Dipper Pinnes

At the start of the relasionship Dipper can be pretty awkward and nervous, even when he knows you like him just the way he is he can't help but be kinda flustered by the thought of actually being in a relationship

Sharing with you the information of the diary that he had found is really important for him, is just that he is too excited by everything that says on that diary that he doesn't really thought it could be dangerous or anything

The fact that you actually believe him about what the diary says it was enough for him to get incredibly excited and start talking non-stop about everything there is in the diary, all that he had saw and that had uncovered, he is just too excited that someone is finally taking him serious (if he already knows Standford then he will talk about everything he had teach him too), he will probably apologize and stop at some point, embarrassed for doing it

Even when he had seen a lot of strange things already he is really surprised that you had seen them too, specially since he needs the diary to get to know about all of this. Dipper will be initialy unsure and nervous about it but he slowly gets used to the idea and start to ask you a lot of things about it, he wants to know everything! since when you know the supernaturals, how did you find out, how had been your experiences with them, what you had learn from them and specially if you know things that aren't on the diary (although, that will be incredibly surprising)

If you say that you had bad past experiences with supernaturals, saying that they had put you in danger or were a threaten he is imediatly worried, he tries to ask you for more details without being pushy or potentialy trigger bad memories for you, he wants to know the details because he wants to be able to protect you if any creature tries to attack you again. In the other hand, if you say that you had pretty good experiences with them and even that you are friends with them he is really surprised, this wasn't what he expected but is way better than being in danger, that will make him really curious again, wanting to know how that could be posible

In Dipper grows a little bit of a feeling of wanting to protect you, his experiences with this kind of creatures haven't being the best, there are good times but still he can't help but worry sometimes, he tries to study the diary and be ready for whatever it can came but if you teach him how to do amulets of protection or teach him how to avoid conflict he will accept it right away, it help him feel more at easy to know that you know how to defend yourself and that he can help you too

If you gift him amulets of protection or give him advice for him to stay safe he will be pretty flustered by it, not matter if you do it just once or do it frecuently it flustered him the thought of you being worried about him and actually taking time of your day to make something to protect him (he will say a million of thanks and probably try to find something to give it to you that is as meaningful as what you gave him)

Mabel Pinnes

Mabel is really excited to be in a relationship, is easy for her to be atracted to someone and at first it was simple atraction but as the time pass and you two get to know better the feeling grows to be stronger and more stubborn, that is how you two end up in a relationship

She likes to share everything she does with you because is what she is, she likes to drag you in her little adventures and play with you a lot, is probably that you end up covered in colors and brilliantine from time to time

Just as she loves being herself with you and drag you in what she is doing she wants for you to feel free to be your true self with her too (but sometimes she ends up hogging the time), she always asks you for your opinion and what you like and dislike, even when it doesn't seem like it she keep you in mind a lot for a lot of things

Finding out that you can see ghosts and others supernaturals creatures is pretty surprising and a little strange for her (even if you don't try to hide it normally), is something she expected from his brother but not from her partner, is strange but it won't take her much time to believe it and accept it! She actually take it pretty normal and will praise your hability if you feel insecure or uncomfortable for it

Mabel isn't too interested in knowing about the supernaturals but is totally willing to heard your stories if you want to share them with her but be ready for her doing a lot of comments and jokes about it, she may even ask the silliest things about it

If you had bad past experiences with the supernaturals or had even been in danger before she will immediatly get worried and sad, saying sorry and offering you comfort, and later she will ask his brother if there is anything she can do to help you. If you actually get along with them or even be their friend she will laugh at it, totally something she didn't expected but is amazing nonetheless

Mabel will totally introduce you to his brother and tell you about the diary and how he is amased by supernaturals too, what could lead you to spend a lot of time together, she is happy for it but it doesn't take her much time before being bothered by it and even jealous, she will try to separate the two of you to be able to spend time with both without the supernaturals things

If you ever gift her things that can help and protect her from supernatural she thanks you a lot, she find it like a pretty cute gift, even when is more probably that she doesn't fully understand for what it is, althought she probably wil ask if she can decorate it or have one full of colors and brightness (probably even do one for you in that way, imitating the one you give her, it probably won't protect you since she doesn't fully know how it works but she does it from her heart)

