Tell us more about the Colombia NTs 👀 please
I have a wonderful thing about the colombia wnt.
Gay. So Gay. So Many Gays. And empowered as FUCK
Yoreli Rincon, gay af, plays in Internazionale Milan, seemingly banned from the NT for the foreseeable future, has a whole fiance who plays for the Venezuela NT. She hot hot (Yore is on the left and her fiancee, Jay is on the right)
Tumblr media
Natalia Gaitan, believed to have hoes in area codes. Jk, my capi is an icon. SHE HAD LEUKEMIA AS A KID and went through a full recovery to kick ass in the Woso world. Currently on extended injury bc of an ACL tear but, she's fucking awesome BUT I MEAN LOOK AT HER!!!
Tumblr media
Daniela Montoya, on top of being one of my favorite players active rn, also gay as fuck. Also a twin? what's with woso and twins. But her and her girlfriend are super cute, her girlfriend plays with her in Junior, she posts adorable things for Dani's birthday, they are eachother's biggest fans, it's AMAZING.
Tumblr media
Leicy Santos, smol and mighty. I firmly believe she's gonna end up dating half the Atleti Squad, though I really root for her and Deyna (even if Deyna is also like, a baby, but still).
Tumblr media
Catalina Usme, fucking CANNONS for legs, woman can and will rip nets off goals given the chance, absolutely amazing player, also big gay vibe but also gives off the vibe that she just supports the gays, who knows
Tumblr media
Isabella Echeverri, went through a whole controversy about maybe having bought her place in the NT, great fucking player though. either a lipstick lesbian or the straightest straight, I really cannot tell.
Tumblr media
Carolina Arias, HAS A WHOLE ASS TATTOO SLEEVE AND THE GAYEST SMILE IN THE WORLD BRO, SHES SO GAY, AND SO GOOD AT SOCCER, I LOVE HER
Tumblr media
Lady Andrade, Y'all Americans have beef with her because she pissed you off by punching Abby Wambach, we wanted to throw her a party. She calls it like it is, if everyone had the same resources as the uswnt, the US would not be as dominant (not as bad as the men who are the laughing stock of the world but still), I'm pretty sure she's straight but her vibe with Carolina Arias is WONDERFUL
Tumblr media
There are a lot of players in this team and they're all amazing. Nicole Regnier who recently came out of retirement, Melissa Ortiz, former player (actually signed for NY Flash for a bit) and current sports caster, Catalina Perez, goalkeeper extraordinaire who actually played for a university in Miami, Damiela Caracas, Manuela Vanegas, Orianica Velasquez, I can literally go on for ages.
And I stand by the Lady Andrade thing. If the federation gave the girls as much support as they do the guys, we'd be fucking ballers. All of South America is full of talent, amazing dedicated hardworking players who are fighting against insurmountable odds. They're literally RUNNING full throttle at a wall that refuses to crumble. These women have been fighting for years for every fucking inch, and I love them so much. They're fighting a hard fight and I'll support them in everything they do.
STAN SOUTH AMERICAN TEAMS. THERE'S SO MUCH TALENT THAT Y'ALL WOULD ENJOY SO MUCH! IT'S NOT JUST BRAZIL DOWN THERE, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY BRAZILIANS MAKE IT HERE. SO MANY OF OUR PLAYERS ARE IN YOUR COLLEGE TEAMS AND IN EUROPE AND THEY DESERVE TO BE STANNED TOO!!!!

WoSo madness: Pan-American Games
If you enjoyed the WWC, give a watch to the Pan-American games! They're surrounded by bullshit controversy right now but, God dammit the girls need all the support they can get. The women's tournament includes CONCACAF (North America, the Caribbean and Central America each gets one, Canada and the US gave their spot up to concentrate on the World Cup, leaving Mexico) and CONMEBOL (selected from the 3-5th best performers in Copa America and the host nation)
Some of the biggest names in South American football continue to be banned/veto'd/overlooked for their national teams because they dare call their federations on their shit. Most recent victims of this bullshit are Argentinian players Estefania Banini (captain of the team that played the World Cup), Belén Potassa, Ruth Bravo, Gaby Garton, Sole Jaimes, and Florencia Bonsegundo (who reportedly refused to sign in solidarity) who voiced their anger during the World Cup. These athletes had to dispel rumors of injuries and club commitments to expose the corruption of the AFA, and it's utter bullshit.
On a personal note I continue to be outraged that Yoreli Rincon is still banned from Colombia's NT. What technical strategy includes banning arguably the best #10 in the country escapes me. (for Men's soccer context, it's the equivalent of leaving James Rodríguez/Leo Messi/Neymar Jr out of their NTs) The federation recently lifted the bullshit ban they had on Daniela Montoya (arguably our best midfielder and pivoting point for the whole squad), but I'm sure it includes some kind of gag clause.
The best thing we can do is show some outrage, give the nt squads support when they need it, and watch/attend games whenever possible for the clubs these girls play for!
Martha is the loudest voice we have in South America, but it's such a tragedy. All other voices are constantly silenced and slapped down with bullshit excuses and it needs to end. These girls shouldn't have to fight against their federations to play professionally.
SO LONG STORY SHORT! SUPPORT THE PAN-AMERICAN GAMES AND THE AMAZING WOMEN WHO ARE GOING OUT THERE TO DO WHAT THEY LOVE AGAINST INSURMOUNTABLE ODDS AND CRAPPY CONDITIONS!

