Honestly, while we're on the subject of the DG3 anime, I've got a bone to pick with that whole Junko thing too.
The question of whether "She just did it with mind control" is a good explanation or a disappointing one has been discussed to death. Personally, I'm on the latter side. I want every aspiring writer to hear this: Mind control is the worst possible explanation you can ever give for a character's motives, in any context.
When you boil "Why did character X do Y?" down to mind control, you have made your story weaker. Always. Stop doing this.
But that's not actually my beef. I agree with that beef, but that's not my beef.
My problem with the anime's handling of Junko is that, in the process of turning everything into mind control, they also screwed up her background.
When Junko finally reveals herself in the last trials of DG 1 and 2, what we're seeing from her is very specifically Mask Off Junko. We're getting to see her true self. But it's implied that there existed, for a time, a Mask On Junko.
Junko Enoshima was able to attend Hope's Peak Academy for two years without anyone ever being the wiser about her malevolent goals and aspirations. She can't have just been strolling down the halls shoving knives in everyone's faces and ranting openly about despair.
Like. The Ultimate Fashionista had a convincing enough Mask On persona that, when things did ultimately go south, she was able to pass the interview and be selected as one of the students to be sealed into the school. Junko Enoshima was picked to be a part of the world's final, ultimate hope in the face of society's collapse.
The anime tries to explain this by having Junko blackmail Sakakura, threatening to out him as gay if he doesn't go along with her plans. Which. Uh. Gross. But, setting that particular story choice aside, it just doesn't feel like she could have been acting like this for two years without anybody ever noticing, and it especially feels wrong that she'd pass the interview with all these suspicions surrounding her in the first place.
The person who is probably a terrorist leader responsible for the end of the world but nobody has ever quite managed to prove it would not be selected to be part of the last ultimate hope. They wouldn't be able to move against her, but they also wouldn't pin all of their hopes on her like this. It's completely ridiculous to depict Junko as being Mask Off all the time.
And what really gets me is that the anime doesn't even do Mask Off Junko correctly. Mask Off Junko routinely gets bored of her own persona and invents a different one. It's one of the most psychotic things about her, and it's great. And by "routinely", I mean every few seconds or so. She switches up her personality constantly.
We see very little of this in the anime. It's there on occasion, but for the most part Anime Junko has one consistent set of mannerisms across every scene she appears in. She's dumbed down to just Generic Psycho whose only particular quirk is that she's prone to constant violence.
This all just feels wrong. It's written like she just showed up a few months before the Tragedy, started killing everybody, and nobody could stop her. And that's completely inconsistent with what we know the character's background to actually be, and her personality is completely inconsistent to what we know the character's personality to actually be.
They didn't write Junko Enoshima for this anime. They wrote Monokuma, and slapped a Junko Enoshima skin over him. But Monokuma is literally just one of the characters Junko plays.

Her attire is a blend of leather and chainmail, optimized for mobility and protection.
History: Kiera’s past is a tapestry of shadowed alleys and whispered secrets. Orphaned at a young age, she was taken in by a guild of mercenaries and trained in the arts of combat and survival. She quickly made a name for herself as a skilled fighter and tracker.

Secret: She harbors a deep vendetta against a shadowy figure from her past, whose identity she keeps close to her chest.
Allies & Contacts: Kiera has few friends but many contacts, including informants within the thieves’ guilds, a network of fellow bounty hunters, and a few honest guards who respect her work.
What’s in their pockets?: A set of well-worn throwing knives, a coin from her first successful bounty, and a small, faded drawing of a family she’s never known.
Character Synopsis: Kiera Nightingale, the human fighter and bounty hunter, is a silent shadow in the world of High Fantasy. Her dark hair and steely gaze are as much a warning as an introduction. With each bounty she collects, Kiera not only enforces the law but also pieces together the puzzle of her own fragmented past, seeking closure and a peace that has long eluded her.
May Kiera Nightingale’s relentless pursuit and unwavering spirit add a layer of intrigue and determination to your campaign!

Pt.2 / Pt.4
----------------------------------
Time passed as I got accustomed to my new situation. I knew by now I was never going to have my old life back, never going to get free. To the outside, I was missing, probably dead and I felt like I was not the girl I used to be - and would probably never be. I had unknowingly become part of the League, but I actually liked it. Dabi's room had become mine, even Shigaraki didn't mind about it, for Dabi slept most of the time on the couch in the lounge. The tight work schedule of the League made it impossible to find time for each other and Shigaraki, being completely engulfed in his leadership goals, hadn't come up to me either.
One evening most members were out and I was left alone with Toga supervising me. We were at the bar, I had been drinking a couple of gin tonics as we were stuck in conversation. Toga suddenly had her elbows on the table and leaned in so close I could feel her breath on my face. She chirped with her happiest voice “Forgot to tell you: got a special date today. Can you help me get pretty, please?” she grinned at me with an eager mewl, eyes almost squinting.
I sighed, “Ok, but no sticking knives in me, got that?” She crossed her heart and grinned “Promise!”
Squealing with joy she grabbed my hand and guided me to her room. Once there, she retrieved a bag from the bathroom, stuffed with all sorts of makeup. Sitting her down in a chair, I knelt in front of her and grabbed an eyeliner, unscrewing the top. She shivered in excitement, all the while licking her lips, eyeing me with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Turning towards her, I started applying the makeup on her, faces only inches away from each other. I noticed her excited hot breath fanning my face, smelling like bubblegum.
"So, uhm, who's your date?“ I questioned, hovering in front of her.
Before I knew it she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her, her soft warm lips locking with mine. I was frozen in surprise as she pulled back and whispered “You…” and then I felt a sting in my fingertip. I jolted away from her, looking down at my finger. Blood started oozing out of a hole in the tip of my finger, slowly running down my finger.
“Fuck, Toga!” I yelled at her, while she giggled and wiggled a large syringe needle in her hand, “No knife, see?”
“Brat!” I spat out, staring at her, stunned. There was an awkward moment of silence between us as the blood started dripping on the floor.
“Please, just one lick?” She begged, eyes gleaming with pure desire, a smile like a thousand volts in her face as she kept licking her lips.
“Geez Toga...” I mumbled as I suddenly felt the alcohol kick in while the adrenaline wore off. Without any time to react, she grabbed my finger and pulled it towards her mouth. Her tongue came out and, sliding it up, she collected all the blood on it. I gasped as she closed her plush warm lips around my finger, cheeks hollowing as she started sucking on it. Her eyes narrowed, as she kept relentlessly pulling the blood out of my finger. With a plop, she released it, my red juice pooling rapidly on the tip from the suction and she opened her mouth. Dark red, thick fluid covered her tongue, puddling around it. I felt nausea creeping up inside me as she closed her eyes, swirling it around in her mouth before visibly swallowing it. She opened her mouth again, now empty, and grinned sharp and wide.
“You're sick,” I groaned as I staggered off to the door on wobbly legs.
Toga kept calling after me "Awhh… that wasn't that bad! Please stay!"
But I ignored her and continued on to Dabi's room. Nausea kept stirring my insides as I stumbled into it, ripping open the bathroom door and convulsing over the toilet, vomiting into it. As nausea finally subsided, I leaned back, feeling heavy with foreboding rumbling deep inside my core as I hung my head and cried.
----------------------------------
Shigaraki had been out with the other members to meet another villain group to potentially join forces. The evening had stretched itself out, I had been left alone for the first time. I sat in the lounge and played with some cards, getting myself a drink once in a while.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the familiar purple warp gates opening and each member, one by one, appeared through it. At least I thought so. As Shigaraki passed through the gate, covered in his hands, I could feel something was off. He was fuming with anger, his whole body shaking, while everyone else seemed in a gloomy mood, hurrying to shuffle out of his way. He stomped to the bar, hissing and cursing, as Kurogiri almost flew behind the counter to pour him a whiskey. He grabbed it, lifted "Father" for a moment and chugged it in one go. Still ranting to himself his glaring red eyes darted across the room as if he was looking for something. Finally, his crazed gaze fell upon me, his eyes narrowing.
"You..." he glared at me across the room.
Everyone went silent, all eyes on me.
Shigaraki slowly approached me, his hand stretched out as he rasped an undeniable order "My room, now."
My eyes widened with fear, I stumbled to my feet, tripping backward against the chairs,
"N- no, please…" I stuttered out, shaking my head frantically.
"I said my room," his voice was even more chilling than before. As I still didn't respond, he darted towards me. With no time to react, he grabbed my wrist and jerked me with him towards the door. I stumbled after him, protesting, tears starting to well in my eyes as I looked over my shoulders.
Everyone stood unmoved, no one had the guts to speak up. Toga even wiggled her fingers after me with a sheepish grin on her face. And then my eyes found Dabi’s. His face placid, he watched me being pulled out of the room. His behavior felt treacherous, I was hurt, lost as I pleaded "Dabi please help!" but all he did was avert his eyes and then he disappeared out of sight as Shigaraki coached me through the door into the hallway.
Being dragged after him, I stumbled a few times trying to keep up with his pace. Once at his room, he kicked his door open and yanked me inside, having me lose my footing and fall to the floor on all fourths. He slammed the door shut behind me and rasped "Undress."
“N- No, I won't!” I shook, scrambling to my feet.
"You're testing my patience, little Spoils," he hissed, approaching me with five fingers pointing at me.
I felt the built-up anger inside me bubble up and couldn't contain myself anymore. If he were to dust me, then be it! “Fine, jerk!” I yelled at him, aware of the danger I was getting myself into by saying that. Hands shaking I fumbled on my button and zipper, slowly pulling down my pants. Shigaraki ignored my harsh tone though and turned towards a dresser on the side. Not leaving me out of his sight he one by one unhinged the hands off of him and placed them neatly into a drawer.
As I stood only in my underwear in the middle of the room, he strode towards me and grabbed my wrist. Ignoring my loud protests he pulled me towards the bed and pushed me belly down onto it. I cringed when he pried open my legs, kneeling between them. The rustling of his pants being undone was accompanied by my pleas not to hurt me again. But he kept ignoring me, prodding one finger inside, slowly gliding in and out.
"So hot for me…" he snarled, red eyes glowing with excitement, as he licked his dry lips.
"Shigaraki, don't make me fucking bleed again!" I cried out, lifting my arms, trying to prop myself up. But his right hand grabbed the back of my head and pressed it down into the sheets.
"Shut up!" His voice full of irritation.
My complaints were muffled by the sheets as he prodded himself at my entrance, pushing my panties aside. His left hand pressed against my back, thumb curled in, pinning my body against the mattress as he sheathed himself inside me with one strong thrust. I wailed into the sheets at his forceful intrusion.
The stretch from his girth was still unbearable. I groaned as he started pumping himself into me, letting out angry huffs as he kept muttering fucking yakuza… fuckin' brat… should have dusted him… I whimpered into the sheets as he continued pounding into me. By the time he came, I felt that dull pain in my core again and anger almost boiled over inside me. As he caught his breath and pulled out, reaching for his pants, I jerked around and yelled at him "Fuck, Shigaraki, you need to stop doing that!” I almost cried, “Can't keep on hurting me like that, if you call yourself the 'boss' around here!" He growled at my outburst but before he could react I pushed him aside, his eyes glinting with surprise, grabbed my clothes and stumbled out of the room.
Ignoring the dull pain in my core and the hot fluids dripping down my legs, I started staggering down the hallway. As I got closer to the stairs, I saw a familiar figure standing at the end of the hallway, resting against the wall. Dabi looked at me with an unmoving expression in his cerulean eyes. I didn't even stop, just pushed past him as I continued my way to the stairs. He followed me and held out his hand, rumbling lowly, a bit abashed “Here, lemme help" as I swayed a bit. But I swapped it away in anger and growled at him "Don't you dare touch me, " as I continued my way up to his room, leaving him standing deserted in the hallway.
I went straight to the bathroom, got undressed and took a shower, washing all the smut off me. I sank to the floor as an uncontrolled flow of tears started mixing with the hot water running down my face.
----------------------------------
Life went on as usual in the headquarters. The League was out a lot, recruiting more, doing some successful quests, that the news later on talked about, as we all watched TV at the lounge bar. Their increased activity had me spare more intimate time with Shigaraki and Dabi. It was a much-needed break, giving me the possibility to cope with my new life, trying to figure out how I could fit into it. As for Dabi, I distanced myself from him, avoiding him whenever possible. I needed time, thinking about his obscurr attitude towards me in the past. So whenever he entered the lounge, I usually sat down at Shigaraki’s side or scooted off to the furthest corner. When we met in the hallway, I avoided eye contact, looking straight ahead and just passed by.
Dabi became increasingly on edge by my behavior. He didn't know how to cope with my anger. His irritation showed in his increased aggressiveness, repeatedly snapping at the other members. Everyone started being on edge with him, even more than they used to do. Toga kept complaining to me about his erratic behavior and repeated outbursts. Not as if that was anything unusual, but it had become more frequent. Even though I tried avoiding him, he somehow managed to be a constant presence in my periphery. He hung around to just watch me, reclining back in his chair looking half-asleep and completely disinterested, but I could see how he was constantly shooting me glances. During meetings in the lounge, he leaned against the wall, arms crossed in front of his chest and kept watching me with those unmoving ice blue eyes.
Despite those troubling circumstances, I started to get accustomed to the rest of the members. I grew really fond of Spinner and Twice, even Kurogiri became sort of a father figure for me with his constant concern over us. Toga was still an annoying crazy little brat who never missed a chance to draw blood from me, but I started thinking of her as the younger sister I never had. Whenever she kept asking for cuddles I couldn't help but give in to her, wrapping my arms around her, while she gave me an almost bruising hug back, snuggling into me and calling me her “Big Sis.”
Shigaraki - he turned out to be a handful. After I had lost my temper with him that one night, he seemed a bit apprehensive around me. He started fiddling with his fingers and phone when I was close, shooting me nervous glances. He kept looking at me with his burning red eyes, intrigued, curious as to what I was doing. Whenever there was a meeting or we just sat at the bbar he demanded me to be next to him. He snickered when he saw me snapping at Dabi. Whenever I huddled over to the other members, conversing and laughing with them, he kept eyeing me with interest.
Dabi on the other hand grew more agitated the closer Shigaraki kept me by his side, disagreeing during meetings, ignoring certain commands, just being more of his usual asshole-self towards him. And that didn't go unnoticed by Shigaraki, as he kept getting more aggrivated by his behavior.
It was one of those days they had been out again for recruitment and after they returned through the portals back into the lounge, Shigaraki turned towards me.
“Sit with me,” he rasped dryly as usual and slumped down at the bar. I reluctantly joined him, noticing that he seemed pretty agitated.
On the other side of the bar, Dabis had slouched down on a stool, whiskey in his hand, half-lidded eyes staking nonchalantly at me. Toga pranced over, leaning into me, purring and letting me stroke her hair. Even though no one said anything, there was an unspoken tension in the air. I looked at Shigaraki from the side, trying to figure out what was going on.
“What are you staring at,” he scowled irritably.
“Just seeing what mood you're in.” I shrugged.
He didn't react, as his eyes went up to Kurogishi to order us a drink. As the evening continued, we drank in silence but I couldn't shrug off the feeling that something was off between him and Dabi. They had not spoken a word since they came back. I was a bit tipsy, as Kurogiri kept placing drinks in front of me on behalf of Shigaraki. The tension-filled air, the weird vibes between the members made me feel uncomfortable and a heavy weight started suffocating me. Unexpectedly, all the stress and frustration, all the hurt and heartache of those last weeks, months of living in this place, came crashing down on me. It had been too much, too much of everything. Tears started glistening in my eyes as I felt every nerve in my body vibrate with feverish exhilaration, like strings singing with tension, ready to snap any moment. And that moment came sooner than I expected.
As Mr. Compress, a new member, approached Shigaraki, calling him “boss”, that certain something snapped inside me. The way Shigaraki had been handling me in his room was beyond “boss”-behavior and had left a sour taste in my mouth. I was barely able to suppress a giggle pressing itself up my throat. Shigaraki shot me an annoyed glance and Dabi cocked his head, honest concern starting to mix in with his usual bored expression. As they kept continuing the conversation, I couldn't control myself anymore and kept giggling every time I heard that specific word, a laughing fit slowly but surely starting to build up inside of me. Shigaraki grew increasingly annoyed by my behavior, his body started to tense, his idle hand curved into a fist and his leg nervously bouncing up and down. Once in a while his hand shot up so scratch his neck, until I could see small red patches. At one point I totally lost it, snorting, choking on my drink, not being able to suppress the frantic giggles creeping up, tears threatening to roll down my cheeks.
There was a wet splattering sound and I looked up to see Shigaraki, who clutched the remnants of his glass with all five of his fingers. What was left of it kept disappearing, turning into dust and the whiskey inside had splashed all over the counter. All heads jerked up as the scene unraveled before them.
He was shaking, face hidden behind his white messy hair as his lips parted and he breathed out in a low scratch, warning tone “Do you have a problem?"
I swallowed down my giggles, still nervous. I realized I had crossed a line and there was no way out for me.
His red crimson eyes shot up at me, his voice now trembling with rage, "I asked, if you have a problem!”
I fumbled with my fingers, which started to get sweaty and sticky. "I- I’m sorry… boss” and my body started shaking again with laughter, too exhausted from the last weeks straining experiences to care.
Shigaraki slowly slid off his stool and I watched him approach in horror, still sobbing with frantic uncontrollable giggles. So fast I couldn't even react, his hand shot up and wrapped around my throat, pinkie hovering dangerously close to my skin. He leaned forward into my face, red eyes burning into mine. I could smell his breath, induced with alcohol as he rasped out "I think I need to fuck those giggles out of you and show you who the boss is. Don't you think, little Spoils?" And with that he pulled me off the stool, my hands cutching his wrist, that was still grabbing my throat. I kept apologizing, pleading with him to let me go as suddenly a low growl emenated through the room "Stop touching her."
Shigaraki stopped dead in his tracks, still clutching my throat. Silence spread through the room like before an upcoming storm, and it had the hair at the back of my neck stand on end. Kurogiri nonchalantly turned off the TV and moved closer, ready to step in if necessary.
“Get your fucking hands off her,” Dabi growled again more viciously from where he slid off the stool at the bar, “She's not going anywhere.”
Shigaraki turned around slowly, staring at Dabi. "Oh, is that so?” I was stunned by Dabi's behavior as I tried to loosen Shigaraki's grip on my throat and was finally released. I gasped for air, trying to catch my breath, stumbling a few feet away.
“Are you gonna fight me?” Shigaraki rasped dryly, turning his attention towards Dabi, who hissed back, teeth exposed in a vicious smile. “I might, jackass."
"Over some spoils?" Shigaraki raised an eyebrow.
Dabi looked at him and I could see all the rage and frustration that built up over me, bubbling just beneath the surface for the last weeks, erupting at that moment. He let out a low rumbling sound, eyes burning with anger now, "She's no spoils, she’s my girl."
Shigaraki seemed to weigh up something, tilting his head. My heart was pounding out of my chest now, I had never seen Shigaraki this eerily calm before. His eyes moved between Dabi and me, his voice raspy and cold when he finally spoke, sending shivers up my spine. "Oh- I understand... You've been fucking her," he snarled and then it all happened very fast. A blur of movement, Shigaraki jumped towards Dabi with one swift move, hand stretched out, ready to strike. Dabi simultaniously shot his arm up, blue flames ready to shoot out of his palm, the smell of kindling suddenly suffocatingly strong. They were on a collision course and someone was about to die. Kurogiri was ready to step in but before he could I heard myself cry out “Stop!" Both villains froze, standing right across from each other, red orbs gleaming viciously at cold cerulean eyes - and that's when I realized what I had to do.
I moved before I thought, wound myself in between those outstretched arms, careful not to touch either of them. I winced at the heat of Dabi’s flames only inches away from me, Shigaraki's hand almost touching my face. Every muscle tense, I stared into Shigaraki's gleaming eyes and watched his hand tremble. The entire room held their breath as the other members watched the scene in front of them unravel.
"Shigaraki," my voice shaking, “please stop," His eyes narrowed and glared at me between tufts of pale hair.
"Why should I, Spoils?" he sneered coldly.
“Because there is no need to fight. I will go with you.” I said resolutely.
I heard Dabi hissing a growl behind me, blue flames pulsating and gushing with each of his heavy breaths.
Shigaraki stood unmoving, his eyes taking me in, visibly contemplating. Then his lips curled up and he let out a scratchy snicker, looking up at Dabi. "Ok, but I am only doing this to teach that sorry ass of a patchface over there a lesson - for having fucked you," he grinned wide.
"No," Dabi growled at me, desperation weaved into his voice. His eyes shot at his boss behind me and back to me. I turned around towards blue flickering lights licking at me, determination in my voice, leaving no place for arguments “Dabi, I am going with him."
His eyes froze at those words. For a split second, I could see his facade sway, turmoil flickering in his mesmerizing eyes, but he composed himself again, same cold expression on his face again.
"You're faking… " he snarled, staring at me.
Not saying a word, I stepped backward until I was leaning against Shigarakis body, feeling his hot breath against my ear, his chest rise and fall with each tensed breath. Red bloodshed eyes bore into cerulean ones as Shigaraki stared at him from behind my back, arm still outstretched. Dabi gritted his teeth as Shigaraki’s chapped lips stretched into a wide, eerie smile. He placed his free hand around my throat, pinkie raised as he tilted my head to the side and licked slowly along my pulse, never averting his eyes from Dabi. Agonizing seconds passed as he stared at Shigaraki, then at me. I was frozen, pinned in place by the heavy judgment written in his face. But then he backed down, blue flames dying as he lowered his hand, averting his eyes with a scowl. The gesture was small but there was an acknowledgment of defeat.
Shigaraki's lips curled up in a mock grin.
“Let’s go have some fun then,” he rasped lowly into my ear and pulled us towards the hallway.
Dabi watched us leave, a strained expression on his face. As soon as we were gone, he let out a feral scream, kicking chairs and tables out of his way. His hands started smoking, an eerie blue light dancing in his palms as he stared at the other villains with hurt anger, turned on his heel and stormed towards the exit. He crashed his boot against it and it flung open, hinges aching under the brute force. The last thing to see were the ragged edges of his coat as he disappeared into the dark of the night.

