"I just don't understand why you needed to borrow my character sheets. You don't even know what most of this means," Dustin said as he handed over the papers.
"I just need to see something," Steve replied, taking the papers and adding it to his mess of a kitchen table. Other character sheets were strewn all over, most filled out, but some empty. A couple of books were open on random pages, recognizable images of weapons and monsters visible to anyone who walked by.
"Why does it look like you're studying for a college degree in D&D?" Dustin asked.
Steve looked up at him, eyes blank, mouth in a straight line. "Because I finally got accepted to Indiana State. Go away."
"Fine! I want those sheets back though!" Dustin said as he left Steve to his studying.
Hours must have passed, the light outside turning to dusk before Steve thought to take a break. His head hurt, his vision was blurry, and he didn't feel any closer to understanding a god damn thing.
He thunked his head against the table, letting out pained groan as his head throbbed.
"Are you looking for something or have you decided to finally play with us?" Eddie's voice said directly behind him, making him nearly fall out of his seat. "Shit, sorry. Thought you heard me come in."
Eddie's hands were on Steve's arms, squeezing, centering.
Like he knew exactly what he needed to lose the slight hint of remaining panic left in his chest.
"I was just trying to figure out if there actual dragons in this game or if that was also made up," Steve said, sitting back and putting distance between them. He couldn't breathe when Eddie was touching him, which was often. He was starting to worry about oxygen deprivation to his brain. "Disappointed to find out the dungeons part seems like it's up to the DM."
"The whole thing is pretty made up, Stevie. That's the point," Eddie smirked, but it fell away when Steve turned back to the messy table. "Are you, like, wanting to play?"
And this is why he wanted to keep it a secret. Maybe he shouldn't have had everything spread out in the open like this, but he'd assumed he was safe in his own home. With the door locked. And with Eddie supposedly playing the Hideout tonight.
He looked back at Eddie. "Why are you here?"
"Dustin said something about you not answering the phone after he left hours ago and you seemed pissed off or something," Eddie shrugged. "Just wanted to check on you."
"The phone? It didn't ring." Steve didn't think so anyway. He had admittedly tuned his surroundings out entirely once Dustin was gone. "But it's Tuesday."
"Uh huh. It is Tuesday. How long have you been sitting at this table?"
"Ha. Funny." Steve rolled his eyes. "You play the Hideout Tuesdays. Tuesdays are for Corroded Coffin, Wednesdays are for dinner with Wayne, and Thursdays are Hellfire."
Eddie blinked at him. "Yes, usually that's true. But, wait. Sorry. You have my schedule memorized?"
"I mean, some of it, yeah. The parts where I know you won't be nearby or easily reached."
Steve knew it was ridiculous, but how the hell could he make sure he was safe if he didn't even know what Eddie was doing?
Eddie looked like he wanted to say something else about it, but must have changed his mind. He pulled out the chair next to Steve, turned it towards him, and sat down.
"So you've been studying this stuff for..." Eddie leaned in, eyebrows raised in silent question.
"I dunno. A few weeks. I didn't have most of the sheets until a couple days ago though," Steve gestured towards the papers spread out. "I still don't really get it."
"You've been studying for weeks? Stevie, why didn't you just ask me or any of the kids to help explain it?" Eddie almost sounded hurt. "I've been playing for half my life! And I've been a DM for half of that!"
Truthfully, Steve was trying to learn so he could have conversations with Eddie about the stuff he liked. That was basically lesson number one on how to get someone to like you, and Steve had already tried the music thing and failed.
He just wasn't that into the echo of loud guitars and angry drums.
He couldn't exactly ask Eddie to teach him everything and then turn around and try to use what he taught him to flirt with him. That was lame and embarrassing.
"Steve?" Eddie had his hand on Steve's leg, leaning in further towards Steve. He must've been trying to get Steve's attention while he was lost in thought. "I'm kidding. I mean, I wish you'd said something sooner, but if this is how you get into it, I'm not gonna stop you."
"I just wanted to surprise you."
Steve could hear how pitiful that sounded, could hear the whine in his voice that he wasn't able to pull his plan off. As if Eddie would even care! Eddie was the most easygoing, laidback, chaotic person he'd ever met. He would just be happy to have someone else in his little club.
"Surprise me? For what?"
He was also incredibly slow when it came to feelings.
"Because I want to spend more time with you! Because I like you! Because I want you to like me!" Steve tried not to sound frustrated, but his headache was turning into a real problem, and he was tired, and sick of hiding things. Robin told him to just be honest, so he was. "I wanted to surprise you the next time Hellfire was here and have all this knowledge, but it's hard! I don't even know how you keep up with most of this, let alone all the characters? There's like...at least 800 options for how to use weapons and spells. I can't even remember half the races or classes or whatever. I don't even know if those are the same thing. And I keep getting distracted thinking about how you look when you stand at the end of the table and do one of those stupid accents."
"Are they stupid if they're this distracting?" Eddie was smirking, suddenly more confident than Steve had maybe ever seen him.
"They are stupid. That's why it's distracting. And I'm stupid for letting it get to me!" Steve leaned forward, put his head on Eddie's shoulder. The angle wasn't the best, but he didn't care. "You get to me so bad, Munson."
"You're kinda easy to get to, Harrington." Eddie's lips briefly pressed against the side of Steve's head. "Been waiting for you to catch up."
"What do you mean?" Steve pulled away. "I've been trying to get you to realize for months!"
"You came to one show at the Hideout. I think Robin's been to more shows and she's a lesbian."
"She told you?!"
"Steve, she spilled every secret she's ever had when she kept me company in the hospital. I think I know things you don't even know."
Steve let his head fall down against Eddie's shoulder again. "I should've known you were teaming up."
"I wouldn't call it that. She just wanted to look out for us," Eddie's hand cupped the back of Steve's head. "So what did you learn?"
"Probably nothing useful."
"Well, it's easier to be an active learner. I could use an assistant on Thursday if you want some hands on experience," Eddie's fingers scratched at Steve's scalp, melting his brain and making him feel like he was completely weightless. "If you just wanna watch, that can be arranged too."
"You don't let people watch," Steve mumbled against his shoulder, his weight sagging against Eddie.
"I think I can bend my own rule for my boyfriend, right?" Steve could feel Eddie's heartbeat quickening beneath his ear.
His face felt warm as he realized what Eddie was implying. "Only if your boyfriend can sit next to you."
"I think that can be arranged."
"Oh, and I'd like to trap Dustin's character."
Eddie snorted, kissed Steve's head again. "That can be arranged, too."

ᴀ ʀᴜʟᴇ ᴏꜰ ᴀꜱʜ & ꜱᴛᴏʀᴍ ───── ♛
pairing: evil!hiccup x f!mute!reader
wc: 1.7k
tw: yandere, implied kidnapping, obsessive/possessive behavior, mention of blood/violence, mention of death
synopsis: You regretted the day they left him for dead. And you’d regret the day you ever saw him again—he’d make sure of that.
A gleam of orange blazed in the bleakness of night.
You watched from your hilltop window—the thatched roofs off the eastern slopes of Berk twisting and writhing in flames. Even from a distance, you heard the breaking moans of ceilings, the cracks and bends of collapsing wooden structures, and the piercing wails of scales met with sharp edges of iron. Despite The Red Death’s fall, dragon raids still plagued the lands.
Perhaps it was all a sign of retribution.
You were told to stay within the safe confines of your home. Your father hadn’t wanted to risk your life, considering how precious you’d become. The next Seer in line after Gothi, gifted with spiritual wisdom, healing, and authority of officiating the next chief.
But the price to pay had been steep.
The house was dark, not even the smallest candle lit. Nothing that would draw a glimmer of attention to the home. A creak ached the roof above, and you flitted your nose up to the rafters, drawing lines across the ceiling. Nothing but your shallow breaths filled the silent dark.
The hearth then erupted with flame and spark, jolting you from back to neck bone. Had you any voice, a strangled scream would’ve ripped from your throat. Twisting, you had almost forgotten to breathe. A figure shrouded in shadow and leather stood beside the crackling firewood. Light and dark danced in an undulating battle across the strangers’ features–revealing a horrifying familiarity.
“Hope you don’t mind if I warm this place up a bit.” That voice, boy-ish in tone, lacked any hint of innocence or niceties. He stretched a gloved hand towards the licking flames, doing nothing to warm the ice coating his insides. “Couldn’t help but notice you looked a little cold and...alone.”
A snap of wood made you flinch; addressing him with quivering lips and dilated eyes. Your long-lost greeting didn’t forebode well.
Every piece of leather tightened around his body as he shifted. Turning to ensnare you within his talon like stare. When embers casted a sheen across his face, you braced against the sight. Soft features long since abandoned, reforged into a visage of cold iron. Carved and littered with scars and nicks across his furrowed brows, cheeks, and clenched jaw line.
“Well, this is kind of embarrassing. Wait, no. That’s not the word I was looking for. More like—disappointing. That sounds like a better fit. For you and everyone else here.” Hiccup stalked forward, a contraption of metal clanking and scratching against the splintering floors. Each step clanged through you, until he stood one heartbeat away. “After all these years, I’d thought you’d have a bit more to say than a blank stare. Every night, I dreamed about how this conversation would go. Just like how I dreamed things could be better than what they were. Funny how you can plan for things to go a certain way, but then…”
He pressed his hands at each side of your head, the glass window behind begging to crack from the pressure. His scent permeated, forcing you to swallow. Once smelling of spring honey and rolling glades, now sundered to singe your senses like bone ash and lightning storms.
“Looks like I’m not the only one who’s a little different.” He placed a calloused finger into the dip of your clavicle. He dug and dug until your pained gasp fell deaf to his ears. Tilting his head, he curled the lip of his mouth. “So, just like Gothi, you gave up your voice. Good—great, actually. This works out better for me.”
The smile that crept over his lips never made it up to his eyes. Not like before. Those vibrant meadows sullied into a sickly, muddled green. Thick and ichorous. And dared you stare long enough, you could never trudge your way out. Although you already felt stuck within them, your hand slipped silently into the pocket of your dress, where your fingers brushed against the hilt of a dagger.
You drew it a mere inch before his hand captured yours, twisting until he pried it into his possession.
“Come on. We both know you were never good at fighting.” He chuckled, wagging the sharpest point between your trembling eyes. “I’ll admit it. I wasn’t either back then. That’s something we had in common…until I had to be. Guess that didn’t work out in anyone’s favor on this wet piece of rock. Now, did it?”
Your vision blurred. Screams of the village roared in your ears. Screeches of dragons pierced through the air, engulfed in smoke and fire. Having consumed so much in its wake, you felt the heat of chaos leech into the glass. Searing your back pressed against it.
“Woah. Hey, don’t cry. It’s fine. Don’t worry about it,” he swept a rough thumb over a falling tear stain. “Not all of them will die tonight. I mean, just think about it for a second. Can’t be chief and rule over a bunch of burnt corpses. How counterintuitive would that be?”
“As for you though…” he continued, and your heart stalled as he traced the cold metal down your flush cheek and neck, pausing just above your breastbone. “I’m only standing here, watching everything and everyone turn to ash around us, all because of you. And don't tell me you don't remember. When you mended my leg. Somehow kept me from bleeding out. Just before the entire village abandoned me.” His clouded eyes narrowed down. “Including you.”
Releasing you from his pinning weight, your legs wobbled. As if he hadn’t just snatched your foothold underneath. Terror kept your feet webbed in place, watching as he twirled your dagger in his fingers like a child's play thing. Crouching near the fire, he mindlessly poked and prodded at the stoking wood. He picked away a scrap of charred chipping, before plunging the blade into the flank of the burning log. You gazed at him, chest tight, aching. How he hadn’t flinched when the fire slicked around his hand like oil.
He dragged the smoldering stump from the hearth, creating a scorched line. When the licks of fire seeped into the house floors, he rose, one vertebra at a time.
“If I’m being honest, I probably would’ve done the same thing.” He unhooked a masked contraption from his belt buckle and tightened it over his face. The eye sockets were of yellow stained sea glass, and the mouth of it appeared like a muzzle of iron teeth. “Leave something already weak, then crippled to survive on its own. Gambling on the high-stakes of death. So sure of the outcome, no one bothered to turn over a shoulder.” Hellfire rose and swelled in the reflection of his mask. “Maybe they should’ve.”
The rapid hunger of the hearth fire blazed and curled across the floor of the home. Heat lapped towards your skin, drawing out sweat from your pores. Dense smoke began filling the wooden death chamber. You inhaled the black snowflakes, searing your lungs once they melted inside you. You slapped a hard hand over your mouth, coughing and shuddering against it. A pang of panic willed your body to move. You attempted to open the window behind you, but to your horror, it had been welded to the frame.
Your eyes watered, hugging the wall as you traced it to the door. When the handle clattered against your pulls and tugs, a ghostly laugh floated around you. The metal was bolted shut from the outside. A bout of nausea cramped your stomach. Fear darted your eyes toward the stairs, where the flames hadn’t yet reached—but soon. Perhaps the window of your room hadn’t been tampered with.
You darted towards the steps, and before you could place one foot up, a black beast stalked from the darkness of the second floor.
The floating embers danced hauntingly over the onyx scales, and gashes rippled in the firelight. Revealing wounds healed twice, perhaps three times over. That body of night perfectly reflected it's master’s outward appearance.
And as you drowned in those feral slits of pure abandon, it was apparent they also shared the same broken, unmendable soul.
“Oh. You remember Toothless, don’t you?” Your face paled, backing slowly as the Nightfury slithered down the steps like black ink. A predatory growl rumbled above the snapping and collapsing wood around you. Hiccup sauntered to the dragon’s side, patting the thick of his neck, pulsing with power. Another laugh at your expense. “Looks like he remembers you.”
You fought the claw of unconsciousness raking over every part of you. Choking, straining against your hand pathetically covering your mouth.
“Since you did me a favor back then, I’m going to give you one chance to make it up to me.” The mask muffled his voice, but the wickedness screamed, rattling your veins. “You can either choose to stay here and burn with the rest of Berk or…” he lifted a hand, hardly an invitation, but a devilish bargain. “You can choose me.”
In the thick of your pounding head and chest, you considered burning to death was the wiser option of the two. All that he was—what he’d inevitably become—held no promise of a life worth degrading yourself for. Nothing about you would be spared. And it wouldn’t be long till you dropped on hands and knees, begging for him to take your life. To end his drawn out game of torture. One he’d carefully crafted for years and years.
Just for you, only for you.
Still, you clung to life. A measly mortal thread. Your shaking hand lifted, painfully reaching for his fingertips. One step forward, and the world spun in wisps of red and black. Your lungs and heart throbbed, practically seizing. A calculated arm caught you, cradling you wholly, close as any lover would.
“Good choice.”
You heard the waning words of approval, and through the fading light of your vision, something fastened over your face. Your last conscious breath had been clean, airy—a pleasant contrast to the toxic fumes.
Then, nothing.

