I'm just going to leave this at that #This was inspired by a dream I had about watching a post-apocalyptic(?) anime movie about two survivors going through their lives #Apologies if that one was yapped before in this blog. Trying to keep repeating statements already mentioned before is a habit I hope to avo #Anyway. It was almost a dialogue-less movie. actually not sure if the characters did say anything #The movie doesn't explain stuff to you. You just got dropped in a world and experience with the main characters for a few days #In the dream after watching that movie I went to Tumblr (naturally. Lol) and theories about it popped out #And there was a connverse cross-over fanart of it. Lmao #One of the main characters was EXTREMELY calm and stoic. And the connverse AU version of it was that's because Steven is in a comma and his #Pink mode activated as a defense mechanism against the creatures around while in such a state. 😭 So Pink Steven from Change Your Mind #And like. Oh? What if he's conscious? He's just watching his body have a mind of it's own and he can't control it? That's kinda terrifying #And of course like most of my dreams about shows I enjoy. honestly i really appreciate the writers of rtte stretching the rating as far as they could, now more than ever, because i can't believe how refreshing it is to hear words like "kill" and "death" and "tortured" just be said instead of it being censored away

#also them putting in darker themes and dark humor #its fantastic #especially because they do it RIGHT you know?#it doesnt feel forced in or overly in your face #it fits with the characters and in the themes of the story #like the plague episode?? all the mentions of death??#krogun just straight up kills a whole bunch of people #hiccup gets punched a LOT #and honestly the writers 100% would have made it more ''graphic'' if it wasnt for:#a) the animation budget. it really did impact them which is a shame #b) the rating. cant show too much blood or injuries ey #i love that show #httyd #how to train your dragon #rtte #race to the edge

QSMP artists who draw the eggs as African, or Afro-Latina, or Arab/Middle Eastern, I love you. QSMP artists who draw Chayanne with 4c hair wound back in braids and dark skin, I love you. QSMP artists who draw Pomme with a dark complexion and a hijab, I love you. QSMP artists who draw Empanada as East/Southeast Asian, or wasian, or a mix between Asian and Latina, I love you. QSMP artists who draw Tilín with white hair, or darker skin, or features that match up with Luzu's a bit more, I love you. QSMP artists who draw the eggs with varying body types and clothing styles and poses, I love you.

I know that your designs might be uncommon, and they might not fit the quote unquote 'fandom norm', but they're so cool to see. Some of my favorite fanart has been with QSMP eggs that don't look like the typically design-and while the typical design is still absolutely lovely, don't feel like you need to conform to it. The eggs have no canon design. They have widely spread fanon ones, but those are only common because we, the fans, made them common. Draw what you'd like, because it's incredible to watch from the sidelines as casual competitive fanart reblogger.

AUUUU STOP THIS MOMENT WAS ADORABLE AND SWEET AND PRECIOUS AND MY HEART MELTED FOR THEMMMMM 😭💕

(lots of writing under the ‘read more’ btw incase you want my personal thoughts on things!)

Before the episode started I has been bracing myself for the genocide route, but it seem like what we ended up getting was the pacifist route because NEVER would I have anticipated such an empathetic twist??? I was dead convinced that my hopes/dreams of Puzzle redemption were squandered and left to rot (they probably still are to some degree actually lol but oh well I can accept that he’s a lovable psycho). And yet this episode does the impossible….giving us an unfathomably wholesome scene that helps heal his dejected inner child, even just a little. PLEASE this wasn’t something I was prepared for and it’s gotten such a strong grip on my heartstrings right now. I love themmmmm holy shittttt <33

I didn’t think Meggy would step up and try to connect with him like that especially since she was so aggressively defensive when he initially reached out. And I like that even when she gets to speak to Little/Kid Puzzles her behavior is very stern at first lol. Kinda like a disappointed older sister who can’t be bothered to put up with him for too long. But using Leggy as a way to build that bridge again was so clever of her—and hey it helped lure him into false sense of security so he’d get jailed up jskjsksp. Everyone wins I guess!! ALSO can I just say whoever composed the soundtrack (Zach Preciado for the rap segment specifically) deserves just as much praise as the voice actors because DAYM the layering of all those instruments and the seamless transitions into different emotional tones was superb :))

most interesting phenomenon is when someone makes selfship art with a completely normal looking character from a normal universe (like no supernatural stuff, advanced technology etc) and then the person's self insert is like. Just off the walls random in design.
