Right! So I made this pie the other day. I had asked you if I could use the syrupy cherries you made me for pie filling, cause I thought that was a tremendous idea. You were thrilled none too pleased. But, you know what? I'm an independent woman and I bit my thumb at you and did it anyway. And mercy! Am I glad I did? YES. Cause it was awesomesauce, so bite me.

Anyway, our readers don't know how to make the syrupy cherries and frankly I don't either, so this recipe is super stupid, but I don't care.

Use a frozen pie crust because homemade ones are too hard to make.

Let it thaw for like some minutes. Maybe watch an episode of Friday Night Lights or Parks and Recreation.

Then, heat up your syrupy cherries on low heat (in a saucepan on the stove, don't light them on fire or something lame). AND preheat your oven to 400.

Mix in to the warming syrupy cherries one tablespoon of flour that you have mixed with enough water to make it a little pasty.

Don't worry if the flour doesn't absorb, it'll be okay. Just stir those bitches for a few minutes. And while they're heating..........

Peel away the sides of the pie crust from the tin and make a sort of little cradle/home for your mixture.

Let the cherries cool a little, or if you're bad ass like me just put them, PIPING-HOT, in the cradle.

Gently roll/fold the sides  up and over so you've got a nice open faced pie.

Put some olive oil (good or not, I don't give a shit) on the exposed crustcollar.

Bake it for like 30 minutes or until you think it looks done and also really pretty.
