Akito though, like he is with most things, would rather explode than admit it.

Akito will bashfully ask if you can sing to him. He just likes your voice, is all. He can't get enough of it.

He's actually heard of your group and their songs even before you started dating. He wasn't a superfan per se, he just enjoyed the music. He discovered it while branching out towards other genres of music that weren't classical. It was interesting to him.

Toya was definitely surprised when you told him. Not complete, utter shock, but it was still slightly surprising to him.

Likes to listen to you playing the guitar. He'll even request songs at times, humming along with each string your fingers strike. Same goes for when you sing, he compliments your voice. He chuckles seeing your face turn red at his words.

kyo kaneko x reader

Just like every other school day, Kyo wakes up, gets ready for class, and waits for his friends, Ren and Aster.

He waits outside their dorms for a moment, leaning against the wall.

Ren comes out of his dorm room and greets Kyo. Almost immediately, Aster comes out his dorm too and greets his friends. The three of them start walking down to the cafeteria of the school to eat breakfast. The boys talked and laughed while they ate their first meal of the day.

20 minutes had passed, the bell rang, signaling it was time for students to start walking to their next class of the day. The three boys threw away their trash and walked out of the cafeteria. The doors to the cafeteria led to the outside, leading to multiple other hallways and classrooms.

ILUNA, Institute of Mythics, has one big courtyard in the middle. The school is made up of eight big hallways, arranged like a square of top of another square with a hole in the middle of both of them. Four hallways on the second floor, four hallways on the first floor. The courtyard has multiple buildings in it, such as the library, watch tower, the planetarium, observatory, and a smaller building that has more classrooms. It's a big courtyard.

Aster had already gone to his first class of the day, the first classroom next to the cafeteria.

Ren spotted Maria within the crowd of students and promptly chased after her, since they had their first class together.

After a few seconds, the concrete path cleared up, only a few students remained, walking to their classes.

The pathways were mostly empty now.

Kyo's first class of the day was Potions 101. He had it with Scarle. He had already memorized his schedule by now. He was about to start walking forward until he felt a pair of arms around him. Kyo's body stiffened, not knowing how to react, just like every other day.

Every single day without fail, Kyo gets hugged from behind in the same hallway at ILUNA Institute. It is, of course, his lovely S/O.

His S/O couldn't see it from behind, but his face turned bright red, nearly identical to a tomato.

Little did he know, a pair of familiar silhouettes were watching. The two people watching were, of course, Aia, the angel, who was infamous around the Institute of the Mythics for being kicked out of heaven, and Doppio, the delinquent from the friendly rival school, XSOLEIL, Institute of Infinity. Aia was heading to library as she was apart of the library committee. The library committee helped around the library and each member was scheduled to help out once a week during one of their classes. This was Aia's time. Doppio was skipping school, as usual and decided to drop by to spy on the ILUNA students.

They watched from afar, hiding behind the door to the exit. Aia silently laughed as she took out of her phone. Doppio was chuckling to himself as well, taking his phone out, his magenta phone case blending in with the shade as the sun hid away from behind the door.

Aia and Doppio quickly snapped a pictures of Kyo and his S/O, knowing this would be really funny blackmail.

Aia's phone made a shutter sound. Knowing that Kyo heard it, she quickly put away her phone. Her phone case covered in Genshin Impact stickers was hid away in flash as she darted across the courtyard, making her way to the library in hopes that a now 6 foot tall Kyo Kaneko wouldn't kill her in broad daylight.

Despite the fact that Doppio's phone also made a shutter sound, he ran away with the evidence and no harm done to him. As he ran away to the Institute of Ininfity to show the student council, he silently giggled and muttered to himself about how this would be SO embarrassing for Kyo and that he was going to show this to all of the student council and Kyo's friends.

Kyo's face returned to normal when he heard Aia's phone. Kyo quickly ran after Aia in attempt to make her delete and and all photos she took while his S/O watched in silence from under the shade.

"DELETE IT, YOU BITCH!!" Kyo shouted at Aia in an angry, but joking manner

"NOT A CHANCE, YOU COTTON CANDY LOOKING ASS BITCH!" Aia shouted as she tried her best to pull her phone away from Kyo.

