if you fill a pool with gasoline and then go under the pool and the surface is lit would you burn or would being inside the gasoline near the bottom of the pool drowning save you?
#gas prices are so high that#you probably wouldn't be able to obtain#that much gasoline#in the first place#or wouldn't be able to because the FBI is after you for illegally purchasing a massive amount

Decoy [S. R.]
Spencer Reid x fem!reader
word count: 6.9k
summary: when you go after an unsub who catches students making out, the unit is called upon to resort to desperate measures. Or in other words, where you and Spencer become the decoy to catch a voyeur.
warnings: +16. Making out, mentions of alcohol, mentions of violence, insinuation of smut, sexual tension
Do yourself a favor and imagine Spencer in these clothes during the case
You sighed, completely frustrated, while you looked for the thousandth time at the blackboard with some information from the profile that you had made for the criminal in this case.
You believed that the unsub was a Caucasian man between 30 and 35 years old, whose motive was to spy on and photograph university students who were escaping in their cars to make out at night, then force them to have sex in front of him and finally kill them cold-blooded. You imagined that he was a person with a mediocre job, that he felt insufficient, and that his voyeuristic behavior probably came from sexual frustration, something that could be corroborated by the violence that he inflicted on the genital area of the students whom he stalked using a knife, his mark on all homicides. You also believed that perhaps the rejection or abandonment of his last partner (preceded by a bad streak from his youth) due to his impotence had been the triggering event for all his repressed impulses to come to light.
All the psychological analysis was fine, it wasn't something you hadn't seen before, but the hard part of all this? Because he only threatened and killed people, he didn't rape them, at first it was almost impossible to tell who it was. He already had 20 victims in total and you weren't even close to catching him. In the last scene he had made the mistake of leaving a fingerprint and Garcia had been able to trace his true identity: Oliver Davis, a guy who fits the description perfectly. Unfortunately, this turned out to be useless because beyond the accusations of being a pervert, the man didnât have much information that would give a clue to his whereabouts, you had even called the job that he had registered and all you had obtained was that he had several months without working there, which coincided with the beginning of the murders. After that Rossi suggested that he probably lived in a trailer (old, due to his lack of employment) where he developed the photographs and kept his trophies. That only made more sense when you thought that it would make it easier to transport or escape in case things got messy.
But words on paper and intelligent conclusions were of absolutely no use to you. You needed a plan to catch him.
"Do you have something, Reid?" Hotch had asked. You had already interviewed some students, you had set up guard duty to look for any suspicious behavior and you had even shared the photograph of the suspect in the media, but nothing had worked; The only thing left was to carry out the geographical profile to know the area in which he was attacking and thus be able to search for possible targets.
âI triangulated the locations we have of his previous homicides and I'm guessing he hits in this specific area,â he muttered, pointing to a space on the map he had on his blackboard with his middle finger. âConsidering it's an area frequented by the age group due to its proximity to the universities and that it has several parks that the students told us they use to drink or go out as a coupleâ
"So what?" Morgan said from his spot. "We just wait until he kills someone else and hopefully we're near the scene to hear the screams?"
âMaybe we can ask the cops to patrol the area for the unsub's car,â JJ suggested.
âHe's smart, there's a trailer park right here. It wouldn't be strange to find one on the streets as well.â Reid was visibly frustrated like everyone else and he ran a hand through his hair with some despair.
Your options were running out and frankly you couldn't think of anything else.
âAnd if we give him a target?â Emily murmured. Noticing that none of you said anything, she went on to explain her plan, âWe ask police officers to send any young people they see around to home so we force our unsub to get close to who we wantâ
"And what are we going to do? Hire a couple of college kids to stalk them?â
âWe can use our own teamâ
"Not to offend you, Prentiss, but we are no longer in the prime of youth"
"We don't, but Y/L/N and Reid do" when you heard your last name you were surprised, but when you heard your friend's you practically froze. First you looked at her and then at the doctor, whose gaze reflected the same stupefaction as you "You two are young, you might look like students"
"Are you saying you want to send us straight into the hands of a sexual predator?" you couldn't be offended, after all, those risks were part of the job, but you did feel somewhat reluctant about the idea.
âDo you have a better suggestion?â
âIt doesn't sound so badâ Rossi murmured âIt's a smart moveâ
âBesides, we would be watching around and we would intervene before that madman got close to you. Once we catch him, the photographs and personal items that he probably has in his trailer will be enough evidence, in addition to the fingerprint from the last crime sceneâ to your surprise, Derek was also pretty convinced of the plan that Emily had just devised.
"Reid, Y/L/N, would you guys be up for it?" Hotch exclaimed with his usual serious tone, looking at you and then at your partner.
Thinking objectively, the suggestion was very good. But thinking about it personally, you felt worried about the danger you two would be running into⊠oh, God. It wasn't until then that you realized that the plan to catch the suspect involved the two of you making out like a couple of hormonal college kids.Â
You knew that the options that remained wouldnât be as opportune as that and taking into account the temporary nature with which Oliver operated, in addition to the fact that he was already deteriorating as a murderer, it was most likely that he was already looking for new victims, so if you did that same night the chances of success were quite high. You were between a rock and a hard place and all you could do was look at him while the gazes of the rest of the room were divided between the two of you.
âI⊠I'll only do it if you say yesâ you exclaimed in his direction, with a cautious voice and a fearful look. You knew your friend and you didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable in any way, even though you knew that both you and he knew that your personal interests would take precedence against the possibility that another couple of victims would lose their lives if you refused. It was your job, you had to do it.Â
"Are you sure you guys are going to catch him before something happens?" Spencer asked your boss. You thought that with his background the last thing he wanted was to end up kidnapped or seriously injured again, even though the truth was that he was caring just as much about himself as he was about you. He had seen the photographs and knew that women were the most affected by the murder weapon⊠he didn't even want to imagine something like this happening to you.
"Of course. You will have communication with us and if something goes wrong we will get you out of there immediately" Aaron answered and your friend sighed nervously and then looked for your approval. You nodded slightly and he delivered the verdict, to which everyone agreed.
He was still standing, but after that he slumped into the nearest chair as he listened to everyone brainstorming ideas for setting up the scene, distributing the crew, and what they would tell the local police to do to make the decoy effective.
At some point you lost the whole point of the conversation, to start thinking about what was implied by what you were about to do.
The feeling of attraction for your co-worker had been latent in you for a couple of years, but you had never confessed it to anyone to avoid creating tension in the team or suffering the humiliation of certain rejection. Also, you knew that a crush meant distractions from what was truly important and you had tried, in vain, to eliminate it completely. But even if it hadn't completely gone, you had known how to control it, only allowing yourself to look at him with loving eyes from time to time and avoiding being too confident with him during group drinking outings. You even limited physical contact, not because you didn't like it but because you knew your greed would demand more and more of you until it became inevitable to beg for his touch. But now all that good work holding you back was screwed because in a few hours you would have to be passionately making out with him.
Still with the internal crisis, you raised your head to look at him and realized that he too had been submerged in his own tide of thoughts, which you hoped would be more positive than yours. At some point Spencer felt you watching him and when his eyes met yours he gave you that tight-lipped smile that was strangely comforting, to which you responded with the same gesture. After that it didn't take long for everyone to leave the room to fulfill their respective tasks, but you stayed seated because you honestly didn't feel enough energy to move. Besides, you had nothing entrusted to you, you were the bait.
"Hey, are you sure you're okay with this?" Spencer asked you, once everyone else had left. He looked so tired of everything, but at the same time there was a kind tone in his voice about him that made you smile.
âIt's just kissing, Spence. I think we'll be fine" you assured him, trying to swallow all your embarrassment and nerves "And you?"
"I agree. I just hope we get lucky today or we'll just have to keep tryingâÂ
"Reid, I need you to tell the cops what area we'll be in," Hotch interrupted you from the door. "You still have time to regret it," he added, looking at the two of you.
You immediately denied and after that Spencer withdrew from there in the company of Aaron. When you were about to drop you exhaled, completely concerned about the last thing your partner had said.
We will just have to keep trying. You didn't know if the idea excited you, or terrified you.
As night fell, Spencer drove the old pickup truck the unit had managed to rent for the two of you to drive into the park, with you in the passenger seat and a six-pack of beer in the backseat.
Although you were sure that it would be cold, you had decided to wear shorts and a button-down shirt that you normally wore for work, but that you had adjusted to make it look more youthful. Spencer was wearing an outfit that Morgan had gotten for him from a department store, simple jeans with a rather baggy cotton shirt and some nice boots that you didn't know where he got from, since in Quantico you had never seen him wear anything like that.
Both of you had showered at the hotel (separately of course) and you had made sure to brush your teeth and put on a good amount of deodorant and perfume before getting in the car. You had paid special attention to your appearance, not because it was necessary, but because you wanted to look perfect for him. Even with all this, you were a nervous wreck next to him, not saying a word along the way and only soft music from the radio filling the air.
When you stopped, the two of you put your headphones on to the channel the team was supposed to be on, and Morgan answered in the affirmative.
"Remember, he doesn't have to see the communicator or your weapon," Rossi spoke, who was also in the van, along with Prentiss and Hotch. "GarcĂa will be watching with the security cameras and he will warn us if the trailer is coming"
"And meanwhile what do we do?"
"Pretend to be a couple, sit on the tailgate and drink beer, laugh, I don't know"
âDid you ever run away like that in college?â you asked, directly at Reid.
âDo you remember that I was like 16 when I studied at the university, right? I wasn't even old enough to drive, much less a car" he muttered and you gave a short laugh "I guess you did"
âI was too busy being the best in the institution to even think about going out and making out with idiots,â you replied, proud of yourself for that. âI mean, it's not like you're an idiot, but they were. You're very smart," you rambled, still twiddling your fingers, "Hotch, you guys will tell us when we're going to start kissing, will you?"
âWhen the suspect approaches, yesâ
"Okay, well... then we have to go out, huh?" you muttered to him as you reached for the beers and tried to open the door to get out. You turned, expecting to see Spencer do the same as you, but noticed that he had lingered in the car for a moment, checking himself in the mirror and applying his lips with chapstick.
My God, could that man make you more nervous?
When he finally caught up with you, you went to the back of the pickup, where you opened the tailgate to sit down with a little hop. Spencer was tall enough to keep up with you just by leaning over the edge, where you watched him cross his arms. You were silent for a few moments, listening to the sound of crickets and cars in the distance.
"Do you think it's a good idea to drink?"
"Only a little. I'm having a hard time thinking while sober, I don't want to ruin the little reasoning I have leftâ you exclaimed as a joke. Or maybe you weren't joking so much "Just empty a couple of cans and leave them on the floor so he'll think we're really drunk." Spencer was about to do what you said when you noticed an important detail and called him over to look at you "Come here, let me fix your hair."
"What's wrong with my hair?"
"You're very well combed, it's not the image we expect" you carefully took his hand until it was close enough to pass the other through all his golden locks, messing them up enough to give him that relaxed touch that he should have. He looked so handsome, but not in the style of a fancy FBI agent but just like a young intellectual who went to parties and smoked weed âLike this. Perfect"
âDo you think we have to think of some backstory?â he asked and you looked at him with a frown. âYou know, something about us. What degree are we studying, what are our namesâŠâ
"This is not a play"
"It's rude to eavesdrop on conversations, Prentiss," you said visibly annoyed, although looking at your partner that expression softened "As you wish, Spencer. Although being honest, I would say that you study⊠literatureâ
"Really?" he exclaimed with slight enthusiasm. You knew that his mother had been a teacher in the subject and you wondered if he had ever considered it.
âMorgan wasnât wrong to choose those clothes for you. It suits youâ you complimented him and Morgan whistled from the other end of the line. You felt like you were having too much fun for the situation you were in, but you needed to talk about something else to put off the reminder of what you had come to do for as long as possible. âI think you would have that hopeless philosopher/romantic vibe who flirts by whispering memorized poetry in your ear.â
âI actually know some good onesâ
"Sure you do" you smiled gently, suppressing the thought of him sighing close to your neck at BĂ©cquer "I'd probably study science or something."
"The unattainable scientist with whom the captain of the soccer team has a secret crush, but she is completely unaware"
"Where did you get that? From a 90s movie?
Spencer's laugh was one of your favorite sounds and today that was precisely not helping your situation. You felt intoxicated by how handsome he looked, like you'd discovered a side to him that no one else had, and the thought of kissing him made you tremble a little with anticipation.
âDo you want to share a beer?â he murmured, carefully opening the can and offering it to you first. You knew your partner wasn't the most enthusiastic about doing anything that involved germs, so it made you feel good that he took the lead. You took a big gulp of the drink to gather something of value and when it was his turn to drink he kept looking at you intently, you would even say that he seemed entranced.
You had made sure you were in a strategic position, with enough light for the unsub to see you and quite lonely, except for the patrol cars and the van that had been positioned at a safe distance.
âHow does voyeurism develop?â you asked quietly, with genuine interest, as you shifted a bit to get closer to him.
âVoyeurism usually begins in adolescence and since during that age it is usually seen with greater tolerance, there are people who continue with these behaviors until adulthood. When voyeurism is pathological, they spend considerable time looking for opportunities to watch, often at the expense of not fulfilling important responsibilities in their lives, and people reach orgasm by masturbating during or after watching. Although if you think about it a bit, everyone is a bit of a voyeur."
"Why you said so?"
âMany men and women enjoy viewing pornography, which can be classified as voyeuristic behavior. It's not a worrying thing, but it's interesting to think about itâ he explained, with those expressions on his face that he had every time he shared knowledge with you. He liked that about you, that you were always willing to listen to his data and statistics even at the most inopportune moments.
"I'm still a little scared that Oliver is trying to do something to us."
âI have my gun. If he tries to do something to you, I'll use it" you knew that killing the unsub was always the last option Reid considered, so you widened your eyes a little to show your surprise "All lives are worth, but when that life has already taken so many and it puts you at risk, I would not doubt it. You have nothing to worry aboutâ he assured you and your heart warmed a little at feeling so protected.
"Do you know if Oliver attacks at a specific time?"
"No, he doesnât. Just as we can be here for ten minutes, we can also be here all night."
You exhaled loudly, before taking another gulp of beer.
âDrink some, boy. I feel kind of selfish around here."
"I am nervous"
"And why do you think I'm drinking?" you exclaimed wryly, still holding out the can to him, and when he finally agreed he drank a little more than you expected âHave you everâŠâ you started to say, but suddenly remembered that literally the whole team was listening to you. If the answer was embarrassing, you didn't want to hear Morgan and Emily taunting you all week, so you covered your microphone for a moment and spoke again, but so quietly that only he could hear you. "I suppose you kissed someone, did you?"
"Yes," he said quickly and you sighed with relief. It comforted you a little to know that it wasn't his first kiss, because you didn't want him to have such a bad memory âDo I look so inexperienced?"
"No, that's not what I meant" you smiled "You're handsome, I know you've probably kissed a couple of girls"
"You don't need to tell lies, you know I'll kiss you anyway"
"But it's not a lie. I really think you're handsome" you confessed, gathering all the courage in you, while you smiled at him in the most serene way possible "And if we weren't literally waiting for a murderer, you know I'd be happy to do this with you"
"Smooch me?"
"Having this bad date attempt, Reid," you hissed, flushing red, as you slammed your palm into his forehead with just a little bit of force. Spencer seemed quite pleased that he made you nervous, rather than the other way around, so he grinned, âThough I think we should have brought food. I'm starving,â you pouted, swinging your dangling legs back and forth.
"That's not a picnic, Y/N"
You hated for a second that everyone was so intent on the conversation. A part of you wanted a moment alone with the brunette, even if it was in the midst of such a strange situation.
You began to talk pleasantly about things completely unrelated to the case for a couple of minutes, staying where you were, until Hotch's interruption made you jump a bit in place.
"Garcia intercepted an approaching trailer, get readyâ your heart immediately sped up and you noticed him tense beside you, too, probably with the same thought flooding his head.
"Okay, come closer," you exclaimed, trying not to panic, as you spread your legs a little to allow the man to step into the space between. He wasted no time and just as you wrapped your hands around his shoulders you heard the sound of another car pulling up.
"Is that our unsub?"
"It is"
You were about to turn your head to peek when Reid grabbed your cheek and stopped you.
"He's smart. If you look at him, he'll realize itâ he reminded you with a serious voice. You were so worried about everything that you were forgetting about your training âOkay, so I⊠Is it okay if I put my hands here?â he asked with a different tone, nervously placing both hands on your waist. You had always admired the size and anatomy of those hands, but until now you had not had the pleasure of feeling them on your body in this way.
âTonight everything you do is fine. I promise"
"It would be a good time to start, he'll see you" Emily reminded you and you could only sigh shakily.
You two were adults, why were you so scared about kissing?
"Close your eyes" Spencer whispered to you, masking his nerves better than you "I'll kiss you, just close them," he asked you and you did.
You felt his body lean against you a little until his chest almost touched yours and then his lips shakily pressed against yours. You would always remember your first kiss, which in essence was such a brief caress that you didn't even know if it could be counted as one, the one where he wordlessly asked your permission to explore your mouth. Still with your eyes closed, you pulled him by the neck towards you and started a new kiss, a little more confident and deep this time, allowing you to savor the beer mixed with strawberries and that strange flavor that each person has.
âWeâŠâ you started to say, once you separated âyou have to do it slowly, what he wants is a showâ you exclaimed. Spencer felt unable to say any words and your hands caressing him so deliciously wasn't helping at all âSlow,â you repeated.
You arched your back a little to get even closer and when you finally looked up you met his caramel eyes. You needed a moment to recover and you unconsciously licked your lips, as if you needed to pick up and savor his presence in your mouth again, something that didnât go unnoticed by his attentive look at your movements.Â
It didn't take long for you to give up, as beginning the third kiss you felt that you no longer had any control over your body, your heart, or your mind. And while it was true that neither of you were experts on the subject, you guys managed pretty well as the seconds ticked by. Spencer gasped as he simultaneously felt you pull the hair from his neck and caress his lips with the tip of your tongue, while you were taken by surprise when his hands left your waist and lowered to the height of your hip, where his thumbs gripped firmly on the clip of your shorts.
There was a kiss, then another and another; they became too many to count. You didn't want to touch him anywhere and at the same time you wanted to touch him completely, in the grip of the fantasy that this was real and not just a performance. And even if you were aware that it was all fake, that would probably only have encouraged you to enjoy something to the fullest that you knew would never come back. Amid everything you didnât know which of the two situations would be worse.
The sound of your lips colliding became so obscene that you were embarrassed, but you had no plan to stop. Your hands slid gently down the length of his neck until you reached his chest and cupped the soft cotton of his garment in your fists to make sure he didn't move away from you. The heat of the moment just went up and up, but a voice on the intercom brought you back with a jolt.
âHe started the trailer. He's going to go"
Spencer closed his eyes in frustration, and you sighed. From the position he was in it wasnât possible to get around him without being seen, so keeping all his attention was on you and him.
Maybe you weren't doing it right? You wondered what the hell this man wanted to see if you were practically eating each other, but suddenly you remembered that his motivation was even more sexual than a couple of wet kisses. Maybe he was getting bored because he needed to see that you were about to⊠well, do it.
"Take off my shirt," you said immediately, still too close to his swollen lips and looking right into eyes that seemed to be pitch black.
"Take... what?"
"Take off my shirt" you repeated, with a tone that made the man shudder completely. With the hands that were still holding his shirt you pulled him to you and he held his breath âAnd kiss me better. Like you really want me"
But Spencer didn't need to pretend that he wanted you.Â
He made you completely dizzy when he began to kiss you so hungrily and you managed to keep enough composure when you felt one of his warm hands travel under your blouse, limiting yourself to letting out sighs that were drowned against his lips. But what finally caused you to let out an indiscreet and unwelcome moan was when he pulled you by the hip until you were on the edge of the tailgate and you could feel the growing bulge in his pants pressing against you. Spencer had almost managed to suppress his, but in the end, you having your own situation down there didn't help one bit.Â
His trembling fingers fussed with the buttons on your shirt until it ended up somewhere on the floor at incredible speed, leaving you half-naked before him and the collection of FBI agents standing around. You might have been embarrassed if your brain could connect two coherent thoughts, but you'd lost that from the moment Dr. Reid first dared to kiss you.
You carefully guided his hands to the beginning of the curve of your breasts and now you both sighed in unison, feeling goosebumps on every inch of your skin. You pushed yourself forward just for the satisfaction of hearing that guttural sound again and your prayers were immediately answered, for it was enough for him to feel the slightest friction and he would go crazy. It was inappropriate to need him like that, but you couldn't help it.
Holding your lower back, he leaned over you and at the same time pulled you towards him until your breasts collided with his chest. In that position, your neck was exposed and your partnerâs hot lips didn't hesitate to go down there, while you sighed agitated just at the height of his ear. Spencer asked you, between each kiss, to look in the direction of the trailer to see if he was still there and as you could you answered yes, which was victory enough for both of you.
As he could, he maneuvered to lay you down carefully on the cold metal of the truck without stopping kissing your neck, and by inertia you wrapped both legs over his hip. When you were hidden by the panels of the pickup he finally looked at you.
"I hope it's enough to get his attention," he said, sounding as agitated as expected, and although the circumstances meant that you two would be taking a break you flatly refused, pulling him back to kiss him.
That kiss did take Spencer by surprise and it was perhaps the sincerest of the night. It wasnât as passionate as the previous ones, but rather it was loaded with softness and you would even say that a hint of supplication. You were begging for him not to stop, for the night to get stuck in an infinite loop where the two of you could kiss for eternity. And suddenly you felt how he, who had been so tense the whole time, completely relaxed against you, as if he understood exactly what you wanted to say. His hands came to rest on the sides of your head to be able to kiss you more comfortably and you dared to take him by the waist with the same care that you were kissing him, feeling even above the cloth the softness of his skin.Â
And then he broke up with you. You feared you had done something wrong due to the suddenness of the movement and your frightened eyes searched his gaze for a sign of the reason, without finding anything. He just looked at you with something you couldn't describe, but that made you feel butterflies fluttering all over your stomach... and he stayed like that for a few seconds: just looking at you, as if he wanted to memorize all your features.
You opened your mouth to say something, but your words were drowned in a new kiss, totally different from the previous ones. Spencer was taking time with him, trapping your lower lip between his and sucking on it gently, pressing himself a little more against your body, sighing heavily into your mouth.
Your hand was already running up his side to make its way to his cheek just as screams filled the silence and you hugged him reflexively. The screams had come from Morgan, who had already moved across the park to take down the unsub and was now wrestling with him to get the knife out of his hand. Spencer hesitated for a moment if he should come over to help, but he preferred to hold you better against his body to protect you and wait for Emily to place the handcuffs on the man under her partner's knee.
From a distance you saw that he only brought with him, in addition to the knife, his camera, and a small backpack with some other murderous instruments that they managed to confiscate without any problem.
"All clear, we've got him," Hotch spoke over the radio. As you exhaled in relief too many emotions washed over you, combined with the adrenaline coursing through your body and the arousal still flowing into your crotch.
"Are you okay?" Reid's gentle voice called to you, as he pulled away to check with his eyes that everything was in order. His hair was messy and his lips were so swollen that it was almost painful to look at the image without launching yourself to kiss him again "My God, your shirt..." he said, completely embarrassed, as he bent down to pick up the garment. You looked him up and down and blushed when you noticed how tight his pants were, feeling your stomach turn a little. When he got up, he took the opportunity to look at your chest covered only by the black lace bra and a big gulp of saliva went down his throat.
You thanked him quietly and put your shirt back on, feeling the sneaky glances Spencer was giving you, just before Hotch walked up to you.
"How are you?"
"Very good, excellent" you stammered.
You could perfectly feel your swollen lips, the light sheen of sweat on your face, the heat flowing from all the places Reid's fingers had been, and the abundant moisture between your crossed legs.
After Hotch congratulated you on your performance, the two of you walked as best you could toward the rest of the agents, who were already placing Oliver on patrol. Another group was analyzing the trailer and they managed to pull out enough evidence about the murders that would be very useful in prosecuting the man.
"All good?" Emily asked in your direction, once things had settled down and the rest of the team had gathered in a circle by the van. You and Spencer just nodded at the question.
âI honestly think I'm going to need therapy after what I heard,â Dave murmured, so serious that you couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Don't you even dare make fun of this"
âNo, we won't. I'm just saying you guys seemed to be enjoying it there."
"That's supposed to be the plan, right?" Spencer said nervously, finally daring to look at you and looking away almost immediately as he smoothed his hair back.
Once your boss said you could retire you escaped in a patrol car as fast as you could, wanting to get home so you could take a cold shower and soothe what wasnât satisfied by the man. You could hardly sleep that night, still haunted by the ghost of the kisses you received from your gorgeous coworker, and the next morning you hoped that double coffee would do the trick. But apparently you weren't the only one who thought so, because at the same time that you arrived Spencer Reid crossed your path.
"Hey," he said, in that high-pitched voice that came out when someone caught him off guard, "How are you?"Â
"Fine, and you?"
"Fine too"
You knew that the two of you wanted to talk about what happened, but it only took one of you to have the courage to speak first. At the same time your phones rang indicating a message and you mistakenly assumed that it was JJ contacting you to announce a case. What was your surprise when you opened the file and found a collection of photos from the night before. You knew from Spencer's face that he had received the same thing.
"Garcia did you⊠did she send you the same evidence?"
"That's right," he said nervously. You had to admit that if Oliver had one quality it was that of a photographer: you were sensual and perfectly captured the desire that had existed between you. Well, the one you had pretended to feel⊠right?
Spencer held his breath as he came to a picture of you topless in which his hand was practically on your breast, immediately remembering how that had felt. He just hoped his memories didn't affect him too much or it would be embarrassing enough to walk into the boardroom with a boner.
"They're good," you said to the air and he suppressed a laugh "But I can delete them if that makes you feel uncomfortable"
âNo, no, I⊠I think I want to keep them too. After all, the bureau will have them in the files as evidence of the case, I prefer to have access tooâ
"I just hope she doesn't send them to anyone else, I wouldn't want to see my bra photos going around."
âI'll tell Garcia, don't worry,â Spencer murmured, rushing to type something on his phone.
While you waited for him to type you took another look, feeling your whole body heating up again at the memories. A part of you was grateful to have such material in your custody.
"I never thought of being the protagonist of an erotic photo session and here we are," you said ironically.
âSpeaking of whichâŠâ Spencer started to say, âNot the erotic sessions by any means, don't think I'm planning on inviting you to one or that, because it would be super weird and inappropriate, but I was thinking if⊠huhâŠâ
âSell them online? I thought so too, but it depends on how much profit there is. Garcia can help us find the highest bidder and not get charged for tampering with evidence."
"What? No!" he said, completely shocked, and you laughed because you got the reaction you expected with your joke "Why would we do that?"
âJust kidding, Reid. Those photos are something I prefer to keep to myself" you clarified and your smile made him feel shy "Seriously, sorry for interrupting you. What did you want to tell me?"
"What huh, yes, right. It's just that this morning I was thinking about what you said yesterday, about how under normal circumstances you would have liked to have a bad date with me, right? and it just kept spinning in my head, so I was asking if you wanted to go for a drink sometime. Not like a date, of course, I'm not saying it is if you don't want to. I can just be like⊠well, go get a drink. As friends"
Yesterday Spencer had practically eaten your mouth and now he was nervous about asking you out. So adorable.
âYou're not doing this just as compensation, are you? because you know that it is not necessaryâŠâ
âI do it because I want to. And I want to believe that⊠that I didn't misunderstand what happened yesterday."
You no longer even cared that it was unethical to date team members, or that if things went wrong, you would probably go into the worst of depressions. What mattered to you was that Spencer was interested in you, even if he had implied it, and that he was asking you out alone with him. Just the two of you, with fun and alcohol involved, without gossipy colleagues or mortal danger.
"Then I'd love to, Reid."
âWow, excellent thenâ he smiled, feeling lucky that you agreed âI know a great bar near here, the atmosphere is generally calm, I like it because they don't play loud music. What day is right for you?"
âI'm available any day you wantâ you responded genuinely, grinning from ear to ear just being around him. That was the effect Reid had on you.
It was stupid to try to deny that you were still attracted to him, especially since now you had a taste of what he could do with you. You wanted to kiss him again, of course, but you were also anxious to earn that completely adoring look you'd received the night before.
âToday?â
"Yeah, why wait?" you responded, more excited than you wanted.
âHey, I didn't ask you, but I wanted to know if I didn't go overboard with you last night. I mean⊠did something bother you?â
It was a smart move, you could see it clearly. It was obvious that Spencer cared about you, but you also picked up on his intentions to find out if you were interested in him too. Well, that's how it was from your perspective, because that probably would have been your motivation being in his place.
Even if it wasn't the case, you weren't going to miss the opportunity to take a little advantage of the situation.
"The kisses on the neck were something he definitely didn't expect, but they weren't unpleasant at all," you assured him, feeling your cheeks heat up again. "Did it feel good to you?"
"It did"
"So everything's perfect," you murmured, shrugging off the matter. But you both knew you couldn't see each other in the office and acted as if nothing had happened.
Something had happened. Those kisses had only fueled the tension that had always existed between you but that you wanted to ignore.
"Do you want to go after work, then?"
âSounds good to meâ
Spencer gave you one last smile and then went to prepare his usual cup of sugar with a dash of coffee. All day you were thinking about him and more than once he caught you looking at him, but you didn't even care.
So, at nightfall, with a few drinks on you and more courage in your body, you finally confessed that kissing was something you had wanted to do for a long time. You almost didn't believe it at first, coming from him, but when you finally accepted it, it wasn't hard at all to rush at him and kiss him feverishly. And this time there did not impede for you to give free rein to your desires, which led you to the soft mattress in your friend's house and kept you awake until a few hours before dawn.