Wendy Corduroy

Getting into a relationship with Wendy isn't too difficult, she normally doesn't care too much as long as she feel atracted to you, although the more time you two spend together the closer you grow and you start to be more important to her

She likes to talk to you about what she is in, she is always telling you the funny stories that she has with her friends, family and sometimes even in her work (whenever you weren't involved on the mess with them), also she likes when you tell her things of you too but isn't going to force you to talk and just wait until you want to share something with her

Its not a secret that Gravity Falls can be a really strange village although she doesn't pay much attention to those things, so the moment you tell her that you can see ghosts and others supernaturals she won't believe you at first, she probably will only laugh and agree sarcastically thinking that you may be trying to prank her or even scare her, but as you insist or even seem serious about it she will ask you if you are actually being serious with it

Despite her first reaction it doesn't take her much time before she finally believes you, she is pretty interested in you stories about your past experiences with them, although she is pretty lay back with it too, she is really interested but if you don't feel comfortable talking about that she won't be mad or anything, she can wait until you are ready (but she will playfuly tell you that isn't fair to let her with the excitement and curiosity)

If you have bad past experiences with the supernaturals Wendy will be a little worried about you but is more focused on comforting you and promising that you don't have nothing to worry about because you have her and she will protect you from any supernatural! In the other hand, if you have good past experiences with them she will laugh at it because she find it hilarious, she will be even more curious about hearing your stories and may even ask if you could introduce her your friends

She isn't going to talk much about it, is more likely that you two talk about it if you are the one bringing up the topic but whenever you do talk about it she is paying a lot of attention, truly interested on what are you telling her (sometimes she gets distracted but tries to always put attention)

If you ever make her amulets she will find it a rather cute gesture, she will call you adorable in the moment you give it to her and will actually conserve it, she may don't carry it with her all the time but she keep it as something special for her

Naoko Kirino

It doesn't take her much time before falling in love, and once it happens Naoko is pretty open with her feeling, she is pretty playful and affectionate with you before start dating but once you start a relasionship she becomes even more affectionate and clingy

Naoko can be pretty playful and tease you from time to time, is the way she is, however she isn't someone who judge others, she has her own bizarre liking and is seen like a weirdo for others, so she prefers to don't judge and she just accept you the way you are, besides she loves you the way you are

She has her own weird liking and she is pretty energetic, Naoko likes to drag you around whenever she is excited to do something, as well she will like to know a lot of you and probably ask you constantly about you and your opinion, so is probably that she gets to know about your hability earlier in the relasionship

When you tell her that you can see and even interact with ghosts and other supernaturals she is imediatly excited, she ask you twice only to confirm that she had heard you right, Naoko will believe you and accept you with this talent right away, she doesn't even try to hide how excited she is for all of this so there will not be the slightest doubt about she seeing you as weirdo or something

Naoko wants to know everything about it and she will ask you right away, if you don't feel comfortable or even overwhelmed by it she apologize with a smile in her face, she didn't mean to, however she will insist on hearing your stories about the supernaturals you had met, if you are hesitant to talk about it she will make efforts to make you feel comfortable enough to tell her and when you finally do it she will pay a lot of attention to what you tell her

Naoko is specially interested on the bizarre details, how they died, how was their life, how they look and if they have any power she wants to know what kind of power they have (and if she can see it it will be amazing)

If you had bad past experiences with them she will be sorry for you and a little worried, she loves all of this but if it is going to put you in danger it would be better if you two avoid it, she loves you more than those stories. In the case that you had good experiences or even get along with them she will ask even more about your experiences, she find it incredibly interesting!

