#you remember right yeah #years ago somewhere along the road I got really skittish and self-conscious about talking about my characters #I would draw them but I was really uncomfortable sharing any of their .... lore or backgrounds or such #the floodgates sort of collapsed late spring or early summer last year #I still get these pangs of embarrassement and hesitation and think “oh god this is humiliating this isn't relevant or useful”#“I don't know why I'm telling you this”#so it really truly boosts my confidence when people show interest in hearing about my dogs #and ask questions and give feedback #it means so much to me #answered #anonymous #it's an ongoing struggle because of course I want to talk about this stuff I think about them every day #but I'm also paranoid about coming across annoying and self-centered #you know?

#dc comics #dc #damian wayne #stephanie brown #tim drake #been drawing more self indulgent doodles lately which is nice #these r sort of a part of that lol #i drew the tim and damian one back when that stort actually came out it's. definitely interesting #if only for portraying Tim and Damian as equally flawed individuals (contrasted to the zdarsky batman for example)#AND unintentionally highlighted how low-key embarrassing it is that Tim is still robin. it's got a part two coming out sometime this month #and the Steph doodle was inspired by me rereading her batgirl run since the trade came out! and remembering how hard Lee Garbetts art slayed #but yeah while i figure out what to post and how- have this #the tim and damian one got like 3 likes on the bird app meanwhile the Steph one is at 1.3k w 93 bookmarks #say what you will about the bird app but when you get the right ppls attention that place does NOT have to be batboy centric #(or soley batboy centric. i like them a lot (damian mainly) but the variety is nice compared to here)

So your perception of what characters should look/behave like is based on things other people draw and write?

Yeah. I first discovered Texaid through fanfiction and then went to look for some fanart of it and then, like an absolUTE FUCKING IDIOT, assumed I knew what they looked like because I saw how other people draw them. When in reality I was basically drawing other person's design from memory this whole time??? And no one ever called me out about this until today?? Why no one told me sooner ohmyfuckingod I would stop this shit instantly

Guys. GUYS. Those Texaid designs belong to @disformer They were never mine. It's fucking important you all know that.

I'm going through all imaginable stages of grief rn I'm so sorry. I won't use the designs ever again. Stealing them wasn't my intention. I knew Vortex and First Aid as a rare pair never really had any interactions in canon so I didn't bother to do a proper research about them and just went with what I saw in fandom. I'll go search for my clown shoes now.

I see a lot of people upset about William Kaplan being dead and no one mourning him cus Billy stole his body and I just don't see it that way. The kid in Wanda Vision is Billy Maximoff, The teenager at the Bar Mitzvah is William Kaplan, the Teen that got taken to the hospital after the wreck is neither and both Billy Maximoff and William Kaplan. That Teen went home with the abilities of Billy Maximoff, to the home of William Kaplan, with memories of neither and lived there for three years. He cares about Rebecca and Jeff, he lied to the to protect them from pain, they are his parents. He wants to find Tommy, he has magical powers, he wants to know who he is. All of these things are true. I wouldn't say William Kaplan is dead he just doesn't remember, like Agatha wasn't dead when he was Agnes, she just didn't remember.