We Care About You (Part II)
The aftermath that follows is a struggle for everyone to comprehend.

---------------------------------------------------------
The past few days have been hard for your mind to wrap around.
Ever since that particular incident you had while playing Genshin, you've been extremely hesitant to log back on. Now that you knew all the people of Teyvat were self-aware, you were scared to imagine what they thought of you.
"Have they been self-aware the entire time that I've been playing? Have they always been able to hear my voice whenever I spoke aloud? Do the Traveler and their friends hate me for forcibly controlling their movements and actions like puppets? If that's the case, wouldn't it be better for me to leave them alone without letting them know?"
It doesn't seem like there's any part of your day where you're not thinking about how to follow up with the world of Genshin Impact. In fact, it's gotten so bad for you that some of your friends have noticed your change in mood and asked if anything was wrong.
Knowing that this situation is not only unheard of but also impossible to comprehend for anyone, you simply told them that you were dealing with personal issues, which honestly isn't that far from the truth.
Eventually, you began to worry if some of the people in Teyvat would figure out a way to reach you beyond the computer should you not reach back to them soon. In the past, you would've laughed at such a thought. But now that you've witnessed the impossible, you didn't want to wait around and find out.
"If I'm going to continue playing Genshin, I should at least try and accommodate their needs and wants better."
As much as you didn't want to delay your return to Genshin any further, you felt that researching all of your current playable character's needs, wants, likes, and dislikes took top priority over anything else in your life right now.
...Well...besides your needs and wants.
First, you took note of their favorite and least favorite foods. You would feel pretty bad if you kept feeding them food that wasn't their preference. Especially since characters like Lisa and Ganyu were vegetarians.
Second, you took note of everyone's talents. While you know that some characters had passive talents which gave you extra dishes when cooking or extra materials when crafting, you felt that those jobs should be left to the professionals, such as Xiangling and Albedo respectively.
"Let's see. First off, I should probably remove the people in my party with full-time jobs, as they take priority over exploring with the Traveler. So I should probably replace any Knights of Favonius, Liyue Qixing, Tri-Commission Member, etc. However, that doesn't exactly leave me with a lot of options to choose from. Although Xiangling works for Wanmin Restaurant, she's currently exploring Teyvat for ingredients. I assume accompanying the traveler would be fine with her. Bennett works for the Adventure's Guild so that works as well. But that also leaves me with a Pyro-heavy party, which may pose a problem for enemies such as Pyro slimes..."
However, the more you spent time researching, the more pessimistic and depressed you began to feel. Here you were spending all this effort trying to accommodate to all the characters you've obtained without even knowing if they gave a single thought or care in the world towards you.
"...I never really asked if they wanted to join the Traveler's adventures. ...So...maybe I should just only use the Traveler...?"
You sighed deeply. This was not gonna be good for your mental health.
---------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile...
---------------------------------------------------------
The Traveler didn't know what to think.
On one hand, they were happy that [Y/N] was getting some much deserved rest. On top of that, they were also happy that they got to have a break from doing commissions all the time. But on the otherhand...
They were really starting to miss you.
This is the longest that they have gone without feeling your presence and they were starting to worry if they had accidentally scared you off due to that incident.
The incident that revealed Teyvat's self-awareness.
"...You're thinking about [Y/N] again, aren't you?" Paimon asked.
The Traveler chuckled sadly. "Is it really that obvious?"
"Kind of? Paimon thinks that's what everyone is thinking about."
They believe her. Zhongli, Venti, and a few others had reached out to them over the past couple of days for any news about [Y/N]. They were saddened by their expressions when they told them they had no news to give.
â...Y/N..." The Traveler sighed.
"Hmm?" Paimon hummed in thought, "What was that?"
"...To think that was their name all along. And to even think that they may be just as human as most people in Teyvat! Itâs honestly kind of relieving when you think about it.
Although they weren't going to lie. At first, they saw [Y/N] as an unknown entity that possessed them to do its bidding. It was scary at first, knowing that neither them nor Paimon were able to figure out a way to interact with or avoid it. However, after solving both Mondstadt's and Liyue's respectable crises and powering them up with newfound strength, they started to see you as a sort of companion similar to Paimon.
"Yeah, even Paimon is starting to miss traveling and exploring with them."
"Is that so?" The Traveler taunted, "I thought that at one point you were trying to prove yourself as the better guide?"
"Hey! Paimon told you already that she has proved herself as the superior guide time and time again." She exclaimed as she crossed her arms.
They laughed. It felt nice to tease Paimon like this to distract them from the lack of [Y/N]'s presence, but they were starting to feel like they couldn't keep this up forever.
"Regardless, Paimon hopes that [Y/N] comes back soon. Everybody will feel a lot better once they do."
The Traveler looked up to the night sky and watched the stars flicker with light. Paimon followed their gaze and gave a sorrowful frown.
"I hope so too."

Author Side Notes: I had an idea.
But in all seriousness, I'm flattered by all the positive comments, reblogs, and likes from the previous post. I only expected to get around 20 notes since it was my first post but somehow I've ended up at 800+ and counting? It's almost too much for me to handle lol.
As for the rest of this story, I've decided that it will likely take around six parts for me to reach its conclusion. We've got two down so far, so that makes four more to go. Of course, that's only if y'all want to read more.