Naoko wants to experience it too so she will ask you if she can see and interact with them too, if she can she ask you to please let her meet the ones you already know or that are your friends, even if she can't directly see them she will like to see you interact with them and will ask you what they are saying

If you ever gift her a protection amulet she will find the gesture rather cute and loving, she promise you to always carry the amulet with her and always tell you that it did protect her even when she has not encountered any danger or didn't even worked

Yuri

To get to be in a relationship with Yuri she had to be comfortable around you first, she suffer from a really bad social anxiety so she needs to feel calm and safe around you, once that happens is pretty obvious and even in a relationship Yuri will slowly win some confidence and will be able to express herself more

Yuri has a like for horror and bizarre things, she likes it and loves reading books of that kind however she doesn't like sharing that with all people, but since she trust you and loves you she will like to share that like with you since is important for her, she will satisfied if you just accept her but actually being interested on it or understand her liking will make her incredibly happy

Yuri isn't someone who will judge you or doubt you, specially if you accept her without asking, she feels like is only fair so in the moment you tell her that you can see ghosts and others supernaturals and even interact with them she will accept you and won't judge, it take her a moment to fully process it and a while to get used to the idea but she assure you that she trust you and doesn't think you are weird or anything

The thought of you talking with ghosts will wander around Yuri's mind for a while before she win the courage to ask you about it, she is a little unsure if it will be alright for her to talk about it (specially is you don't talk much about it yourself) and when she finally does ask you she is really curious about it, she want to heard all you are willing to share with her

Yuri wants to heard all the stories about your past experiences with supernaturals but is a little nervous, not wanting to trigger something on you or bringing you bad memories by accident so she tries to be as subtle as posible with the topic as long as she can, until she is sure is okay for you to talk about it

If you had bad past experiences with them she will feel really bad about it, she gets nervous at the thought of you possibly being in danger and she will try to bring you some comfort, probably will try to avoid talking about it from then. However, if you have good experiences, may even having a good relationship with the supernaturals then Yuri will grow even more curious and want to heard all your stories, but will be shy while asking you about it

Yuri wants to know all you are willing to share with her, however her curiosity is really big so as she grows more comfortable and is sure it is okay she will start asking for more details, either about the supernatural or for what you felt, she may try to hide her excitment over the topic but if you know her well you can notice her inmense curiousity

If you ever gift her something like a protection amulet she will see it as a really loving gesture from you, is a really special gift for her and she tries to take proper care of it and carry it everywhere since is for protection, she really hopes she never gets into the situation where she have to use it because she doesn't want to be in danger and because she will like to keep it

Shouko Komi

It would take while for you two to get into a relationship for how anxious Shouko is, and, also it take her a while to realice her feelings, however when you two start dating Shouko is incredibly excited, wanting to do a lot of things with you but still feel a little bit nervous

In Itan Private High School almost all the students have peculiar personalities, everyone has their own talent or unique quirks that make the school always interesting, so having a student that can see ghosts and other kind of supernaturals isn't strange to think (however it could be that people won't believe you at first and brush it off if you try to tell them)

Shouko slowly get more comfortable with you and get even excited about the idea of letting you know more about her and she getting to know more about you so from time to time she motivate you to share your thoughts and opinions with her just as she tries to do it too!

Getting to know that you can see and even talk to ghosts and other supernaturals is something completely shocking for her, it take Shoko a moment to fully process and comprehend what you had tell her and when she does she will get incredibly worried in a second, she has a lot of things she wants to ask you about it but she is too nervous

She doesn't say that she wants to know more but is pretty obvious by her body language, but all her nervousness is obvious too, she is scare about it because she immediatly think that you may be in danger or that the supernaturals threaten you somehow

If you actually had bad past experiences with them she will just become even more worried about you and probably will like to stay by your side, clinging onto you for a while in hopes that she help you to avoid it or at least comfort you. In the other hand, if you had good past experiences with them she will feel more relief about it but still it will take her a long time to don't feel anxious about supernaturals and your safety

Shouko isn't exactly excited to heard your stories with supernaturals but doesn't has the strength to tell you to don't tell her, although she doesn't mind hearing silly and even funny stories, the ones that aren't scary or about you being in danger

If you ever make her and amulet for protecting she will be between being flustered and scare, she find it a really sweet gesture but she is scare about why does she need an amulet for protection? Although, if it is an amulet more for good luck or to keep away supernaturals (because you know how anxious she gets about them) she will feel touched by the gesture and may try to make something for you too (even when she has no idea of what she could do for you)

I am procrastinating on my uni assignments so here’s the 2012!TMNT main cast ranked on who would be homophobic/transphobic

1 being the most and 6 being the least

this is my opinion and my interpretation. i will fight people for one of these rankings if they disagree with me

6 - April

You cannot convince me she isn’t a 2012 Tumblr girl like… look at her. She spent most of her teenage years debating with homophobes on the internet. She would 100% watch supernatural and 100% ship Castiel.