hey I just recently found your blog while scrolling through tags and I’m so in love with all your ocs (especially Yubin and mind reader’s guy) I love reading your works :) sometimes I even reread them cause they’re just so *chefs kiss*
So far, I’m really looking forward to the mind reader since there’s so much tension and it’s just such a neat idea. Just imagine if the two got paired up for a group/partner project the poor guy is going to lose his mind while the mind reader gets front row tickets to it
(not necessarily a request but you’re free to write about it if you want to!! I just wanted to mention the idea since I’ve been thinking about it a lot ever since I read about the two)
Aw thanks so much! Glad you like them, your idea is really good, I had to use it! As usual, bottom male reader. Based on this post.. added more characterization
Xavier Young.. that was the name of the pervert plaguing your thoughts. Just like right now, while you desperately tried to pay attention to the girl in front of you—talking about what part you’ll have for the group project..
But there’s just this nagging sound filling your head. Xavier.. thinking about fucking you.. again.
It was even worse this time. At the table, he sat directly across from you, practically staring you down.
‘Ah… he’s so cute. Wish he’d look at me instead of her..’
You made sure to never glance his way.
‘He was blessed with such pouty lips… shit, I wanna bite them’
You pursed your lips heavily so it was just a thin line.
‘I’ve never seen him in a short sleeved shirt.. or shorts for that matter.. shit, why’s that hotter than him just showing himself off?’
You contemplated taking off your jacket but decided you just weren’t comfortable enough to do that. Oh well, you’d just let him have that perverse thought.
“So… (Name) and Xavier can take the pictures...”
“Excuse me?”
And here you were, forced to walk around the university taking pictures with just Xavier. Standing beside him, he was tall.. he practically dwarfed you. Briefly, you thought about seeing just how much size he had compared to you.
And it seemed Xavier was thinking the same thing.. although obviously, dirtier. Much to your dismay, his thoughts were filled with fucking you in the library (gross!).
“You’re so small… this bump in your belly is from me, yeah?” His inner self said, tracing his.. much larger hand across your stomach, lightly pressing down on the obvious bump from his cock.
You wanted to kill yourself. And the fact that you.. kinda.. sorta.. wanted to know if that would actually happen if he were to fuck you.. hey, it’s just curiosity!
You tried to push his perverse thoughts away and filled your head with your own thoughts.. though they kept going back to wondering if.. everything about him was big.
Though in your head, you knew he probably just liked you for sex. Nothing more. All of his thoughts on you have been about sex—you felt a little disappointed at that but brushed it off. At least someone thought you were sexy.
You bent down for a moment to take a picture of a group of squirrels when you heard the sound of the camera going off. You looked up and Xavier was looking away with a sheepish grin on his lips.
Did he.. take a picture of you? You shook your head. No way… you pushed the thoughts away and continued taking any picture that you could from the constantly moving animals when out of the corner of your eyes, you saw Xavier take a few pictures of you before turning around to take pictures of the nearby lake.
Holy shit.. he did! You moved a bit closer, wanting to see what he was thinking when he took those photos. But he wasn’t thinking. He was totally blank. It took a moment before he thought about anything.
‘I’m so fucking hungry… hope (Name) won’t mind if we take a break..’
Sure enough, Xavier asked if you guys could get something to eat. Soon you found yourself sitting across from him as he ate his cafeteria pizza
It looked fucking disgusting.
‘This is nasty… but I’m so hungry.’
You couldn’t help your snicker from his thoughts. Xavier looked up at you and raised an eyebrow, wondering what was so funny about him eating pizza.
It was mainly silent for the rest of time. You listened randomly to other people’s thoughts as Xavier’s seemed to just be about how nasty his pizza was.
“You dating anyone?”
“Huh?”
You look over at Xavier as he wipes his mouth clean with the back of his hand.
“Dating?”
“Uh… no. Why?”
Xavier only grinned and looked at camera, checking his photos that he took. That was the end of it but you could hear his thoughts.
‘Hm, he’s cute but I could’ve taken better ones.. ah, can’t wait to take nudes photos of him.’
You choked for a second, coughing heavily in shock. Xavier handed you his water and lightly patted your back.
‘Damn. He coughs a lot… would he cough like that if he deep throats my cock..?’
Well, his dirty thoughts were back. But you still really wondered, why the hell did he like you?
Your head was suddenly being filled with Xavier’s thoughts again. Mainly sex, of course. He seemed to really love sex in semi public areas.
In a weird idea, you listened to his fantasy closer, wanting to see how far he would go.
And.. it’s pretty far. Spanking seemed to be a favorite, judging by how he kept dreaming about spanking your ass. His hand wrapped around your throat, squeezing it lightly to earn your little whimpers.
But, something new was a dream in what you could only assume was his bedroom. He was doing something on his computer, playing a game maybe. But you were there on his lap but not in a normal way. You were sitting on one of his legs, his muscular leg, mind you.
You were rutting your clothed cock on it, maybe chasing your own release by how loud your whines were. But he wasn’t paying you any mind. He was just playing his game. A few times, he’d look at you and look as if he’d touch your aching cock but then just go back to his game.
It was like you were using him but even then he was in control.
And you liked that. Even though it was just a dream, you felt your real cock twitch in your jeans. Fuck, another boner.
“Liked it?” Xavier suddenly asked.
You looked up at him in shock, noticing just how close he was to you now. You parted your lips to ask what the hell he was talking about when he shamelessly pressed his hand against your growing boner, earning a gasp from you.
You couldn’t even control yourself as you bit your lip tightly to muffle your moans. Xavier’s hand so easily engulfed your cock, teasing it slowly. It was like he was trying to wake it up even more.. and you could only think about someone accidentally seeing this and the fact you wanted him to continue.
He leaned down and pressed his lips close your ears, to make sure only you heard what he had to say.
“I said… did you like it? It was really hard to think of a dream you’d like.. but I’m glad you like me being in control. It’s certainly my favorite.”
Mother fucker… he… he knows you could read his mind?!
Just who the fuck was this guy?
Heheh~ how was that? I wasn’t sure if i should go through with it but i think i like this turn of events. Sorry if this wasn’t as smut heavy, don’t worry, the next part will be 🤭

studying with a sleepy akaashi and him pulling moves on you (they're working)
it was another simple cold day, november settling in and bringing with it a chill that was quick to freeze your fingertips and tickle your nostrils. deadlines never seemed to stop piling but at least you had someone to motivate you, also a victim of the same craft.
there he was already settled into the booth, his muscular arms folded, his shoulder sagging as his head bobbed, his glasses settled low on his nose.
you were a little too quick to snap a photo, hurrying in to surprise him.
"keiji? hey wake up." you lightly shook his shoulders. he squinted at you, quick to shift upright and readjust himself, a long yawn erupting his mouth, his stretching flexing the shirt around his chest.
"did you get any sleep last night?" he paused, another yawn escaping before he could get out a word. "No, my roomates were up late playing this new game that came out. I couldn't sleep with all the yelling."
You hovered around in concern. "Should we study later so you can take a nap or next time?"
"Nono, this is the best time for us because we're both free today. We should try to power through" he mustered a sleepy smile and you settled in across from him. It was true, with how much classes, random labs and tutorials this was unfortunately the best day for you guys to coordinate.
Sleepy akaashi was charming to say the least. The errors he made where he normally would be perfect followed by a perplexed "hmm...that isn't quite right?" or disappointed, "hm? this one is wrong too? i'm sorry (name)."
seeing him fight the fatigue, taking small sips of his coffee, a distressed palm raking through his hair. "Let me sit beside you so I can show you the right way." "would you please?" the apologetic pull of his lips downward. what a cutie.
and so you worked through the problems, filling in each others blanks, hearing your voice beside him helped him reorient himself.
with his chin settled into his palm he watched as you explained the concept, gaining more confidence in how much you thought you knew about it. before he knew it he was reachign out, catching wisps that were going to get into your eye behind your ear. you pause, staring incredulously. "you were saying?" his tone, a little too smug for your liking.
"nothing." you say indignantly, your eyes following the hands still perched around the area of your face, leafing through the hair by your ears. "what are you doing."
he brings his face closer, pretending to inspect the side of your face, his face dangerously your own. "making sure I do a good job." he whispers into your ear.
something isn't right about him. the huskiness of his voice. the teasing grin, how'd he go from adorable to something that would eat you up. was it because he was tired that he was less careful and nervous than usual?
in fact... something hasn't been quite right for a while now. the prolonged staring he'd do when you guys were studying, the reaching across from you, and sitting very close to you. all the details he remembered. he always responds why wouldn't he but never brings up that he does it to anyone else. you thought back to the previous conversations and how akaashi tried to seem not as interested as he actually was when you guys would have group discussions about love.
your more than familiar now with his shy smile, the fidgeting with his fingers, and unyielding stare whenever he wanted to know or talk about something dear to his heart in a way everyone would not misunderstand.
maybe the teasing from your friends weren't for nothing. maybe he was trying to tell you this whole time.
"oh right, I have something to show you." he turns away, reaching into his bag and your filled with anticipation he slips something into his hands.
"your hand please." he extends his palm to which you nervously press against his. he intertines his fingers through yours, the glow of his smile and face radiating warmth as he pulls something from his wrist onto yours.
you gasp. you had lost your staple bracelet that matched your rings and earrings a week ago and you didn't realize how atattched you were to it until you trashed your room searching for it.
"oh my god, keiji!!! you remembered!! oh my god stop, this is so sweet thank you!" he seems quite proud of himself as you continued to pour with thank yous, and your the best. he assures you as always that he'll always remember the words of those dear to him.
he squeezes your hand in his and you squeeze back so excited to have it back in your collection. "that was super neat, the way you got it from your wrist to mine. that was a little too smooth to not be practiced." did he have another girl or guy you didn't know about?
"you think so?" he raises a brow. "my roomate was bragging about it the other day so i thought I'd give it a go?" the confidence and teasing tone to his voice was so attractive.
"and you thought of me?" "I don't know anyone better." his other hand grazes your face again, sweeping away what you know is no more than a singular strand of hair. "you couldv'e just handed me it."
"well if I'm being fully honest..." he tilts his head, in the silly way he's seen his teamates do when begging him to do something for them. "I also really wanted to hold your hand." he smiled shyly and then he did that thing he always did, where he stared at you really hard and it finally clicked in your mind. he was checking your reaction to see if you were okay with the touch.
for permission.
oh my god, he was enforcing the boundaries you didn't set because he wanted to make sure you were okay with his approaches. all the moments between you guys that made your heart race were intentional.
you place the hand lingering by your face to cup your cheek as you lean in. theres no faster way for you to get out all of your emotions and thoughts then a kiss. his chair tilts back and his hands wrap around your waist to steady you guys. its a quick smooch, given you guys are in a public setting but more than enough.
"I think we're due another discussion about our feelings...somewhere quiet?" "yeah." you mumble, twin grins on your faces as you pack up your stuff, almost rushing out of the cafe having paid your bill earlier.
if there was anyone safe enough for you to entrust your heart to it would always be him.
(this is part of a longer fic, also posted today)

Kento sat sandwiched between a window and Suguru, while Yuki sat next to Suguru, with you facing him. It was an awkward position, and you protested the entire time.
But Yuki basically shoved you on that side and sat herself down beside Suguru as if Kento needed some protection from you.
Still, as you sat eating a deli sandwich, Kento ate his food. His expression was blank and controlled as if he hadn’t confessed to being interested in you.
It felt as though you were in high school once again. A rush of heat met your cheeks, and even though it didn’t show, you could already feel Yuki’s judgmental stare on you as you fought a smile that crept its way to your face.
“So, Y/N,” Yuki started suspiciously
Oh no, you thought
“How’s the dating scene going?” A slight smirk was present.
“I don’t think this is an appropriate question to ask during work hours, Yuki.”
“Oh please, We grew up together! Suguru and Kento have seen it all from me during University.”
Yuki leaned in, waiting for your answer.
"So invested in others' private lives, I must ask Yuki, how exactly is his name again?? Kamo?? Kano Chosa?" Kento came to your rescue, or more so his rescue, if completely honest. Fear of you exposing him to the others rose within him; even if he didn't think you were the type of person to do so, it did not worry him any less. The last time he trusted someone with his romantic feelings, he was left abandoned in a hotel, naked and alone.
"Choso," Yuki said plainly with a venom-filled smile as she did so. "See, unlike some people, I am not afraid to be open with one's friends, nor am I unable to control myself when temptations arise."
"Is this going somewhere, Yuki?" You asked, tilting your head at her as though you cared for what she had to say.
Oh, you are so going to kill her when you get home tonight.
"Choso and I are going steady! We haven't had sex yet, but we did do some fun oral stuff." Nanami choked on his water at that, which earned a chuckle from Suguru, whose eyes seemed laser-focused on his phone.
"Is oral stuff not sex?" You asked, more curious than annoyed now,
"Of course not." Yuki rolled her eyes,
"Now, what brought this random question on, Yuki?" Suguru asked, swirling his water bottle as he finally put his phone down.
"Nothing; I am just curious. You and Toru have this weird unspoken hookup thing but never actually commit, so I have nothing to ask of you. Unless you have decided to finally be a man and ask him out, there is nothing to ask of you. We all know that Kento doesn't date, so the only one left is Y/N."
“I am so sorry to disappoint you, but there is nothing to tell.”
“You guys should have heard the college stories Y/N told me over late-night phone calls. Wilder and wilder with each phone call.”
“Oh, please. I’ve cleaned up the act.”
“I find that hard to believe, but okay.”
You only playfully rolled her eyes at this, satisfied with Yuki dropping the interrogation,
“Okay, I need to pee.” Yuki shuffled her way out of the booth before heading to the restroom, which was inconveniently upstairs. Once she was gone, a soft chime of Suguru’s phone rang, calling him to attention, he stepped out with a small mutter, something along the lines of a smoke break.
Leaving you alone with him.
“So you were a party girl?” Kento broke the silence between the two of you.
“Yeah, I guess so.”
“You don’t seem like the party type.”
“Looks can be deceiving.” You responded a little too sharply, sighing before continuing, “I was a very repressed and sheltered kid, so when I went to university, it was like everything and nothing at the same time. I was free to do what I wanted but didn’t know what to want. I made so many bad and embarrassing memories, from throwing up on my crush’s shoes to falling off of bar tables because I didn’t know what control was. And the many nights spent with strangers, I don’t regret at all. Even the awkward and embarrassing ones.”
“Do you regret losing it in university?”
“Surprisingly, no. I don’t regret any decisions, not the parties I attended or the men and occasional women I had fallen into bed with. They all helped me figure out what I enjoy,” Your eyes flicked to his lips, “and what I want.” your eyes flickered back up to Kento’s eyes, “I wouldn’t have minded waiting either. I think we as a society put way too much importance on virginity, so I never really thought of it as losing something or gaining a badge of honor. I saw my virginity as just a thing that happens. I am not a dramatically different person because I had sex, nor would I be if I hadn’t.”
“Oh.”
“You aren’t a man, or do you have many words?” You giggled at him, making him blush at your happiness.
“Let’s go on a date.” He said with a black face.
“What?”
“The bathroom was nice, but why on earth did I have to climb a thousand and one stairs to get there.” Yuki came back, sliding herself right next to Kento, but you didn’t even process what she said. The only words you heard were Kento’s, as they repeated in your ears repeatedly.
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Y/N?” Yuki called your name.
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Let’s go on a date.”
“Yes.” You said to Yuki, but indeed, it was directed at Kento,
“Yes.” You repeated as you fought a beaming smile that desperately wished to be worn on your face.

