You two initially met after you'd been put together in chemistry class

You were so nervous because 1.) you have to be lab partners with someone you didn't know and 2.) the person you'd been put with was literally Jasper Hale????

After you'd taken a seat next to him he just sort of... stared

You thought he was being a bit weird

And that maybe he was also not happy about being put with you

But in his mind he is freaking out

He already struggles with being next to humans

But being this close? He is struggling

And not only that, but this human who's just sat down next to him is one of the most attractive people he's ever seen

But he holds himself together

He is also not a talkative person though...

It literally takes a week straight of sitting next to him and doing labs for him to talk to you

And the rest is history, as they say

He's also a bit of a quiet guy, so I feel like he'd really like an SO who can just kinda chill

But I am sad to say he's not too much of a help in public

At least at first

With you still being so nervous around him, he can't really tell when you get more anxious

If the McDonald's worker puts pickles on your burger when you asked for none... sorry there's nothing he can do

He doesn't like to talk to people

And so he doesn't

At least not unless you ask him

Which is highly unlikely

So you just suffer for a little bit

But after he's gotten more used to your presence and you've stopped being so anxious around him, he can feel more of your complex emotions

He can more easily differentiate your normal anxiety versus your heightened anxiety

And he steps in

After he's become more attuned to you, he can more easily tell when you need some help

He's gotten so sensitive to it that if he feels your anxiety levels raise he can gauge how much and what the problem is

Without even needing to be in the same room

He tries his best to help you out

But he also doesn't really wanna talk to the minimum wage worker about what was wrong with your food

Overall he likes that you're so shy

It makes it easier for him

Sorry but he does not want to be introduced to like 100 people that are all your friends

And he doesn't have to worry about being dragged to parties

He also finds it funny when you can't even bring yourself to talk to someone at the store to ask them to get something off the top shelf

A quick way to get him to shut up though is to tell him to ask someone

His lips are sealed after that

But let me be clear, he is the only one allowed to tease you

If anyone else, human or vampire, makes fun of you he is after them

If it’s one of the Cullens he tells them off

And if it’s a human he kindly hires a hitman (Emmett) to solve the issue

1 | gwen def plays with any animal shaped food or treat she gets her hands on. gummy worms/bears, animal crackers, goldfish, etc. has entire cinematic scenes before she eats em. i imagine thats also how she processed situations as a kid too, she’d act them out with the silly candies. bonus: miles sees her do it sometime, thinks its mfing adorable and picks the habit up, and he plays along w her sometimes. he does it on his own at times when he thinks of her and his dad would go “miles what are you doing??” and he’d go “UH W-WELL-“

2 | ever since gwen joined the spider society and found out about canon events, she has never stopped having nightmares about it. one night its her falling and miles not being able to catch her, another its her father dying because of her, another its her friends’ universes glitching out completely along with them. she rarely gets sleep because of how much she avoids it altogether, terrified of having to relive those moments over and over. blaming herself for every single event that happens, often she’ll just stay up, listening to music or laying in silence, falling into a million thoughts that slowly evolve into more panic. nights arent good for her. she prefers not to sleep alone because of this; hobie helped with that a lot when she slept at his place.

🌷 Hm Sootsnow I guess they have a few quirks I can count for them— like sleeping in the middle of camp constantly, the fact that he has to replace his bandage almost every other day because he uses it to bite stim on (Silk is beyond tired of it but never stops or scolds him for it). Soot actually takes a lot of pride in their looks, which is why the scar he has is covered up, he uses a lot of time to make himself presentable.

🌷 Moth! My baby! Bugaboo here changes out accessories a lot, always gold to match the eyes, of course. Right now it's a flower-bud. Uuuh I've already talked about how squeamish Moth is, like how the rest of the family will drain prey for blood for Moth, but that's a big quirk I guess: a germaphobe and squeamish.

🪲 Dewbat values his relationships the absolute most, Silkglide and his kits are the greatest joys in his life. As for none living values; it's justice. Though we haven't seen it, but will soon, Dew has a very Eye for an Eye mentality that a lot of Chasingclan has... he's maybe just a little swift with his judgment, not that the rest of the clan would think so.

😸 1- SHE HAS A GIRLFRIEND! YIPPEE!! Their name is Wit, and we meet her in moon??? 50 something.

2- She's done a lot of work on herself lately and with Wit's help she's actually becoming more relaxed and content with life. She still dreads using her gift but she's not reluctant like before.

3- Valley is a secret singer, if she's alone she makes up songs for herself and acts out the stories she imagines (if she was a human she'd be a warrior cats kid this is simply fact).

okie dokie! Heatherpaw is bold and oddly observant. he is the only one out of his litter who isn't ginger. his mentor was a suspected murderer at one point :]

i think his favourite prey would be rabbit!

🐾 do they prefer a wide circle of friends, or a few close ones? who’s their best friend?

he doesn't have any friends :[ he has a lot of respect for the older warriors, and likes to do kind things for them, but he isn't friends with anyone yet. he's too new to the clan i suppose, and his bold personality might put off some cats haha. for now, his best friend is his closest sibling, Sagepaw!

🌟 do they have any special powers or abilities?

okay so when i read this question i immediately thought of superpowers, which none of my cats have, but now this thought is planted in my brain and i have IDEAS. time for superpower cats in my clan!!!. but not Heatherpaw sadly. maybe if he develops more of a role, but for now he's just a super observant apprentice with a lot to learn and a life to craft for himself haha

🌷what are some of their quirks and other mannerisms?

oooh, what a fun question! well, heatherpaw was born as a loner in the wild with only his mother and siblings, so his entire way of life used to come from just his mother. she, Tumbleblaze, actually used to be a travelling healer, so i like to think that Heatherpaw helps so many older warriors because he observed / heard stories about what his mother did to help others. she's a healer in SpringClan as well, so he definitely still copies her example :]

🍀 what is a secret they’re hiding?

oooo... i would say his only secret is that he hates a cat called Houndroar, who is part of a family line who are notorious for turning traitor and leading attacks against the clan. Houndroar is only 15 moons old, and his own mentor was actually killed by his uncle in one said attack when he was an apprentice, so there's nothing specific that Houndroar could have done to make Heatherpaw angry at him, but Heatherpaw hates him nonetheless. i think, in his youthful ignorance, Heatherpaw doesn't understand that it isn't Houndroar's fault that he comes from that family. he has a bias against them. i also think Heatherpaw is quite proud of his own family, especially because of his strict-natured but incredible mother, so in his mind he's willing to put down other families who aren't as great as his, y'know? .... sorry for rambling so heavily gsgfhdjs

also, COOKIE MENTION!!! /silly, vpos. also ×2, i am sorry to tell you that Heatherpaw isn't a tortie! he's just a dark brown tabby — don't worry, it was just the lighting from where i took the picture on my phone haha. have some actual torties for compensation! :D