"Would she fetishise mlm relationships?" NO. She would also watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and ship Fuffy. She reads yaoi AND yuri in her spare time.

If she swoons over a mutant and an alien getting together, she will 100% do the same for a gay couple.

Probably taught the others not to be homophobic (mostly the top 3).

If you believe she hates the LGBT+ community, I am sorry but you are objectively wrong I will be hunting you for sport right now. I am outside your house with the episode "Karai's Vendetta" playing loudly on my laptop.

5 - Donnie

“Erm actually, homosexual behaviour has been heavily documented in animals such as penguins, bats and hyenas. It’s very much natural.“

While I cannot imagine him ever being homophobic, I can imagine him being transphobic when he was younger.

BUT I only think that because the primary school biology textbook was his bible when he was five.

As soon as he had access to a more “advanced” biology book, he learnt his mistakes.

Had a deep understanding of gender before his brother understood the differences between them as a result of this.

4 - Mikey

Thinks LGBT+ people are awesome, however his only exposure to gay people is rupaul drag race so his views on them are stereotypical.

He would probably be taken aback if you introduced him to a gay man who isn’t flamboyant, but he would adjust after a bit.

He would definitely say “You don’t look gay” though.

Aside from April, he would be the most angry when hearing homophobic/transphobic comments.

3 - Leo

The middle point between homophobic and not homophobic for the group (even though she's seconds lmao, the group is just not really homophobic).

I headcanon her as a trans lesbian so any homophobic/transphobic thoughts she would have are a mixture of her sheltered life and internalised issues.

Nothing extreme though, but her mind would get hung up on two girls holding hands on the street for multiple days.

She would also go through the 5 stages of grief for every unprompted homophobic thought she gets.

Everyone helps her overcome this, especially after she discovers herself and comes out.

2 - Raph

I am sorry, but he would probably use homophobic language before meeting April.

However, that’s due to him not understanding what he was saying. He probably thought gay was a synonym for stupid.

Once he understands who LGBT+ people are and what they face (AKA being scolded by April), he would probably feel really bad about it.

He wouldn’t really apologise for it verbally, but he would 100% kill a homophobe after that so everyone understands he’s changed.

Mikey would then make fun of him for being homophobic which would get him really mad. It's revenge for Raph calling him gay to insult him and brushing his genuine anger off.

1 - Casey

I am not sorry, this dude was definitely homophobic before meeting the Turtles + April. Like, actually homophobic.

His dad is homophobic so it comes from that.

He called Donnie the f-slur behind his back to the rest of the group. To put it lightly, they were not impressed.

The first moment where he questions his behaviour is when April rips him to shreds over it, but it’s not until Raph pulls him aside to express disappointment that he realises how bad his behaviour is.

Probably goes MIA for a couple of days undergoing serious reflection on his life and beliefs. He then comes back to apologise for his behaviour.

He takes some time to truly overcome his bigotry, but he gets there eventually. Like Raph, he'll kill a homophobe after the ordeal.

A NOTP I have with said character: i don't think i have one for Sonia in particular actually!

A random headcanon: she comes out of the NWP post-DR2 with some severe memory issues/holes in her own Personal Timeline. (i headcanon generally it caused some brain damage in a few of the ex-Remnants.) while she heals the best she can, she is forever under the Impression that though she did evil shit, her Country is still mostly standing, just she's been exiled from it. everyone plays into that delusion as much as possible; however, almost supernaturally, she immediately forgets any Big Revelations about her past the next day after a long sleep. a blessing or curse from Chiaki? who knows. but everyone takes turns tucking in the princess after she accidentally picks up a Newspaper

General Opinion over said character: 10/10. she is not Some Woman With Flexible Legs

What your thought and HC on Sakumei?

SakuMei my beloveds!!

