Here is this ARMY doing what we "Jokers" are dubbed to do which is speculating Jimin and Jungkook's relationship being more than platonic. However while we get comments about being jokes and crazy...

... They get this as response. The double standards in this fandom I can't 🙄. Like not only that but the engagement is crazy as well for something that has no valuable prove whatsoever.

Oh my... sharing or wearing the same shirt allows for ARMYs to conclude that Namjoon is indeed in a gay relationship so why is it when we do the same for Jimin and Jungkook; we are considered delusional.

Jikook has done more than just sharing the same shirt. Jimin went to bed in Jungkook's sweater which the other wore the whole day while carrying out his schedules for the day. But they are the ones boxed as brothers.

ARMYs are insufferable. They legit chose which members in the band are allowed to be suspected as Queer and who are not. Suspecting Jimin and Jungkook to be Queer in this fandom means you have to be skinned alive but hey Namjoon bi king, go off tongue technology Min Yoongi and bisexual icon Jung Hoseok I guess.

It a shame really especially for someone who has showed so much of their identity like Park Jimin to be shunned to heterosexuality because the fandom has such a mindset. Or just because accepting Jimin for anything but straight acknowledges that Jimin's relationship to Jungkook can actually be more than just platonic. Everything Jimin has done from ID: Chaos to Face means nothing to ARMY because they rather sit down and fascinate over the girl in the like crazy MV and the she/her lyrics to songs he has no writing credits on.

ARMYs will never change. It too late to change their backwards views but atleast they should not show up in Jikook spaces and spam with "they are brothers." "I do this with my sibling." comments. Are You Sure wasn't catered for the likes of those who will watch Jimin and Jungkook's relationship and just immediately cast them aside as platonic brothers without seeing and comprehending the beautiful bond they have. And hyping those who are claiming the travel vlog as shippers content.

No they do not have to believe that Jimin and Jungkook are in a love relationship but they also don't have the right to label their relationship as brothers because apparently ARMYs have proclaimed themselves as "who can be queer" police. ARMYs should watch Are You Sure and leave it at that if they don't have anything other than a stupid or an incestuous comment on it.

Like how is Jungkook slapping Jimin's booty something you do with your sibling? How is Jungkook's intense gaze on Jimin's sleeping form reminding you of how your father looks at you when you sleep? How the fuck are those takes normal?

This discourse can go on longer on how they are obsessed with the "rapper girlfriend" trope when it comes to Jungkook's relationship with Namjoon but I decided not to. But the truth of the matter is... ARMYs are annoying. If you are a Taekook, Namjin, Vmin or a Yoonmin shipper you deserve flowers and praise on your comment section but if you are a Jikooker you deserve a spam of "You are delusional" type of comments on your post.

I'm glad Jikook scares them so much. It feeds my soul. And it makes me believe in them so much more. Because Jimin and Jungkook even got "Queer ARMYs" hating on them. Like if they hate is coming from inside the house.... you better believe that shit is good.

So usually when it comes to Yoonmin I am pretty chill, I am like, these two have a bond that I have cherished the most from the moment I became an ARMY. I don't even know why, just smth about it felt so beautiful to me. And this was back in 2019 so they weren't as loud as they've been in Chapter 2. But anyway, usually what I do when I see moments of theirs is swoon and move on aka I try to be pragmatic cause who even knows what they have, like we can only speculate.

HOWEVER. There is one specific moment, the moment when Jimin decided to gift BST to Yoongi that had me like...okay how tf are you guys not feeding my delusions rn??

Like how can that moment be interpreted, objectively, in any '...oh they're just bros being bros' way?? Cause it's freaking BST not like...idk Spring Day or smth that can be interpreted in many ways.

I imagine the excuses are: “He was just kidding, or “It was fanservice.” Neither of those explanations rings true to me.

We’re all familiar with the lyrics, and the music video, and the fact that Yoongi was quite fascinated with Wings era Jimin.

