I've been going through a gender identity crisis and it made me feel better to chop off most of my hair and I was wondering if they would still like me or not :')

Demon Brothers seeing MC chopping off their hair

Lucifer:

At first, he only sees the hair chopped and thinks it's a practical thing.

After all, shorter hair is easier to maintain, easier to wash, to dry, to keep it neat.

So he of course tells you you look wonderful and moves on. He likes how it looks, you seem happy, it's none of your business.

If you tell him you cut it off for gender confusion reasons, he will be more attentive.

He will make sure to stop gendered language with you altogether, unless you specifically want him to use a certain gender as your preferred.

He will teach you how to style your hair, specially if you want it to look more masculine. He has a soft spot for more elegant and formal styles.

If you do end up coming out as transmasc or nonbinary, he will be taking you to buy new clothes, and he will definitely help if you want to medically transition.

Overall, this man is the Avatar of Pride in every way possible. He wants you to feel good about yourself, to love yourself fully, and he will do whatever you need to hell you reach that point.

Mammon:

This boy is head over heels about you. If let your hair grow to your feet, or shave it, or chop it, or even have a monk haircut, he will love it because of how much he loves you.

It will be like pulling teeth to get him to admit it, tho. He will look at you and go "ya liked my hair so much you decided to copy it, huh, MC?"

If he notices you're hesitant about it, he will hype you up, however. He also wants you to feel your best.

If you asked for his help he will be over the moon, but he will destroy your hair. Keep him away from scissors.

The moment he finds out it's gender questioning, he will be all over you, asking about names and pronouns, all things you might wanna try it out.

He wants to take you out to get new clothes, binders, pride merch, all he can. It's part wanting to spend some money and part wanting to support you.

In the end of the day, he just wants you to feel happy and whole. He is your first guy, he will always want your best.

Plus, your new hair is very stimmy. He cannot stop petting it!

Leviathan:

He knows exactly what's going on from the moment you show your hair. He wants so badly to tell you he understands, that he feels the same, that he has questioned himself and his identities many times.

But he is the most awkward person alive, it comes out as "a normie haircut for a normie" and he wants to dig a hole and stick his head on the ground.

Once he takes his foot off his mouth, however, he is your biggest hypeman.

He will find every videogame and anime character that is trans, every gender non conforming, even characters that questions their gender.

He will try any pronoun or name you want, and he will suggest names he thinks you might like.

He tends to shove his nose in your hair when you're cuddling him, so having it shorter makes this easier for him.

He ends up doing a lot of research on the internet so he goes from mildly confused to expert in two days.

Overall, he's trying his best, and he will do anything he can, even if he's very awkward in the beginning.

Satan:

He loves your new hair! He will tell you outright, and he will be excited for your new look. He isn't particularly loud about it, but he will be honest about how much he likes it.

If you tell him you chopped it off for gender issues, he will be sympathetic to you.

This man has questioned every little bit of his identity, as he feels like he is lesser as a subset of Lucifer. He has definitely questioned his gender, therefore, he's been there.

He will be quoting Simone de Beauvoir to you: "you aren't born a woman, you become one." He will specially stress how this turns on any gender, how socialization plays a big part on how you are gendered, and he will ramble on and on about how gender works if you let him.

Surprise. He's well versed in gender theory. He has read every book about LGBT experiences he could get his hands on.

He's another one who's trying out pronouns, names, clothing, terms with you. He is excited you trust him in this journey.

Overall he treats gender and sexuality as fluid and natural, and you will never find him confused when talking about gender and sexuality issues. He's got your back.

Asmodeus:

He is immediately squealing about your hair! Oh, you look soo adorable. You look so nice with this cute hair... He wants to style it in so many ways.

Oh, you are having gender issues? Asmo will hear you out. You will be sitting there, with a face mask while he does mani and pedi for you, and you will pour your heart out for him.

At some point, you might notice he is quiet, even if he hasn't stopped treating you right. You ask if he's okay, and...