Part 1
Shigaraki
Definitely jealous
He’s the clingy brat, so just imagine getting a s/o while he’s around
He’s gonna make it real clear that you’re not their lover, you’re just their really good friend
^ He tells himself that
Dude’s even more protective of you
He’s clingy in the same way a kid is
^ Imagine having a 4 or 5 year old kid that got at least most of your attention with your new lover
\Yeah, that’s the type of pain in the ass he is
Wouldn’t be surprised if he just picks you up and walks away from them
It’s more of like a game for him than anything, because now his goal is really just to piss them off
^ Or get all your affection, either one
^ Probably both actually
He’s a little spoiled brat so don’t expect him to share, that’s basically the only thing you really need to know
Death threats, arguments, fighting, you name it, it’s all going to happen sooner or later
Dabi
He’s not too bad actually
Just expect a lot more teasing from him
^ You might get hit on once or twice too
Very few negative interactions with your lover for an extremely long time
That doesn’t mean they’re positive though, it’s usually really awkward conversation
But for the most part, he’s fine with it
As long as he still gets a drink with you every once in a while, he’s perfectly fine
Probably runs off with them at least once to burn down the nearest GameStop to piss off Shig
^ That’s his way to bond with them at this point
Your room might as well be his now too
^ He’s either in there with you, your lover, or snooping around
He will still hog you to himself after a mission to treat any new wounds or burns, that’s never gonna change
^ Your lover’s just gonna have to learn to deal with it
Probably starts arguing with them more when he actually notices he has less time with you, but not nearly as extreme as Shigaraki is
Magne
Probably one of the first ones to try and befriend them
She doesn’t have an opinion on them really, if you ask she’ll say they’re alright and that’s it
They get along enough to share your time at least
She keeps to herself around them for a long time, really only getting in their business if it involves something negative about you
Eventually she at least gets to the point with them where she’ll willingly start long conversations with them
Every once in a while if Toga has extra face masks or whatever kind of skincare routine you guys are doing, she’ll ask them if they want to join
She supports it but she could care less if they were there or not, I’ll be honest
^ As long as they make you happy, she’s fine with it though
All in all, she’s pretty neutral
Toga
She’s pretty excited actually
Just a new person to spice up her day as far as she’s concerned
Definitely the friendliest out of everyone, except Kurogiri
She likes showing off her knives to them and how her quirk works
They’ve played a few games together, not very many, but enough that they know how the other plays
She’s the most supportive of your relationship
^ Every day there seems to be a new rant about how cute you guys are attached to your door
She’s not jealous at all really, it’s very rare that she’ll get jealous
^ It’s rare, but if her day’s already been bad and she can’t spend time with you or vent, she’ll probably threaten to rip out their spine
Always offers to help them whenever they’re doing anything
Sometimes she goes on walks with you two, and Magne if she’s up for it
She’s tried to give you guys a ship name before, but she couldn’t decide on one
Spinner
He could care less
Just don’t be too loud when he’s trying to relax, and he’s ok
^ Then again, Toga’s already loud, and Shigaraki’s tantrums don’t help, so he probably wouldn’t notice after all
He does his best to stay away from them because he’s nervous
^ And scared they’ll judge him
If you really want them to meet each other, then you’ve gotta be the one to introduce them
He’s not really talkative, so if you’re trying to get them to bond, have them ask each other yes or no questions
^ Or card games
Probably interacts with you less because they’re seemingly always there whenever he wants to tell you something
Kurogiri
He’s a little annoyed at first because they just made dealing with Shigaraki a bigger pain
But they make you happy, so he lets it slide
Drinks together are a must
Maybe a smoke too, but he’s not a smoker, so just drinks for him
^ He’ll still go outside with you or your lover just to keep you guys company though
Tries his best to get to know them, but he always comes off as serious and ends up scaring them a bit
He’s probably yelled at them once or twice because they started arguing with Shigaraki
^ Shigaraki’s also tried to get him to throw them out so it’s not all their fault
He’s either found doing chores, calming down Shig, or replacing anything the brat decayed
^ His schedule barely changed honestly
Twice
He needs a bit of encouragement at first, but eventually he’ll talk to them
When he talks, he’s always next to you, and he only talks for a minute or two
^ So just long enough to know their name and age pretty much
When Toga goes up to them, he’ll sometimes follow her
He does try to know them better for your sake, but he’s nervous so he needs the extra encouragement
He likes joining you guys and Kurogiri for drinks and/or smoke breaks
Every once in a while, he’ll help them with something small or ask how you two met
^ He’ll ask how you two met a million times, and yet every time you tell him, he always seems as interested as the first time
Just be patient with him and they’ll eventually get to a point where he’s somewhat comfortable around them
Mr. Compress
He’s annoyed too for a while
He’ll be stubborn with them just so they go away and leave him alone
Tell him something they have a common interest in, and he might talk to them about it
He helps them pick small gifts for you, like snacks
Not the biggest fan of them, but he’ll help them if they ask nicely
Suddenly becomes protective of you
^ If they even say your name, he’s already behind them, just to make sure they weren’t talking shit about you
He doesn’t mind having conversations with them, but the second they say anything even slightly insulting about anyone in the league, they’re getting at least a few bruises
^ He won’t listen to their vents too, he doesn’t care, but he’ll listen to yours
If you complain about them at all, he’ll suggest you break up with them like Shigaraki
He brings you small items like rings or your favorite drink just to annoy them

Crow and Sparrow
inej ghafa x reader
content warning: none
•••
inej has a crush on the bartender at the crow club, and jesper is going to make it his personal goal to poke fun at her every spare moment he gets.
he understands of course. the bartender was stunning, and perhaps even more attractively, didn’t take any shit from rude drunk patrons. they always wore a pistol strapped to their side, and jesper had seen on more than one occasion that you were more than adept at using it when the need arose.
there was a reason they were hired, after all. jesper remembered kaz mention offhandedly once he thought they could be a heartrender with the way they were able to control the atmosphere in the crow club.
jesper was certain half the regulars at the crow club came just to chat with you. it made perfect sense that inej would have a crush on someone as magnetic as you were.
but this was inej! inej the wraith, inej the sneaky! and she had a crush? jesper couldn’t pass up such an easy opportunity to ruffle her feathers. all in good fun, of course.
“inej, did you know every time you look over to the bar your cheeks turn red? are you feeling okay?” jesper all but giggles to himself.
“jesper what are you on about”
“it would be so much less painful if you would just go up and talk to them!”
amusement flickers across kaz’s face as the two bicker back and forth.
“i will end you, jesper fahey!”
kaz decides to intervene.
“inej, go order another round for the table.”
“kaz are you serious?” she pleads. “jesper’s being cruel not you too!”
a slight smirk forms on kaz’s lips. “perfectly serious.”
•••
you can’t help but watch her.
she’s beautiful in the way that her knives are; enchanting and dangerous to be too close to.
kaz’s whole crew were not to be messed with, and you really needed this job, so keeping distance from all of them seemed to be the best solution.
you liked her quiet attentiveness, her fierce protection of her friends. you liked the way she leaned forward when talking about something that excited her. and her eyes, oh her eyes! you felt if you looked at her for too long you would disappear into them.
•••
inej appeared in front of you at the bar, so suddenly that you startle. “inej! gods, you frightened me.”
“i didn’t realize i would startle you so much i’m sorry i-“
you, for the first time, see inej fumble with her words.
“hey, no harm done. what can i get you?”
“just some shots for our table,” inej awkwardly raises three fingers as well for the number of people.
you feel a smile pull at your lips but keep it hidden, not wanting to embarrass her.
“of course, i’ll have them for you in a moment.”
“it’s good to see you, inej,”
the tips of your fingers brush against hers as you hand over the drinks, and you see a blush form on inej’s cheeks.
“um- goodbye,” she darts off abruptly, back to the table at the back of the bar.
you can hear jesper cackling from across the club, followed by a, “shut it!” from inej.
you smile to yourself, turning back to the bar to wipe up some spills along the counter.
you wonder fleetingly if the trio were talking about you, but then the bar is swamped with new patrons and your mind is filled with drink orders and table numbers, and maneuvering around the rowdy drunks seated at the center of the bar.
•••
it takes jesper a few tries to get your attention, not that he wants to distract you while you work, but he felt it was necessary to speed along inej’s love life a tad.
“so i need a favor,”
you quirk an eyebrow, but nod. “and what might this favor be, mr. fahey?”
he leans in conspiratorially, “i need you to ask inej on a date.”
you blink. “i’m sorry what?”
“listen. inej is never going to do it and if i have to watch her pine after you for the next six months i’m going to lose my mind!”
you barely have to think about it. “give me a second.”
you scrounge around under the bar for a notepad, finding one and quickly scribbling out a note. you fold it, not letting jesper see what you had written. “alright, give this to her and don’t peek.”
north docks, midday, tomorrow.

Chapter 7: New lease on life
words: 2335
You weren't headed towards the police station but the building of the Hero public safety commission, so they were liars as well, it was very fitting for them. When they did stop they grabbed you by your arm and harshly pulled you out of the car.
“Wouldn't you normally take me to the police station?” You said
“We would if you weren’t involved with a high stack villain.” The man said, “Also word of advice, start talking right away to avoid the negations.”
“What?” you asked looking very confused as the two of you went into an elevator and he pressed the down button
“I thought you would be smarter than this, weren't you in school to become a surgeon, to think you would throw that all out.” He said, you rolled your eyes, as the elevator dinged and he escorted you down the hall outside a door where someone was waiting and he handed you off to them and left down the hallway, the other guy opened the door and shoved you down on a seat
“Stay still if you make any movements we won't hesitate to take drastic measurements.” He said leaving the room, how classy of them. You waited, and waited and waited some more before someone came in a familiar face.
“Hello again (last name).” The president said
“OH it's you, you know you didn't have to do the whole sending a squat team and escorting me off-campus in the biggest way possible,” you said
“I think you have bigger things to worry about.” she said putting the note down “I think you know what this is.”
Way to be caught between a rock and a hard place.
“What about it?” you asked
“We know this was front eh nighthawk, and the whole thanks for not snitching on me, I found very interested.” She said, “Now we need your cooperation.”
“Why would I do that?” you asked “I don't like you guys very much, so far you have arrested me twice and brought me to some shady underground interrogation room.”
“(name) the Nighthawk isn't someone you want to get mixed up in, we know he killed Akio, now tell me the whole truth.” “You really want to know the real story?” you asked
“Very much so.” She said
“Well okay, there I was trying to get some girl out of being assaulted, and Akio jumps on me and started strangling me, I was going to die, but then what happens, suddenly he is off me and pinned to the wall, this Nighthawk told me to leave and to take the girl,” you said
“So you were lying to us?” she asked
“You guys have exactly proven you are the most sympathetic people.” you said “But I don't know anything about him.”
“Why didn't you report him, or tell the police?”
“Not like they would have taken it seriously.” you said “and then once I left the police station, you go and stalk me and get so many of your employees hurt.” “I too am curious as to why he attacked them, they weren't after him.” She said
“Ask him not me, oh wait you can’t,” you said
“(name) we can have you put in jail for a very long time if you refuse to cooperate.” She said
“I’m calling your bluff, if you wanted me in jail you would have taken me there instead of here, I anti helping you,” you said
“Guess we have to convince you to cooperate another way,” she said getting up and leaving, as two men came in and grabbed you again dragging you off to another lower level and strapped onto a chair.
“Do what you need to get her cooperation.” The president said as another man walked in
“Quirk?” he asked, you stayed quiet “I’ll ask you again, quirk?”
“Why does it matter?” you asked, he raised his hand and placed a stinging slap across your face
“One more time your quirk?” he asked, you didn't answer and he placed another slap across your face, you just spat on his shoe.
“Fine be that way.” he said looking at your file.``He said, “Okay, you have talons, you flex your fingers and sharp knives like talons emerge from under your nails.”
“IF you had my record why the hell are you asking me for it?” you said, as he got out pair of pliers
“This should do it,” he said and you balled your hands in a fist, guess these people here saw you as nothing more than an accomplice to murder.
“Shit shit shit.” Hawks was thinking to himself as he was flying to the HPSC, this wasn’t good as he landed in an alleyway, it was hard to sneak around when you had two giant pairs of redwings on your back. They took you during the day something down there was near impossible, just what exactly were they planning, he knew they had taken you down to the sub-basement, well it was impossible for him to sneak down there without getting caught, he knew of one guy who would be able to get him down there and yoink you out of there in one piece, he didn't like who it was though.
As hawks flew down to a seemingly abandon bar he was confused, he looked at the card that the guy who was covered in mist said saying if he changed his mind come here, Hawks was looking around the location and seemingly nothing, he didn't have time to waste so he banged on the back door if this was some sort of sick joke he wasn't laughing, he was just about to leave when a black portal opened up, guess that was the cue to go in.
“Glad to see you have changed your mind.” He heard and looked towards Kurogiri
“Well not really changed my mind, I am not interested in joining any type of group, I need a favor.” Hawks said
“Forget it.” He heard another voice saw who was at the end of the bar, he never got used to the hands covering his face, didn't it smell.
“Now Tomura this is where negotiations come in.” Kurogiri said, “Still If you are expecting a favor from us without expecting us to ask something of you, I am afraid you are flying too high.”
“Because the lack of oxygen is messing with your brain,” Tomura said
“Hey look here, I am all for repaying favors here.” Hawks said
“Well, we don't need you.” Tomura said, “I already have my ace in the hole for the first plan of attack.” Tomura said “And I have more than enough players for it. You are too late, now piss off.”
“Okay...harsh.” Hawks said, “But think of me as a backup plan.”
“I already have a backup plan.” Tomura said, “Still I suppose having you as a player in the future would be useful, but what exactly is your favor you want from us?”
“Well I kinda got this person mixed up and the HPSC is keeping her in the sub-basement, and I can't sneak in that far.” Hawks said, “Look you hate heros', I hate who they work for.”
“What exactly is your goal here?” Kurogiri asked
“I want to see the HPSC crumble.” Hawks said, “But now it's just personal.”
“Hmm, tell you what bird brain, if I have my Kurogiri teleport you down there and back, you will owe a favor no questions asked, got it.”
“Got it.” Hawks said
“Kurogiri, you know the location of the sub-basement right.” Tomura asked
“That is correct but chances are once my quirk is activated down there it will set off an alarm, you will have to move quickly,” Kurogiri said
“Well, that's what I'm known for.” Hawks said
You were seeing white from pain, your left hand was shaking as blood was dripping out from under your nail, you looked over in pure shock, you saw your left thumb talon laying on the desk, so this was their plan huh, rip your nails out till you agree to work with them. You were just about to pass out with pain when the man slapped you across the face again.
“Wake up, don’t be passing out on me, now you want to have your right one out next, or your left pinky finger?” He asked, “Or we can skip all this and you can just be corporate.”
“If...if you think, for one second I am going to be anything but cooperative with you after you ripped out my talon, you must have something wrong with you,” you said as you were dry heaving
“Okay, pinky finger it is then.” He said, you gritted your teeth as he presses your pinky talon out right before a loud blazing alarm went off
‘CODE RED, CODE RED, INFILTRATOR ON THE SUB-BASEMENT LEVELS’
The man who just ripped your talon off ran out and locked the door and this must of been your lucky day, your hand was shaking front he pains till you heard a loud ‘thunk’ again the door which could only assume to be a body before the door opened and you saw hawks
“There you are-Holy fuck what the hell did they do to you!?” Hawks said looking at your thumb that was dripping blood, you had better days, he was horrified but not surprised as he ran over and tried to undo the straps that were keeping you on the chair “OH screw it I'm taking the chair, hey I kind of need to portal now.”
To your shock, you managed to get out of there and we're in a weird bar, maybe the pain was making you hallucinate, still, as hawks were tugging on the straps Tomura spoke up
“I thought you said it was someone important, not your damn girlfriend.” Tomura said, “Like someone who was actually useful.”
“She is important to me.” Hawks said getting your arms undone then working on the ones around your ankles “And she isn't my girlfriend either.”
“Well, you got her back so now you owe us Hawks.” Tomura said
“I know I know I'm not one to go around breaking my word.” HE said as got out and looked at your hands “Oh those ...can’t believe this.”
“Well whatever you're going to go on a rampage about isn't going to happen here, Kurogiri you can send them away now,” Tomura said as Kurogiri opened a warp gate
“We will call for you when we need it,” Kurogiri said as hawks slung you over his shoulder
“Noted.” Hawks said stepping through and finding it a bit odd that they knew the location of his hideout, not that he stayed in one place for long. You still looked out of it, what happened in there all he knew was that your thumb was bleeding and you were in searing pain, he had some sort of pain medication around here right?
He sat you down on the floor as he was searching around.
“Hawks….what are you doing?” you asked “Who were those guys, and where the hell am i.”
“One question at a time please.” Hawks said handing you a glass of water and some Tylenol
“I'm going to need a strong opioid for this,” you said but taking what you could, you did take the medication.
“(name) what exactly happened down there?” Hawks asked pointing to your left thumb
“Oh that...they wanted my cooperation for something but when I refused, they took out one of my talons,” you said
“....they did what?’ Hawks said trying to remain calm, you just nodded your head
“My left thumb talon, the guy ripped it out, he was going for my pinky one but luckily you came in time.”
“I saw some guy leave the room you were in and I thought him against the door, didn't know he did well...that. He said pointing to your thumb
“I’ll be okay, I just need some bandages.” you said “But where the hell am I?”
“Well at my place.” Hawks said, “I don't usually hang around one palace for long so it's a little under furnished, I'll go try to find some bandages.” Hawks said as you nodded your head using your shirt to put pressure on your injury. Hawks came out with some gazes and you took them from him. “You want some help?” He asked
“I know how to wrap up wounded better than you.” you said “Don't take that offensively but the number of scars on your arms shows that you don't exactly know how to treat a wound.”
“Haha well, you're not wrong.” Hawks said, “So what are you going to do now?”
“What do you mean, according to them I'm an accomplice to murder, of one of the most dangerous villains in japan, got broken out by a said villain, I can’t just go back to school after this.”
“That's kind of what I'm referring to, you don't know anyone in the underground that you can just crash with-”
“Ahem.” you said staring him down “Sorry buddy but as of now you are kind of stuck with me.”
“Ohhh I see, that makes the most sense, and since this is my fault, okay I'll take you under my wing.”
“Stop with the bird puns.” You said “Look I'm not exactly the most athletic type, but I am smarter than most, so tell you what, you keep me from the HPSC, I'll be your medic.” you said
“Well that sounds like a sweet deal, you would be valuable there aren't a lot of medics in my line of work.” Hawks said doing air quotes around the word work.
“So look you keep me from getting arrested and provide me with basic food and shelter, 'll help in what way I can in your goal, along with being your medic, do we have a deal?” you said sticking out your right hand
“Sounds like a deal.” Hawks said shaking your hand, this was the start of your new life.

