Thank you so much everyone for your kind words on my Cal Kestis cosplay!!! It was a blast to wear around the con, and I can't wait to wear it again!

My mom graciously was the one who made my cosplay, and she did an amazing job!!! She is a very talented seamstress, and I def need to learn how to sew from her haha BD-1 I got from Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland, and my lightsaber I got from Disneyland as well.

So much of Christian teaching around thought crime is dependent on the idea that we are fully in control of every thought we have. And when it interfaces with mental health it becomes extremely dangerous. Like the below:

"Anxiety is a sign you're not trusting God's plan for your life."

"If you're depressed that means you're not relying on God to be your joy."

Neither of these things are true and they don't reflect how either anxiety or depression actually work. Illnesses have been used for hundreds of years by religion to demonize people. If you would scoff at someone saying a person's cancer is because of specific sin in their life, you should hold the above statements in similar contempt.

There are real treatments for depression and anxiety that help people. It's not a matter of a person's faith and claiming so IS HARMFUL TO PEOPLE WHO SUFFER FROM THOSE ILLNESSES! Judging people as sinful or of little faith for their illnesses makes it harder for them to receive real life bringing care from professionals trained to provide it.

why do youtubers feel so comfortable cutting clips from other people's videos?? without asking and without crediting or linking the original videos and now a watermark with their channel name is lingering over a clip that I recorded and uploaded I find it especially rude when somebody has 68 thousand subscribers and they take a clip from a person who has 300 subscribers... and the viewers on these big channels think that the uploader recorded everything themselves because they even watermark it with their own channel name if you want to make a video that shows multiple scenes from a video game, record those scenes yourself, don't just download another person's vid and cut the part you want into your video... I also had to record it or you know... maybe ask permission and credit the original uploader and link their video or their channel

Some old shopping channel videos that partially recorded over my cartoons as a kid, thought I'd upload them here for archival purposes (2/3)

BEHOLD. CUP. that's vaguely triangular- Made this during the fever of having like 2 weeks to throw 50 pieces. I died a few times but I'm ok. This piece was fired in a wood fired salt kiln. Finally got to have an (2) over night shift! Was very fun.

I swear it's not as wobbly in person- if you could see the set up I used to film this you would vomit. Don't get me wrong. It's not my best work, but the fact this was held up on several scrap pieces of wood from the burn pile and then sat on top of a folded up pillowcase that I couldn't remove a ridge in the middle from making it even more wonky. BUT I DIGRESS.

#it REALLY didnt want to be fired. it tryed to not get fired like 5 times thoughout the prosses.. first i somehow lost it after fireing it.#then i put it into the kiln room and it got moved to a top shelf where it hid till the last second to get fired.#then i nearly forgot to bring it to the place with the kiln. then i nearly lost it in the bin i brought it in and it almost didnt get glaze #then i nearly droped it on the way to the kiln. then we were running out of room and it was just too tall for the 4 inch stilts but too #short for the 6 inch ones so it kept getting put back- BUT IT GOT FIRED. AND IT MINE. Yoyoyo!!

Finally finished my first short film for my Uni course. There are definitely improvements I can already see that I need to make but that’s the whole point of learning so I’ll defo be making better stuff in the future but for now I’m pretty happy with it!!

I’m gonna be making a ‘making of’ film where I explain my process and ideas so I might share that later on too :D