"You can do that??"

Congratulations, you gave Asmo a lot to think about.

He isn't the most confirming man, as he is a man in the sense of that was was given to him. Giving him options will get him to actually question it.

You two will probably go through it together, trying out new things, and turns out, Asmo is nonbinary! None gender with left boy, apparently.

No matter where you end up in the gender spectrum, he will always support you as he loves you for who you are.

He will also be incredibly thankful to you helping him out with that! He will spoil you endlessly for helping him figure out a bit more about himself.

Beelzebub:

He didn't notice the hair first. He noticed how happier you looked, and that made him smile too. Then you showed off your hair.

He fell in love with you again.

He thinks it looks so sweet on you, he just wants to pet you and he is all awwing, then you tell him about why you cut your hair.

He feels really bad about the idea you'd feel so confused and anguished. He decides then and there he will help you get it over as quickly as you can.

He will be trying out names and pronouns, get you new clothes, getting you aids like binders, he will be doing research, everything he can.

You will have to tell him this takes some time and he can't rush it.

He takes you to work out with him to see if that takes your mind off things, will get you delicious food. Everything to comfort you.

Once you get to an understanding, he will be cheering with you. Your happiness is his prime objective, even if he can't quite understand how you're feeling.

Belphegor:

He is ecstatic about your haircut.

When you cuddle him, if you are the small spoon, your hair is usually got into his nose, so a short hair is way better for that.

If you tell him why you cut your hair, he will have a moment of confusion, then launch on questions.

He wants to know how you think so he can help you out on figuring it out.

Reading can be exhausting to him, so he ends up watching a lot of deviltube videos about transgender people, but will always put your experiences first.

He pretends like he doesn't care, but he would do anything to make you happy. Therefore he's always looking for ways to make you more comfortable about yourself.

Whenever you end up on the spectrum, he will not mind. You're his companion, so he just wants you to be with him, at your happiest and more comfortable.

Can we please have more Callum/Mick/Marcus headcanons in the pro dom au 🥺

My soft trio 🥺

Marcus would absolutely worry about how to dom Callum at first. He has dommed with Mick who is a switch. He has watched Mick dom Callum but Marcus is a little scared he will say or do somethign wrong.

Callum worries at first that this means that Marcus is here just for Mick, especially after they get together as a trio. He's done scenes with them both, but normally their is an experienced dom involced and Marcus tends to let them take the lead with Callum

Mick, forever the levelheaded one of the three of them, notices how nervous they are around each other and sits them all down. Outside of scenes, the three of them are all uddly and Marcus loves nothing more than having Callum in his lap as they make out but its just when they enter a possible scene that things get tense

Marcus admits after a few moments of gentle questioning that he's scared to say the wrong thing or misgender Callum. That he will mess up in the heat of a scene and say something triggering without meaning too and it breaks Callums heart because Marcus cares so much that he's scared to hurt Callum.

Callum would just crawl onto him and cuddle him. Reassuring him that Marcus would never intentioanlly harm him, and that they can start it slow with scening. Callum admitting he was a bit worried that maybe Marcus was supportive in theory of Callum being trans but that he figured out he wasn't attracted to Callum when he saw the scars or his body which has Marcus clinging to him because 'you and Mick are the most beautiful people in the world to me, and I want you two so badly. I'm just scared I'll mess up'

It gets better after that. Mick and Callum gently help guide Marcus through domming Callum, Lance (who Marcus and Mick don't know is trans) sits in under the idea that he's dommed Callum before and can show Marcus how to speak and react to Callum when he is feeling feminine without dismissing Callums identity

After Callums wobble, Marcus admits to Mick one day when Callum is asleep that this terrifies him because this is what he was afraid of at the begining, that he'd say something that hurt Callum and his view of his masculinity and gender and it hurts to see someone make Callum wobble (he even has a few nightmares that it was his fault which Mick helps him through, and later Callum hugs him tight because 'you were never like them even when you were afraid')

You absolutely can ask for Rebel spoilers! As much as I’d like to finish that story out, I know it’s pretty unlikely. But I still have a lot of love for it and am more than happy to share. 

