Book A Reading With Me 💞

today, as i finish up the last of my readings for the week, i am eager to return just to make another reading talking about how your f/s will pursue you! go ahead and book a reading if you'd like to learn more about your future spouse or don't, whatever's fine 😭 today I'm doing a short reading since again I don't have that much time but I still want to make something cute 💞 with that being said...let's get started 💞💞

we have four piles; intuitively choose the one you're most drawn to.

Pile I. woman sm*king

[8oS, 9oS, 2oS, KoW, 7oC, the fool, p, s.c]

your person pursues you in a more laidback way. they're very unsure of themselves, most of them not likely to go ahead and pursue you without being sure that you're even in to them in the first place. they're quite shy. i can see them being the type of people that only stare at you when they know you're not watching. looking at you when you look at something else with a small smile on their face. thinking of you constantly. asking themselves if you like them or not. they might even be in a state of unrest, a will they won't they type of thing when it comes to pursuing you.

once they know though...then they change. they start acting different. start carrying themselves with more confidence. they start joking about so much lmao, almost like since they know that you're reciprocating their energy they feel comfortable enough to show you their true selves. also the type that feels that, after knowing you like them, will start to fantasize a lot about what could be. like they see you somewhere and they think about you for hours after.

pursuing you would be them being super shy at first, acting like you're not there. and then once they start getting the vibe that you're feeing them as well, that's when they start vibing more. being spontaneous, saying stuff that'll catch you off guard. being more possessive, grabbing at your waist or simply just letting people know that there's something going on between you both.

now please understand, these people will mess up. they might not say the right thing or do the right thing all the time. in fact, i think the f/s of this pile will be the one that messes up the most. they're not that experienced in the area of love, but one thing i will tell you is that having them pursue you is chaotic and funny but most of all warm.

Pile II. lonely in a movie theater

[the emperor, 4oW, KoS, Justice, 10oC, 10oS]

smooth talker fr. someone who knows how to worm their way into the heart of who they're talking to. i feel like they like to talk about the future. when you both are together they might look at random stuff and tell you to think of both of you doing those things together. they make themselves appear bigger too lmao like a peacock showing off their feathers.

also, things will get a little dark for a second so bare with me but, they're not people who know what happiness exactly is. they don't have a good picture of a happy healthy relationship.

that's why they seem to chase it with such vigor. they want what they've never had. they've likely grown up around people with silver tongues, people that can say exactly what you want to hear. might even be a fan of baby talk or just sweetening their words a lot. i also feel like that your person might highlight your differences to them a great deal. for ex. if they have dark hair and you have light hair you'll hear them say "if we have kids, i want them to have your hair"

being with you will also put them out of their comfort zone, like finding out that their words can also be met with actions. their words speaking of their future with you and their actions making sure no one tries to get with you in order to make it happen. telling you your attractive and making sure they show you off at the same time.

Pile III. riding a motorcycle

a definite gift giver. like this is giving me taurus/2nd house venus energy. someone that doesn't know how to love in words or actions but they're definitely good gift givers. they're very romantic. whether it be a small gift or a big one they're definitely going to deliver.

they like showing you their idea of what a better life could be at their side. might like taking you on trips fully paid. they have moneyyy. i imagine them taking you to a vacation spot and telling you about this plate on the menu that they love but you haven't tried; they're going to do all they can to make sure you try it as well. even if it means you ordering two plates lmao.

also i believe that they could win you over by just being there for you. supporting you, making sure that you're well cared for. loving you even in the hardest of times. they'd like to also act like they were hurt in order for you to take care of them lmao.

probably likes teasing you and commenting on how much you love him more. how you're the one who's fallen hopelessly in love all whilst knowing that they're the one that's fallen hard. might be a little more on the dramatic side lmao, think wattpad king falling for the calm and collected wallflower.

Pile IV. riding in the passenger seat

[AoW, 9oS, 8oS, 2oC, The Fool, QoP]

a mess in a heart shaped bottle. they don't know how to act. they're the type of people that change tactics easily. one moment they're totally going to go for it and the next they don't know how to approach you correctly.

they're Katy Perry's "Hot and Cold" personified. like they remind me a bit of Stiles from Teen wolf. they can be the type of person that feels like they have a 15 year plan then just like he did, they throw caution to the wind and ditch all that for a chance to talk to you. their way of coming to you is from all angles and from no where all at once. acts like they have no interest and then they forget about all that and they're professing love to you.

they'll behave very weirdly lmao. i mean i can imagine them going to you and telling you about their plans with you. trying to win you over slowly. taking you on dates. treating you with care and respect. being careful to not even touch you LMAO and then i can see them forget about all that and just be spontaneous. taking you on last minute adventures, calling you out of the blue. stuff like that.

will get crazy if they find out someone's trying to steal you from them but they also love the chase. love knowing that you're into them but almost acting coy? I can also see them approaching you as a friend at first. Aquarius vibes? but with a stable purpose. so aqua and taurus mixed.

"Hey, Lulu! You're back late! What--what's the matter."

". . ." A shaky breath.

"Lulu? Did something happen at Fros--"

"I'm so stupid, Mimi." Romeo's voice wavered, small. "You're right. I'm naïve. I'm a fucking fool. I'm. . . ."

Romeo's shaking voice hiccuped a bit, and Taiga hurried over to pull him into his arms and route him to sit on his bed. His room was smaller back then, he wasn't Captain, but it was big enough for the both of them. Romeo hadn't been upset like this since they left Italy. Romeo didn't really cry over anything, ever. And he never called him 'Mimi' unless he really wanted something--or felt completely helpless. "Okay? Maybe. I mean maybe naïve, but not stupid. Why'd you think that?"

