We could make Sqq a transformer in his past life. Like optimus prime sorta transformer. Cybertronian.
He'd be the only surviving seeker (winged guy) on the autobots side (I don't know all the canons but I don't think they have, like, any). Pretty young when the war started - unfathomably ancient for humans, the kiddie of the group to them.
And he arrives on earth. Discovers the Internet. Immediately gets hooked on critiquing stupid Web novels in every language, which being a sentient machine he can do at great speed without forgetting anything. Decides to read the final chapter during a battle because he's so close to the end and airplane had better pull SOMETHING good. Is so infuriated (distracted) by the ending he messes up and immediately gets killed by some low level decepticon. After FIVE MILLION years of war he gets offed by some loser over a stupid human story that wasn't even very good. He dies SO furious.
And then he gets reborn a human.
He is, as the kids say, big mad.
How by Primus do they do anything??

Scene Awsten Hair (And some bonus clothes)
While I made hair for Awsten before, I was never satisfied with the shape of the scene hair, and for a long time I felt this base mesh from Backyard Stuff, which I kept thinking was from Cool Kitchen Stuff, for awhile, would be perfect. But the bangs went the wrong way, so I decided to mirror the mesh in Blender, as that is like the only hair related thing I can modify, but then the UV mapping on the back was off, if you wanted to know why I screenshotted a lot of low angles, so I fixed that. And I'm really picky about which direction bangs fall. :)
Due to it being a mesh edit, it should not require any packs, tho due to the UV mapping editing, this hair is just standalone. Not to fret! In case you REALLY want this hair mirrored with the default textures and UV mapping, I made that too.
Pictured above is how Awsten normally treats me in this game. Due to how I made all this hair for him, I am able to have outfits for him and up to 4 different hairs with all different colors. The tricolor I use all the time, red & black for a few specific outfits, blue for just one, and now scene for two. This only matters to me really, but in case you're like me and like your Sims to change hair style and color a lot.

As a bonus, as I'm never gonna get to share these otherwise, I made some shirt and shoe recolors for him, the shoes and long stripes shirt are extra swatches onto vanilla stuff, the striped t-shirt is standalone. I spent like an hour on the damn shoes, I am sharing them. Oh and fingernails too. Those come with a second swatch for Jack, so two swatches. All should be base game. The shoes and tshirt come with extra swatches, the long sleeved shirt just has the one.

Also: there are two characters' birthdays! Stated in the manga! It's two more than in FMA!
Of course, the only ones who have birthdays (a year, a month, and a day!) are background characters, but still.
Makoto's birthday is (I'm 90% sure) a Star Wars reference, because Arakawa couldn't pass up the chance to include a Star Wars reference (valid and respectable). But is Kenichi's birthday a reference to anything? Or a wordplay in Japanese?

Before I say my thoughts, I want to preface that sharing/reblogging the work of artists you love is one of the best non-monetary ways to support us. Thatâs really indisputable. Word-of-mouth alone has done wonders for my career. I understand why not getting the reception on your work that you want can be discouraging and upsetting. Itâs really hard out here and I donât want to downplay that.Â
That being said, I donât care if you follow me just to lurk. I donât care if you just exclusively âlikeâ my art. I donât care if you reblog without putting any comments in the tags. My output is not correlative to how many notes my posts get. I want you to like/share/comment on my work because you want to, and not because of some perceived social obligation.Â
I appreciate anyone who comes across my art and gets something out of it for any reason, and I donât expect anything in return for that. I see a lot of posts on this topic, and it makes me uncomfortable that people might avoid just liking or lurking because of a perception that I would be mad or upset because they didnât reblog it. I want my work, as silly and not-groundbreaking as it can be, to resonate earnestly, and I want the expression of that resonation to be earnest as well.Â

how it feels getting trapped in a sleep paralysis/false awakening loop for 40 minutes while trying to take a nap right before having to make a phone call
#this made less and less sense the more i worked on it and the more the memory faded#didn't see a demon or anything (couldn't open my eyes) but hallucinated for the first time ever someone?#presumed it was my friend or sibling or something someone who could feasibly get in my room#poking me in the ribs bc they thought it was funny (it was not)#was going to try to find an emoji or one of those meme faces but i don't think it would have worked as well#so hurrah first my art im posting exclusively to this blog#literally the ONLY thing in one of the loops that indicated it being a dream was where in the previous loop i moved my water bottle#and it was in the same place that i moved it into the previous loop#the fuckiest thing was i was trying to take deep breaths to not panic but i couldn't control my lungs or airways or anything#so it was a lot like when you surface from water and there's that vacuum and you try to suck in air#but there's nothing there so there's that massive disconnect of what you expect to what you feel and ofc that makes it worse#but also when i was trying to exhale and my body (on autopilot) was inhaling#that phone call went surprisingly well considering i was like only 40% sure it was even real#i'm like still only 60% this is real some of those loops were scarily realistic#yikes#i uh don't like this feeling#i really didn't like that#sleep paralysis#false awakening loop#eggsistential draws#my art#eggsistential speaks#tag rant