And let’s not forget that this wasn’t the only ment during the concert. He could have dedicated a song later on…there was a ment right before Dynamite and Butter. Dedicating one of those songs would have felt very platonic, unlike this.

Honestly, the only thing about this moment that makes me pause is that it’s SO obvious, and yoonmin is normally a very subtle ship.

This isnt about jikookers vs tkkrs. This is about the incomparable violent hate jimin gets from a very specific demographic. Please stop publishing certain asks to answer to justify your echo chamber. What you observe in shipping communities doesnt mean shit when it is jimin only that has the biggest amount of hate from a certain category of people. If you actually do care about jimin as you claim you would stop looking at it from a this shipper vs this shipper perspective and start seeing it through jimin, the actual real human being, getting violently hated on by a group of people for so many years. The hatred toward Jimin is not rooted only in shipping dynamics, it's also rooted in bigoted perceptions of him, people often using misogynistic language toward Jimin due to his traditional "feminine" appearance and/or mannerisms. Also, because his family is more public eye, it unfortunately makes them easier targets. You think I don't know about that and that I'm trying to ignore it?

Like I said, you can go on my page at any time and see the countless times I have defended Jimin (and Jungkook) from baseless claims. But you have decided to ignore that in favor of the conversation I talked about today.

I think what people are failing to see, the point that I'm trying to make, is that people on twitter decided to cyberbully two people profusely on the grounds of something that is a silly thing to bully them over. You can't say you hate seeing Jimin get bullied, and then in the same breath, accuse me of ignoring the "bigger picture" in the name of other people being bullied. That's not how it works.

Fact: Jimin gets bullied a lot. We all know that and we all hate it. Also fact: People who write fanfiction are not always trying to incite hate against people and are just artists trying to tell a story.

I said, this fic writer who is not a Jimin anti, who doesn't hate Jimin, who doesn't wish the worst on him or his family, wrote a fic. A taekook fic. Sure, taekookers have a large portion of delusional and hateful fans, that is true. But you know what else is true? The author who wrote the FICTIONAL story, cannot control if a good apple or a bad apple reads it. No one had an issue with any of their other stories, none of the yoonmin, jikook, or yoonkook ones. Not to mention, like jikookers, some taekookers are against the idea of fanfiction altogether.

By the logic that many people have been telling me today, art should not be allowed to be made if the audience that consumes is has a considerable toxic side. Most anime fanbases wouldn't make it to next week, and you know how much they love to hate on their Mangakas. Kpop fanbases are also extremely toxic in nature, therefore it's a bad idea to have these artists release music and content, since Kpop stans have a reputation of spamming people and doxxing people over their idols.

But... that sounds entirely ridiculous. We all know these idols are not responsible for their fanbases, especially when they grow into the millions. This is sort of akin to people blaming idols for inciting certain actions by their fanbase even though they didn't do anything. If an idol tells their fans to attack someone, then yes, they are entirely responsible for what happens afterward. I mean, we have one NewJeans fan account, talytokki, who purposely and maliciously used her influence to send hundreds of bunnies to doxx and cyberbully multiple Kpop creators.

But just think about, just a year and half ago, Jungkook was accused of "feeding the shippers" because he would talk about the other members within his livestreams. It doesn't make any sense, it's not his fault that people move the way that they move.

It's kind of a dangerous precedent, and fanfiction itself is not solely responsible for the actions made against Jimin. Most of the authors who write these fics know it isn't real, and yes, there are some stories where these authors take advantage to make Jimin the villain, that is true. We have seen it. But it's not always the case, some people just like the dynamics and want to write a nice story.

That's why we punish and out the individuals who do write these terrible stories. Like that one Ocean story, or that infamous military comic.

It doesn't change the fact that what happened is that hundreds of people dog piled on two other people, caused one to deactivate (who was a jikooker and loved jimin), and made baseless claims about their characters.