Another tragedy in your pitiful collection of plays
Interview with the Vampire characters x gn reader
Summary: you witness the tragedy that happened that day in the Theatre des vampires and tell your side of story to Molloy…(s2e7)
-> This one is pure angst and rage, I am open to any criticism (be nice pls) and I hope you like it :)
I just wanted to say that I am not the owner of this show, but I did make this story, so don't copy it without my knowledge, thank you.
I've never been so scared. As if the whole world pressed against me, its weight crushing my chest, squeezing my heart. As if I was suffocating, my lungs empty, squeezing my windpipe. One look at the stage and my heart threatened to burst, yet I couldn't tear my eyes from their faces. Madeleine's blank gaze, her pale skin covered in blood darker than her lipstick. Claudia's resigned sneer, her mouth open, always ready to defend herself. Louis' furrowed brows, one eye slightly swollen. The smell of blood everywhere. Just another batch of strawberry syrup with dye for the people watching, even for me in other situations, but today it was the blood of my friends. Reeking of metal and bitterness, flowing straight from their hearts, poured onto the floor from their mutilated heels.
I could not hear what they were saying. What made Claudia stand up and gasp with pain, what made Luis fall to the ground. No pre-written words from Santiago, no laughter from the people, no retelling of Lestat's life, no music. My head was silent, only Armand's whispering, a voice that was familiar, a voice that lulled me to sleep. His powers that immobilized my body, his pity, his reassurances. My mind was clouded. Inside I was aware of what was happening, the fear and disgust, I wanted to scream, wanted to get out. But Armand did not. I could feel tears streaming down my face, but not my muscles… Then all the whispering stopped.
"Banishment!" The crowd shouted in unison, in unprecedented desperation. The sound broke my hypnosis. What happened? I scanned the audience carefully, glancing at the man next to me. He sat behind the bars, giving the impression of a prisoner, but I knew very well that the only one holding him captive was himself. His inner self-degradation, his way of avoiding guilt. Why did Armand let me loose? What took his attention that even his love could not keep? Was it an unpredictable course of the play? Did the audience disappoint him? He didn't move a hair, his eyes didn't flicker, his hands didn't clench. Still, someone had manipulated the crowd. If it wasn't him, then who? Lestat's ear was bleeding, his hand was shaking, and his eyes were red. It was him. Lestat. Armand wanted Luis dead.
"Is this what you wanted? Another tragedy in your pitiful collection of plays? Another reminder of your endless suffering?" I finally regained my voice and snapped at him, my hand gripping his arm.
I've never been so mad. As if the whole world was laughing, its ignorance signing the death penalty for these three vampires, the audience enjoying the show. As if they wore sunglasses while their skin burned. No, I was not mad at those fools in those seats, I was mad at the fool in my coupé, in a cage he designed himself. Watching a play he wrote himself.
"Louis!" Claudia yelled, clutching his shirt in despair, though there was nothing she could do to prevent it.
"You can still end it. This time you can say No", I begged Armand, I always begged. He just shook his head. "Not to the laws," he whispered. Luis's screams filled the backstage until it ceased altogether, stifled by the doors.
"Is this a revenge on Lestat? Is this a way to regain the power over your coven? Is this revenge on your coven?" I took a breath "This is not the way! For once, do not let others trample over you, swallow your wounded pride and let it go. This plan of yours will hurt all of us, not just them! This is a mistake!" my voice wavered, I was desperate. Out of the corner of my eye, Santiago was talking to the humans, warning them. So did I, warning Armand, pleading with him, threatening him.
"Stop," his cold tone pinned me to the ground again, literally.
"Let them live," I cried, unable to move.
"They broke the law, they committed a crime. You are being irrational" he looked into my eyes.
I knew they were criminals, but more importantly, they were my friends, two girls doomed from the moment they were born. If anyone deserved to live, it was these two.
"They don't deserve this, please!" The burgundy tears fell from my cheeks onto my white blouse, forever testifying my misery.
"'There's nothing I can do," he shrugged and turned towards the performance.
"Coward."
He did not react. The stage fell silent, all the actors retreating, pushing the two vampiresses forward, holding onto each other till their last breath. I do not know what their last words were, it belonged only to their ears.
The dark curtain began to draw . Claudia looked up for the last time, meeting my gaze and smiling. "I'm so sorry, Claudia," I sniffled, not accepting what was about to happen. "It's okay," I heard in my head, her voice rough but sweet. "'s not your fault." I choked on a sob. She was like Joan of Arc, ready to die, knowing she was right, knowing they had misjudged her, yet she did not give up on her ethics, kind till the end. She stopped smiling and glared at the whole room. "Follow the bouncing ball!" she mocked them, gently embracing Madeleine.
When the sun's rays hit them, Claudia shielded Madeleine with her body, but the newborn vampire did not know daylight, did not know the pain of a sunburn, because Claudia loved her, she never let her suffer like Louis and Lestat had let her. With a shriek, she fell to her knees, the ash from her body swirling through the air. Claudia's singing led Madeleine out of this world, and then herself.
I've never felt such pain. As if the whole world ended, the lights went out, the music stopped. As if my heart had turned to stone, fallen out of my body, shattered into a million pieces. But the world didn't end, only their lives. The lights didn't go out, only their eyes, the music didn't stop, only their screams. They turned to dust, the dust we'll all turn to one day, human or not.
I dropped on my hands and knees, nothing holding me down, but I stayed there anyway. My choked cries, muffled by the vampires watching, turned to wheezes and wheezes turned to screams. I had never screamed that loud before, not on stage, not as a human, never. It was so loud my eardrums were bursting, I could feel my own blood on my tongue and my vision darkened. I heard the cracking of glass, the clattering of shards as they scattered across the floor, all the glass in the hall shattered. That was the power of vampires. I hope Claudia saw it somewhere, and I hope I made everyone in the hall deaf. The last thing they would hear would be a cry of pain, haunting their conscience.
The people fell silent, waited, and then began clapping. They applauded death, they applauded violence, they applauded Armand's writing. How humorous. He frowned at me.
"Are you all right?" He asked.
No, I wasn't all right. I wanted to gouge out his doe eyes, break every bone in his body, make him suffer, but I still cared about him.
"How can you even ask?!" I growled at him, waving my hand at him. My fingernails left scars, sure, they would heal, but my words won't. "I hate you! You should have stayed a slave, not ruining people's lives!" I didn't mean that, did I? I don't know. I do know that Armand took it seriously.
"That's enough." He grabbed my hand and then I didn't feel a thing. He shut me down, just like in the restaurant.
“Thats how it happened mister Molloy” I sat in a cafe with the interviewer.
“And tell me, how did you know he directed the play?” he asked, recording my voice again.
"In the café. He stood up and headed for another drink, but ended up at the door, I think. I found it odd, so I followed him. Followed his gaze as Santiago entered." I glanced down at my hands, mindlessly fiddling with Claudia's green necklace.
"They took my friends by force and covered their heads with sacks. They were shouting, I was shouting too. I demanded an explanation from Armand, to stop the madness. Instead, he embraced me, pulled me close, and told me to stop fighting. That he was saving us, saving himself. I asked...and I remember it like it was yesterday:'So you've chosen...you've chosen to suffer again?' and he said, 'Yes'. He said he wrote a play that would make everything right again."
“He didn't lie to you about the play? He never told Luis, you know?” Molloy asked
"Honestly, I don't know. I think he always saw himself as my brother, he knew that I could not leave to live on my own. That I would stay by his side. That I would always forgive him" I smiled a little
“Did you?” he smirked
“No, not this time. I do think he can be redeemed, but never forgiven, not by me.” I looked into Molloy’s eyes. “So, if you see him again, tell him to find me, it's been 70 years and we have stuff to discuss”

ORPHIC
𓆩ᥫ᭡𓆪 when Bakugou is paired with a girl that’s not spared a glance for a project, he wants to explode. Why does his mind keep going blank when he looks at you then?
Contains: g/n reader, profanity, midoriya trying to be ur friend 😭. if I forgot anything, tell me please ❤️
a/n: oml 2.3k words. doesn’t seem like much but this is actually my longest fic and im debating a pt 2.. btw, send requests please! 💕
PART TWO
Monotone. Dead. Bored. Creepy?
When Bakugou thought of you, he thought these four words exactly. Unable to even recall the last time you smiled, laughed, or even spoke really.
Not like he found any interest in you. He didn’t think of you on the daily, which is why he let out a groan at the announcement from Aizawa, saying you two would be paired for a research project on each other's quirks.
Which means you two are required to talk. Adding onto that, today was the only day you could work in class since there was no time or reason to put project hours into valuable class time.
“You have 10 minutes before the next bell. Go meet up with your partners, and no, I am not switching anyone.” Aizawa grumbled in his constantly tired state, slumping down in his sleeping bag and knocking himself out.
Bakugou huffed as he spotted Kirishima and Kaminari throwing a thumbs-up his way, smiling and winking at him. He was already thinking of how to kill them but set it aside as he made his way over to you.
Uninterested is an understatement. All you did was stare at your notebook with your head resting on your palm. Occasional sighs came out if anyone was lucky that day.
Bakugou took the seat in front of you and faced you in his chair. “L/n, are you dead or something?” Fury built up inside of his head as you didn’t even spare him a glance.
He slammed his palm against the desk, and you flinched at the sound, finally looking straight at him. Of course, it filled his ego in the slightest when he scared someone. “Meet me at my dorm at 5:30. Don’t be late, extra. I’ll tell Aizawa you’re slacking if you even dare giving me extra crap.” He grunted.
“Ehh.. mkay.. I guess.” You muttered. Your eyes turned away from him and looked out the window as if you just wanted to get this over with. It wasn’t necessary to look at Bakugou anyway, you could feel the wrath coming from him. Did I just make him more mad?.. What did I say? You pondered as you avoided his hellish and terrifying gaze to say the least.
Bakugou scoffed before he could get to screaming at you for no reason. He stood with his hands in his ridiculously baggy pants and sulked away as you sighed and thanked your guardian angel.
Unfortunately, 5 came faster than you had thought. You wanted to cry as you put your face in your pillows, really not wanting to deal with someone like him.
He was unfit for you. You distanced yourself from everyone for a reason, there’s too much noise, unnecessary excitement, and a waste of your time. These were the things you thought to justify your actions.
The truth was, you wouldn’t be lonely if you chose to. The most insistent ones were Mina and Hagakure, a friendship that you believed the devil brewed up in hell just so they could annoy the absolute shit out of you.
They did seem truly disappointed when you continuously declined their advances.
I guess I do feel a little bad..
The clock hit 5:24, and you groaned as you sat up in bed to grab your laptop and notebook, stuffing it in your bag. You let out a strained sigh and made your way to his dormitory.
You hesitantly raised your fist up to the door, quickly knocking and awaiting a response.
Is he not here? you stared at the door, a bored expression on your face although you wanted to rip all your hair out at what was lying on the other side.
“Door’s open.” A raspy voice came from within. The handle turned and you were met with Bakugou and his materials to get the project done sprawled out on the bed. You felt like a lost puppy.
“Are you gonna stand there or work on this?”
“Sorry.” You mumbled as you took skittish steps toward his bed. You carefully moved a few things out of the way and put your back against the wall, and took your laptop and notebook out. You nearly died when you forgot your pencil and came to the conclusion that you’d have to ask for one.
It’s just a pencil.. I’m fine, right? Oh god.. I’m gonna jump out the window. You sprawled deeper into your demise. A voice snaps you out of it and you realize sweat is forming on your hairline. “I already added you to the slides. You’ll do the bottom half and I’ll do the first including the introduction. Got it, extra?”
“Sure..” You gulped, taking a deep breath. He wouldn’t get mad at you for just a silly pencil, right? Surely that’s ridiculous.
“By the way, do you have an extra pencil? I kinda forgot mine just cause—” You felt something hit you right in the forehead, thankfully on the eraser side. “Are you kidding? Can’t even bring a pencil. I’m failing this for sure.” He growled, a hint of malice in his tone as he glared at you.
“It’s just a pencil.. relax.” You shot back at him.
“Don’t tell mE TO RELAX!!”
“Oh my god, you’re turning red from how angry you are.” You snickered. Why are you entertaining this? “I know practically enough about your quirk, so I’m clear for my slides. No help needed.”
“Hah? How? I’ve never spoken to you a day in my life.” He asked. A bead of sweat glided across your cheek as that was one of the worst questions he could’ve asked.
What actually happened was that you had asked Midoriya for his notes on Bakugou. Truthfully, you thought you had said, “Hey Midoriya, can I see your notes on Bakugou?” but you assumed that Midoriya must have thought you were going to stab him to death if he didn’t give you what you wanted, due to how monotone and serious your tone and voice was.
You debated between saying Midoriya or no reason at all. If you went with the second option, he would probably think you're a stalker. You cared about your reputation even if you didn’t have many people around.. which made people assume things about you without anyone telling them what was true or not.
“Don’t get mad because I know he’s your absolute nemesis. Midoriya gave me his notes on your quirk and how it works.” You muttered out, a little stammer in your voice as you realized Bakugou was giving you an, “I’m going to kill you and that damn nerd” look.
Your eyes wandered away from his as he tried to keep his cool when he realized he was staring a little and observing you.
You did have emotions and weren’t a robot. In fact, you were kind of charming. You were expressive when you spoke to someone too. He blinked out of his trance when he saw you take your notebook and open it to underline the most important details about his quirk.
“Are you gonna explain your quirk to me or not?” He growled, trying to forget the fact he was just crushing on you for a moment.
You fought back a dramatic sigh “Right..”
You stretched your back and cracked your knuckles as you came to a realization.
What time even is it?
You look down to the corner of the screen. 7:42 PM. Good enough. I’m not surprised we haven’t talked for 2 hours despite the fact we’re sitting next to each other.. You close your laptop and it seems to bring Bakugou’s attention to yourself.
“What’re you doing? There’s still more work to be done, extra!” He hissed, a deadly look sent your way. “I’m.. leaving? We’ve been at work for over 2 hours straight.”
“And?” Bakugou toned down a little suddenly. Wait, why the hell am I trying to get this random to stay? He thought.
“And I just so happen to have the desire to leave, so bye.” She quickly got up and closed the door while leaving before he could protest further.
A sigh of relief left your lips upon being free from his room. God, talk about being nervous. You walked back to your room, set your bag aside, and flopped face-first on your bed.
You rolled over and could feel sleep creeping upon you, and you accepted it although you realized you hadn’t changed into your pajamas. Oh well, tomorrow was the weekend anyway.
The sun rose and you could hear the birds singing a familiar tune, as they did every morning. Light peeked through your drapes as you let out a tired groan. You could hear the chatter of your classmates downstairs. A yawn left your lips as you sat up to stretch your back.
Deciding between passing out again or showering and starting your somewhat lazy day, you choose to freshen up and wear pajamas for your day. You wanted to finish the project quickly so you could have the rest of the day to not worry about due dates or grades, so you decided to tinkle your slides a bit on your own time.
You also worried about Bakugou’s aggression and malice while drying your hair some more. “Wonder who put a stick up his ass.” You chuckled to yourself as you applied your skincare.
Your classmates didn’t seem to spare you much of a glance when you walked into the kitchen, as per usual. You did want it this way, right? Even if it hurts you a little when you realize they were spending time together. Even if it hurts when you realize they made breakfast for everyone.
Bakugou, Asui, and Koda weren’t downstairs but you had seen leftovers for them on the counter with their names on it.
You did not find yours, and when you realized a bit of embarrassment dared to show on your face. As you were sulking off to spend your day in your dorm, bored, you felt a tap on your shoulder.
“L/n?”
You turned around and were met with Midoriya's face as he held a plate of food. Wonder what he needs me for. “Yeah..?”
“I saw when you were coming down since you came a little after I did, and the class left me some of the food but I wasn’t really hungry and didn’t see any out for you so.. are you uh.. hungry perhaps?” Midoriya stammered out with a small smile. You had the tiniest smile on your face.
“Sure I am. Thank you.” You chimed. You never would’ve thought Midoriya was paying attention. But, that’s what he did right? He paid attention to every little detail. What you and Midoriya had both failed to notice was when Bakugou came down to get food and was staring directly at you from where he stood with his friends.
He felt a hint of jealousy at the sight of Midoriya being able to get you to smile. A small hint of regret at not coming down earlier and being the one to offer food. But, Bakugou doesn’t do that nice crap. It’s a waste of time.. right? So…
Why did he start to get a desperate desire and drive to make you smile like that at him? To show any sort of emotion? And why is it that he wanted the specific emotion to be happiness?
Walls of anger dissipated when he looked at you. He was staring. Again. Have you always been this enchanting? You made him question his thoughts. No way he was falling for some extra who barely even had emotions.
He didn’t know if you were opposites or similar in some ways.
He snapped out of his trance once again, attempting to focus on the conversation his friends were practically begging for him to join. You started walking away a little while after having a little chat with Midoriya.
And boy, did he look really happy after he spoke to you. Bakugou has never felt more.. irritated. Midoriya was getting another thing that he wants. Another accomplishment and doing something Bakugou can’t dream of doing.
God, what was he saying? Why was his mind so hyper-focused on you?
Little did he know, you’d been sweating because you could feel his eyes practically burning your flesh away. You had to admit to yourself, you were growing to enjoy Midoriya's presence after that meeting.
He sighed and dismissed his friends as they groaned and Sero barked out a “Did you really think he cared?” as he left for his room.
Finally, upon his arrival, he closed the door behind him and sat on his bed, lost in his thoughts. He thought of how you would be in fact, meeting later today. A growl left him as he denied his emotions. Of course, he could never care for some extra who just so happens to be attractive and in the same class and just so happens to be similar to him in a way.
Of course not. A waste of time is all it is. He doesn’t have time for you.
Right?