"Those fucking. . . ." The tone didn't reflect the biting words. "I should have known. It's not like I'm unfamiliar with high society. Right? I haven't been away from it that long. . . ."

A weak, shaky, wet laugh, or maybe just another breath failing to calm his rising pitch. "They were pretending. All this time, acting like we were friends. . . ."

That didn't seem the case from where Taiga stood. But Taiga rarely saw the Frostheim ghouls and captains away from Romeo or classes. He didn't really know what their relationships were. He didn't pry, either. Romeo seemed happy. That was all that mattered. "Wha--"

"Ishibashi transferred today. Did you know that?"

". . .Ishibashi?" A nod. "Vagastrom Ishibashi??" Another nod. "To Frostheim?"

"He must be up to. . .something, I don't know. Probably wants to leech off of that bastard Kamurai's money, who knows--he's always been so. . . ."

Tohma was a bit odd for certain--for all of his brutality and delinquency, he was oddly close to and even kind of well behaved when it came to the faculty and staff at Darkwick. They'd even started to trust him a little bit. Taiga would know, they called them both for intense missions they couldn't trust other ghouls now and then. Even so, Taiga had been around him. He couldn't imagine him in the castle with the rest of the 'knights.'

"And they just. . .let him. Barely any protest, barely any argument. . .just acting like he belonged there like we've never seen him in that little fight club of theirs. But they told me that I wouldn't fit in! That they wished it could be different but I didn't belong in Frostheim! But that brute, he belongs there!? With the wealthy and famous and politicians' kids--in high society!? That--that STL!?"

Taiga didn't bother to ask what the acronym meant. His sixth sense did it for him, cycling through what Romeo thought of Tohma before landing on the answer, Shady, Two-faced Leech. It definitely seemed fitting in this scenario.

Romeo laughed bitterly. "And you know why? Do you want to know why he belongs and I don't?" Romeo curled his legs up, resting his head on his knees to look sideways at his blurry partner. "I had to figure it out all by myself--because those. . .those uppity slugs wanted to have their fun with me. But I get it now.

"He made a big show of kneeling to show where he belonged and what he was. He says he's Kamurai's servant now. And I realized that's where the problem was." His laugh was as much a sob as it was devoid of humor. "Kamurai's always using 'kneel' as a command with his stigma. And I never did. Because I thought we were equals. But they didn't think that. And they saw that I wouldn't kneel for them and that's when they decided.

"They were just amusing themselves with me. Playing along because it was funny for them to see me thinking I was like them. Kamurai, Kusanagi, even Ishibashi, they must have thought I looked so stupid--" Romeo can't stop himself from crying outright anymore. Taiga pulls his head close to his chest stiffly, but hugging him firmly, stroking his back and kissing his hair. Trying to restrain icy fury. "A hopeless, worthless little charity case. Some cute, begging stray who lost everything he had--and it's so, so funny that he'd think he still belongs with anyone who matters!"

Romeo lost his running train of words to the tunnel of his own crying, clinging on to Taiga aho squeezed him and rocked him, giving him words of reassurance. He felt betrayed. And childish. And broken-hearted. And stupid. So, so, so stupid. Why couldn't he tell before? Why hadn't it crossed his mind before? The general students whispered when they saw him, they all looked at him like he was pitiable and diseased. Why wouldn't the ghouls? Why wouldn't the captains?

Taiga was practically all he had when he left home. Taiga was all he had now, too, it felt like.

"And I wasn't sure at first. . .I thought maybe I was reading into it too much. But Kusanagi. . .Nagi just said I should have been honored that Jin was giving me so much attention. That most people in my condition would be. Excited that Jin wanted to be my sugar daddy." The concept didn't disgust him, but the image of pity and reliance that came with it did. "That I should just go with the flow. Not worry about it. Keep accepting gifts, let him have his way to let him give me a leg up, or what-the-fuck-ever. . . .

"He just wants me reliant! Like a pet! Like--" A choked sound left him. "They told me that the general students were talking about us. That they wouldn't whisper as much if not for you. And I didn't think about it at the time but I think they wanted to separate us. So that it would be easier to. Control me or something. Or they wanted to see if I'd abandon you so they'd approve of me more. But I know how high society works, I know that when you're relying on someone else and you don't have anything to fall back on you're the first person to get dropped when things get shaky. And I. I'd never leave you. Of course not."

Romeo claws at Taiga's back as if trying to make sure he didn't go anywhere. He got a kiss for his troubles, a long one on the lips. Then to kiss and lap away his still-falling tears. He was listening but he knew if he opened his mouth it wouldn't have anything nice to say. He dug his own nails into Romeo just as reassuringly, grounding.

"So I left. I told Kamurai I wasn't going to kneel for him. I told them I wasn't going to be a pet or a servant and I wouldn't let them look down on me anymore--because I'm Romeo Scorpius Lucci and I'm above any of that. And I'm above them." He sobbed and squeaked again, insisting and reassuring to himself. "And I'm not going back! Ever! I hate them--all of them! The ghouls, the captains, the general students, their fucking advisor! Every single one! And Isami's not off the hook for bailing, either! They really think they're so. . .they treat me like I'm. . . ."

"Alright." Taiga stroked down Romeo's back as he went back into crying. That seemed to be the end of the tale. "You want me to take care of it? I can do it. I will do it."

"Hoshi. . . ."

"I got a plan, too!" Taiga laughed, hugging Romeo and kissing his forehead before stepping away, Romeo releasing him reluctantly. "I mean all those rich guys they're in such good health, right? 'cept their lungs, I guess--but I bet I could get a fortune off of the gen students' organs, right? Market that shit as upscale, designer--didn't we watch some musical about that once?"

As Taiga chatted, planning on cheering Romeo up with his ferocity, he flit about the room, retrieving a knife. A few knives. The tools he used for aforementioned organ harvesting. A bag big enough to hold them. And he dumped them in. Romeo hiccuped and sniffled, watching him with some amusement. "We did. . .it wasn't very good. . . ."