Bulking Up pt 1
Ian, just the sight of him inspired conflicting emotions ranging from rage, to jealousy, to desire, to lust. Ian was the pretty boy of the office and the boss's favorite. He could literally do no wrong, and yet, I was probably the only one who knew what he was really like. See Ian and I went to college together and even participated in the same internship program. He and I also had to share the same job duties, schedule, and workload. Only Ian decided his time wasn't worth the work and decided it was up to me to do the work for both of us. Obviously initially I told him absolutely no way, but that all changed when he got some dirt on me.
Mr. Galveston was head of the law firm Ian and I worked at and if we were tasked with naming the first three words which came to mind when we though of him, it would be intimidating, big, and daddy. Despite running an entire firm and raising three kids, Mr. Galveston still seemed to have the time to run every morning and lift weights. It helped too that he was graced with the hairline of a 20-year old and the skin I'm sure he had to perform a ritual sacrifice to obtain. As you can imagine, I had spent many late nights fantasizing about him, he was prime spank bank material! Unfortunately those late nights alone were not enough for me and my stupid horny brain.
I may have definitely broken some HR guidelines. One day we had a meeting where Mr. Galveston had praised my latest work and it ended with a "good job son". My cock immediately got hard and I had to adjust myself as discreetly as possible. As soon as the meeting concluded, I had to excuse myself and run to the bathroom to pump one out. What I didn't realize is that Ian had followed me, peaked over the stall door and snapped a photo of me, hand gripping my cock and cumming all over the toilet bowl.
"Say cheese," he said to me. The cheeky bastard. I begged Ian not to tell anybody what I had done and he agreed, for a price. So, that was how I got stuck working later and later hours to get the work done for both of us, while Ian sat on his ass all day flirting with our female colleagues. And the worst part about it? If Ian in some weird twist of character told me to get on my knees and blow him, I would still say yes in a heartbeat. I mean, he was built like a god. 6 pack, veiny arms, pecs like an olympian. He was a fucking model and he knew it. Meanwhile there was me, pudgy, couldn't grow a beard to save my life, and just short enough for him to call me munchkin as he held his hand out for his work. I hated his guts.
It was a typical Tuesday night at the office and I had ordered myself a pizza, which I ate at my desk while wrapping up my work and about to start Ian's. I glanced at the clock. 6 PM. I should have been able to leave an hour ago, but got held up doing some data entry Ian was tasked with at noon. Now I still had a stack of papers for him to get started on. There was a rap of knuckles at front of my desk. I looked up to find Tabitha, the office kook. She was a nice enough woman, but she certainly didn't have too many people speak with her for a reason.
"Marty, what are you doing here so late?" she asked me. I swallowed my latest bite and cleared my throat.
"Just need to finish some things here and I'll be heading out. What about you?" I asked her. She sighed and twirled the medallion she always wore around her neck.
"Catching up from my vacation. Being gone a week lets things pile up. Oh, but what I wouldn't do to return to Europe in a second..." she droned on and on about her trip, which I had heard about three times already. But, she was also one of the few people to be genuinely kind to me, so I let her ramble while I set Ian's work aside.
"Oh and goodness! I almost forgot! How could I?" he said, startling me awake after I had zoned out. She pulled her purse forward and fished around in it before holding her closed hand out to me.
"I found this little beauty while I was out there. There's a small village out in the countryside which is said to be the ancient home of witches. I saw this and just thought of you," she said. She opened up her hand, and in her palm was... a rock.
It was a pretty rock, don't get me wrong. It shone and had shimmers of jade green crackling along it's flat surface. But again, it was a rock.
"Oh wow Tabitha that's... beautiful," I told her. She nodded, took my hand, and placed the rock in my palm.
"It's said to be a wishing stone. You hold it close to your heart, wish your deepest desire to it, and place it under your pillow. It's said those who are truly worth of their wish will have it come true."
I twirled the rock around in my hand before setting it on the desk.
"Thank you Tabitha, that's very sweet of you," I told her. I really was touched she thought so nicely of me.
"Well, make sure you have that wish be a good one. Maybe even get you out of here a little earlier next time," she said with a wink. "I have to go home to the cats though, you find your way out of here soon, okay?"
I waved her off as she went the door. I got back to Ian's paperwork, but found it hard to concentrate. The stone kept catching my attention. It was like it caught the light at every angle and shone its shimmering green gaze back at me. About an hour later, I gave up and left Ian's work half done.
Once I was home, I slumped on the couch and turned on some TV. I couldn't even focus on the most mindless of shows though. Every thought came back to the stone. I fished it out of my pocket and turned it through my fingers. Wish on the stone and it would come true, yeah right....
I could see my reflection in the window next to the couch and sighed. My glasses were askew and somehow I didn't notice. I adjusted them and saw a pudgy little geek, still in his work suit, too tired to even take it off. I pushed at my belly, which for the past few weeks kept pushing harder and hard to get out of this tight button down shirt. Sighing, I looked at the stone. Why not?
I wish... I wish I could have what Ian has.
Of course that's where my mind went. Ian had it all. Looks, charm, and now a little nerd doing all of his work for him. My eyes became incredibly heavy and it was like I got hit with a tranquilizer. No surprise, working late hours had become the norm. My hand slumped behind the couch cushion and not a second later, I slumped off to sleep.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ringing of my phone fluttered my eyes open. I grumbled trying to find it in the depths of the couch cushions. Eventually I found it stuck deep in the back. I held it up and turned off my alarm I had set. 6 am, perfect time to be awake. I tried to open my phone through half closed eyes. It had facial recognition, but the stupid thing couldn't catch on to my face. I retired a few times before it prompted me to put in the passcode. I fumbled with it some before finally getting in, and going over some emails. I stumbled off the couch and shuffled to the bathroom.
I had to find some Tylenol, I had a killer headache. I was just about to reach the bathroom when I felt something catch on my feet and force me down. I crashed to the ground and groaned. Fuck... what the fuck even happened? I turned around and saw my pants around my ankles. Or... wait what? I could see down my legs, which were half the size in girth, but twice the size in length. That's... a trick of the morning grog right?
I turned myself around to sit on the ground and looked my legs up and down. They were hairier than before, and the skin was taut with muscles spreading across the curvature of my calves. Holy shit what the fuck was going on? I panicked standing up, kicking off my pants in the process. Rushing to the bathroom, I threw the lights on and was met with Ian in the reflection!
Holy fuck!
I grabbed at my cheeks and pulled at them, which Ian mirrored perfectly in the reflection. Grabbing at my chest through the now oversized shirt, I patted myself, feeling a rock-hard torso in return. I gripped at the button and ripped it open, sending the buttons flying across the bathroom floor. I was met with Ian's muscles greeting me. Tracing my (Ian's?) fingers over them, I felt a shiver run down my spine. Oh my god, I was Ian! Almost instinctively, my fingers rubbed over his nipples and I could feel the same shiver race down my body.
I looked down and found Ian's cock flopping, not even attempting to be contained my XXL underwear that was at least three sizes too big now. My hand was trembling as I slipped the boxers down and found his veiny cock fly almost wildly.
It had just as many veins as his arms did and was almost as thick as them it felt like. I took my new hands and gripped the shaft, it felt so natural to be holding on to it. Even a couple of strokes in and I found out that Ian was quick to precum. My new cock was instantly lathered up as I slicked it back and forth, each pump making his cock feel even girthier somehow.
I laid one of his hands down on the bathroom counter and looked at myself. Ian was hunched over, stroking his cock and smiling mischievously at me.
"Oh fuck daddy, that feels so good," I said without even thinking. "Ohhhh... FUCK Mr. Galveston, pound my tight hole!" I yelled. I thrusted myself back and forth, fantasizing about my boss bucking my hips as he plowed his thick daddy dick deep into Ian.
"Harder! Faster! That's right sir, breed meeeeee," I begged. I bit my lip and made Ian look back at my pathetically. Oh if I could only get Mr. Galveston to ACTUALLY fuck my new hole, make me his little bitch. I pumped harder and harder, fucking my new hand. I could feel the cum build until eventually climax hit.
I let go of my cock and moaned as loud as I could, feeling Ian's cock spray his delicious cum all over the bathroom. It was like a fire hose was set loose, letting streams spray around the room. Each bit hit harder than the last. Eventually I was left standing in the bathroom, breathing heavily and watching as Ian tried to stand up straight after spraying his essence everywhere.
Once I got control of myself again, I peered into the mirror and saw through the drips of cum, Ian's face elated. I couldn't help but smile at my new face and body, now ready to take on the world. I stuck my tongue out and lapped at the cum which was beginning to run down the mirror's face. It tasted so fucking good, like pure masculinity was captured in a liquid state.
Watching Ian become my little lap dog at my bidding made me horny all over again. This was just me going solo, wait until I use my phone to download Grindr and see what fresh pieces of meat want a slice of Ian! Speaking of my phone, it started to rumble on the counter. I picked it up and my heart sank, it was Ian. I cleared my throat, trying to emulate my old voice before answering.
"Uhh.. he-hello?" I choked out.
"What did you do you son of a bitch?!" Pierced through the other line. I coughed again.
"Ian? What's going on?" I asked.
"Like you don't fucking know! What do you look like right now? Who the fuck are you?!"
I recognized the voice, it was mine! Oh shit, I didn't just become Ian, we swapped!
"Ian, I gotta come clean, I'm you," I told him. What was the point in hiding it?
"What. Did. You. DO!?" He screeched. Damn, was my voice always that high pitched? It was whiny and pathetic.
"First off, I didn't do anything! I just woke up and found myself like this. Secondly, calm down, we'll figure this out. Just... just get dressed and get to the office. We'll figure it out there, we need to act normal," I told him.
"Oh yeah fucking right! What the fuck am I supposed to wear? All I have here are my clothes and your fat fuck of a body sure as shit isn't going to fit in them!"
"I'm sure you'll figure it out," I said. "Listen, the sooner you get there, the sooner we figure this out. Better get dressed munchkin." Calling me by my old nickname felt empowering in some way. Before he could retaliate, I hung up the phone on him. Looking at myself back in the mirror and grinned back.
"Yeah, like I'd ever give this up," I said. But, I should probably get dressed and meet up with him. Looks like it's going to be a fun day. Now, let's see if I can find anything tight enough to show off this body.

Arthur travels back in time to save Merlin (from becoming a tree) AU
LINKS TO THE OTHER PARTS OF THIS AU HERE: PART 1 , PART2 (You're here) , PART 3
The king of Camelot goes to visit his magic tree before his next battle. This isn't new. He always visits it. But it will be the last time he does it.
Arthur: (caressing the bark of the tree with a hand)It's finally time. I'm sorry it took so long. (sighs) And I'm sorry I have to do this.
He knows he's being selfish. Camelot is better than ever, his people is happy and yet he's going to war, risking this era of peace. A war he knows he won't come back from. But it's necessary.
Gwen: (arriving) Arthur...
Arthur: I won't change my mind, Guinivere
Gwen: I know. I just want to understand. Arthur, why? The price is too high and the chance it might work too slim. And even if it does work, you are risking that everything you know, everything you built will never happen.
Arthur: It's a risk I'm willing to take. I can prevent so many things from happening, not only Merlin's fate, but Gawain's, Elyan's, Lancelot's-
Gwen: Don't pretend you're not doing this just for him, Arthur, I'm not a fool.
Arthur: ...
Gwen: He wouldn't want you to do this. And you know it.
Arthur: Yeah, well, he didn't care about what I wanted when he made that stupid deal.
It's been ten years since Merlin saved his life and was cursed to be a tree forever as a payback. He was now a majestic beautiful tree in the royal garden and the most valuable national treasure in Camelot due to its magical properties: It could give fruits with the ability to cure all ills and the most serious wounds, but also could give ones with the most letal poison. Its wood was the finest. Once it let some branches fall for its king before an important battle and the weapons that were made with them are still as good as new to this day. Though Arthur did his part, he knows Camelot probably would not have obtained the title of the greatest, richest and most prosperous kingdom if it weren't for his Merlin.
However, not everything was sunshine and rainbows. Like every treasure it was also coveted by everyone who wanted to use it for their own selfish purposes. Kingdoms envious of his power sent spies to try to steal its fruits, its branches and even to try to cut it down to leave Camelot defenseless. Others even tried to invade Camelot just to posses the magic tree, but Camelot's army was the strongest in all Albion so they never could and soon they stopped trying.
There was a time they almost got too close though. Once Arthur found a man holding an ax stuck deep in Merlin's trunk. He has gone so mad with fury, he almost beat the man to death if it weren't because his knights stopped him before he made the final blow. He was still livid after that, but he let Gwen handle the man's trial, because he knew he wouldn't be reasonable in the state he was in. In the end the man was sentenced to beheading. It was what the law decreed since touching the King's tree was by law an act of treason. The king who sent the spy had to make a public apology and give monetary compensation to avoid a war. Arthur did make sure the spy's head was cut of with his own ax though. Later, when he was alone with his tree, Arthur cried because he almost lost Merlin again. The king apologised to him over and over again between sobs and cried until he fell asleep at the tree's roots.
It was then when it hit him. One day he would die and there won't be anyone to protect Merlin from greedy people who will only use his power for their own gains. Merlin would be at his new owner's mercy and the one after that, and the one after that, forever without being able to do anything about it. The mere thought made Arthur sick to his stomach.
No, he won't allow that to happen.
Gwen: (with teary eyes) Aren't we happy?
Arthur: Don't say that. You have always made me happy.
Gwen: (laughs weakely) But he made you happier, didn't he?
Arthur: ...
Gwen: You never told me. Which were Merlin's last words.
Arthur: I love you... he said I love you.
Gwen: Oh... (smiles) I get it now. Alright I'll help you. Just promise me something.
Arthur: Anything.
Gwen: Don't feel bad if you can't prevent other people from dying. In fact, you don't have to do it. Just save Merlin.
Arthur: But-
Gwen: No, you have done so much for this kingdom and sacrifice so much. (cradling his face) You owe us nothing and you owe me nothing, alright? Just be happy.
They hugged each other tightly and they share their last kiss and I love you before Arthur finally went to bloodiest battle he'll ever had in his life. And, after killing 100 hundred enemy soldiers with his blade, the king of Camelot died at the early age of forty.
Later Percival and Leon retrieve the king's corpse and bring it before their queen who doesn't share a tear despite being broken inside. She orders for his late husband to be buried next to his tree instead of burned in a pyre, proclaming that's what the king would have wanted. The real reason however is more complex than that.
The night after the funeral, she secretly brings the druids her husband consorted for years to the royal garden for the ritual to be made. Before the tree, as was planned, is the Ancient Round Table of the Ancient Kings.
Druid1: A sword with the blood of 300 hundred man.
Gwen: (gives excalibur to him)
Druid2: Three dragon scales.
Percival: (gives them to her)
Druid3: And the corpse of a king. We have everything.
Leon: Will this really work?
Druid1: This ritual had only worked once in the times of the ancient kings and only because it was done by three of the most powerful sorcerers of that time. We are not that powerful.
Druid2: However, we have a great magic source (she points the tree). So it might work.
It worked! That's Arthur's first thought when he opens his eyes again and finds himself in his room 20 years younger.
....
HIII!! First of all I want to thank you all for giving the first post so much love! I was truly shocked because I didn't think the AU was that good, so I'm really glad you liked it. I hope this kind of sequel/prequel? was of your liking too.
I don't think I'm going to make this a full fic yet, but I can make snippets like this about this AU until then.
What else would like to see happening in this AU? Let me know in the comments or reblogs ;)

say you like me.
megumi fushiguro x fem.reader
{ if you like me, then say you like me. }
being around megumi fushiguro made you incredibly nervous.
he was handsome and tall, with ebony locks of hair that fell perfectly across his face. each time you would inadvertently meet with his gaze, you found yourself becoming spellbound by his emerald green eyes.
your friends would laugh at your every panicked expression when megumi would walk past you, sometimes brushing his shoulder against yours as you swore you nearly fainted. your heart just couldn't calm down when he was near.
"it's so obvious that you have a crush on him." your friends would laugh at you, clearly stating what was painfully obvious, but of course you would deny having such feelings for him. if you were to admit that you did like him, then your friends would try and convince you to confess to him.
and you had no intention of ever letting megumi know about your crush on him. you didn't wish to burden his life with your meddling emotions-
so you did all that you could to avoid him; to ignore that surge of joy each time he was near, your emotions seeming to run on high each time he was in your periphery.
but there was no way he would ever notice a wallflower like you.
being so caught up in your wistful thoughts, your feelings became soft as you had the sudden urge to read a romantic story. with your assignments completed and your school day finished, you began to make a dash toward the library.
since it was already late in the afternoon, the library was empty, and you were excited to find a few books that would suit your desires. you crept across the various shelves, completely lost in your own world. when you found the shelf you were looking for, you allow your eyes to eagerly scan at the selection.
that's when you saw it- a book settled on the very top shelf. it had a rose colored cover and an appealing title, one that promised you the type of love story you were craving for.
however, there was one slight problem-
it was a bit too high for you to reach.
trying to bite back your disappointment, you slowly stood on the tip of your toes, trying to see if you could somehow reach your desired book. when your fingertips could only grace at the book's lower spine, you half considered using a chair as your stepping stool-
that is, until you felt a lean chest pressed on your back, the unknown person brushing up against you as they easily took the book out of the shelf.
you face the kind student, ready to thank them when your words immediately died against your lips. standing before you was megumi himself. he held a blank expression on his face while extending the book out to you.
"did you want this?"
"y-yes!" you squeak out a reply, taking a hold of the book, your fingertips casually brushing against the palm of megumi's hand as you fought back the heat threatening to dye your cheeks. you let out a rushed "thank you!" before moving away from him.
the blood was felt rushing to your ears when you met with the librarian, making a quick work of checking out the book in hopes that megumi wouldn't catch up to you. despite how you couldn't see him, you could hear his footsteps approaching you. once you were able to obtain the book, you thank the librarian and began to quicken your pace out of the library.
please go away, please go away. just go home, just go home.
you mentally prayed that megumi would leave; that his footsteps weren't behind you at all and that you were probably just hearing things. as you made your way around the hallways, you felt a strange sense of relief coursing over you at the sight of the exit just a few feet away.
you were close to pushing through the door, making your quick getaway back home when a large hand was felt encircling your wrist coupled along with a grunt of your name.
"it's dangerous for you to go home alone like this." you let out a sharp gasp, being pulled back gently as you heard megumi's voice ringing within your ears.
"i-i'll be fine! you don't need to worry fushiguro...!"
your poor attempt at convincing megumi was evident as a scowl was seen on his face. "it's just... let me walk you home."
your mind was spinning, and you weren't sure how you were going to handle spending the next thirty minutes of your life with megumi. "i-i probably live opposite of where you are, so it's okay. you don't need to do this."
the boy continues to shake his head at you. "it'll be fine, come on."
without saying another word, he leads you out of your school, keeping your hand in his as you clutched at your book to your chest.
the walk to the train station was silent, with megumi never once letting go of your hand. as you waited for the train to arrive, you notice the way the girls from neighboring schools seemed to gawk and blush at the sight of megumi, calling him incredibly cute as they debated whether to ask for his number or not.
yet megumi seemed oblivious to it all, still keeping his grip on your hand even as the train arrives. with the locomotive quickly approaching, megumi tightens his hold on you, as if silently demanding that you stay still and by his side while the train stopped.
only when the double doors slide open did megumi step forward while taking you with him. he takes a hold of the handrail while asking you what your stop was. you tell him the name of your stop, with megumi nodding in response.
suddenly, the train begins to move, jolting you forward as you nearly lost your balance had it not been for megumi keeping a steady hand behind your back. "hang on to me..."
by now, your heart was pounding, making it race as your cheek was pressed against megumi's chest. you didn't know how or why megumi could act so nonchalant about all this, whereas you were close to dying from the intensity of it all.
you continue to cling to him, holding on to him for dear life as the train sped onwards. you bask in his warmth and the faint scent of his cologne, feeling so content while in his embrace. almost too soon, your stop has arrived as the doors open for you to exit.
you figured that this would be where megumi would leave you, but he didn't. he continues to hold on to your hand, leading you out of the train as he walks with you out of the station.
the walk to your neighborhood was uneventful, but before you could make the turn to your home, megumi suddenly takes you to the side. your mouth turns dry, and you were suddenly pressed against one of the concrete walls.
his breath was felt against your heated face, and you could see his large hand gently brushing back the strands of your hair. there was a solemn expression on his face when his fingertips touch at your parted lips.
"why are you so afraid of me?"
you had to break eye contact with him, your heart pounding so relentlessly now that it was getting harder to breathe.
"i-i'm not afraid of you..."
"then why don't you ever look me in the eye?"
megumi's hand was felt gently against your chin, with him tilting your face upwards so that he could see your eyes. the more you looked at him, the more you could see how soft his gaze was, as if filled with a yearning for something.
"why don't you ever want to stick around when i'm close?"
megumi leans closer to you, lips brushing against your skin in a kiss that was no heavier than dew.
"why don't you ever stay when i want nothing more than to have you near me?" megumi leans back for a mere second, looking down at your lips before coming closer to you.
your shaky sigh of his name was all you could manage, allowing yourself to cling to him when he carefully moves his lips against yours in a brief kiss, one that was enough to make your heart soar as you spilled your secret to megumi the moment he moves away.
"i-i like you so much that you make me nervous. and when i get nervous, i don't know h-how to act when you're near."
megumi's eyes widen upon hearing your confession, but then his look of surprise was quickly replaced with a genuine smile.
"silly girl, if you like me, just say you like me, too. don't torture me like that anymore." megumi sighs, wrapping his arms around your back as he brought you achingly closer to him, with you grinning like a lovesick girl when you felt him pressing his lips against your hair in a sweet kiss.
and as you were surrounded by the comforting scent of him, you realized that you had the perfect love story all along.
{ it's time to fall into my arms, because i've been waiting for too long. }

Could Phineas and Ferb kill Macbeth? I think itâs possible they qualify for a special exemption, due to the fact that they have a probability field around them that allows their plans to always come to fruition (As revealed in the Milo Murphyâs Law crossover episode)
(Bonus, Perry the Platypus definitely could because platypuses lay eggs)
I'm pretty sure the point of Phineas and Ferb's "Probability Field" is that it allows them to achieve the best possible outcome for their plans, not just that their plans automatically work, and I think that's a very important distinction here. Like, if Phineas and Ferb decided to speedrun Minecraft, for example, they could get the exact number of Ender Pearls that they would need from Piglin trades, but they wouldn't be able to just obtain End Portal Frames from them because that's fully impossible with the mechanics of the game.
There are many times in the show(s) where P&F are described to have done something "impossible," such as time travel, though in-universe, it's more likely that these feats were really just extremely statistically improbable. When it comes to Macbeth's prophecy, the implication is that it is entirely impossible for a man of woman born to kill Macbeth, not just statistically improbable.
So, since both of them are male and presumed to be naturally born of women, I'm inclined to say no, Phineas and Ferb from the eponymous Phineas and Ferb could not kill Macbeth.
(Perry could, but we've already covered him)
Thank you for your submission!