LET ME IN — yu jimin
you return to your hometown after being overseas for years. there was no possible way for you to anticipate your old high school sweetheart waiting at the airport.
tags angst, fluff, exes to lovers, happy ending, high school sweetheart, cursing
wordcount 5.1k
the sweater that you had picked out today, feels unfamiliar on your skin. it’s the one which reads, ‘seniors of 2018’. it’s the one you had never gone near, leaving it to rot in your closet. it’s the one that holds the most painful memories for you. how could a piece of clothing cause you so much pain?
frankly, you know why. it’s the one jimin had given to you as you left for the train to the airport. “something to remember me by,” she had stated after pulling it over the top of your head.
you had huffed, playfully asking, “how could i ever forget you?”
your closet had witnessed your stares— or rather glares at the sweater. not until an hour had passed, when you finally heaved a sigh and grabbed it off the hanger that was situated at the corner of the closet. it’s just because it’s comfortable, you had reasoned before. and it didn’t matter what you wore underneath the puffer jacket, it would end up covered.
of course, these were all excuses, trying to deny the very fact that it just reminded you of jimin. and you were very welcoming towards such reminders.
reminders of what?
you shake your head, picturing a blank canvas before the melodic laughter filled your ears. jimin’s laugh.
the screeching of your luggage’s wheels distract you. aeri’s standing at the door, a hand on your suitcase.
“hey girl,” she checks the watch on her wrist, “we gotta go. flight’s at 2.”
you nod, ignoring the fact that you had spent almost two whole hours thinking about the repercussions of returning back to… home? could you even call it that?
aeri seems to notice your inner turmoil, since in the taxi, she places a comforting hand over yours, sending you a small smile. while it didn’t really settle your nerves, you appreciated the effort nonetheless.
the journey to the boarding gate is like a fever dream. your airpods betraying you, randomly shuffling to a girls’ generation song. it was like a cry back to the past, when you and jimin would listen to girls’ generation songs together.
for jimin, you had complied.
you open your eyes, you can only see the back of someone’s head above the aeroplane’s seat. if you keep your eyes closed for too long, you might start to envision a blur of jimin’s perfect eyes, her nose, her lips that were always pursed in disappointment when she caught you and minjeong stealing her snacks…
the realisation that you can’t remember the face that once made you the happiest girl on the planet hits hard. it hits harder than the guilt and misery you felt when jimin, a week after you had left korea, sent a flurry of messages that went unresponded.
“i didn’t know you liked girls’ generation,” aeri comments. startled, you stare at your phone, the lock screen wallpaper being jimin’s back displaying girls’ generation’s holiday night baseball t-shirt. the girl had forced you to buy matching ones with her, you recall bitterly.
“i don’t,” you answer coolly, swiftly turning off your phone. aeri eyes you weirdly but eventually lets you off the hook and leans back into her seat.
the rest of the thirteen hours flight, you busy yourself with work— leftovers from the time before break, drafts of sketches, thesis statements and long-winded essays. while a plane was not the best environment to finish a full drawing, you could at least make some rough sketches. somehow, your pencil graphite gravitates from sturdy, concrete buildings to soft cheekbones, hooded eyes, pouty lips.
shit, you blink, taking in your subconscious sketch of a woman, familiar to your past.
almost instantly shutting your sketchbook shut, you ignore the implications of what your mind was telling you. the crew neck sweater itches at your neck. it’s almost like the words embroidered on the cotton burn into your heart, to always make you remember and recall the time before messy relationships, longing feelings and just enjoying the present time.
time. you didn’t have much of it anyway.
maybe this trip would allow you to make peace with the past. you wouldn’t flinch whenever your friends would talk about league of legends champion, ‘katarina’, or you wouldn’t immediately decline movie night with aeri in fear that one of the actresses would look eerily similar to jimin.
allowing your brain to wander past your comfort zone, you wonder what she's doing now. was she a flight stewardess? did she manage to finally get better at pubg? was her favourite colour still blue? did she still have that sparkle in her eyes when food was brought up?
the last thought makes you chuckle, reminiscing how excited jimin was whenever food was involved. when yizhuo would bring back mala snacks from china, jimin would be gone in a flash.
(so would yizhuo’s snacks, you can’t count the number of times you were forced to lie about who the perpetrator was.
maybe it was worth it when jimin would beam at you, flashing a bright smile that rivalled the shine of diamonds).
with bittersweet memories, you drift off. sleepless nights made up for, by just giving yourself permission to think about her.
you dream of crashing waves, two people on the shore, just sitting down and gazing at the scenery. the sunset’s everlasting in this timeline. like time doesn’t exist and all they did was stare at the deep ocean.
before you even get to see their faces, the announcement rings throughout the flight.
you sigh deeply, catching the attention of aeri.
“you okay? you slept so soundly, i thought you died,” the japanese girl asks worriedly. you laugh, it was the best sleep you ever got, and it was on an aeroplane.
strange how our consciousness works.
“i’m good,” this time you weren’t lying.
you stare at the glass doors, wondering if minjeong had told anyone else to come fetch you. it wasn’t a far fetched thought, maybe the girl had asked yizhuo to come as well. the chinese girl would kill minjeong if she didn’t tell her about your arrival back in korea after what? three, almost four years?
“hey, i asked my friend to pick us up and she might have brought someone else,” you warn aeri.
“oh that’s fun… why do you sound so scared?”
“because, the other girl is a little overbearing,” you scoff, “she might try to climb you, just a warning.”
aeri widens her eyes as you two drag your luggage to the gates.
she gapes, “no kidding? is she a koala or something?”
“something like that,” you shrug.
the doors open. it’s your first step (not really) into korea. the air is the same anywhere else, but the feeling isn’t.
it’s the feeling of uncertainty. the feeling of fear. aeri clasps your free hand tightly in hers, sensing your hesitance.
your gaze glides over the crowd of people waiting for their own family. aeri makes a noise of recognition and she pulls you to the side, you finally spot someone familiar.
“minjeong…!” you call out, voice going silent at the sight of a girl that is most definitely not minjeong.
it’s not yizhuo either, that’s for sure.
“did minjeong get plastic surgery or something?”
you want to run.
“because… that’s not— that’s not minjeong,” you whisper, “that’s yu jimin.”
aeri deadpans, “you say that like i know who the hell she is.”
you want to kill minjeong. and maybe jimin wants to kill aeri with how hard she’s glaring at her.
jimin only trots slowly towards you.
jimin’s eyes dart from aeri’s face back to yours, her hard, cold gaze trailing down to your sweater that has come uncovered by the puffer jacket. your eyes narrow when she raises an eyebrow at you, as if asking you, “why are you wearing that?”
you don’t answer her, because you don’t know either.
“i’m jimin, y/n’s—”
“friend,” you interrupt, quickly turning away to avoid the flash of hurt on jimin’s face.
the mentioned girl recovers quickly, putting on a fake smile, “classmate of y/n from high school.”
“i’m uchinaga aeri, y/n’s roommate, thank you for picking us up!” aeri grins widely, ignoring the deadly lasers pointing her way.
“where are you staying, if i may ask?” jimin’s sharp tone doesn’t go unnoticed by you.
“with y/n—”
you cover aeri’s mouth, knowing how jimin gets, “it’s none of your business.”
your roommate makes a noise of indignation and licks a long strip across your palm. you groan, taking it off her mouth and wiping it on her jacket.
“that’s so gross,” you mutter in english.
“your english has gotten better,” jimin notes as the three of you walk to her car.
you don’t know what to say, so you stay silent.
“where do you stay, jimin-ssi?” aeri makes small talk to cover up the awkward silence. you thank her internally.
jimin stares at you through the mirror, “with y/n.”
you bite your lip, nervous at what jimin might say next. you had never told aeri about your complicated relationship with jimin and you didn’t plan to. only because of kim minjeong meddling in, now it seems like everything has to be uncovered again.
“she’s a bad roommate, right?” surprisingly, aeri ignores jimin’s statement and instead continues to complain about you.
you’re shocked, to say the least. you thought aeri would have started blabbing and asking probing questions about your past roommate situation. or maybe she noticed your sullen look.
“i thought four years would have been enough for her to change her bad habits,” jimin says.
you know for a fact she isn’t talking about the same thing as aeri. jimin was even worse than you as a roommate; eating your secret snack stash, never cleaning up the pile of laundry she had in her room and always invading your alone time in bed.
“many things have changed,” you mumble, “i’m not the same as before.”
the car goes silent, jimin probably analysing your words while aeri pouts, confused by the strange tension you had with your so-called friend.
“if you desire something enough, you’d want it to stay the same forever.”
you retort, “change is inevitable.”
aeri says quietly in the corner, “i know the guy who said that, his name is like john, or something.”
struggling to keep your laughter silent, you splutter in aghast at aeri’s sudden general knowledge.
“you’re so strange,” you comment.
aeri laughs, “i know, but you like me for that, right?”
(“—only had a brain the size of a walnut, that’s why the stegosaurus was one of the dumbest dinosaurs!” jimin reads out loud from your bed.
you stand at your vanity, finishing up your skincare, trying not to laugh at jimin’s absurd dinosaur facts, “you’re so weird.”
“you like that about me though?”)
you sense how intimate the conversation feels for the both of you, so you stop answering aeri and instead focus on jimin. her grip on the steering wheel has tightened significantly, eyes burning with something you can’t identify.
“you’re being annoying again, go to sleep or something, it’s a long drive from here to my house—” you halt in the middle of your sentence, finally questioning the very fact of… why?
why is yu jimin here? even if minjeong asked her to, why? the jimin you knew would never do this. the jimin you knew would never give up her sleeping time just to fetch an old friend, who she maybe had something going on with, and a stranger? yizhuo had friends from china who were visiting, and even then, jimin refused to fetch them from the airport. she was the only one in your friend group with a licence so it only made sense to ask her.
you try to bury yourself in the sweater even more. it was fine for now. seeing jimin in the flesh. but maybe you were so jet lagged that you hadn’t made sense of the situation yet.
the only sensible thing to do for now, was to let yourself escape into dreamland and wait for the morning after.
you can only anticipate it would be full of awkward silence, tension-filled gazes, hesitant actions.
it’s difficult to fall asleep. you decide to blame your insomnia on the nap you had during the flight. even when you know it’s because of the deeply asleep body, separated by a thin wall.
you’re sitting upright, staring at the unveiled moon. it’s stunning, not like the sun which literally glares. the moon is calming, easing you into the next day, all while making you feel… loneliness.
how could you feel lonely even with so many people around you?
(“do you think soulmates exist?” you had asked, curious of jimin’s take on such tales.
the girl seems taken aback, but she ultimately replies, “if they do, i think you’re mine.”)
you clench the duvet in your fists tightly, mind grasping at any other thought than of yu jimin. it’s unfortunate that you seem to enjoy the pain and torture past memories bring with how often your brain wanders through them.
maybe it’s time to come clean with yourself.
you were back in your hometown. you were staying in the same apartment as you did before you left. one that you shared with yu jimin; one that you called home.
eyes starting to become watery, you wipe them off and take a seat at your desk. if you were going to stay awake the rest of the night, might as well get work done. pulling out your sketchbook, the first page to be opened is the drawing of jimin from the flight. the realisation slaps you.
how long would it take someone to get over the love of their life?
for you, maybe eternity.
the door creaks open slightly. your head turns sharply, hand instinctively covering the drawing.
“y/n…?”
“jimin,” you inhale, “why are you still awake?”
she doesn’t bother to answer you and instead chooses to sit on your bed. once you notice the pyjamas she’s wearing, you feel daggers stab into your heart. it’s one of your many matching pyjamas with her. you hadn’t touched any of them since you left korea.
“are you dating aeri?” she asks.
you know what she’s secretly trying to ask.
“no, she’s just a friend.”
“that’s what they always say,” jimin scoffs. her tone doesn’t sit right with you.
with a sudden urge to defend your friendship with aeri, you shoot back, “i recall you saying that about lee jeno too.”
your words clearly strike a chord in jimin, her eyes widen, hurtful remarks at the tip of her tongue. yet, she merely looks away. you hate how beautiful she looks in the moonlight.
“y’know, technically we’re still dating.”
“what are you talking about?” you ask, bewildered.
jimin rolls her eyes, “we never explicitly broke up, you only ghosted me. technically we’re still together.”
“stop spouting nonsense.”
the girl only pouts in annoyance. you hate how your heartstrings tug at her cute expression. right now, yu jimin had to be anything but cute.
“and i didn’t ghost you, i was busy.” the lie slips out easily, revealing how used you are to saying it. jimin, of course, doesn’t believe you. she had never.
jimin frowns.
“you always say that too.”
she stands up, walking bit by bit closer to you. your hand grips the sketchbook protectively.
placing a hand onto the back of your chair, jimin smirks, leaning in. you hate how attractive she looks.
her now blonde locks form a curtain around your faces, preventing any outsider to peek in and see what you were doing.
“i think you’re a bad friend,” jimin claims.
“what?”
you can’t take your eyes off her fluttering eyelashes, her red nose, probably from the cold, and her eyes filled with determination.
“you lied to aeri,” she whispers, “since when were we ever just friends?”
a lump forms in your throat. your heart constricts. you can barely even say a word. you’re speechless.
“we’re barely even friends, roommates, probably,” you splutter out.
“yeah?”
“yeah.” jimin eyes you with an amused expression, lips twitching with the threat of a big, wide smile. you realise your words bid you no help, only further supplying as a challenge for jimin— for you to admit that you were more than friends. no words needed to be exchanged about that fact, but you being you, after fulfilling years of ghosting, would never admit that you harboured any sort of feelings for jimin after being the main reason why your relationship fell apart.
you would argue that your absence was just a contributing factor. the real trigger came in the form of lee jeno, a man that you could say with your whole heart and soul, you hated with every bone in your body.
after you had left, with a promise to stay in contact with jimin, you realised how hard it was to maintain your relationship status. and when jimin posted countless instagram stories of jeno, you realised again that maybe it was best to break it off.
never in the duration of your ‘ghosting stage’ had you ever told jimin the real reason for your sudden coldness. madly jealous and insecure, you decided to disappear. disappear just from jimin though.
“i’ve always been curious,” jimin pulls back from your intense gaze, “why you started being so distant, cold and indifferent. tell me, will you?”
“that’s just my personality.” a direct white lie, you decide to tell.
“i was heartbroken,” she ignores you and continues her monolouge, “my girlfriend decides to ghost me, and just me. made me think i did something wrong.”
you lick your lips, suddenly feeling your throat constrict up. no longer was this just banter, the conversation was steering into uncharted territory.
“it wasn’t just you,” you desperately argue, trying to direct the conversation away, “moving to another country isn’t easy.”
“you’re pretending our whole relationship didn’t exist. maybe in your eyes it meant nothing, but for me, it was everything. don’t you know every single day i have nightmares? the craziest thing is that all the demons in my nightmares have your smile,” jimin whispers fiercely, “and yet, i stay faithful to those nightmares, even if i wake up crying for someone who didn’t even bother answering my calls. you may have only been in the states, but it felt like you were on another planet. i was the last person to know you were coming back, even though you promised me; promised that if you were to return, i would be the first person to—”
you can’t control yourself. hearing her words makes your blood boil. the pumping of your heart only accelerates further as you lift up your hand, delivering a heavy slap across her face. how dare she? how dare she act as if everything was your fault? how could she accuse your devotion and adoration for her?
“don’t act like you’re the fucking victim, karina,” you hiss, your words even more painful than the stinging red on jimin’s cheek, “the first morning after, i sent you so many texts, barely even seen. then i see your story. were you acting when you said you were sad about me leaving? or were you happy to finally say that you don’t have a girlfriend anymore?”
jimin cradles her cheek in her hand, eyes narrowing when you finally confess the real reason. you can tell she doesn’t remember anything. her not even knowing what she did that made you feel unneeded only drives the blade deeper into your heart.
“drinking at a club with lee jeno,” you say his name with venom, voice gradually getting louder and louder. remembering that aeri’s only a few walls away, you try to control your emotions. “could you not understand how i felt— you said nothing would come between us and the first week away from home, constantly ignoring me for some guy.”
(“call me when your plane lands,” jimin said, playing with the hem of her sweater on you.
“isn’t it gonna be midnight in korea when i land?”
the girl merely chuckles, “i’ll be up all night just to hear your voice.”)
the realisation strikes you like a lightning bolt.
“this was a mistake.”
“what?”
“this… me coming back. i should have just stayed in the states but fuck, i let aeri convince me,” you run your fingers through your tousled hair, stressed. jimin was going to cause you to have white hair.
the redness on jimin’s cheek is still there. you feel slightly guilty for ruining her clear complexion.
“that was just how i coped with you leaving,” jimin explains.
you purse your lips, placing your open palms on jimin’s chest. maybe she thinks you’re about to cave in since she sighs in relief. however, instead of pulling her in, you push her until her back is touching your door.
“i don’t need an explanation, or an apology,” you say firmly, “i need time alone away from you.”
“you’ve had 4 years to yourself,” jimin states bitterly.
“i’m sorry for slapping you, but please, either show me your actions matching your words, or just get out of my life for good.”
jimin sighs again, this one full of exasperation.
“go,” you mutter under your breath.
the knife drives deep into your already ruined heart as you push her away. the girl scoffs, grasping your open palms into her hands, intertwining your fingers.
“if you insist on pushing me away, i’ll get rid of any possibility of us being together again. just let me into your heart again,” she throws your hands away and slams the door. the loud bang echoes in your ears, but not as loudly as her words. it only takes a few seconds for you to collapse onto the floor, sobs wrecking your whole body.
“morning,” aeri yawns, “i heard a loud bang last night, was that you or is your apartment haunted?”
you drizzle maple syrup onto your stacked pancakes, sending a bittersweet smile to your friend. your night was spent tossing and turning, both guilt and anger consuming you. when the clock ticked at four in the morning, you finally let yourself think about how jimin made you feel. even if she went to drink right after you left, you should have communicated with her instead of ghosting her. you knew for a fact that she was heartbroken based on the numerous texts your friends had sent you.
fuck, you groan into your pillow. getting up from your bed, your eyes roam the room, eventually landing on the sketchbook at your desk. you never finished that drawing on the plane. after considering (or more likely procrastination), you sit down, pouring your hours and feelings into your drawings. countless of them filled up the sketchbook’s pages. the drawings’ subjects all looked eerily similar to jimin. her pointed nose, soft gaze were all captured in the pages. you finally come to terms with it. you were still in love with her. after all, she was your only muse. thinking about her words from before, you knew that she meant them. spending years waiting for someone who was basically a ghost couldn’t have been easy.
you were going to do something about it.
barely getting any sleep last night, you woke up earlier than usual and decided to prepare breakfast. aeri had woken up an hour after, stomach growling and eyes gleaming at the pancakes.
“by the way,” she says, mouth full of pancake, “i’m meeting up with a friend today and she’s bringing someone too. wanna go with me on a double date?”
fate must be messing with you since right as aeri says the words ‘double date’, yu jimin walks in. her hair tousled, puffed cheeks and eyes narrowing. you stiffen, focusing on picking at your pancakes instead. unbeknownst to you, once jimin spots the lone plate of breakfast on the counter, her gaze softens.
“do you know who your friend’s bringing…?” you whisper softly, trying not to catch the attention of jimin.
aeri, although you love her, says in the loudest voice possible, “somi will be your date! i think she’s your type.”
the scraping of the metal fork makes you squeeze your eyes shut, mentally preparing for jimin’s outburst.
“so-mi,” jimin clicks her tongue.
aeri nods, stuffing her face with more food.
she turns to you, “and you’re going on a date with her?”
“double date with me,” aeri clarifies, “don’t worry jimin-ssi, i’ll be there to protect y/n! y’know in college i always had to pick y/n up from her bad dates. her taste in guys suck.”
“seems like her taste in girls has been downgraded,” jimin comments, smirking. you roll your eyes, wanting nothing more than for her to shut up. aeri guffaws, taking out her phone. “i’ll show you somi’s instagram account and you can decide for yourself, y/n,” she says.
you nod, deciding not to say anything in case jimin flares up. somi’s very pretty, anyone would agree. she had her own attractive style and seemed really confident. you liked that. aeri wasn’t wrong to say that somi was your type. it was just unfortunate that your heart was in the hands of another girl.
while scrolling on aeri’s phone, her alarm rings, reading, ‘brunch with yunny.’
“ah! yunjin wanted to meet earlier, just the two of us,” aeri smiles, “text me later if you wanna join!” she stands up from the table. you’re astonished by how fast she managed to finish those pancakes, her stack was evidently taller than yours. jimin glances at you, amazed as well.
“did she inhale those…?”
“i’ve got no fucking clue,” you mumble, digging into your own. jimin only chuckles and you hate how it makes your heart clench up in affection.
the silence is deafening. without aeri, the air thickens with tension between you and jimin, filled with nostalgia and regret. it feels just like last time— you and jimin eating breakfast together at that very same table, giggling about whatever trouble your friends got into the previous day.
“hey, about yesterday—”
“it’s fine,” you interrupt, “is your cheek okay?”
jimin swallows hard, “yes, it doesn’t hurt at all.”
“don’t lie, come here,” you instruct, “i’ve known you for so long, you can’t lie to me.”
she just laughs, showing you the slightly bruised side of her face. you feel guilt wreck you. no matter how angry you were, you shouldn’t have laid a hand on her.
“did you ice it?”
jimin shakes her head. you sigh, getting up and taking an ice pack out of the freezer. it’s too easy for you to return to past habits, moving around the kitchen like it was 2018 and jimin was the love of your life (she still is). wrapping the ice pack in a towel, you inch closer to jimin, holding it to her cheek. she winces slightly and you resist the urge to hold her hand in comfort.
“y/n…”
“hm?”
the girl seems so small now— her posture deflated, eyes barely meeting yours, biting her lip nervously. you have a feeling you know what she’s about to ask.
“are you going on that date with soyoung?” you laugh loudly, catching jimin off guard.
“jimin, her name’s somi.”
pouting, jimin turns away from you, making your hand falter. “hey, i need to ice your face.”
“i won’t let you unless you answer my question.” she’s so childish it’s adorable. the tension has gone, now filled with uncertainty instead.
“i don’t have anyone to spend the afternoon with. minjeong and yizhuo are busy today,” you explain.
“you have me,” she mutters.
ignoring her, you answer, “aeri seemed really excited for us to meet.”
“you spent all your time in the states with her, you should spend time with your friends here,” jimin retorts.
her hesitance to even admit she wants to spend time with you makes you want to tease her.
“oh? you’re right,” jimin perks up like a puppy. cute, you think. “i should text yujin if she wants to go out, remember her? she was our student council president.”
rolling her eyes, jimin swats at your hand nursing her bruise. it’s too easy for you to return to past habits, bantering with jimin like she was the only girl you’ve ever loved (she was).
it’s too easy. between the choice of going out with aeri to meet someone new and staying in with jimin. it’s such an easy choice to make.
you bring the ice pack away from her face, choosing to caress her cheek lovingly instead. she sighs, content, leaning into your touch.
“jimin,” you gulp, “i’m sorry for these past few years.”
her eyes gaze up at you, “it’s okay. i’ve come to terms with it. i honestly wasn’t expecting you to come back.”
“i wasn’t planning to either, but aeri wanted to.”
“good thing she convinced you, huh?” jimin smiles, “at least i know i was the reason for our break up.”
“it’s only a relationship if there are two people,” you say, “it was my fault too.”
her eyes momentarily flicker to your lips, it doesn’t go unnoticed by you.
“i know these years haven’t been easy on both of us, but if you’re willing to, i think i’m okay with giving us a second chance,” you confess, “even if you hurt me again, i still want you. i just want you. you’ve always been the only one in here.” you point at your heart.
jimin’s eyes shoot straight up, finally breaking into a wide smile, “seriously? even after what i said last night? i’m not complaining but like… you were pretty angry. i just wanted to know why you ghosted me and i agree, i deserved it. but why the sudden change?”
“i mean,” you shrug, “it was what you said that made me think about this. i didn’t want you to stop loving me, because i’ve never stopped loving you.”
“you love me?”
“i love you.”
“this is so crazy, you went from slapping me to…” she trails off, grasping your chin and bringing you into a kiss. her lips were so, so, soft. you wondered why you even let her go. once your lips met, you felt her sigh before smiling into your mouth. catching your breath, you run your fingers through her blonde hair.
“still going on that date with suki?”
“jimin, you know her name’s somi.”
“whatever, i love you too.”

