Yoshi's House And Why Yoshi Can Be Found On Peach's Castle Grounds

So in Super Mario Bros. 4 Super Mario World we get to see the Star Yoshi's House. Eventually in Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island which takes place in the past we get to see an early version of his house. It lacks the chimney and all because he hasn't hatched yet and taken up residences. This also confirms the Island from SMB4SMW and SM2YI are the same Island.

So a little detail that can go overlooked in Super Mario Odyssey is an floating Island located on Peach's Castle Grounds. When you go to it it is labeled Yoshi's House and when you look at it, it's clear this ti the same house from SMB4SMW. This means Yoshi had his house uprooted sometime after SMRPG and moved it to Peach's Castle Grounds.

This also explains why Yoshi seems to always be hanging around Peach's Castle, it's because he lives nearby. This also explains why Yoshi and his friends are living in the Mushroom Kingdom. His friends must have also moved to the Mushroom Kingdom as well.

“Dad?” 

Splinter is currently sitting on his bed, preparing to turn in for the night. He puts away the pillow he was fluffing up and turns to look towards the doorway of his room. 

“Yes, Blue?” 

Leo doesn’t answer, instead shuffling next to Splinter and sitting down on the floor, leaning his side against the bed. He lifts his face to look up at him. 

“I’m… just tired, dad,” he says, attempting to make light of it with a smile but his voice breaks in the end and that’s all it takes for Splinter to pull Leo into his lap, and as if on instinct the boy buries his face into the rat’s robes. He sobs, and Splinter feels his heart twinge with yet another crack. 

“Oh, oh baby Blue, it is alright,” he murmurs, petting his son’s shell and the back of his head. He knows Leo hasn’t been sleeping again and he had hoped it would pass, like it always does, but for it to go on so long that it gets this bad… Now, this settles it. No more training, no patrols, no strenuous activities aside from rhythm games for at least a week. 

All of his kids could benefit from a break, actually, and Splinter is glad that this is a fact – Leo won’t be singled out if they all are on a holiday of sorts. Brilliant. He knows he’s never been the perfect father, far from it, but he’s trying to do his best for his children and this time is no different. First thing tomorrow morning, he is going to tell his family of their impromptu vacation, and then take them out to Run of the Mill for pizza. 

It’s a great plan. 

Surfacing back to the present from his thoughts, Splinter realises that his musings must have taken longer than he thought because the turtle in his lap is now snoring quietly. With a soft chuckle, Splinter reaches back to grab his comforter and gently wraps it around Leo’s shoulders. He doesn’t mind acting as a pillow for his blue son and while he himself would be uncomfortable like that, partly on the floor, he’s witnessed enough turtle piles to know that the position is no hardship for Leo. 

He keeps petting the blanketed shell, leans back and lets his butt fall asleep, too. 

Just how he likes it.

does anyone have recommendations for the best way to get outside and move around a neighborhood with a chronic fatigue condition? i can't do a lot of walking, and biking is even more effort, but motorized scooters are typically $300-$400+ for something decent and aren't really an option either.

i just wanna get outside more for the benefit of being outside, and i'd like to play games like pokemon go and pikmin bloom while i do, but i'm not sure if there's a way to go about it. i can't really drive anymore and wouldn't want to use gas money on this, and driving is typically too fast anyway and messes with the games above.

any ideas would be really appreciated! 🙇‍♂️

So Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights 2023 has a Monsters Unmasked Haunted House. Considering how it makes Phantom of the Opera and Jekyll and Hyde more violent than the source material, imagine if my Phantom!Krupp and @artistcaptainbendy's SP!Hyde!Krupp went through that and assumed it was going to be fun, only to be in for a nasty surprise. They are going to need to go to Nintendo World (and maybe stop at the chocolate shop emporium) to get over the trauma.

Also there was free space, so I had the two go on double dates with their respective Ediths.

Can't remember if i've said this before, but when The Road to Hell yoshi was little he liked to use whatever he could find around the Lair to make replicas of real cities. The Turtles have a photo album full of them.

Those photos comes in pairs though, because as soon as Yoshi showed his uncles his handiwork, he'd then destroy the city Godzilla style. He had one toy car that was very chewed up, because he liked to pick it up and say "help me!" in a high pitch voice, then shove it in his mouth, shake it, then spit it out. Once he was done destroying the city, one of his uncles took an "after" photo

Leo proposed they stop letting yoshi watch monster movies, raph thought it was a funny, Donnie was mostly impressed by the attention to detail, and mikey kept making suggestions for the next city yoshi could build.
