There's a bit of confusion here, I'm going to answer many of your questions but I may not post the ask itself, hopefully it'll make sense :)

When I started my blog I was heavily anti endo and I specifically posted bad pro/endo takes, debunking or just laughing. To this day, most of it is still pretty hilarious. I wasn't focused on cringe, but totally crazy, out there claims that made zero sense and were flat out wrong. Check out my tags #shit endos say, #shit singlets say, and my newest tag, #shit anti endos say, I hope you have a laugh at a couple of them.

In my pinned post, you'll see the thing that started it all. A pro endo saying that sysmeds are sexist.

I would also like to know how they came to that conclusion. I'm right there with you. Also like you, I still have many issues with the pro/endo community. I believe CDDs are trauma based disorders. I post research pretty much weekly about it (check out #debunk and #research). I think endogenic plurality and CDDs are completely different things.

And you know what, my pro endo friends support me. We're all learning. I'm kind with my opinion, I'm open to talking about it, we debate, we share resources, we change our views and adjust based on new info.

This blog corrects misinformation from both sides, now. Some of it is worse than others. Antis can and do spread just as much misinformation as pro/endos.

What I would encourage you to do is start with the multiple selves theory. It actually developed right alongside Freud's theories on hysteria (which included early versions of CDDs at the time), and if Freud hadn't been such a perv, it might actually be much more well-known. It's a nonpathological theory on consciousness and philosophy. People have been describing this phenomenon for a very long time, "endogenic" is just the newest term for it. Here's a couple examples.

Like I said, though, you can find this stuff as far back as the 50s with ease, anything older might take a bit more digging, but it's not a small or new theory.

I think an overlap in language has created a lot of confusion, but it's really not out of the realm of possibility for people to be more in tune with these parts of themselves. It's been documented for over a century outside of psychology, in other areas of research-- anthropology, philosophy.

I'm going to be honest, I don't think a single one of the headmate sale blogs are real. I think they're antis trying to start shit. Like maybe one out of every ten is actually someone misguided behind the screen.

Even CDD systems still incorrectly believe in core theory, endogenics picked it up from us and don't know any better. System resets aren't real, but there are real experiences that can FEEL like a reset-- try being patient and educating people. Ignore the others, because some people just can't be helped, and you're better off spending your time spreading good, accurate posts than arguing with people who don't want to learn anything.

We don't really have "specific blogs" around here as per se. There's @sleepanonymous who's the resident Librarian/Archivist/Knowledge Keeper, and then there are some blogs that do exclusively fanart and fanfiction.

Otherwise we're all a mix of everything. Most of us do a mix of lore theories / analysis / fanart / shitpost. Since the band itself doesn't have an "actual" set lore, you'll find a lot of different takes for the same songs / themes. I think we all have our own takes on the storyline, so it's really nice to read everyone's different opinions. Please feel free to join the conversation!

They're 50:50 on this. On the one hand it goes against their religion and they don't wanna disappoint Anderson, on the other hand this sounds like so much fun??

In the end they'll tag along, claiming that they are only here for your protection. You'll go trick-or-treating with the orphans without the nuns knowledge, and later on sneak out to visit a party. Not the first time they do something forbidden, you later learn.

Those two will get wrecked and you'll see a whole new side of them. They're dancing, making silly jokes, cling to you and proclaim how much you mean to them. Either they really got a mental blackout or they'll just act like they don't remember the next day.

Will absolutely get in trouble and argue a lot with other guests unprovoked. The guy complimenting Yumie's 'sexy nun costume' regrets it to this day.

Maxwell:

Oh, he'll be the biggest nag. Hates holidays, hates children, hates anything and anyone. This is beneath him, this is immature and stupid, the list is endless. He'd definetly do whatever you ask of him but he will be a bitch about too.

Acts annoyed the whole time but is actually having so much fun, his inner child is thriving. He was secretly afraid to involuntarily ruin the mood, but you tolerate his attitude so well that he actually gets over himself and comes out of his shell a lil' bit.