I need to see these two interact in the main manga so badly. They were shown together during Nene’s dream in ASHK, where they appeared as friends. AidaIro love to pull those “what if?” scenarios to show us that two characters would have great chemistry. Their personalities are very similar, they’re both more reserved and act annoyed with others (particularly the Yugi twins). They met off screen when Tsukasa introduced Mei to the Broadcasting Crew + Mitsuba, but we never got to see them interact. It’s super fun as a rarepair tho bcuz there’s so much to imagine with their dynamic. They compliment each other well and there’s lots of room to explore what a relationship between them would be like

As a toxic yuri enjoyer I like to hc them as exes, though I often see them depicted as girlfriends who take care of each other. I like that version of SakuMei as well, unlike some other ships I’m not too picky on how they’re written. Speaking of which, SakuMei fanfics are amazing. With every TBHK ship except Aoi//Nene the fic options are very limited so I’m always pleasantly surprised to see ones that surpass my expectations (no slander to fics for other wlw ships tho I eat up every sapphic TBHK fic I can find). Beecalm has written some SakuMei so I would 100% recommend any of their fics. Their SakuMei fan arts are also super cute

Back to my own interpretation of the ship, I like to think of them as toxic exes who stayed friends. Neither of them had much emotional intelligence when they dated so they both carry a lot of baggage from it (mainly Mei). It took awhile for them to forgive each other but now they’re best friends and they’ve grown a lot and hey, who knows?? Maybe some feelings still remain and they can get back together once they’ve matured and grown as people

For the toxic element I think of it as v much Casual by Chappell Roan vibes. I like to hc that they met prior to the start of the series, before Sakura met Natsuhiko (ik that stretches canon a tiny bit but shhhhh let me have my headcanons). With Mei as a recent supernatural having no sense of identity and Sakura as an older supernatural with no goal to cling to, they were both a bit lost. They both initially agreed that they weren’t ready for a serious relationship so they agreed to keep things casual. Only it wasn’t long before they were hanging out every single day, almost 24/7. Mei especially wanted to be loved so it wasn’t long before their casual dating became unfulfilling for her. She didn’t want to be Sakura’s friend, she wanted someone who would love her and look after her. Someone she could devote all her love to instead of repressing it. Emotions have never been Sakura’s strong suit, so they ignored Mei’s obvious unhappiness. When Mei could no longer hold it in and told them she wanted more, Sakura broke things off. This led to a lot of resentment between the two of them because they both felt like the other ruined things. Over time tho, they learned to stop blaming each other and instead focus on bettering themselves. Slowly, they began to rekindle their friendship, and now they’re back on good terms

I wanna bring up sexuality headcanons here, I love the hc of Sakura being a nonbinary lesbian. I could also see pan Sakura since in ASHK they said they don’t care abt gender but lesbian Sakura is my Sakura. I wrote a mini essay on lesbian Mei awhile back and I stand by that. I actually slightly prefer No.4 Mei to OG Mei at times but shhhhh I love them both dearly

Their dates are very lowkey, it’s enough for them just to enjoy each other’s company. Usually they’ll hang out in the art room or have a mini book club in Sakura’s boundary (with tea ofc, it’s not a Sakura ship without tea). Mei doesn’t like fiction so she reads a lot of biography and nature fact books. Sakura likes gothic horror and occasionally a good ol’ mystery book. I also have this crack hc that since Sakura has been around for so long + they blend in with humans, they’ve gone to college several time like the Cullen’s from Twilight. They probably have multiple PhDs. Mei is p much the only person who will let them infodump so she gets crash courses in every major Sakura has taken

Nowadays, if you saw them together you’d have no idea about their complicated history. I just know Nene was flabbergasted when Mei filled her in on the lore. I also like to think Mei and Natsuhiko have some lighthearted beef over Sakura…but Natsuhiko lowkey wants Mei too so it’s a whole mess (just to be clear I hc Natsuhiko as genderfluid and bi so she fits into this equation just fine dw). Their lives could be a soap opera. When Mei is feeling like turning her life around and being social she spends time with the Broadcasting Crew, so her and Sakura still see each other on a regular basis. If Mei goes too long without visiting, Sakura will go to check on her. They look out for each other in subtle ways like that, even when things were rough between them they kept finding small ways to show that they cared. Some feelings still linger so it never really stopped being complicated but they have more of a handle on things now

Anyways I love these partners who are both super bitter towards the world yet filled with love for it. Let them kiss and get back together

The Astubelief Family

Was discussing some lore and Headcanons on D'arts family so here goes some ideas!(Disclaimer: none of this is canon, and is all made for fun)

The Astubeliefs are a mysterious family of Psychics. With their strange fascination with the paranormal and expertise in Cryokenisis, and being able to communicate with the dead for limited amounts of time, they are relatively known with fellow Psychics.