So Aizawa finding out about Izuku being trans would happen more out of necessity than anything. Where the story left off, Hawks had told Inko that he’d figure something out for Izuku’s puberty blockers. That something ends up being the kind of dumb plan to steal them from the clinic where Izuku’s doctor works, since he’d be able to see Izuku’s files and get the right thing. The doctor ends up catching him, but it turns out she’s actually the sibling of one of the Aviary crew folks (the one whose quirk hides the door). So she ends up helping Hawks out, gives him the blockers, etc. 

So as a part of establishing contact with Hawks and Inko, Aizawa finds out that Izuku is trans. By this point, Izuku absolutely trusts Aizawa, Tsukauchi, Dabi, and Jin enough that he’s not really worried about them reacting badly. He does kind of stumble over trying to explain, until he doesn’t have to, because Aizawa very gently tells him “You’re like me.” 

Past that point, I honestly didn’t have any detailed ideas. Things like that tend to develop organically when I write. I know that for Aizawa, it would be a really special thing for him, to be able to give someone the same love and support that he got from his mom. I’m imagining that while Aizawa has met trans students before as a teacher at UA, this would be so different because of him being in a parental role. And while Izuku’s parental figures were already supportive, having someone who is like him in that role would give him that view of what his future can look like. I know for me, I feel a very special kind of way when I see older transmasc folks and think about what that means for me. 

If I think of anything more for this, I’ll come back to this post to add it! This is what has come to mind for now. Thank you for asking and still connecting to a story that I haven’t done anything with for a while now! It does help me feel better about my decision to set stories aside to know that people can still enjoy them either way.

Do you think we can headcanon a character's sexuality regardless of what his creator says about it? Like, If a creator says none of their characters have sexuality, and asks the fans to not "give" it to them, you think Headcanon their characters as lgbts will be disrespectful to their request? Also, do you think the popularity of a story affects people to care about the creator's requests about what not to do with the story, or it depends more on the fandom being toxic?

I don't exactly have context, so I can't really give an answer. I personally find it weird if people get full on offended at LGBT+ headcanons, unless its specifically "This character is a lesbian, but I'm going to headcanon them as bisexual so I can ship them with a man." or "This character is trans but I'm going to headcanon them as cis because I have no brain" because that's pretty disrespectful. BUT for all I know they want their story to be focused on the plot and lore and characters as opposed to shipping, which there's nothing really wrong with. Some people are just protective of their characters, which I can understand. But I have no context, so I really have no idea LOL

As for popularity, I've seen it affect people. But it doesn't affect everyone badly. With any fandom, the bigger it gets, the more kinds of people get into it. So that can also mean some bad eggs get into the fandom. But certain fandoms attract like-minded people. I've seen plenty of fandoms where the majority of people are awful, but the "good ones" keep to their own controlled spaces. How a creator reacts to toxicity within the fandom is also a big factor for what's deemed acceptable behavior. I'm not sure if any of this helps. But that's my feelings on a very vague situation. - Cat

- Eugene used to bind with whatever would do the work cheaply, so mostly bandages, but once he's welcomed into the castle with Rapunzel, he's given access to way more options. He's kinda worried about straight out asking though, and Rapunzel tries to help him, but it's finally Cassandra who comes through and shows him more comfortable ways to bind (because Cass is non-binary 😌) 

- once he knows what he wants exactly, Rapunzel takes into sewing him binders and decorating them 

- I mentioned it in my last post, but Rapunzel would have more difficulties adapting to having lost her hair, since Gothel did her best to make it the only thing that mattered in her femininity. However, having the same hair color as Arianna, and being told by everyone how much she looks like her mom, and having Arianna herself be really supportive of it and of her choices in general do help her gain confidence in her appearance 

