and Otabek was already wanting to abort mission. Jean, however, beamed a rock through one of the windows making Otabek jump nearly out of his skin at the suddenness of the action.

“JJ you jackass!” Otabek gasped out, panting and holding his chest.

Then his neck hairs stood on end as he whipped his head around. Something just moved. There aren’t any other vehicles so I don’t think that could have been the person we’re supposed to meet here...

Otabek was snapped from his thoughts, quite literally because JJ was snapping his fingers in front of his face. “You scared, cupcake?” Otabek frowned and watched his partner leap inside the window. Dammit, JJ.

Rant over the Ban

First off I would like to apologize about what I am going to say, because I must get it off of my chest. You have been warned to turn back, because lets face it this is not going to be pretty.

In light of the recent news about how the IOC having Russia banned from the 2018 Winter Olympics in Peyongchang. It just ticks me off to no end about how they are going to punish people that had nothing to do with the 'organized doping'. It is not right to say that 'Oh yeah you will be able to compete but it will not be under your own flag, but that of the Olympic flag.' And if you do win a medal the history books will not count it as a notch in the belt for your country.

Lets see the hard work that these amazing athletes have put in over the years to make their country proud will have been partially wasted. To have to feel the dishonor of not having their flag flying at the opening ceremony or their national anthem played when they meddle. How will History truly remember how things happen, if things are not clear?

By stripping Russian athletes of the right to have their flag it is like the IOC is acting no better then Hitler. Because they are wanting to take away their identity, and we are forgetting why the Olympics were created in the first place. It just makes me sad. Well at least Putin is acting a lot smarter then Trump because he has yet to say that Russia is going to boycott the Olympics. Because if he did that then it would be striping away the final sense of pride from these proud athletes.

I know that despite everything that these proud Russian athletes will not forget that they are competing for themselves and their country. Well I for one will not stand by, in support I would like to ask others to wear a Russian flag button as I will be doing. I hope to be able to make it to the Olympics myself so that I can show my support, and in addition I would like to ask people to blow up social media with the Russian flag during the Olympics. Because that way we shall make sure that it is seen and say to Hell with the IOC's ruling.

Because it will not be right to not have anyone not properly represent their own country.