So instead of bullying people who are not Jimin antis about people being Jimin antis, we can make valid criticisms instead. Why blame someone who is very pro-Jimin? When I was in my writing acc prime, I'd get like 100+ quote rts a day, and like I said, I wasn't going through those accounts to check and see what they were up to because it was an impossible and tiring task.

So maybe, we can kindly ask these authors to be more conscious, to make sure that the people that they repost onto their platforms aren't potentially bad people. Some fic authors don't even repost qrts. It's really that easy. No death threats or excessive bullying necessary.

Hyung JK in action. Bon voyage season 4 episode 6.

Btw this was a satellite Jimin moment. He was on the other side then went to sit between JK and Suga. Anyway. Members are done eating and are just hanging by the fire. They then start discussing where they will sleep. Jimin says while looking at JK:

The night before he slept in the RV. So this night he wanted to sleep in the tent. Get the experience. So he turns to JK and says that 👆🏽 JK replies:

But then Jimin is like; babe, I don't think you understand, I will be in that tent with Suga

But JK super unbothered and very casual is like; go ahead, its cool. Sounds good

Like I mentioned before, JK doesn't have an issue with all Yoonmin moments. And he had no problem with the sleeping in the tent together.

What gets me about this though is how Jimin is clearly asking for permission here. Because he knows how JK feels about Suga. If that wasn't the case he wouldn't have specified he would be sleeping in the tent with Suga. But he did not want to upset bae and so he wanted to make sure JK was okay with it before he did anything.

I don't know how to say this. People get hung up on little details like this and blow them out of proportions to fit their ship fantasy. Yoonmin have interactions because they are friends and of course they are close and so what. Jimin is not feeding anyone, this guy hates fan service, he's just being a good friend like he is with every member of the group.

Yoonmin has so little things to go on as a ship compared to jikook that it's not even worth mentioning to me. I personally dgaf about what yoonminers think or do or obsess over. I dislike shipping two people that are not and never will be together just because there is a fantasy about it.

Jikook are together strong and solid so whatever yoonmin may or may not do I don't care at all. They are close so of course they will interact and it's normal.

The bar for Jk was so low. All he had to do was post anything and he didn't and you are blaming Jimin because he spent time with Yoongi?

I don't know how familiar you are with the dynamic between yoonmin but their friendship goes way back. Even before jikook was a thing, yoonmin was the ship because they have that teasing funny dynamic but Jikook appeared naturally and yoonmin went away into the shadows. Yoongi and Jimin have had periods where their friendship was stronger even if they didn't mention it as often as others do to the cameras. its not that the comparison to how yg treats jm vs taekook is not true (there is a clear difference and he babies the other two a lot...) but its just that there is this specific dynamic that was set between him and jimin (as they call it tom&jerry and has been aknowledged before) i feel like they are kind of stuck in this as their dynamic so yg kind of goes off based on what he thinks is the kind of bond he has with jimin it's just that he takes it too far and at one point it stopped being entertaining as he probably thinks it is like pack it up no one is laughing.

I see what you’re getting at though. Idols who have an idea of what the fans might like and play off of it. Maybe that could be a portion of it concerning that part of their “dynamic”, but yg has never given feeding into what the fans like to me. He’s always been very blunt and honest. The day was similar to a chain of days both of them are used to having quite often. It was tiring, exhausting, draining you of your last piece of energy. It didn't mean it was any easier to bear.

Yoongi walked into his apartment on autopilot and slumped on the chair in the hallway without even taking his shoes off. His head felt fuzzy which he has been battling with for the last several hours. It was piling up like a snowball, slowly becoming borderline dangerous ad he was wearing himself thin. He didn't want to have a breakdown and Yoongi always knew when to stop. He often crossed that line by hours, which happened today too.

