I smoke because it feels good. Every breath I take, it feels like I'm slowly fading away, but every puff I take...it feels like heaven. Then again, what is heaven? Do we really know? No, we don't. So when we say heaven is something beautiful, magical and safe... how do we really know that? What if heaven doesn't actually exist. What if the angels we predicted don't actually look like how we think? What if the angels are horrifying beings we wouldn't wish to ever see? Something so nerve-racking, it would make oneself turn against them. Something so sinister, it makes us want to tear the skin off our flesh and rip off our limbs, one by one. No matter how scary it is, we still feel comfort in it somehow, but why? Is it because our minds are so twisted to the point that we seek comfort in those more frightening? Or simply because we are touch-starved? No, because since birth, we have had affection and warmth from our mothers or fathers. We simply live for attention. It may not feel that way, but it's true. We greed for something that we love. Even if it hurts others. We attach ourselves to others just because we want their love and attention, and when one doesn't get it, they feel hated, uncared for, useless...it's all the same no matter what. It's all just an endless loop that carries on until you finally snap and start isolating yourself to the point you go insane, mentally, and physically unstable. Which is then when you start testing your own limits. Wondering what the point of life is, and why everything you do just hurts you in the end. Yet all you do is start to blame others for your actions, and then you start getting violent with those who care about you. Pushing them aside when you need it the most, leading you to break apart, peice by piece. Leaving you to restart and put yourself back together over and over, and over again, to where you've finally had enough.
