I think I forgot to post this here, but here was my participation towards @zayrenvie DTIYS featuring my OC Yuki !

one thing i absolutely adore about the timeskip is how it gives us details about the characters we didn’t know much about before. like i know this probably isn’t true of EVERY character but looking at how many whose timeskip lives reflect their interests and such in high school (kenma, yachi, osamu, fukunaga, etc) then i’m willing to bet that a lot of the others had those hobbies and whatnot back when we first met them and i think that’s so cute??? like semi being a musician he probably had a guitar or something with him back in the dorms. kai became an arborist so maybe he liked taking walks to look at the trees and visited parks or had his own lil garden. lev and alisa might have played dress-up together when they were kids and could have gone shopping a lot in high school. akaashi became an editor so he was probably a giant bookworm and loved reading. like idk i just think it’s neat how it makes it feel like even in the future when we meet everyone again it really does feel like they’ve grown but haven’t changed at all y’know???

These boys, this team, this sport all have a special place in my heart. I am sad that I won’t get to see this particular team play live as two of them retired from the national team but regardless of that I will continue to support all of them no matter what. Tokyo Olympics is when I heard of them, only learnt three of the members then and it was the three I saw everywhere. Yuyuran aka Yuki Ishikawa, Yuji Nishida and Ran Takahashi.

Finally learnt the rest of the team this year and supported them through the Paris Olympics but was really sad with the end results. I know they played their best in that last match and I was still so so proud of them from putting up the fight they did against Italy.

I hope that one day I will get to see them play volleyball live and not just on a screen, if not all of them then some of them 🫶🏽

Assigning oddly specific interests to these characters

yukie - hp lovecraft's written works. she grew up reading a lot of his stories and absolutely HATES lovecraft as a person with a burning passion. favorite work is The Color Out of Space bc its fucking hilarious that lovecraft tried to make the color magenta scary

hinata - the original frankenstein novel. he will defend the monster with his life ("he is the true definition of misunderstood"). he would occasionally reference the book and nobody gets it

ushijima - impossible bottles (bottle containing an object that is too large to fit through it's neck). he has a whole collection in his room. at his dorm he has a bottle with a rubik's cube inside. tendou sometimes catches him assembling a ship in a bottle with a bunch of tweezers

kai and kuroo - terrariums. kai has a moss terrarium put in an old fishbowl and two smaller terrariums in small jars. it's like those cute ones you see on pinterest. kuroo has a MASSIVE terrarium that he had to put in the backyard bc his dad wont let him have it inside. you can barely even see the inside, and if you listen closely you can hear it breathing

fukunaga - people's names. he has a list of names that are over 21k. he loves learning different meanings and origins of names. during middle school, a lot of his classmates would ask him what to name their ocs

yachi - flower seed packets. just the packets, not the seeds. she likes reading the scientific names of the flowers and how to care of them. she will buy a bunch of packets, put the seeds in a jar, and put the packets in a binder

kiyoko - hair sticks. she has a collection of those with beautiful flowers and jewels on them. her favorite is a brown stick with pink flowers (it resembles a sakura branch). suga calls her hair sticks "magic wands"

some important information:

Kuroo is the clan leader, Kai is the deputy, Yaku is the medicine cat (bc they are special JUST like liberos (shibiyama is his apprentice!)) the second years are warriors and the first years are apprentices

they have a penalty if anyone breaks the rp canon and the people that have broken it the most are Lev and Taketora

Hello everyone! Introducing my 9 year old, 500 song, Vocaloid playlist!

This is my archival project. This is where I put any Vocaloid song I have ever vibes with or feel is important enough to include! I’m currently working on a second one since SoundCloud has a 500 song limit per playlist, and I will share that later on when it has enough songs to make it worthwhile.

I’m currently cleaning it up and making a full spread sheet on what’s on the playlist, because SoundCloud likes to randomly take down posts and kill audio files! If you see a song go missing let me know! I’ll compare it to the spreadsheet and get it back on!

I’ve worked on this playlist since 2016 so it’s a bit messy, a few covers, and a few honorable mentions. Enjoy!!!
