LIFE UPDATE!

October has been insane. What with the launch of the pillows, trying to keep doing other art pieces, fufilling orders, my day job, an extra night gig, health insurance shenanigans AND a car crash (We're okay but god damn its time consuming to deal with everything) I haven't been able to post much. I got started on 3 other pieces and they've just been sitting in limbo. 2 for the store and one for Inscryptober. Also THE P03 PILLOWS ARE SOLD OUT AND HAVE ALL BEEN SHIPPED TO THEIR NEW HOMES!!! <333 Thank you all so much for your support!! I am absolutely FLOORED that people actually bought this stuff from me. Like... it's seriously mind blowing that people like my things enough to buy them. I know I say this all the time but thank you, THANK you all so so much encouraging me to keep pursuing my art <3 ! I really hope ya'll enjoy them!!

Always fun when you discover a dope-ass band, only to learn that they were a one album wonder from the time you were in high school 🙄 (I'm referring to Ocean is Theory here.) What I wouldn't give to have have more of that sound, between them, Anberlin, Ivoryline, Seabird.

At least Acceptance came back for a bit. Does Tooth and Nail have anything good at the moment aside from Off Road Minivan? They kinda sound like Brand New. They're neat.

Before you scold me about how amazing of a father RiseSplinter is compared to 2012Splinter, I would like to helpfully remind you that RiseSplinter’s sons’ spent years chasing Lou’s validation and Yoshi is continually depicted causally telling his boys that he is proud of them as well as the fact that even if Donnie did make him more retromutageon, he would rather remain with them as a mutant down in the sewers than return to his previous life as a human.

Examples? Well-

Season 1, Ep 13: I, Monster

“Sensei? Are you sure you’re okay?”

“I am fine. Thanks to you. You did well, my son.”

“We did pretty good too, huh?”

“Yes. I am proud of you all.”

Season 2, Episode 16: The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman

I’ve gone on and on about how Leo wants to be who Splinter finds is the ideal person (which just so happens to be Splinter’s ideal version of himself) but I have yet to really touch upon how Donnie is the one who most directly parallels Splinter himself to an honestly shocking degree, Raph’s taking from Splinter’s teachings and parenting has resulted in an unhealthy mixup in the different dynamics of a family versus a team, and Mikey is the one who is simultaneously the most focused on family and the most intrinsically himself which both leads to his better grasp of mystics and honestly what just might be the healthiest dynamic with Splinter.

#rottmnt #rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles #rottmnt headcanons #it’s late so I’m just speaking from the top of my head haha #anyway yeah #the Donnie Splinter parallels are crazyyy tho #I always see ppl say Leo is just like splinter but no Leo WANTS to be like splinter but he’s more a Karai #meanwhile Donnie exhibits many of Splinter’s traits and behaviors #basically Leo has taken on many perceived Lou Jitsu attributes #including his stance his most flaunted skills and his overall demeanor #while honestly being more of a quiet and determined soul at his core that is most like Karai - with the same hope and love for family #we see the more Karai aspects of Leo throughout the series but most blatantly with Future Leo’s portrayal and how Casey Jr talks about him #Donnie though - rather than Lou Jitsu he has many Hamato Yoshi attributes #it’s funny too because Donnie ALSO parallels Draxum in many ways #(you know who else does albeit to a much lighter extent? May I present to you Sparkly Mario and Luigi! 😍❤️✨💚✨

These were part of a kids show that took place this afternoon at a department store from my town. They have this massive Christmas bow decoration on top of the building, and every year they host a show for kids, along with fireworks and other surprises, and this year the kids show was about Super Mario Bros. and it was the cutest shit 💖

The story is simple: everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom is getting ready for Christmas, until Bowser steals the Christmas Star, and without it, Santa Claus won't be able to see his way and no one will get their gifts, so Mario, Luigi and their friends must stop Bowser and retrieve the star.

They eventually manage to capture Bowser, just when Santa arrives where they are. The King of the Koopas reveals that he stole the star in revenge because since he was a kid, he always waited for Santa, but the latter never arrived; this was because Bowser has always been in the Naughty List due to his actions always endangering others, but this time Santa reveals that someone sent him a letter talking nice things about Bowser, and asking Santa to give him a gift this year. So Santa gives Bowser a cute microphone because he loves singing (like in the movie, lol), so Bowser thanks him. The twist? It was Luigi! It was freakin' Luigi the one who sent Santa the letter saying all of that nice shit about Bowser! It was him who sacrificed his right to a gift so Bowser could get one of his own this Christmas! And what does Bowser do when he learns this? JUST LOOK!

THEY HUGGED! These people knew what they were doing, hahahaha 😍😍😍🥹💚

Look at how happy my boi is after his good deed 🥹💚💚💚💚💚 He deserved the world.

Oh! And this has to be my favorite picture from the show:

The actor wearing the costume made sure to make Luigi extra cute for this show (and he was the one with the best dance moves too.) I also love how it looks as if Bowser is looking at Luigi with a huge smile. Everything in this picture is so cute and perfect 😍🥹💚✨💚✨💚✨

Even though he is a hero, Mario has nightmares and pain from the battles he fought, but he doesn't want anyone to know so they don't get worried and call him weak.

He has a passion for cats, in this case it reminded me of Bowser's fury.

He is very shy when he is with someone he loves, in this case he blushes when he is with Peach or Geno.

He doesn't like Haru, not because he's Peach's ex, but because he's annoying and mean.

Mario has asked himself several times about his sexuality, even though he is bisexual, sometimes he feels like he is pansexual.

He loves talking to Yoshi about how they met.