Finds himself enjoying to coddle the children, much to his surprise. Compliments their costumes, at least in his wry indirect way. Doesn't have any sweets so he'll give them money lol, they ain't complaining.

Anon, as far as I am aware, there is no *one* big masterlist.

Several people in this fandom have made their own rec lists over time, of course, from the very beginning. (The older they are, unfortunately, the higher the chance that some links might not work anymore, but you can still try them out!) I have a "fic rec" tag on my main blog (linked in case you want to know the source; that tag contains other fics too, not just Bering and Wells, but all of them femslash), and here are some Bering and Wells specific lists that I've found going through it:

I myself am trying to assemble recs on an individual basis. Almost a year ago, I tried to make a list of what has been already recommended through this post, but now that is way out of date, of course.

Beyond these lists, the usual tips for AO3 and Tumblr apply (under a readmore for length):

when you found a fic you liked, click on the author's name and see what else they've written for the ship/fandom, see if you like those too

check if that author's bookmarks are public; those are fics that they liked, and maybe you'll like them too

and then with those fics, you can go to *those* authors' profiles and see what else *they* have written - and so on.

Don't forget to bookmark and/or download these fics so that you can find them again. You need to have a user profile yourself to bookmark fics (and that's not the only advantage; I highly recommend it - and remember, you can set your bookmarks to private if you want).

also, please please consider leaving kudos and comments on fics that you've liked - a lot of authors are still active in the fandom/for the ship, and kudos and comments always help us *stay* active, because they tell us that people still enjoy what we create. Even if the specific fic in question is from the early days of the fandom, kudos and comments are always welcome.

same goes for reblogs on Tumblr, be it the above lists, individual fic rec posts, or posts from the authors themselves with or about their stories.

some authors with a Tumblr blog also have a dedicated "my fics" tag or link on those blogs. Always worth clicking through from an individual Tumblr post to the author's blog, and seeing if something like that is on it - and if the author is still actively writing, consider giving them a follow (and reblogging their fic posts; I've heard from so many authors that their fic posts barely get any reblogs at all to spread the word)

I hope that all or at least some of these tips are helpful to you, Anon - there is a lot of great stuff out there, and you're right, it can be a bit daunting to figure out where to start. I'm not on either "side" and never have been. I'm just another enthusiastic fan that loves Carol and Daryl. Since joining the Tumblr fandom just before the pandemic (I was a lurker for many years), I've been using my own critical thinking skills and knowledge of AMC's shenanigans to form my own opinions.

I'm confident in TBOC because I believe there are concrete reasons that support how I'm feeling, from Melissa's return, to filming spoilers and rumors, to Tribeca and SDCC. You're free to agree or disagree with my interpretation of these facts, and to feel positive or negative about it.

I also continue to believe that AMC/Gimple hijacked the original caryl spinoff to highlight the richonne spinoff because it follows similar decisions made before to give Rick more screen time at the expense of all the other TWD characters. I believe Melissa had no choice but to opt out of the original spin-off and negotiate new terms to ensure that Carol's (and therefore Caryl's) story was respected and told with integrity. To me, that's why there were things to be sorted out, as she said, and why she lengthily discussed Carol with Zabel and co. even before scripts for the France spinoff were written. She was involved since the beginning, yes, but she only signed on when she got what she wanted. There is no greater supporter of Carol than Melissa and we have known this for years. I'm glad she's back in her own terms. I believe it was a pretty difficult time for her, as she expressed it by basically refusing to promote 11C or the series finale, and by not saying anything about the whole mess on SM, while other cast members/friends such as Laurie Holden and Khary Payton spoke out in her behalf.