They often travel to nearby Fairs, Carnivals and Circuses to perform their fascinating and supernatural ability on those who wish to communicate with lost loved ones, or enemies. The Astubeliefs are easy to spot, their trademark colors of yellows, greens and oranges, along with their strange hats make them stand out. Not to mention, there's something about the family that makes them look... Dead.

Natasha "Volkov" Astubelief.

Natasha was a relatively quiet, Christian and peaceful woman. She always had a love for space and the stars. She'd tell stories about constellations and planets to her children every night. She died giving birth to her last child, Ania. Despite it being one if the family's main hobbies, Natasha was never fond of the whole communicating with the dead thing. In her eyes, she thought that speaking with spirits would keep them from passing on into Heaven to rest in peace. Ronan and Natasha, though they never fought often, when they did, it would usually be about this.

Ronan Astubelief.

Ronan is a very quiet but strict man. He always kept to himself and trained all of his sons. Ronan is very powerful mentally, and can somewhat communicate with the dead, using a similar method to an Ouji Board or Crystal Ball. After the death of his wife Natasha, he was consumed with grief. Some say he went crazy, as he even believed he could revive Natasha. He experimented on dead animals, and horrific attempts like that. His discovery soon lead him to learn that he'd need a living vessel of some kind to keep her alive. He was too old and weak, not as strong as he used to be. His youngest son, D'Artagnan however...

Seymon Astubelief.

Seymon is the eldest son. He takes after his father, being the family's caretaker after Natasha's passing and his father falling into sadness. He tries his best to keep the family together, but forgets to care for himself at times. Out of all siblings, he is definitely closest to his father's abilities in communicating with the dead.

Vlad Astubelief.

Vlad was and has always been a "Mama's boy" so after his mother's passing he distanced himself from his father. To say he's spoiled would be and overstatement, but he is quite rude and whiney at times whe he doest get his way. Despite his somewhat childish demeanor, he is a professional at using Cryokenisis. He means well, but unfortunately, he's isn't the best with coping.

Filipp Astubelief.

Filipp is definitely the weakest Psychic in the family, but he makes up for it with his physical strength and personality. Filipp usually spends his time playing and entertaining his younger siblings. When things get grim, he tries his best to put a smile on all their faces. Only being able to levitate a few things, and can barely make a flurry with Cryokenisis, he can lift almost anything. And it's hard not to feel at least the littlest at ease when he gives you a smile.

Yuri Astubelief.

Yuri is almost completely mute. Selectively mute. When he does speak, he talks in Russian and rarely speaks in English unless he absolutely has to. Yuri is definitely the more meek Astubelief child. Usually hiding away keeping watch over Ania. The paranormal, and death in general has always frightened Yuri after his mother's death. Which is unfortunate, because like Seymon and his father, he can communicate with the dead, sometimes unwillingly, causing him to have nightmares.

Ania Astubelief.

Ania is the only Astubelief daughter, and the only one of their children who isn't Psychic. Because of this, her whole family is overprotective of her, constantly watching over her. Her father, though he loves her very much, can't stand to look at her because of how much she resembles Natasha. Ania feels like the only people who understand her are Yuri and D'art. Yuri is quiet, so it's easy to talk to him, and D'art is closest to her in age. Despite all these issues, she's the cheeriest of the family. A small beacon of hope that keeps the family together.

D'artagnan Astubelief "Volkov".

D'art is the youngest son of the Astubeliefs. Not only is he incredibly strong mentally, but his Cryokenisis skills are exquisite. D'art has noticed how strange his family has been behaving since his mother's death. It's impacted everyone differently, but the one he's worried most about is his father, who seems to be a quiet, sad, shell of a man one moment, and raving, mad scientist the next. D'Artagnan has a similar situation as Yuri, having nightmares about spirits and the dead.