"Yeah, but this'll be good." Taiga insisted, the cruel dullness of his voice still managing to sound chipper. He fetched a pistol, and Romeo wasn't in the mood to scold him for the unsafe way he waved it around. "I'll go blasting in there and the cold'll keep everything fresh for me. Maybe take some alive, put 'em to work? Feed 'em to that big toothy hole we saw in the desert? Or hostage negotiation with their rich ass families? I bet won't even have to rough 'em up before the cash starts coming in--"

Taiga began to expound on the ways he'd kill and torture the Frostheimers and what he'd do with their (living or dead) bodies to make them suffer for hurting Romeo, gathering the tools to do so from around his room and showing them off to Romeo as proof with his explanations before he stuffed and dropped them into a bag. First the general students. Then the vice captain. Then the captain. Should he go to Mortkranken and get Isami too? Have him help with some alleged medical prowess or lose his life too? Then Ishibashi, Kusanagi, and finally how he would brutalize and torture Jin Kamurai just for Romeo, just for his tears.

And as the dark and unhinged brutality went on and on Romeo smiled. And laughed. And eventually he wasn't crying anymore at all, only giggling and laughing and taking shaky breaths, undisturbed by the disturbing ideas. It wouldn't have been the appropriate time before for Taiga to say how beautiful he looked with tears running down his face, how pretty his eyes were when they were wet and shiny, how excited he felt seeing his hair a little messed, his flushed face and shaking lips and shoulders and hearing his choked breaths. How even when he was a miserable mess he was the most beautiful thing in the world. Maybe he would tell him later. But he was beautiful now too, the dried tear trails down his face, his cheeks and nose still red from crying and exertion, but now from joy and laughter, his smile bright but just a bit crude with schadenfreude. His amethyst eyes were still wet with some tears, but now much of the leaking was breathlessness and mirth.

"That's what I wanna do for you. That's what I'm gonna do for you. No matter what the Institute does to me after, I don't care. You're worth so much more than them, Lulu. You're amazing. You're beautiful. You're way more than they deserve. I'm gonna kill them for lookin' down on you like that. Promise I'll get every last one."

"Thank you, Hoshi. . . ." Romeo managed, smiling up at him from where he came close again to squeeze him and kiss his forehead. "But. That's not what I want. That's not how I want to win."

"But Lulu. . . ."

"I know. You packed your bag and everything. . . ." He held Taiga's face, holding their foreheads together, sharing their shaking breaths. "But I'm going to do it myself. I'm going to do this my way.

"They want to treat me like a leper, like they'll lose their businesses from exposure to me, they see me as less than them while still wearing my family name to parties and events. . .I'll show them. I'll show them how successful I can be even on my own, without my family. . .I'll be so wealthy, so influential again, they'll be begging for my attention and approval, like I don't remember every single one of them who slighted me. . .they'll invite me to their parties, they'll invite me to their balls, they'll want to sell me their fucking daughters in marriage, and I'll refuse every single one because they'll be so far beneath me any profits from them would be trivial. I'll put those. Slugs beneath my feet where they belong. I'll fucking show them. . .I can do this my way, Hoshi. I will do this my way, without their handouts, without their 'support,' without them, unless I'm flat out stealing from them."

". . .Sounds good." Less exciting than Taiga's way, but it grounded him. "Won't kill 'em then. Without another good reason. Promise. And I'll be here every step of the way. You don't need them. You've got me."

"I know." Any more tears and shaky sounds were happiness. Reassurance. Although Taiga heard the uncertainty in them. Nonetheless, Romeo's embrace was strong and firm as his convictions. "I've always had you. Ever since I met you, you've been mine. . . ."

"Love you too, Lulu." The tight hug was added onto with a kiss that quickly turned deep, with gripping, wandering hands. Taiga gasped into Romeo's mouth. "Lemme show you how much better I know you than those cold bastards. . .wanna show you how much you're worth, how much I love you, everything they're missing out on. . .lemme show you how little you need them. I'll show you how good our little home is."

She’s the type to remember everything, literally, everything, but only when it comes to you.

Anniversaries and your birthday are a given of course, but it extends to events you have to attend, hobbies and every little thing about you.

Like… Ann, you can’t remember any date in history class, but somehow you know your s/o’s least favorite type of skittle?

That being said she can be a bit… scatterbrained when it comes to her own things, so most of your time will double as her personal calendar.

Shopping dates? Shopping dates.

She will drag you (or not depending on how much you like shopping) to the nearest shop and make you try on a ridiculous amount of clothes.

I was wondering if you could write some head canons or a one shot about a non-binary reader x Kakyoin who always dances to the music on the radio? Its one of my favorite things to do when I’m playing 70’s-80’s music and I go unnecessarily hard lmao, if possible could you add the other crusaders but platonically?? Like maybe they are all in the car driving and then a song the reader likes comes on the radio and then they just start hitting the boogie in the passenger seat? This is the first request I’ve gotten so I was super pumped to write this! And please don’t apologise! The more detail the better, gives me a better idea of what to write 🥰

This is my first time writing for a non-binary reader so I hope I did ok! Any and all feedback is majorly appreciated.

And since I couldn’t decide between head canons and a one shot, you get both lol

(I was also listening to a favourite 80s song of mine while writing this, so I hope it’s ok that it makes a little cameo in the one shot 😅)

Head Canons :

Kakyoin absolutely LOVES when your favourite tunes come on, almost as much as you do.

Because it means he gets to see you boogie to your heart’s content.

You might think it’s because he finds it funny, but it’s far from it.

Every time you dance to the radio he’s just mesmerised, he loves the energy you give into every move.