"YOU SOUND LIKE SCARLE. SHE USES THE SAME GODDAMN INSULT FOR ME BECAUSE SHE CAN'T COME UP WITH ANYTHING BETTER!" Kyo yelled with a smile on his face. It seemed like he almost laughed at what he was saying.

"FUCK YOU. SHE'S TRYING VERY HARD WITH HER ROASTS. DON'T INSULT MY WIFE LIKE THAT." Aia cackled.

"YEAH I KNOW THAT I'M LITERALLY FUCKING TEACHING HER HOW TO ROAST PEOPLE LIKE WE WILL LITERALLY SIT TOGETHER DURING LUNCH AND TRY TO COME UP WITH INSULTS FOR RANDOM STUDENTS WALKING BY ON CAMPUS AND ALSO SHE'S LIKE MY SISTER I WOULD NEVER INSULT HER AND MEAN IT LIKE WHAT'RE YOU ON ABOUT YOU SPAWN OF SATAN-" From a distance, it sounded like Kyo was freestyle rapping. He was talking extremely quickly without taking a breath and laughing extremely hard too. So was Aia.

At this point, they were both out of air and his S/O was laughing from under the shade as well.

The bell finally rung, signaling that if you weren't at class yet, then you were late.

Aia darted to the library before yelling something petty to Kyo. Kyo gave you a peck on the cheek before he quickly dashed to his first class.

As he was running away, he was a blushing mess.

You best believe he was absolutely sweating buckets and shaking like a scared chihuahua.

Mostly held it together. That was until you had to say your vows. He started tearing up at your words and you could hear Ena and Mizuki's quiet giggles, yet they were still so proud of him despite the constant teasing all these years.

Pretty casual wedding. Kohane was the flower girl and An was Akito's hypewoman. Toya and Ena sat at the same table during the reception, chatting and telling each other their tales of Akito.

Speaking of the reception, it was mostly white with some brown and green sprinkled in, with yellow-ish lights.

Also, that was probably the best cake Akito had ever had in his life.

As you walked down the aisle, Akito couldn't help but tear up a bit, blown away by how gorgeous you looked in your wedding attire, but then again you always looked gorgeous. He simply wiped his tear away with the sleeve of his suit and looked back at his best man, Toya, for reassurance.

When you finally arrived at the end of the aisle and planted your feet under the flower arch, looking at Akito softly, it finally hit him that this was it. You were going to spend the rest of your lives together and he couldn't be happier, especially since it was you.

You took his hands in yours, reciting your vows that had taken you so long to write and memorize, carefully thinking of every word that would tug at Akito's heartstrings. Akito could be heard sniffing, quiet and beneath your words as he was nearly crying. He was sure his vows couldn't beat yours.

After both of you finished your vows, you put the rings on each other's fingers before lightly kissing each other on the lips. You would've kissed longer but you wanted to spare Akito from even more of Ena and Mizuki's teasing. The crowd cheered and thus began the reception. An, Kohane, and Toya were congratulating you and Akito as Ena angrily chased around Mizuki the venue like little kids.

After things settled down, you began to cut the cake. It was a white, three tiered with flowers made of frosting on top of the third tier. You put a hand on the knife, he put a hand on the knife, and you both cut out a slice of the third teir. The two of you carefully put the slice of cake on a plate, then Akito took a fork and fed you a bit of the cake. It was delicious, so you took the liberty of feeding him as well.

You both sat down at a table, setting the plate down, you fed Akito the cake as music played throughout. As if on cue, the speakers began playing the one slow song you had added to the wedding playlist as the cake had been entirely eaten.

Trying to act romantic, Akito got up from his chair and held his hand out to you. "Would you care for a dance?" He smiled, lights glistening around him as the music seemed to blend into the background.

"You know, you look kinda weird whenever you do that act of yours." You laughed. You both knew how he'd act when greeting strangers. Although you'd been together for years at this point, Akito was acting akin to that exact act.

Akito flushed at the mention of it, his cheeks were getting hotter and his eyebrows furrowed. "Do you wanna dance or not?" He looked off to the side, slightly embarrassed.

You took his hand and stood up as you practically dragged him. You let your hands rest on his shoulders, they fit perfectly, almost like a puzzle piece. He took your right hand, his free hand around you, as if he didn't want to let go of you. During the rest of the song, Akito quietly guided you, your steps following his own.

