gravity falls is a cartoon centered around the pines family, the main characters being dipper and mabel pines, 12 yr old twins who come to gravity falls to live with their grunkle (grand-uncle) stan for the summer, but soon they discover there is more going on in this tiny town in oregon than they think. it also just so happens to be the best childrens cartoon ever, in my opinion.

there is a massive underlying plot, so many secrets, insane reveals and twists, codes to decipher, real life shit, websites, books, a large and amazing fanbase, old man yaoi, psychological torture, physical torture, a beautiful cast of characters, the most hilarious dialogue ever, so much fucked up shit you’ll wonder how it ever got the disney tick of approval, and so, so much more!!!!

there are secrets and easter eggs in every episode. dont skip the intro or ending. like ever. and dont skip a single episode. everything is important. if you can, i highly recommend buying journal 3 and the book of bill (BUT ONLY ONCE YOURE DONE WITH THE ENTIRE SERIES!!!)