Fly like a spy, alternate ending? Part 2!
She later woke up freed from her restraints in a glass case with small holes in the roof of the cage. The cage was on a counter in a sterilized looking lab room full of tubes, large containers, and other scientific equipment. what was going to happen to her?
the others at the spy organization were desperately trying to find your location or contacts you. The closest they got to achieving that goal was some heavy static on Roses end and some very choppy words. Something along the lines of “lab” and “small”. Mammon was questioned and lectured by Lucifer for leaving behind a manner of the team. Even all the others except for Levi didn’t believe his story on how Rose was somehow the size of a doll in the middle of a mission. It wasn’t until Levi was able to get some of the security footage from the roof that they were able to get any lead of what happened to her and where they might be taking her too. They start to get equipment and plans, hoping to save the poor new recruit.
Rose had tried her ear com a few times but where ever she was didn’t have good enough reception to work and her shrunken state made the device react strangely to any touch.
Being in a lab setting again reminded her of a chemical based incident from her recent past. She wanted out. and she wanted it now. So she went through the basic vital tests and checks that the scientists put her through. As Rose was eating as a few pieces of torn up sandwich the door opened and in walked Diavolo and Barbatos. The other scientists were asked to leave and Barbatos picked up a data pad. His eye brows quirked at the interesting statistics.
Rose C. Wilson: age, 22. current weight, 10 lbs. bpm, 200.
Notes: unable to draw blood, needles bent, knives were dulled, bullets only left a bruise, able to hold breath for 5 minutes comfortably.
As Barbatos read out the notes to Diavolo he chuckled. “seems like our interrogation will have to change due to the durability of our little prisoner.” He said looking down at Rose. “make this easy on yourself and tell us where your friends are located. With our previous project’s data stolen, we had to shut it down. Diavolo believes that joining your spy group would be rather interesting.”
“I’ll never betray my friends!” rose said angerly. How could they just talk to her like some child! she may be small but she was a matured adult! “Besides if you have looked into my previous files you’ll know that I’m quite stubborn when I make up my mind.” she said as she crossed her arms and glared up at him.
“Well then we will just have to find a way to scare you.” Diavolo interjected.
“Scare me? I have been shut, cut, and shrunken in the past 24 hours. What do you think could scare me?” She laughed. “If you could really find what does scare me then possibly I’ll tell you. I highly doubt you’ll find any results though.” she added leaning against the glass cage wall. The other two walked away and started to pull up some files back on the computer.
Rose wasn’t scared of much, she was a logical person so some emotions like fear never really moved her to do anything drastic before. Of course there was natural fear for survival, but everyone has that. She was immune to almost any form of danger in this current state and until they could reverse the effects.
She had one fear. A bad memory from her past job as a scientists assistant. Some sick prank pulled by the other scientists on her caused something to explode. A bile sac with an acid level of 1 in a containment center was handed to her for analysis. But a small fire cracker was placed next to it. In the small explosion the sac ruptured and she was covered in the incredibly strong acid. She quit the next day as she was hospitalized due to the chemical burns on her arms, legs, and chest. The small fear of facing those acids, facing that horrible environment they were created in, still haunted her subconscious mind.
Unfortunately they were crafty in their ways of getting her to talk. they had her take some personality quizzes and gave her a small phone to type on like a large computer. As they left for the day she was somewhat able to get a message through to the others. Levi was able to track where she was but it was a days travel away. She turned off the phone and mumbled to herself. she paced back and forth in her enclosure. Talking about the situation and how unfortunate it was but what can she do. As long as they didn’t figure out her fear of acidic environments she would be fine. She should have known that they chipped the phone. To listen and use her nervous tics against her.
The next day Diavolo and Barbatos walked in with confidence in each step. Barbatos carried a small tray of a few small items; a pill, a cup of water, and a few small clear tools wrapped in plastic bags. Barbatos walked up to Rose and scooped her out of he enclosure as Diavolo did something with the items on the other side of the room. “I’m so glad you fell right for that little trap of ours.” Barbatos explained. Roses stomach sank. “I was surprised you gave away so much so soon, but you were able to contact the others we will just track them back once they come to rescue you. this has been fun and Diavolo was ecstatic to try out a little plan he had when he listened to the recording. You’ll be fine, he’s just so excited to try a smuggling technique he’s heard about before. Of course it will also give you a little scare too.” He pulled out a small bottle of olive oil and poured it on her when he set her down on a plate. she realized what was going to happen as Diavolo turned around with a new spark to his eyes, excitement and hunger.
she struggled against the restraints around her wrists and ankles as he came closer smiling brightly. “I’ve always wanted to try a live meal. I hear the live octopus that some eat is quite the experience, but with something like this with so many benefits we get to try so many new ideas! Being one of science you agree no?” he asked as he gently grabbed the ropes around her wrists. “And don’t worry there’s a breathing capsule in there too so you can have air for a bit. I don’t plan to hold onto you for long.” Rose was struggling desperately, eyes widening in fear. He cant be serious this was just to scare her. It had to be.
But whatever dream she was stuck in had turned to a nightmare as he lifted her above his face and started to lower into his open mouth. his hand was wrapped under her armpits as he closed his lips around her legs. She wiggled and tried her best to scoot out of his mouth but he was determined to taste her and keep her still. She screamed as he lightly swallowed around her feet. now she was really scared. Trying everything she could to get away, any and all logical thinking leaving her. He continued to push her wiggling form into his mouth and gently swallowing. He had to move quickly due to the pressure of holding his breath and the pressure of the struggling form now entering his esophagus. All that was left out of his mouth was her head and she was starting to beg for help for them to stop. she even gave away the position of the base as he swallowed again. She screamed again as his lips closed behind her head in his mouth. With one final strong swallow she was pushed and pulled into the vice presidents gullet. he held a hand to his throat to feel her slow descent until her form passed his collarbone. He let out a satisfied breath as her upper body joined her legs in his stomach.
Just outside the lab room Lucifer, Mammon and Levi had just taken out some guards and were currently trying to open the door as they heard Roses frightened cries from within. Mammon as pacing as Levi had to break through multiple firewalls to unlock the door.
Rose was in hell. The claustrophobic walls moving to hug against her form, the warm slimy goo seeping from the walls that were smothering her and the sounds all sending her past frightened to terrified. She screamed incoherently and sobbed as she struggled, kicked, and clawed at the walls around her. The small belch Diavolo let out as he patted his stomach didn’t help her delirious mind either. She could feel him talking but she was to focused on escape to do try and understand the deep vibrations. Suddenly the ropes around her hands snapped from her struggling and the acids getting to work. She felt a small plastic bag bump against her arm as she started to gasp a bit for air. she tore open the bag and grabbed the oxygen mask. Taking a few deep breaths as she slowed her movements. Now that she had the oxygen and a moment to herself, she remembered that she was safe, no burning or even tingling was felt, only sliminess like that of a slugs. It was humid and hot in the area but she could breathe in the warm oxygen in the mask. And the walls were velvety under the slime as they messaged and cradled her form. As awful as this was she was OK. And with that she only had to wait out this distressing situation then she would be let go.
The door opened and both parties froze. Mammon and Lucifer looking at Diavolo and Barbatos. The only sound that pernitrates the tense moment was the hum of machines and the muffled yells coming from Diavolo's middle. Mammon instantly looked both sick and horrified and mad at the same time. Lucifer was confused but went onto the defensive as Barbatos launched forward to attack the trespassers. Mammon ran after Diavolo as he headed toward a back door. Their mission was to save Rose, and he hated that he knew where she was. Mammon tackled Diavolo into the hallway and the door closed behind them. they wrestled and poor rose was thrown around and constricted in the active space, causing her to squirm and scramble for any stability.
Mammon was yelling and so was Diavolo. Suddenly she was squished much harder than before causing her to cry out. Mammon had landed a good kick to Diavolo's middle causing him to hunch over and start heaving. Rose was shoved up his throat and fell out of his mouth with a disgusting splat in a puddle of bile. she looked and felt pathetic as she looked up at mammon who looked like he might pass out. She took another breath from the mask to calm herself then tore it off and yelled at mammon.
“We need to get out of here now! grab the gun in the lab room and please try to undo this.” she said trying to sound like her regular self, but her voice cracked from her screaming and she was shaking from the temperature change and the adrenaline wearing off. Mammon grimaced at her sorry state, put on his black gloves, and gently scooped her off of the floor. he opened the door to find Lucifer and Levi securing Barbatos to a chair with some extra cords, he struggled against them but looked tired and defeated. Mammon set Rose in the sink and ran some lukewarm water to help get the acidic goo off of her. He grabbed some paper towels and set them next to her as he grabbed the gun. Levi followed him and stood wide eyes at rose who had just finished cleaning herself off.
“R-r-Rose?” He asked.
“ya. ya I know I’m small just please hack into that gun mammon has and undo this please. I want nothing more right now than to take a nap.” she said leaning against the side of the sink and drying herself off. She was truly exhausted by now and wanted nothing more than to move past this and fall asleep in her bed at home.
“How did this happen?” Lucifer asked, now seeing Roses poor condition.
she vaguely motioned toward the counter to her right. “There's data on everything on that tablet you can read about my misfortune later.” She said resting her head on her hands as she closed her eyes with a sigh. Levi was easily able to figure out the ray and mammon moved her onto the floor. This time a purple ray shot at her and struck her in the chest. She stumbled back and blacked out instantly. She woke up a few seconds later to see the others looking down at her. She sat up and was relieved to be back to normal. Diavolo watched from the hallway with a sad smile. maybe a different ay he will reach out to the spy organization to join but for now he truly did feel a bit bad about how sickly and tired Rose now looked as the others guided her out.
Maybe another day he will be able to say he’s sorry for what he put her through. For now he will watch form the side lines and come back at a better time.