Since Kakyoin was quite reserved as a child, he never had moments where he could just jam out with someone.

So when you gesture for him to join you, he knows he’d be a fool not to.

The other crusaders see the goofy smile on his face every time the two of you dance together.

So they subtly (not so subtly) ensure that you guys just so happen to be partnered up when you stay in hotels.

They come to regret this when your dancing sessions carry late into the night.

Every now and then Jotaro will get sick of it so you’ll hear a muffled “Shut up!” from the next room.

You and Kakyoin giggle quietly as you turn down the radio.

They don’t mind too much though, the nature of this journey is bleak at times so the liveliness you and Kakyoin bring is a welcome breath of fresh air.

Polnareff and Joseph even join you two for a chance to boogie occasionally.

One Shot :

Mr Joestar’s snoring is the only sound that fills the air as you drive along the deserted road. You get an earful of it since you’re sitting in the middle of him and Polnareff, with the latter driving.

You wanted to sit next to Kakyoin but this seating arrangement was the only way all 6 of you would be able to fit in the car. He sat directly behind you, between Jotaro and Avdol.

You’ve been driving for hours with no breaks, there’s not much to do in the car so you start to grow restless.

[YOU] - “Ughhh, I’m so bored!!”

You groan as you plonk your head on the dashboard.

[POLNAREFF] - “Hey hey watch it!”

Polnareff yanks you back into an upright position.

[POLNAREFF] - “You’re gonna give yourself a concussion.”

[YOU] - “Maybe that would be a blessing in disguise. It’d be more interesting than this.”

You rotate in your seat, leaning on your knees to look into the back seat. Jotaro is leaning back with his hat over his face and Avdol is just looking out the window. You look at Kakyoin and he has his eyes closed, he must be sleeping as well. He looks so peaceful, and although you wanna let him rest… you also really wanna talk to him.

[YOU] - “C’mon…”

You wave your hands in front of you like you're trying to cast some kinda voodoo spell.

[YOU] - “Wake up.”

And to no one’s surprise your incantation fails. You sigh.

[AVDOL] - “Why don’t you try the radio?”

You turn your attention towards the fortune teller.

[AVDOL] - “Maybe we can get a signal out here.”

You immediately perk up at the idea and nod. Turning back around you start fiddling with controls. There’s only static but you don't stop trying. You’re about to throw in the towel but then you hear the radio crackle to life.

♪ ♪ ♫ ♪

Your face lights up when you recognise the melody.

[YOU] - “No fucking way!”

[JOTARO] - “Good grief could you be any louder?”

You turn your head and Jotaro is now sitting up, you shoot him an apologetic smile.

[KAKYOIN] - “Can you blame them? This one is one of their favourites.”

♪ Shake it up is all that we know ♪

You immediately spin back around onto your knees and meet Kakyoin’s gaze.

[YOU] - “Hey you’re awake!”

[KAKYOIN] - “I’ve actually been awake for a while.”

♪ Using the bodies up as we go ♪

You start moving your shoulders to the rhythm.

[JOTARO] - “Good grief here we go again.”

♪ I’m waking up to fantasy ♪

Kakyoin laughs when you start using an imaginary microphone to mouth the lyrics. You hold a hand out to him, still getting your groove on.

[YOU] - “C’mon I know you wanna join me.”

♪ Broken ice still melts in the sun ♪

How can he refuse when you’re looking at him like that? Kakyoin grabs your hand and proceeds to go HAM with you. It’s like y’all are at your own personal concert. Your fingers are intertwined as you both seemingly escape into the music.

[JOTARO] - “Great, now there’s two of them.”

Avdol chuckles at the display in front of them.

[AVDOL] - “This is good, a little spirit is never a bad thing-”

[YOU] - “YOU’RE OUT OF TOUCH.”

You hold the ‘microphone’ to Kakyoin.

[KAKYOIN] - “I’M OUT OF TIME.”

[YOU + KAKYOIN] - “BUT I’M OUT OF MY HEAD WHEN YOU’RE NOT AROUND!”

Jotaro just shakes his head while Avdol’s laughter fills the space in between you and Kakyoin’s singing (screaming)

It goes on like this for a while, the radio cycles through the songs, and you and Kakyoin give an oscar worthy performance to every single one of them. Polnareff turns up the radio so you can really give it your all, Avdol joins in for some of the songs, and you even manage to get a tiny smirk from Jotaro.

It’s cut short when the radio stops while you’re in the middle of a song.

[YOU] - “Hey driver, what happened to the music?”

You hear a bit of fidgeting before he answers.

[POLNAREFF] - “Looks like we lost the signal.”

The disappointment is evident on your faces.

[KAKYOIN] - “You’re kidding.”

[POLNAREFF] - “Nope, unfortunately I’m not.”

You groan and plop your head on the headrest.

[YOU] - “Man…”

Kakyoin feels bad seeing you so downcast. His eyes fall on your hand that he still has in his grasp, thinking of how to improve your mood. And then an idea hits him.

[KAKYOIN] - “Hey Polnareff, you and Mr Joestar got this car second hand yeah?”

Polnareff looks at him through the rearview mirror.

[POLNAREFF] - “Yeah that’s right.”

He squeezes your hand gently to get your attention. You look up at him.

[KAKYOIN] - “Why don’t you check the glove compartment? Maybe the owner left some discs in there.”

Your eyes widen and you shoot up (almost hitting your head on the roof). His heart melts at the sight of your radiant smile.

[YOU] - “Kakyoin you beautiful genius!”

You grab the sides of his face and give him a peck on the lips. Jotaro and Avdol stifle their laughter as Kakyoin proceeds to malfunction when you turn around to search the compartment.

Opening it up there’s a small pile of discs there, you immediately pick them up and examine them.