The girls from the colombian national futbol (soccer 🙄) team just won panamerican gold despite:
The women's league being cancelled an then re opened due to the backlash earlier this year
A sexual harrasment scandal with girls from the U-17 reporting innapropiate behavior from their coach
The sports minister saying that futbol turned girls into lesbians.
Yoreli Rincon, the BEST colombian player not getting called to play only because she is a lesbian.
They got us gold, something the men's team has never been able to do, despite having 100 times more support than them.
My girls deserve the world an more ❤

what are you thoughts of iffhs south american (or latin america) team of the decade?
Tumblr media
if you think my first reaction other than "oh dang that's a LOT of Brazilians, good for them!" was "ITS YORELI RINCON!!!!!!!!!!" you'd be right 😂
I think it's interesting that some players who were banned by their national teams made this team. That's one way to see that the federations really out here FUCKING UP.
Bc I am the way i am and I can't write short posts, have this here
Banini is one of the Argentinian recently banned for demanding payment for Argentina's tournament performance and the lack of support from the Federation.
Yoreli is arguably the best female soccer player in Colombia, also famously banned for helping her teammates demand better conditions and payment for tournament performance (she was also marked as persona nongrata for calling the league on their bullshit for taking Atletico Hulia's league cup win money and giving them to the men's team)
I don't think it's any secret that Marta might be the greatest female soccer player in the world, if not one of the best soccer players in the world. She's broken barriers, become an icon for equality, a leader for the sport, she's incredibly skilled, I can't give her more credit if I tried.
I mean.... Formiga is 42 fucking years old and she is still kicking dude. She's in France kicking ass but she's been in Sweden, had time in the NWSL, she has 200 caps in the NT. Frankly Formiga will retire whenever the hell she feels like it, or she'll drop dead on the pitch at age 90 still showing the kids how it's done. However it may be, Formiga is AMAZING.
I could go through everyone but, these women are all amazing and accomplished and have struggled with their NTs to get recognition for their skill, the sport, and so the future generations can play the game they love without having to struggle like they did.
Of course I would love to see some other players here (I would've loved to see Daniela Montoya somewhere in there since she'll probably retire, but I can't deny that Erika and Carla Guerrero have earned their place too).
Overall I like it! I'm hopeful that the next time a team of the decade happens, it'll include players from more varied federations who are finally receiving the support they deserve (and, as a proud Colombian, hopefully I'll see more of my girls here)
Your IFFHS South America Team of the Decade
GK - Christiane Endler 🇨🇱
Defenders - Tamares 🇧🇷, Carla Guerrero 🇨🇱, Erika 🇧🇷, Fabiana 🇧🇷
Midfield - Estefania Banini 🇦🇷, Debinha 🇧🇷, Formiga 🇧🇷
Forwards - Marta 🇧🇷, Christiane 🇧🇷, Yoreli Rincon 🇨🇴
That would be 7 Brazilians, 2 Chileans, 1 Argentinian and 1 Colombian player.
Here's hoping for many more country's in 10yrs!