What are your favorite hero names?
oh man there are so many. I had to limit myself to a top twenty, and even that was rough. anyway so first off, a few runner ups because I couldn’t go without mentioning these:
Vlad King - to be clear, this isn’t actually one of my top hero names. but I’m mentioning it here because back when I was first reading the series, one of the fan scanlations -- either Fallen Angels or Mangastream, I forget which -- had originally translated his hero name as Brad King. which, to be frank, would have been one of the greatest hero names of ALL TIME. you can’t imagine my disappointment when I finally learned the truth. it still haunts me to this day.
Jack Mantis - this is Kamakiri (a.k.a. the guy from class 1-B who can grow knives out of his body)’s hero name. my question is, why the Jack. the mantis part, I get! that’s fairly obvious! but the “Jack” is forever a mystery to me. it just adds this little layer of intrigue.
Mr. Brave - this guy is one of the few good things to come from the Basement arc. don’t get me wrong, he is completely useless. but his name? absolutely legendary. this guy, with his power of ripping his own hair out and turning it into a sword (yes that’s his quirk), an ability that could be easily duplicated or bested by literally any jackass who just went out and bought their own damn sword, really thought to himself, “I am going to be the BEST MCFUCKING HERO THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN. I AM GOING TO NAME MYSELF... MISTER BRAVE.” and they let him, you guys. they let him.
anyway so now for the top twenty!
20. Can’t Stop Twinkling - this isn’t a name so much as it is poetry in three words. I still cannot believe that Aoyama went up to Midnight with a hero name that sounds more like the world’s greatest Dear Abby letter, and she actually let him keep it. I’m not 100% clear on how this all works, but I like to think this means that Aoyama’s fellow heroes have an actual legal obligation to call him this in battle. I don’t think we as a fandom and as a people really take enough time out of our lives to stop and be grateful for Aoyama’s existence.
19. Uravity - it’s a pun!! it’s so cute and I love it!! and it’s such a perfect name in that it just instantly sums up and defines her whole brand, bringing to mind both Ochako the person and Zero Gravity the quirk. honestly she is one of only a few kids whose hero name I never space out on. with a lot of the others I usually have to pause for a sec and be like “wait, what was their name again?” but never Ochako.
18. Present Mic - this would make a really great band name honestly. I just like it. I’m pretty sure Horikoshi was going for “present” as in the verb meaning “to perform”, like in “presentation”, but to tell the truth I always pronounce it like “present” as in “gift” or “the present time”, which doesn’t make any sense at all, but IT’S JUST WHAT MY BRAIN DECIDED TO DO. anyway.
17. Tsukuyomi - I know this name has its origins in Japanese mythology, but to be completely honest I’ve always just associated it with Itachi’s infamous genjutsu attack from Naruto. I just think it’s the gothest thing ever and absolutely perfect for Tokoyami lol.
16. All Might - there’s just something about this name that kind of makes me just want to pump my fists and go “YEAH!!” I really like the use of “might” as a noun rather than “mighty” as an adjective like you see in so many classic superhero names. it’s just so much cooler somehow. this name really does conjure up the image of the strongest guy in the universe.
15. Midnight - honestly I’m almost mad that this wound up being a hero name, because it would have made a perfect villain name. it’s dark and mysterious and sexy. it’s no wonder why Midnight chose it lol. anyway so my girl is a bit kinky, nothing wrong with that, and it’s also a perfect name for someone whose quirk puts other people to sleep. it’s just such spot-on branding, I love it.
14. Ingenium - fun fact, I had no idea what this meant when I first came across it because I don’t speak Latin! apparently it means “genius” or “talent.” which is a very good meaning for a hero name! but honestly the real reason I love it so much is because it’s Iida’s tribute to his brother, and I am just such a sucker for that kind of shit. damn you Iida siblings. quit giving me all these feels.
13. Shouto – yes, seriously. I know a lot of people hate this name, and it’s always getting flak for being bland and uncreative. but I honestly think it’s a perfect name for Shouto. firstly because Shouto himself is very much the opposite of flashy in a lot of ways. he’s not particularly animated or attention-seeking; he is a very calm, sort of still-waters-run-deep person, and I think the lack of a snappy brand name fits that personality. I’m even more delighted that it hasn’t remotely curbed his popularity at all (at this point I think the only kid hero with more in-universe fans out there is Momo, and even then it’s probably a close thing), and I think a big part of that is that people are drawn to his unpretentious nature, especially in comparison to a lot of the other heroes out there. but most of all, I like the name because of the simple yet powerful way it serves as a declaration that he is his own person. he’s not his father, and he’s more than just a Todoroki. he is himself; he is Shouto. anyway so yeah, to me this is a fantastic name with so much depth and meaning.
12. Battle Fist - this is Kendou’s hero name AND IT’S PERFECT. like, holy shit. what should we call the girl who goes around punching bad guys around all day with her giant hands. how about BATTLE FIST. there really isn’t much more to say about this one, honestly. its greatness speaks for itself.
11. Vantablack - imagine being such an enormous douchebag that word of your douchey exploits made it all the way over to some guy in Japan who spends 95% of his waking hours writing a manga and has almost no free time. fun fact, although Anish Kapoor is the only one licensed to use the color Vantablack, the name Vantablack is still owned by Surrey NanoSystems (a.k.a. the guys who actually invented it), and so I’m pretty sure they’re the ones who decide whether or not someone else gets to use it. I wonder if Kapoor is pissed about his color being referenced in a popular shounen manga. anyways, all of that speculation aside, it really is the perfect name for someone with Kuroiro’s quirk.
10. Endeavor - look, say what you will about Endeavor the person (although I’m personally a big fan of the way his redemption arc is being done and think he’s a fascinating character, albeit a very flawed one), but there’s no denying that Endeavor is a badass name. but what’s really great about it is how it so perfectly captures the admirable part of Endeavor, the one thing about him that’s actually worth praising. he never gives up. he’s always pushing, striving, struggling forward no matter how hopeless it seems. and that’s a worthy trait, and it says something about him that this is what he chose for his hero name. a name that has nothing to do with fire, nothing to do with his quirk, nothing even to do with his goal of becoming #1. it’s simply a name that means to make an effort; to try and achieve something. and I like that.
9. Sugarman - this IMO is easily the most overlooked and severely underrated hero name in the series. it’s a hidden gem. everyone always forgets about Satou just because his power of being a Strong Punching Guy doesn’t particularly stand out in a manga chock full of strong punching guys. but he is a badass and a great character, and honestly “eating candy makes me super strong” is possibly the single greatest quirk in the history of time and I am jealous. anyway, so this is a really straightforward name, but it’s really smooth and catchy somehow and so it’s one of my favorites.
8. Gale Force - this is Inasa’s hero name! it’s another one which is criminally underrated, much like Inasa himself. airbender powers are just so badass you guys. wind is so badass. this name is all hurricaney and tempesty and super cool and powerful-sounding. this is one of those names that I’m honestly surprised wasn’t already a mainstream superhero name. Marvel was all “nah, we’ll just go with ‘Storm’”, like come on you guys where is the creativity.
7. Red Riot - this name is a fucking grand slam. it’s alliterative! it’s catchy! it’s got the word “riot” in it! it’s an absolutely perfect name for a passionate guy whose quirk lends itself towards good old fashioned brawlin’ and head bashing. the fact that it’s got additional meaning as a tribute towards Kiri’s own personal hero is just the icing on the cake. this is another name that Marvel probably legit wishes they had thought of first. it’s easily the best hero name out of everyone in class 1-A imo.
6. Sir Nighteye - hilariously for the longest time it was not confirmed whether or not Nighteye actually had a real name (he does! but I’ve forgotten it lol), and so there was this lingering question, absurd as it was, of whether or not Nighteye’s parents, whoever they are, were descendants of some proud Nighteye clan, and whether they had really, actually named their child “Sir.” anyways though, I love this name. it’s super cool and mysterious and perfect for someone with future-seeing powers, and the “Sir” just makes even awesomer because it implies that the Queen really liked him or something.
5. Mt. Lady - this name is a stroke of genius. supersize-me powers are a dime a dozen, but the characters always have names like Giant Man or Giganta or Goliath. as far as I know, no other superhero characters have ever thought to name themselves after mountains, let alone to name themselves as if they WERE a mountain. like, she isn’t “mountain lady”; she’s “MOUNT Lady”, as if she were an actual tectonic peak. it really bothers me that I can’t adequately describe in words why I love this so much. I just do!! I think she should get an award.
4. Suneater - Tamaki is out here proving to everyone that your hero name doesn’t need to have jack shit fuckall to do with your actual quirk in order to be completely badass and iconic. sometimes I wonder what Tamaki does when people ask him “out of curiosity, why did you pick that name?”, which someone surely must have done at some point. he probably turns beet red and tries to dissolve into the background. but anyway, the general public does not need to know the meaning of his hero name in order for it to have meaning; we know what the meaning is, and that it’s his way of saying “I believe in myself because my friend believes in me”, and honestly that’s all that matters. I am still of the opinion that certain other people whose childhood friends held a lot of unwavering belief in and admiration towards them could do worse than going down this same hero name route, but we will see! anyways Suneater deserves all your respect.
3. Best Jeanist - I had so much love for this name from the start, and then I found out it was a real, actual award. for people who make good jeans, or are good at wearing jeans, or something. it’s run by the Japan Jeans Council, which is also a real and actual thing. but anyway, despite it not being as wholly original of a name as I thought, it’s still iconic, and I love that he went with something that was recognizable while still fitting his quirk, and which has the added implication that he is the motherfucking best, because he is. also, given that he probably chose this name while he was still in school, and that only public figures generally seem to be eligible for the award, this implies that he chose the name Best Jeanist first, and then went on to win the actual award eight years running. presumably because the JJC got very flustered and were all, “IT’S LITERALLY HIS NAME... WE HAVE TO GIVE IT TO HIM... WE HAVE TO”, and so they did. anyway so that was a goddamn power move on his part.
2. Gang Orca - first of all, if you are an orca man, then naming yourself after orcas is a pretty apt thing to do and I have to respect that. but then along comes the “gang” part, out of absolutely NOWHERE, and it absolutely SMASHES. like, this name comes up to you and it slaps you in the face. GANG ORCA. HE’S A BIG AGGRESSIVE DOLPHIN MAN AND HE’S NOT HERE TO FUCK AROUND. IS HE ACTUALLY IN A GANG?? WE DON’T KNOW. BUT HERE HE IS, READY TO YEET YOUR DELINQUENTS AND HUNT YOUR MOTHERFUCKING SEALS. this name fucks so hard it came within inches of the number one spot. he is a ruffian and a champ.
1. Eraserhead - last but not least, the guy who DIDN’T EVEN PICK HIS OWN NAME. his best friend had to do it for him, and out of love, came up with the SINGLE BEST HERO ALIAS IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND. first of all, this name sounds like a very funky and electronicy Thom Yorke song. second, it conjures up the image of a man with a big no. 2 pencil head, which could not possibly be further from the truth. it’s just so whiplashy in the best way possible. third, the very existence of this name is seriously a goddamn miracle. he could have been “Power-Stopping Man.” or “Sleeping Bag Man.” or “Scruffy Hero: Tired Man.” or just “Shouta”, but unlike Shouto there wouldn’t have been any actual meaning to it; it would have simply been a case of him not giving the slightest of fucks about coming up with a real name. but rather than any of these, thanks to the power of friendship we were blessed with the greatest hero name in recorded memory. this is one of the few kindnesses fate has ever bestowed upon Aizawa Shouta in his tragic, exhausting life, and I for one am eternally grateful.
anyway so that’s my list! sorry if I left out anyone’s favorites! but I think all of these are deserving of love. also if you want to see the single best thing Japan has ever come up with, please go visit best-jeans.com. they even have an instagram lulz.

Comment: Thank you all for reading this series, I have two different endings I’ll be posting after this chapter. One will be for Bakugou, One for Midoriya. I’ve enjoyed writing this and I am so happy that so many like it.
Once again you matter and any issues you have are valid!
--------------------------------------
You remember once, when you were little, watching a hero on TV save the day. What hero it was didn’t matter to you at the time. All you saw was this person risk their life to save someone else. You watched the emotions that passed over the citizens face, the relief and security they found after being rescued. You remember thinking that you wanted to save people. You wanted to be someone’s reason for feeling safe, a stable beacon of hope and strength. Oh, how foolish you were. Really a child with dreams too big for her bleak future.
A little girl with a quirk better suited for someone with confidence, for someone who truly believed they could save the world. You remember the excitement when it manifested. You ran around telling everyone you were gonna be a hero. There was no idol for you, you didn’t need to be like All Might. You just wanted to help people and with this quirk you were gonna do it. Other kids wanted to be hero’s for fame or power but you didn’t need any of that. You just wanted to make a difference in someone’s life. As you grew the dream was the same but the reason started to change. You wanted to make a difference in your own life, you wanted self-worth and thought being a hero could give you it. Selfish, that is what you thought you had become. How could you have gotten so lost? It wasn’t that you didn’t want to save people you just wanted someone to save you.
As you grew up each year brought on more and more emotional issues. You were convinced that you had brain damage or were dying of some brain eating bacteria. You weren’t completely wrong, you had issues, mental issues.  The first time you had gone to therapy you were six. You stopped getting along with other kids, stopped playing with toys, stopped being a child. Your family was worried, what could have happened that you lost all desire for life. A little kid not wanting to be a little kid was a strange concept. After therapy and some medication, you were back to being a child, running around and playing hero. You were ten when you watched the people around you go about their days like you didn’t exist. You found out the hard way that the world doesn’t stop when you are depressed. Still a child you had to realize that if you were gone the people around you would go on and eventually forget about you. You couldn’t understand this feeling of anxiety. You tried harder and harder to be noticed in the hopes that if you did disappear or die people wouldn’t be able to forget you. This plan back fired. Your family members, friends, and teachers started getting irritated with you. Your parents yelled at you to behave, your teachers scolded you about being loud, and your friends pushed you away not liking this version of you. Eventually you were secluded, an outcast. You were afraid of being alone so you cried. Crying became a norm for you. You did it in public until the judgement started. People didn’t feel bad anymore, instead they claimed manipulation just like Uraraka had. Crying eventually became a taboo thing you did behind closed doors. You learned how to sob silently, how to scream without being heard. That ten-year-old girl was aware of how painful life was and yet you hadn’t even felt true pain yet.
As you aged beyond ten the headaches started, the voices told you horrible things, your smile had faded out of existence, and you constantly felt like you couldn’t breathe. Your therapy was pointless because no one knew why you were like this. It was trial and error. You’d be fine one minute and then you would have scratches up your arms and hollowed out eyes. You’d look like you hadn’t slept for weeks which was true. You couldn’t sleep because your thoughts were worse at night. When you tried napping during the day you were called lazy, told that you were slacking. How could you be a hero if you slept instead of trained and studied. Your parents meant well when they pushed you toward your goal. They just didn’t know the real you. The you behind chipping paint. You felt like an abandoned building left for the earth to take back. Your words were vines burying walls of concrete. The worse things got, the more you painted portraits and placed them in front of you. People admired your work, telling you how happy you looked, how hard you were trying. You were a success story but what was success when you were miserable and a step away from falling into a pit of despair.
One day things changed and for the first time in a long time you felt normal. You felt excited and happy, you looked forward to waking up. What happened to change you? You were accepted into UA. You had tried harder than you thought possible. Tears, blood, sweat, and a lot of profanity was released from your body on your journey to be a hero. All Might telling you in a holograph that you were good enough made you feel like maybe you were. You hadn’t smiled in a school photo until the day you received your school ID. There you were with a toothy grin staring directly at the camera as if to say ‘I did it’. That should have been the moment your life took a turn for the better. You should have been on an escalator going up and you were for the first year. Even after the attack on USJ, after the training camp kidnapping, after everything with overhaul you still fought with no doubts. You smiled even when you cried with your classmates. You had participated and enjoyed their company. Things had gone so smoothly for a while.  However, mental health issues don’t magically go away. One day feeling mentally exhausted turned to two days feeling useless and massive fatigue turned to ten days of sharp chest pain, uncontrolled emotional breakdowns, and drowning in self-loathing. That most fucked up part was you were dealing with it all alone. You couldn’t tell your parents what was happening. What would they say? They would think you were pathetic, not cut out to be a hero. But were they wrong? Did someone who constantly wished negative things on themselves have the right to be here. You found that you questioned yourself over everything. You wondered why you even tried if you were a failure. Why did you eat while others went hungry stressing over classes while you suffered academically on your own terms? Why drink water when you hadn’t put in enough effort to prove you deserved it. The thing that never changed was wanting to save people. You would die if it meant saving just one person. You wanted to change lives not ruin them. You wanted people to smile not scream and cry. You wanted to do so much more for people but had no energy left to try. Your flame had burnt out and you were running on what little smoke it still produced.
Like a steam engine your legs moved you up the dark staircase. Your fingers ran along the cold railing feeling every nick or chip. You wondered if someone touched you if they would feel the broken pieces. Could you cut someone with your shattered mask, with your fractured mental state. Was there a doctor, a quirk specialist, a magician, any person that could put you back together? all the kings’ horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put poor Y/n back together again. Or at least that’s what was going through your mind as the roof door opened with a swift kick that jolted pain through your leg at the heavy metal it was made of. You were so close to the edge. No one could stop you; no one could help you. No hero was waiting and you weren’t feeling heroic enough to try and stop this. All you could think was how you were just a few steps away. You had failed everything else. You couldn’t, you wouldn’t fail this.
---------------------------------------
You don’t have to remove your shoes since you aren’t wearing any. The roof is much windier than you expected. You jump slightly when the roof door slams from the force of the wind closing it. Your hair is reacting to the wind, trying to blow with it, which would normally bother you but you don’t care about something so trivial. You rub your arms from the slight chill the height and wind brought. Not much longer and you won’t have to worry about the cold, or anything for that matter. You close your eye tilting your head upward toward the vast sky. When you open them, you can barely make out the stars because your vision is warped. It’s like you’re watching the night sky as you sink deep under water. The tears that slide down your cheeks make you angry. Why were you crying when you chose this? You chose to climb the stairs and there was no turning around now. The large metal door wasn’t going to be the way in which you would be leaving. Your legs grow shaky as they move you closer and closer to the fencing. You push your hand against the fencing letting your fingers slip through the diamond patterning of thick metal wiring. This wasn’t going to stop you. Not when you climbed all those stairs and broke open a heavily locked door. You activate your quirk using the blades that appeared on your finger tips to cut the obstacle away. Your quirk allowed you to create blades on your body, they could range from small swiss army knives to sharp saw-like weaponry. A cool useful quirk wasted on a useless fuckup. Once there was a large enough hole in the fence you deactivated your quirk before tossing the damaged property aside. There was a little room between the outside of the fence and the lifted concrete ledge. Just enough room for you to move along the ledge trying to find a good spot. You ran your fingers against the cold stone feeling fragments of cement crumble away. You stopped after finding the perfect spot. You could see city lights in the distance and when you turned you could see the buildings you had run from. The rows of large dormitory building. Some lights were still on and you smiled wondering what these strangers were doing. Maybe some friends were staying up talking about nothing important just enjoying each other’s company. Maybe someone got hungry or needed to finish an assignment. The thing you truly hoped was that none of these lights were coming from a room where someone laid crying wishing for death as you had done for so long.
“Please don’t cry!” Your voice is carried by the wind and disappears into the darkness. You wipe at your eyes because you are yelling to no one but maybe you were yelling to one of those lights. Maybe you wanted anyone hurting to hear you, to feel that you cared. That you believed that they could get better, as a true hypocrite would.
“It’s okay to hurt!” The words weren’t yelled at max volume because your throat was tightening from holding back sobs. You were suffocating on them as you leaned your body over the ledge gripping it for dear life. This time no words came out but instead a scream. A scream that mimicked that of an injured animal, or someone who had witnessed everything they love be destroyed. You screamed until you felt like you couldn’t breathe anymore, till your throat was raw. Your nails dug into your neck, palms pushing against your throat begging for your lung to work. Your body was breaking down and you could feel adrenaline pulsing through your veins. The word ‘breathe’ a mantra pounding in your skull. Maybe this is what you deserved for trying to preach something you didn’t practice, something you didn’t believe for yourself.
“I… I JUST WANT IT TO STOP!” There were rivers of sorrow moving like ghastly rapids down your flushed face. Snot dripped out your nose and you gave up wiping it away. You were ugly right now and that didn’t matter. No one was here to see you like this anyway. That was a good thing. You wouldn’t be able to bear the weight of judgement you’d receive from this nauseating display. “Please make it stop.”
Your grip on the stone wall tightened as you finally pulled yourself onto it. The edge crumbled slightly causing you to feel the smallest bit of apprehension. Why were you scared? Why the hell did you keep questioning yourself? The more questions that you asked yourself the more doubt arose, it was creating hesitancy. You were standing literally on the edge, there was no room for indecision. Eyes closing you think, think about everything that lead you here. The quiet disappointment of your parents, the withdrawn behavior that pushed your friends away, the pain of waking up. The bad wasn’t all you thought about, you thought about the good times. The way your parents cried and held you with worry after the USJ attack, the proud cheering for you at the sports festival even though you lost, and how they always text you to remind you that they love you. They supported you, loved you, and yet you just couldn’t use that as an excuse to feel better. You were still missing pieces of yourself, no matter how much love you received you still hated yourself which made their love feel invalid, undeserved. There were good times with your friends as well. The first day of school was the most terrifying and yet best day. You remember Bakugou getting scolded by Iida, you remember the way Midoriya’s eyes sparkled when learning people’s quirks, and you loved the anxiousness and thrill you felt holding onto that ball. You didn’t even know if you could match everyone else’s throws but that didn’t matter, what mattered was that you were even there amongst such amazing people. The time you spent with Mina was the most important, she was the first friend you made that truly loved and cared about you no matter what mood you were in. The first time you ignored her she gave you space but still checked in on you. She still told you jokes and complimented you. It hurt at first but then you realized that no matter what happened she’d be there for you. She made school easier for you. Other people soon approached you and you had become a part of different groups. Kirishima always invited you to train, Kaminari always tried to make you laugh and flirted playfully with you every time you seemed down. Every time you were lost in bad thoughts, when your body was amongst friends but your mind was in a dark place, Sero would tape Kaminari to the wall. You’d laugh, really laugh no matter how many times he did it. There were so many moments and memories you had shared with your classmates. What a shame they’d go to waste.
“I’m so sorry.” The words came out dejected. No fight left, no more energy. You were tired and ready. Oh god you were so ready for this to all stop. The slightest giggle broke the silence with as much pain the screams had. “I’m sorry.”
Your parents flashed through your mind followed by your friends. Regrets disappearing from your body as you inched closer to freedom. Midoriya would cry, he always cried. You didn’t want him to cry, sitting in that teacher’s lounge waiting for you knowing that you wouldn’t ever return. With you gone he could have friends, enjoy life without your negative energy. He could hold Uraraka close while you faded from existence. Bakugou wouldn’t show his emotions, he was really good at hiding any emotion that wasn’t anger. However, you knew he would be sad. You knew that he had blamed himself for All Might’s retirement. He would blame himself which scared you. This had nothing to do with him failing to save you. This had everything to do with failing to save yourself. You wondered if he would still make too much food out of habit and have to throw it away. Would he train harder as a distraction, potentially overwork himself? One final heartbreaking question passed your mind. Would Mina still smile, would you take her sunshine when you left?
One step and the world seemed to move in slow motion then all at once. The sky was beautiful as you turned to fall backwards. You didn’t want to see the ground. Just the gorgeous vastness of space. You fell with grace. Like an angel falling from heaven, like a shooting star, like someone who had nothing left to live for. Darkness surrounded you as your conscience was lost, as you plummeted toward the ground.
--------------------------------------
Bakugou and Midoriya collided as they rushed into the broken school doorway. The panic in each other’s eyes evident as they shared a look. Usually they were rivals but, in this moment, they wanted the same thing and it didn’t matter who got there first, what mattered was that they got there. Got to you. Finally sharing the same goal, they moved as a unit toward the staircase. How long did it take you to climb these stairs? Were your legs as heavy as your heart? Midoriya wanted to find you sitting on the stairs crying. Bakugou wanted to open the door and find you on the other side about to head back down because you couldn’t do it. As they ran, they both wished they could have done more but there was only so much they could have done. Bakugou wanted to go back in time and fought the people and situations that made you feel this way. Midoriya would have held your hand, dried you tears, reminded you every moment that you mattered. They will do these things if they stop you, after they stop you. Fear drove them up the stairs faster. The temperature getting hotter and hotter as Bakugou activated his quirk to move faster. The dark walls of the stairwell illuminate as Midoriya uses one for all to boost his legs further, skipping a copious number of stairs at a time. Passing a window, they hear you, the words you yelled to those distant lights, ‘please don’t cry’ ’it’s okay to hurt’ it was as if you were giving the validation you wish you had. The words were heartbreaking enough but the added tone intensified them, the broken scream that followed just about destroyed the boys. By the time they reached the halfway point you had begged for this to stop. Your words were like knives digging into their hearts, chests, and minds. How could you have felt this much pain and no one ever notice? What kind of heroes were they if they couldn’t save you? Though the most important thing for heroes to remember is that they can’t save everyone. Right now, they didn’t care if they couldn’t save anyone else, they just wanted to be able to save you.
“Don’t you fucking do it!” Bakugou’s voice matched the time he had broken down in front of Midoriya. Tears welled up in Midoriya’s eyes and his voice followed his childhood friends. “Y/N! WE’RE COMING FOR YOU!”
Bakugou turned and looked toward the doorway leading into the school halls. He didn’t know what possessed him to rush through the doors rather than continue up the stairs, but he was grateful. He ran at the window as he heard Midoriya scream from the floor above. Bakugou rushed through the glass and he wasn’t the only one. Midoriya had kicked through the window and launched himself outside to try and catch you. Bakugou used his quirk to propel himself downward after you. Him and Midoriya moving at the same speed. Fire blasting behind Bakugou while Midoriya kept running along the side of the building. You were passing the floors faster and faster. Bakugou screamed using the full force of his quirk. His hand reached out and grabbed your ankle yanking backward to pull the top half of you closer. His hand gripped the back of your head pulling you into himself. He could see the ground getting closer and couldn’t use his quirk without letting go of you. He would have taken the damage but didn’t. He never hit the ground as Midoriya kicked off the building grabbing the two of you before pushing against the air. He broke through the fourth story window hitting the floor and tumbling through the glass. He had let go of Bakugou who was still holding you, his hand cradling your head against his chest as he took the force of hitting the floor and glass pushing through his sleep tank top. Both boys were breathing heavy their chest pounding harder than when they were running. Midoriya got up rushing to your side. Bakugou moved you away from his chest. Your chest rose and fell in a very slow manner. It was like you were sleeping. They were scared that when you woke up, you’d try again, you’d fight them for saving you. Or maybe you would be okay. Maybe you just needed to be saved to know that it was possible. Bakugou wouldn’t let go of you and Midoriya wouldn’t leave your side. His fingers stroking your hair. The two boys shared a quiet promise to not tell anyone about their sorry states. Bakugou was crying, his eyes bloodshot. Midoriya didn’t look any better, he had to keep wiping his nose and eyes on his hoodie sleeve. There was the distant sound of sirens and the dark room flashed with red and blue lighting from below. Bakugou stood up holding you in his arms. Midoriya took off his hoodie shaking the debris off it before laying over you. Bakugou and him stare at you before looking at each other. They could tell how much the other care for you. Bakugou scoffed before walking ahead. Midoriya smiled sadly walking beside him. His legs were throbbing and he could see the singe marks on Bakugou’s knuckles. They walked down the stairs in silence, no words being shared. Nothing could be said right now, you were safe for now and they just wanted you to be okay. Police, EMT’s, and a fire truck were parked outside. Your classmates stood off to the side behind tape, every one of them. Mr. Aizawa turned with All Might to look at the boys than down at you in Bakugou’s arms. The medical staff rushed forward but before they could try and take you Bakugou pulled the hand supporting your head free. It sparked and his snarl threatened them. Midoriya moved his hand to replace Bakugou’s against your head. The officers told Bakugou to back down and give you over. All Might and Mr. Aizawa approached.
“Young Bakugou, Young Midoriya. You got to her on time. We are so grateful; you both are heroes but now you have to hand her over so they can take her to the hospital.” Bakugou didn’t want to let you go and before he could Midoriya spoke up. “We made it on time to catch her. We didn’t make it on time to stop her. She jumped; we were just able to catch her.”
There was this tension as the realization seeped into the two adults’ minds. You had jumped and that changed things even more. The two boys knew you needed help, a lot more help and they were determined to get it for you. They knew that you couldn’t be magically cured and that this would take time but they had time and were willing to be there through it all. The two boys nodded at each other before handing you over to the EMT waiting. They watched them hook you onto a gurney lifting you into the ambulance and then you were gone. As you were wheeled to the vehicle your classmates behind the tape watched. They couldn’t believe that one of them had been hurting enough to do this. The girls were quiet do to them being the last ones to witness your breakdown. Uraraka was crying and rubbing her hands against her eyes. Sobs broke from her as she realized that she was the one who pushed you to do this. Mina screamed your name willing you to sit up and smile at her but you remained unconscious on the bed. She watched you get taking away and she cried out your name while the students around her cried too. They never wanted this and wished they had been there for you. The thing is though, you would never want them to blame themselves.
“Come on you all get back to the dorms.”  Mr. Aizawa ushered his students away leaving Midoriya and Bakugou to tell the police what had happened. Bakugou was aggressive toward the officer when he seemed to not care about your mental health. They made it seem like you were crazy. Even Midoriya had to argue for your sake. They both left with All Might. They wanted to go to the hospital but only family was allowed to see you. All Might promised the boys that he would take them to see you as soon as you were allowed to have visitors. There was also a chance you wouldn’t want people to see you, or that you’d be considered a threat to others and yourself and be locked up.
While everyone dealt with this heart ache and remorse you rested peacefully for once. Not even aware that you hadn’t succeeded.

