Just rewatched the korean remake of Why R U and my goodness I forgot how smug Yugyeom was.

He sucks at showing how he feels openly, but shows so many obvious clues how he actually feels about Sunwoo the entire time.

Sunwoo is shocked and surprised at having taken home Yugyeom without even remembering- and meanwhile Yugyeom is happiness in human form.

Finally he was able to see how Sunwoo lives, get a glimpse of what he likes and how he makes amends with the little he has. Even took a shower and dried his hair as if he's been there loads of times. It seems so insignificant, but it's obviously so huge for him aka "progress" in getting closer to the other.

I'm obsessed with them again, help.

Am I supposed to already love them this much? The way Yugyeom just obviously wants to take care of him but can't act on it and Sunwoo is doing everything in his power to not just stay out of his way but out of his debt...

And then YuKyeom looks at him like that and I am gone. Smitten beyond words. He's no Fighter but he is a version of him, not one filled to the brim with spitfire but instead with the same amount of an intense longing he cannot name or show but runs a current through him constantly that comes out in half-smiles and a moment's hesitation and the way he can't stop trying to get closer to him.

He absolutely melts at the tiniest little cheek kiss and turns into a grinning little creature of light and I love him.

He just can't help himself, y'all. Absolutely cannot.

Ugh, again, utterly destroyed. Just by them. By their existence. It's the line between longing and knowing you can't do anything about it and longing and wanting to be free from those thoughts and wanting nothing more than to keep on longing all at the same time.