- the first time Frederic calls Eugene "son", Eugene cries a little bit. They don't talk about it. Fred is supportive of them both btw, in the "he's a little confused but he's got the spirit" vibe 

- Rapunzel has a hard time not seeking affirmation, since she had been made so dependent on it for eighteen years. The fact that she's given it freely all the time, by Eugene, her family, and everyone around her, helps her a lot, and I can see her straying from the dresses and the pink/purple colours once she feels more comfortable in the fact that they're not necessary for her to be a woman 

- Eugene finds a new joy in taking care of his appearance, and though he had hidden it for years behind the excuse that he had just a big ego, he's glad that none of this is seen as too feminine for him. He's really anxious about the way other people perceives him, and he's also really sensitive about certain things (as in, jokes about his name are REALLY badly taken) but honestly, if anyone criticise him or Rapunzel, someone in the castle is gonna punch them before they have the time to react 

- in the same vein, the episode where Edmund calls Eugene by his birth name is cut short by the fact that Rapunzel tackles Edmund one-minute in. 

- despite their experiences being so different on the surface, Eugene and Rapunzel definitely have a lot in common. They spend long nights talking about the stuff they lived through, and how they both feel like they have to prove themselves for their identity to be valid (and they both think to themselves quietly that they're gonna do everything so the other doesn't feel like that again) 

- okay so I know that in the show everyone's a giant but that means that, compared to them, Eugene is mostly... short. Except that he's actually taller than Rapunzel, and both of them find this really great (Rapunzel is always happy to get on her tiptoe to kiss him) 

- since it's my headcanons and my made-up world, there are things like HRT and top surgery etc. (Historical accuracy is only here when I want her okay) So, between other things, Eugene does have a goatee, and is REALLY proud of it (and still annoys Cassandra by taking care of it with her weapons). 

- Rapunzel discovers that she actually really likes having some make-up on. It's artistic, she likes how it makes her look, she's really happy to be introduced to it 

- Rapunzel also really enjoys learning more about weapons, and she's amazing with a crossbow because I said so. She has a less strict idea of what "typically masculine" stuff is (Gothel mostly demonized masculinity, and made her feel bad for being associated to it, but being separated from society still means that Rapunzel doesn't have the same stereotypes Eugene does), so when she hears about fighting being mostly a masculine activity, she feels a little bad - but Eugene and Cassandra are both here to tell her that's bullshit anyway.

- Eugene and Rapunzel unofficially take under their wings every lgbt kid in Corona and beyond. They really want to help people like they wish they had been helped when they struggled the most, and they're also not afraid to punch assholes if necessary

hi, i like the idea for ur post abt draco being AFAB, but i don’t like harry in it. i don’t like the way harry, who knew draco wanted to be alone, followed after him and let himself into draco’s house and barged into his bathroom. that’s not cute or romantic, it’s harry not giving draco any space. what if draco wasn’t ready for harry to know? idk it just rubs me the wrong way and isn’t a very good example of a healthy relationship

First of all, I want to say thank you for reaching out. I hadn’t thought about the implications of being outed in a non-con situation, so this gave me time to think, and I did reach out to my trans friends to talk this over.

Second, and onto the main part of my reply, Harry’s actions and why he did what he did. 

I want to state that I agree that he entered Draco’s house when he didn’t know if Draco wanted him there or not, and that could be seen as a violation of privacy. The reason he did that is, in my head, this relationship is established and they would have been over each other’s houses quite a bit, so although Harry couldn’t apparate straight inside, it would have been normal for him to come in. 

That being said, the bathroom door is still a barrier. I don’t think I agree that he barged his way in because he did call through before opening it, trying to give Draco the chance to consent, but I 100% recognise and agree it still could have been a situation where Draco wasn’t ready, and my writing even shows that because he tried to say ‘No’ when he realised what Harry was going to do, and I really should have tagged it as a non-con outing, and I apologise for that, I literally just didn’t think of it. 

