Bruce Wayne had a child that was somehow kidnapped right out of the hospital just hours after being born. He of them ever stopped looking despite how cold the trail had grown.

Years later there is some rouge attack and a civilian child was injured and taken to the hospital. Bruce does a DNA test on the blood found at the scene and concludes that the child is actually his long lost kid.

Dani was planning to sneak out of the hospital the moment the doctors stopped looking at her. Then Bruce Wayne of all people comes in and claims that she is his long lost child. She knows that this is very impossible because she is a clone, but Bruce won't listen to her and she really doesn't want to explain the clone thing to a "normal" stranger.

This does brings up a lot of questions about how Danny ended up living with the Fentons though.

ultimately when it comes to shipping and fandom space treatment of aspec characters i just don't accept "aro/ace people can still date/have sex" as an answer from nonaspecs. like yeah. mhm. okay. now i think we both know that you're not saying that out of real interest in the diversity of aspec experiences. so you can turn in your seventeen-page essay on why and how you plan to examine this character's aspec identity within the context of a romantic or sexual relationship complete with evidence from canon and peer reviews from multiple aspec people within the next week or i'm putting you in the pit from the edgar allen poe story

With every person who believes all communists ever talk about is the "glorious revolution" and nothing else, it's very safe to assume that they have never in their life talked to a serious communist, and that their only exposure to revolutionary marxism are people who fetichize underground work or actual communists too annoyed with their handwringing to patiantely explain their positions. I've never seen any communist, here or offline, reply to a serious and good-faith question about how to realistically build towards assuming power by force with just a "it will happen and you're a lib for not trusting me" and not ever expanding on strategy.

So those who complain about this apparent rampant "rapture cutlure", as that one post put it, I do think it is more a reflection on how they interact with communism in an excessively aggressive and unserious way more than it is a genuine critique of communist strategy and goals. It is also very common for these people to be imperial core, because believing this requires you to be solipsitic about the world south of Texas and east of the EU. The reality is that, now and throughout history, successful revolutions have happened, either communist or inspired by communist practice, and just by learning about some of these, like Cuba, a lot of arguments posed on the same "glorious revolution" critique would dissappear

I don’t think this is going to end with Gemma being completely alive and back to normal and everything’s happy but like, I am a little baffled by people’s insistence that mark trying to get her back is unhealthy

Like. If you think your wife dies but then it turns out she appears to be alive and being held hostage in a basement somewhere, presumably stolen just before death by the deeply unethical medical company who has contacts and influence in just about every organisation in your area (including the hospital and the morgue), and you happen to have access to some parts of said basement then doing what you can to get her out of there isn’t an unhealthy refusal to move on. That’s like. A relatively normal response to an insane situation.

Like is the healthy option to just leave your seemingly alive and well wife in the basement of the evil medical company to be experimented on? Mark doesn’t even know she can’t remember anything (and to be honest, neither do we. We’ve only seen her innie. We have no idea what her ‘outie’ is like. I doubt it’s normal regular Gemma, but we don’t know). The experimental brain surgery is unideal but the desire to rescue her is like. The only normal response to that information