As the song ended, he leaned in for a kiss. He wanted to make up for the short kiss at the alter. As you parted, he whispered. "I don't think I want this dance to end."

"We couldn't have asked for a more perfect night, huh?" You smiled, reminiscing on today and realizing you had your entire future with the love of your life ahead of you.

the next monday, you had your sights set on one thing. making things right with your partner. while leaving your 9am class, you got a text from belphie.

you had gotten back to your dorm while texting levi, so you took off your shoes, left your backpack on the floor, and waited for levi. it actually took way less than ten minutes for him to get there. he knocked on the door and you let him in, welcoming him with a smile on your face.

"levi!! how's it going." you greeted him as he sighed. you led him to your tiny couch. he sat down as you took out your laptop and made a blank document. you titled it as "VERY WELL MADE SPEECH" before turning to levi.

"so, how should we start this" you asked. levi shrugged and you sighed in response. "okay, let's see..." you turned back to your screen. "maybe, like, "hey guy who got assigned my partner-" levi was interrupted by you. "no, that's lame!!"

"well, do you have anything better?" levi asked. "no..." you frowned and sighed again, turning back to your computer screen and beginning to type levi's sentence.

"i should apologize to him. maybe that'll get his attention." you thought out loud. "what did you even do? i just don't get it, mc." levi laid back and crossed his arms.

"i dunno." you laughed. levi ran his fingers through his hair. "you're hopeless..." you gasped at his remark. "rude, much? anyway, let me type out an apology.

once you were finished with the apology paragraph, levi asked to see it. it read:

"hello guy who got assigned my partner. on friday, when we got out partners assigned, you had stared a stare of hatred at me. you looked like you wanted me dead. and for that i'm sorry. i'm sorry that, although i don't remember, i may have hurt you in the past. whatever i did to you, i hope you'll forgive me."

"that's the first paragraph, right?" levi asked, somewhat confused. you nodded. "yeah. why, is it too short or too long or something?"

"oh, no. it's great. you could probably add a little more and then you could be done. i think he'd forgive you." levi concluded, proud of your apology letter. "alright, i'll add a bit and then i'll let you read it again. sound good?" you asked. levi hummed in agreement. and thus, you began typing away.

after a few minutes, you lifted your fingers off the keyboard, handing you laptop to levi, who had began playing ruri tunes on his phone while waiting. the final apology letter read:

"hello guy who got assigned my partner. on friday, when we got out partners assigned, you had stared a stare of hatred at me. you looked like you wanted me dead. and for that i'm sorry. i'm sorry that, although i don't remember, i may have hurt you in the past. whatever i did to you, i hope you can forgive me, and if you don't i hope that you can either forgive me in the future or that we can move on from this, as i would like to work on our project like the civilized people we are. though, i do hope you accept my apology as it would be pretty difficult to work with someone who hates your guts. thank you, blonde man."

"it's super long, are you sure he's gonna listen to you read all of it?" levi voiced his only concern, he actually thought it was pretty good. if it was an essay, that is. "meh, i'm sure it'll be fine. hopefully. anyway, thanks for the very helpful help you gave me you totally didn't supply me with one sentence." you said as levi silently powered off ruri tunes. "mc, i was supposed to help you stop solomon from telling everyone about you half-assed plan. you tend to forget things, you know." you mouthed an "oh".

finally ignoring him, you checked the time on your laptop. "oh, look at that, we only spent ten minutes. i honestly thought it'd take longer."

"well, thanks for your help, man." you said as levi got up and grabbed his things. "don't mention it." he said as he opened the door.

after he closed the door you yelled out for him. "i'm still not getting you the vinyls. you didn't really help, y'know." you heard a soft groan from levi, muffled by the door. you soon heard his footsteps getting quieter, until they couldn't be heard.

"well, time to wait three whole hours just to see that guy's response.." you thought to yourself. "a long, grueling, three hours..."

01: PARTNERED UP

to your dismay, your professor had assigned everyone partners for an upcoming writing project. your furrowed your brows in annoyance. almost immediately, you stopped paying attention as to silently rebel against the professor. he kept talking as you stared at the same spot on the wall. you hadn't noticed, but everyone around you started moving.

eventually, a blonde man you had never noticed in class had come to sit by you. he opened up his laptop covered in cat stickers and made a blank document.

you looked at his computer screen and looked around the lecture hall. you we're utterly clueless. you figured he must be your partner for the project, despite the fact that he hadn't even said a single word.