He felt the remnants of his energy bleed out of him, making the gravity feel so much more pressing today. He didn't even register right away that he wasn't alone in his flat. Only when he saw two yellow fluffy slippers appearing in his line of vision where he was staring on the floor, he realised Jimin was there. He was home.

- Hyung, you're home! I've been waiting for ages, - he chirped, surely expecting some kind of response.

Yoongi nodded but without verbally responding. He wasn't really feeling like talking. His tongue was like made of lead. After a couple of more questions Jimin must have realized that because he crouched, trying to look the elder in the face. His hands rubbed at Yoongi's tense thighs and he found that he was feeling quite cold.

- Yoonie, it's okay. Let's not talk but I'd really like you to have at least something to eat or warm to drink before you get knocked out. The food has just been cooked! Let's have a look?

Jimin made his funny pleading face which made Yoongi raise the corners of his lips slightly. He let himself be led into the kitchen after Jimin took his shoes off himself. There were no spectacular dishes but there was a nice bowl of rice with some broth and grilled meat.

- Let's sit together, - the younger offered softly.

Yoongi followed and soon the dinner was plated in front of him. Jimin situated by his side and talked about his day, not asking any more questions but rather simply talking, without Yoongi needing to answer anything.

Jimin managed to do everything at once: talk and eat and feed his hyung all at the same time. He kept the subjects light so they could be easily just play as a background.

It wasn't the first time it happened so Jikin knew how to act from the last time. First he needed to separate the peels from the seeds. What was truly important? Yoongi needed to feel as comfortable as possible, feel clean and cared for. So the younger was determined not to leave the elder's side even for a second.

Yoongi seemed to be enjoying the food at first but some time later he didn't seem all that eager. His chewing slowed down and he started scrunching his face at whatever Jimin picked with the spoon for him. That was their cue to move on from dinner.

The younger urged his hyung to get up and gently led him towards the bathroom. After turning the water on, he stripped him of his clothes and Yoongi didn't protest. Instead he showed his pretty tooothy smile. The clothes must have been irritating him but he didn't show it until now.

- What a good boy, Yoonie, - Jimin praised, - Let's get you in the bath and get you nice and clean now?

- I love bubble bath, - he said quietly and Jimin cupped his full cheeks.

- Of course it will be a bubble bath, baby. Would you like to choose a bomb?

He nodded and took out the box full of various bath bombs from under the sink. Jimin recalled how they both just a couple of weeks ago stumbled upon an online shop that had a large variety. They laid in bed together and picked everything that they remotely liked and Yoongi already made plans to use all of them one by one.

Yoongi picked one and then another, and then sniffed at each before moving on to the next. He seemed to be really liking an orange peel and bergamot one and a bubblegum one too. He weighed them both in his hands as if trying to decide which he liked better.

- It's okay if you pick one now we can use another one right the next time. I will remember this, okay? - he said.

Yoongi insisted he wanted to drop it when he will be inside so Jimin distracted him with light touches to his sides and belly while they waited for the water to fill. Yoongi giggled cutely and clutched at the scented ball, then pouting and complaining that Jimin was going to make him drop it.

Jimin laughed along, making sure to always keep his hands on his hyung, reassuring him he wasn't going to leave him even for a little. When the water reached the needed level, Jimin helped the elder get into the hot tub. Yoongi sat there and drowned the bomb and watched at the coloured swirls and foam in fascination. While he was busy with that, Jimin prepared everything he needed for washing. He asked Yoongi about every product, every type of soap and even loofah. He knew Yoonie really liked making choices. He wasn't sure what it was about but he went with that without question.

Yoongi busied himself with playing with bubbles and pieces of peel that came out of the bomb. Jimin waited for the inevitable and soon enough it came: Yoongi tried putting one of the pieces in his mouth. Jimin sat on the floor next to the tub and managed to take Yoongi's wrist just on time. His hold was gentle and he wasn't trying to scold him, the younger simply smiled at him and Yoongi looked a little bit embarrassed.