I want to explain why Harry did what he did. Not justify, mind you, just explain. Firstly, if I saw a friend bleeding and running away from me, I would absolutely follow. In fact, I have been in situations where a friend has been bleeding (and worse) and they’ve told me to leave them alone, and I have forced bathroom doors open, because their safety has been more important to me than their consent. I would rather know that someone wasn’t bleeding out than respect them telling me no. Relationships can be mended when trust is broken, but a person who is wounded badly enough might never heal. 

Secondly, Harry is impulsive. He acts before he thinks and I think this is consistent with his character. When he’s worried about someone, he does something. So I made him do that here. 

It might have been better to give Draco space. This might have just been a quick way to finish my headcanon and move the plot along. But for me it felt real. Like I said, I would act like Harry in this. I have acted like Harry in this. And though this is fanfiction and doesn’t need to be real, I like it to be. I like being able to relate to my characters; whether that’s a good or a bad thing is up to you. 

Finally, and kind of related to that, I come to your point on Harry’s actions not demonstrating a healthy relationship. I’ve already said above some reasons why this could be considered healthy, but really, what I want to say is this. I said I like my characters real and relatable, and honestly, the healthiest relationships I’ve seen still have unhealthy actions in them. 

Now, this does not mean they’re toxic, or abusive, or don’t give their partners space. What this means is humans are messy. We act impulsively, jump in, get the wrong end of the stick, and sometimes fly off the handle. Alternatively, sometimes we sit and think and plan and try to come up with the perfect approach to things, saying we know exactly how someone will feel or react, and get it completely wrong and still end up hurting people despite the fact that doing so was our last intention. I honestly don’t believe there will ever be a relationship that has absolutely nothing in it which could be considered an unhealthy action, an action that violates a person’s boundaries or trust, because new situations are constantly popping up, and because life is stressful. Even personally, I very, very rarely argue with my fiancee, but we still have times where we wrong the other and do things that hurt each other. 

But you know? Those things help us. They hurt, yes, and they make our relationship harder for a while, of course. But they help us communicate. They help us learn how the other works. They help us to know how best to handle situations and respond to one another. We learn from them, and move on to be better. 

Now obviously, not every couple reacts that way, and you are absolutely right, situations like the one in my hc could go the other way and Draco really couldn’t have been ready, and they could have needed an angsty argument and cooling off period (no pun intended). But in real life, that’s what happens with me when a situation arises, and although fanfiction is exactly that, fanfiction, I like my fics real, but fluffy, so I did make it romantic and made sure Harry responded appropriately. I should have made him apologise and possibly have made he and Draco talk about this, but I didn’t think about it, I was enjoying the fluff, and I’d already made him ask how to help so I didn’t think I needed anything else. My bad. 

Like I said, thanks for reaching out, I’m sorry it rubbed you the wrong way. I hope you can understand why I wrote it the way I did, and I 100% respect your right to have a different opinion. I’ll try to remember possible implications my writing raises in the future <3

Sexuality in the Wizarding World was never truly adressed in the Harry Potter series (at least not yet, but honestly at this rate maybe it never will), but how conservative do you believe they are on that topic? And going from the headcanon that Draco is gay (though it's debatably canon subtext wise), how do you think his parents would react if he came out? And the other Slytherins?

Given that there are no “on screen” canon LGBTQ+ characters, the most logical assumption is that pervasive prejudice and bigotry incentivizes people who fall into any of those categories to hide their sexuality. HOWEVER, there is no good reason for this and I think it is more a product of JKR being problematic, rather than a product of good storytelling. 

Furthermore, I am so tired of fantasy stories where magic is somehow way more realistic than a world without heteronormativity. I mean, you’re telling me that we can have dragons and invisibility cloaks and magic wands, but anything other than being straight and cis is too much of a reach? Nope. Not having it. That take is so tired. 