Summary: I'm the one who can be your Goddess...
N/A: Sorry about the language mistakes!!! Requests are open!!! I'm waiting yours!!! I love you all!!! :))
I never asked for mercy, I never demanded a place in this world full of shadows, but still, I got it. I can't complain about obtaining eternal life. I don't even have the right to protest about the horror that the gift of the Gods did to the scar on my face, about how they had fun transforming my body. A life of eternal youth, of power, of having the ability to influence others, to scare them, to make them fear me...
After that second chance, I thought that loneliness was over, but it was just an illusion, a passing thought that never came true. Over time I realized that maybe that was my fate; that I, Donna Beneviento, was born to be a Lord and not a normal, ordinary woman.
My madness existed long before the Cadou, and it continued to exist after. If I was a hermit before, I was a monster now. I didn't really care too much if those poor villagers thought that way, they could call me whatever they wanted.
With a snap of my fingers I could make them suffer, punish them even if I had no reason to do so. Yes, it was funny to play with the lives of those perfect fools, but even that small thrill of creating nightmares in their minds stopped being funny.
Loneliness consumed me little by little without me being aware of it. Thanks to Angie, I was able to bear this new life better, but that had one big difference: I couldn't escape from this life.
Years passed and nothing changed. I began to understand what it meant to be someone like me, to be feared. I never sought out contact with other people. I never wanted to end that loneliness, until I met you.
If I had acted the same way as always, that is, making a stupid excuse not to attend Mother Miranda's sermon⊠Well, I probably wouldn't have met you.
You were a strange, but beautiful girl. That was the first thing I thought. My black veil protected me from the horrified gazes of those stupid villagers, but it also protected you from seeing me looking at you.
A young girl who wasn't afraid to kneel before the Black Gods, a beautiful growing woman who clasped her hands to pray for her salvation. It was impossible for such a sight not to catch my attention. After all, any kind of contact was new to me, any strange feeling I had when looking at you was a new discovery.
It wasn't love at first. I could say it was more like... Fixation.
My siblings were always clear about their position in the village. They always knew they could do whatever they wanted with those poor souls. Sometimes I wondered what would have happened if I had given in to my instincts, if my approach hadn't been silent.
You would only be one more victim, I would have terrified you. I would have never given you the chance to try to get to know me.
I would have had you, I would have taken you as I imagined so many times in my lonely nights, I would have enjoyed your body but⊠I would have lost you.
I would have lost that warmth your smile transmitted, the touch of those soft hands, that tender look⊠I couldn't say if it would have been worth possessing you, claiming you as mine as soon as I met you.
But the good side of my conscience, the side that had not yet been conquered by the demons of my madness was the one that guided me, the one that forced me to repress my primary desires, the one that showed me the right way to have you and never lose you.
Love was always a mystery to me. I couldn't understand what made people feel weak in contact with others. Yes, I had read a lot of novels that talked about it, I knew it existed, but I needed to see it to believe.
Your smile never faded, not even the day I looked for you in the church, when I heard your beautiful voice for the first time. Your voice sounded sweet, much better than any nightmare scream, than any call for help.
After meeting you, I realized how wrong I was about my impure thoughts. Love existed, it lived in you.
Neither my face nor my body stopped you from looking at me that way, one that drove me even crazier, that made me feel like I could fly, that my loneliness had an expiration date.
It was hard for me to understand what an angel like you could have seen in a demon like me, but⊠Yes, love could do those things. Admitting that I loved before kissing you was difficult for me.
My sister said that love was weakness; that any desire I had shouldnât interfere with absurd feelings. I didn't listen to her.
It didn't take long for you to live with me, to give in to my pleas. You were so sweet, so tender, so⊠You.
Then I understood what my sister didn't understand, the difference between loving and satisfying, between asking and taking. Did she ever feel that way about one of her maids? Well, I can't deny it outright, but I'm convinced that she didn't.
Asking you for a kiss was much better than stealing it from you. Caressing your hands was much better than tying them behind your back. They were free to touch me, to slide over my skin in the same way, it was an incredibly pleasurable sensation.
Taking your innocence was much better than stealing it from you, making love to you was much better than raping you, than letting the darkness inside me claim your body.
Enjoying the dance of our bodies, that unmatched feeling of being inside you and looking into your eyes, watching the sparkle in your gaze as you burned with pleasure couldnât compare to hearing you scream, beg, fight against my attacks.
For once in my sad life, I think I did the right thing, and I don't regret it, nor will I ever regret it.
â(Y/N)?â I asked walking towards the kitchen, where your sweet humming echoed in the walls, like a voice that guided me to you, as an indication that it was not a dream, that love had come into my life, and would never leave, would never dare to do so.
(Y/N), if you ever dared to even think about leaving me... I would lose my mind, I would hurt you...
âDonnaâŠâ you said laughing, protesting the kisses that attacked your neck, the effusiveness that my body had every time I saw you in the morning. âHey, I'm making breakfast.â
I laughed the same way, pushing the hair from your neck and kissing it before leaning on the counter, hypnotized by your beauty, by your way of being.
Sometimes I wonder what you could see in a monster like meâŠ
âDid you sleep well, tesoro?â I asked innocently, without being able to take my horrendous eye off your figure, off that elegance you had, which made no sense in a simple villager like you.
Could love turn a commoner into a princess?
âOh, yes,â you answered with a soft voice, focused on that magnificent breakfast. âThanks to the Black Gods and Mother Miranda.â
âAhem,â I cleared my throat in a playful way, looking away, pretending to be offended.
âOh, and to you, darling, of course,â you said, running a hand through mine as an apology. âHow about you?â
âIâm fine,â I said dryly, looking away.
Nothing you had said could make me angry or cool down the desire I had every morning to love you, but there was something, something that sounded in my head like a tedious loop, and that had been doing so for a long time.
âOkay,â you whispered, nodding with a smile. âOh, could you go up and set the table?â
âSure,â I said, kissing your cheek quickly, coming out of that strange moment, one that was becoming more and more evident.
âYou are an angel, did you know that?â you said before I disappeared through the door, forcing me to stop with an involuntary smile as I shook my head.
âThat's not true,â I said, trying not to let the darkness take over my words, not to let the demons out of the cage I made for them. âBut, thank youâŠâ
I went up in the elevator like every morning, reflecting on how my life had changed. My hands trembled involuntarily when my mind took charge of worrying me, of taking me out of that paradise to take me back to hell.
My life with you was perfect but⊠Did perfection really last forever? That was, of course, my greatest fear.
Happiness was fleeting, or so they used to say. I try to keep those thoughts away, but sometimes it's complicated.
I know what I am like, I know I am⊠Possessive, jealous, I don't allow you certain things that should be normal, but I can't help it. Losing you after having raped you would have been horrible but⊠Losing you when I already know the love you can give me, when I know how your kisses, your caresses feelâŠ
Hell could not compare to that. I would surely hurt you, make you suffer, but you wouldnât feel the damage, it would be torture for me.
âHey, you, buongiorno!â Â a shrill voice managed to wake me from those horrible thoughts, from those imaginary scenarios in which your smile no longer adorned your face and you begged for compassion.
Luckily, Angie had always been with me. She was conscience that was part of me and at the same time was so different⊠I wonder if the doll my father gave me stole that part of my personality that never dared to come to light.
âYou?â I said with a smile, picking up the doll from the floor and putting her disastrous clothes on, something that always comforted me. âBuongiorno, Angie.â
âWhere's the fool?â the doll asked, peeking over my shoulder, looking at the elevator hallway.
âDon't call her that, you know I hate it,â I protested, frowning and leaving the puppet back on the floor.
âFool, fool, fool,â she repeated mockingly, making me roll my eye as I walked to the cupboard. âCan't I say she's a fool?â
â(Y/N) isn't a fool, stop making fun of her,â I said in a somber tone.
No one could ever insult you, no one.
âHey, hey, hey, Donna, Donna,â Angie said, tugging on my dress impatiently. I snorted, but stopped setting the table to look at her. âDo you know what that silly⊠I mean, (Y/N) made me do yesterday?â
âAngie, per favoreâŠâ I sighed again, with a serious look, pushing the puppet away from my clothes. âLeave me alone.â
âThat silly girl made me pray, can you believe it?â Angie said climbing onto the table to get my attention even more, something she was mysteriously an expert at.
âPray? You?â I asked curiously, with a mocking smile.
âYes, me, that silly girl said I had to show more respect for Mother Miranda,â the puppet explained and I frowned again.
âYou have no respect for anyone,â I whispered, meticulously placing all the plates and cutlery, not paying attention to the dollâs complaints. âJust do what she tells you.â
âOhh, I seeâŠâ Angie murmured, shaking her head, crossing her arms. âSo you defend her, huh?â
âOf course I defend her,â I said seriously, straightening the tablecloth. A perfect table for a perfect girl⊠as expected. âYou know how devoted she is.â
âYou only defend her because you play baby-making with her,â she protested unpleasantly, making me look up and growl.
âBasta, Angie,â I said in a stern tone. âI don't know where you learned all that rudeness.â
âFrom here, silly Donna,â the doll said, hitting my head, making me protest again.
âUghâŠâ I complained about the blows. âStay still, will you?â
âYes, yes, yes,â Angie mocked. âIt must be very hard for you to be the second, right?â
âWhat are you talking about?â I asked confused.
It shouldn't be difficult for me to know how to interpret the doll's words, but she knew very well how to confuse me.
âThis morning she rejected you again,â Angie said, getting down from the table. âI know.â
âWhat? Well, she didn't exactly reject me,â I said, remembering that moment when I woke up and my body was begging to be released by your caresses, by yours⊠âShe just doesn't like me to interrupt her while she prays.â
âOf course, of courseâŠâ the doll mocked me again, making me snort tired of her attitude. âOh, Mother Miranda, yes, Mother Miranda⊠I prefer to pray to you than to let Donna stick herâŠâ
âTaci!â I shouted furiously, clenching my fists on both sides of my hips, breathing heavily. âStop saying stupid and rude things.â
âSorry, Your Majesty,â she said with an ironic tone, pretending to bow. âAdmit it.â
âWhat?â I asked, shaking my head and waiting impatiently for you to come up, to free me from the accusations of the doll.
âIt bothers you,â Angie said with a proud tone. âThat the fool ignores you because she spends most of her time praying to Miranda bothers you.
âIt doesn't bother me,â I said, sure of my words. âShe is free to pray as much as she wants.â
âHonestly, it would bother me,â the doll commented, with a calmer tone.
It wasn't possible, it was simply not possible for my doll to be able to navigate each of my thoughts.
âI'm not you,â I hissed crossing my arms in a cocky manner. â(Y/N) is the love of my life and I don't care about her devotion to Miranda, it's a good thing, in fact.â
âShe would have to be devoted to you and not to Miranda,â Angie explained.
âYou know perfectly well that it has nothing to do with me,â I said in a dark tone.
I don't know at what point I insisted on arguing with the doll. You loved me, only me.
âIt has nothing to do with you? Are you completely sure about that, Donna?â the puppet asked, before the elevator rang, indicating that you were finally at my side.
I remained thoughtful, searching for a silent answer to that question. No, it didn't bother me, that devotion of yours, that fervent adoration you felt for Miranda was never a problem for me but, as I sat in front of you, helping you serve breakfast, Angie's words traveled through my head.
Are you completely sure about that, Donna?
âI was starting to think you weren't coming,â I said with a fake smile, kindly serving you a cup of that perfect coffee you made. Everything you made was perfect, everything.
âWell, I'd like to say that I stopped getting lost in the basement but I'd beâŠâ you said in a sweet voice, with a slight blush on your cheeks.
âLying,â I finished your sentence in a dry way.
Sometimes my voice doesn't match my intentions but, of course, you already knew that.
âHey, Donna!â you said abruptly, giving my hand a soft slap when I reached out to grab one of your perfect pieces of toast.
I opened my eye wide and pulled my hand back, rubbing the place where you hit it with a sad look.
âWe should pray first,â you said as you lowered your head, joining your hands together. I looked at you with a frown and then turned my eye to Angie, who was laughing, probably at me. âCome on, sweetheart.â
I sighed, blinking and shaking my head and clasped my hands together as you closed your eyes.
âGreat ones, hear our voice, together as one in reverence,â you began with a pleasant whisper, but for some reason, it didnât feel that way to me this time. âWe on thee you within the endless dark, to deliver us into fateâs hands⊠DonnaâŠâ
I blinked, sighing. Of course, you noticed that I hadnât prayed with you in a while.
Why would I want to pray, (Y/N)? I was a damn Lord.
âYesâŠâ I sighed with a groan. âUm⊠UmâŠ
âAs the midnightâŠâ you said to help me continue with what I refused to do. Normally it wasn't a problem for me, in fact, I had been hearing that prayer for many years, too many. I just didn't want to do it that day.
"As the midnight moon rises on black wings, so we make our sacrifice,â we said at the same time, âand we wait for the light at the end. In life, and in death, we give glory, Mother MirandaâŠâ
âThat's it, you can eat,â you said with a smile once you let your hands go. I looked at you intensely and confusedly.
Are you completely sure about that, Donna?
âVa beneâŠâ I sighed, picking up the toast again, buttering it while I struggled with my own conscience.
No, there was nothing wrong with your fervent devotion. You were a good faithful to Mother Miranda, and that had to be good for both of us, right? Right?
The sound of cutlery was the only thing that could be heard in the quiet morning. A pleasant sound, proof that you were by my side, that your smile was there for me to look up and contemplate it as many times as I wanted. Angie only said nonsense.
âYou look beautiful this morning, tesoro,â I commented, daring to break the silence with a compliment, one that caused your body to move nervously, pleased by my words.
You bit your lip without answering, lowering your head to avoid me noticing your embarrassment.
âDonnaâŠâ you sighed romantically. âYou are very flattering today.â
âJust today?â I asked amused, trying to seduce you with my gaze, something simple, but that somehow seemed more complicated to me. â(Y/N), I, I would like⊠I would like to change the portrait on the stairs.â
âThe portrait?â you asked curiously, blowing on the hot coffee. âWhy? It's beautiful, DonnaâŠâ
âWell, that's your opinion,â I said somewhat nervously, shaking my head. âYou know it's not loyal to reality.â
âMm, it's true,â you said nodding, resting your head on one of your hands and blinking childishly. âReality is much better.â
âYouâre very flattering too,â I whispered tenderly, playing with the hand you had absentmindedly left on the table, a serious mistake. Mine would always look for it.
âThe Gods have granted me a good mood today,â you said with a confident tone that made me suddenly withdraw my hand, forcing my brow to frown again.
Are you completely sure about that, Donna?
âC-Certo,â I stammered, playing with the toast, hardening my gaze, looking away from yours. âI, what I wanted to tell you is that⊠Well, now that you're with me, I'd like to change the portrait for, for one of us, you know, of the two of us.â
âReally?â you asked with shining eyes, ones that I couldn't resist, that I couldn't help but look at again. âI think it's a great idea, Donna.â
âI thought so,â I whispered, taking your hand again. âI'll talk to Alcina andâŠâ
âWait, well, it's a good idea butâŠâ you interrupted with a thoughtful smile.
âBut?â I asked nervously. âWhat's wrong, tesoro?â
âNow that you mention the portraitsâŠâ you murmured looking erratically around you. ââŠI've realized that this house is missing something.â
âWhat's missing?â I asked curiously, looking at the same places as her.
âI can't believe it, Donna,â you said with a stern but at the same time amused voice. âIsn't there a single portrait of Mother Miranda?â
âA portrait of Mother Miranda?â I asked, moving my hand away again, letting the romanticism of that perfect breakfast be distorted by your words.
I couldn't, I shouldn't be annoyed, but I was.
âYes,â you said, nodding, with an innocent tone and a smile that, of course, wasn't for me. âWell, I know that you're like her daughter and that you're a Lord⊠But, Donna, that doesn't exempt you from your obligations.â
âObligations,â I murmured confused, with my heart beating fast, furious for no apparent reason.
âYes, my love⊠Mother Miranda loves and protects us and the least we can do is bless our home with her presence.â
I laughed nervously, I didn't know if it was because of how ridiculous that sounded, or because Angie's words made more and more sense.
âI don't see the joke, Donna,â you said with a serious tone, relaxing your smile and crossing your arms
âI'm not laughingâŠâ I said swallowing a growl and shaking my head. âTesoro, that's not necessary. Mother Miranda is always with all of us, besides, I'm the one who takes care of you and protects you,â I hissed with a voice that was perhaps too dark, perhaps taken out of context, out of place.
For some reason, saying that made me feel goodâŠ
âWhy can you take care of me and protect me?â you asked with a certain irony, with a tone that made me clench my fists unconsciously.
âBecause I love you?â I said, with that same tone, one lacking the love and romanticism with which I always communicated with you.
âNo, darling, because Mother Miranda adopted you as her daughter, took pity on you and saved you from your misery. I can't believe you're that ungrateful,â you said with a serious voice, with that smile off your face.
I could think you were joking, exaggerating, but the lack of sparkle in your eyes confirmed my suspicions. Damn, (Y/N) you were completely serious.
âUngrateful? Me?â Â I asked, getting up from the chair and pointing at myself. âI'm a Lord, (Y/N).â
âMm yes, so that gives you the right to be more important than Mother Miranda?â you answered quickly.
You weren't stupid, that's why I fell in love with you, although I never thought it would turn against me.
âNo⊠Yes⊠Well, I don't know, (Y/N), I should be more important than Miranda, at least for you,â I said angrily, fixing my furious eye on yours.
Again, you didn't even flinch.
âMother Miranda,â you corrected smugly. âCome on, Donna, don't tell me you're jealous of herâŠâ
âJealous? No, of course Iâm not,â I said suddenly, defending myself as best I could.
âYou're very nervous, honey. Sit down and relaxâŠâ you whispered with a voice that pretended to be calm, with the same voice you put when I lost my mind, when I suffered my terrible crises.
That wasn't one of them. My anger wasn't irrational, it made sense.
âY-You make me nervous, (Y/N),â I protested, shaking my head. âI understand you are devout and, well, I don't care, but you have to be clear about one thing, tesoro... Mother Miranda isn't here, but I am, do you understand?â
âYou are selfish,â you hissed, looking away, something that made me blink in confusion. âCan't there be anyone else in my life but you?â
âAm I selfish for wanting my girl to pay some attention to me?â I asked, gritting my teeth.
âI pay you attention, Donna, all you want,â you said, drinking your coffee calmly. âBut the Gods don't tolerate blasphemy and I remain faithful to them, as well as to Mother Miranda.â
âYes, but...â I said confused, starting to lose that argument.
âNo, Donna, respect my beliefs, okay?â you demanded with a cold look.
I growled, crossing my arms and shaking my head.
âI'm sorry,â I said after a few minutes of tense silence. âI didn't mean to offend your beliefs, (Y/N).â
âThat's much better, darling⊠Come here, come,â you said with a tender smile, indicating me to come closer and softly kissing my lips. âYou know I love you, right?â
Do you love her too? That's what I would have liked to say, but I didn't want to.
âI love you too,â I whispered back, caressing her cheek, a gesture that made you blush again. âFine, I'll look for a portrait of Mir⊠Of Mother MirandaâŠâ
âGreat, great,â you said excitedly jumping for joy and kissing me again. âThank you, my love⊠I'm going to pick this up.â
A nasty laugh reached my ears as you disappeared down the elevator hallway.
âSilly Donna,â Angie mocked, pretending to writhe in laughter on the floor.
âThat was your fault,â I hissed, kicking the floor furiously, a fury I couldnât use against you, I never could.
âMine? Liar,â the doll protested.
âUgh,â I growled, with a furious look. âYou made me think such horrible things, Angie.â
âHorrible things? Oh, right, you mean that the silly girl prefers Miranda over youâŠâ she said in a sinister tone I tried to ignore.
âThatâs not true,â I said to myself, running a hand over my forehead. I needed to relax.
âNo? Tell me, Donna, where are you going to put Miranda's portrait, on the bedside table? Yes, yes, that's the best place,â the doll mocked, straining my patience even more. âI'm sure (Y/N) will let you fuck her while she looks at her in admirationâŠâ
âAngie!â I screamed furiously, scaring the doll, who ran away laughing. âUgh, cazzo⊠vaffanculo!â I shouted, walking towards the elevator, heading to forget that horrible morning with my dolls, the best I could do.
âWho's the rude one now?â
I never really saw your devotion as something wrong. I met you in church. I knew how faithful you were to Mother Miranda and the Gods.
That was part of your personality. That blind and obsessive faith was part of you, it was something I couldn't take away from you and, honestly, I never saw the need to do so. Every night we spent together, you prayed, you prayed before sleeping, before eating, before⊠Well, before doing anything.
I even thought it was adorable. After all, Mother Miranda created me.
Every night I saw your devotion expressed in your words, gratitude for being with me, and that relieved me. It could just be a phase, a habit you had when you lived in the village, but over time I realized that it wasnât like that.
Being faithful to Miranda was fine, it saved me trouble. It saved me from having to protect you more than necessary. You were the perfect villager to the priestess, a brainless zombie who would never question her decisions, or mine.
Again, my older sister's words stirred my conscience. Alcina was probably the most faithful to Miranda, too faithful. I always thought there was something more behind that servitude, something that perhaps resembled what I felt for you.
But that wasnât important. Alcina's and Moreau's devotion to Miranda was almost as sick as yours, but with one big difference.
I have always wondered what was in the heads of the castle's maids, if any of them had such devotion to the leader of the village.
For me it was impossible to know. I never spoke to them and I rejected Alcina's offer to use them many times.
In their eyes, in their helpful glances, I always saw the devotion that was somewhat similar to yours, but at the same time quite different. They didnât pray to Mother Miranda, their Gods were not the Black Gods. Their only deity, the only thing those girls cared about was Alcina.
They lived for her, they would give their lives for her, they worshipped her. I would even dare  to say they prayed to her. What I had previously seen as a horrible and disturbing thought began to sound better and better in my head.
For the maids Alcina was their Goddess, for you, your only Goddess was Mother Miranda.
Envy began to make me dizzy. It's not that I wanted to be like my sister, I could never be like her but... While I tried to distract myself with my dolls, the images passed over and over again in my mind.
âDamn it...â I muttered, dressing an inert porcelain body.
I began to imagine what it would be like if you were my faithful devotee, the things you would say to me, do to me, how you would behave if I were something more like Miranda to you. At first they were innocent images, but the darkness of my conscience made me turn away from those simple thoughts in which you only changed by ceasing to pray every night, every hour.
No, that wasnât enough to calm my soul. Alcina wasnât a boring woman, she played with her faithful servants; they worshipped her in a carnal way. They knelt before her, just as you did with Miranda.
I imagined you doing the same, worshipping me, praying to me, making me feel like your Goddess, forcing you to kneel before me, to dispose of your body when I, your Goddess, wanted it, in the way I wanted. Dark thoughts, yes, but they sent shivers through my body.
Claiming my superiority over the village vermin wasnât difficult for me, but⊠Trying to make you look at me the way you did with Miranda⊠That would be more complicated.
Lust interrupted my fears, sending me images of you kneeling, caressing me with a smile while your tongue acted divinely, worshipping my body, wanting it inside yours.
Pulling your hair, forcing you to kiss my penis, to worship it as part of my divinity⊠It deviated from my true concerns, causing my body to act accordingly.
âOhâŠâ I sighed as the heat began to overwhelm me, as my hand gently passed over my sudden erection, forming a bulge in the black fabric of my dress.
I needed to take you, and I needed it right then.
âAngie,â I whispered to the doll, who was playing distractedly, fortunately oblivious to the excitement of my body. âG-Go call (Y/N), will you?â
âWhat for?â the puppet questioned.
âJust do it,â I said in a soft tone, stimulating my body discreetly, enjoying the touch of my own hands motivated by my dark thoughts.
âOh, againâŠâ the doll sighed, stopping just before leaving through the doors. âWait, (Y/N) isn't hereâŠâ
âWhat? She's not here? Where is she?â I asked nervously.
âLook at the clock, silly Donna, (Y/N) has gone to mass,â Angie said, making me look at the same place, closing my eye when I realized she was right.
Again, Miranda stood between you and me, preventing me from taking you as I would like. My thoughts were becoming more and more dangerous.
âOkay, okay, go away, Angie,â I said, waving my hand for her to leave.
âButâŠâ
âGo awayâŠâ I hissed, making the doll shrug and leave the workshop grumbling.
Loneliness wasn't so bad after all. My imagination was playing tricks on me, my body was screaming to be released, but not in the usual way. Lust was asking me to dominate you, it was asking me to see you on your knees, to hear you say how much you adored me.
Surely those obscene thoughts would be part of my excitement and it would pass soon. I could think of many ways to fulfill my desire, to make you mine and only mine but⊠I knew that wasn't possible. I swore to myself that I would never do anything without your permission, that I wouldn't let the darkness ruin an act as beautiful as making love.
Taking advantage of the fact that you were with your Goddess, I decided to take the liberty of freely fantasizing about that idea of ââbeing adored, releasing my terribly excited shaft and starting to caress it while your voice whispered things in my mind.
Mm, you are certainly a Goddess, Donna⊠My only Goddess⊠Let me worship you as you deserveâŠ
Iâm yours, only yours, let me kneel before you, let my mouth worship you, my loveâŠ
Do you like me to touch myself for you, my Goddess? Look how wet I am, do I have to pray for you to take me here and now, or do I have to confess my sins? It's so hard⊠You are divine, DonnaâŠ
Those fantasy voices made me want to stop, not to forget that lustful act with myself, but to enjoy it even more.
Before I met you I used to masturbate often. I didn't do it because I really felt like it. I always saw it as an inevitable need. Yes, I enjoyed releasing myself imagining brief encounters with one of the maids, even sometimes, just sometimes, I wanted to pick up the phone, call my sister, and use one of them.
But it was something temporary. My body's need was different from pleasure. No matter how hard I try, I can't remember a stimulation as pleasurable as that.
My hand moved slowly. I closed my eye to see you better, to imagine that it was your hand and not mine. Envy, jealousy... I didn't really care about the reasons for my behavior. I only cared about making it seem as real as possible.
The idea of ââit being a wet fantasy distracted me, but the pleasure of my stimulation was much greater, making me speed up, enjoying every movement while I moaned in a whisper, saying rude things that, even if you were in front of me, you wouldn't be able to understand.
There came a moment when my own movements got out of control, when the pleasure of imagining you being my devotee devoured the calm with which I caressed myself.
âCazzoâŠâ I protested, shrinking into myself, quickly looking for a nearby napkin before I released. It was a too pleasurable release.
The napkin shone with my lust and I could only think of one thing⊠How it would look inside youâŠ
As I cleaned myself in the sink my conscience navigated confusedly. Somehow I thought of you in a dark way, in a sudden way. That wasn't you, you weren't kneeling in front of me, you never would be.
Should I regret having transformed you into someone else while I touched myself? Could it be considered cheating? Have I done something wrong? Did you?
The logic I had left told me I should. The darkness had consumed me. The jealousy had gone too far, but⊠In a strange way, I couldnât feel bad about it.
Maybe, deep down, thatâs what I wanted.
Of course, I never mentioned what I did. It was just a moment of nervous lust, of possessive madness.
Our life continued as always, even little by little, I got used to the portrait of Miranda you made me look for. Every time I passed by her, I got chills, I thought about what you would do to her if she were there, what things you would be capable of doing for her, for your Goddess.
I wanted to get away from those thoughts, from those dark impulses, but I couldn't do it. Every night, as always, you continued praying, praising your deities, leaving me aside, abandoned during those minutes, those in which I believed I wasnât the most important thing in your life.
Your prayers slipped through my ears, I stopped understanding them, hearing them. I could only hear the voices in my head. I could only imagine you in front of me, saying my name instead of Miranda's.
The tension passed through my mind, penetrating my body, my words. You knew something was wrong with me, but you didn't dare to ask.
What would you think of me if I told you that I wanted to be your Goddess?
I didn't know and it terrified me but... What really scared me was the loss of that logical thought, the constant imagination that disturbed and dirty my mind. I was scared, but of myself, because, as time went by, I began to stop wondering what you would say, what reaction you would have.
I didn't care anymore, my conscience stopped controlling my dark thoughts and that was dangerous, very dangerous...
âMm, let's see... I also want to thank you for...â your voice sounded almost inaudible to me, like every night, you prayed tirelessly while I unbuttoned the top of my dress.
At least you no longer forced me to pray with you.
âI want to thank you for granting me the undeserved gift of being able to be with Donna,â you prayed whispering, kneeling in front of the bed.
Those words took me out of my internal struggle against darkness, forcing me to look at you with a tender smile, even though you couldn't see me.
âYou saved her, Mother Miranda, making me the happiest girl in the village, allowing me to get to know her, to discover the wonderful woman she is.â
As I continued with the buttons, I laughed shyly, blushing, getting up to be a little closer, sitting next to you and lifting your chin.
âBellisimaâŠâ  I whispered affectionately as your eyes opened, the smile had returned to your face, but, delicately, you moved my hand away from it.
âShh, wait, Donna, I'm not done yet,â you said whispering, as if the Gods or Miranda were able to hear you
I nodded calmly, without getting up, looking at you with the devotion I wanted for myself.
Were you my Goddess?
After you flattered me in your prayers, your words deviated from that pleasant path, starting to pray for the villagers, for my siblings, for every living being that diverted your attention from me.
Normally you didn't take that long, and it started to make me nervous.
Nerves could be controlled in a normal person, but I wasn't a normal person. I was sick, my mind was damaged and there were many reasons why I couldn't control myself. Logical or illogical reasons, my mind made no distinctions.
Your words stopped relaxing me, your voice began to sound unpleasant, my fists grabbed the sheets to contain that rage, that madness with which, surely those stupid Gods, cursed me at birth.
â(Y/N),â I said in a whisper, putting a hand on your shoulder, one that you slowly removed. âHey, tesoroâŠâ
âWait a minute, Donna, why are you so impatient?â you said with disgust, moving away from me.
I had been putting up with that contempt for too long.
âShut up!â I shouted nervously, getting up from the bed with a grunt. âStop praying!â
âWhat's wrong with you?â you asked, getting up from the floor and rubbing your knees. âHave you gone crazy?â
âYes, yes, you're driving me crazy, (Y/N),â I hissed, pointing at her with my finger. âI've tried to ignore it, I really have,â I said, approaching you in a threatening, dangerous way.
âLet's seeâŠâ you sighed, rolling your eyes and crossing your arms. I hate when you do that, honey, I hate when you take me for a stupid crazy woman. I, am, your Goddess. âWhat's got into you now?â
âDon't treat me like a foolâŠâ I hissed again, getting even closer, grabbing the collar of her dress roughly. âI'm not a foolâŠâ
âYou look like it, Donna, come on, be a good girl, let me go, you're going to spoil my dress,â you said, struggling with my grip.
Your scared eyes are my weakness. I couldn't help but obey you immediately.
âI'm sorry,â I murmured, smoothing your dress again, being able to regret having done it. âNo, I'm not sorry.â
âWhat?â you asked frowning. âDonnaâŠâ you growled.
âI'm sick of putting up with this, (Y/N) of you humiliating me like that,â I said, threatening again, but keeping my hands off your clothes.
âNo one is humiliating you, Donna, it's all your imagination,â you said in a slightly softer tone, bringing a trembling hand to my cheek. âShh, darling... My love...â
âHow can you say that?â I asked nervously again, pushing your hand away with a sharp blow. âAre you laughing at me? You think that by saying nice things to me you can fix everything, right?â
âI don't even know what's wrong with you,â you sighed desperately, stepping back, scared.
Gods are feared, right?
âIf you like Mother Miranda that much... Go ahead, go with her, let her do all the things I do to you, I'm sure that's what you're wishing for,â I whispered, looking away, feeling a cold breeze on my body.
My blouse was unbuttoned, but what I really felt was the coldness of my heart.
âOf courseâŠâ you said with a sufficient smile, snorting with a mocking gesture. âForget about your stupid jealousy. I've told you a thousand times that the devotion I feel for her has nothing to do with what I feel for you.â
âDevotionâŠâ I sighed, looking at the ceiling, controlling my anger and my carnal desires as much as I could. âDevotion?! She doesn't deserve your devotion!â
âWho says that? You?â you answered, apparently calm. âI can't believe you think that way about the woman who made you the way you are now, who named you Lord, her daughter⊠Donna, don't you understand that I adore Mother Miranda? Don't you understand everything she's done for us? For me?â
âFor you? What has Miranda done for you, huh?â I asked in a more dangerous tone, grabbing you by the shoulders with a look that wanted to be scary, but was pathetic.
I was lost.
âI'm the only one who takes care of you! I'm the one who allows you not to work because you live with my money! I'm the one who puts a fucking plate on the table every day! I'm the only one who loves you, who treats you the way you deserve! It's me, (Y/N), do you understand? Me!â
âDonna,â you sighed, moving away from my hold with a strange, thoughtful look. âHoney, you never talk like thatâŠâ
âI'm sick of you thinking Miranda is your Goddess⊠Sick, do you hear me? She has no right to be idolized, to be prayed to! The only one you should be praying to is⊠Me!â I finally shouted, making my voice echo off the old walls, making an uncomfortable silence fall on our shoulders.
âDonnaâŠâ you murmured after a few terrible moments, guiding your hand to my cheek, wiping away a tear that came out due to my anger, due to my irrational fury. âGods⊠Y-Youâre rightâŠâ
âCosa?â I asked, shaking my head. I thought my ears were betraying me, but that didnât seem to be true. âW-WhatâŠ?â
âIt's true... You, you've done so many things for me...â you sighed with a relaxed smile, getting closer to me. âForgive me, Donna, I didn't want you to think that Mother Miranda is better,â
âUm, yes... Okay,â I said confused, looking away, but enjoying your caresses.
The darkness which had me trapped wandered freely through my mind, my eye traveled over your body.
âI promise I'll pray less, okay?â you said with a sweet voice.
My gaze hardened, letting the shadows control it, controlling the hand that grabbed your hair tightly without hurting you, or so I like to think.
âUh, hey...â you said laughing at my abrupt attitude, at the way my nails dug into your waist as I dragged you towards me.
âI don't want you to pray less, (Y/N),â I whispered, getting close to your ear, sinking my teeth into your skin, pulling your head so your neck was exposed. âI want you to pray⊠To meâŠâ
âWhatâŠ? What do you mean?â you asked with a broken tone, nervous because of the tickling of my lips on your skin, because of the strength of my hand tangled in your hair.
My demons sketched a smile on my face and my mind saw that forbidden, repressed dream getting closer and closer.
âOn your knees,â I whispered with a cold voice, with a proud, cocky one, typical of the Goddess that I was, of the Goddess that I wanted to be for you. âGet on your knees!â I shouted when your gaze remained confused and your head moved from side to side.
You screamed, but not in an unpleasant way. I helped your body to go down to the desired place, at my feet, on your knees before me, where you had to be.
âOkayâŠâ you sighed, arching your eyebrows, biting your lip.
Did you know what was going to happen? I doubt it.
âWorship me, (Y/N), show me your words are sincere, that I am your only Goddess,â I ordered you, pulling your head so your lips rested on my skin and began to kiss it.
You obeyed like a good girl, without complaint, panting from the impression, but comfortable with the situation. That only made me want you more.
Your kisses were soft, hot but demure, as if you were really kissing something sacred. I enjoyed the vision of having you worshiping me, of being able to feel all the things I imagined every night. It was much more incredible than I thought, much more.
âPray,â I said softly, with a gentle tug on your hair. I wanted to feel your lips moving on my skin, I wanted to feel the vibrations of your praises on my belly, close, very close to me.
âGreat onesâŠâ you began with a nervous voice, not letting your kisses cool my desire, running your tongue over my skin.
âNo, not that one, silly,â I said amused, pushing you away from my body. âI want you to pray to me, come onâŠâ
âI don't know any prayersâŠâ you said nervously but with an anxious gleam in your eyes, one that made my evil smile widen.
âThen use your mouth for something usefulâŠâ I whispered, bending down to kiss you briefly, to pull your lower lip with desire, but not letting you enjoy it.
Oh, (Y/N) that night wouldn't be for you. That night was only for me.
You nodded, with the look I was looking for so many times while you were praying⊠My hand went through the black fabric of my skirt, running over the bulge that had already formed on it, caressing it, watching your reaction, how your body trembled when you saw it.
âDo you want it, (Y/N)?â I asked, playing, grabbing my shaft over the fabric, showing you how you made me feel and how I liked being your GoddessâŠ
You nodded again, scratching my legs, letting me see for myself how much that situation excited you.
âBeg me, (Y/N),â I hissed, bringing you closer to my hidden erection, making you feel desperate to reach it, to give me the pleasure I deserved. âAsk me to let you worship meâŠâ
âPlease, DonnaâŠâ you whispered, kissing me over the dress. Something I didn't ask you for, but I couldn't deny you. The warmth of your lips was all I needed.
âDonna? Wrong, tesoroâŠâ I laughed amused, pulling your hair in reprimand. âIâm your Goddess, (Y/N), don't forget thatâŠâ
âM-My Goddess, please let me worship you⊠Let meâŠpraise youâŠâ you whispered, bringing your mischievous hands to the edge of my skirt.
I moaned in satisfaction, controlling my own desire. That was what I wanted. What do you think, Miranda? She'll never do that to youâŠ
Happy to please you, I released my erection, being quickly caressed by your lips, watched by your eyes, which this time didn't seem to want to close. Your mouth approached slowly, but you knew you couldn't play with me, you shouldn't.
Your tongue ran slowly over my skin, making me moan embarrassingly and your hand joined in the fun when I was completely inside your mouth.
âCosĂŹ buonoâŠâ I gasped, daring to close my eye, to control your head with my hand while your mouth embraced me intensely, while your tongue played with the tip, making my legs tremble.
I didn't want to seem weak, and I scolded you with a tug on your hair. None of that seemed to make you stop.
âYou're so perfect, DonnaâŠâ you whispered, calling my attention. My hips played on their own, moving to adapt to your kisses, to your playful tongue taking me to the edge. âI've been stupid⊠You're my only GoddessâŠâ
âDon't forget it, tesoroâŠâ I said calmer, moaning when your movements continued, when your mouth embraced my erection, sucking it slowly while your hand moved it at will.
âShe'll never love you like I do, do you understand?â I asked, trying to distract myself, with the darkness coming back to torment me again. âShe would never let⊠CazzoâŠâ
âI know, my love⊠I know,â you whispered, tickling my skin, resuming your kisses, trying to keep up with the increasingly frenetic rhythm of my hips.
âOkay, that's enough,â I said suddenly, on the verge of my release.
No, (Y/N), it wasn't going to end there. Your face covered with me wasn't enough at that moment. I needed something else. I needed to possess you forever, to take you by my grace, by the glory of the one who would always be your Goddess. Me, only me.
âYou are deliciousâŠâ you whispered with a wet moan. âI want to release you, my Goddess, I want to taste you.â
âYou ask for too much, tesoro⊠I'm not a merciful GoddessâŠâ I said amused, lifting you up roughly and pushing you against the bed.
You moaned in surprise at my roughness, but my hands kept you from turning around. You had no right to look at me. I wasn't going to let you do that.
Without waiting for a response or any protest, I lifted your dress and pulled down your underwear while spanking you, making you squirm. That was just what I had imagined.
âChe bagnata seiâŠâ I whispered in your ear, leaning over you as my fingers ran through your wet folds. Your words could lie, but your body couldnât. It adored me, needed meâŠ
Without the gentleness with which I usually took you, I introduced my erection inside of you. Your walls were overwhelmed at first and your mouth emitted a moan of pain that I ignored.
âSo⊠bigâŠâ you murmured with a moan that bathed my ears, that gave me the silent permission I needed to continue, to move without asking and for your tight entrance to hold me tightly, to worship meâŠ
âEverything I do, I do it for you, amore mio⊠You, just have to⊠Remember⊠Who you belong toâŠâ I moaned at the same time as my hips moved carelessly.
âGods Donna, you, only to you,â you moaned when your body began to move on its own as well, joining the thrusts of my hips.
My hands scratched your skin, marking it as theirs forever. There would never be anyone else in your life, only me. You would pray to me, you would worship me, only I would exist in your life. You would be much more than my maid. You would be mine, forever.
Spilling my seed inside you was much more pleasurable than other times. It was a sign, an explosion of unmatched pleasure, an act of darkness and passion, a fierce desire to be part of you, for you to always have me.
âOh, DonnaâŠâ you said, catching your breath, moving, making the wet mixture of your entrance slide down your legs, becoming the most beautiful vision of my life.
âI don't want to hear you pray to anyone but me, do you understand?â