Bad Liar | CL16
Pairing: Charles Leclerc x reader (her/she)
Author's note: I'm trying something a little bit different with shorter form fics, so please send through any requests or feedback. These one shots will likely not have a second part unless it really speaks to me to continue with it. Thank you!
Masterlist
Charles was the epitome of the romantic suitor, yet his approach was suffocating for her. Every gesture he made seemed to demand an audience, amplifying her discomfort with the spotlight. Take, for instance, the time he sent an extravagant bouquet of flowers to her office. While most would find such a display endearing, for her, it felt like an invasion of her privacy. The stares, the whispers, the constant attention—it was overwhelming. Charles seemed oblivious to her unease, his intentions pure but his execution misguided. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate the sentiment behind his gestures; rather, she craved intimacy without an audience, a connection that was genuine and private.
Despite her discomfort with the public nature of Charles's gestures, she couldn't deny the depth of his affection. His over-the-top displays were a testament to his adoration for her, and she recognized the sincerity behind each grand gesture. In those moments, she felt truly cherished, knowing that he was always thinking of her, even when they were apart. Despite their differences in how they expressed love, she cherished the fact that he made an effort to show his affection in his own extravagant way. It was a reminder of the deep connection they shared, even if it sometimes felt overwhelming. In his gestures, she found reassurance of his love and a reminder of how much she meant to him.
With their third anniversary looming, Charles found himself in uncharted territory. Typically the mastermind behind elaborate surprises, he now faced a blank canvas, unsure of how to make this milestone special for her. However, fate seemed to intervene in their favour as their anniversary coincided with the Monaco Grand Prix, offering a unique opportunity for celebration at home.
As their anniversary drew closer, she couldn't shake the feeling of anticipation, mingled with a hint of anxiety. Determined to uncover any hint of Charles's plans, she embarked on a covert mission throughout their apartment, scouring every nook and cranny for clues. Cupboards were meticulously searched, drawers were rifled through, and even his phone screen became a source of scrutiny, hoping to catch a glimpse of any secretive messages or plans.
Her quest for information didn't stop there. She reached out to their friends, subtly probing for any hints or insights into Charles's intentions for their anniversary. However, despite her efforts, she came up empty-handed. It seemed that Charles had managed to keep his plans under wraps, much to her frustration and curiosity.
With each passing day, her anticipation grew, fueled by the mystery surrounding their impending celebration. Despite her longing for a glimpse into Charles's plans, a part of her also relished the element of surprise, knowing that whatever he had in store would be worth the wait.
“Cha,” she called him from the bedroom.
“Yes, my love?” he responded, his voice filled with warmth as he walked into the room, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
“You know it's our anniversary this week,” she began, her tone tinged with a hint of anticipation.
“I do,” he nodded, his eyes meeting hers with affection. “Did you want to do something, maybe go for dinner somewhere nice?”
“So, you haven't planned anything?” she asked, a hint of disappointment creeping into her voice.
“I thought you hated the spectacle?” he teased gently, a playful glint dancing in his eyes.
“You really didn't plan anything?” she pressed, unable to hide her curiosity.
“Not this year, baby,” he informed her with an apologetic smile, reaching out to gently brush a stray strand of hair from her face. “But, we can still go for dinner.”
“Dinner is fine,” she agreed with a nod, her disappointment masked by a forced smile. Though she appreciated his willingness to adapt to her preferences, a part of her couldn't help but feel a twinge of longing for the grand gestures of their past anniversaries.
Charles had indeed planned something special for their anniversary. In a thoughtful gesture that balanced their shared love for romance with her desire for privacy, he had booked out their favourite restaurant for the night.
“I booked us a table at our favourite spot,” he announced, his voice laced with anticipation. “Our usual table.”
As they prepared to head out for their evening meal, she couldn't shake the feeling of slight disappointment lingering in the air. Yet, she resolved to make the most of their time together, knowing that the love they shared transcended any extravagant displays or elaborate plans. And as they stepped out into the night, hand in hand, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the simple joys of being with him, even if this anniversary didn't unfold as she had imagined.
“It's so weird how quiet they are tonight,” she observed, a furrow forming on her brow as they parked outside their favourite restaurant.
“It is pretty quiet,” Charles agreed, his tone reflecting her sense of curiosity.
“What if they have a private function?” she quickly asked, her mind racing to find an explanation for the unusual calmness.
“They still gave me a reservation,” Charles shrugged, his brows knitting together in mild confusion.
As Charles swung open the door and she stepped inside, she was instantly taken aback by what greeted her. The familiar sight of their favourite restaurant had been transformed before her eyes. Gone were the usual tables and chairs, replaced instead by an expanse of open space, illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight.
Her breath caught in her throat as she took in the scene before her. All except one table had been removed, leaving only the same table they had reserved for their very first date. It sat at the centre of the room like a beacon, beckoning her forward with its familiar charm.
But it wasn't just the table that caught her eye. Rose petals, delicate and fragrant, were scattered across the floor in a meandering path that led her towards their special spot. Each petal seemed to whisper secrets of love and devotion as she followed their trail, her heart pounding with anticipation.
As she stared at the table, her eyes filled with tears of joy and wonder. Memories of their first date flooded her mind, mingling with the overwhelming emotion of this unexpected surprise. She turned to Charles, her lips parting in astonishment as she struggled to find the words to express her gratitude.
“I knew you planned something,” she mumbled, a smile playing at the corners of her lips as he took her hand and led her towards the table.
“Of course, I did,” he chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with affection as he pulled out her chair. “I just didn't want to share this special day with anyone else.”
“You're such a romantic, Cha,” she gushed, her heart swelling with love as she gazed into his eyes.
“Only for you, my love,” he replied, his smile tender as he leaned in to kiss the back of her hand.
In that moment, surrounded by the enchanting ambiance of their private haven, they shared a quiet exchange of love and devotion, reaffirming the strength of their bond and the depth of their affection for each other.