Also it doesn’t even make sense for the Harry Potter world. Magic should mean that concepts of gender and sexuality should be way more fluid than in the muggle world. For example, if someone is trans, magic should make transitioning so simple it’s a non issue. 

While I think you could make an argument for homophobia in the magical world, I’m honestly just not here for it. I prefer to imagine that prejudice based on gender/sexuality/gender presentation is a non issue in the magical world, and that JKR just didn’t do a good job portraying this because of her own attitudes. 

I definitely read Draco as gay, but I prefer to think that this wouldn’t really be a problem for him. (I certainly think there are grounds for the opposite reading, but I generally don’t prefer it for the reasons I’ve detailed above). We never really see him flirting with or dating girls. And we would know if he had a serious girlfriend because Harry would definitely notice. I mean, he even notices the contents of the care packages Draco gets from home. 

Draco is a pretty careful person when he really needs to be and he also cares a great deal about his image. Therefore, I think if he were hiding his sexuality because of shame and/or his parents’ attitudes, he would probably try to date girls a fair amount in order to protect his image. This doesn’t happen. The most we get is Harry hating on Pansy because he thinks she wants Draco to date her. 

Also remember that time in Half-Blood Prince when Harry’s like “what’s Draco doing sneaking up to the castle with a couple of girls during a Quidditch match???!” and no one suggests the obvious. As far as I’m concerned that’s because everyone knows he wouldn’t be doing anything sexual or romantic with them, because he’s just not interested in women and everyone knows. 

Far more problematic for Draco, is the object of his affections. I think there is a lot of evidence to support the idea that Draco has feelings for Harry Potter and copes very badly with this because he believe he shouldn’t feel this way. Regardless of their views on homosexuality, there is no way that his parents would see Harry Potter as an appropriate romantic partner. Harry rejects everything Draco has been taught to believe in and stands for all the things that Draco thinks should (and ultimately will) be destroyed. 

Draco’s family are inextricably tied to Voldemort and his ideologies. And one of Voldemort’s top priorities is killing Harry. I think Draco feels incredibly conflicted because on the one hand he has been taught to believe that his father and the ideologies he supports are good, but on the other hand, he has feelings for a person who rejects all that and who everyone on his side of the war wants to kill. 

Furthermore, Draco is spoiled and used to being adored and respected. Harry is not impressed with his fame, nor is he intimidated by him. Harry stands up to him and chooses to befriend people Draco has been taught to view as inferior. His continued feelings for Harry make this rejection sting even more, and add to his reasons to lash out. He doesn’t want to care for Harry, and resents the fact that Harry does not treat him the way he thinks he “should” or accept the views that would make it possible for him to be a viable object of Draco’s affections. And yet he can’t stop thinking about or noticing him. And I feel like that plays a big role in their obsessive rivalry.  

Ultimately he does come to realize that Harry is right and that he has thrown his lot in with the wrong side of the war. He is horrified by the reality of Voldemort’s reign, and he risks his life to protect Harry at Malfoy Manor both because he realizes that Harry must succeed and also, I believe, because he loves him.

lets talk about trans allison

bc there arent enough trans tfc headcanons and its like 6 in the morning and i had this idea and its not thought out or anything but here you go:

i feel like this has two possible ways to go:

a) her parents accept her/pay for her transition

b) they dont bc of expectations and shit

for scenario a) her parents probably outwardly let her transition and use all the right pronouns in public to keep up appearances but dont really care for allisons well being, they make her quit exy ("its a boy thing and if you're a girl now you have to stop playing")

for scenario b) they tell her about how bad the public will react and how they need a male heir for their company, allison still signs with the foxes and meets trans girl renee who helps her to present more in the way she wants to present (at first only for herself later in front of the whole team), she's out to the team pretty soon and starts going by allison, she pays for transitioning with her parents money, coming out to the public is weird and her parents pretending to be supportive is weird
