Come on, we are taking the jet and heading to New York City. While we are there, any place you want to go? Lovino will go about this the most painful way possible to him. He hates seeing his s/o upset and homesick, but this boi is awkward about talking about feelings and all that, so in his mind, the way to fix this problem is to pretend he wants to go to America.