undercover dating
summary: Mustang and Hawkeye accept a mission at the request of Fuhrer Grumman to apprehend a questionable man who is involved in moving illegal weapons through the country. The catch? They must go undercover as lovers in order to infiltrate the high-end restaurant in Central that caters to that particular clientele.

“To be honest,” Hawkeye muttered, plastering a smile on her face as she rested her hand on her commanding officer’s forearm. “I’m not sure if he did this to either try and embarrass us or to try and force something.”
“Oh yeah?” Roy replied, showing his most charming smile to the doorman and giving the man his surname.
They were both silent as they were shown to their table. The booths were high backed, giving the impression of intimacy and privacy. There was even a curtain that could be pulled across the entrance to further shield them from view. Roy noted the incredibly beautiful place settings resting atop gold embroidered tablecloths, with more knives and forks than he knew what to do with. Like the walls, the tablecloth was a deep red, the vibrancy almost muted by the dim lighting in the restaurant. The place settings were stark white against the cloth below it. A plush black carpet was beneath their feet, with tiny flecks of glitter through it. As they walked by, the light caught the flecks and their attention.
Once settled in their private booth, Roy picked up their conversation, finally away from any possible prying eyes and ears.
“You really think he would force something like this?” His voice was low as a precaution. Not that anyone would be paying attention, but one could never be too careful.
Hawkeye rolled her eyes. “How could you not think that?”
“I admit,” he grinned, the smile reaching his eyes and making them shine in his amusement, “it had crossed my mind. The customer is persistent in becoming involved in my personal affairs, although he keeps pushing me to marry his granddaughter, so I must apologise to you, Elizabeth.” His eyes twinkled.
One corner of Hawkeye’s mouth quirked upwards as she lifted her menu to peruse the options.
Roy did the same but wasn’t interested in what he was seeing. Grumman had given them the menu beforehand and he’d already picked out his order. Instead, Roy’s ears picked up the conversation behind him. Two socialites were discussing a latest chihuahua purchase, something unimportant to the case.
Hawkeye moved one hand to rest upon the table, tapping her index finger twice, then pausing as she pretended to scrutinise the very expensive food on offer to them tonight. The two taps encouraged him to listen in on what was going on around them, but he’d already determined there was nothing of importance. Nothing they were looking for anyway. Besides, his mind was far too preoccupied with the lovely lady beside him. He should focus on his work, but it was difficult when Riza Hawkeye was dressed up to the nines and looking gorgeous. Oh, how unfortunate it was, that Fuhrer Grumman had ‘forced’ them to play the part of two lovers tonight. It was such a damn shame.
At least Grumman was paying for this. Deciding to splash out, Roy would order the most expensive steak. That would teach the old coot for trying to push him and his subordinate together.
“Hmm…” Her hum diverted Roy’s attention away from the menu immediately. “I suppose…” Her menu closed and she smiled softly at him. “No offence taken, Roy. I completely understand. Old people can be very persistent and persuasive,” she smirked, placing her menu back down on the table. Like him, she’d already picked out her food for the evening.
“They can,” he smirked, leaning in close to his ‘date’, as if he were making a quiet comment to her. His mouth so was close to her ear that Roy was sure he saw Riza shiver. “Nothing to the right,” he murmured.
“I agree,” she smirked as he pulled away. “At three o’clock tomorrow,” Hawkeye began, and Roy automatically glanced out he booth, looking towards the door of the restaurant, “we should hear an answer back about meeting up with him for lunch.”
“Noted, Elizabeth. I’ll keep an ear out for the door.” His reply was smooth as he noted the presence of the man they were supposed to be tailing. He approached the bar with his entourage and ordered a drink. His group consisted of two guards who scanned the low-lit bar as their boss viewed the menu.
“Should I make a play for it sooner? If I do, I might get an answer quicker.”
“No,” Roy shook his head, “and let’s leave shop talk for now. Dinner first,” he grinned, ecstatic at the chance to sit down and have a meal with her in such a romantic setting. It was like a dream come true. “After we’ve ate, we can make a decision about tomorrow.”
Hawkeye nodded in agreement and sat back in her chair. A quiet sigh left her as she turned her head to look out at the rest of the restaurant.
Roy couldn’t help but admire her profile as she did. Riza Hawkeye was captivating even in her military uniform, so when she was dressed up in a floor length, forest green gown, he was dazzled by her. Roy’s eyes never strayed far from her. He couldn’t look away and never wanted to. She was as radiant as ever, but the way wisps of her hair trailed down the elegant column of her neck were tantalizing. What he wouldn’t give to caress the skin of her face with his thumb, or tangle his hands in her beautifully tied back, made up hair –
“I was thinking,” Hawkeye murmured, eyes still scanning the bar carelessly, as if she were simply waiting to catch the eye of their waiter, “three o’clock may be too early tomorrow. How about five?” Her head turned to await his answer, and Roy snapped out of his thoughts.
“Five is good,” he replied, clearing his throat. Glancing slightly to his right, he noted their target had sat down at a table which remained in their view. That was good. They could watch him all night if they had to. “Five is perfect,” he smiled at her.
“Good.” Shifting in her chair, her foot brushed up against his shin and it was Roy’s turn to shudder. He’d taken delight in the reaction he’d drawn from Riza earlier when he’d whispered in her ear, and it was a similar feeling when she did the same to him. Smirking to himself, Roy wondered if this would become a game for the night. It was torture. They weren’t able to act on it personally, but they had to play the part they were given by the Fuhrer, didn’t they? A little kiss here and there wouldn’t go amiss. Roy bristled with excitement at the thought. They could be them for a change. They wouldn’t have to hide.
Dinner was ordered and it was divine. Because of their positions in the booth Roy was the one to keep an eye on their target as they ate. It was incredibly difficult because his attention was constantly drawn back to Riza next to him, but he managed. They discussed mundane things as they ate, but Roy thought it was absolutely wonderful. What he wouldn’t give to converse with her like this every time they met. Discussing the weather and what their plans were for dinner the rest of the week. What parks she liked to frequent in her spare time with Hayate and what dramas she enjoyed listening to at night on the radio. They didn’t have the proper time at work to devote to such topics, and Roy was hooked on her every word.
After their plates were cleared, their target made his move.
“On the move,” Roy muttered lowly. He leaned in close, speaking into her ear. Her breath caught in her throat and Roy was overcome with such strong desire that he couldn’t help himself. He pressed his lips gently to her cheek. Her skin was soft, and the faint scent of lavender filled his nostrils from her shampoo. A trailing strand of her hair tickled his nose and he wrinkled it to shift the pleasant irritation.
Pulling away, he was unapologetic as he stared into her eyes. He widened them slightly, trying to convey a message. Be careful. Because now that their target was on the move, it would be Hawkeye’s turn to step up. She’d tail their target and make a move on them.
Riza’s lips parted in anticipation and she didn’t move like Roy expected her to. His kiss had thrown her off, and while that delighted him it also halted her progress and her mission. For the briefest of seconds, Roy didn’t care. All that mattered to him, all that made his heart pound inside his ribcage, was that Riza was rendered mute and had been affected by the kiss he’d pressed on upon her cheek.
“Be safe,” he murmured. He held her gaze, not looking away until she responded to his request.
“I will,” she breathed. Her face leaned closer to his and Roy inhaled sharply, but she simply scooted herself out the booth and stood, grabbing her purse as she left. But not before Roy caught the light dusting of pink on her cheeks. He sat back, feeling whole and content. Even though they had work to do and goals to achieve, it was enough to see that colour in her cheeks and to feel her skin beneath his lips.
Ten minutes passed and Roy became antsier by the second. He sucked up the water left by the ice in his glass and slipped out he booth. He tossed enough cash on the table to cover the bill and a generous tip before making his way to the back of the restaurant.
Taking the stairs down into the basement and entering the second door on the left like he’d been directed to, Roy came upon the target’s secret poker game. Hawkeye was there beside him, a hand placed upon his shoulder as she smirked at his hand. Her chin was almost on his shoulder too, her other hand hidden underneath the table. No doubt it was resting upon his thigh, and the thought made Roy’s jaw clench tightly. She played her part beautifully, cosying up to the target, but Roy didn’t like the idea of throwing her to the wolves like this. Whether he loved her or not, the proposition had never sat well with him.
“This is a private game, Sir,” a member of staff explained, their tone bored.
“I know,” he bit out.
“This your lady?” Their target’s voice boomed inside the small room. His smile showed off his teeth.
Hawkeye quickly glanced over at Roy, seemingly unbothered by his interruption. However, Roy picked up the warning look from her. He must have looked furious, because her expression faltered, and she frowned at him.
“I seem to have borrowed your lady for the night then.” Their target’s eyes reminded Roy of a shark as he stared straight into them. “I hope you don’t mind,” he smirked. It was a dangerous smile and he placed a hand possessively on Hawkeye’s ass, making a show of it as he threw his arm around her back.
Roy saw red. His body tensed and his hand dived into his pocket for his ignition glove, but Hawkeye beat him to it. She slammed the palm of her hand into the target’s chin, hard. His neck gave a sickening crunch as she jerked it roughly and slipped out of the chair, drawing her gun. Roy still lifted a hand, poised to snap, and eyes blazing in warning as he stared the man down.
The target cursed loudly, shooting Hawkeye a glare as he clutched his neck then his chin. “You bitch,” he growled.
“Keep your hands off me next time,” she snarled, levelling her weapon.
A gunshot rang out and Roy ducked instinctively. His chest tightened, restricting his ability to breathe when he saw Hawkeye fall to the ground.
“Riza!” he called out. It was wrenched from his chest, dropping all professionalism as panic consumed his entire being. Every muscle fibre was locked in shock, unable to move as her body hit the floor hard.
Within a second, she rolled over and levelled her gun once more, returning the bullet to the man who’d shot her. With a face like thunder, she hit his shoulder and he dropped his weapon as he cried out in pain.
Their target shoved their chair back roughly, fleeing from the room with his other bodyguard behind him.
“Ri – Hawkeye,” Roy correct himself as he sprinted over to her. Everyone else at the poker game had either yelled and bolted, or had their hands in the air, their faces alarmed and worried. Roy didn’t care. He only had eyes for his downed Lieutenant.
“Go,” she urged, shoving his shoulder roughly.
Roy tipped to the side, off balance, as he took in her face. Sweat was apparent and a droplet dripped down her temple as she gritted her teeth against the pain. Blood was flooding the skirt of her dress from a tear on the side of her leg. The bastard had shot her in the leg.
“Roy, go.” She glared at him, shifting her weight so her injured leg was spread out in front of her, the other bent underneath her body. “Go and get him. Focus,” she commanded. Her sharp tone had gotten through to him. However, Roy still debated leaving her for a second. Looking into her eyes, Riza conveyed she was all right, and that he still had a job to do.
Heart in his throat, Roy rose from his crouch and sprinted out of the room. Following the sound of a door slamming, Roy followed the man into the alley behind the restaurant. As soon as he was out the door, Roy was tackled to the ground by the bodyguard. He didn’t even have a chance to see his approach. With a pained grunt, he hit the ground hard and clawed at the man’s back. Luckily, the bodyguard’s head was low enough on Roy’s torso that he was able to hit his fist against the back of the man’s neck, causing him loosen his grip. Sliding out from underneath the stunned bodyguard, Roy surged to his feet and tackled their target, who had been fumbling with his keys, trying to enter his car to get to safety.
An elbow hit Roy’s jaw in response to his troubles. He reeled backwards, clutching it. Blinking against the stars in his vision, Roy tried to clear it as best he could before another blow landed, but he needn’t have worried. Their target was still trying to get inside his vehicle.
A shot from behind Roy rang out and for the second time that night, and he jumped and ducked. Spinning in his crouch, losing his balance, Roy spotted Riza leaning heavily against the doorframe behind him. Her face was furious, but her gun was steady after she fired. Their target slumped over with a cry and Roy rushed to restrain him.
“Are there any others?” Roy barked his question, pulling the bigger man’s arms tightly behind him as he still tried to blink dots from his vision.
It wasn’t enough though. Roy was tossed off his back and to the side as the taller man bucked underneath him. The man unsheathed a knife and swung wildly. The tip of the blade just caught Roy’s cheek as he backed off as far as he could. It wasn’t far enough though, and the wound smarted. He hissed loudly and he lifted a hand to cover it, clambering to his feet. Lifting a hand, Roy snapped and ignited the man’s jacket. Just enough to distract and stop him from swinging the knife.
As he patted down the flames frantically, Roy snapped again, removing them completely before he grabbed the target again. This time, Roy fumbled the handcuffs from his jacket first and cuffed his hands together. Falling off their target as he bucked angrily, Roy covered his injured cheek and watched, his heart rate sky high from the adrenaline coursing through his body.
Sitting down heavily, Roy caught his breath. They’d apprehended their target.
Then, the events of the last few minutes caught up with him. Spinning on the ground, he rose to his feet and hurried over to Riza.
“Hawkeye.”
She looked worse for wear but still coherent and able to stand when he reached her.
Giving him a tired nod, she answered his unspoken question. “I’m okay.” Her frame was shaking.
“Here,” he murmured. Roy gripped her wrist to lift it over his shoulders. He kept a tight hold as he wrapped the other arm around her back to assist her with walking. Roy led Riza over to a storage crate in the alley. “Take a seat.”
“Thanks.”
Roy lowered to a crouch and cupped her cheek, lifting her head so that she was eye to eye with him. He scanned her whisky eyes, trying to find anything wrong with her, but she just looked drained. He needed to get her to the hospital as soon as possible, but she seemed to be okay at the moment.
“Your cheek,” she breathed.
Roy shook his head. “It’s nothing. How’s that leg.”
Riza shrugged. “Seems to have clipped the edge. It’s just an abrasion.”
He bit his lip, looking over his shoulder. Their target was face down and still, but his back was rising with his breath. “I don’t want to –”
“Go get the MPs,” she finished for him. A soft smile graced her exhausted features. “I’ll be fine.” She waved her gun in her hands as if that were the answer to all, but Roy still didn’t like it.
Biting the bullet, he rose from his crouch, but cupped her cheek once more. His lips were pressed against the top of her head, hard. “I’ll be right back,” he whispered into her hair before he rushed off. She might kill him for it, but Roy didn’t care. He needed to let her know that he wasn’t leaving her alone, injured, by choice. He wanted her to know he was there for her, no matter what would happen now.
*          *          *
A knock on her apartment door had Riza limping to her door. Hayate was hot on her heels, a low growl emitting from his throat, which quickly turned into an excited whine.
“Sir,” she greeted in surprise, blinking at the Colonel after opening the door.
“Hey,” he greeted with a smile. “I came by to see how you were doing, Lieutenant.”
“I’m okay. Would you like to come in?”
He was torn, she could see that much. “I was actually just passing by. I have dinner with my mother soon.”
His mother’s bar was in the opposite direction of her apartment, and Roy knew that Riza was well aware of that. She was touched he’d decided to check up on her anyway. It was a relief to see him up and walking as well. The cut on his cheek had been superficial and had healed nicely, but Riza hadn’t seen him since the unexpected shootout two days ago.
She’d been treated for the wound on her leg, completely superficial as well, the doctor said, reassuring her it looked worse than it was. It had clipped the edge of her skin, not actually entering her body at all. Riza had been in the hospital overnight then sent home with strict order to stay off her feet over the weekend and return if the pain got any worse. Temptation had played with her, whispering to her to call Roy or ask at the hospital where the Colonel was, but she’d resisted. If he could visit, he would. After the kiss he’d pressed against her cheek in the restaurant, and then into her hair in that alley, Riza knew for sure that was the case. Her skin tingled at the memory of it even now. It would have been reassuring to see he was safe in person, rather than hearing it from word of mouth, but at least Roy was here now.
“Oh, okay.”
“Any other time, yes,” he reassured her. “You know what she can be like if she’s kept waiting,” he chuckled.
Riza smiled. “I do. Not a problem, Sir. Another time,” she agreed.
He nodded, bobbing his head twice. “I had fun that night, Lieutenant,” Roy told her, a crooked grin on his face, hands shoved low into his pockets. “It makes me want to do it again sometime.”
Riza smiled softly, more than ready to agree with him, but unfortunately couldn’t. “We –”
“Can’t,” Roy finished for her, with an apologetic smile. “I know.”
“I had fun too though,” she admitted, expression softening. She’d absolutely loved getting the chance to spend the time with him in the way she’d always wanted to, but never would be able to.
“Well…” He shifted his stance and cleared his throat. “I just wanted to stop by and see for myself that you were all right.”
“The feeling is mutual, Sir. I’m glad you’re well.”
“See you at work on Monday?” He’d partially turned away from her apartment door, preparing to leave.
Riza leaned against the door itself, letting it take her weight and easing the pressure on her leg. “Of course, Sir.”
With a quick grin he bid her goodbye. “Have a nice evening, Lieutenant.”
“You too, sir.”
The pair smiled to themselves as they turned away, Riza closing her door and Roy walking away with an extra bounce in his step.

