when I met my boyfriend, I didn't want a relationship because I knew I wasn't fit for one. And I have been silently struggling for many many months, because I don't know how to feel normal in a healthy relationship. It's uncomfortable and scary sometimes. Some days I feel like I'm spiraling. Some days I feel like I'm incapable. Some days I create a problem just because I needed chaos. Sonshine, tonight is your first night at bootcamp. I’m just getting ready to go to bed. It’s 2130 here, so 0030 on 2/13 there.

As I’m sliding into my warm, cozy bed it is very hard for me, as your mother, to know you do not have these comforts and that someone is yelling at you, maybe putting you down, that you’re tired. It shreds my heart.

I can’t think on it too long or the grief chokes me, my eyes burn and I feel like I’m suffocating.

Just like you have to remember that it is 9 weeks and it is a means to an end… I do too. I love and miss you. I’ll see you on the flippedy flop, my boy.