How do you imagine Wesker loving someone romantically? I often think it's very hard, almost impossible to make him tick. And if he does, afraid it's may be already too late, at that point he probably did some irreparable damages to his relationship with said person...
But I headcanon he would be the kind of man who falls hard for the "unobtainable", despite Wesker himself deemed that unpractical. Shit like "some things are beautiful because they can't be obtained"
I imagine it's hard for Wesker to fall in love as you said. Personally, I headcanon him as someone who falls on the aromantic spectrum like I do. In an interview regarding him, his voice actor states that he thinks Wesker's attraction isn't gender specific or "person specific". He is intrigued by people who can match him physically or mentally, which implies he enjoys someone who is hard to get or at least someone on his own level.
I digress, I don't see him as the man to canonically pursue a relationship due to his line of work and the dangers he puts himself or others in. He wouldn't be able to hold one down realistically, not because he's incapable but the guy has a lot on his plate with his world conquest plan yknow?? I think if anything he'd might indulge a cat and mouse game or he'd do a fling but that's about it.
Now if we're talking hypothetically, saying he can work in a relationship and wants to, I think he'd be an... Alright partner. You'd have to be able to keep up with him and keep his interest, though. I think he's the type of man to express his love through actions rather than words. He may not serenade his love to you, but he's let you hug him and he doesn't stiffen or push you away.
He may not constantly say the phrase, "I love you," but he'll take note of your favorite foods, your interests and provide them for you and indulge. He'll ask how your day is, he'll sit with you and even let you be in his personal space while he works. Most of all he's protective of you, he doesn't want you to get hurt. You're very precious to him and the idea of something happening to you tears him apart inside... He may not be a gentle man at all, but with you he will be. It just may not present itself in the stereotypical ways.