After his siblings convinced him to check on their father, D'art came to the horrific realization that his father was trying to bring his mother back from the dead. In a desperate attempt, he tried to convince D'art into helping him revive him mother. With his powerful psychic abilities, he could keep her alive. This, however, would mean both D'art and his Mother would basically be half living... half dead.

Not only is this extremely dangerous, but D'art would basically become a zombie. And for all they know, it wouldnt even work. So he ran away to Whispering Rock. He changed his last name to his mother's maiden name, Volkov, so he wouldn't be associated with his old one if his family ever came looking for him.

If it’s not too much of a bother could we have some headcanons about your other characters in that au white and black are in? I don’t entirely know all the lore you’ve set up for it but I’m still pretty curious :)

you have no idea how happy this ask made me 😭 💓

happily, i will info-dump in what my head has been generating for months adhd style

this is our pink equivalent and im torn if her age is between 5-7 but basically this au has this weird supernatural thing going on and it causes unnatural formities and that manifests strongly in phoebe

she is very tantrum prone and does not speak and is obsessed with flowers and does not smile i love her

she is under whites care and got there because shed be easily hunted especially because shes a clear anomaly and also because her unnature is obvious in how her eyes go to stark magenta when she gets pissy wissy

and also shes a pretty powerful ass kid and she has her own garden full of flowers but dominantly hibiscus

this kid knows floriography too

these two!!! its probably not obvious its yd and bd because of how fast i drew this but meet yvette and bonnie and i must explain them separately before i get too carried away in writing how these two interact and accidentally combust again

Yvette Domante:

- usually the one to carry out physical missions and the detective in the authority

- has been through the shit ™ and white found her and the moment somebody accepted her she swore loyalty on her life

- she has blood, sweat, and teared her way through the ranks of her authority and ended up being whites 2nd in hand with pure effort and pain and she takes her position very seriously

- very serious to the point she immediately chooses fight out of the two options when something isnt going her way if she knows she has a chance but otherwise she is calculated and punctuated

- top 3 gayest people she was sent to go after bon by desv and bon was her first failed mission she couldnt fulfill for desv and she hates bons guts because during the mission she got faked and had the shit beaten out of her by an innocent seeming librarian with hidden rage

- she also nearly got stabbed by bon and white had to be the one to actually go to the situation (which is rare because considering how riskily attention catching white is she has to stay in all day with phoebe and a bunch of papers)

- yvette HATES bons guts (at first) and despises her even more when white realizes the amount of potential bon has and bon is effortlessly moved to 3rd in rank in the authority and loathe as she admits it bon is probably more composed and calculated than she is and maybe attractive but this means they have to go on missions together

-technically second in authority and whites right hand woman (?) but white is smarter and warns that she better not use her position to threaten bon and that they are equal in role just different duties

- workaholic and logical who usually everybody is threatened by except for a certain librarian WHO KEEPS GETTING UNDER HER SKIN and speaking of librarian we move on to

Bon Devadiga

- also went through a shitstorm but has lived in peaceful tranquility for years after as a seemingly innocent and well liked but reserved librarian only to HAVE IT RUINED BY A BLONDE

- she is actually forced into the 3rd position because white (who is also not that good of a person) has dirt on her past

- diplomatic and reserved and maybe gentle

- her toxic yuri relationship with her co-worker eventually dissolves into adversarial remarks but good cooperation

- her relationship with yvette eventually improves through Phoebe when white has to go touch sunlight and do missions for the first time in years (unbeknownst to them— with an enemy) and they have to babysit phoebe

- yvette already knows phoebe and is already accustomed to taking care of her at times when white is busy with illegal documents or whatever

- pheobe gravitates towards her gentleness with kids and eventually gives her an assortment of flowers she doesn't understand but notices that they usually go in a certain order

- she and yvette eventually get closer and maybe do gay shit like beat eachother to near death because of a trust issue inducing order given by an unknown superior as a treat

she is what an ex would be if said ex was an obsessive sociopath who murders people and was romantically manipulative towards their lover who adored them

now imagine if that lover was white

she is part loser (please take me back) and part cringefail (i will kill you if you do not accept my infatuation)

and also shes a hoe but whatever

of course we have the local characters that everybody actually likes to a major extent but there is no steven in this universe so they are scattered but still part of the whole thing

can i have some enogiri headcanon?