"uhm, are you gonna say something..?" your head tilted a bit, voice dripping with curiosity. he finally turned to look at you for the first time. you were expecting a "hello" but instead, you were greeted with the scariest death glare you've ever seen. you felt as though he was staring into the darkest corners of your soul.

you shivered and ultimately turned away to look at your own laptop screen as the blonde returned to typing away. you stared at your screen, mind completely blank other than your mind occasionally wandering to your lunch with solomon after this class was over, which was great because you were starving.

a couple minutes had passed and everyone was starting to pack up and leave. you hadn't thrown your laptop in your backpack faster than before. you speed-walked out of the lecture hall, out the building, into the dorm building, and into your dorm, somehow keeping the same pace the entire time in such a large distance. you unlocked the door and threw your backpack on the ground.

you looked around your mini fridge for anything to eat. you had found a granola bar sitting in the corner of the mini fridge and decided that suffice until you could make it to the café off-campus with solomon.you sat down on the floor and opened up twitter while eating the granola bar. almost immediately, you had gotten notifications from your two best friends.

well call yourself john liar because you lied to your two best friends. you're not even sure why. but there was no time to dwell on that since solomon must have been waiting for you. you left the granola wrapper on the floor and ran out your dorm, phone in hand. you didn't realize you had forgotten your wallet in your backpack until you got to the café.

you approached the little building on the corner with a wooden sign reading ocean's café. it was formerly a corner store but it unfortunately went bankrupt. the owner had to sell everything. a young woman named ocean had recently bought and renovated it, and now it's a cute little café.

you could see through the glass that solomon was already waiting for you at a wooden table. you felt a bit bad, but you assumed he hadn't been waiting very long. you walked in and the bells on the door jingled as it hit the glass.

"hey sol." you turned and sat down across from him. "oh, mc. how you kept me waiting..." he said, faking the sad expression on his face. you turned you phone on and checked the time. "i'm two minutes late, you're so dramatic. and honestly that shouldn't even be considered late because-" solomon laughed as to cut you off. "i'm kidding, i'm kidding."

as if on cue, the waiter walked over to your table to take your order. you took your orders and waited around ten minutes for the food. while waiting, solomon decided to begin some small talk with you. "so, how have you been settling into your creative writing class?" he smiled.

"well, i think my partner for our next project hates me..." you started. "oh? who's your partner?" he asked, tapping the wooden table with his fingernails.

"i dunno..." you shrugged. "mc, how do you not know..?" he stopped tapping on the table, turning all of his attention to you. you shrugged again. "and why would they hate you? i assume you don't know them."

"i don't, but," you said as solomon sighed. "he looked at me like he wanted me dead! can you believe it?" you exclaimed. the waiter then brought out solomon's stack of blueberry pancakes and your belgium waffles. the waiter poured coffee for the both of you and proceeded to set down the syrup. he smiled and walked off to continue his job.

"look at us. eating breakfast for lunch." solomon seemed... enthusiastic? "uh huh yeah never heard of before. anyway," you brushed him off. "what should i do about my partner?"

solomon hummed as he thought to himself. "maybe make amends with him? i think he just got off on the wrong foot so it'd be best to just start over and reintroduce yourselves." he took a bite of his pancakes and swallowed before talking again. "it'd be pretty difficult to write a story with a guy who hates you, huh?" he took another bite of his pancakes.

Tsukasa loved your drawings and always wanted to look at them when you finished one. One day, you were sitting on a couch at the Tenma's living room as Tsukasa showed off his poses. You had your sketchbook out and were drawing, but Tsukasa thought nothing of it.

"I have to use the bathroom. I'll be back."

"Of course, my love! Take your time!"

Tsukasa noticed that you left your sketchbook open on the couch. He was one to respect your privacy, but curiosity got to him and he looked at the page. It was of him... posing. He flipped the page and it was also of him. He kept flipping through the pages... was this sketchbook just dedicated to drawings of him..?

He closed your sketchbook, deciding he had looked enough and sat on the couch in silence, waiting for you to return.

Emu adored you. And your art. You brought your sketchbook wherever you went. She always got super excited when you showed her your drawings. She would always compliment your art.

On a certain summer evening, you were watching her troupe's performance in the audience as the red and violet skies rested above Phoenix Wonderland.