I believe AMC tried to make money off just Daryl because he's their original character and it backfired in their faces. They also made a mistake using Norman to save face as he should have been protected from the SM backlash. Norman has never been a reliable narrator and I always take every thing he says with a grain of salt, but I don't think he's intentionally malicious. I appreciate how much he loves Daryl and is considerate of his fans, even when I don't approve of his behavior. I just wish he would keep his frustrating mouth shut. I believe Norman had lots of input in S1 and that he initially thought he could pull it off without Melissa. But there's no Daryl without Carol and no Carol without Daryl. It's crystal clear how much Norman's happy for having Melissa by his side, and how much they love each other and are excited for S2. I'm glad they are reunited, both for them and for us, but I believe everything worked out in the end because Melissa didn't give up on getting what she wanted. I believe she had lots of inputs in S2 and is satisfied and happy with the final result.

So, that's how I believe things have gone these last two years. Again, feel free to agree or disagree with my interpretation of facts. None of us will ever know exactly what happened, but each of us can decide what to believe based on our own judgment of the facts. That's what I do and will continue to do.

In the end, for me, the important thing is that Melissa and Norman are happy and that Carol and Daryl get their hard-earned happy ending. It's everything I ever wanted and I'm going to enjoy it. I hope you enjoy it too.

So on the topic of stolen gifs, what would you suggest for someone who wants to use reaction gifs within the fandom? They're really hard to search for on tumblr, especially if they're part of a set or if you want to use a particular character. Genuine question because that used to be much more of a thing on tumblr (responding to posts with funny reaction gifs), and it wasn't really frowned upon as long as long as it was a reaction and not, like, just a post to try to get likes/notes etc. I don't want to steal from artists but also like to save funny gifs to respond to stuff with... I'm willing to stop though, if it hurts creators.

you're talking about using one gif from a 911 gifset as a reaction? right? i get that properly embedding gifs can be difficult, i'm sure you know to search for the tags in the original post? but yeah even then it can be kind of difficult to find exactly the gif you want if op is using generic tags. but unfortunately i would still say that this is pretty much your only option, unless you get specific permission from the gifmaker to repost their gif. but also, here is another way to embed gifs. it's a lot more time consuming and not as accessible because you need a computer, but you can do it with any gif you want.

i would also just like to take this opportunity to say that i number all my gifs, and my 911 gifs are tagged 9111, 9112, etc all the way to my last one 91164. i did this because i like to track stuff but i recently found out that if you search for any of those tags my gifs will be the first and in many instances the only ones that show up. so feel free to post my gifs that way!

also, i literally just had this idea while writing this answer, but if the problem is that the reaction gifs are difficult to find, i could like.... take requests for reaction gifs? and tag them with something super specific like 911reaction1 or whatever so you'll find them easily. like idk if the demand is even that big lmao but if people want i truly don't mind doing that work if that means less people have their gifs stolen

Hello! I just went through your art tag and your art is really cool! I love the way you use bright colors but in a soft kinda way and your line art is GREAT! Love the robots you draw too! One question though. How do you find the motivation to keep drawing your oc's? I never see your oc art get more than 5-12 likes and 2 reblogs maximum from what I've seen. How do you find the motivation to stay so passionate about drawing them with such little interaction? Not trying to be rude, it's a skill I'm trying to get myself. I rely too much on post numbers and get very discouraged and unmotivated when a drawing flops. Any advice? Again, your art is awesome btw! Followed!

Hi anon! Thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you like my art, I put a lot of effort into stuff like the coloring and line-art stages, so it makes me happy that you like those aspects specifically! And YES!!! ROBOTS ARE SO COOL!!!

To answer your question, I just really REALLY love what I draw! Is my art perfect, of course not! There's always room for improvement, but that doesn't change how I still absolutely LOVE my OCs! I love drawing them and sharing them no matter how low the notes are. I'll try my best to put it into words.

While it's really easy to feel unnoticed, you gotta draw what makes YOU happy! Nothing you create can ever really "flop" because YOU made something! Fuck how social media brainwashed us into thinking low interaction numbers means no one cares. I'll tell you how I stay motivated, hear me out.

