ive been rewatching old simpsons (dont worry i didnt get disney+ yarrr) and i have to say that, as with most adult cartoons made by boomer/gen x white dudes where white people voice people of color, i wince frequently and even am kind of disgusted that this shit was allowed to air, and also that i wish to strike the word/phrase "g*pped" and "what a g*p" from everyone's vocabulary forever, but it really starts getting funny around season 3, which fits into my unifying theory of sitcom longevity very well
