I don't like most of my roommates to be taki.

Slender - Uh. He's cool. He's very subservient towards me, which I like. He helps actually maintain and run the house. But he's. Kind of a pussy when it comes to me. But other than he's cool? He keeps things clean and in order around here, and EJ's a good help to him.

EJ - I think EJ's cool, he don't fuckin like me.

Jeff - Mine.

Nina - MY FAVORITE. She's so fucking funny. She does not take shit, especially from me, and has legit no fear. I love her, she's my favorite, if anything happens to her I'm killing everyone and then myself.

Brian - He's funny.

Laughing Jack - Good guy. Real good guy. I like him. Kinda wish he had more time. He's just....he's a good guy.

Sally - I'd cause an apocalypse for her, she'd cause an apocalypse to kill me. We do have a semi-mutual respect.

Kate - I actually haven't seen her in years, but she seemed cool when I first met her. She's never around the House anymore.

Twitch - I've never wanted to katan a person who wasn't my kolivera as badly as I want to katan her. She's.....It makes my brain hurt how badly I want her and I to ruin each others' lives.

I'm just getting into the creepypasta fandom and I have like no idea where to start or even where to read half of the original stories, any recs for good archives?

Theres a lot of blogs on here with good writing and content. I highly recommend @intimidating-fettuccine cuz shes just a kickass writer who has done so much for the fandom on this site. I also recommend @just-a-creep-babe and @smutty-ki113r if you want that good 🥴👌👌💦 horny stuff, but plz only interact with their stuff if you are over 18.

Honestly i think it kinda just depends on what characters you like. I tend to stick in the circle of blogs that write a lot of Ben stuff cuz hes my fave. I would search up character tags and peruse those to find stuff you like. A lot of us also have little personal AUs, so if you like any of those definitely look into them and ask the blogger about them. If you want smth like that thats in depth, def check out @benil-evorsi-naselo cuz holy moley hes got a lot of good shit 😘

Thoughts on Benil vs Charles this weekend?

Historically, Do Bronx is more like a guy who beats Beneil than Beneel is like a guy who beats Do Bronx.

Dariush rarely ever loses large sections of fights. In the 4 fights I have seen him lose, he was basically winning all of them before being caught with something dynamic (not the Hernandez fight but that was quick). He ends up making a momentarily bad judgement against a dynamic, often deadly opponent and ends up getting caught. Do Bronx can 100% do that. He is by far the most dynamic finisher Dariush will have ever fought and Dariush's recent run of opponents is lacking anyone with a similar style/dynamic finishing sills. Like I like Gamrot and CDF but they are not guys who are going to win fights all at once. That is something we have seen Charles do though. He'll strategically lose exchanges, often times getting hurt, while also taking small wins (body work, getting reads, etc) to build to quick finishes.

That said, Dariush has something guys like Poirier and Gaethje didn't - a complete wrestle and grappling game. He will not less Oliveira rest should he knock him down. He'll climb into guard and make Do Bronx work. Something that seemed to cause Oliveira some mental energy when he faced Makhachev. Also, Dariush is a super well conditioned freak. Guys consistently break themselves trying to push him, like Gamrot did. If Oliveira tries to push his typical 100 mph pace on Dariush, it's not like we haven't seen Oliveira get hurt trying before. And while we've see Dariush hurt (and finished) a bunch, we've also seen that his new willingness to just swang and bang as granted him confidence and seemingly more durability. If Dariush does manage to hurt Oliveira and doesn't let him rest while playing guard, could this fight look like every other fight where Oliveira becomes physically overwhelmed because his pace is under insanity?

I don't think Dariush will be able to catch Oliveira coming in, which is how a lot of his knocks outs and knock downs come from. I just haven't seen the same level of counter punching footwork that it took from Islam to do so against Do Bronx. Could be wrong (I was wrong about Makhachev) but still. I think Charles will be content with straight kicks up the middle until he feels he can get to clinch range. Dariush is probably going to be the one pushing forward, which he's more than capable of doing. Guys have had big success against Oliveira when they try to force him back - southpaws with big power who can be punishing to people who leaves their heads up like Poirier. But we also haven't seen Dariush fight a fighter with Oliveira's frame since who? Chiesa? And that was the Chiesa who didn't even have a functional kickboxing game.

It's easily one of the best fights in MMA. I'd say the 2nd best match up on paper the UFC has made this year behind Mak-Volk. One of the most interesting things about this fight is that we have seen them both hurt and stopped in multiple ways. Ways both guys are completely capable of exploiting. I'll probably lean Do Bronx just because I like his tools from the outset a bit more - I'm really excited to see what happens if these two tie up in space. But nothing would shock me in this one.

So now that Charles may be next to fight for the belt. What improvements would you like to see out of him for the rematch? Did you see anything in his fight with Benil that you optimistic for him?

There's not really much you can take away from like 3 minutes of action, even for a Do Bronx fight but southpaws have always given him trouble. If his solution to Makhachev is to literally just kick the power hand as hard as he possibly can in open guard so his opponent just can't throw it, i don't know - maybe that works.

If there's any quick adjustment for Do Bronx to make, it would probably kicking upstairs more. Body and head. Makhachev's footwork was tight and consistent. Trying to flurry him backwards or just run in on him behind big strikes (like that flying knee) would probably fail. Aim for things that are going to force him to eat something on the forearms or retreat out the pocket and give you some momentum coming forward. And it's a lot harder to counter those types of kicks.

Why do you think Ben liked Jill so much? What made her stand out from the other cult members and got him to focus on something other than his family?

As much as I love Ben and Jill, the boring answer is that plot called for a stronger source of conflict and a way to show that ghosts could possess Klaus, so they gave Ben a crush. It also served as a parallel between Klaus and Dave, and to highlight how neither Ben nor Klaus are very good at listening to each other. Klaus dismisses the importance of Jill to Ben and, likewise, Ben dismisses the importance of Dave to Klaus. Buuut that’s a subject for another post...

The more character-driven answer is that I think Ben simply thought she was beautiful (”Almond-shaped eyes you get lost in...” ♥) and they had a lot in common. 

The first shot we see of Jill is of her reading on the bus in Baja, Mexico while Ben, also holding a book, makes lovesick puppydog eyes at her. She had an Albright scholarship to a highly renowned private college in New York, which shows just how smart and dedicated as a person she is. Ben also mentions that she’s good with people, a skilled gardener, and is clearly charmed that she sings to her turnips. 

Not saying that Klaus or any other members of the cult aren’t nice, compassionate, or smart, but I think Jill stands out in that she is noticeably more down to earth, composed, and academically-focused than they are. She has a soothing presence and the kind of optimistic, bubbly personality that I think would be attractive to someone like Ben who I think struggles to see the world in positives. Too, I believe Ben craves stability, something that is few and far between in the Hargreeves’ dysfunctional family, and Jill comes across as someone very steady and put together by comparison.

It’s hard to say whether or not Jill would have felt the same about Ben or if she would have only had eyes for Klaus, but in another universe where her and Ben did work out, I think they could have been really good for each other. They have enough in common, both could be comfortable being silly together or even just sitting in silence, and I very strongly believe that Jill could have helped Ben become more optimistic. He needs someone like her to help bring him out of his shell, improve his confidence, and remind him that the world isn’t such a terrible place.