Yandere hawks for Bear
This whole thing is dead dove as Fuck. Yandere Hawks and Rape occur in this fic. If you don't like it, Dont read it. enjoy!
@possessedfuzzybear
Dabi knows the moment Hawks lets him limp away that he’s going to get an infection. The alley is disgusting and the Hero hadn’t been gentle as he’d used Dabi , resulting in more than a few popped staples. He jerks away as the Hero presses a thumb into one of the seams, plucking another staple he loosened out of the skin.
“Fucking watch it.” He snarls at him and rips his arm out of the Hero’s grip. Dabi braces himself against the wall as his knees try to go out from under him. His pants are coated in muck from where Hawks had forced him to kneel.
“When’s our next meeting? You know I can’t go back to the commision empty handed.” The Hero drawls out with a bored expression as he examines one of the Villain’s staples in his hand. A small baby feather slips onto a loop on Dabi coat as he picks it up.
“When Shigaraki decides it.” The coat slides on providing him with another layer he can hide from Hawks prying eyes. TheHero has already seen the wreck of his body under the clothing and yet Dabi can still feel him undressing him with his eyes.
“I’ll swing by your new base sometime next week then? I’m sure we can find some way to pass the time... If there’s no news for me.” The Hero narrowed his eyes at Dabi, twirling a longer feather in his hands again. They both knew he wouldn’t harm Dabi with it. Not when it was more useful as a threat of how the Hero could pin Dabi in place. A casual reminder that he could do as he wished with Dabi, and no one would stop him.
“If we don’t have any news for you can keep your ass out of the base. I’ll come over the same as usual. No one at the base needs your Herobullshit attitude hanging around.” He snaps at him. Hawks kept finding their bases despite Dabi routinely checking for stalkers and it’s gotten to the point where if he doesn't want the rat with wings to show up he goes to his apartment. He should tell Shigaraki to move it again when he gets back.
Tomura knew something was wrong. Asking got him nothing but upturned lips and insults in return. The one time he tried to corner his second-in-command it got him lit on fire. Tomura wasn’t sure what it would take to fully bring Dabi into his party. If the scarred man would ever be willing to. Dabi seemed to have his mind set on his own goals. He still only trusted Twice and Giran with his number staying absent from important meetings.
The conversation couldn’t wait until Dabi was comfortable with his boss anymore. Tomura dropped his coffee cup and snagged Dabi by the arm as the man’s knees buckled. Dabi glared at the hand on his arm right before emptying his stomach into the kitchen sink. Tomura's fingers twitching as he waited for him to be done. Both of them were really content to ignore the elephant in the room.
“I’m fucking fine.” Dabi rasped out as Tomura had Twice come over and pick him up. Setting him on the couch.
Dabi retched and Sako quickly pulled a trash can out of nowhere. He wasn’t sure if it was the same magic Kurogiri had always pulled on him or if it was Sako’s quirk. Maybe the man was an actual magician for all that he knew. Tomura had a team falling apart at the seams right now and Dabi wouldn't work with him. Heart events and trust took time. He’d achieved one that night on the roof and he would wait for the next ones as well.
Dabi had been spending a lot of time with the new recruit, leaving without saying anything and staying the night. Shigaraki suspected there was something between them. The way Dabi always had to be in Hawks eyesight and the nights he spent over there.
“How long have you been sick, Dabi?” Mr.Compress asked as he peeled Dabi out of his jacket. Rubbing the man's back as he melted into the couch.
“ It's just an infection, it happens.” Dabi mumbled, laid back against the couch, shrugging Sako’s concerned hands off him. His shoulders were slumped and covered in a cold clammy sweat, causing him to shiver.
Tomura’s nails dug deeper into his bloody neck. Scratching and peeling away at the scabs there. Dabi had probably gotten it by living with them. He had access to a shower and medical supplies through that fucking Hero recruit. Maybe, he’d been coming back to the base for them. He brought back shit often enough for the members and slept here still. At least, Tomura thought he slept here still. “Fucking gross.” Tomura sneered to himself as he thought about their space, mumbling soundlessly to himself as he looked around. This base wasn’t the cleanest. None of them had been, especially for a member with open wounds. There was still only so much they could do. Mr. Compress stiffened and glanced over at him. “You got sick because we’ve been moving around a lot right?” Sako’s voice was thick with concern and trepidation.
Dabi rolled his eyes. He pushed his shirt up so the LoV could see a scrape cutting across healthy skin and scar tissue. One of the seams that wrapped around his back up to his chest had staples missing. The area was swollen and shiny with inflammation and the accompanying pus produced as Dabi’s body desperately tried to heal itself. The infected area wasn't turning extreme colors so nothing would have to be removed there at least. “Got in a fight. Lost.” He let out a laugh that ended in a coughing fit. Dabi flinched away when Sako went to rub his back. He let his eyes slip closed as he gasped for air. “Not everything is about you guys. I'm just shit at keeping my mouth shut.”
Finally the shaking and sickness around Dabi got so bad that he asked Tomura where they were. Cementing the fact that unless they can kidnap a doctor and force them to help Dabi, he won't get better this time. Dabi had been insistent on sleeping around the League since he’d gotten sick. Whether it's for Dabi to guard them or for them to watch over him is something Tomura still hasn’t figured out. Toga is constantly wrinkling her nose with a worried look on her face and flips knives in a nervous habit everytime someone encroaches ‘her bubble’. Her bubble keeps fucking growing to the point where it’s just the same room as her sometimes.
“We have to give him up.” Tomura finally makes the choice for them as they watch Sako try and cool him down with a damp rag. It’s about as sanitary as they could get and hasn’t been working.
Tomura doesn't realize that his thoughts have been so similar and different from his members until Shuichi is flinching away like he’s said something worse than he has. He knows none of them trust the Hero, but Dabi spends some nights there and it's surer to be cleaner than where they are squatting. He’d have access to proper medical care if something goes wrong or if he gets worse.
“He has to go. That stuipd Hero can take better care of him than we can.” He snarled at them and Toga stepped forward, knife held tight in her hands and shoulders loose. Only a noob underestimated Toga. He’d seen her fighting against Heroes and there was a reason he was unafraid to send her in amongst the Heroes to spy.
“I am not giving Dabi up. If we have to steal a nurse then I can just take their place until Dabi is able to come with.” She took another measured step in Tomura’s direction.
‘Hold on, Maybe the boss has a plan. Shut and let her kill him! Like, we give him to the Heroes and they wouldn’t just kill a sick man right? Yes they would, they’ll kill us all.” Jin held his head in hands as he struggled to word what he wanted to convey. Tomura watched with frustrated red eyes as he argued with himself. This was not what he meant at all. What kind of leader leads their team straight to the enemy when their health bar is so low?
“Then we break him out right? That’s stupid and risky. I wouldn’t do jackshit for that weak guy. Survival of the fittest.” Jin looked up at him and his eyes were watering.
“We’re not handing him over to the actual heroes? What the fuck guys?” his voice was low as he tried not to yell.
“You want to leave him here for anyone who comes by then? He’s sick, Tomura-kun!” Toga glared at him and the knife shifted in her hands. “He needs us! He needs the League! He would never let anything happen to you!”
Sako kept one hand splayed on Dabi as he carefully watched the one going argument with thinned lips. Dabi was starting to wake up due to their noise but it seemed as if this time he wasn’t fully making it to the world of waking. Continuing to sleep fitfully.
“He’s sick and not getting better.” Tomura delicately grabbed Toga’s sleeve when she went to swipe at him. “Most adults who are staying out almost every night with another person are generally fond of them. He'll be happy. He’s a fucking Hero and he can’t take care of him better than we could ever hope to!”
“What are you talking about?!” Shuichi crossed his arms, walking over to stand by his boss. At least one member was willing to listen to him.
“Dabi’s been recruiting a Hero. One of the top 10. The Hero can take our burnt bitch until he’s not dying. He has access to medical equipment and can bribe a doctor. Dabi’s going to recover a lot quicker in a clean area with proper care. And we, we just dont fucking have that right now.” Tomura grit his teeth as Toga pulled her arm back and the room was dead silent.
‘It won’t, it won’t always be like this. I have a plan okay?” Tomura flung the hair that tended to fall in his eyes back. Brushing strands behind his ears as he stared his members in the eye.
“But we are going to have to move and Dabi needs- think of it like giving him a vacation from us. He gets to go enjoy 3 meals a day, sleep better and some hot water. When he comes back we are going to be able to at least have a place for him to be kept stable.” None of them looked reassured.
“I don’t like it. I’ll kill the bird if he hurts a hair on Dabi’s head.” Twice reached out and felt the skin on Dabi’s clammy forehead. “Whatever we have to do. We don’t have to do this. We can kidnap a nurse. I'll be a nurse, I'll steal an outfit and everything.”
“So were we in agreement? We’re going to pass him to the Heroand when he’s recovered? We will never have to watch him go through this again.” Tomura tried to speak with conviction. As if he knew that the Hero was on their side. As if Dabi wasn’t dying feet from them of something a Hero would never dream of. He wanted to assure them it was alright and that he had a plan. Tomura had nothing. Nothing but riskier and riskier gambles for party members he couldn't sacrifice.
They’d all die. Either slow and sick, like Dabi. Or during his craptastic ‘plan’ to get them resources and money. Still, he got slow nods from the league and went outside to make the call. He was going to have to pull a better and less desperate plan out of thin air.
Several hours later Hawks walked into the base like he owned. It sent shivers up Tomura’s back. He was a Hero and they were Villains. They outnumbered him technically, yet he seemed perfectly at ease and hadn’t even bothered to let them know he was coming. When they were all on high alert with an injured party member. Maybe he was so cocky he thought that they couldn’t kill him by accident. Tomura knew they very well could with how keyed up they all were.
“What part of ‘Get your feathery ass here’ was unclear?” Tomura stepped into his space. Fathers hand covered his face as his hands shook and he scratched at his neck with familiar destructive anxiety. “No knocking? Are you that confident you're welcome here?”
“Didn’t think I really had to announce myself considering you were expecting me. Sorry I had duties to attend to on my way here. Where is he?” Hawks looked around as if expecting them to just hand over their gift wrapped team member. Grimacing as he reminded himself that although that’s what it felt like, that’s not what they were doing.
“Follow me. His room is back here.” He led Hawks back, hating every moment his back was turned to him. The way he stared made him uncomfortable.
“Couldn’t have been too bad if he’s not ready to go. He hates me spending time around you guys for some reason. Like he’s jealous I'm gonna cheat or something. Staples doesn't come across as a real insecure guy but you can’t judge a book by its cover right?” He threw a patented press smile at Tomura. Tomura didn’t want to decay the Hero. Hedidn’t want to slap that look off his face.
He wanted to ram his fist into the Hero’s perfect teeth and shove them down his throat. Wanted to see him starving, bleeding, asking for help. Wanted to rip that nose that wrinkled at their living spaces and shove it between his teeth, chew it and spit the mangled mess out.
He wanted an end to all the Heroes, and this one. This one was one he had to hand his second-in-command over to.
Best case scenario?
He was wrong and Hawks cared for Dabi. Then he would at least have someone who could attend to Dabi. Dabi could murder them when he was better and not a limp sack of scars and bones on a dumpster dived couch.
A room for everyone. With beds. Room to grow so no one was moving too often or trying to find a spare bed.
“Damn.” Hawks let out a low whistle as he walked up to Dabi. “You look like worse shit than usual.”
Dabi sleepily stumbled off the couch when Hawks started talking. Trying to back out of Hawks space at the same time as stay upright. He threw a hand over his mouth as he blearily looked around for a bucket. Sighing, Tomura placed it next to Dabi, who heaved into the bucket.
Dabi laid back down on the couch, covering himself with a ripped crochet blanket and closing his eyes with a low groan. Hawks stepped up and grabbed the blanket away from him, tossing it back over the back of the couch as he picked up the small framed Villain.
“I can take him off your hands. Doesn't seem real safe to be leaving him here so I’m glad you called me.” The hero’s smile didn’t reach his eyes. Leaving Tomura with a bad feeling. He had to put aside his own feelings about Heroes and how disgustingly performative they could be. Dabi shoved against the Hero’s chest and muttered feverishly.
“It’s just your boy-toy Dabi.” Tomura walked up to them and caught Dabi’s hand, smirking when Dabi looked up at him with blank glassy eyes. “You're going on Vacation, I’ll come get you when we’ve leveled up enough.”
Dabi’s expression remained blank as Hawks pulled him away. He didn’t watch as Hawks took Dabi out of the room and then out of the base. Quickly shoving the last bag of crap they had through the door. Bright ass winged fucker would bring Heroes down on their head even if he didn’t mean to. Which meant moving bases again.
Dabi had nightmares of being trapped in Hawks arms. Covered by his wings, the feathers being laid on him sharp and if he twitched too hard away they would slice his skin open. Hawks rubbing his back as he puked only to start plucking the staples out one by one and then jamming them back in. Hawks feeding him and making stupid noises as he shoved it down his throat. Of being used as he wove in and out of consciousness. Hawks cuming on his sleeping face or the seam line on his chest.
The next time Dabi was fully lucid he realized they were not nightmares.
He was somehow in Hawks apartment, an IV stuck in his arm and taped down. Dabi was horrified to realize he was naked beneath the sheet he was covered with. His chest seized and he coughed up gunk into his fist, Hawks walking around the corner saw him.
“Morning sleeping beauty.” The Hero shook a bottle in his hand as he walked over. Dabi flinched back and gritted his teeth as his legs cramped. His arm hurt and if it wasn’t for the scar tissue he was sure he would be able to see a dark bruise. As it was it ached and he couldn’t tell how bad the damage was.
“Fuck off.” He snapped at Hawks as the Hero tipped two pills into his hand and held them out. Dabi had no idea how long he had been here. It wouldn’t be the first time Dabi had woken up to Hawks having raped him. Or in the process of raping him.
There wasn’t anything gross around his thighs and he was in no more pain than usual. Reaching up to hold his pounding head revealed he couldn’t trust that though. Hair still damp so Hawks must have showered him. It wasn’t like his consent mattered to the Hero. “Sure if you want to end up right back here. How do you think you ended up here ‘Dabi’?” He questioned as Dabi stared at him. Hands in white knuckled fists holding on to the sheet. He picked at the IV shoved into his arm as he refused to answer. He didn’t know.
“The League gave you to me. They didn’t really want to wait around for you to suddenly be healthy.” Hawks said with an almost apologetic tone. Dabi looked from the pills he was holding out to the hero’s fake expression.
“I don’t believe you.” Dabi stared at the pills making no move to take them. Sighing Hawks turned the bottle around so Dabi could see it. Amoxicillin, regular antibiotics then, which made sense since Hawks needed him to try getting into the League. The IV was probably because he was dehydrated, which wasn’t unusual. Still, if he was awake there was no need to have it in. He swallowed the small capsules and peeled off the tape on his elbow. Gently easing out the needle.
“Well I’m the only thing you’ve got now.” Hawks smirked at him. Dabi looked away but Hawks grabbed him by the chin. The Hero’s thumb pressing directly on his staples and causing him to wince. He straddled Dabi’s waist and pressed a messy kiss to his lips. Dabi’s quirk smoldered ineffectively as he tried to force it to work. Hawks was moving too fast and he didn’t want this, unable to concentrate enough to use his quirk as Hawks gripped him to tighty and grabbed his dick.
A flicker of flame escaped and Hawks sighed at the sight of it. The Hero didn’t waste time reaching over to the coffee table and dumping the glass of water on it.
“Is that your way of telling me you want me to take us to the shower so I can have my fun?” Acidic yellow eyes bored into Dabi’s as he tried to force his heavy limbs to move.
“It’s my way of telling you to leave me the fuck alone.” He snapped back at the Hero. Hawks looking fake affronted as his phone rang. “I’ll be back, we can discuss how to plan to pay your way here if it’s not with your body when I get back.”
Hawks left out the door and Dabi stood up, starting the search for clothes he could escape in. Knowing Hawks he wouldn’t be gone long. He eventually found a pair of sweats he shoved on after looking everywhere for his clothes. Hawks must have thrown them out.
The Hero had, of course, came through the door right as he was leaving. Trying to disappear into the setting sun as Dabi coughed and tried to get himself down the fire escape faster. Hawks walked through the door after him, not bothering to rush as he turned and shut the door after himself. He stuck his hands in his pockets and cracked his neck as he stalked down after Dabi.
“Aren't we past this? Where are you even going, Dabi? I told you the League gave you up, they moved as well. Who knows where they are at this point.” The Hero walked after him. “I take care of you don’t I?”
“You’ve fucking drugged and raped me.” Dabi shouted back at him, voice raspy as his lungs refused to draw in enough air. He coughed and mucus came up his throat. He spat it at Hawks. Dabi had no idea how long it had been that he was with the Hero but… At this point he was starting to believe Hawks. The League must have given up on him. Determined that he was no longer a use to them with his stupid ragdoll body and poor health. He had just been using them right back to achieve his own goals so he couldn't really blame them.
A coughing fit seized Dabi. He wheezed, doubled over in the alley, as Hawks blocked the light coming into it. The Hero’s yellow eyes nearly glowed. Dabi was reminded of fool’s gold. He was a fool for ever falling for him.
Hawks walked up to him The Hero placed his chemical scented hand over Dabi’s mouth and nose, waiting until he passed out and fell to the ground with a roll of his eyes. Hawks easily picked up the Villain and tossed him over his own shoulder. walking back the block to his apartment with the villain slung over his shoulder.
Dabi woke up to being thrown on the bed painfully. Uncaring if it hurt or the state he would end up in afterwards he blindly reached for his quirk. He should just cremate the Hero and steal his apartment. His quirk didn’t come to him and Hawks gave a smug grin as he pulled the Villain’s sweats down. Trying to kick him with his heavy limbs did nothing.
“You look cute in my borrowed clothes. How am I supposed to resist you when you look all sexy flushed like this? I could keep you like this, you know. Never let you finish the antibiotics. Would be fun until they no longer worked at least.” He hummed as he stroked Dabi’s thigh.
There was shouting as Dabi was brought back to himself and Hawks was throwing pants on himself as he shouted at Twice. Dabi let out a chuckle as he realized he was going insane, Twice was part of the League and no matter how good of a guy he was he wasn’t coming to save him.
“He’s not even responding to me. What did you do to him?” Twice yelled as he started making a clone of himself, splitting. The original spun around as Dabi laughed. What had Hawks been doing to him? “Dabi I came to check on you because this dickhead kept telling us you didn’t want to talk to us and we know that’s not true!” His mask was damp with tears and Dabi didn’t know what to say to an ex- friend. Coworker, whatever Twice was. “We hate you back.”
“He’s been uh, raping me. I think. You guys gave me to him though. So I don’t think he really expected anyone to visit.” he glanced around uncomfortably. What did they think the Hero would do with him when they decided to just do this without his consent?
There was a roar of outrage from Jin. Several clones of Twice were busy holding Hawks back as the original pulled Dabi out of bed. He numbly accepted it and pulled his sweats up. Jin was slinging his arm over his shoulder, gently helping him up.
“We can deal with him later. Can you walk? What about your quirk?” He asked as they moved towards the door. There was a sickening crunch Dabi knew well as the sound of bones being cracked and twisted, when he glanced back Hawks was dogpiled by clones. Even as they were destroyed more were made and Hawks wings were twisted to be facing downwards. Mangled and bloody as he was passed out. “Forget your quirk, it’s useless anyways.”
“I'd rather not use it if I don’t have to.” He muttered as Twice walked him down to street level. A warp portal in an alley waiting for them. The familiar noise of the League greeting his ears as they stepped through.
“Do you want to clean up before you're mobbed? We missed you.” He quietly commented as he quietly asked as they paused in what appeared to be a hallway. “We got you a room! I bet you’ll hate it! And your nurse!”
“What? Why do I have a room?” Dabi looked blearily around as he saw the
Examining the actual hallway in what appeared to be an actual house. Mansion actually.“I don’t need ujiko.”
“Shigaraki killed him before we took over the mansion.” Jin whispered to him, frowning before a thought occurred to him. “Wait, did you actually believe that asshole? That we just- just handed you over?”
“It doesn't matter. I’ll be out of the League's hair as soon as I shower.” He jerked himself away from Jin, shaking off the hand that went to hold him steady. “I’m fine.”
“No. we would never do that!” Jin shouted as he hovered near him. “Shigaraki actually had to fight us on it. We couldn’t wait to get rid of you! We didn’t want to give you to him at all!”
“Then why did I wake up in his apartment? Drugged up with him telling me how you had led him right to me when he was the reason I had an infection in the first place?” He snapped at Jin as Shigaraki came around the corner. Another coughing fit starting up. His breathing made a whistling noise as he breathed with his agitated lungs.
“What’s going on?” Shig narrowed his eyes at the state of his second in command. Neck already itching. Dabi had not been looked after obviously.
Dabi glared at him but didn’t answer as he stalked off down the hall. Jin shook his head when Shigaraki looked at him.
“Kill the bastard.” He told Shigaraki as he lit a cigarette. “We were wrong, He’s a dick that never should have been near one of us. He told Dabi that we just gave him up. We might as well have.” He wandered off as he went to tell the rest of the League that Dabi was back, but it was up in the air whether he would be staying.
The next evening after Shigaraki and Dabi had spent most of the day arguing over how Dabi exactly had ended up with Hawks. How the League had been ready to split over him abandoning one of them. That the mansion was at least in part brought about by Dabi being immunocompromised.
Shigaraki grinned as Kuroguri opened a portal to the Hero’s apartment. He just wanted a few words with him.
“Are you sure you don’t want anyone to accompany you, Young Tomura?” Kuroguri asked as Shigaraki popped the buttons holding on his artist gloves.
“I was the one that pushed for it. I was the one who assumed that they were something they obviously were not.” Shigaraki bit out as he threw his gloves on the floor in front of him, stepping through the portal as he rolled his shoulders.
He wrinkled his nose at the minimalist apartment, the place was spotless like no one lived in it and Hawks was removing his Hero uniform. Back to Shigaraki, He took advantage and activated his quirk, grabbing a vase and hurling it at the Hero. Hawks wings had stiffened the moment Shigarki had moved. Suddenly aware of the Villain despite him not making a noise. Several loose feathers hovering in the air despite his wings being wrapped tight in casts on his back.
“You thought we wouldn’t come for him? That he didn’t have anyone?” He hissed as he stalked forward. Hawks dodged the vase disintegrating as it flew towards him. Sending a few feathers his way, Shigaraki grabbed them midair with all 5 fingers. Not caring or truly even feeling the cuts they left.
“You're the one who just expected me to take someone into my home and not have them pay for it like some sort of freeloader.” The Hero sneered at Shigaraki. “He liked it anyways, came back enough times if I promised him something in return.”
Shigarki ran for him, sliding under a table and more feathers as he touched the floor with bloody hands. The floor quickly started to crumble as he shoved himself into Hawks space. Snagging a chair by the leg as he came out the other side.
“We both know you need my connections and money too much to kill me Shigaraki. One man is not worth your whole operation.” he smirked with that stupid look on his face again. The face of a man who had so much more than the League did and like nothing could touch him.
Hawks, distracted by his floor crumbling and unused to fighting in an enclosed space while stationary, didn't expect the leg of what had once been a chair to clock him in his face. It crumbled in Shigaraki’s hands and dropping it he slammed both hands against Hawks ribcage. Continuing to push as Hawks struggled to get the control necessary to send one of his feathers for him. They hovered wavering in the air before falling to the ground.
“Go fuck yourself Hero. The League does not have replaceable members. We’re not Heroes.” He growled out as Hawks crumpled. Shoving a fist as hard as he could into the Heroes face and grinning with insane satisfaction as he felt teeth break. Shoving them and his fist towards the back of his throat. Hawks choked on his own teeth as he decayed slowly.
Shigaraki carefully rinsed his hands off in Hawks’ sink, hurrying as the apartment itself started crumbling to dust. Bending down near the dust pile he scooped the soft pile into a jar. Screwing a lid on,. Toga had taken the liberty earlier of decorating it with rhinestones and drops of blood before writing Hawks name elegantly on it. He would leave it outside his friend’s door. It wouldn’t fix his mistake but at least it might show he didn’t want Dabi to leave.