.âĄâĄâĄ.
"You want to what?" Nova questions as she shuts her locker door. She was puzzled by the "Freak's" questions as she walked beside him, holding every single textbook that was in it, along with her already heavy bag. Immediately, before he could say what was on his mine, his hands gravitated towards the heavy load in her hands, taking almost every book to help the socialite carry.
"Work for yo- for your dad," Eddie restates, counting how many more steps she has to take to keep up with him.
Summer was starting soon, but this time, Eddie won't be returning for another year of torure and false hope. He can finally go on with his life. Even as he, without question, lightened her load by taking a few of her textbooks to hold himself, he thought about all the free time he'd have. He might as well spend it doing something productive.. and hanging out with his "special" friend.
They were wayy more than friends, but they didn't put a label on it. Eddie didn't want to admit it, but he suggested it for Nova's sake. He knew she'd be outcasted even more if they became a couple, and it would suck to watch her be chastised and criticized because of him.. and so, begrudgingly, he suggested to keep this arrangement between them.
Nova had an inkling about it but decided not to press the issue for it to turn into an argument.. besides, she knew in a few weeks it wouldn't matter anyway. He'd be able to get rid of the freak stigma surrounding his person, and take what was his. But for now, she was fine with him being her dirty little secret. She enjoyed their time alone anyways, which is why she was skimming past all the job positions her father still needed to fill.
"Can you swim?" She questioned, her dark foxy eyes looking up to the slightly brooding melthead. In response, he offered a shrug and a nod.
"I.. can swim as good as the next guy," His voice became melodic as he spoke.
"Do you have swimwear?" The 2nd-in-command cheerleader asked, watching Eddie's eyebrows furrow as he took a moment to think about where he had put his swim shorts.
"Probably," that response has Nova rolling her eyes.
"What? I haven't been swimming in a long ass time! I also.. don't know where they are," Eddie admitted, obtaining a soft giggle from her as they walked out to the student parking lot. There sat the Freak's band van and the Star's cadillac convertible.
It was a quick trip to Nova's car, both of them setting her books in the backseat before she opened the passenger side to get to the glove compartment. There sat a few of her dad's business cards, Nova grabbing one of them to hand to Ed's.
"Give my dad a call. The only jobs that I think are available are yard groomer and pool boy,"
And with that, she left him on the side of the road with a soft peck on the cheek and a wave as she hightailed it out of the Hawkins High campus.
...
It wasn't that hard for Eddie to get the job, him completely winning over Mr. James, with a few witty jokes and a "ready-to-work," smile, he got the job, both of them, actually. He still didn't know how that happened, but he definitely wasn't complaining. Next thing he knew, he was mowing the grass every Wednesday and cleaning the pool two times a week.
Sometimes, it was quite tiresome, but it did help to see Nova, prancing around in a short dress, a bikini, or barely any clothes at all. It was her house, but it still felt like some type of tease. It was certainly keeping him motivated. Her sneaky little fox smile, her sweet giggles when they would talk a bit on his break, the swell of her ass always finding his groin whenever they'd cross paths around her home.
He was able to ignore it.. until one day.
It was a hot Friday in June, Eddie just finished cleaning the pool so he was putting up all the supplies he had just used. Nothing major, it had only been a few leaves that fell I'm the pool. Other than that, it was mostly clean. Nova knew this, so of course she used it to her advantage.
The metalhead was sweeping up when the socialite walked out, prancing around in a chocolate frilly bikini. The fabric being consumed by her ass had him quietly chuckling and shaking his head. It wasn't quiet enough, though, Nova turning her head as her hands landed on her hips.
"What..?" She questioned, a smile coming to her face. She knew what she was doing, but even so, she played dumb.
Eddie only shrugged, his own goofy smile remaining as he aimlessly swept around.
"Nothing.."
"Something.." She repeated back to him, checking herself out in an outdoor mirror and slightly twisting herself when she turned her back to it.
"What- is there something on my butt?" She asked, checking out her backside in tendem only to find a beautiful curve and back dimples. Eddie found the same thing, trying his best to keep it in his pants and finish up this day.
"No, your butt's fine,"
"Ed's, you're not even sweeping anything anymore." Nova crossed her arms before pointing to the clean surface. The pool boy was mindlessly sweeping. "You've cleaned the walkway entirely,"
Of course, with him being dismissive and her being needy, she walked up to him, using her beauty against him in the only way she could think of. She battered her thick, mascara drenched eyelashes and set her fox eyes in dilation before latching onto his arm.
"Come to the pool with me.. the water is just fine," Her voice turned mellow and sweet. While Nova couldn't see or feel it, she knew Eddie was going to fold. One way or another. But for now, he stayed professional, even if the prettiest girl he's ever seen is shamelessly wanting in his pants.
"I gotta work, sweetheart." His voice is calm, too calm. Within all the time she's known him, he was always known to be so animated. Nova pouted, of course, taking the opportunity to press her lips up against his tatted, muscular arms. He shivered, getting a whiff of the scent in her strawberry maple hair. He only turned to her in nonchalance, his eyes steady even if he wanted to fulfill her wants and needs right then and there.
"Fine.." Nova would huff, backing off of him as she began to relax in one of the floatie reclined chairs. "Will you please get me some lemonade then?" She begrudgingly asked, watching through her blue sunglasses as he sat the broom down.
"No pulp but instead blackberries," the metalhead said to himself as he walked back inside, making his boss's daughter grin stupidly. She only told him that once, and he's never forgotten it since. As forgetful as he likes to act he was always remembering something random about her. How she likes to quote silly things she's seen in movies, or how she likes to fold her socks up in knots after she pulls them off her feet.. or how she likes lemonade with blackberries instead of pulp.
For the rest of the afternoon, the tension was at a low simmer. Eddie would continue working around the pool area, and despite her efforts, avoided creamping Nova against the wall. But by the time 6 pm hit, he was home free. It took him all of thirty minutes to change and back, slipping into black denim and some variation of a sleevless band tee. He carried his duffle to the door when Nova stopped him half way.
"Wait, you're just gonna leave..?" She questioned, a look of surprise on her face.
"Look I gotta get home, or else Wayne'll be pissed," he answered, knowing it was a bullshit excuse because as much as his uncle cared for his safety, he knew where he was. With a heavy disappointed stare, Nova nodded, offering a sweet smile of understanding.
"Okay,"
That crushed him a bit, how even when she knew he was lying through his teeth, she would let him go. It took Eddie all of 5 seconds to walk back through the double doors and smash his lips against hers. She softly exhaled into the kisses.
"You're so damn needy," He rasped breathlessly through the kisses, knowing that he was clinging to the feeling of the warmth in his palms.
"Guilty," She spoke softly in return, no smile or snort, just expressing her need with an intense lip lock.
...
"F-fuck Eds!âĄ" Eddie found himself lightheaded, his pelvis constantly pounding against the soft, reddened surface that was that plush of Nova's ass. With each yearning thrust, he winced as she whined for more so sweetly. Who was he to deny her such a pleasure?
In no time, her had her on her feet, holding her so tightly against him as he bucked his hips so fiercely. With every slap of his balls came a rippling clinch of her velvet walls. The heels of his feet desperately dug themselves into the sheets, the sounds of her squeals muffled to nothing but a pleasureful note in his mind. It was a constant, nonstop loop of drilling into her soaked and stretched pussy until her thighs began to tremble, lifting herself off of him in habit, the clean slide causing her sweet Ed's to spurt his hot seed as she released gushed her thick squirt.
Then it was right back on for another ride with a slap of her peach buns, By the end of it Nova was sucking the soul from Eddie's very being, gladly taking every inch of his throbbing cock just like he asked.
By the end of it, Eddie was feeding her soft kisses to her everywhere, consoling the petite Nova as she next to him all fucked out and dumbfounded from dick.
"If you wanted to fuck me, you could've just asked.."
"That's what I was doing!"
"Debatable,"
.âĄâĄâĄ.

banishing (how to do it)
yeah this is like all UPG but it works good for me, take what you will and leave the rest behind.
if your response to this is "but most people never ever have to deal with unwanted spirit problems so you're probably wrong if you think it's a spirit! do shadow work and touch grass!" please let me invite you to just not interact with this post at all.
Don't cleanse. Like please don't, why do people do this??
"I am confident an unwanted spirit is in my home and I cleansed but nothing happened."
Okay, an unwanted guest is in your home and you did a bit of vacuuming and washing the dishes, so why are they still there??
Why WOULDN'T they be there?! It's nicer now??? It's better for them to stay?!?!?!
"I want to break up with my boyfriend so I did his laundry but he's still texting me :/"
Cleansing =/= banishing and cleansing should be saved for cleaning up after an unwanted spirit after they are banished, which again, is not accomplished by cleansing.
Stop raising wards that trap the spirit inside.
"I cleansed and put up a protection but that only made the problem worse!"
Yes you did a wash up and locked the spirit inside with you, of course it's pissed off. It's trapped.
If you feel the need for immediate protection when dealing with a spirit problem, craft an amulet that serves as a personal protection for you. NOT one that seals off the entrances to your home.
Once the spirit problem is taken care of and you are confident its presence has been removed, feel free to raise up those wards sky high.
Also, if you are heavy-handed with the warding, spirits can sometimes just get trapped inside regardless. Learn how to temporarily "switch off" wards when you need to so things can leave.
Put your fucking foot down and tell the spirit to leave.
This will solve a surprising number of unwanted spirit problems. Not all of them, and come on, please stop telling people they never need to learn actual banishing skills just because telling spirits to leave works most of the time.
But you gotta do it. And I mean you don't have to be an asshole about it. You don't have to jump right into screaming in the spirit's general direction and threatening all such harm on it.
And there's plenty of good reasons to start with this step, especially if you want to be a spirit worker, but that's neither here nor there. Just tell them to leave.
Go to an area where you think the spirit is, or go where its private and speak with the intent that the spirit will hear you.
(You may also sign or write; would generally not recommend doing this operation entirely mentally)
"Hey, Dude. I know you're here, and I want you to know that you must leave. It is no longer an option for you to stay. I request that you leave immediately, and I request that you do not come back to this place. Leave now and we part ways in peace."
Do not go belly up and beg the spirit. It benefits you to behave with authority and dignity.
DO NOT try to "soften the blow" by twisting your words into something that is no longer a demand that the spirit depart. "Hey, if it's okay with you, I'm hoping you'll leave soon, or as soon as you're able... I don't feel comfortable with you here, and I'd prefer if you went." Great, now the spirit knows how you feel. So what?
Banish the spirit (or human, or whatever).
Presumably we're at this step because the prior step ("bro, seriously just leave and never come back") did not work.
Obtain correspondences heavily associated with banishing, use them to enchant a candle, burn the candle.
Can't use a candle? Try a simmer pot.
No fire at all, including incense? Try a floor wash (test carpets to ensure there will not be staining).
Can't burn things or clean the house? Try a sigil you visualize being imprinted on all the walls of your home.
Can't visualize? Consecrate something to represent the spirit, drop it in a jar of water along with banishing correspondences, swirl it around like a whirlpool, chant about the spirit being washed away.
No waterproof containers? Consecrate something to represent the spirit, stand on the edge of your property, throw it off the edge of the property.
You get my drift -- do magic. Do magic. Do magic that banishes. Use magic specifically to banish. Not to cleanse the vibrations or whatever. Specifically magic intended to yeet a spirit.
At this point, do not try to ignore the problem or keep talking it out. Do not just try to meditate or whatever. Do magic. Do magic that banishes.
Here's a banishing spell if you need it:
Basil, cloves, red pepper
Candle (ideally, red)
Paper and ink
Small offering
Draw the planetary seal of mars and the planetary square on a piece of paper, ideally in red. Dress a candle in oil (*burning your house down is an effective way to banish a spirit but perhaps too heavy-handed; dress with care) and include either one or three dried, powdered herbal correspondences to it.
Dedicate the candle to Mars. ("Planet Mars, someone on the internet told me you'd help me if I asked - I'm asking now. I give this candle to you. It belongs to you now.")
Put the candle near the paper.
Evoke Mars. ("Planet Mars, where your symbol exists so you exist. Where your planetary square exists, so do you exist. The space has been made welcoming to you through the presence of these Martian correspondences.") The martian correspondences are the basil/cloves/peppers, btw ("I ask you to bring your attention now to me. I ask you to dwell fully in this space.")
Read the Orphic hymn to Ares if you'd like a little extra elbow grease behind your evocation.
Petition Mars. ("So please get rid of this spirit, it seriously sucks so bad.")
Offer payment. ("In exchange for this help I know you will provide, I give you this candle and also this [small offering].")
Seal the deal. No, you do not need to be able to receive psychic confirmation from a planet or whatever, but do not proceed if you feel any gut-level bad feelings or suddenly get a ton of anxiety. If that happens, be like, "Mars, buddy, never mind - I get a bad feeling about this, so I'm noping out. Thanks for listening while you did. Leave in peace."
But if you feel fine about moving ahead, just be like, "now I give you Mars this offering, and I light your candle, with full and total assuredness that this spirit will be permanently banished from my space, my life, and my home."
[Light the candle, give the offering]
Cleanse
The spirit should be gone before you put up wards
Residual ickyness can make you feel the spirit is still nearby even if its been banished
Cleanse your space and see if the symptoms of the spirit return.
If symptoms return, the spirit has not been banished.
If they don't return,
Put up wards.
Ya got haunted because ya didn't have a fence up to stop random cows from wandering into the garden of your life and trampling all your hard work. Put up the wards.
Oh, but maybe the banishment didn't work, in which case:
Mitigate symptoms.
I mean yeah, maybe try at least a few more types of magical banishing, call in a priest even. But!
Not every spirit can be banished. That's just the long and short of it.
As humans we have the capacity to intertwine our lives, intentionally or otherwise, with forces that cannot be immediately removed from our presence.
Like if the grand spirit of a forest hates all humans and you build a house in the forest, you're not going to be able to banish the forest from the forest, you feel me?
Sometimes, banishing isn't the solution.
As rare as it is, it happens. Make personal protections, use mirror or other illusory wards to hide from its attention, make reparations if possible, avoid attracting attention, and get on with your life.

I love you, itâs ruining my life - Geto Suguru
Words: 1,5k
Summary: You stood besides Geto for over a decade but despite loving him so much, it was ruining you.
Tags: heavy angst, canon, set during 2017-2018, blood, mentions of death, no happy ending, a bit of Gojo x reader but not romantic, no use of y/n, gn!reader
Notes: a request and a one shot in a single day, yep đ€
Jujutsu Kaisen materialist
When he decided to leave, you left with him.
More than 10 years had passed since then, you were no longer kids, you had changed. Even though there were mornings where you looked in the mirror and still saw the 17 year old student you once were. But when you looked at him, there was nothing left of that 17 year old boy.
You still loved him and you would probably always, but that love was consuming you.
But that day, you didn't see the 17 year old girl, what you saw in the mirror was a tired young woman, with a dull face and dark circles under her eyes. You felt like all your color was completely gone.
Existing your room, you walked through the hallway until you spot Suguruâs silhouette, I was talking to Miguel, apparently there was a course that Suguru was interested in obtaining. Passing by, you walked and saw a couple of people waiting for Suguru to serve them. Your heart was squeezed when you thought about the fate they would have.
You had accompanied Suguru for all these years, but you had never been able to agree with his ideas and until that day they continued to make you nauseous.
You sighed and went outside, where you sat on one of the benches there. In the distance you could see Tokyo and the memories of when you were a teenager began to come to you. Would you be there if you had realized earlier how Suguru was? If you had tried harder? If I had supported him more? Everything was what ifs... That they would never be, you answered and you could only imagine what could have been.
âYou are here.â A deep voice, spoke behind your back. âGeto is looking for you.â
You stood up and nodded slowly. Walking towards where Suguru was, you felt your heart flutter nervously. You opened the door and found him sitting on his âthroneâ. When you entered you could see traces of blood on the floor. You turned your head, feeling the vomit rise in your throat.
"I'm sorry." Suguru murmured from his seat. âI thought it would take you longer so you wouldn't see the blood of that dirty monkey, but you came.â
âSuguruâŠâ You tremble. âDon't you think that's enoughâŠ?â
"What do you mean?" He rose from his throne.
âWhat I meanâŠâ Your heart fluttered. âLet's go Suguru, let's go away.â You approached him. âYou, the girls and me. Far from everythingâŠâ
Suguru's gaze was cold. âDo you hear yourself?â He smiled zinicly. âDo you want to run away? After all these years? Of my progress? Donât be foolish.â
âSuguru⊠pleaseâŠâ Your eyes stung.
Suguru snorted and moved away from your touch and it was then, seeing his back, that the boy who once swore he would love you forever, died long ago.
âI know you loved me.â You looked down. âBut you donât love me anymore.â Those words were heavy on you, it felt like stones being thrown at yourself.
âThatâs what you think?â Suguru asked
âI donât think that, itâs what it is, Suguru.â You held back your tears, not wanting to cry in front of him. âThe only times we are intimate itâs when you want to have sex, the rest of the time⊠I donât even see you because you are to focus on killing people.â
âMonkeys, those are not people, they are monkeys.â You shook your head trying to ignore his words. âDonât tell me you donât agree with what we are doing.â He approached you and you took a step back.
âI donât think I ever did Suguru.â
âThen why? Why did you follow me?â His tone was clear, he was angry.
âBecause I love you!â You raised your voice. âI love you Suguru, I always did. And you needed me back then⊠you needed someone and I⊠I couldnât leave you.â
âSo you never truly believed in what I was doingâŠâ
âThatâs what matters to you?â You raised your gaze facing him. âIf I agree with what you are doing?â
âYes!â He was the one to shut this time. âYou were the⊠the only one who stayed and I thought it was because you agreed but it was because you loved me.â A hoarse laugh came from his throat. âYou thought that if you came with me and with that love of yours I was going to change?â
He looked at you and you said nothing, because yes, your foolish self really thought it was going to be able to change him, to make him go back and try to find a solution to what he did. But you were a fool and even 10 years later you were still a fool, because deep down you were still hoping you could make him understand.
âI wonât change, I will never change, I will kill all those monkeys and create a world where only sorcerers exist.â He sat down. âIf you want to leave, I wonât stop you.â
The first tear rolled down your cheek. âI love you Suguru.â You said. âBut itâs ruining my life.â
Suguru stayed silent, not saying a word, not saying anything. This wasnât the guy you fell in love with, years ago, that boy wouldnât stare at you and do nothing.
You stepped away and turned around to leave the room. Before exiting the room, you look at him one last time.
âI love you Suguru, I will always love you.â You whipped the tears away and left the room.
After that last look, the days passed and turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months. Suguru never looked for you, you were alone. You couldn't go back to where you were once happy because that would doom you and you couldn't go back to the person you loved because she was long dead.
You looked up and saw the snow falling. The new year had begun with snow. You hugged your body and walked through the new streets of the small town you had moved to. There you could simply be you and help those like you who could see curses and didn't understand it.
âThe ground is slippery over there.â A voice spoke behind you.
You stopped dead when you heard it, how many years had it been since you had heard that voice? You didn't even know it anymore.
You carefully turned to confirm that the owner of that voice was the one who was once your best friend. And indeed, a few meters away from you was Gojo Satoru. Taller than the last time he saw it that October afternoon. Unlike that time, his eyes were completely covered by a white blindfold.
âSatoruâŠâ You murmured.
âYou lost weight.â He simply said.
Ignoring his words, you went straight to the point. âAre you here to execute me?â You asked him, trying to pretend that your voice was shaky.
Satoru shook his head. âWhy would I?â Before you could answer he continued. âThere is no execution order for you, so there is no reason for me to execute you.â
âWhat?â You said stunned. "How is that possible? I spent years with him, they shouldâŠâ
âYou were never considered a threat like him and I asked them not to include you on the list of cursed sorcerers.â
You pursed your lips and nodded. "Thanks, I guess." You hugged yourself tighter, to stop yourself from shaking. âWhat are you doing here then Satoru?â
"He is dead."
Your breath caught and your heart skipped a couple of beats before it began to break. Suguru was dead⊠Suguru⊠You stifled a cry, not wanting to cry in front of Satoru.
âIâm sorryâŠâ Satoru whispered.
âWhy are you sorry for?â Your voice coming out like a whisper from your throat.
âIt was meâŠâ
And then a cold breeze hit your face.
You shook your head and looked up at the sky trying to stop the crying. âItâs what you had to doâŠâ You heard Satoru's footsteps approaching you. âDid he say something before he died?â
âHe gave me this.â Satoru took your hand and placed an object on it. âHe told me he was sorry and that I love you until the last moment.â You carefully opened your hand, finding a ring.
You clenched your fist to your chest and began to sob. You felt Satoru's warm body wrap around you and try to calm those sobs that didn't stop coming out of you. After a few minutes, you managed to calm down and separated from Satoru.
âThank youâŠâ You said.
Satoru handed you a folded piece of paper. âMy number and Shoko's are written down. Call us when you need it or if... if you want to come back there again. Yaga wonât care and if the old guys say something, Iâll take care of it.â
You looked at the paper and then at Satoru. âI'll keep that in mind Satoru⊠thank you.â
âTake care.â He said and turned around to walk off.
You saw his silhouette get into a car and then disappear. Opening your hand again, you looked at the ring again.
âI love you Suguru.â You murmured kissing the ring and letting once again your tears flow.