Your mama’s crying
Pairing: Emily Prentiss x daughter reader
Warning: death, angst, Ian Doyle, depression, Ian calling reader by her “name”
It had been seven months…
Seven months since your mother had passed, your best friend had died at the hands of your father Ian Doyle. Seven months of losing yourself and recreating a new version of who you once were, everything had changed once she left, even me.
I couldn't bare looking into the mirror to stare at the dark eyes, raven hair that I mourned the loss of so I dyed it. Pink. Purple. Blue. Green. Red. Before settling on a beautiful Blonde that she would've loved. I swapped my glasses for coloured contacts, it hurt to see the ghost of my mother in myself.
Seven months and yet it felt like seven years..
The first day had begun a month after mum had passed, I was curled in her bed my face smothered in her blankets that were slowly loosing her scent. Morgan had burst into the room throwing my gym clothes at me telling me to get ready, we ran ten kilometres that day only stopping at the lookout on the hill to yell out our frustrations at the world.
It became a routine of sorts and sometimes Penelope would join us although she couldn’t keep up with us as often. It was okay. We would be okay, Sergio clung to me more as the months grew almost as if he just knew.
I sat with Derek on the roof, his arm wrapped securely around my shoulders as we spoke "I miss her" I whispered curling myself into him more. "Me too, miniP' he kissed my head before resting his cheek on it"me too he repeated sadly "she'd be proud of you, you know that right?" | nodded biting my lip.
I hope she would be
Although I wanted revenge
I had graduated university top of my class with the team cheering me on in the crowd, how was I to see those two guilty faces. It hurt my mother not being in the front row like she was meant to but I imagined she had been.
My father loved me in a strange way
The team thought it best to use me as the bait to catch him, I called him to a cafe just a quiet one that I had visited him before at. Staring at him I felt nothing, his face was blank “whats the softest way to say you took away my friend, my buddy?. Whats the kindest way to say you took away my friend?”.
“You wouldn’t understand Alora” he whispered “so help me understand father” hopefully the team should walk in any moment. “It was simply fate my dear, we have a past” fate? Fate took my mother? My heart had shattering once more.
I wanted to scream and cry, throw anything available at him but I was just so numb and maybe he knew that as he leaned over. Placing a gentle kiss on my forehead before the team burst in “Je t'aime Y/n” he whispered I love you Y/n “Adieu père” I whispered. Goodbye father
How dare he simply call it fate
“Elle m'a enlevé ma fille”
She took my daughter away
I was bound to him, mum was bound to him
I was his daughter
It was all a blur as he was arrested, I had become numb but I knew I hated France it would never be the same I’m not sure Virginia could be the same anymore.
I never went home that day, finding myself at Penelope’s front doorstep tears streaming down my face. Her arms had become home I wondered if my mother would be disappointed in me- of who I had become.
“Oh my sweetheart”
I wished I could’ve told her sooner about my adoration for women of my harboured feelings for an older blonde that I had no chance with. I had an internship with the bau while I found a job that I actually wanted, I had plans just as my mother once had.
We had been called into the conference room, I stood near the back “everyone take a seat” Hotch sighed as JJ stood beside him. "7 months ago I made a decision that affected this Team." he said, and I knew immediatly that this was about mum.
"As you know, Emily had lost a lot of blood after her fight with Doyle. The doctors were able to stabilize her and she was airlifted from Boston to Bethesda under a covert exfilitration. Her identity was strictly need-to-know." he said and I felt sick to my stomach.
"She stayed there until she was well enough to travel, she was reassigned to Paris where she was given several different identities which we had no access to for her security." He goes on.
"She's alive?" Penelope asked.
"But we buried her..." Reid says hurt.
I had buried my mother
I had buried my mother
Yet she had walked into the room with a smile on her face as if these seven months had never existed, I had buried my mother for nothing. These seven months had been a lie, all the words JJ and Aaron said had been lies all those tender hugs and kisses were full of guilt.
I couldn’t help but leave quickly as mum made her way around the team giving out hugs unaware she had watched me go. I couldn’t be there, I couldn’t be in that room not with everyone so happy to have her back, I grieved my mother.
I mourned someone who wasn’t dead
Maybe it was selfish of me but I left the team that day, finally moved my things out of my mothers apartment now that she was back. I ignored her calls so angry she could do such a thing the same went with Aaron and JJ, how could they? my mother?.
The team had called me often saying how my mother had been crying, her sobs begging for me and maybe in some sick way she knew just how I had felt.
I laid with my head in Penelopes lap as I sobbed, her soothing hands running through my hair “I know it’s hard right now Y/n but maybe it would be a good thing if you started talking to her again”.
“I’m just so scared Pen”
“And thats okay baby cakes”
It wouldn’t be another two weeks before I worked up the courage to talk to her, Rossi was hosting a part while I had arrived with the blonde. Mum made her way beside me “I’m proud of you Y/n” she slowly placed a hand on my shoulder.
She took a deep breath in tears already staining her waterline “and I’m sorry, if I could’ve taken you with me I would’ve but Aaron had said no. I asked them everyday about you and I’m sorry I couldn’t be here I’m sorry, I put my little girl through all this pain”
She moved her hands to cup my face “my baby girl, and when you graduated Uni. I made sure Aaron got me a clip of you. I never once stopped thinking about you, Mon cher I love you”
“And I am so so proud of you” the warmth of her lips pressed against my forehead cemented she was real “I’m sorry mama” I cried. “I was just so angry, I didn’t mean to make you cry” she pulled me into her chest rocking us gently side by side.
After a while she chuckle causing me to look up confused “you and Garcia?” She smirked with a raised brow

Promise Me
ft Nanami Kento
A/N: Some Teen!Nanami angst! IDK why but I've been wanting to write this for a while. Header and dividers all credited at the bottom. Rating: 13+, fluffy-ish Warnings: Sadness, angst, mentions of death and dying Pairing: Teen! Nanami x Reader Summary: Faced with a solo mission, reader finds themselves contemplating their life in the Jujutsu world Word Count: 2301 Nanami masterlist
With trembling hands, you type out the text message. You’re aware it’s long, more like a letter but in that moment it felt like you would crumble if you didn’t get it all out into words.
‘Hey Kento. I hope college is going well. You sounded happy when we last spoke. I hope you’re having fun with your friends.
Upper management has assigned me a solo mission. They said it's because they are confident my abilities have reached a stage where I can handle myself and also take down the curse. I know it's because there are no other sorcerers available to accompany me.
Anyway, it's a big step, which is why I called earlier but I know that you’re busy, so I figured I’d text you instead. I leave tomorrow morning. I’m just packing all my gear right now.
And I’ll probably have dinner with my friends tonight and try not to think about the mission. You know how I get when I start overthinking. It’s probably not as big a deal as I’m making it out to be, right? Students take on solo missions all the time.
I have no reason to be scared, right? Management would never assign me to a solo mission they believed was out of my depth, right? I just keep thinking about what it’s like, not having anyone with me. I’ll have to be at my sharpest, so I’m hoping to get a good night’s sleep.
Call me if you can. Or if not today, then sometime tomorrow? I’ll probably be on the train most of the day but we can still talk. Let me know. I love you.’
You hit send and look at your half-packed bag. Each time you attempt to clear your mind, your thoughts threaten to eat you alive. You were terrified at the thought of this solo mission. When management had called you to brief you about it, you had waited for them to tell you who would be accompanying you. The dread that filled your stomach when they said you’d be going alone made you feel like you were carrying around a lead weight.
This year had been rough. It was the year that Nanami had graduated from Jujutsu High, his college acceptance all arranged, as he readied himself to leave behind the world of sorcery for good. You had attended his graduation, the doting girlfriend, tears in your eyes at how proud you were of him, but also because you knew this meant you wouldn’t see him around here anymore. No more midnight walks, or studying for exams, sneaking into each other’s dorms for little kisses and reassuring hugs. You had never thought his being one year your senior would matter until he had shown you his acceptance letter.
There was a sense of worry there too, because college meant he was going away from you, but he had held you so tightly, whispering this didn’t change anything. You were always going to be his girlfriend. He would make it work. He didn’t want anyone else. It had been a few months and the long distance was hard but it brought you more happiness than anything around here ever did.
You continued to pack, glancing at the clock, unable to shake the jittery feeling from your body. It felt like there were a million butterflies in your stomach, and your heart kept pounding even though you didn’t leave for the mission until tomorrow. The innocent morning sun shone through your dorm window, uncaring about the turmoil inside you. You keep glancing at your phone, hoping Nanami will reply, but the screen remains blank. Phantom vibration syndrome kicked in at one point where you could’ve sworn you heard your phone vibrate, picking it up eagerly to check, only to see nothing new on the screen. Your heart sinks with disappointment each time. You knew his schedule and that he was probably in class. He would call you when he could. He’s never not called or at least texted.
As you sit down on your bed, the overwhelming gravity of the situation hits you. You were going alone. There was no backup. If you messed up on this mission…you squeeze your eyes shut. It was one thing if you failed to exorcise the curse. That in some way brought you relief. If you didn’t exorcise it, management would simply express their disappointment and send someone else. But what if…what if…you didn’t exorcise it and the curse…
You gasp, shaking your head violently, trying to rid yourself of the thoughts of death. No, it couldn’t happen that way. You couldn’t die. What you would’ve given in that moment, to not be a sorceress, but to be a normal teenager! To go dress shopping, and enjoy prom, to start writing your own college applications. To know that your life wasn’t in danger and that you would live, live to spend another day with your friends, live to see Nanami again…
Before you knew it, tears filled your eyes, spilling onto your cheeks, and you hugged your pillow tightly for comfort. You remembered how you had cried when Nanami left for missions, out of contact for days, barely sleeping until he sent you a text that his mission was completed and that he was coming back. You remember him training you, always working on your self-defense, making sure your reflexes were honed and sharp. You remember that even when you were sent with a partner, it sometimes didn’t change a thing.
Haibara’s death still hung heavily over everyone, and you think back to Nanami’s expression when he returned from that mission, his eyes dark and solemn, regret lined heavily on his face. It was so unfair, that at the age of 16, he had to endure that. Haibara had been so kind to you as well, the best kind of senpai anyone could have asked for. Nanami never allowed himself to be emotional in front of anyone but had broken down in your arms in the privacy of his dorm room. Neither of you slept well for days after that, often jerking awake in the middle of the night, immediately texting the other for comfort.
You wondered if something happened to you, would Nanami break down the way he did for Haibara? Would it be equal? Would it be worse?
“Please reply,” you whisper, checking your phone again. Still nothing. Did he not care that you were being sent on a solo mission? Had he finally started to enjoy his life away from Jujutsu High that he wasn’t going to answer you anymore? Frustration fills you and you resist the urge to fling your phone across the room. You curl up into a ball and keep reminding yourself that he’d never play around with your feelings, that he was probably busy, and that he’d call you as soon as he could…
The day passes by in a haze. Still no word from Nanami. You try calling him again but it says he’s unreachable. It only alleviates your trepidation. Maybe he had forgotten you. College was a whole new world after all. You scream into your pillow, allowing self-pity to overtake you. No one understood. Your friends had advised you to break up with him before he broke up with you. That he would find someone else at college, that long-distance rarely ever worked out.
You fall asleep on your bed in a blur of confusion, unable to ruminate about your situation anymore.
。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆
Nanami is out of breath as he hurdles through the corridors of Jujutsu High. A few students look at him in surprise and recognition, waving their hands at him as he races past, ignoring their greetings of ‘Nanami senpai!’.
A solo mission…they had the nerve to send you on a solo mission…His breath had caught in his throat when he read your text, all other thoughts wiped blank. He’d immediately talked to his professors stating he had a family emergency and left hurriedly with nothing but his backpack.
It took two trains to get here, one of which had gotten delayed. He couldn’t not see you before this mission, a damned solo mission, without reassuring you, without holding you tight after so many months apart.
A left, a right, another left, then he halts in front of your dorm room and knocks softly. “Y/n?”
When you don’t open the door, he grips the handle, surprised to find it unlocked, and enters quietly. He sees you asleep on your bed, your bag set on the floor. A rush of relief and affection floods him as he sees you holding the little teddy bear he’d gifted you before leaving for college.
‘Hold him when you miss me, yeah?’ He had said to you. You had immediately named it Teddymin, and he was currently tucked under your cheek as you slept uneasily.
“Y/n,” Nanami says your name louder trying to rouse you, not wanting to scare you at seeing him in your dorm unexpectedly. You stir, then open bleary eyes. It was dark outside. Who was calling your name and why did it sound so familiar?
“Y/n.” Your eyes fly open and you quickly sit up, unable to believe it.
“Kento?” You whisper his name disbelievingly, feeling tears well up in your eyes again.
“I’m here.” He sits on the bed, drawing you close to him. You still can’t believe it. Were you dreaming? Was he really here? You grip his sleeve, hear his heartbeat, feel the warmth of his skin, and start crying unrestrainedly. All day, you had tried to keep it together, tried to convince your friends, convince yourself, that you had control over this. That you weren’t fazed about being assigned to a solo mission, that you were proud that management trusted you.
But Nanami’s presence breaks your composure, vulnerability showing through. “Why are you here?”
“Where else would I be?” he asks gently, patting your back. “I couldn’t focus in class, not after seeing your text. I’m sorry for not replying but I was basically catching trains all day to come see you.”
“You did that for me?” Your heart swells with love for him.
“Of course. I just couldn’t…leave you alone, knowing you’re going on this mission by yourself. I had to see you.”
Silence falls between you both, listening to each other breathe. You wipe away your tears and take a steadying breath. Nanami hesitates, then asks, “Y/n, are you sure this is what you want to do? You graduate this year. You can leave all this behind.”
His words root themselves deeply in your mind and you find yourself considering it. Would it be possible to escape this? This unending cycle of fear for your life? “I don’t know. Everyone I know, everyone we know, is part of this. Could I just leave it all behind?”
“You can if you want to,” Nanami insists. “It’s hard, but trust me, it’s peaceful. I don’t want anything happening to you y/n. I’d never be able to forgive myself if I don’t give my best effort to get you away from here.”
You know he means it, otherwise he wouldn’t have come all this way to see you. “You don’t have to make a decision now. We’ll talk about it after you get back from your mission.” He strokes your hair, reassuring you.
“I will come back right?” There. You had asked the question that had been festering inside you all day. Nanami freezes when he hears you and his embrace tightens even more.
“Of course you will. Why wouldn’t you?” He swallows, forcing himself to not think about any other answer to your question. After Haibara, he can’t take any more losses. He couldn’t lose you too. He’d break and probably never be made whole again.
“I’m going to talk to Gojo. This will be your first and last solo mission.”
You wanted to protest but secretly, you’re relieved. “Would it work?”
“I can try. It’s reckless to send you without a partner.” He pulls away to frame your face in between his hands, heart breaking as he sees your look of apprehension. “Don’t worry. You will get back safely. I know your ability. You are a talented sorceress.”
Hearing his vote of confidence somehow carried more weight than management’s. “I really needed to hear that,” you say in a shaky voice. He embraces you again, gripping you so tightly it hurts but you couldn’t bring yourself to tell him to stop.
“You’ll come back. We’ll dance together at your prom. You’ll graduate. And I’ll make sure you never have to face something like this alone again.” He says all the things he wishes for you, wishes for both of you because honestly, he can’t imagine a future without you anymore. The conviction with which he says his words fortify you, and you finally manage to pull yourself into a better headspace.
You wish he could accompany you on this mission, but understand that management could turn this into a cascade of litigation. He had disappointed a lot of people when he had left the school, and you couldn’t risk him using his abilities since he had forfeited his privilege to use them when he had surrendered his rank and title as a sorcerer.
He presses a chaste kiss on the top of your head. “I love you. Promise to come back safely to me.”
“I will. I promise.”
Nanami doesn’t sleep for the next few nights. Finally, after 4 days, he sees the text message from you.
I’m back.
It was only then that he allowed himself to break down and cry, not with grief like when Haibara died, but with relief that you had made it.