[YOU] - “Score!”

You hold up one of the discs to show to Kakyoin.

[YOU] - “They have Wham! in here!”

[JOSEPH] - “What did you just say?”

Looking to the side you see that the old man’s awake, he looks a little startled.

[POLNAREFF] - “You’re finally awake Mr Joestar! I'm surprised you didn’t wake up sooner, we had the music pretty loud.”

Kakyoin leans forward in his seat.

[KAKYOIN] - “Are you ok Mr Joestar?”

You hold up the disc to him.

[YOU] - “Don’t tell me you’ve never heard of Wham! before.”

[JOSEPH] - “You can’t be serious.”

[AVDOL] - “I’m pretty sure they are Mr Joestar, Wham! is very popular.”

[JOTARO] - “Good grief old man, is your age catching up with you?”

The haunted look doesn’t leave Mr Joestar’s face as you look over the other discs with Kakyoin.

[KAKYOIN] - “What was that one you were showing me the other day… oh yeah! Do they have AC/DC?”

[YOU] - “Mhm! Oooo, they even have Santana.”

Your eyes light up when they land on a particular CD.

[YOU] - “Oh. My. God! Let’s put on Cars!“

[JOSEPH] - “HERMIT PURPLE!”

The discs are suddenly snatched out of your hands with purple vines and flung out the open window. You gawk at Mr Joestar as your only form of entertainment disappears into the dust. Kakyoin does his best to console you for the remainder of the drive.

For me I've always thought "sweet night" is about tae questioning his feelings that are growing more for his "best friend" without him noticing, till he finds out that he's indeed in love with the said best friend and what other friend could think I about other than kook himself :

I know it's an ost for his friends' drama, but that doesn't mean it couldn't have been inspired by his personal experience.

I have zero theories about Friends right now, but I loved the concept film and can't wait to see what it's about. Sweet Night is one of my favorite Tae songs, musically and lyrically. I never thought it was about Taekook, but if it is that's sad since ships passing in the night generally refers to people who have one chance to be together but miss it and go their separate ways. I don't like speculating too much about what songs may or may not be about them or resonate with them in terms of their relationship, because I love all kinds of songs that don't bear any similarity to my life. I also think them choosing to not take part in the writing process for their debut albums was because they knew people would be trying to figure out what it meant about their own lives and they can't really be open about that, at least for now. I think it was a very smart choice. I'm willing to reach for "2U" because those lyrics not only seem to fit the situation but Jungkook made the cover him literally looking at Tae (who took the picture). I think "Nothing Like Us" came up several times with them, so that might be a song they relate/related to. "Fools" is hard to deny since JK released his cover like an hour before Tae's birthday. And of course I think "Oh No Oh Yes" and "To Find You" are special to them as a pair, because Tae told us. That's all I can think of off the top of my head that have direct ties to them as a pair. Did I forget any? 😅

do you like any other older horror movies? That's a very dumb question but I'm unashamed about such things. I've rewatched some of the movies that really scared me when I was younger, and if anything they're even more scary now. I only watched 3 or 4 of the Saw films, but your blog is making me feel like looking again.

I love the entire genre, please yell at me if I mess up a reblog, or if my extensive experience in the field can help with your endeavors. I'm a John Carpenter fan from Way back; sometimes I don't know who directed what has become my favorite movie of the week and it turns out to be his...some of em aren't horror, like Starman, but it's heavy sci fi, and 80's Jeff Bridges is such a great actor...rambling with the lunatics. I like your blog! Don't fall for any of those HP Lovecraft movies; there's no sex in the books or stories so that Reanimator fool can go...sex was the selling point in the 80's though, guess it couldn't be avoided. I've read a ton; it's gotta be good for something. The way folks are saying manifest; that's made it back around after 24, 25 years. I do wanna ay I think it's super cool you're parents got married on Halloween, that's totally badass! Halloween is my favourite holiday, my Mom was super big on it because she never got to celebrate it when she was young cause she grew up super religious and it was to make up for lost time.

If I ever got married and I could convince my partner on a date, I probably pick October 1st, but in all honesty, as long as I can get married in Autumn I am totally happy. Though that's a rant for another time, haha.

Now to answer both of your questions:

I really like a lot of horror and I usually go from 1920s German Expressionism horror to present day. Though I am not gonna lie to you, I get really stuck with that late 60s/70s horror, especially that Art house horror like The Last House on the Left or I Spit On Your Grave cause I really enjoy realistic, could really happen horror, plus as a film manic, the 60s/70s had a lot of freedom with things like art and film and I just feel we get more out of that and I'm just like you where it's dirty, raw and full of sex, haha.

Though the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1974 is my all time favourite horror film of all time, but I do really enjoy Last House, Spit on Your Grave, Black Christmas, The Wicker Man and all that.

80s is a hit miss for me, I'm really not a big fan of those popular slashers like Elm Street, or Child's Play or Friday the 13th, but love those somewhat terrible b movies like Sleepaway Camp or Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2.

B Movies are another big thing for me, anything from Puppet Master to Basket Case to Evil Dead.

Now to you second question, the one film I can't watch and it's one of the very few films I've seen once and it's Cannibal Holocaust. I don't know what it was, I love cannibalistic films like The Hills Have Eyes or Cannibal! The Musical; but for some reason, this film didn't sit right with me, I can't tell you if it was cause it was too realistic, too bloody or the fact that they killed real animals on camera or that in reality you don't really know who the villain's really are (that's another rant for another time, I gotta whole essay on that, yeah, I'm a loser haha). In all honesty, I think it was all of the above for me, either way I can't do it, I look away if I see even clips of it or something, though I am trying to hyper myself up and try to watch again in the future as a future film study since I believe it's on both Tubi and/or Shudder.

wooooooo writing wip game! thanks for tagging me my lovely <3

so like my wip titles are usually very to the point, unless i'm doing comfort writing. okay i lied, the comfort writing files also get titles like "comfort writing shit"

so it will just be "chapter 1" or "[fandom] prologue" and it will be in a folder for that specific fandom this fic is from. literally just that. my original stuff doesn't have any wips actually, it just stays in my head.

