#also no he doesn't want to experience life as a normal person. no he wouldn't sacrifice his powers to live again.#he LOVED being powerful. he was very proud of his powers. he was at the top of the world. what he disliked was being so lonely at the top.#which having reunited with Geto now he is not.#and he wanted to keep the next generation safe due to his past regrets and teach a generation of kids to be at the top together.#and he wanted to get rid of the corrupt higher-ups and reform the Jujutsu society.#and he did all of that. lucanis is a 'I could sit in our quiet kitchen on a grey tuesday afternoon drinking coffee and talking with you about nothing much in particular forever and be the happiest man who ever lived' romantic, not a 'classic tropes and grand gestures' romantic. this is a distinction and conceptual gap I personally feel is crucial to understanding what's going on with him when romanced. for all his almost painful sincerity and clear depth of feeling he's not a very effusive guy by nature, but in the history of time no one has ever, with their whole soul, chest and being, been so genuinely and openly happy to just do laundry and taxes with you.

ok so we know trailblazer travelled with the stellaron hunters before the story. they’re the ones that drop them off at the space station, silver wolf is really friendly with them, and blade outright says it in kafka’s companion mission.

so looking back, firefly’s reaction to seeing trailblazer for the “first” time makes a lot of sense

thats not some way you’d react to seeing a stranger yk… the surprise and then happiness and immediate familiarity makes way more sense now

and ofc theres these lines… we meet again, as always, as ever, etc…

i was looking at the last page of the dreamscape pass earlier. there’s a sticker about meeting her.