Emu and her troupe was performing their spin on a fairytale classic. Emu was dressed in this lovely brown dress. You thought she was adorable and couldn't help whip out your sketchbook and draw her.

The show was over and you had finished your drawing just in time. Emu rushed over to you as soon as she could and gave you a peck on the cheek.

She noticed you had your sketchbook out, and looked at the page out of curiosity.

"Oh! Is that me? I look so wonderhoy!!"

A soft smile spread on your face.

"Are there more drawings of me in there? And most importantly... can I see them!?"

You nodded gently and flipped the pages, showcasing your drawings of Emu.

You sat in class as you waited for the day to be over. You pulled out a green notebook and started drawing Nene out of boredom. You were sat in a spot of the classroom as to where you had the perfect view to look at her for a reference.

You had finished drawing her hair, face, and head as the bell rung. You slowly got up and put your stuff away. As you were putting away your notebook, Nene approached you. She greeted you as you began to close the notebook. Nene stopped your hand from closing the notebook and examined the page you drew her on.

"This is me, right? It looks nice."

"Thank you. It took me a bit to get your hair right, though."

You began to close the notebook and put it away in your bag. Once you were done, Nene's hands intertwined with yours and you began to walk home.

You were visiting Rui's house as he worked on one his inventions. You watched in silence as he worked. You eventually pulled out a notebook from your bag and began to draw him.

After about an hour, you were finished with your drawing. Rui looked over his shoulder and looked at the page.

"Is that me?"

You looked up from the page.

"Yeah.."

"I look wonderful! Would you mind if I hung it up?"

"Not at all, go ahead."

From that day on, Rui would always ask to hang up your artwork of him whenever he found the chance. He's hung up countless of your drawings near his workspace. He thinks your art is wonderful and he adores the way you draw him.

Akito waited on the couch, scrolling through his phone, waiting for you to get home from your audition. He was extremely proud of you, as you had just barely managed to land it.

He heard the door open and looked up. He saw you at the door, dejected and head hanging low. He could guess what had happened.

He silently watched as you took off your shoes and approached the couch.

"I got cut." You sighed. "I didn't even make it past the first round." You frowned, upset.

He was quiet. He didn't know what to say.

Akito inhaled. "Well, they're missing out." He finally said.

Akito stood up and took your hands in his. "If they can't see how talented you are, then they're not worth working for. They're obviously dumb."

You smiled at him. He could be endearing when he wanted to. You chuckled a bit as he led you into the kitchen for a snack. You were probably hungry after auditions, after all.

Mizuki waited in the parking lot of the building, where auditions were being held. They ate a pastry from a bakery across the street of the building while leaning against a stranger's car.

They saw a group of people leaving the double doors of the building. It was a large group, about twenty people.

Wow, that's a lot of people, and it's just the first round! I feel sorry for them... Mizuki lost their train of thought once they saw you, all the way at the back of the crowd leaving.

They stopped chewing on their pastry momentarily as you walked up to them.

"Didn't go well, I assume?" Their voice was quiet. You shook your head and stared at the ground.

"Hey, it's okay, come here." Mizuki leaned in to hug you. It was unusual to see them so... unplayful?

You hid your face in their shoulder as you embraced, yet they cupped your face and lifted up your head. All to give you a smooch on the forehead.

"You're so talented. Don't let them bring you down, okay? You'll do great at the next one." Mizuki continued to cup your face.

Moments like these were great reminders as to why you loved Mizuki so much.

A girl was walking an absolute gigantic white dog along the sidewalk and upon seeing it you shrieked before hiding behind him, shaking and everything.

He was scared too, but not to the extent you were. Also he's not vocal about his fear, so that's definitely it.

Immediately pushes you away as the girl walking the dog watched in confusion.

That was the day Akito found out you were afraid of dogs. Just you, him, Samo-chan, and a very confused Minori. How romantic.

Tries his best to keep you away from dogs, he does NOT want his eardrums to bleed.

Low-key thinks it's funny (he says that but he's also terrified).

Despite the fact that you're also terrified, he would rather die than admit he's also afraid of dogs, so he just suffers in silence and makes fun of you for it.

WILL grab you by the wrist and take you away upon seeing a dog. It could be a trembling chihuahua and he'd still do it.