★ okay, this is incredibly funny to me. both of those are wips for what was meant to be technoblade-centric fanfics of an harry potter au created by one of my favourite mcyt artists (and internet artists in general now). i even asked them if i could write a fic with their headcanons for characters and received their permission. and then poof, all my interest in continuing vanished! also those two aren't even separate projects, these are literally the same file just renamed for some reason and i just checked now lol

that Inability To Function Like A Regular Human mood when you’ve had to leave the house two days in a row so you can already feel that your body and soul have aged by 600 years and know it’ll take about two entire days of rest just to recover back to any somewhat normal level of energy

#finallye.... my two day long anxiety headache can perhabps fade #my ability to feel okay and accomplish tasks is like some ancient arcane magic with heavy consequences #every extra day i utilize the abilitiy to go outside and ride public transport and etc. i must pay back in full the next two days #when im so exhausted i can hardly feed myself and so anxious and tired and foggy that i cant focus on to do list items #which is sitll wild like.. im sure most peope could do a doctors appointment and a trip to the store on monday and then a therapy #appointment on a tuesday and still have a fairly well functioning rest of the week and be able to get stuff done before and #after both appointments hbhbbhbh #but my body and mind are just like 'well we just did All That bitch so we're not doing anything for the rest of the day and if #you think we are then you're s fool lmao'#even by the time i was at the therapist after the stress of being out on the bus and etc. the waiting room was really full #and there were like 7 conversations at once and just a lot of sensory stuff and i could feel myself kind of acend to another plane where i #stop processing my environment completely because my ability to be present has already been used up over the past two days #'so how have you been?' *silence for 30 seconds while all the tiny men in my brain run around screaming trying to process the #fact that words were just spoken to me and formulate new words to say back* ".....oh hmm.............yeah.....im.........okay'#anyway the ancient vampire prince (usually i am a silly mage boy but since i have aged so much from stress over the past few days #i am feeling more distinguished and old and tired.. an ancient vampire instead) is back inside of his hermit dwelling and can relax at last #with no more responsibilities for the rest of the week so... hopefully i can not be too entirely exhausted and actually finish a few things #i have made progress on that dream survey results thing lmao.. recall that from months ago.. and i have some art stuff and videos.. hell #vibeo... it always takes me so long to actually work up the motvation for video stuff but i have some bhbbhb #i want to do some sort of costume soon just because i havent done one in a while (ive been more focused on music and games and worldbuilding #) and also a scultpure since i havent done one of those in even longer but.. im still waiting for like.. an inspiration to come across #but i think probably soon since thats usually how it happens.. i start getting a vague feeling of 'hmm i should do this thing soon' like a #few weeks before i actually get a sold idea and the motivation to follow through so.. mmaybe sculpture or something in the coming weeks #IF my fool ass can function well enough to commit to the revolutionary and impossible act of like.. finishing a single item of my to do list #jbfwhjebfwhf

I would like to make a request if you don't mind 💚

I had this idea of scenario (context->) where s/o (female) is a celestial dragon but she run away, cuz she want to help people and so her family disowned her for this "weakness" and called her a failure, and after that she meets Luffy and immediately (ofc lmao) asks her to join him as his second doctor in the ship.

The thing is that Sanji relates to her story a lot and kind of takes her as his lil sister 🥺

So like he's as whipped with her as with the other women but like platonically if it makes sense?? He just can't see her THAT way.

And here's the other thing, she's very VERY good at her job having the blood blood devil fruit so there's a certain Surgeon of Death that was JUST interested in her devil fruit, as he proclaimed, and NOT her! But ofc not and they fell for each other (in their own weird 'awkward from a side and joyful from the the other' way lol I mean what do you expect from a grumpy man and a strawhat)

And obviously Sanji DOES NOT approve of this, "He's too old for you"

"Where are his GENTLEMAN MANNERS? HUH??"

"He's a damn captain from another crew that we may be enemy with at ANY given moment"

"I don't see what's special about him"

and ESPECIALLY after knowing about the D. thing.

So the scenario is they have a big party at the end of wano, and Sanji just wants to have a friendly little conversation with Law, as he told s/o, but somehow after TOO MUCH time left alone they notice the ground shaking..

with twinkling eyes and a head full of absurdities and curiously odd things, you try your best to understand; but it doesn’t make sense.

what’s in the blood, you ask — a timid, young thing, you hardly know better, but this is a learning experience; one of many.

everything!

their frustration at your incompetence grabs you, sinks its nasty claws into your skin, makes you sob loudly. you reconsider ever asking anyone in your family for clarification again. a record stuck on repeat, destined to ruin your chance of independent thought, only word is parroted at you.

everything, everything, everything.

it’s the last time your parents explain this to you, and it takes a few more years until you get it. and when you finally do, it hurts.

it’s your fourth night keeping watch on the sunny — usopp promises to make it up to you one of these days — you don’t mind, though, it’s nice to have the time to yourself while the rest of your crew mates sleep peacefully. the night is quiet, sea tamer than normal, affable — even as a cool breeze passes near you. the thick blanket is enough to keep you warm, but not thick enough to keep the nightmares at bay.

you dream of them frequently these days; your parents, siblings — the life you were forced to leave behind — it’s been so long, but you remember that moment so clearly: the unfortunate afternoon that changed everything.

no matter how many ways you look at it, there was no alternative. you had to leave; there were things happening that went over your head, but even as a small child your curiosity got the best of you, and you bore witness to an event so gruesome that you cried yourself to sleep for weeks.