- It just smelt so good, - he said, pouting, - So I just wanted to try.

Jimin did his best to make his voice as kind and soft as possible.

- Let's not try this, baby? If you want to eat it, I'll get you something with this exact flavor but this will just make your tummy icky.

- I don't like that, - he frowned and let the piece of peel float away.

They sat like that for a bit and then Jimin got to washing. Yoongi diligently sat through all the motions, asking to rub his back more or giggling when the loofah was going over his feet and ticklish toes. He wasn't quite happy with washing his hair but Jimin knew it was just in the beginning. As Jimin explained that he will put up his hand as a barrier so nothing get into his eyes, Yoongi relaxed and let Jimin do whatever.

Jimin, on the other hand, enjoyed washing his hyung's hair. It was long and thick and he liked massaging his scalp to witness the content expression on his baby's face. Yoongi couldn't see it for himself, of course, but he resembled a cat who just got the cream, loads of it.

Yoongi regretfully looked at the bath as Jimin softly coaxed him out of it. He took the towel and rubbed himself clumsily so Jimin took over and patted him dry, wrapping another, smaller towel over his head.

- Are you cold? - he asked when he noticed his hyung shivering.

No matter how rejuvenating and relaxing a bath can be, it was painfully obvious just how worn out and tired he was. He was yawning and there were dark circles under his eyes. Yoongi nodded and Jimin slung another fluffy towel over his shoulders.

After washing his face and brushing his teeth and all other preparations, they proceeded to the bedroom where Jimin pulled the set of homewear clothes on his hyung and asked him to sit on the bed so he could towel dry his hair.

- Are you feeling better?

- 'M sleepy, - he answered, eyes landing on the bedside cabinet. - I want one of these.

There was a stack of ultra pasteurized milk boxes Jimin bought the other day, just in case. He actually got the idea on the littles forum. He passed Yoongi a box and sat next to him, combing through his now semi dried hair.

Jimin wondered how he was coping until this day. Even he felt like he was drowning in a deep ocean. There were so many things, so many details that he needed to know, so many possibilities he had to consider now. How did his hyung manage on his own for such a long time?

He noticed Yoongi was dozing off with a straw still in his mouth. He put the almost empty box to the side and all but put Yoongi to bed himself, lying him on the soft mattress and covering him with a warm blanket.

- Are you going, Jiminie? - he asked, suddenly wide awake.

- No, Yoonie, I'm staying right here.

After everything he's read lately on caregiving, Jimin couldn't even phantom the thought of leaving his hyung alone in this state. And if he was perfectly honest with himself, he wouldn't leave even if he didn't know about it, even if there wasn't such a thing, if his hyung wasn't a little. Jimin would still prefer to stay.

They both were the same in this sense: a warm body next to them was healing better than any remedy. With them being comfortable with each other for years there was no better solution then staying close to one other all night, skin to skin.

This ask reminds me of the way some people talk about Jimin and Yoongi. One minute it’s “he’s just mentioning him to feed the ship! He just wants attention!” and the next minute it’s “he’s so bitter. He didn’t even mention Jimin’s hot 100 #1” (even though he did). Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

The members are all allowed to mention each other. Period. They’re members of the same group and their success is intertwined and THEY’RE ALL CLOSE!

Anon is also ignoring important context. Whether you ship tkk or not, the fact is that they spend time together outside of work. Their relationship/friendship/however you want to see it isn’t based solely on the times Tae mentions Jk publicly. Same is true for yoonmin. Same is true for any pair.

Anyway, as I mentioned in the past, this type of criticism of certain members really pisses me off. People act as though there are only two ways to see a ship: 1. as “real”/ as a couple or 2. as some sort of queerbaiting/fanservice/self-promotion hybrid. But there is an important middle ground regardless of shipping beliefs. Deciding to assume the worst of someone just seems like a miserable option, frankly.