I think about it this way. Let's say on a good day, my OC art gets 20 likes. Imagine sitting in a room with 20 people, and they all like your original characters/art! Think about a classroom, for example. 20 people in a classroom is pretty full, and they love my work! They liked it enough to save it to look at again later! They bookmarked it into a specific tab so it's even easier to find again! Dude, that ROCKS!!!

Now let's say a drawing gets 7 likes tops. Imagine you're sitting at a kitchen table with 7 people. People have to bring over extra chairs, and they like your original stuff and let you know! And again, they liked it enough to save it for later again! Suddenly it feels more substantial, right? As soon as you remember that behind the screen there's an actual human person, the numbers stop being just numbers.

And well, that's how I think about it! Draw what makes you happy and tell the stories you want to tell! Don't associate low numbers with an empty space, because that space isn't empty! People DO enjoy your art, and the proof is right in the number you're discrediting. If you're drawing specifically for high numbers, you'll probably feel let down. If your drawing for yourself, any amount of interaction is a welcomed bonus! Give yourself some credit, and let yourself feel positive about it! It's ok, I promise.

Honestly? Valid choice. I've gone on record about my own choice to tag for both "RWBY" and "RWDE," but to be frank I think "RWDE" is a borderline useless tag. RWDE folks have never agreed on what should go in there. Non-RWDE folks have definitely never agreed on what should go in there. It was created as an absurd way to divide the fandom between (incredibly subjective) Good Content and Bad Content, with the result that this actively undermines the purpose of posting on tumblr: for new people to see your stuff. Most of us recently saw that post with someone understandably asking what in the world RWDE was... as well as some of the top answers that provided an incredibly biased, borderline lying definition. Unlike something like "RWBY Critical" that both tells newcomers what it is and does so in a neutral way (these are posts that are critical of RWBY and the tag itself gives no indication as to whether that's a good or bad thing), "RWDE" is nonsensical to anyone not already in the know and is a RWBY-fied version of a very negative word: "rude." Despite most of us embracing that, it's still a tag designed to turn newcomers off.

So how is anyone supposed to find like-minded community members when our main tag doesn't follow any other tagging conventions, is framed as a negative from the get-go, and polite questions are immediately met with the more intense fans painting the worst picture possible? That was always the point. RWDE isn't "We just want you to have your own space where we don't have to engage" it's "We want to make this as difficult as possible so eventually you'll just leave." So... yeah. I use it because I know it will hit an already established core group actively looking for the kind of content I write, but I 100% understand you and others going, "Why would I use that? The fandom has been trained to block on sight. That's not going to help other people see my work on the Let Other People See My Work site."

I think I've said this before, but I want to do a version of those wine social experiments. You know the ones where they take super duper cheap wine, stick a fancy label on it, tell people it's the Most Expensive Vintage Ever, and watch them wax poetic on how absolutely stunning the taste is? Give RWBY fans a post without tags/blog name (or, to follow the pattern, with misleading tags/blog names), watch as many people agree with the points made -- or at least consider them seriously -- and then go, "Aha! This was a RWDE post all along!" Like any fandom under the sun you'll never have people agreeing on criticism and there will always be individuals who can't stand a word said against the show... but I guarantee if you removed the bias associated with RWDE you'd get a lot more fans who are RWDE.

Also, side-note, gotta love that I make a post talking about how fans are too inclined to attack critics than engage with what they're saying or simply ignore their stuff... and what's at the top of my inbox but someone calling me a piece of shit and accusing me of stuff I've never ever done (harassing the creators, misusing Monty's name -- the usual accusations that, as I said, fans pick up and repeat ad nauseam without thinking through whether they're accurate).

1) the wiki camp 2 is ABSOLUTELY a welcoming community. in fact, check this out: here's an index of plainly written explanations of various community in-jokes, to ensure nobody's left confused! while i'm not super active on the discord due to hyperfixating on single spaces at a time like some sort of cryptid, i have a lot of wonderful friends in the community and i'd wholeheartedly call it nice.

you don't have to apply to write, either! while i don't think there's an ETA yet on when the wiki's re-opening, whenever it does you'll be able to make an account for free and start creating to your heart's content! sometimes people who do that even get roped into the camp due to Token Shenanigans....