Enogiri is a ship I always have to think hard about making headcanons for, because unless prompted, I always think about them less in the sense of "a potential relationship with two fully realized characters" and more "I have dropped these two lab rats in a contained area and occasionally throw in a murder implement to see how they react (it's with murder)"

While I don't really subscribe to the idea that Licorne is Junko in disguise, I do think the contrast between Licorne and Kyoko's methods for solving mysteries really highlights some potentially interesting things about the Junko/Kyoko dynamic. Not just Kyoko but detectives in general investigate a crime after the fact, looking into the past. On the other hand, Licorne's detective style of predicting crimes before they occur and Junko's Ultimate Analyst ability are both directed very squarely towards the future, to the point of being almost supernaturally predictive. That contrast slots exactly into their roles in THH by nature of being support/antagonist of a mystery game, with Kyoko taking the lead on discovering what happened in the school vs Junko pushing the students to instead think about how to get out in the future. It's a narrative thread I think you can really futz with.

(Medical horror TW)I think when Kyoko said "what have you done with my body," she was not just talking about amnesia. Junko used Mikan to perform real, invasive surgery while she was unconscious, potentially leaving her with only partially functional use of a limb or with only one lung. Partially it would limit Kyoko's ability to do the athleticism for some of her more intense detective work (thus why we never see her imitating Yui's Six Foot Vertical Leaps). But mostly? I think Junko would just think it's funny. Watching Kyoko despair over sudden chronic pain is exactly the sort of shits and giggles that gets Junko off. She would keep the lung in her control room to fondly look upon. No one is doing toxic yuri quite like Junko Enoshima.

These two absolutely make each other worse, BTW. There's no world where Kyoko and Junko save each other unless a third party is also involved, and even then, it's more likely that anyone they bring in to help will just be dragged down alongside them. Junko makes love notes using entrails and sends Kyoko gifts in the form of tongues she's ripped from her victims' mouths. Kyoko is more interested in investigating why she picked this victim and how exactly she destroyed them than in stopping her from killing the next. They encourage each others worst, most gorey instincts. Sometimes you need a f/f ship where one of them canonically gouges someone's eyes out with a spoon, y'know?

i SWEAR it was a genuine question😭 and i'm a non-destiel-shippeing samgirl myself but my question wasn't about sam, i meant in general because i have seen it in other fandoms and i have seen ppl say that we should pay attention to actual female characters instead of calling males ones a woman/female so i just wanted to know your opinion that's all

lol sorry for being a bit testy about it; this question is at the heart of a lot of highly unproductive and infuriatingly ignorant discourse in this fandom so I’m tired of seeing people talk abt it unless they’re clearly very familiar with the nuances of the canon including all of its ugliest flaws (which are also its most compelling features if you know what you’re doing).

also my answer In General is: it’s complicated. all fandoms are prone to misogyny and favoring male characters and relationships over female characters and relationships. as such it personally bothers me quite a bit when most people she/her male characters whose violence against women is a central part of their identity as characters - dean being one such example.

I do not consider most people’s passion for girl sam headcanons to be the same thing. because misogyny is an absolutely crucial piece of sam’s handling as a character by both the show’s writers and the audience. there are criticisms to make about shippers who cannot adequately separate femininity/womanhood from subservience/meekness, but from what I can tell they do not make up the majority of sam enjoyers who validate and contribute to these headcanons.

furthermore supernatural is a show so profoundly misogynistic that it does not prominently feature any female characters or female relationships under the same spotlight that’s fixed on its men, so naturally there is far more material to explore with its male characters than its female characters. does this mean that we should lazily turn a blind eye to the show’s audience enabling/excusing/doubling down on the show’s mistreatment of its female characters? not in my house it doesn’t lmfao. do not call a single female character on this show a “bitch” in my presence I’m so fucking serious about that.

anyway all of sam’s relationships with women are yuri. godspeed comrade.
