while it was possible for a baby to survive this before modern medicine thanks to midwifery, chances were still quite slim, since a baby can die very quickly this way + removing the umbilical cord from the baby's neck was a high risk procedure due to lack of proper medical tools. nowadays, a nuchal cord during delivery is relatively harmless, which is crazy to think about. (emphasis on *during*, if the baby was like that for a long time it is definitely serious, although they can catch it early with ultrasound)

I can't remember where it came from but there were times where he was unable to move. It just had me thinking "Somebody pleeeasse give this guy a mobility aid! Talenol or something." But I thought he would be too prideful to use it. YAAAYYY!! YOU'RE THE GOAT FOR THIS ONE!

based on a headcanon where due to the double dose of Agony he received, Eclipse feels some pain that hinders his ability to walk. Some days are fine, some days he needs to use it. But he adamantly refuses to use it around the others to avoid "looking weak".