Seven months ago, upon the birthday of one of your brother’s friends whom you were told to stay away from, loud music ached your head and resounded through your ears, bitter liquid igniting your throat as you made your way through a crowd of third years playing drinking games, declining their invite for you to join them, and forced your way through the vacant kitchen. Refilling a new cup with water to soothe the pain that was crawling into your head, you sat on the kitchen counter after filling it up, closing your eyes and praying that no one entered your room and infused it with disturbing noises and revolting scents. As you opened your eyes, you caught the amused stare of a boy with pale skin, dark brown hair that fell below his eyes, abnormally long fangs, and a sharp jawline. You watched as he scanned you and walked towards you, a boyish grin igniting on his face. Your mind blanks as his built arms form a cage around your body. His face resembled an animal who finally caught something it desired. Snapping out of the trance he had so easily put you in, you attempted to free yourself which was stopped without difficulty. As his face advanced towards yours, your breaths mingled, and a rush of memorabilia flooded your mind as you recalled who he was.
Park Sunghoon.
You were five years old when you first met him, two years before he got into his career of figure skating. You met him through Jake, your older brother by one year, and was instantly included as the baby of the friendship. Mainly because you were the baby of the friendship. Your friendship with him continued until you were 15 when he went abroad to continue his training in figure skating. You knew Jake still called him, but you didn’t know that he came back. Looking much more like a man rather than an adolescent boy.
Leading your mind back to reality, you scanned his face again. Nothing changed much besides the fact that he looked a lot less young than he did when you last saw each other.
“So now do you remember me, love?” He asked, breath fanning your face, probably reading the confusion on your face as you looked at him.
Your stomach lurched at the sudden nickname and hint of playfulness in his tone.
Ignoring his question, you caught his face in your hands and lifted it to examine it better. “You look old.”
Hearing this, his face contorted in confusion at your sudden statement. “That’s one way to welcome me.”
Your mouth curled at the corners as you replied, “My apologies, your highness. I welcome your presence dearly.”
Amused at your tease, he straightened up. “You haven’t changed at all, princess.”
“You’ve changed. You became a massive flirt.” Your nose scrunched to mask the acrobatics your stomach was performing.
“Only for you.”
You could admit that before he left, there was something between the two of you. Exchanging secret glances, holding hands, and the utmost care you would put into doing something that had something to do with him.
“I heard from an unnamed source that you say this to everyone.” Still smiling, your arms engulfed his neck, pulling him into a hug.
“Tell that source, that I only mean it when I’m talking to you.” His body was warm and his hair tickled your shoulder. He adjusted his head and trailed soft kisses from your neck to your cheeks, stopping just as he reached your lips.
Amusement hinted with disappointment washed your features as he pulled away. “You tease.” You muttered, bringing your hand to the nape of his neck and pulling him towards you. Breaths mingled; your lips connected moving in sync as your heartbeat rapidly increased. Separating the both of you, you jumped off the kitchen counter, noticing almost immediately how much he had grown.
“You’re still short.” His lips, now tinted in pink, found their way to your forehead as you tugged at his hand, insisting on bringing him up to your room to show him everything he missed out on while he was gone.
Years had gone by, but it still felt like nothing had changed at all.
All you desired was a moment with him alone. Cramped in your room, your brother and his friends made themselves visibly comfortable by splaying their limbs out on your bed, leaving no breathing space for you who was in between Jake and Sunghoon. The movie was draining and boring, but Sunghoon insisted that they all watch the movie together. With only seven minutes left in the movie, you listened as everyone’s breathing became heavy. Your eyes began to feel heavy and were about to shut before an arm snaked around your waist and pulled you closer to them. He planted a kiss on your neck and adjusted your head so that you were resting on his arm. Flinching, you felt a cold hand sneak under your shirt drawing hearts on your stomach, reminding you how much he loved you.
“Your hands are so cold.” You said, fighting the urge to kick him as his hand was creeping higher.
“I’m cold-blooded.” He replied, his breath warm against your neck as you rolled your eyes at the horrible joke. He kissed your collarbone for a longer period this time and you quickly moved out of his reach, sensing that something that could get the both of you in trouble was about to happen. A grin painted his face as he pulled you back into his arms. “Is my baby scared that they’ll find out about us?” His tone was mocking as he was amused by your cautiousness. He was always getting the both of you into situations like this. Sending you messages when you were showing your brother something, knowing very well that you named him ‘My love’, holding your waist and nuzzling his head between your neck when everyone was around but no one was watching. Elbowing his rib, you turned to face his amused stare as he leaned down to peck your lips. Doing it more than once to tease you. For the last one you initiated it and held it for long, only separating to catch your breath. Lip on lip, moving in sync as your breaths mingled together. You felt someone moving beside you but still didn’t stop just to tease your boyfriend who pulled away almost immediately upon hearing the movement.
You looked up at his face and grinned in utter amusement at the worry that was painted on it.
“Are you scared they’re going to find out about us?” You teased, copying his mocking tone. He grinned back at you and muttered lowly against your hair, “How about we go to my place to continue?”
Your smile increased as you sat up and walked towards your door. "Why not?"

The Kiss- Thranduil x Modern!Reader
Summary: Reader surprises Thranduil with a kiss
Word count: 1, 398
Bare feet slap against the cool stone as you run freely, and perhaps drunkenly, away from the regal Mirkwood party. The elvish party wasn’t boring per say, but with the strong wine in your system and being used to different types of parties, you suddenly felt crowded in the large ballroom and needed to feel the cool air on your skin and in your lungs.
You knew your destination, as you’d been shown it only a few days previous. It was a gorgeous fountain still close enough to the party to hear the music but far enough that you most likely won’t be interrupted.
Being by yourself and hearing the pleasant music, you couldn’t help but dance around the fountain. Barefoot, drunk and not a care in the world, you began to prance around, freely and happily. You’re sure you look like a beautiful and elegant sight, but to the approaching king, you appear more like a joyful child.
Thranduil had looked around the ballroom and was disappointed to find you had vanished. Leaving the party, he was furious to have to go and find you, that you’d left alone and unsupervised. You’d arrived three months previous from a strange world and the king had taken it upon himself to house you here and care for you.
Spotting you at the fountain, he’d planned on scolding you, as he’d done with a young Legolas many times, but seeing you more happy and free then he’d seen honestly anyone in a long time, his rage seemed to vanish.
Smirking to himself he decided to sit on one of the benches and wait and see if you’d spot him. You’d gone around three times before he decided to announce himself.
“Having fun are we?” He interrupted your joy.
Whipping around caused you to because a little more wobbly but you could still make out the scowl of the king. Normally this would make you anxious, but with the alcohol in your system, you couldn’t help but just simply see him as beautiful. You’d managed to be polite your whole stay in Mirkwood so far, but how handsome the king was definitely didn’t escape your knowledge.
Seeing him sitting on a simple stone bench, his tall stature and powerful presence made the simple seat look more like a thrown. He just looked so perfect sitting there with his blank face and long legs spread wide, you couldn’t help the way your body tingled and your mind turned perhaps a little cheeky.
“Well I’m having a lot more fun now you’re here, your highness.” You drunkenly smirk at him as you saunter over to him, standing in between his spread legs.
Your eyes and hands couldn’t seem to stay still, and you found yourself staring all over his face and lightly running your fingers through his lovely white hair. In return Thranduil found himself staring back at you, watching your movements with intrigue.
The elvish king couldn’t keep his eyes from you and was surprised that he wasn’t mad at you or insulted. Even as your hands cupped along his cheeks and you leaned in and planted a sweet kiss to his lips, he still was not mad.
Your lips were soft and your kiss sweet. A part of him wanted to push you away, but a stronger part wanted more. That stronger part won as his eyes began to close, and he found himself leaning closer into your kiss.
As quickly as the kiss began, it was over. As you part from one another you both find each others gaze. Thranduils eyes are filled with confusion and wonder, whereas yours are glazed and a stupid and giddy smile on your face.
“You’re pretty, like a pretty princess.” You giggle at the king as your fingers card through his hair once again.
Thranduils kingly demeanour is broken and he finds himself chuckling at your drunken compliment.
“I think it’s time to get you to bed, small one.” He smirks at you as he stands from the bench.
“Oh yeh, you gonna take me to bed?” You flirt stupidly as your eyes begin to close, resting in his arms and against his chest, as he carry’s you. Another chuckle leaves the king as he begins to walk you to your bedroom.
The walk to your room is quiet as you fall asleep also immediately. Once in your room, Thranduil tucks you snuggly into bed. Looking down at your sweet sleeping form, he can’t help but stare at you lovingly.
He should turn away and leave you be, but doesn’t, instead he sits at your bedside for a moment, stroking your cheek and staring at your peaceful face.
“How have you managed to affect me so?” He whispers down to your deaf ears
*****
When you awoke the next day, you were surprised that although you were groggy, you were not hungover. Opening your eyes, you take in your surroundings and are confused at the many layers over your legs. You notice you are still wearing the gown from last night and suddenly it comes back to you, the kiss, you kissed Thranduil. Panic begins to set in as you lay there in worry.
Before you could spend too much time on the situation however, you heard a knock at your door and your name called.
“Come in.” You quickly blurt out.
Letting out a sigh, you notice that it is just one of the maids bringing you what looks like lunch.
“Seems you needed quite the sleep after last nights festivities, my lady. You have missed breakfast, but King Thranduil asked me to bring you lunch.”
If he asked to bring you lunch then maybe he wasn’t too mad at you, hopefully.
“Thank you.” You reply quietly as she places your meal beside you on a small table.
“You’re most welcome. The king has also asked for you to meet him in the garden.”
“Do you know why?” You ask anxiously.
“I’m not sure, my lady, but he did not appear upset with you. Once you’re finished with your meal, I will return and help you dress.” She explains as she exits with a nod.
Returning her nod, your mind begins to race with curiosity. So he wasn’t mad, or maybe he was just staying calm for now. You ate your food quickly, wanting to get the interaction over with.
Soon after finishing your meal, you were dressed in a simple purple dress that flowed to your ankles, with sleeve that came past your wrists. You were walked to the gate of Thranduils private garden, but left to enter alone.
Your heart raced as you walked closer to where he stood, nervously you played with your sleeves as you tried to keep your lunch in your stomach. As Thranduil noticed you approaching, you were surprised to see he had a faint smile on his lips.
“I trust you slept well.” He chuckled to you, as you stood before him.
“I always sleep well after a night of drinking, dancing and…. Possibly embarrassing myself.” You shyly confess, your head downcast in shame.
Feeling a delicate touch of fingers under your chin, you found your eyes meeting Thranduils. He looked at you so kindly and what you think you mistake for lovingly; there is no pity in his actions or his gaze as you expected there might be, just kindness.
“You did not make a fool of yourself, dear.” He soothingly calms your worries.
You begin to find yourself leaning into his touch as he fingers rise to cup your cheek and he moves closer to you.
“Your kiss did not offend me, and in fact I quite enjoyed it.” Thranduil confessed, surprisingly bashfully.
Your brows knit in confusion at such a confession, causing Thranduils grin to grow.
“I called you here because I wondered how your kiss would feel with both of us sober.” He told you gently, his voice so soft that it lulled your shock, even as his other hand rested gently on your other cheek.
“I’d like that too.” You whispered back your confession as both you and Thranduil leaned into one another.
Your lips found each other and connected in a sweet and loving way. As the kiss continued, your hands came to rest around his neck, using the leverage and your tippy toes to push deeper into the kiss.

hi! i'm leaving tumblr, and i wanted to put out an explanation post before i do.
i mainly write ff because it's a fun interaction with a fun community. recently it hasn't been so fun.
yes, i'm busy with work so i haven't had time - but even if i did have the time, i wouldn't reach to start writing like i used to. people always say this, but because of lack of interaction (i'm specifically referring to comments and/or reblogs) i've lost interest.
i have a few fics lined up for the next few months, they're all waiting in my queue to be posted once a month up until march. they were all written during the summer or earlier, i've just been putting off posting them. after that, i don't have more, and i'm not sure that there will be more.
i have a lot to say, and i'm not expecting anyone to read it, but if you want to know why i'm leaving then this is it.
(if you've been tagged in this and wonder why, but don't want to read further: don't worry! i didn't tag anyone intentionally, i took from my moots and my taglist to spread the word that i'm leaving this blog. you haven't done anything wrong, and i'm not expecting you specifically to read the rest of this!)
the only reason i stayed on here was because i loved seeing people interact with my writing, it made me happy to see that people enjoy my writing. nowadays, i basically get nothing. since i'm not doing this for anyone but myself, i'm not going to continue doing something that ends with me being disappointed and envious.
my writing feels lifeless to me because i'm not actually interested in what i'm doing anymore. i write, get it done, send it out, and hope that at least someone will tell me that they like it. it feels pathetic to write out, but i feel like some people may agree. the only times i ended up getting that kind of interaction was when i wrote smut.
i was never a smut writer, it wasn't something i was extremely comfortable with. i think there are a lot of people who do it very well, and that's good for them. i'm just not one of them. after being put in sexual situations in my personal life that i, in hindsight, did not feel comfortable with and deeply regret, i don't see myself being comfortable with writing smut again. (the posts with nsfw content that come out in the next few months were written before i came to this realization, for context.)
it's weird and embarrassing when you feel like you'd never fall for pressure of norms and then suddenly you do! i look back at this blog and it doesn't feel like me, and now i get it. it's not wrong or upsetting, just a change of perspectives.
i think it's great that people can write smut and share it on here, and i don't want anyone to think that i am against it. i have simply come to the point where it makes me uncomfortable, so i'm taking myself out of those kinds of situations (as anyone should do if they feel the same way, do not harass people who write smut simply because of its nsfw content that you're personally uncomfortable with). if i do return to writing in this way, in this forum and genre, again, i know that i won't be writing smut.
all of this to say, i'm not going to be on here anymore. i might read a few things here and there, because i do still really love reading fluff from the amazing fluff writers out there, but i won't post. maybe i'll create a new blog for reblogging fluff fics or something. i've lost interest and that's that. i'm hoping that i can write my own book some day, and if i do i've only managed to do so because i got to practice writing on here.
this was fun while it lasted, and i definitely don't regret making this blog. so, thank you to everyone who supported this blog, i've loved reading your comments. thank you to the people who have helped me in my writing, i hope that you know who you are.
tumblr is filled with blank blogs and people who won't comment on fics they actually like. if you ended up reading all of this, i encourage you to go comment on a writer's fic with some nice words. it's always appreciated, i promise.
that's all!