Breathe and stick close, honeybee. This is a good corner of the fandom....at least from where I'm sitting.

To be totally honest, I know that there's a lot of horror in the fandom, but I've actually not seen a lot of it with my own eyes. That's because when I landed here, I basically just kinda sat and observed folks for a hot second, started writing, and let friendlies come to me. If someone or the mutuals they would interact with seemed like a lot of drama, I mainly steered clear. My best friends here mostly approached me and were kind and gentle and funny and respectful to the man we all love. And because of that, I've pretty much just curated a really lovely corner of the fandom for myself.

As someone who deals with anxiety and depression though, I get you. Coming into a place where there are SO MANY of fans and cliques and strong friendships feels intimidating...like starting at a new school/job. There's really no short answer though. Like anything else, settling in and finding your folks and your path takes a little time.

You seem to be doing alright so far though...you marked me as someone safe to approach. So your powers of observation are working! Good start! 😄

But nobody's going to assume you're one of the scary ones right off the bat. Being kind and offering up a bouquet of niceness (like you did in your ask) opens the door up real quick.

So my question for you is...where do you want to live in this fandom? Are you a fic writer? A gif maker? An artist? A reader? A reblogger? If one of the first three, then start creating, kitkat! Learn how to tag your stuff and those who love it will find you! If you're a reader, I guarantee the fastest way to spread goodwill and make artists start to recognize your callsign and appreciate you is by reblogging and commenting on their work. I can't emphasize that enough--creators don't get paid for their work here. They share their creations in exchange for interaction and community. They want to scream joyfully about the fandom with other fans. Please, for the love of Pedro, come scream with us!

And that, my friend is what you bring to the table.

That's all you have to do. Openly share joy. Do it by sharing your art/stories/talents or by sharing the work of others and your love of it. And if you happen to share your joy with someone but don't receive it back from them, then you've found someone who may not be worthy of your collection of the fairest folk. That's okay. There are a hundred more who will acknowledge your joy. Turn around and you'll walk right into them around here.

But if you have anxiety, it's okay to go slow. Starting on anon is good, helps you get some practice in before you're ready for your debut. Just remember what my buddy @insomniamamma says..."the anon button is not for hate. It's for horny and embarrassed about it."

You'll get over the embarrassment soon enough once you realize we're all pretty horny (including sappily horny for fluff and romance) around here. Don't judge yourself for it. We sure won't!

thank you for all the lovely suggestions on blogs to follow! unfortunately most of them seem to haven’t been updated in a few months but i appreciate it regardless!

As someone who has disappeared for long stretches of time, I always have a habit of still following inactive blogs with the hope that they will come back. Some of them don't come back, but some of them do. The active blogs that I did list in that ask are still around, so please don't give up hope. It's hard being a pmmm blog sometimes, but the mutuals I have met make the tough times a lot easier. The non-pmmm blogs that I know interacting with my Homura also make things a lot more fun as well.

Branching out to new fandoms by making au verses for your pmmm muse(s) might also help you out, dear anon. I value the canon journey of my Homura very much, so making au verses can be tricky. However, I took the plunge to combine both my Homura's canon stuff with another fandom's world. Surprisingly, the treatment it has gotten is very astounding to me. It gives me more courage to do more au verses in the future. I'm still hoping that more blogs would make pmmm verses for their muses. Seeing that is such a treat!

The pmmm rp community might be small, but I'm sure that you'll find out how comfy it feels. It can be a little lonely, but that only makes us stick together a lot more. This blog has been alive for a long time, sure. But it still feels like home to me. Surprisingly, my tags are still working fine. I can't wait until my blog can eventually get to see the upcoming movie. Either way, I hope that you can navigate your way safely with your blog. Rules and Info

This is an askblog for the character Benilos in (my) @benilos's Time and Time Again series. This is a 18+ blog, as though the series is 16+, Bayfire is gross. Please be mindful of this, as I will very liberally block people if these rules are not followed.

