The complaint bounces off against the grey walls of the cell Raph is currently stuck in. Sitting on a bench just barely big enough for him, head in his hands, sighing out in irritation. The guards down the hallway don’t even blink at his words. 

A voice echoes from afar, a languid tone that could not care less about the situation she got them stuck into. “And that would have been so much more boring.”

Raph shoots a scowl at the iron bars even though Casey can’t see it from her cell. “I’m supposed to be at home right now with my brothers, exactly how the hell am I supposed to explain how I ended up here of all places?”

“To be fair, you did have an opportunity to tell them.” Casey calls back to him. “You just blew it.” 

Raph groans out loud, pressing his palms into his eyes. “The only reason I blew it is because you wouldn’t stop screaming about your Miranda rights at the officers while I was on my one phone call.”

“I deserve my Miranda rights read to me!” She replies back, just as vehemently as half an hour ago when she was this close to choking the gargoyle Yokai was trying to handcuff her. “I have a right to an attorney, they need to bring me one, they can’t just arrest me like this!”

“You also have the right to remain fucking silent.” Raph growls out. “Which you really should have done. The three of them barely listen to what I say on a good day, they definitely didn’t understand a word with you yelling down the line. And I really, really wish you hadn’t wasted your one phone call on the HCPD Commissioner.”

A loud bang of a metal ring on iron bars. He winces. “The guy needs to know how unqualified the officers in his precincts are! One of them tried to put their hand in my pants!”

“They were trying to search your pockets for assault weapons because you wouldn’t go with them without resisting.”

“Of course I wasn’t going to go with them without resisting! And by the way, that’s called frisking and it is illegal without reasonable suspicion.”

“‘Without reasonable susp–’, Casey, you had seven knives on you!”

“And that was my smallest combat kit! All you have is your tonfas and two shurikens, that’s pathetic!”...

I am simultaneously deliriously in love with the ending of Loki season 2 and absolutely loathe it

On one hand…Shakespearean tragedy at its finest, essentially circling back to Loki’s original Thor 2011 character arc by reversing it, and Loki has literally ascended to godhood. In the end, Loki’s ultimate selfless sacrifice was to sit upon the highest throne in the multiverse, and that to me is tragically ironically beautiful

On the other hand…Loki being alone makes me want to burn Marvel studios to the ground and do other unspeakable things
