Day ① of #yogapartypeople: #heartopener: dancer pose My back is really stiff so heart/chest openers are usually hard for me. Despite dancer pose is not a really big heart opener it feels lovely.

Day 28 of #yogapartypeople is #sun. My chaturanga has come a long way since the first time I heard it being instructed to me by a workout/yoga app. I remember laughing at the name and then being frustrated because I couldn’t keep a straight line and would fall flat on my face after 2 seconds.

Yoga has taught me to be patience and take things as them come, listen to my body and learn how to work with it instead if against it. Its been 2 almost 3 years since I first did this asana and I still struggle with it, but keep in mind that greatness does not happen overnight, its a lifelong process and I am happy and grateful to have yoga to teach me and remind me that every single time I step on my mat.

#yogapartypeople day 31: #namaste 

"My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides. I honor the light, love, truth, beauty, and peace within you, because it is also within me. In sharing these things we are united, we are the same, we are one."

We are truly one. I see the beauty and light in all of those who participated in our surprisingly large yoga party. Thank you so so so much for joining in on our fun. I loved seeing everyone's posts everyday. It truly inspired me and learn for all of you. I also love that people are creating a friendly and loving and supportive yoga community as well as making friends! This is what it is all about. I am so grateful for all of you. Thank you for teaching me with all your insight and love. I absolutely love seeing all the pictures and reading about all of your yoga journey. The light in me sees the light in you. I can't wait to see everyone's posts for #freeyogis starting tomorrow!