This blog will be largely in-character. Refer to the read more for all info and then the rules for the blog and submissions. Anon list also under cut.

Rules:

This is an in-character blog, however I will also probably treat it like a loredump area, specifically for Benil himself. So be prepared for that, and filters the tags of any content you do not wish to see. I am extremely anal over tagging, but if I happen to miss something or you would like to request something be trigger tagged, you are welcome to do so, and I am welcome to deny or acquiesce just as much. Please be respectful when requesting tags/warnings.

This blog will content NSFW content, including gore/violence, as well as sexual content. It will be tagged, and NSFW content will likely not be put under a read more. I will have all tags listed at the bottom of the post for your filtering pleasure.

The only real rule is be respectful. TATA is a horror series with a very large amount of sensitive themes, including instances of rape, various forms of abuse, supernatural gore and all kinds of dirty gross stuff that lots of people on the internet are scared of. The story is linked at the top of this post, read its tags on AO3. You'll get it. I will not be censoring Benil's answers, nor any other characters.

Things that will not be tolerated however, is bigotry of any kind. Questions ABOUT these subjects are absolutely permitted, as these themes do/will show up in this series, but if an ask IS bigoted in nature, it will be deleted and the user blocked if able. I guess it largely goes along with being respectful.

There will be art! Most of it will be traditional art, unless yall wanna pay for me to be able to own a desk that's big enough to hold my massive gaming laptop and my big ass drawing tablet so I can actually do digital art.

Now for information about Benil, warning for spoilers to TATA!

Benilos, (bay-nee-yoh/beh-neh-lohs), is the current BEN Drowned-adjacent character in Time and Time Again, the Creepypasta AU series written by me, @benilos (on here and AO3). He is also referred to as, Benil (beh-neehl/bay-nee-yuh), Bay, Bayfire, etc.

This BEN is a primordial god in the TCU universe (TATA's whole universe), the eldest of three. His primary motive is to find people known as kolivera, aka singers, which, in the simplest of terms, is a soulmate of his. Oftentimes, these are other iterations of BEN Drowned/Ben Lawman. He is considered a hivemind, though I'd compare him more to Ermac from Mortal Kombat, with the whole, souls of multitudes thing he's got going on. You will learn those souls as this blog fills up.

Benil is open for self-shipping, questions about himself, questions about his world and other Creepypastas. You will see TATA's MC, Twitch, quite a bit in this as well, and characters from @scrollypoly's Soulless Computer Boy fic will also appear, as SCB/TATA do have a canonical crossover, and there is a chance for spoilers of that fic as well (though these will be avoided as much as possible, so some asks may not get answered if it spoils Scrolly's fic.)

The biggest thing to warn you all of is the shipping that occurs here. I ship what me and Scrolly have jokingly named Bencest, which is essentially us shipping our various versions of BEN together. You will see this a lot here. It is the primary ship we have here, you will also see ocxoc, ocxcanon, canonxcanon, etc etc etc here. Self-shipping and OC inserts are encouraged and welcomed, so you can send me stuff about your OCs and ask for interactions as much as you please, just keep things age appropriate. If your character is underage, do not request NSFW content of my characters with them. Point blank period. I am almost 22 years old, I will lose my fucking mind y'all.

AU/blog Context:

The Welcome Home website seems to have a virus! If you go to "The Neighborhood!" page, you'll find you cannot get out of that screen. Though, you can click on Home, which brings you to So Below! A dark, pitch black void where Wally lives! Huh, Wally looks a little different? You can't see his eyes, as they are covered in pixels. Only a hint of color is visible on him as the majority of his colors are completely gone, leaving his clothes, hair, and skin just plain white, matching the pixels! He can talk to you, but he cannot hear you. He can see what you type though and responds to that! You eventually try to leave and exit the tab, but it seems your mouse can no longer move on the screen and you are permanently stuck in So Below with Wally! Welp, no other choice than to get a new computer!