no amount of harsh words or directives from your parents could sway your opinions to align with theirs. you — whose ancestors attempted to conquer the heavens — have empathy for those who are beneath your station; it’s absolutely vile, their blatant disregard for the lives of others, so much that it pushes you to voice your opinions over and over. being stripped of your family name, wealth, and social status should be enough to shake you — but it doesn’t. if anything, your resolve becomes much stronger.

a family that discards their child in favor of committing atrocities is not a family worth staying in.

it’s what you keep telling yourself as the years go on, it helps you sleep a little better at night knowing that you’re clearly not like them; but it’s not enough. and when you bite into a brightly colored, nausea inducing fruit, introducing you to the treacherous path of the world’s devils, you actualize your purpose in life.

another stronger breeze coasts by and your nose twitches at the brisk temperature; before you can sneeze, movement off to your side makes you jump back. you’re not skittish by nature, but for some reason, he always takes you by surprise.

trafalgar law fixes you with an inquisitive stare, one that makes you feel as if he’s picking you apart in order to investigate you properly. moonlight glides along his dark hair, illuminating the strands, casting shadows across his face — haunting, yet startlingly handsome.

you roll your eyes and stare right back, hoping your false bravado will help with the way your heart beats much too fast whenever he’s around.

“it’s impolite to stare at people,” you say quickly, tugging the blanket around you securely and leaning against the railing.

he hadn’t meant to stare, but you looked so intense that he couldn’t help it. or, that’s what he’s telling himself, anyway.

“relax,” he casts a glance over to the ocean, takes note of the way small waves knock softly against the side of the ship, “i called your name several times, you just didn’t hear me.” he’d only called it out once, but, again you weren’t really paying attention — and he was well aware of that.

you blink slowly and press your lips together, quietly contemplating his words. you do have a tendency to stay in your head, preferring to keep certain thoughts and opinions to yourself — a troubling habit you picked up over the years out of necessity — although, with him you’re much more willingly to share. law commands that sort of honesty, and you give it freely; much to the chagrin of a particular member of your crew. one who insists on inserting himself in your life whenever possible.

a question floats around his mouth, one that he’s been toying with for a few days now; it slides down his tongue, heavy with implication. he knows that if he asks it now, you might not be able to look at him the same way, so he’s careful with which words he handpicks, and as he readies himself, a hand grips his shoulder from behind.

really, law should blame you for distracting him, for dulling his senses — for always making him feel more relaxed than he normally feels — but he knows that this time it’s his fault. since he intentionally sought you out tonight, when he knew — or, he thought he knew, anyway — that everyone else would be asleep.

leave it to sanji to always defy his expectations.

the sigh he lets out is one built out of frustration and equal parts annoyance. “what is it now?” a clipped response from the captain of the heart pirates, one that sanji does not appreciate one bit.

“excuse you, but what are you doing with y/n this late at night?”

you pinch the space above the bridge of your nose, close your eyes, and count to ten slowly. maybe this is all a terrible, terrible dream. but, as their voices elevate, as sanji keeps insisting that law is somehow trying to corrupt you — for the umpteenth time since the sunny left punk hazard — your tolerance diminishes. law barely hears a word sanji says, even though the latter gets in his face and restarts the same argument they were having before dinner.

“sanji,” you call out sternly, your voice carrying his name forcefully in the air, prompting the curly-browed cook to look over at you. his eyes widen a bit at the severity in your tone.

“i’m only looking out for you.” it’s the dejected look that seals the deal for you. it’s possible you’re much too soft-hearted to be a pirate, but you tug on sanji’s arm and half-drag him away from law. sanji is sputtering nonsense about how law is actually more devious than you realize, how there’s something off about the way he always manages to get you alone — and you listen, or you try to, but you can’t help but feel that sanji’s overprotectiveness is misguided in this instance.

and, no matter how many times you try to convince him otherwise, sanji won’t budge on his position.

it’s not like law can stop the cook from acting that way towards you; from what he’s gathered, you’re a runaway that found a home with the straw hats. your devil fruit power is fascinating, as are your medical skills — and as a surgeon, he’s impressed with your ingenuity — but he’d be lying if he admitted to those being the only reasons why he’s interested in you.

just like you, he has a tendency to keep things to himself; this, he tells himself later on, is an absolute necessity. one that he needs in order to safely navigate the mysteries surrounding your existence.

what initially starts as awkward, tense moments, quickly morphs into relaxed conversations, prolonged glances, and inside jokes. it’s a surprise, really; law isn’t the sort to easily let his walls down without putting up a fight, but you make it easy. it would be suspicious if he was being smarter about things; but he’s not, unfortunately.

during this time, his relationship with sanji takes a turn for the worse; to the point that the other members of your crew take notice and try to break them up whenever possible. it’s always the same argument, one that you’ve memorized and spit back at sanji in retaliation.

“you’re not listening, he’s a despicable man, y/n, really!” sanji’s concern does come off as genuine, even as he pulls out another cigarette to smoke, his agitation eating up any residual tranquility lingering in his body.

