I wish some fans, artists, cosplayers, creators, and designers would combine the thief (Star-Lord/Peter Quill), the thug (Rocket), the maniac (Drax), the angry little tree (Groot), and the assassin (Gamora) with Voltes V. Because we all know the release dates of May 2023.

For those who are wondering, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was released on May 5, which is the same release as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 while Voltes V: Legacy (TV Series) was released on May 8.

The way they sprint over the buildings faster than he can run around them is intimidating   ( not that he’d ever admit it )   and it’s clear they know their way around better than he does. God, he hates Terra. There’s always some asshole dressed up in latex trying to foil is plans. Stupid humans. Stupid -- “Shit!”

Dead end. Yondu manages to skid to a halt before slamming into the brick wall in front of him, barely regains his stance before his pursuer lands in front of him. The alien turns on his heal, wonky grin on his face, hands up in surrender. His stolen goods are in one hand, wrapped in brown paper. He shifts, as subtly as his can, so his arrow has the room to fly out from beneath his coat.

          “Okay, ya caught me. Justice prevails, an’ all that.”

It came to me suddenly. Yondu was like Mary Poppins.

When  Quill didn’t want him, but needed him, he was there.

When Quill wanted him, but no longer needed him, he was gone.

When Ego was collecting his children, Yondu ‘’stole’’ Quill for himself, saving Quill’s life even if to Quill it was a kidnapping. If Yondu hadn’t done so he would be dead. Ergo, didn’t want, but needed.

So when Quill had grown up and became one of the Guardians, he didn’t really need Yondu anymore, but obviously wanted him by his side as the true father figure he was to him, he was gone.

I love this strange blue man with all my heart