Botched Rescue (BnHA vore) 1/5
A/N: This contains some manga spoilers. Not a ton, but still some. M/mmm non-sexual vore with unwilling prey/fearplay
__________________________________
The hum of generators increased, getting louder and louder by the second. Izuku froze, his grogginess escaped him, and he shot up, suddenly alert. He squinted in the darkness; despite the buzzing of generators, he couldn’t actually see anything. The inky blackness before him was thick and suffocating. Izuku’s heart rate accelerated, and his arm hair prickled up. Something about the pitch darkness was extremely unnerving, he couldn’t explain it, but he knew nothing good laid ahead. The green-haired teen had a mass of questions: Where was he? Was he alone? What happened?
His head was both throbbing and spinning at the same time, Izuku kneeled over, trying to stabilize himself. All he could remember was that he was out on patrol with Endeavor, Bakugou, and Todoroki. There had been a call about a villain with a telekinetic quirk wreaking havoc nearby. Despite Endeavor’s initial reluctance to bring his interns along, he eventually obliged. He could remember the villain clear as day; after all, how often do you see a man donning a strainer on their head with knives taped on their knuckles? Izuku remembered Endeavor’s face when first laying eyes on the villain. He thought it was some sort of joke or just a homegrown villain, definitely didn’t seem affiliated with the LoV or the Liberation Army. What he didn’t expect was the influx of villains that had ambushed them after Strainer Head’s first attack. Izuku had recognized two from the League: Toga and Twice, but the rest were completely unknown. The trio was sorely outnumbered, and it was clear the villains used that to their advantage. Endeavor was trying to protect the interns while simultaneously fighting the villains that came after him. Quirk after quirk, it seemed after one person got defeated, another would take their place; it didn’t help that Twice had gotten more proficient with his clones as well. Izuku recalled somberly thinking, there’s no easy way we can win this fight. If a pro hero, the number one at that, is struggling at taking out all these villains, how can we defeat them all? They must’ve planned to use Strainer Head as a decoy and used him to center their attacks. We need to retreat and— The last thing he remembered before getting knocked out was a bright flashing light and a villain standing over him with a binding quirk.   A loud clang brought him back to reality, and the sudden flicker of a light switch nearly blinded Izuku. The teen squeezed his eyes shut for a moment before reopening to get them adjusted to the blaring lights. Once the fuzzy dots in his vision faded, the first thing Izuku noticed was that he was in some sort of oversized conference room, a whiteboard being the size of a football field and looming chairs weren't the subtlest of hints. Izuku’s eyes focused, the room was not only large and oversized but also slightly distorted, as if looking through a funhouse mirror lens. Panic wormed its way back to Izuku once realizing how out of scale his surroundings were. The door flew open and an unfamiliar man waltzed into the room, donning a mask over his eyes and a uniform; it wasn’t the unfamiliarity that worried Izuku; no, it was just the simple fact that the man was absolutely gigantic. As he grew closer, Izuku could finally see just how large this man was, easily around 20-30 feet, he wondered if he was dealing with a villain who held a size quirk. If Mountain Lady has a growth quirk, it can’t be that unlikely that another person would have something similar, possibly to alter himself and his surroundings? The fact that the room is slightly contorted could possibly be a side effect of his quirk as well. The man finally came to a stop right in front of Izuku. He felt his heart drop as he stared way up at the man who carried a nasty smirk, seemingly finding his entire situation amusing. “Have you figured out what’s going on yet, Midoriya Izuku?” the man’s booming voice held somewhat of taunting lilt, it was infuriating yet his fear was stronger. The first year was paralyzed, this had to be a ploy from the LoV, how else would they know his name and directly target him? He jumped once the man rested a hand on the table, gleaming green eyes taunting him. “Y’know, the big boss really wanted to kill you himself. But then, he heard the truth about your powers and well, the rest is history!” Izuku went rigid, Shigaraki knew where his power derived from? How? What would All Might say? But of course, the man continued monologuing. “Yeah, he decided the best way to shock All Might would be murdering his student and then finally going for his kill. After all, his primary goal has always been eradicating the symbol of peace, whatever happens to you really doesn’t matter, plus he’d finally get rid of One for All!” his grin widened, “But capturing the other two were pure luck. Who’d a known we’d also get that angry explosive kid and Endeavor’s son!” What does he mean? Did he kidnap Kacchan and Todoroki too? No…Where? He whirled around, finding himself face-first to an unconscious Bakugou and Todoroki. “Guys...?” he whispered, how could he miss them? Izuku crawled to his friends and placed a hand on the side of Bakugou’s motionless body, “Kacchan!” he shouted, trying to garner a reaction out of his childhood friend, but the sandy blond remained unconscious. He looked over to the right, heart thumped rapidly against his chest, Todoroki was the same way. Eyes squeezed shut with even breathing, Izuku unconsciously tightened his grip on the boy’s side once catching a glimpse at the mass of bruises that littered his body, but Shouto remained out cold. Izuku let out a heavy sigh, there was no chance they were going to wake up anytime soon. A chuckle disguised as a cough redirected his attention to the giant man before him. Izuku looked up at the villain with blazing eyes, “What did you do to them?” he demanded. The man looked taken aback; yet, the corners of his mouth tugged up, and he broke into hysterical laughter. “Oh-ho-ho! You really are something, aren’t you?” “What did you do to them?” he repeated, slowly growing sick of the villain’s games. Smirking as if he held the world’s secrets in his hands, the villain pulled up a chair and leered down at him, “You’re supposed to be smart, right? Figure it out, Midoriya.” Izuku surged forward intending to use Detroit Smash, but he stopped short once he noticed the lack of power coursing through his veins. He paused, no. I can still feel traces of One for All inside me, I just can’t use the ability. How…? Quirk erasing bullets? No, Eri is safe at U.A... Quirk suppressor cuffs? Aren't they often used on inmates, could they have gained ahold of some? But, I don’t feel the heaviness of those. Unless, he looked below and mentally slapped himself for not noticing sooner, of course, they stuck miniature quirk suppressors cuffs on our ankles. I had no idea those existed, I had thought they were normally big and bulky, not these small things. They must’ve knocked us out in the fight, kidnapped us, and stuck these bracelets on our ankles to ensure we couldn’t use our quirks, but— he gazed up at the villain, who was looking more and more irritated. Izuku slumped down, and his eyes widened, noting slipperiness of the floor: Everything finally clicked, we’re trapped in a jar. The slightly distorted room isn’t a side effect of his quirk, no, he shrunk us. Or someone else did, at least. We’reentirelyathismercy, evenmoresothanifhehadasizealteringquirk. Howcouldwe— The villain stared with now unamused eyes at the green-haired teen, still utterly unaware that his ‘silent’ thoughts had transcended to rapid mutterings. The villain groaned, “Just can it, kid.” Izuku immediately ceased his ramblings at the interruption and stepped closer to the cool glass, “I understand now,” he placed a hand on the smooth surface, “We’re shrunk, trapped in a jar, and you put quirk suppressants on us.” The villain gleamed, his former irritation wiped clean off his face, “Well well well, how’d you come to that conclusion?” Izuku didn’t answer, it wouldn’t make a difference. The villain was so much larger than him and he was already contained in the jar. The best he could do was break his fist through the glass, but then what? Get stepped on or crushed? He stood in the middle of the jar, between his unconscious friends, at a loss of what to do. Though evading the question, he took a deep breath, deciding to use the power of talking to get the villain distracted from Izuku’s former revelation.   “You said before, Shigaraki doesn’t care how we die, so why did you shrink us and kept us alive? Wouldn’t it have been easier if you killed us right then and there?” looking up at the villain’s piercing eyes, Izuku prayed he didn’t give him any ideas. The masked man laid his head down before the jar and Izuku scuttled back at the newfound closeness of the enemy. His lips curled up in blatant amusement. A predatory glint gave Izuku the notion that the man thought of their encounters as nothing but a game, “Ah, you misheard. I said Tomura wants you dead, did you actually think you would get a painless, meaningless way out? No, he wanted you to go down painfully and without a shred of dignity. We’re just getting the preparations best suited for All Might’s disciple~.” Before Izuku could answer, a tired groan interrupted them. Swiftly whirling around at the sound, Izuku came face first to a groggy Todoroki. “What happened?” the teenager said simply, slowly removing himself from the ground. He took one look at the gigantic villain before him and turned back to Izuku, “Oh. So, he shrunk and put us inside a jar,” Todoroki turned to face to villain, “Release us.” Izuku and the villain stood there completely dumbfounded. How did he even come to that conclusion? Both thought in unison. “Ah-aha, you got it much quicker than me, Todoroki!” Izuku being the first to break the silence. The duo quirk boy nodded and briefly glanced at the passed out Bakugou, “Yes…” he said briskly, “What do they want with us?” “Well—“ an obnoxious ring tone disrupted him and the villain above turned foot, his face twisted in annoyance, but he left the room quickly without saying much of anything. The teens blinked back at each other in disbelief. Now that there was no one guarding the room, they could try to escape! “Midoriya, try to slam your body on the glass. I’ll do the same.” Todoroki demonstrated by running back and slamming his body on the jar, it tilted the glass a bit. Izuku mimicked him. For a good five minutes, both boys were body slamming the glass, trying to make it topple over and break. A couple of times, the glass would tilt forward, but it always resumed its original position. “Dammit, we are too small. It’s not making a difference.” Todoroki slumped on the wall, thoroughly frustrated. Izuku slammed onto the glass once more, but it wouldn’t budge. He sighed, if they both had their quirks, they would have been able to break through the jar no problem. “We can do this, Todoroki! We can’t give up yet.” Todoroki stared at Izuku; his eyes still had a spark in them. He stood up and nodded, “Let’s do this.” Simultaneously, they both rammed into the glass. It wobbled a bit on its edge, the teenagers struggled to maintain their footing, but Izuku grinned at Todoroki. “See? It’s—“ Just as he spoke, the glass teetered back upright. Exhausted, they slid back and tossed their heads up. “We were close,” Todoroki stated, glancing back at the now anxiety-filled Izuku. “We can try again if you want?” Izuku sighed, the reality of the situation was crumbling on him once again. “It’s fine, we’re just going to die here. It’s fine.” Todoroki tilted his head, “What do you mean? Doesn’t the leader of the League want to kill you himself?” “No, he mentioned that Shigaraki wants me dead, painfully, but doesn’t care who does it. However…they could’ve killed me during the fight, or even now, that would be plenty painful. Why didn’t they?” The boys whipped their heads to see the door creak open. Izuku’s heart jumped to his throat, clutching onto Todoroki’s arm while holding his breath, he waited for the unknown.