“uh huh,” you say, flipping through a dense textbook, the font small but legible. “you’ve yet to give me a reason, big brother.” you smile to yourself when sanji huffs and focuses on smoking for a moment. he loves pulling the surrogate, self-proclaimed older brother card at his leisure, but when you do it, it’s a problem.

not that he means anything by it; sanji is quite fond of you, in a way that he isn’t with the others. when you first join the straw hats, he recognized the grief that you carried on your shoulders — it mirrored his, in a way. so he sort of adopted you; it’s a sweet gesture that you’ve always appreciated. after leaving home, you miss having a family — and he cherishes you in a way your parents never did.

that warmth will never leave you, no matter how much time passes.

after his third drink, sanji points a finger at law accusingly. “you’re ill-bred,” he declares, cheeks flushed as he narrows his eyes at the pirate in question. he promised earlier to not start any trouble, but that all went out the window when he saw the two of you together — laughing, smiling, fingers touching more than necessary.

all he can think about is how he can’t fathom the idea that you might actually like law — and that the feelings might also be reciprocated.

law, having foreseen this conversation, but not doing a damned thing to prevent it from occurring, simply asks, “don’t you get tired of saying that?” because he certainly is. it’s not unusual for someone to be overprotective of their younger sibling, however you are also a functioning adult that is more than capable of making decisions for herself. no matter the consequence.

“i’ll say it as many damn times as i need to.”

the argument is a circular one, but because law’s in a good mood, he entertains it. “you’re being ridiculous.” the amount of energy the blond pirate puts into defending your honor is absurd, and has law pouring himself another drink.

“i’m warning you,” sanji jabs a finger against law’s chest, “i’ll kill you before you hurt her.”

at that, law snaps. “what the hell is your problem? i’m not trying to kill her.” if anything, law would reason that you’re the one killing him. he’s never been this enamored with someone before, so the uncomfortable, awkward feelings that swarm through him routinely are enough to scramble his thoughts. which only makes him more susceptible to sanji’s bullshit.

with narrowed eyes, sanji frowns deeply. “i don’t believe you,” he pauses when he catches you watching them from across the room, so he lowers his voice, “and one day y/n will see right through you, too.” he’d make sure of it.

while sanji busies himself with plotting against the allied pirate captain, you busy yourself with prying answers out of law. it’s not that he wants to keep things from you, but he doesn’t think confronting sanji will solve a thing. still, it’d be unfair if he kept you completely in the dark, so he feeds you bits of the conversation, enough that you get the picture. it’s not your fault, you know that, but you apologize to law anyway, and decide to talk to sanji again in the morning. maybe after the festivities are over, he’ll regain some of his common sense.

Riding the theme park's ferris wheel during the display was such a good idea to end the day. Looks like Jisung thinks so too.

"Woah, they went all out on the fireworks display, huh?"

The dynamic show looked so much better from up in the air. Images of budding-like flowers painted the sky with loud bangs, before dissipating into the dimming canvas. Riding the theme park's ferris wheel during the display was such a good idea to end the day.

"The view is so nice..." You commented, amazed at the various pops of color littering the atmosphere.

"You're my best view."

Snapping your head towards the source of the voice, you found Jisung staring at you with a soft smile on his face—looking like a lovesick fool. But while the sudden compliment was flattering, it caught you off guard.

Just not in the way one would have thought.

"Is that the meme?" Your face contorted into silent confusion.

Jisung groaned in defeat, sliding down dramatically to slump on the seat. "Damn. I was hoping you wouldn't notice."

"Dude."

"Bro."

"What the heck?" Jeongin speaks up from in front of the two of you—a mix of disgust and disbelief pasted on his face. "How are you guys even dating?"

"Oh yeah? And why are you even here?" Jisung retorted, crossing his arms with a frown. You lightly slapped his shoulder at his childish actions—earning a whine from your now sulking boyfriend.

"Excuse me? You two invited me here!"

"Right," you admitted, cringing. He had a point, you and Jisung did invite him on your date. "But obviously not in the same carriage…"

"So what am I going to do in a carriage alone, huh?" Jeongin pointed out, rolling his eyes at the both of you. Muttering to himself, he added, "This is ridiculous. I can't believe I signed up to be a thirdwheel."

"You could have said no, you know." You reminded him.

"Ugh. It's because I forgot you and Jisung were a couple now."

Jisung let out a strangled sound of offense at Jeongin's comment. "Do we not look like one?"

"For someone who just called their significant other 'bro', you're one to talk," The other guy scoffed, completely done with Jisung's antics.

This clearly didn't sit right with Jisung though, because if you knew one thing about him, it was that he was the type of person to take these things to heart—even if he knew he didn't have to.

Jisung's pride also shot through the roof at times. A trait you found attractive because of his confidence, but also annoying because he could be such a jerk during these episodes.

Eyeing him wearily, you noticed his nose scrunched up in distaste. He always did that whenever something was bothering him. But the kicker was not that. It was his obvious eyes—sparkling with brewing mischief.

That's how you immediately knew he was up to something.

"I don't know Jeongin," Jisung started, a bit too nonchalantly for your preference. "Personally, I think we look great together."

Jeongin grumbled at Jisung's words, taking it as the older bragging about having a romantic relationship. "It's not that you don't look good together. God knows how long we were waiting for the both of you to get together—Felix was literally about to try and mix some kind of love potion he found online into his brownies and force feed them to you."

Seeing that Jeongin was falling into your boyfriend's trap so easily, you sighed inwardly. There was no stopping now, so you just decided to let them be. They could fight as much as they wanted, for all you care.

"Then what's the issue?" Jisung pressed further, looking genuinely curious. He was executing his plan well with great acting—you had to give him that. Without noticing, you find yourself unconsciously smiling at his little plan.

"It's more so that you two don't act like one?"

And this was all Jisung wanted to hear, because the look on his face lit up a bit brighter. You had an idea of what he was planning to do, but with Jisung being Jisung, anything could happen.

There were small movements coming from Jisung's side of the seat, but before you could process what was going on, he had already seized your hands and quickly positioned them to wrap around his neck.

"Well, I hope this is enough proof."

As Jisung's face moved closer, Jeongin's cries of complaint started to fade into the background. Sure, you might be traumatizing the guy, but you could care less at that moment.

Because Jisung's eyes were exploding with so much love and adoration, overwhelming you with feelings that completely outshone the fireworks display outside.