The US flag which opens this episode is distinctly … off. It’s actually a blend of the current flag and Dreyfuss Corp’s logo. That can’t be good. Neither is it good when we discover Malcolm (Jeremy Davies) is interviewing a considerably older, manacled and damaged Ichabod Crane (Thomas Mison). As Crane is dragged away, Malcolm is awakened by Jobe (Kamar de los Reyes), and he relays his vision of running America in far better fashion.
Molly (Oona Yaffe) and Crane are at a location to see a star – Logan McDonald (Robbie Kay) They wrestle over his cell phone. There’s a lovely little play on The Who’s “My Generation” which mystifies Molly, but amuses Diana (Janina Gavankar) and me. Logan arrives, making Molly’s day by taking a selfie with her, and then he promptly passes out while mysterious runes show up traced in fire on his arm.
Back in Chez Thomas, they have installed security, both standard and mystical. Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) places a rune in the kitchen to protect them. She asks if she can spend time with Molly.
Alex (Rachel Melvin) and Jake (Jerry MacKinnon) decide to give a dating app a try and are supposed to meet their dates at a local bar. Alex’s date is exceptionally sweaty and apparently juvenile, as he shows off a video that he just watched. Alex unceremoniously dumps him and, as she leaves, her sweaty date passes out. Jake, on the other hand, although stood up, has a way cool hat. Jake also lets the bartender know he’s got Alex’s back.
Jake is clearly a germophobe, although who could blame him? At the hospital, they run into Crane, who came in to check on Logan. Alex’s sweaty date utters a creepy, growly statement and the spontaneously combusts, taking some poor nurse with him.
Back in the vault, the team discusses that there are many of these cases appearing all over DC. Crane is reminded of a prior outbreak of illness, coinciding with a bunch of fires. They have a record by Paul Jennings (Zae Jordan), an amazing individual who took care of people who had “fire flu.” Jennings identified that the plague was actually being spread by reading a pamphlet. Alex remembers that Sweaty Date had watched a truly viral video by Logan MacDonald. Diana, in a panic, calls Jenny and Molly to make sure that Molly has not watched the video.
Jenny is working with Molly to help her see her path.
Jake follows Alex and sees her breath steaming. He can tell that Alex watched the video and she’s infected.
Crane tries to get Washington residents’ attention by loudly proclaiming in public. Not successfully.
Back in the Vault, Alex ducks Jake and the team by going in the tunnels to hide. She hears a voice and heads towards it. Although panicking, Jake is helped by Crane to focus and find Paul Jennings’ notebook. It turns out that Jennings was part of a team of four: made up of Davy Crockett (Daniel Parvis), Samuel Wilson (Rick Espaillat) and Sacajawea (Dayana Rincon). The demon is identified as a djinn (or, as we are more familiar with, a genie). The A-team studied and determined that they needed to track the demon, and they called up a storm to save Washington. Sam Wilson died, but Jake is determined that Alex will not suffer the same fate.
In the tunnels, there is a room with many cylinders. The djinn, wearing an outfit, is calling the infected to burn for him, and shows flames surrounding his face.
Jenny and Molly look at the items Jenny’s collected and Jenny explains that this is a way of identifying her path. There is no wrong choice, but Jenny is very relieved when Molly chooses the bowl, which symbolizes the Oracle. Molly can see into people’s souls. Molly runs the pestle around the edge of the bowl and falls into a trance. In her vision, she sees the aged and chained Crane.
Crane is determined and thinks it’s his role to Witness the curse and so he chooses to view the video, but Jake has already watched it. Jake experiences a vision and can tell where Alex is. Jake is adamant that they save Alex and asks that they maintain the integrity of his toy collection if he dies. They go in, seeing both Logan and Alex. Diana is able to inject Alex with the cure, but Jake is drawn ever closer to the fire collector. Crane strips two power cables and, as Alex knocks Jake aside, electrocutes the monster. This breaks his hold over the crowd.
Alex is incredibly touched that Jake saved her. Crane and Diana come in and Jake shows them the picture of the A-team that he has located. Crane is subdued. He shows Diana that he has a letter of marque putting him in charge of the A-team’s (the Vault’s) Agency and he’s very worried he will end up getting them killed. But Diana reminds him that it’s really leadership.
The new team takes a selfie using the “cheese” of yore, which is actually “prunes.” Jenny warns Diana that Molly saw Crane in a vision which frightened her and that he was old and tired and very afraid. They are sure Dreyfuss is behind this. Dreyfuss is in his lair, designing the new Dreyfuss American flag. We see that Dreyfuss recovered Logan, who is still altered and is going to be a secret weapon.
Grade B+
This episode brought forth a new storyline of far future Dreyfuss and future Crane, who appears to be worse for wear. It would seem that it’s not useless for Molly to see this future, meaning she must be able to alter it. It was interesting to get the background on  Jennings’ team, and to see the care that every one of the current team shares for each other. I continue to appreciate that Agent Thomas trusts Crane and, more importantly, trusts Molly with Jenny. Alex and Jake very firmly bonded this episode. The question is – will it remain strongly platonic? I think they see themselves more as “brothers in arms” than “lovers in arms.” Interestingly, Molly has seen this corporate future, and so has Dreyfuss, and Jenny has shared this with Diana, but it doesn’t appear anyone has told Crane! I’m guessing this will come back to haunt them.
Next episode: Child’s Play airs Friday, March 3, 2017, at 9 pm on Fox
Sleepy Hollow (S04E08) “Sick Burn” The US flag which opens this episode is distinctly ... off. It's actually a blend of the current flag and Dreyfuss Corp's logo.

I love how the FCF posts "the players who've worn the #10 for Colombia" and the comments are CRAWLING with "WHERE'S YORELI RINCON? SHE WORE THE 10 FOR US, WHERE IS SHE!?" My people are so righteously salty, I love us.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And no one can say it better than THE #10 herself
Tumblr media
"4 South American tournaments, 4 world cups, 1 Olympics, 3 Copa America's, 2 Bolivarianos, 2 centroamericanos, 2 panamericanos"
La más crack 🙌🏼🔥 (I'm not bashing Leicy Santos or saying she doesn't deserve to wear the 10. I am saying that Yoreli may still be one of the best soccer players born in Colombia, and she doesn't deserve to have been barred from playing with the NT or to have all her hard work and accomplishments erased by the federation)