Part V | Part VII
Day before Solstice
It was evening and you were seated in your favourite armchair, wrapped in a blanket, immersed in reading a book that Tamlin brought for you.
The mentioned High Lord was hanging around most of the day, accompanying you on your strolls, helping you with small tasks, returning to his manor only to change clothes or bring a roasted meat for meal. It became a habit that you grew to like. You got even used to his sudden mood swings. There were days he wouldn't say a single word, sadness and pain creating a dark cloud above his head. But otherwise he was kind and pleasant companion, occasionally even funny and playful.
The door behind you opened and closed, heavy steps crossed the room and stopped in front of the fireplace, throwing few logs into the fire and piling the rest next to the fireplace.
The pungent smell of magic filled the air and you instantly knew he cleaned his clothes and the mess he'd made. Your heart squeezed with panic, breathing became difficult. It was incomprehensible fear that had rooted deep inside of you. You had no idea where it came from, but it was always there, making you curl into yourself, locking your muscles in a place. No matter how many times he used magic in your presence, you couldn't get used to it. Tamlin seemed to notice it and refrained from using his powers as much as possible, which you were really grateful for.
"Y/N," he said just a breath away from your ear, making you wince. You looked up at him, surprised he got so close in a blink of eye. A wide smirk plastered on his face. "Do you know what day is tomorrow?"
You blinked not comprehending what answer he wanted to hear from you. "It's Tuesday today, so tomorrow is Wednesday. Is that what you are asking?" you frowned.
"Silly," smiling kindly he patted top of your head, a habit he picked up recently. "It is Solstice." He was looking down at you with expectation.
You tilted your head to the side, waiting for an explanation. Solstice. It's word you had heard before. One of your friends briefly mentioned it once. But you couldn't remember what the little selkie said about it.
Tamlin seemed to be disappointed by lack of your enthusiasm. "It's a holiday, Y/N," he sighed sitting down in armchair next to yours, new addition to your cottage. "Families and friends usually gather, have a festive dinner, exchange gifts, spend some time together. Have you never celebrated it?"
"I guess no, I don't remember it," you said. And there it was again, the emptiness. Tamlin searched your face, your eyes for any gleam of feelings, sentiment, anything, but there was nothing. You were blank as a sheet of unwritten paper. Could it be caused by memory loss?
Tamlin let out a long breath, decided to let it be for now. "Well.. What do you think about having a festive dinner tomorrow? Together. Nothing big, just a small celebration."
You shrugged, suddenly remembering the redhead male. He asked you to not mention his visit before he disappeared and you complied even though you had mixed feelings about it. He also said that he was Tamlin's friend. Did it mean he would come too?
"Will there be.. Uhm.. Do you expect any guests?" you asked carefully.
Tamlin's smile turned sad. "No, unfortunately there's nobody left from my family as well as friends. It will be just two of us."
You had grown used to his smiles and teasing so much recently that your heart hurt seeing him like this. There wasn't much you could do to cheer him up. You placed your small hand on his bigger one, squeezing it lightly. You smiled as brightly as possible. "So what do we need for the party?"
Day of Solstice, Velaris
Lucien walked slowly down the street, heading to the River House. Feyre had invited him to their family party. He didn't want to disappoint her, still feeling to be in debt for everything that happened, especially, for all he didn't do to help her when she needed him. He didn't have anything to do nor anywhere to go, so he couldn't decline anyway.
Family dinner and party. It meant there would be all members of Rhysand's inner circle. That was another reason why he didn't hurry. They made it more than clear how they felt about him. Uninvited guest, that's what he was to them.
He was resigned to being ignored during the entire event, it would actually make it more bearable. But he knew better than to hold such high expectations. There always was someone who found a reason to make a mean comment on his address.
Lucien had to endure it for at least an hour and then he could make up some excuse to leave. He sighed. It would most likely be the longest hour in his entire life.
Lucien checked the contents of his bag. Both presents were there. Since he didn't have good relationship with Rhysand and others, the only presents he bought were for Feyre and her sister Elain.
Elain, his mate. Thinking about her Lucien slightly blushed. He took time to find a perfect gift for his mate. Even though she made it clear she wasn't interested in the bond, he still hoped she would find it in herself to appreciate his thoughtfulness and feelings he put into it, and give him at least one look, one sweet smile. It was all he dared to hope for.
Lucien closed his eyes, praying to Mother for any positive reaction, word, small touch, gaze, anything that could soothe the ache in his chest. Anything that would give him hope for better future, for future with her safely in his arms.
His journey ended faster than he expected and before he realised it, Lucien was standing in front of the doors of the River House. He was about to knock when the doors opened, Feyre standing on the threshold with welcoming smile.
"Just in time. I'm happy you came," stepping aside she invited him in.
Lucien left his coat in the hall and followed her to the dinning room. As expected everyone was already gathered there, leaving a space for him at the farthest end of the table.
Lucien nodded to Rhysand in greeting, his eyes immediately finding his lovely mate who just came in with tray in hands, closely followed by Shadowsinger. Seeing them so close to each other was like kick in the guts. Lucien had to bite inside of his cheek to refrain from doing or saying anything he would be later sorry for.
When she noticed him, Elain froze on the spot for a second, averting her gaze fast. Her lips pulled into a thin line. Quickly she placed the tray on the table and took her place. The damn Shadowsinger slipped to the seat right next to her. Lucien tried really hard to not let everyone know how much this hurt him and rather sat down too.
For a moment there was an awkward silence. Feyre sent him sympathetic look from the other side of table, changing it into a frown as she looked at her older sister. Lucien noticed the sympathy on the faces of several of the gathered members, but the rest most likely thought that he deserved this.
Clearing his throat, Rhysand broke the silence and took the word. He talked something about being grateful that they survived the year, for his family and so on, but Lucien paid him no attention, gazing down on his plate.
"So let's finally dig into this delicious feast. Cheers," Rhysand finished holding up a glass of wine. Lucien dutifully took his glass and drank it all at one go. No doubt he needed it to survive this gathering.
During the dinner Lucien had to grit his teeth and clench fists under the table to refrain from jumping up and punching that damn bat. How he envied all those smiles, small gestures and conversations in a small voice. It was his mate.
Lucien was grateful when the dinner was finally over and party moved to the sitting room. However his relieve was a short lived. Elain took a seat on the couch next to Azriel, so their intimate silent conversation could continue.
Lucien tried to look cool, unmoved by the scene in front of him, but as soon as the gifts were exchanged, he was ready to excuse himself. Unfortunately, his plan was ruined by Feyre who came to sit down next to him.
She gave him an apologetic smile. "I'm very sorry for that," she tilted head towards the place those two were seated at. "I will try to talk with her."
"That's okay," he forced himself to say with a smile. "She made herself clear before. I don't expect her to change her attitude overnight."
Feyre squeezed his hand in a silent support. He could sense there's something else she wanted to say, but she was hesitant.
"I thought we were past this stage," arching a brow he teased her with a smirk.
She chuckled. "You know me too well." Biting down on her lower lip Feyre got serious again. "I.. I wanted to asked you.." Feyre squirmed nervously and clear her throat. "Do you have any news about him?"
"Him?" he teased her, pretending he didn't know who she asked about, but she only nodded. Lucien inhaled sharply letting air out slowly. "Well, I wouldn't worry about him anymore. I think he's going to be fine."
"And why is that so?" a night kissed voice came from behind their backs. Rhys moved from his seat without being noticed, now leaning in with interest.
"Well.." Lucien was hesitant. "He has rather a lovely company now."
"Oh, really?" Feyre leaned closer too, curious. "Who is it? Did you meet them?"
"I had the pleasure," he smiled. "I followed him once. I had even chance to talk with her for a while. She is what he needs right now to get back on his feet. I actually went to the manor today, too, but as expected he wasn't home."
"I'm so glad to hear that," Feyre smiled softly. It seemed that a great weight fell from her shoulders and she could breathe freely again.
"We all were worried," Rhysand kissed the top of her head. "Last time I saw him I had a feeling we weren't entirely alone, but there was no scent, no sound, nothing. Like a ghost. I'm curious who she is. Maybe I should pay her visit too."
Lucien's eyes narrowed. For Tamlin's sake it would be better if Rhysand stayed far from them. "I'm not sure it's a good idea. If you're so curious I can show you my memory."
"Very well," Rhysand purred, his powers already waiting impatiently on the other side of barrier that Lucien built around his mind. As soon as he let him in, Rhysand took a look at the memory.
High Lord paled, horror written on his handsome face. His eyes widened and he stumbled backwards as if Lucien shoved him. "That's..That's impossible," he breathed out, voice low. "That can't be."

I love your stories so much that I have another request.😘
Then write a story where William Killick eats the reader's pussy, because William's family despises her because she is not English and poor so William proves that she is not dirty and that he will do anything with her.🤭
Thank you lovely ✨ I got the second part : “I'm the one who requested William to eat his girlfriend's pussy in front of his family, I forgot (but optional but it would be naughty but fun) to get her pregnant, since he wants to have children with her 🤭”
TW: some angst , oral! Family watching voyeurism , p in v unprotected , breeding kink, nipple sucking! Not proofread.
When he first seen William knew right then and there he had to have you. You were sitting outside on your front porch as the sun was setting looking like a real life angel. The sun was basking you in a golden glow , soft smile on your lips when the two of you made eye contact he swore his heart had stopped. All it took was you blowing a little kiss to him from your porch swing that had him running and jumping over the fence to meet you.
It wasn’t long before you found yourself packing and running away back home with William. It’s not like you had a lot to pack or anything holding you back. The two of you made it back to his home and settled in quickly. It filled him with joy watching you decorate, cook, garden, you really were an angel.
After being together for five months William had decided now was the time to introduce you to his family. He arranged for them to come over for a nice dinner that you had prepared. You made the family favorite as best as you could.
“Don’t worry darling, I know they’re going to love you! I love you.” William kissed you softly while rubbing your arms.
“I love you too William but these are your parents and siblings we’re talking about ! And it’s painfully obvious that I’m not English !” You grabbed onto his waist allowing him to pull you close and wrap his arms around you tightly.
“I don’t care about that, you shouldn’t either! You’ve got a big heart, you take care of me and yourself! It’s going to be okay!” William kissed your head again before the sound the doorbell ringing filled your ears.
William opened the door with a smile on his face and his mother came in cupping his face to pinch his cheeks. His father was next giving him a pat on the back and his siblings? They just walked in not really caring.
“Where is the lovely lady that you’ve been speaking so highly of hmm?” His father asked.
“She’s in the kitchen.” William shut the front door before walking back to see his family comfortable in the living room.
“Ah yes, where she belongs.” His father tried to be funny but William turned his nose. You had heard the comment and the emotion in you swirled between anger, disappointment and sadness. How could a gentleman like William come from an asshole like that?
You slowly walked out as the family turned to look at you. William grabbed your hand and squeezed it tightly. His lips meet your cheek making you blush as his family sat there with blank stares.
“Everyone, this is… Y/N! The lovely lady I’ve told you about.” He held your hand as you stood there giving them a small wave while the feeling in your stomach turned faster.
“Hello!” You spoke up.
“My god! She’s not English!” His father stood up quickly.
“Dad stop, she’s a lovely girl. She makes me happy.” William let go of your hand only to wrap his arm around you.
“How dare you! You’re ruining the family name!” His father glared his nostrils as his mother stood behind him trying to calm him down. His siblings sat there with the blank stare still going.
“How dare I? How dare you come in my home and insult my lady! She’s wonderful in every aspect! She can cook! She can clean and ya really know something… I’ve fucked her! I’ve fucked good and hard too! Best I’ve ever had!” William shouted. His hands had balled into fist as his family stood there in shock.
“Can you tell us more about how good she is in bed?” his brother asked raising his hand only for the family to give him the death glare. “What?” He shrugged his shoulders.
“I can’t believe you’d fuck a filthy non English! What even is she?”
“I’m sorry but you’re being incredibly rude to me and you don’t even know me. Your son is a gentleman and you, you’re an asshole!” You spoke up with a shaky voice. Tears spilled from your eyes as William grabbed you. He was proud of you.
“You can’t speak to me that way!” His father stepped up to you and pulled back his hand and was about to hit you when William quickly pushed him away.
“This is our home! And you know what, I will do what I want when I want. You think she’s so filthy huh?” William acted in rage as he picked you up, sat you on the table , pushed up your dress and ripped off your panties.
“William!” You gasped in shock as he tossed your panties away, turned you to face his family and spread your legs to show off your pussy.
“Look at her pussy ! Look how soft, pretty and pink it is! Such a pretty pussy and it’s mine! Looks a lot better than whores ya’ve been fucking isn’t dad?!” William waited all about two seconds before he buried his face between your legs and licked at your pussy.
“Oh fuck!” Your hands flew to his head and pulled on his hair. It shouldn’t have turned you on that his family was watching you get eaten out but it was. It also turned William on. He was licking at you feverishly while humming as his hands massaged your thighs. “William!” You laid back against the table as he licked a fat stripe up your folds before slipping two fingers in you to open you up. His family wanted to look away but the way you were moaning, gasping and twitching was to their amusement. His brother even tried to touch your shoulder but William smacked it away.
“She’s delicious.” William licked his lips when he finally came up for air after eating you raw! “And you know what I think, I think she’d be an excellent mommy.” His hand rested on your stomach.
“What?!?” You shot up quickly.
“It’s true darling! You’d look so beautiful with that pregnancy glow. Stomach getting bigger with our baby. Huge tits!” William had a smile plastered on his face as his father made a face of disgust.
“You’d really have a child with her?”
“Of course I would! I love her!” William started undoing his pants and that’s when most of his family left besides his brother who ended up being dragged out by his mother.
“If you get her pregnant you shall be written off and disowned from this family.” His father stood his ground but neither of you cared. You were already happy without them around so neither of you cared if William was getting written off.
“Then it was nice knowing you.” William turned his attention back to you as he pulled down his pants and his whitey tighties before rubbing the head of his cock against you.
“Please William! I want your baby.” You knew that he had a breeding kink, but truth be told so did you!
“I’ll give you all the babies you want honey.” He pushed his cock slowly into you inch by inch making you paw at him. He watched in amazement how your face always twisted in pleasure when he entered you. William bottomed out in you and started fucking you like an animal! The table shook below you as he held tightly onto your hips. The soft fabric of your dress brushed against his fingers making him close his eyes. He leaned down to press his forehead to yours as he bruised your cervix. He wanted to put a baby in you for awhile , this was just extra fuel to the fire that his parents needed to cut him off.
His family had ran out when he pulled down his pants so it was the two of you alone. His hands moved to grab your breasts and pull them out of your dress so he could suck on your nipples which made you squirm below him. William sucked heavily on your nipples as he fucked you hard and deep on the kitchen table.
“Honey, you’re such good girl ya know that? Letting me eat your pussy like that and now you’re letting me put a baby in you? Such a good fucking girl!” William spoke through gritted teeth as he pulled you to the edge of the table to get a different angle on you. He wanted to get you pregnant for sometime and this was it.
“William! You’re going to make me cum baby!” You were pleading below him as he was fucking you so hard you could feel his balls slapping against you.
“I’m close too sweetheart ! Cum on my cock so I can fill you with my cum baby!” He was panting above you. The two of you looked in each other in the eye and that was all it took before your orgasm washed over you . You clench his cock tightly which sent him over the edge to spill his seed inside of you. He came with a loud groan and smile spreading on his face. Neither of you moved after you came down from your highs. He wanted to make sure it would take!
A month later after that night you had been making William his favorite dinner when he walked in.
“Good evening baby, how was work?” You asked sweetly as he hung up his coat before sitting down at the table.
“Same as usual!” He sighed before picking up his napkin. He noticed something about his napkin and opened it. “Honey… what’s on my napkin?”
“I drew a little picture on there.” You smiled as you set his plate down in front of him. William looked up at you in confusion until he realized you were smiling while holding your stomach.
“No… are you really pregnant ??”
You nodded slowly before he wrapped his arms around you and picked you up to spin you around. A giggle left your lips as he peppered your face with excitement.
“I’m going to be a dad! And you’re going to be the most beautiful mom!” He was in excitement .
“We’ll have our own little family.” You kissed him softly.
“Our little family.” William kissed your lips back before smiling against them. He was getting what he’s always wanted , a real loving family that he could call his.