Chapter Three
Master List | Chapter One
I looked down at Bonnie as she tugged on my arm, drawing my name out in a whine. âCan you tell me a bedtime story?â
I noticed how Bonnie seemed to cling to me the most, constantly wanting to hear more stories about my world. The others werenât as pushy, probably used to their dadâs antics surrounding magic. Bonnie was the youngest though, so she probably had more leeway.Â
âOnly if your dadâs okay with it,â I replied, looking towards said man.Â
âFine,â He huffed.
âYay!â Bonnie cheered, pulling me up to her room. This wasnât my first time up here, as a part of my chore list would be to help the kids clean their rooms. The upstairs only held one hallway that led to only four rooms. It was two kids per room, then Finn in his own room.Â
All the other kids had headed to bed, but tonight, Bonnie wanted me to tuck her in. She pulled me all the way into her room before bouncing on her bed, laying down and looking at me expectantly with a toothy grin. Stormo was already laying down, the soft light of the lamp illuminating the room in a warm orange tone. I walked over to Bonnie, taking her blanket and tucking her in gently. She wiggled excitedly, patting next to her for me to sit down.Â
As I sat down, I tried to think of a story to tell. I felt even more put on the spot with Finn who stood in the doorway, watching over the scene with his arms crossed.Â
âWhat kind of story do you wanna hear?â I asked, looking down at the blonde girl who wiggled her head onto my lap.
âHow did you meet daddy in your world?âÂ
I smiled, âI actually helped save him and Jake. So I was flying back home whenâŠâ
I told her about how they were attacking a beast to obtain an ingredient for Princess Bubblegum, but odds didnât seem to be in their favor. So I swooped down and distracted it, giving Finn clearance to knock the beast out. Him and Jake invited me to tag along and hang out sometime, and the rest is history. By the time I finished, Bonnie was passed out, sleeping soundly on my lap.Â
Not seeing a way out without waking her up, I inched lower into the bed and under the blankets. Slowly moving her head to lay on my chest. Thankfully, my injured wing didnât need to be bandaged anymore, and the scab was healing quickly. With one wing, I draped it over the two of us like a second blanket. I then realized that I wasnât able to turn the lantern off.Â
Finn thankfully, was there to save the day. He blew the lantern out, only to pat my head gently before exiting the room. I felt my cheeks flush, staring at the ceiling. As my eyes adjusted to the dark, my thoughts seemed to be rushing a mile a minute. Finn was closed off, a bit cold and standoffish. And heâs only been warming up to me. Iâve noticed how his stare directed towards me was no longer the harsh untrusting look, but a warmer, more accepting one. He started to talk to me more, taking in my input and sometimes even using my advice. Now, it seemed to even seep into a more physical form of caring.Â
Letting out a quiet sigh, I closed my eyes, willing myself to sleep.Â
âŠ
The next day, as I was busy carrying a bale of hay into the barn, I caught sight of Finn teaching Stormo some self defense. I hurried with my task, setting the hay bale in Bartramâs stall. I gave the donkey a quick pat on the head before exiting back outside.Â
I took a few minutes to catch my breath. Watching as the two Mertens sparred. I was slightly surprised that Finn was willing to teach them how to fight, but on the other hand, I understood why. With gangs who prey on the weak, to the mutant creatures Iâve heard about that prowl outside, they needed to know how to protect themselves, and each other.Â
âYou need to straighten your posture,â I spoke up, noticing how Stormo slightly hunched his shoulders in. âAnd widen your stance.â Walking over to the two, I fixed Stormos' posture and smiled in satisfaction as he seemed more confident.Â
This time, he did better during their spar. Finn didnât seem to put his all in it, but still managed to win. I sighed as Stormo seemed to keep letting his guard down, which let Finn get hits in.Â
âThat was a lot better,â I praised, clapping slightly. âBut you gotta keep in mind your openings. With every attack, you gotta think about what youâre leaving vulnerable. Make sure you protect your head and torso.â
âPerhaps a demonstration could help,â Finn spoke up.Â
A mischievous grin morphed onto my lips, âI donât knowâŠdonât want the kids thinking Iâm stronger than their daddy.â
âTry me.â
Stormo handed me the stick and I got into a defensive position, waiting for Finn to make the first move. A fierce spar it was, as we both got hits on each other. Sweat ran down my forehead as I focused on disarming the blonde haired man. We watched each other intently, and I felt like I was in my element. The urge to flutter my wings and sore around was strong, as when I sparred with my world's Finn, anything was allowed. But I kept myself on the ground, knowing it would be an unfair advantage to use.Â
Then suddenly, it all seemed to happen so quickly. My breath was knocked out of my lungs as Finn had managed to tackle me to the ground. Both our wooden stick swords fellâŠwho knows where. The atmosphere grew tense as we both panted, sweat covering our bodies. Our gazes were interlocked, and I could feel his breath hit my face.Â
A few seconds felt like hours before Finn lifted himself off of me. He offered me a hand and helped me stand back up as well.
âIt seems like you still need some practice,â He stated. But even with him speaking with his usual monotone, his eyes expressed the tease to that sentence. His lips barely quirked up, before he went back to his stoic expression.Â
My heart seemed to stutter, not able to make eye contact. A wave of embarrassment hit me even worse when I realized Stormo had just witnessed the entire encounter.Â
âI went easy on you,â I grumbled, my pride winning me over. âIf I were in a real fight I have the high ground.â I fluttered my wings slightly so he understood what I meant.Â
âThen letâs try again,â He offered, picking up the swords and tossing me mine. âThis time, donât hold back.â