Uraraka friends + friendship hc
Tumblr media
• Uraraka isn't "The popular girl" but everyone knows her and she knows everyone because she's soft, comforting and friendly. Also just a people-pleasing extrovert who charges by helping others. I wouldn't be surprised if she knew villains, realises it's them mid-fight and stops everything to talk them down from whatever crime they're doing. And even scarier, the villains listen. • She flirts with her friends endlessly but in a really vanilla way since it's all in good fun and it stays within boundaries, if they flirt back she will get very blushy and her forever-pink cheeks go red, but she doesn't stop, she just ups it while her whole face is blushing until she runs out of things to say and ends up shakily blowing a kiss and winking as she's processing all the nice things said.
• After the Sports Festival she asked Bakugou to spar. She wants to get better and she sees him as a goal, if she can solidly beat him in a fight then she can definitely know she's improved.
And I can easily imagine Bakugou agreeing, he wants to get better too and he respects others wanting to get better too. What he did not expect was she was learning to fight with knives and how stubborn she really is.
Well, he knew she was stubborn at the sports festival, if she could still move, even just barely, then she can still fight. He respects that even more. Both of these bitches need to learn to not push past their limits.
They goad each other so much. Uraraka can be mean when she wants to, saying things that probably aren't true but she knows she'll get a reaction out of it. She is terrified as she says it, but she knows this is what makes it challenging and the challenge is what she's here for. But usually she just says stuff like,
"How did I lose to you before? If you fight like this you have no chance of surpassing even Mineta,"
He is the only one who has seen her swear and no one believes him. It pisses him off exponentially.
• Her love language is quality time but also gift-giving which sucks because she is very poor. She actually becomes friends with Hatsune Mei from the support class as they both like to come up with creative and tailored ways to help individual people and come up with stuff they like!
After they become friends, Mei's latest inventions always have a hint of Uraraka in them, be they pink, somehow more adventurous than anything Mei could come up with on her own, or suspiciously some glitter thrown here and there.
When Mei is building stuff, Uraraka just sits there and listens to her ramble and work, she paints little hello kitty faces on desks, machines and even screws, it's basically her trademark.
• She has multiple alarms on her phone. As well as Iida's "good morning" messages at 5AM, she has alarms for 7am. 7:01am, 7:02am, 7:03am, 7:04am, 7:05am, 7:0- curse living far away so she has to take the train, or she'd be able to sleep in longer. but she always lets Iida know she does appreciate the sentiment. • She absolutely steals from the school cafeteria. Have you seen all that fancy expensive food? She won't steal much, just what she needs and it's the extra food that no one misses. Either she makes a deal with the chef about letting her have some leftovers or the chef would have no idea she's doing it. Even if they noticed some food missing, who's really going to suspect the cute pink bubbly friend-shaped Uraraka? Anyone else who's poor. That's who.
• She's not the mum friend, she's the aunt friend who will make sure everyone is safe and sound before doing something questionably illegal but since it's questionable she can plead ignorance.
• She and Iida get on very well despite being very different. They're both very nice, stubborn, emotional and passionate people yes, but Iida has no idea what the hell she is saying when she quotes memes. She's poor and a teenager, of course she goes to the internet for serotonin
"Uraraka I do not recall locating the barbeque condiment on your chest, what do you mean?"
"who is 'Deez' do I know them? You talk a lot about their nut collection, which is it almonds? peanut?"
"URARAKA THROWING ME THE PRINTER WHEN I ASKED FOR MY LOCKER KEYS IS RECKLESS AND DANGEROUS."
Poor boy went out "on the town" with her and they stopped at Mcdonalds, he looked completely out of place he had no idea what was happening, he just kept looking to Uraraka for guidance why there was a plastic figurine of a character from a recent movie among his food items. • She snorts when she laughs and she used to be really embarrassed by it but one day Mina and Tsuyu heard it while they were hanging out in her room and they found it so adorable they kept making her laugh to try to hear it again. She snorts more now, everyone is happy with this development.
• She has made plans before to mug Iida. In a friendly way of course. She would mug Momo but Momo loves gift giving and gives Uraraka pretty much anything she asks for anyways Momo is called "Sugar-Mommy in Uraraka's contacts. She was planning to mug Shouto before he joined the dekusquad and she found out he has a piece of shit dad and instead steals Enji's credit card.
She pays her bills with Endeavours money.
She also fucks around with it, like orders an entire truckload of All Might merch to be delivered to Endeavour, she changes every password she can, hires people to "re-decorate" Endeavours room to an All-Might-Stans-Fever-Dream and Endeavour was about to hound Shouto about it until he realises he's been inside nearby all day and would never have had a chance to order any of this.
Any money she doesn't spend on her family or herself, she spends on her friends.
• She probably has multiple part-time jobs. She helps her dad at his workplace, floating construction beams when the machines break down and helping where she can. But she doesn't get paid for that.
She does work at a small shop (Lidl is you're British, 7/11 if you're American) by the side of a gas station and she remembers all the employees birthdays and makes them little glittery cards.
• Eventually she works with Tsuyu at a cafe, they actually learn great communication skills there. They make secret signals that mean a certain table needs attention, "this guy is an angry customer, be careful" or someone needs a refill. All of them are of course subtle and it makes them feel like spies with secret missions it's great. These signals carry over into their training too. Everyone, even Aizawa at one point thought they somehow had a telepathic link, that let them know who was behind them or what was a threat the other couldn't have known about, where to go, how quick to go there it was madness.
They also cover each other's shifts without question when they know the other needs the day off. :3
• She makes a point to be soft, it's friendly and approachable, it helps people trust her. Don't get her wrong, she loves cute things, it makes her feel nice and safe, it's familiar and she wants to replicate that feeling, she wants to be able to walk into a room and have people smile because their hearts grow warm. She wants to laugh and giggle and joke with people, she wants to be a walking safe-space people can go to for comfort. She wants to be the hero you go to not only when you're in danger, but when you just need some comfort. She's a rare hero. She's a good one too.
• And when someone makes fun of her for being soft, she can't help but laugh. She apologises for laughing but she finds their ignorance so funny. It takes a lot to be soft and kind, it takes a special kind of person. In this world? In this world villains are a threat to everyone, heroes get corrupt, families are forced out of homes, quirk injustice and discrimination runs rampant, the kids who are too brave, dumb, stupid or desperate for their own good become child-soldiers/heroes, people, good people who try to provide for others the only way they know how, the only way left since legal society won't help them and then get called a villain for it. She's seen it. The fights, the homes destroyed, the families ignored and hushed, the horrible, horrible world. But she won't let that change her.
The world is harsh and cold, that doesn't mean she has to be. She'll be soft in spite of the world, no matter how hard the laws push to divide and destroy and make you rely on them and only them, Uraraka knows the darkness there is in society, in humanity. but more than that she knows she is too stubborn to let that win.
So she enjoys her pink fluffy pillows, enjoys the makeup that she can afford, the sparkly dresses, the cute hairpieces, the hello kitty stationary, her pink rounded hero costume, she'll be friendly to everyone, she'll be nice and kind and thoughtful to everyone, she wants to make the world a safer but also happier place to live in.
Plus when they mistake her kindness for naivety, the best catharsis she gets is when she knocks that smug look off peoples faces for underestimating her..

Tristful ||Angst || Dabi x reader
Tumblr media
Reader: Gender Neutral
Character: Dabi x Reader (Romantic) Toga x Reader (platonic) LoV x Reader (platonic)
Warnings: Death, mention of self harm, possible OOC characters, Platonic affection between an adult and a minor.
Summary: The league of Villains remember you a year after your death, and two are still dealing with the pain of you being gone.
A/N: I don’t know why Dabi is the one getting the attention, but he is. Welcome to the first true angst that was written at 4:30AM after some serious crying.
3/15. One of the worst days for the League of Villains. Toga would be crying all day, Magne would be doing her best to help comfort Toga, Shigaraki would be a bit more irritable, and Dabi would be completely absent. Shigaraki had managed to find Dabi though after hearing a voice that he didn’t think he would hear ever again.
“Hey baby! I know you might think this is stupid since yknow, I’m working and Boss would kill me if he saw me on my phone, but I wanted to let you know that I’ll be coming home a bit later tonight.”
Shigaraki had remembered you. How you managed to befriend everybody in the league with your natural charisma as well as your singing that filled the halls. Sure, he may have scolded you for it before, but he didn’t mean it. It was like you both knew that deep down, so you never stopped singing. His heart ached a little as he listened again once your voice picked up again.
“They’re on your tail too by the way. I’d stay indoors for a while and let me handle everything that involves going in public. I don’t think I could handle having you taken from me.”
Then you laughed. The same laugh that you did when you were stressed, but trying to hide it. It was obvious that under your happy persona you put on for your hero work, you were deeply troubled. Some nights ended up with you breaking down to different members of the league, but the main two that helped you through it all was Dabi and Toga. Thanks to you, the two found comfort in each other when you were gone.
“Anyway, I’ll let you go darling. Be as good as you can be. At least until I get home-” “Hey! Get back to work!” “S-Sorry sir! Calling my roommate to make sure that I didn’t leave the oven on.”
The voice of the eldest Todoroki boomed through the speakers before it cut off, a sigh coming from Dabi before the creek of the bed. Shigaraki could only guess what the other was thinking, so he just knocked to alert the other before walking in. He was met with Dabi laying on his back, staring at the ceiling blankly.
“You okay?”
“Want an honest answer or the one you want to hear?”
Shigaraki scoffed and rolled his eyes before moving to stand by the bed. “You’re of no good use to me when you’re all mopey like this. Kinda depressing honestly.” He snapped while the other promptly flipped him off. Shigaraki smiled a little before sitting on the edge of the bed. “They would hate to see you like this.-” “Yeah and I sure fucking hate not having them here to yell at me for it.” Dabi huffed and rubbed at his eyes before sitting back up. “Believe it or not, but I miss them too. I miss our bickering and how they would sing at ungodly hours. I miss how they would play fight in the bar with Toga. I miss their contagious laughter, but all we can do now is continue for our goal. A world where Heroes get what they deserve when they harm the innocent. A world where people like us don’t have to worry. A world where-” “A world where innocent people don’t get murdered and then the murderer is praised for it.” Dabi sighed and moved to run his hands through his hair. “Exactly. A world where Endeavor gets what he deserved. He found out, and he didn’t hold back.”
They both remembered that day. They remembered seeing it on the news in Kurogiris’ bar that Endeavor had found another member of the League of Villains. Not really a big deal since they assumed it was just another pawn, but when they disclosed your name, quirk, and status, they were all in shock. They framed you to be a traitor, the bad person when in reality, you were the most “Normal” one out of everybody. You had no Ill intentions when you gave them the information they wanted, yet they praised Endeavor for “Subduing the threat.” Little did they all know, you wouldn’t wake up from the coma he put you in. In their mind, they murdered you.
The worst part was that they couldn’t really get in to see you. Sure, Kurogiri would sneak them in to see you for short periods, but they were no longer than 5 minutes due to the risk of somebody walking into the room. Toga managed to go in one day during visiting hours, holding your hand and talking to you until visiting hours ended. Nobody would've believed that it was the bloodthirsty girl from her appearance alone since her blonde hair was down, her eyes were bloodshot and red from crying, and her normally loud voice was barely a whisper. When the doctors asked her about your relationship with her, she just smiled a little, wiped her tears, and said you were their best friend. She left you a few gifts and kissed your forehead before blinking away tears as she thanked the nurses for doing their best as she left the room. When she got back to the hideout, she just locked herself in her room and didn’t respond to anybody. It wasn’t the first true loss in her life, but it was the most painful. Her cries and screams for you didn’t fall on deaf ears either since it wasn’t an unfamiliar sight for somebody to walk through with wet eyes.
The day you were announced dead had to be one of the most depressing. Details of your funeral that was being held for anybody to attend flashed on the television before going back to what was playing originally. Despite the day being grey and rainy, everyone in the league went to see you one last time and wish you goodbye. When they saw your plain casket, Twice made a comment about how you deserved better before snapping about how it was lame as hell. Nobody minded though since they knew he couldn’t help it. Toga wiped her tears as they approached the casket before sighing softly. She clutched the stuffed bear you had given her tight in her hands before choking back a sob. This was unfair. Why did everybody she love get taken away from her? Her hand softly rest on the wood before choking back another sob. She wanted to hold you again. She wanted to hug you again and have you tell her that everything would be okay, but the hand of Magne broke her out of her delusions as she broke down in tears again, falling to the ground and screaming out in pain. Magne was quick to hug her to her chest, trying to comfort the young girl the best she could despite her own tears.
Shigaraki did feel a bit numb to the situation, but he had been finding his mind wondering to you as time went on. Now that your casket was in front of him, he couldn’t help but find himself missing you a little more. One by one, everybody left their gifts for you before going back to the hideout to grieve in private. By the end, the only ones left were Dabi, Shigaraki, and Kurogiri. None of them spoke, just standing in the rain until Dabi broke the silence. “Come back for me in five. I need time alone with them.” The two agreed before leaving Dabi alone with only your casket and his thoughts.
He moved to sit in front of the wooden box for a minute before he just choked out a chuckle, covering his eyes as he found them watering. “Why?” He asked out loud before shaking his head again. “Why the FUCK must he take everything from me?” Dabi asked out loud as he felt the rage wash over him. He already hated Endeavor for everything he had done in his past, but now he took you too. He quickly wiped away the tears before he grabbed his hair, tugging on it softly to mimic how you would rake your hands through his hair to calm him from his nightmares. “I thought you said you wanted to figure shit out? That we would make it past all of this and that neither one of us would leave? You fucking coward, You broke that goddamn promise!” He didn’t mean it, but he knew he was speaking to the world more than anything else. “Goddamn it...We were supposed to make it to the end…” He leaned back in his chair before looking at the casket again. “You got my fucking hopes up...for a future I don’t deserve.” he sighed and shook his head again. “And you didn’t deserve this either.” He wiped off the scarred burns under his eyes, the staples burning a bit from the tears but it was oddly comforting. After sitting for a moment, he heard Kurogiri behind him again. He simply sighed before standing to pull out the velvet box from his pocket. “Wherever you are, I hope you’re not hurting anymore.” he sat the box down on the lap of Togas bear, staring at it for a moment before sighing. “Maybe one day...we can be normal. Have a family together...like we promised.” he said before placing his hand on the wood just as Toga did before. “I’ll watch her too...So don’t worry.” He moved to kiss the top of the box before pulling away. “I love you doll...I think I always will.” he chuckled sadly and started walking away, sighing as he walked through the portal with Kurogiri following after.
The next few weeks were hard. Dabi had kept his promise to you and kept an eye on Toga, finding her passed out one day after she had a large fit which resulted in her hurting herself with her knives. Luckily they had a spare medkit and you had taught him how to do basic first aid. Slowly, Shigaraki had managed to create a new task for the league and everybody slowly got back on their feet. It was what you would have wanted anyway. Yet at your one year death date, here everyone was all gloomy.
Dabi sighed once more before looking at his phone, speaking to Shigaraki once more. “I have a ton of voice mails from them saved. I have all of our texts. I have videos and pictures of them. Sometimes, it just feels like they were here yesterday.” He sighed as the other man just nodded. “Yeah...I still find myself thinking of them. It’s not the same, but one day it’ll all be worth it.” Dabi slowly nodded before another soft knock was at the door, the blonde slowly walking in before noticing Shigaraki already inside. “Oh...Sorry for barging in. I uh...Just was going to ask to steal one of their shirts for the night and maybe ask for you to just...Hold me for a bit.” She sighed and shook her head, rubbing at her puffy eyes. Dabi slowly got up and nodded, walking to the closet to pick out your favorite large shirt before tossing it to Toga. She took it and smiled a little at the memories. “Uh...Thanks. I’ll come back when you’re done talking.” She said as she smiled a little at them. Shigaraki sighed and stood. “Nah, I think we are done. You both need to rest anyway. Recover as much as you can and remember, this is motivation.” Dabi rolled his eyes before sighing. “Sure, now leave us alone you fucking raisin.” Toga couldn’t help but chuckle at Dabi’s retort as Shigaraki rolled his eyes. “I’ll see you both tomorrow.” He waved before leaving the room. Toga sighed and tossed off her shirt, knowing Dabi didn’t care since he saw her as more of a sister than anything else, before pulling on your shirt.
“Do you think that we could leave flowers on their grave tomorrow? I wanna talk to them and catch them up to speed since we haven’t talked in over a year.” Toga spoke before moving to lay in Dabi’s bed as the other stripped off his jacket. “Sure, we can do that. I bet they’ll appreciate it.” She hummed as Dabi laid next to her before she curled up against his chest, sighing at his warmth before hugging him a bit tighter. His hand played with her blonde locks before he yawned, moving to kiss her head softly. “You know they loved you right?” Toga asked which only got a chuckle from Dabi. “Yeah. Y’know that we had plans to adopt you after we won against the heroes?” Her eyes shot open and she sat up a little. “Really?!” He simply nodded and pulled her back down. “We thought you would want a family that cared. So they brought up adoption, and I agreed.” Toga felt her eyes water before she moved to snuggle in his chest again. “I would’ve loved that…” She sniffled before hugging him tighter. “I wouldn’t have been able to ask for a better family…” Dabi simply sighed and went back to playing with her hair. “Well...I’ll still adopt you when this is all over. Just give it some time?” She nodded and felt herself growing sleepy. “Okay…” He hummed and continued to pet her, watching as she slowly fell asleep snuggling into his chest.
He couldn’t help but shut his eyes and sigh. When he met this brat, she was just some girl who was crazy, yet now he was holding her and speaking of adoption. You would’ve adored seeing how close the two had gotten and how they trusted each other. For a moment, he felt like you were watching from wherever, smiling at the sight and praising him. He could almost hear it as he pulled Toga closer, holding her protectively. “It’ll all be okay…” He reassured the sleeping girl. “We got this...We will make it through for them.”