friday nights & hot dates [kinktober 2023: slow & soft]
See the full Kinktober 2023 Collection here! See my full list of works here!
Summary: A few months after he first showed up at your house to keep you company on your birthday, Conrad finally tells you how he feels. | sequel to 'you deserve better'
Pairing: James Conrad x Reader
Word Count: 6.1k [please prepare drinkies & snacks accordingly]
Warnings: 18+ | smut (minors & pearl clutchers, get on outta here i won't ask twice); unprotected p in v sex; language; insecure reader; the smut scene is 1.3k words long idek if i should say sorry for this⊠[let me know if i missed anything!]
Things to be aware of: simp Conrad; a touch of aftercare in the end đłđ«
Dick-tionary (aka smut guide): smut starts at "Once he realized what you were about to do" and ends at "We're nowhere near done"
A loud chime boomed across the Monarch training field, announcing the top of the hour. The setting sun only barely blocked by the visor atop former Captain James Conrad's head and doing a piss poor job of straining his eyes as he watched on the first troop of soldiers assigned to the lab.
He'd been tasked to train the few handfuls of privates to be able to face the challenges that Skull Island would have in store for them throughout subsequent missions. They were decent enough, but to handle both navigating the hostile, monstrous terrain and serving as protective detail for the scientists on their tasks to obtain more samples and document its ecosystem, they would need to be exemplary. At the top of their game.
Especially if they are to be protecting Y/N, he thought to himself. Then again, he probably wouldn't let any of them anywhere near you. He would see to your protection personally. Make sure that there was little to no room for error when it came to your safety.
But they all had a long way to go before he decreed any of them ready for the field. And none of them would be closing the gap on their endurance or their agility within the next few minutes. The chime that rung out through the field not only signaled the top of the hour, but the end of your own work day, and he wanted to at least see you off to your ride home. Perhaps walk with you to the pick-up point.
"Alright, that's enough for today," he called out to the privates, everyone standing to attention at his word. "We'll resume on Monday morning. Get adequate rest this weekend."
He took off his training jacket and his visor, haphazardly running his hand through his short cropped hair. While he took a quick inventory of his belongings before heading off to your lab, one of the women privates approached him.
"Do you need anything, Pearson?"
She began to shuffle her stance, somewhat incapable of meeting his gaze as she spoke to him. "The other guys and I were going to check out the new Mexican place that opened up a few blocks from here. I was--I mean we were wondering if you'd like to join us?"
Pearson straightened her stance in a particular manner, jutting her chest out in a blatantly clear attempt to draw his attention to it. You're fresh out of luck, my attentions are for one woman and one woman only. And she's in the lab.
"Thank you for the invite, Pearson, but I have what you and your peers might say aâŠ'hot date' tonight." He fought against the smile playing at the corners of his mouth at the thought of being on a proper date with you.
"Oh." She barely tried to hide the disappointment in her voice. "Okay then. Have a good weekend, Sir."
"Don't look now but he's here again," Brooks muttered from across the lab, the sound of him clacking away on his keyboard taking the briefest pause to tell you that once again, the former SAS tracker James Conrad was right outside the door. "You ever gonna share with the class how you two became a thing? 'Cause we have a bet going on in the lab about who made the first move and--"
"There's nothing to share, Brooks, because we aren't a thing," you cut him off, taking on a snippy tone while you ran the genome of the last flora sample from the set you collected in Skull Island against every recorded organism known to man so far. "We're friends, that's all. Give it time and he'll get tired of slumming it out with me and go back to haunting pool bars and nameless hookups."
"I don't know, Y/L/NâŠI never had a friend look at me like that."
The results from your test finally came up on the screen, confirming that the flora on the island were all, in fact, undocumented. You took a quick screenshot and placed it into your report. "Looks like we're getting funded," you announced, your half-deadpanned tone met with a mixture of excitement and fear. "Don't everyone stand up at once, I know how pumped we all are to get back to the island of death."
You finally stood up from your desk, looking outside the door and seeing Conrad outside giving you a little smile when your eyes met. You tried to ignore how your heart started doing backflips in your chest at the sight of him, keeping your expression fairly neutral as you gave him a small wave in response. Once your computer had finished shutting down, you grabbed your things and bid everyone goodbye, stopping at Brooks's desk last.
"If what you mean is looking at me like a barnacle he can't scrape off his boat, I hope you never have friends that look at you like that, my guy."
Before you stepped through the door, your fellow scientist let out a final remark. "You know, Y/N, for someone so smart, you're a bit of an idiot sometimes."
"Takes one to know one, Brooks," you shot back, stepping across the threshold and almost immediately becoming face-to-chest with the tracker that towered over you effortlessly. "Hey Conrad," you said slowly, trying your best to keep a hold of your composure. "Did you need something from us? I think I have Bryant running CMP for the guys you're training you should have the results tomo--"
"I didn't come here for the blood tests, Y/L/N," he cut you off, giving you another little smile that had your pulse thumping violently at your throat. "I ermâŠit's Friday." His eyebrows scrunched together in the slightest wince at his words.
"It isâŠ" you echoed lamely, starting to tap away at your phone to get an Uber home, holding back the urge to sigh in relief seeing that your ride was only a few minutes away. "Have a good weekend, then," you tried to wave him off, pointing vaguely at the pick-up area, starting to awkwardly shuffle away from him.
He reached out and wrapped his hand around yours, stopping you before you got away too far. "Actually, I was thinkingâŠperhaps we could go and grab a bite to eat? There's a new place that opened up just a short walk from here. Maybe we could try it out?"
As if on cue, your stomach let out an audible grumble, rudely reminding you that the last time you ate was this morning before you left your house. Before you could dwell on it any further, you canceled your Uber, giving him a tiny smile of your own. "Lead the way."
Dinner was a rather quiet affair, the two of you starting off by sharing a plate of nachos before you ordered your mains. Sometime before your entrees were served, a small group of people you recognized as the privates being trained as the Monarch Defense Team walked through the doors, the women immediately spotting Conrad and tossing a scornful dismissive look your way.
"What's wrong?"
His voice took your attention away from the group, the motion of him reaching across the table to take your hand in his causing a resounding stomp from across the restaurant followed by a barely contained "What the fuck?!"
"It's uhhâŠit's nothing," you waved off, trying to slowly pull your hand away so as to not elicit a stronger reaction from the group and grab his attention. "JustâŠthinking about work. I have to put a recommendation for another mission to the island in my report."
"We'll be better prepared this time," he reassured you, his thumb rubbing across the back of your hand in a soothing motion. "We have a better idea of what we're to face when we get there, and what not to do. And with enough time the troop that I'm training might even be field ready, so you and your team would have better protection."
Your neck twitched at the idea of the woman with the derisive eyes being tasked to protect you. Might even just throw you to the gigantic insects voluntarily. "RightâŠat least the team will be safe."
"And you, Y/N," he insisted, giving your hand a light squeeze. "I'll see to it myself, I promise you."
You nodded at his words, feeling your face strain at the smile you tried to give him before slipping your hand out of his and standing up. "Ladies room, I'll be back in a few."
While you were in line for the restroom, your thoughts wandered to how you could potentially word your recommendation so that maybe you didn't have to go with the rest of the team back to Skull Island. You weren't physically cut out to be in such a high-stress environment, and frankly you would be more of a liability if people had to look out for you on top of trying to survive a hostile environment.
When your turn came up in the queue, you were stopped in your tracks by someone wrapping their hand around your arm in a claw-like grasp, yanking you slightly backwards. "We need to talk, Y/L/N," a woman seethed.
You swore your blood chilled to near freezing point when you saw the woman private from Conrad's troop, her hateful eyes and vicious sneer too close for comfort.
There was something troubling you, Conrad could tell that much as he watched you in line for the restroom. Much as he usually found it adorable when you were muttering to yourself over your research, he had to fight to resist the urge to stand up and do what he could to somehow put you at ease.
He knew that you weren't all too excited that you had to return to the island, but his gut told him that it was more than just that. You seemed almost fearful when he mentioned the troop that he was training, and not in the way that told him it was simply because you doubted their ability to guarantee your safety.
Did you not realize that he would never even think to put your safety in anyone's hands other than his own? Didn't you know how valuable you were to him? Of course he would keep you safe. He'd put you in the same tent if he could just to make sure you'd never leave his sight.
The sight of a woman marching towards you as if on a war path had him leaving his seat within seconds, immediately recognizing it to be Pearson. When she stopped you from moving and he clocked the vice grip she had on you it had him seeing red. He saw the way you flinched back when she started hissing in your face, her words making every muscle in his body tense and burn with the itch to protect you from someone so obviously spiteful.
"Don't tell me you're the hot date that Captain Conrad turned me down for, this has to be the biggest crock of shit I've ever heard in my life," she spat out. Your face contorted with obvious discomfort from her talon-like hand tightening around your arm, nails undoubtedly digging into your skin.
"Listen, Private Pearson, I think there might just be a misunderstanding," you spoke softly, your tone laced with caution. "He's probably gonna go to said 'hot date' after this, I'm just his friend. We're friendsâŠI thinkâŠ"
Silly sweet girl, he thought to himself. Are you really so unaware of how I see you?
"Do you really think I'm that stupid, Y/L/N? I don't need to have a PhD in God knows what the ever loving fuck to know that you're into him. The only thing I can't figure out to save my life is what the fuck he sees in a mousey jumpy little thing like you, and where you found the goddamn audacity to steal him away the way you did."
"I'm not trying to steal anyone," you insisted, trying to wrestle your arm out of her hold. "We're just friends, Private Pearson. Anyone with a functioning brain can see that he doesn't want me like that. You want him, he's all yours, you won't hear a peep out of me."
"You better be right," she scoffed, releasing you with a slight shove, causing you to stumble backwards and fight to find your balance for a few seconds before righting yourself on your feet again. "If you know what's good for you, you'll stay the fuck away from him. Preferably before you see what happens when your stupid little face gets me triggered."
Rather than give her a verbal agreement, you simply nodded your head, scurrying off into the restroom, your face looking as if it had been drained of color and your bottom lip quivering with an obvious concern for your own safety.
So this was why you were concerned over your protection detail if you had to return to the island. Of course. Who would ever feel safe if someone assigned to the team that was tasked to protect them behaved the way that Pearson was behaving now? Who was to say that it wasn't beneath her to intentionally endanger you out of sheer spite?
The private let out an arrogant huff, flipping her hair and standing up straight with a smug look on her face before making her way back to her table with the rest of the privates in her troop.
"Pearson," Conrad spoke, letting his irritation over the entire encounter lace his tone. She stopped in her tracks, turning slowly to face him with a touch of fear in her eyes. Good, you should be afraid after the way you just spoke to the woman I love.
"CapâŠCaptain Conrad, hi!" Her cheeks strained with the smile she tried to keep plastered on her face despite the obvious nervousness that remained in her eyes. "We're so glad you decided to join us after all, we're seated over--"
"You're dismissed. Don't bother coming in on Monday." Her face fell immediately, indignation coloring her expression. "If you cannot treat the people you're expected to defend and protect with professionalism and respect, then you're not fit to stay on this team, let alone be deployed to the island."
"Come on, all this for a shifty little nothing? This is completely unfair!" she scoffed. "You could do so much better than her--"
"Hold your damn tongue, Pearson. I won't have you disrespect her--"
"She can't even hear us!"
"But I can." He began to raise his voice, calling the attention of the other patrons in the restaurant. "That's the woman I love you're talking about. It would be wise for you to choose your next words very carefully."
All the color drained from her face and she stood up straight again, back at full attention. "I apologize, Sir. I'll have my locker cleared before the weekend's over." And then she made her way back to her table, heavy footsteps sounding throughout the whole restaurant.
As Conrad sat back in his seat waiting for you to return, he replayed his own words over and over in his mind. After all this time keeping his emotions bottled in for the sake of preserving what friendship he had with you, the words had finally formed and solidified what had been building ever since the day he met you on the way to that forsaken death island.
He loved you.
By the time you made your way back to your table, you spotted Conrad signing a receipt and placing his credit card back into his wallet.
"You know I keep a tally on how many times you've refused to let me pay, right?" you sighed, taking out your phone and once again trying to book for an Uber home. "I'm perfectly fine with and capable of splitting the bill."
"Next time."
"I also keep a tally on how many times you've said exacty that." You shuffled your feet awkwardly where you stood, avoiding looking at both him and the table that sat his trainees, including the cruel witch that was Private Pearson. "Well uhmâŠI should get going, it's getting late. Enjoy your weekend, Conrad."
He reached out before you took another step, placing his hand at the curve of your waist. "Walk with me back to the lab and I'll drive you home."
The sound of a fist slamming down on one of the tables made you take a step back from his hold. You didn't have to look to know who it was or what caused the outburst. "I-I really don't wanna be a bother, it's fine. Really. I can take care of myself."
You tried to step forward again, making him stand from his seat, placing a large hand on your shoulder before running down the length of your arm to lace his fingers between yours. "You could never be a bother for me, Y/L/N," he spoke softly, lightly touching your chin with his other hand. "Come on."
For the most part throughout the drive to your place, he was touching you. Whether it be holding your hand between stoplights to make you stop picking at your fingernails, or rubbing circles on your knee to stop you from fidgeting, all the while keeping his other hand steadily on the wheel.
It was hands down one of the most illegally distractingly attractive things you'd ever seen. A sight that you thought was only reserved for leading ladies in those romance books you read, definitely not something you were supposed to experience in your lifetime.
It had you fighting back the urge to pout when you saw your house start to come into view, knowing that in a few short moments it would all be over. He gave your knee a light squeeze once he'd pulled up in front of your hourse, making quick work to make his way around the front of his car to open the door for you and undo your seatbelt.
The combined scent of his woodsy citrusy cologne and something that was just uniquely him seared itself into your brain as his face was mere inches from yours. He made it even worse reaching for your hand to hold you steady while you stepped out of the car.
"Thanks, Conrad," you muttered when you got to your door, your mind spinning from the feel of him running his thumb across your knuckles. "You should uhmâŠprobably get going. Don't wanna keep you from any other plans you might have tonight."
You felt your pulse start beating furiously at your neck when he answered you. "What plans?"
Didn't Pearson have a full blown meltdown over him talking about a hot date and then seeing you with him at dinner? What the fuck was he going on about?
"Come on, Conrad, you don't have to pretend, it's just us here. Pearson practically yanked my spine from my throat earlier at the restaurant harping on about you having plans tonight so really, I'm sure you have better things to do on a Friday night you don't have to feel like you'reâŠI don't know, obligated? To spend time with me. And at least you'll stop looking like you're doing some weird pity charity work, too--"
"Y/N, stop." He took a step toward you, closing the distance and framed your face in his large hands. "The only plans I had for tonight were with you. Do you remember what I told you all those months ago, that first night I came here?" You only stared at him blankly, wordlessly prompting him to answer it himself. "I wanted to let you know that I'm here. For you. And I still am. I always will be."
Before you could respond, he leaned in, pressing a delicate kiss to your lips. Fleeting, but it resumed the near violent fluttering in your stomach from the contact. He gave you no time to react before he pressed his lips to yours again, wrapping his arms around you and cradling your head with his hand before pressing you against the door.
"Look at me, sweetheart," he breathed out when he broke the kiss. Your breath hitched in the back of your throat when you saw how dilated his pupils had become after that kiss. "How is it that you're so observant of everything around you and yet you fail to see what's right in front of you?"
"Conrad what--"
"How could you look at me and not see a man so desperately, so irretrievably in love?"
You swore all the air left your lungs at his words. In love? No. This couldn't be real. This was beyond simply improbable, this was impossible.
There was no way on this Earth that he felt the same.
"I can almost hear the gears in your brilliant mind turning, Y/L/N," he said softly, weaving his fingers into your hair as he proceeded to press tender kisses on your temple and the side of your face. "Invite me inside. Let me take you to your bedroom. Let me show you what you mean to me."
Before you could think about it any longer, you wordlessly slipped your key into his hand, slowly nodding your head. The only response you got from him was him latching his lips onto your neck, groaning into your skin as he lifted you off the ground with one arm, unlocking your door with the other.
He'd carried you all the way upstairs to your bedroom, constantly pressing a kiss wherever his lips could reach. When he started fumbling for the light switch, you tried to hold out your hand to stop him. "No lights," you muttered. If you wanted this to go anywhere even remotely good tonight, that would require him not running for the hills the second he got you naked.
"Without the lights, I can't see you, sweet girl," he said back teasingly, kissing along your jawline until he captured your lips, smiling into the kiss.
"Exactly," you murmured against his lips, causing him to chuckle against your skin.
"Seeing you is the best part of my day," he told you simply, flipping the switch on and bathing your bedroom in a warm white glow. Your heart skipped a beat at the sight of the brilliant smile he gave you once he saw your face. "There you are."
He set you down on your feet, touching the top button of your shirt with a question in his eyes, only proceeding to undo the button when you have him a slight nod. Once enough skin was exposed to him, he started to trace a line of kisses across your collarbone, running his hands down your arms to strip the shirt off from you. And then he sent your mind racing as he gave you the same treatment working both your pants and panties down your legs.
"I've dreamed of this since the island," he whispered into your skin, kissing his way back up to your lips as he reached behind you, unclasping your bra. "Lie down on the bed, my love. Let me see you."
He kept your hand in his as you lowered yourself to lie on your back, your heart thundering in your chest and your lip quivering as his eyes hungrily roamed your body. Thoughts began to swim in your head again, of how different, how much less toned nearly all parts of you were compared to him. Compared to the women he'd been with before. You tried to pull your hand away from his, to start to cover yourself.
Once he realized what you were about to do, he moved to hover over you on the bed, placing his hand in the space between your arm and your torso to block your way. "No," he said simply before leaning down to press a kiss to your lips. "Don't hide yourself from me." He kissed his way down your neck to your chest, paying close attention to your breasts, holding you steady as you squirmed under him while he kissed and sucked your nipples into stiff peaks.
"ConradâŠ" Your voice came out faint, the air too thick to breathe while you drowned in his attentions. His lips moved down your stomach, peppering kisses along your mound before placing his hands on your inner thighs and gently parting your legs, opening yourself more to him.
You clenched around nothing watching him lick his lips before his eyes found yours, desperate whimpers coming out of you when he started kissing along your inner thighs. The ache between your legs started to grow stronger the closer his mouth got to where you craved him.
"Conrad!" Your back arched off the bed when he licked up the length of your slit and pressed a fleeting open-mouthed kiss to your clit.
"Lay back down, sweetheart." Your back immediately met the mattress again at his soft spoken order, your stomach fluttering violently again at the sight of him standing over you and pulling his shirt over his head. "You are the most breathtaking sight," he breathed out. "My loveâŠ"
"Could say the same from here," you shot back, still struggling to breathe properly under his gaze. The air was practically stuck in your throat the second his hands went to his pants, taking his time to undo his belt and pants, every muscle on his perfectly sculpted body moving and flexing as if he was trying to seduce you with such a seemingly mundane action.
As if he needed to seduce you.
The sound that came out of you was borderline inhuman the second he pushed his pants down his legs, and you'd gotten a good look at the sheer size of him. There's no way that's gonna fit, you thought nervously. "Conrad, I don't--" You huffed out a deflated sigh. "It's been an embarrassingly long while since I've--"
"It's alright, sweetheart." He quickly made his way back to his position on the bed, pressing a line of kisses along your jaw until he reached your lips, making an almost relieved sound against your lips. "We'll go slow. Please just tell me if I hurt you, that's the last thing I'd ever want."
Your eyes flew open at the feel of his length pressing against your entrance, your walls stretching just shy of the point of discomfort as you accommodated to his size. Any other thoughts and doubts in your mind took a backseat to the sound of Conrad's soft groans as he inched his way into you.
You'd never felt this unbelievably full.
He moaned your name in your ear. "Like you were made for me." He pressed his lips to your temple, the gesture somewhat calming your erratically beating heart. "I'll keep going now."
"Wait Conrad you what--Oh!" You felt a thrill at the back of your head once he pushed even further in, more arousal rushing and slickening your inner walls clenching around him as if pulling him deeper into you. All you could utter over the overwhelming pleasure he was subjecting you to was a faint whimper of his name.
"I love you, Y/N," he sighed in contentment, his warm exhale hitting your already heated skin before he resumed kissing along the side of your face.
"Don't say that," you blurted out. "You don't have to--"
"I want to," he cut you off, moving his head to capture your lips in a heated kiss, his tongue licking at your bottom lip. "I've wanted to tell you for so long please don't tell me to stop. I can't--"
"No one's ever said it. Not to me. I'm not--I've never been--"
Your words stilled him. He rested his forehead on yours, the tip of his nose brushing against your own. "All the more reason for me to tell you." He muffled your moan with a kiss when he inched in even more. "I love you." He kissed up your neck, gently capturing your earlobe between his teeth before kissing the same spot. "I'll say it so often everyone around us will be sick of hearing me say the words."
"ConradâŠ" you cried out when he finally bottomed out, your hips flush together. "Please--"
"I love you." He started moving his hips in slow grinding circles, repeating the words every time he fully entered you.
The words were lodged stubbornly in the back of your throat; all you could utter was his name while your body trembled trying to raise your hips to meet his thrusts. Meanwhile a vicious voice in the back of your mind questioned if this was even real, refusing to accept any reality where a guy like James Conrad actually genuinely fell in love with you.
You lived by the saying that if something sounded too good to be true, then it probably was. And thisâŠthis sounded like a chick lit romance novel where the devastatingly handsome decommissioned soldier fell for the nerdy scientist that most days couldn't even bother to check if her hair looked alright from the back.
This was definitely too good to be true. And all you could do now was allow yourself the fleeting opportunity to lose yourself in the pleasure he was more than capable of and seemed quite willing to give you.
And brace yourself for the moment he pulled away. The moment he finally realized that yes. Yes he could do better, actually.
Before you could dwell on it any further, he pulled you out of your spiraling thoughts when his fingers made contact with the throbbing bundle of nerves above your entrance, rubbing at the spot with the same languid pace of his thrusts.
"You feel divine, my love," he moaned in your ear, pressing his lips to a spot behind it that sent your mind reeling, the tension tightening in your stomach even further. "Come for me, Y/N." He upped his pressure on your clit, still keeping the pace with his slow, deep thrusts.
The coiling tension finally snapped when he started sucking at your skin, your walls convulsing around him while your body shook under him, your hold on his shoulder blade weakening until you finally let go, arm landing on the mattress with a soft thud. He stilled his movement inside you, capturing your lips in a tender kiss while you came down from your high.
"I love you," he kept whispering between kisses. The words had you feeling the traitorous tears prickling in the back of your eyes, every part of you filled with the overpowering urge to say them back. Tell him that you felt the same.
Instead you wanted to slap yourself for the question that slipped from your mouth. "Wait what about you?"
The smirk he gave you in response had thrills shooting throughout your body, feeling the faintest tinge of embarrassment in the back of your mind when you felt your pussy clenching around him at the sight. His mouth stretched into a devilish grin as he thrusted into you in return, his eyes filled with an obvious mix of sexual and romantic intent.
"Don't you worry about me, sweetheart," he rasped, starting to slowly grind his hips again. "We're nowhere near done."
He's not coming back. He left the bedroom and give it time, you're gonna hear him leave the house.
You were being irrational, and most of your mind recognized your thoughts for what they were: absolutely batshit crazy and dead wrong. For one, Conrad left the room without a stick of clothing covering him, telling you he was going to get water. He didn't know how to navigate most of your house so it would reasonably take him a few minutes to actually go get it and come back up.
That didn't stop you from making your way to the head of the bed, and crawling under the covers, drawing your knees to your chest as if you were bracing yourself for emotional impact. You caught a glimpse of your reflection on the full-length mirror, instinctively bringing your hand up to your hair to start working at the knots and tangles that developed over the last few hours.
Conrad came back to the room at that moment, holding a water bottle and two cups, giving you a soft smile as he looked on at all the effects from your lovemaking. "You look like an angelâŠperched on a cloud." He handed you your cup before pouring one for himself, raising an eyebrow at you when you remained sitting motionless and staring at him blankly. "What is it, sweetheart?"
"I just--I thought you were just gonna get for--"
"Myself?" You nodded at him once he finished for you, making him click his tongue in disappointment, realizing what kind of experiences you'd had before. "You're making it too easy for me to spoil you. I could never be so selfish." He briefly touched his glass to yours, the clinking sound filling the room before you both downed your drinks.
Even while he climbed back onto the bed, situating himself beside you and pulling you into his arms, your irrational thoughts that he'll redress himself in a few minutes time and leave plagued your mind.
"You're looking at me like you expect me to disappear," he murmured, lightly tracing along the lines of your face with his fingertips. "What's wrong, Y/N?"
Come on, you stupid little scaredy cat just tell him. Three words. Three monosyllabic words so simple a kid can say them. Just say it.
"You're still here," you blurted out, immediately wanting to swallow your tongue when his face dropped.
Wrong three words, you fucking idiot.
"Do you want me to leave?" His words came out strained, as if it physically hurt him to say them.
"No, I don't. It's justâŠI expect it. And if I can be honest I'm still kind ofâŠwaiting."
"Waiting for what?"
You pursed your lips, a part of you already feeling silly for the words about to come out your mouth. "Post-coital clarity?"
He let out a slow sigh, his hold tightening around you while he cupped your face with his free hand, stroking along your cheekbone with his thumb. "And what in the world is that?"
"It's this--Honestly it's silly, really--"
"It doesn't seem silly to you." He leaned in to press a soft kiss to your lips, pulling you closer when you melted against him at the gesture. "So it's not silly to me. Tell me what it is."
You took a deep breath, your fingers absentmindedly tracing along the lines on his abdomen while you explained. "It's this phenomena thatâŠonce you've slept with someone, the attraction goes away. Your mind's more clear, you're no longer overpowered by this attraction and you realize that the person you just had sex with isn't as appealing as they were before you got together."
It took him a few seconds before he spoke again, maneuvering you so that you were now on top of him, straddling his stomach, his hands skimming up and down your sides.
"Why is it so hard for you to accept that I love you?"
The question seemed so ridiculous to you. "Because nobody ever has. Nobody does--"
"You're wrong," he cut you off, pulling you close until your chests were pressed together. "I know it might not happen often but it's happening now. You're wrong, and I'm living proof of it. Because I'm here. I'm here and I love you. The only clarity that came to me is that I want more than anything for us to become more. For what we shared tonight be more than a one-time thing."
He wrapped his arms tighter around you, pulling you into a tender kiss that had your heart fluttering when he licked into your mouth, his tongue gliding against yours. "I'm no good with words," you said breathlessly when he broke the kiss, his chest heaving against yours. "I've never been able to say how I feel, I can't--"
"Shh it's alright, sweetheart," he breathed, holding you by the back of your neck to rest your forehead against his. "You don't need those fancy words you use in your report. It's just us here. Whatever you wish to tell me, in the plainest words--"
"I love you, too."

So, I think that the problem is that the creation of facts is an inherently collective enterprise. Like, nature, broadly defined, will do whatever it does beyond human control; results can be obtained independently. But *facts* about nature (about history, about mathematics, about anything else) only come into being through collective action. You need enough people to run the experiment, to verify the proof, to consider the evidence and ensure that you're coming to the right conclusion. Science is only science because it's reproducible and facts are only facts if they've been reproduced; and scientists are, of necessity, the privileged class that you need to be able to trust--in the aggregate, not individually--to be able to make these judgements because they've spent their lifetimes learning all of the facts that have been previously established about these matters, and about experimental design and so on. The overwhelming majority of people will never conduct most experiments, because they can't; they're too expensive, they're too complicated, they can't be performed in public and laypeople wouldn't know whether they're being conducted fairly in any case. And so, matters of fact are not just collectively created, but for the overwhelming majority of people, necessitate a certain degree of trust in others, and in the institutions of science and academia. Trust that if *you* put in the years of study, and if *you* ran the experiment, *you* would probably get the same result. And the modernist view of the world is constituted from that.
But then you have neoliberalism, which is like an acid dissolving all forms of collective organisation; and you have denialism, bankrolled by powerful interest groups and corporations, contributing to a culture of conspiracy theories, where you trust no one, least of all collectives, least of all collectives that claim to know more than you. And so, not only does the authority of science suffer, but *facts*, as they've been constituted since the time that Robert Boyle managed to convince everyone that vacua existed in the 17th century, no longer *exist* in a very fundamental way. Nature continues to speak, but we, each to our own little pod, have become deaf to it. And that's why the world is burning and we refuse to do anything, and why an antivaxxer with a worm-eaten brain is about to be put in charge of the health of hundreds of millions of people.

can't remember if i've spread the grasshopper propaganda on tumblr yet but izzy and i talked about them again today and i must share them with the world (and also it is soooo frustrating to me that amidst the lifesteal yuri craze no one has mentioned the doomed yuri that's Right There)
so. squiddo and jumper. squishing them in my hands
the end of s5 means sooo much to me because like. they literally fight to the very end with basically just each other (ash isn't there for enough of it so he doesn't count to me. also the yuri demons ate him) and you want to tell me they're just normal about it?? squiddo obtained god powers and used them (despite being morally fairly neutral about the end of the server!!) to keep jumper alive as long as they possibly could, despite understanding that it probably wouldn't matter. jumper literally put her life in squiddo's hands. can anyone hear me
and from a wider view, they are such a match made in tragedy like. jumper has such strong morals, doesn't forgive particularly easily, doesn't shy away from condemning people and actions just because they're not what she wants/would have done -- and then there's squiddo. moral foggy at best, follows her own whims without any particular moral bent, but agonizingly loyal once she's pledged alliance to someone. jumper takes squiddo's loyalty to pb+j to mean that they're on the same page, that squiddo's doing this for the same reasons she is, and she's not exactly wrong but the full picture doesn't reveal itself until the end. jumper tried to save the server, did everything she did, because she felt it was her moral obligation to, because it would have been an act of monumental apathy to sit back and watch her world die. squiddo did it because they thought the server needed a hero, and they were equipped enough to fill that role. whenever squiddo's squishy morals showed through, it sucked all the air out of the room. there was never an ending where both of them were happy.
it's also such a clash of understanding and naivety. they lived through the same server and yet they see it so differently. jumper has really only ever been on the side of good, but squiddo's been the evil, the apathetic, the hero. squiddo sees the end of the world coming from a mile away and she knows her harbinger's name is wemmbu; she's seen destruction, seen his commitment to it. jumper understands none of it. her only true clash with "evil" was the abyss, and she was able to stop it! her efforts were so much of the reason why the foundation succeeded! so why should this be any different? that was an end of the world, same as this. what makes this so unstoppable? squiddo sees the headlights coming down the road, jumper walks in front of them believing they are not for her, and there is nothing either of them can do to stop death approaching.
yeah. ramble over i think. they were doomed from the start and fought to the end and i think about them every day
#i need someone else to get it. tragic yuri enjoyers where are you#i also can't tell if this is even coherent. might be ramblings of a madman#but the sentiment is there#long post#ish#lifesteal shipping#jumperwho#squiddo#winter.txt
